There has been a rumor floating around that rather than unveiling its next game, Jersey Jack Pinball will announce another run of its increasingly popular Pirates of the Caribbean pinball machine along with finally completed code for the game at this week’s Texas Pinball Festival. I haven’t personally heard this from any sources that I have traditionally found to be reliable, but there definitely is some smoke here. Of note, while Jersey Jack no longer shows the Wizard of Oz or The Hobbit as “Games” that are for sale through the Company’s online store, it DOES currently show Pirates there alongside Guns N’ Roses and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That was enough for me to mention this rumor here. I still think that Jersey Jack’s next game, rumored to be Toy Story based upon info from the disgruntled leaker from years ago, is coming sooner rather than later. Another rumor says that JJP is currently filming its promo for the new game down in High Point, North Carolina. Even if the new game is coming (not at TPF or MCG) with multiple assembly lines available to it, I would think that Jersey Jack could theoretically produce Pirates and the new game simultaneously. Imagine that? People would be beating down JJP‘s door for games. If I had to guess, I’d say that more Pirates are not going to be run soon and that we will likely see Toy Story sometime in June. These are just educated guesses though and not based upon any concrete info.
