They sent out the replacement part. I thought it was the wrong one. It was the right replacement part, but the dip switches got sent out in factory default mode. So one of the dip switches had to be changed. Dip switch number two had to be turned on. And suddenly the entire game started working.

This afternoon, Greg helped me figure out, we got a new board sent, Nodeboard10 died. And when they sent it, I replaced it, but it didn't fix the issue. And Stern, I sent a video off to Greg, who sent it off to Stern. And Greg and Stern spent like a day trying to figure out what was going on. And it turns out the board they sent was sent at factory default settings. There was a series of dip switches on it that needed to be changed. And so I made the dip switches match what Stern ended up recommending. And it was like at lunch today, people for miles probably heard me scream with joy when the Nodeboard 10 was found and it updated all the boards successfully. It has been a dark corner in my living room for at least 14 weeks. I'd say it's probably closer to 16. Yeah, yeah. It's just been sitting here for a long, long time. Shortage of parts. And finally, when the parts came in, yeah, me not knowing that there was a dip switch issue.

Tom Sawyer, three phases. Well, that was good. So, the toughest part for me in this game is that when you fail out of a mode, you don't immediately go back into it. You have to re-qualify the mode. and as you get later into the game that can be quite the struggle uh you have to basically eventually get to a point where you have to hit all the shots in the game there's one and now we're ready to get back into a mode this one now is big money this is my favorite mode um welcome back we're gonna hold the prize we're gonna start i think a multi-ball yep fly by night i'm back could you give me a quick summary of the rules yes but that's fine um like what's the end goal wizard mode of the game i never learned this game at all yeah let me let me find a way to trap up here all right we're i think we're good we'll see what happens here there it is there it is okay so kisco in the middle of the play field is the dark like 2112 circle you have to in order to get to 2112 complete all the modes which are identified by uh you can see the small flashing light in the top left i can't point to it right now because i'm you know what there we go so here is big money and that represents right there one of the modes there are one two three four five six modes in this game Then there are a number of different multiballs. I don't remember... Oh, no.

Yeah, six different songs. Then there's also the multiballs. When you complete all six modes, that lights your first mini wizard mode, which I think is Cygnus X2. Or Cygnus X1 Book 2. And then if you complete all of the multiballs, or go through all of the multiballs, it qualifies Cygnus X1 Book 1 and it could be vice versa. I don't remember which one does which. And then if you do both of those and go through both of the mini wizard modes I think that finally enables 2112. Now the mini wizards in this game are fantastic. They're so cool. I've only been to... I don't think I've ever been to the mode one but I have been to the multiball one several times and it's just awesome. It's really cool. um uh yeah they are song modes and it's not really like what's fun about it and kissco i think you'll appreciate this is that um big money is pink i don't know why but there's a color code association with it and every single mode in this game is unique in what you have to do big money is a push your luck situation where you have to go through three different phases of big money i don't know why three um and there's a certain number of shots to qualify the jackpot on the center ramp but every shot you get every pink lit shot you get after the minimum creates a multiplier and the multiplier carries over to each of the other modes it's great because at the end you can not only qualify a decent jackpot but then you can multiply it i think up to eight or nine times by the third collect in the third phase. So big money is really cool Working man is orange because of the orange uh like pylons or orange working code uh cones uh and that requires you to make it through a day so you start at eight or nine i think it's nine to five and you basically have to hit a number of different orange lit shots that progresses your timer by either 10 or 20 minutes um let's see here i wish the colors were on the playfield text or light mode lights okay dr curly tech now this is where a mod comes in i agree it would be great if those color associations were built into the game uh pin monk i think has already gone through and done that so for i don't know how much the part is let's say 20 or 30 bucks it's a big piece of plastic that you put uh that you put right under the playfield and it has all the mounts and it changes all of these modes to be color coordinated with the lights that light in the game when you're in those modes. So it's almost a necessary part. And I have it.

Tom Sawyer is three different phases where you have to hit a larger set of, like, green or blue lights. uh uh it's i think it's two then it's three and then it's like every light on the game uh la via strongiato is basically hit the the currently lit purple shot which is easy limelight is uh is a fun one where you're i think you're on a timer uh or a countdown and you have to hit so many shots in order to qualify uh the uh the jackpot and if i remember correctly for each of the green shots you get the playfield darkens and the the the jackpot collect gets brighter and brighter i think that's how limelight works it's it's that that what i just described is in the game it's either a multi-ball or it's limelight it's one of the two and it's awesome uh and then finally spirit of the radio i that is a three i think you need three or five collects on this easy shot and you you do you do things that enable you to collect on that but it's like a darker blue color i don't know what i said i thought i said spirit of the radio maybe i didn't but um so getting back to what i was talking about kiss code the modes in this game are all unique some of them are kind of easier but no matter what they're they're they're unique and you have to go through and play like a mini game in order to complete the mode and on top of that there's color coordination and thought as to how it integrates with the band's music in some way. It's really, really well done. Literally the only issue, the only issue I have with this game is this artwork right there. I am fine with every other piece of art. I just don't like that. And I apologize to any and all Canadians in the chat. I'm also not a huge fan of Rush, but whatever. this is like this is this is somebody's homage to rush in a way that is just awesome i i think it's great all right so i'm gonna hit that i don't know what that does oh we just collected but we didn't do any of the multipliers i kind of forgot what mode i was in All right, so I need pink shots.
