And that I have filtered using the NVIDIA artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithm to remove background noise. They sent out the replacement part. I thought it was the wrong one. It was the right replacement part, but the dip switches got sent out in factory default mode. So one of the dip switches had to be changed. Dip switch number two had to be turned on. And suddenly the entire game started working. Shell Ripper, welcome. And you have to install, if you have an NVIDIA, you know, Jedi actually, I think, did some research on how you can use the NVIDIA potentially without NVIDIA. But I have the NVIDIA 3000 series video card, and I just had to install a little bit of software, and it showed up in the dropdown menu for audio input capture filters. and then from there it's just a slider bar. It wasn't like that in previous versions of OBS. Evidently, it was a lot harder to use. Yeah, so it's the NVIDIA noise removal or noise suppression filter, and I thought originally you had to have an NVIDIA card to use it. No, no, no. You don't need an RTX card, but it still has to be an NVIDIA. Okay. Yeah, it's awesome. It's just a slider, try to tell. It's so great. So let's get a game in. I don't really care what song it is because we have the music turned off. We're listening to 80s music. As much as... I actually do kind of like Rush. It's just Rush... A lot of Rush can be a lot. And it turns out the board they sent was sent at factory default settings. There was a series of dip switches on it that needed to be changed. And so I made the dip switches match what Stern ended up recommending. And it was like at lunch today, people for miles probably heard me scream with joy when the Nodeboard 10 was found and it updated all the boards successfully. It has been a dark corner in my living room for at least 14 weeks. I'd say it's probably closer to 16. Yeah, yeah. It's just been sitting here for a long, long time. Shortage of parts. And finally, when the parts came in, yeah, me not knowing that there was a dip switch issue. This game is so fun. So by the way, this is my first game in 16 weeks on Rush. So we're doing okay. And then there's something else that happens when all three of them are flashing at once, but there's a different way it does it for when you have three all things independently lit versus a time-related perk that you can collect on. You have to re-qualify the mode. and as you get later into the game that can be quite the struggle uh you have to basically eventually get to a point where you have to hit all the shots in the game there's one and now we're ready to get back into a mode this one now is big money this is my favorite mode um welcome back we're gonna hold the prize we're gonna start i think a multiball yep fly by night i'm back could you give me a quick summary of the rules yes but that's fine um like what's the end goal wizard mode of the game i never learned this game at all yeah let me let me find a way to trap up here all right we're i think we're good we'll see what happens here there it is there it is okay so kisco in the middle of the play field is the dark like 2112 circle you have to in order to get to 2112 complete all the modes which are identified by uh you can see the small flashing light in the top left i can't point to it right now because i'm you know what there we go so here is big money and that represents right there one of the modes there are one two three four five six modes in this game Then there are a number of different multiballs. I don't remember... Oh, no. Yeah, six different songs. Then there's also the multiballs. When you complete all six modes, that lights your first mini wizard mode, which I think is Cygnus X2. Or Cygnus X1 Book 2. And then if you complete all of the multiballs, or go through all of the multiballs, it qualifies Cygnus X1 Book 1 and it could be vice versa. I don't remember which one does which. And then if you do both of those and go through both of the mini wizard modes I think that finally enables 2112. Now the mini wizards in this game are fantastic. They're so cool. I've only been to... I don't think I've ever been to the mode one but I have been to the multiball one several times and it's just awesome. It's really cool. um uh yeah they are song modes and it's not really like what's fun about it and kissco i think you'll appreciate this is that um big money is pink i don't know why but there's a color code association with it and every single mode in this game is unique in what you have to do big money is a push your luck situation where you have to go through three different phases of big money i don't know why three um and there's a certain number of shots to qualify the jackpot on the center ramp but every shot you get every pink lit shot you get after the minimum creates a multiplier and the multiplier carries over to each of the other modes it's great because at the end you can not only qualify a decent jackpot but then you can multiply it i think up to eight or nine times by the third collect in the third phase. So big money is really cool Working man is orange because of the orange uh like pylons or orange working code uh cones uh and that requires you to make it through a day so you start at eight or nine i think it's nine to five and you basically have to hit a number of different orange lit shots that progresses your timer by either 10 or 20 minutes um let's see here i wish the colors were on the playfield text or light mode lights okay dr curly tech now this is where a mod comes in i agree it would be great if those color associations were built into the game uh pin monk i think has already gone through and done that so for i don't know how much the part is let's say 20 or 30 bucks it's a big piece of plastic that you put uh that you put right under the playfield and it has all the mounts and it changes all of these modes to be color coordinated with the lights that light in the game when you're in those modes. So it's almost a necessary part. And I have it. Pinmonk sent it to me, and I just ordered a new set of flipper coil fans from him for The Mandalorian. Yeah, it's awesome. Ah, nice, like the plastic screen on an old Vectrex video game system. Dr. Curlytech, I'm going to nod and say yeah, but I have no idea what you're talking about. But imagine I didn't say that and I'm nodding as though we are both on the same page right now. I don't want my nerd cred to be knocked away or what's the phrase from Pirates of the Caribbean? I don't want you to impugn my nerddom with going overly technical. Wow, that's a callback. I remember Vectrex as S.J.F. I am the, I'm no longer, I no longer fall into the appropriate groups. All right, what are we doing? Oh, we're in a multiball. Oh, so that is kind of how you work through the game. Oh, so I did Big Money. I talked about Working Man. Tom Sawyer is three different phases where you have to hit a larger set of, like, green or blue lights. uh uh it's i think it's two then it's three and then it's like every light on the game uh la via strongiato is basically hit the the currently lit purple shot which is easy limelight is uh is a fun one where you're i think you're on a timer uh or a countdown and you have to hit so many shots in order to qualify uh the uh the jackpot and if i remember correctly for each of the green shots you get the playfield darkens and the the the jackpot collect gets brighter and brighter i think that's how limelight works it's it's that that what i just described is in the game it's either a multiball or it's limelight it's one of the two and it's awesome uh and then finally spirit of the radio i that is a three i think you need three or five collects on this easy shot and you you do you do things that enable you to collect on that but it's like a darker blue color i don't know what i said i thought i said spirit of the radio maybe i didn't but um so getting back to what i was talking about kiss code the modes in this game are all unique some of them are kind of easier but no matter what they're they're they're unique and you have to go through and play like a mini game in order to complete the mode and on top of that there's color coordination and thought as to how it integrates with the band's music in some way. It's really, really well done. Literally the only issue, the only issue I have with this game is this artwork right there. I am fine with every other piece of art. I just don't like that. And I apologize to any and all Canadians in the chat. I'm also not a huge fan of Rush, but whatever. this is like this is this is somebody's homage to rush in a way that is just awesome i i think it's great all right so i'm gonna hit that i don't know what that does oh we just collected but we didn't do any of the multipliers i kind of forgot what mode i was in All right, so I need pink shots. Okay, now hit that shot, which is great. That shot. Oh, man. Shoot the right ramp. All right, I'm at 4x on the multiplier here. That stinks. I'm going to try this again. Hmm. One more time. Which is fine. Now I'm going to try this right ramp. Got it. All right. Now I'll take that multiplier and a combo jackpot. Uh, what did we... We're at... I don't know what our multiplier is at anymore. Okay. What do we need? Uh, looks like two more shots before we're ready to qualify big money. Man, I cannot find that ramp. It's like I had it for a minute. If we need one more, that's fine. I'm going to let it kick it out from the middle. Oh, it gave it to me. Okay, so now we're at 7x. Let's see. Oh, man, I think we can get up to 10x. No, no. don't even think about that yeah all right so we've got two more shots here i could do 8x but i'm not gonna i really want to max this out so i'm going to try and hit left orbit to there all right that should be 10x cool all right now if we hit the middle shot we collect at 10x on an award value of 3.1 million got it so that should be 30 31 million right yes there is a progress bar um top left of the lcd screen describes what to do it does absolutely now here's the fun thing before you go to qualify a mode you can choose whether or not you want to qualify the mode and that's it and start it or do you want to increase the value of that mode. So check this out. I'm going to hit this shot here. I need two more to light a mode. Now one more. So I'm going to hit one more shot. Darn it. There it is. Or I could just drain. I really wanted to show that off, but we qualified the mode, but we could have pushed it. Right, exactly. Higher peanut. Well, I don't know. Is it a multiplier or is it a percentage increase, which I guess is a multiplier. It's just a less than one multiplier. Sure. Like a .5 multiplier. I think you can... I've never tried to max it out. Let's do that really quick. There's one. All right, now let's grab more. So watch that top left corner in the LCD. I'm going to hit that shot. I got... Now I'm at shot values are plus 10%, which would be a 0.1 multiplier. Does it allow you to still collect it for starting modes? Does it allow you to still collect it for starting... Does that... Yeah, is there really no cap on it? uh if you make oh that's right and if you make all the albums the same color as the mode those shots will all be 2x shots right kiss coat all right take the glass off let's check it out i don't think there is i think i've seen six to nine hundred percent i kind of i kind of kind I want to keep trying that just to see what that looks like.
