Finally, somebody put out some decent-looking artwork that was consistent with the artwork that John Crapper, or whatever his name is, who did the artwork on the pin itself. It seemed to complement it, and that, I felt, was really exciting. You guys saw that I put the Velociraptor mod into it yesterday. I did also get, then, the Helicopter mod, so this actually spins now. I'm kind of excited. I put a couple games on it just to feel that spin when the ball goes over it. It's just as cool as it sounds. And Pinsomniac, just stopping by to say hi, but heading to bed. Pinsomniac, thank you so much for stopping by. Get some sleep. Totally get it. And good luck. I guess I'm staying focused on work. And also, huge congrats on you moving up into your new position at the Pinball Network, George. Dice, I just got asked to manage what I had been sending and bothering the guys at the Pinball Network about for weeks. So, honestly, I feel like they did themselves a favor because I was just going to continue bothering them with, you know, can we do this or can we do that? I would love to get this going or something like that. So we're kind of in the first stage of an organized disaster right now on the Pinball Network as far as the streaming stuff goes. They've honestly had their hands full, I think, and have really nailed the podcast portion of TPN because they're putting out three or four podcasts a week, and it's really good content. In fact, I think, what is it? It's the Pinball Stories or the Pinball Diaries. The one that goes over a different historical aspect might be one of my favorite podcasts, like, flat out. And then, of course, the weekly shows are great. Anytime Dennis Riesel's on there, it's awesome. I love his – it's interesting. It's almost like he has hope in pinball, but that doesn't complement his pessimistic view on life, I would guess. But the hope is there. It's weird. Anyway, um, waffles, that is a lot of emotes.

    I know, I feel, so that's the other part, caveat, I tried taking off the, um, uh-huh, I'm gonna miss, I, I, I'm gonna miss, uh, I'm gonna miss, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna miss Cromwell as well. That is really disappointing. We had just gotten to the point where we were chatting a decent amount, and now he's out. It's fine. Been hitting up Zach, and then we have a Discord going then for all the TPN people, and conversation's moving pretty good on there. Everybody's trying to help everybody out right now with streaming, because I don't know if it's popular belief that streaming is easy, but streaming is not easy, especially when you're trying to coordinate, in this instance, four different cameras and lighting and, yeah, having everything stay connected all the time and also maintaining a decent, not just resolution, but quality on the stream, I think that's really become huge. Especially with everybody having all this excess time, I love to see so many new streamers out there. And the same thing that Al Anonymous did for me back in the day, I want to push everybody over to 60 frames per second as opposed to trying to push out 1080 at a lower frame rate. 60 frame rates is the way to go, and if that means you're capped at 720, that is fine. I would take 720 at 60 FPS any day, and that's what I would want to repush, which is something that MPT3K and I had gone over in one of the second string episodes that we did. I think he's got VODs.

I live in the Fox Cities. mini pinballer just for team 10 push-ups 720p is still technically hd exactly yeah so go for the in my opinion and what's nice is uh mpt3k built an amazing set of videos to show you the difference between uh what was it seven 1080p at 30 frames per second or 1080p at 60 or maybe it was 1080p at 30 and 720 at 60, whatever it was, you can see the difference in how buttery smooth the ball moves along the play field, uh, at 60 frames per second, as opposed to this, like, skipping around motion you get at 30 frames per second. So, yeah, if you're, if you're thinking about getting into streaming, uh, of pinball, uh, obviously going to something that can do 60 frames per second is a little bit more of a cost to get you there, because the inexpensive Logitech 920s don't do 60 FPS. But if you start and you enjoy it and you're wanting to put more money in, I think the very first thing you can do, as long as your computer can handle it and your bandwidth related to your internet connection, is to switch to 60 frames per second. It's night and day. And I'm going to be a bit of a lurky turkey tonight. I'm getting more work done on MLP. Awesome to hear that, Dice. And if you have to sacrifice resolution for FPS, give up the res. Exactly. Sorry, I don't mean to be nailing or hitting a dead horse, hitting the hammer on the head, mixing metaphors. And this is a Penn Stadium Extreme that you just attach using magnets to the outside. Normally, I have them positioned in a vertical position where it shines the light at an angle kind of into the machine. but I'm trying tonight for the first time using them another way that pin stadium recommends,

    which is laying it down flat on the pinball machine, which pushes the light directly in. And with the new pin blades, it kind of reflects off the pin blades a little bit and sends more light overall into the machine. I think I'm kind of happy with it as is right now. The problem is it creates really bright white lines on the outsides. So we'll see. If you guys, if you think it's too bright, we can try it the other direction, go back and forth a few times, but trying out new stuff. Yeah, you get glares off the metal, exactly. So as opposed to the other way, there's no glare, but I think it lights up the play field a lot more this way. So we'll, let's play a few games, And if the glare off the metal is irritating, we can't see the sea lane, right?

    You told your wife to go to bed while you're partying in the basement. Man, that's risky for her. You are not wrong, but she is the one that has to tend with a six-year-old for 14 hours, and it's a six-year-old who has not been able to hang out with her friends or go to school, so she is at the point, like, we, it's going on, I think, three weeks of quarantine, and the first week was okay, the second week was awful. Right here in the Velociraptor area, the pit, there's a target all the way in the back that triggers whether or not you hit the back. And that was getting jammed up on a rubber next to a post just to the left of it. Right? Like, right... The post is, like, right in there. so it got jammed up and anything my daughter did when she was playing, because I had no idea it got jammed up like that, normally it jammed the other way where it got jammed and it wouldn't trigger no matter how hard you hit it but when she started playing she would hit the flippers and it would start registering a raptor jackpot so Zoe got into raptor multivol like two or three times a ball and she had a ball, absolutely loved, fell in love with Jurassic Park because she was like constantly in multiball and she really felt like she was achieving something in the game. Within about 20 minutes of her being in constant multiball, she calls me over and she starts trying to explain to me the rules of the game, which she doesn't understand at all, but she felt like she was a master at pinball because she had hit that same achievement level years before she should ever have gotten there and it was so much fun for her.
