Hey everybody, I'm going to show you how to install the Dead Ring today, our latest mod from the Spooky Factory. Step one is you have this box here, you're going to open the tape with your magical mind powers like that. Alright, it's cut open. We're going to open up the box and the first thing you're going to find on the top here is this little bag of hardware. So in it you have your harness, you've got the board that you're going to need to drive this bad boy, and you've got the screws. You're going to need a quarter inch drive on a drill to install this. First thing we are going to start with then is installing this board up in the head here. So I'm going to go ahead and get that ripped open. Just this nice, super simple little board right here. I'm going to open up my little Ziploc bag and grab my screws as well. And then we're going to go up into the head and show you how to install this.

Okay, so we're going to install the board. I like to install it with the words on the left side. I find that easier to read. And I'm simply going to install this next to the computer as we're going to be jumping over from the lightboard to this. So I going to go ahead and just get my screw lined up push in reinstall And you not don over tighten it don drive it you not trying to send it through the back of the head or anything like that You just getting it nice and snug and tight and preferably keep it straight too

There you go. Okay, so the next step is going to be for our harnesses and this board. So we're going to take the number two harness, which is your speaker kit. It should be labeled number two. You can also read right here that it is your speaker kit. You're going to take that. You're not going to install it at the bottom. You're going to install it one up from the bottom. Reason being, we're going to want to use this down there later. The next step from those two harnesses you have in your Ziploc bag, you have a very long one, a very short one. You're going to take that very short one, going to install it in that number two spot that we just took out, and you're going to plug it in right above the harness that you just plugged in right there. Now we are set to go ahead and take our super duper long harness here. We're going to get that plugged in in this bottom spot and begin running it to the bottom of the cabinet. So plugging into the bottom most spot here and then we are going to run the whole length of this down Now you have options I recommend running this down loose and free and then tidying it up after the fact so you can see what makes sense to zip tie to You know I think a lot of people want to tuck it into this tube so you don have loose wires kind of everywhere I just think a lot of people don't like that and I don't like it either. So I recommend running this all down in and tidying it up after the fact.

Flip the display up. You're going to grab your plate field and pull it up, not in the full service version, but up onto the rails. So you have your harness here now and our goal is to take the very end of it as this is what's going to plug into the board and you're just going to sneak it right through the screen opening right here just like that. So, next, take the last, most special piece out of your box, the dead ring itself, so that you can plug that fancy little harness we just ran right into it. So I gonna take this and then if I reach down I have that harness It very easy to just pull out plug in to the position on here Oh probably should plug it in in Make sure you plug it in in So it's now plugged in. You can actually attach this to the bottom of your game. I'm going to just recommend the harness side towards the head and back of the game. And this is the most easy install that you're going to do for anything mod-wise ever. These are four magnets. You're just going to slap this on the bottom of your cabinet to the T-nuts that are holding in our sub. So you get under, and it's going to just grab right onto it for you, and that's it. From there, I come back, and I just pull that harness back through so I don't have a bunch of sloppy wires sticking out underneath the game. And then you're good to pretty much leave that in the cabinet. Like I said, I would run it through my black tubing, zip tie up in any way that you deem is to your standards. Just make sure it doesn't interfere with pushing the playfield in and out of the cabinet. But that is it for hooking up your dead ring. From this point, you just simply turn the game on and it is good to go, fully working, and it's going to light up this game and probably the two games next to it. So enjoy your dead ring.
