happens here the women's bank seven games top four games count on their ticket a lot of incredible players right here and we'll see that action now hello everybody welcome to the stream i'm danielle pick and i'm joined by debra tolman and snow galvin very nice guys we're going to get straight into it the ladies finals has just started and we are going to cedar of magic [Music] is there anything you'd like to say about that i don't know we got there looks like we've got louise and lauren laura and janelle all right we're on player 3 already guys it's very exciting straight into the action starting with the mode so for those of you who may not know who may not have seen um the theatre of magic here actually has soar and roms apologize if i am pronouncing that poorly um and so they've got some changes on it i don't even know where to start but one of the changes is that modes only take one hit to qualify so very exciting very exciting one of the major changes is that the left orbit is a very safe shot it can keep coming back to your right flipper and you hit the left again um and you can keep doing that until you spell theater and get a 50 million uh point hurry up and they've reduced that to ashes by making it a one shot and then you have to hit another meaningful shot to re-light it yeah there you go what are the other changes i have the feeling that there are some other changes that was the big one that was the one that stuck for me because i am that's a huge part of my strategy too everyone's strategy just got blitzed and it's fine okay now we're already on ball too so this is a two ball game everybody and player one so louise who is last year's winner is is already stepping up stronger to the plate so with the sauron roms because i didn't really play this game much in qualifying um what would you go for because since theater the theater hurry up is slightly uh slightly downgraded you know it's not it's not a bad thing to go for once once the arrow would relight for the left i would hit it again um but going for multiball was one of your strongest chances of success i think that makes sense stacking modes of course into a multiball especially since you only need to hit the trunk once uh you can choose the mode before you shoot the trunk with the uh left flipper and then you shoot shoot it into the trunk and it'll start your mode some are better than others if you're trying to go for multiball um it's also worth mentioning that this particular theater is extremely fast playing oh yeah very much so i had a couple air balls to left out lane drain oh i love it it's just price fun just from the strong flippers and how's the tilt set is it not terrible there's a there's a location theater um in columbus uh that you can breathe on heavy and it will tilt um but this one would allow you to whack it if you could good times yeah it's definitely not the worst tilt i've ever experienced in my life i'll give you that i always appreciate that tournament play it's a lot more fun when you can actually use nudging as a part of your strategy definitely yeah that's especially critical in a format like this anytime you have a ticket based system yeah uh you got to make the games far more playable than in a in a single game best game qualifier just wanted to say a big all because we had the locks lit and then drained and then the leftover lane got a ball left to take advantage yes let's get it multiple guys one multiple i'm excited 339 um mill for this game is not a terrible score already not for the one the way this is set up yeah your best bet on this particular theater is also to jiggle like mad once it gets into the out and inlanes because it's really been tending toward going all the way out uh it also looks like uh another modification or setting that they put into the game was the max convo combo value is um 10 million interesting yeah what is it typically do you know uh anywhere from eight to eighty million wow and four million steps uh combos are huge in this game which is the same thing with the theater letters is that you can make those combos but you could do the same thing with the ramps yeah so uh that's something i'm reading now just off tilt form so it's very i'm getting informed by the minute hey maybe someone on the chat also knows how it's pronounced and or knows more about how it works those particular rom edits well and this just seems like a feature adjustment rather than uh rom oh i thought it was a rom thing okay so it's the sauron feature adjustment yeah and so uh so right now um being in the i forget what this mode is called but when she's gonna get straight straight jackets yeah so were theater letters um you know more easily obtained it's a really great one to stack with that because any of the pop bumpers are gonna help score points in that she did good she did get her h now she's got to hit another meaningful shot to re light it oh gosh back into the left outlander the left outline just loves to just drag everything down with it it's been dragging a lot yeah it's hungry and the hocus pocus ball save on this game is that on the right or is it on the left i thought is it can you change that do you like how i actually don't know this game very well i don't play it often either and when i do i just go left orbit so the only thing the only thing i saw is that it gives you like the um it saves your ball if the hocus pocus misses i'm pretty sure exactly yeah which is pretty uh typical for papa dip games uh same thing with the the uh the genie uh tales of the arabian night you know with the shooting star it screws you over she's having a good run [Music] oh beautiful beautiful catch beautiful save just getting some good angles back up onto the flippers using nudging oh well the power guard against that yeah other than i suppose have tried to go for the shot a little bit differently but i don't think we saw that coming it's hard one thing that this tournament has done extremely well is uh keeping flippers snappy even on games that are really chronically prone to um becoming weak over time and so uh ball control can be incredibly even more valuable here just because things are so snappy and and things have been bounce passing really well and i've noticed that i've had to actually do a lot of double flipping to trap up in a cradle as opposed to just being able to hit a flipper up and stopping the ball because they're fast they are also very slow don't go down slow down now here's a question i've got as well did you guys think that the plunger on this game was a little bit hard sometimes at the start that was nice uh plunger was hard on this game yeah i had the feeling like you had to plunge a couple of times sometimes it just wasn't hard enough i don't know if i'm serious yeah it was a little bit weak there you go but it's all good i like that everyone's straight into a mode all right ball lock one i believe we've got what both the mode and balls getting locked here so louise can really expand her lead also she had a beautiful nice lazarus to stay in this ball although i think balsam was still on it was still huge see there's that bounce pass that's the the control that you really need on on these games it's uh that's why she also was she took second in classics last year classics two and won the women's so louise is always an exceptional player straight into multiball there we go straight into jackpot as well very nice nice quick jackpot now hit the trunk keep going open it up again oh that was really rough i don't know trying to get ball control back in all right playing conservatively as opposed to a a last attempt on a jackpot shot it's probably very smart on these fast games definitely nice that was a big move you know yeah only one danger yeah you can see it gives you some some she's got a tea it's always very exciting and we got the mode shot lit good i'm kind of like breath caught up when i'm watching this theater so man it's just so fast very action packed the ball is wild and here we go into a mode got tiger saw there you go pinball there's podcast yeah danielle and also carrie wing did not make the women's finals it was a very intense field of challenging competitors yes no very sad that i didn't make it but we're all good i get to do commentary that is a prize and of itself all right tiger saw those locks looking to get that locked shot i noticed that from the right flicker to the left i just got shocked by the fact that i got trapped ah i love i love when the ball gets trapped like that on theater you do giving you an expression yes attempted sarcasm oh there we go it was released and it didn't go straight down the middle you're curious sarcasm is so pleasant it's hard to know that it is so upbeat we try we try i was late to work today my dog died everything's great very nice okay also with the multiball wow again very very nice so she can shoot the ball right back in from the from the trap door the kick out there um it goes straight for 100 million if you if you make the shot oh and they got it in the grease period which is amazing beautiful and then uh it's just hit the box hit the box at the box it seems that she's employing the strategy for multiball oh hold on to the ball until it ended well there you go now just do it again and do it all again i trust these outlanes less than i've ever trusted outlanders saying man this is exhilarating and uh terrifying to watch all at the same time that was good oh it's so close we're almost here she keeps almost getting it in i think this is gonna be it there we go hut magic i don't know the rules for hat magic is getting out of the box yes it's actually as much as possible yeah it's a great mode to bring into multiball as well because again it's just batch the box true if you're trying to build your locks what is the uh what's the mode with the uh the ramps it's just like levitating woman [] that's the middle yeah is that it middle ramp do you call that the middle ramp i don't know yeah left around center around that thing yeah i like it um good catch yeah bonus can be absolutely huge in this game and and theater letters go to it as well as combos so nerfing that really does affect things because um it can be you can just absolutely demolish the game on bonus nice progression on the mode we're going good jesse i have to agree with you about luis putting on a theater clinic that was beautiful absolutely and you can be building your your lock shots during modes as well so just keep it running when they time out then hit the box hit the box again now you're back in a mode just so everybody's on the same page how do you uh light the locks on theater snow uh you spell magic how does one spell magic on the ramps which is a better clarification of why you would want to choose a ramp mode while you're working towards multiball because you're going to be scoring those points while wanting to shoot the ramp for your first multiball and i have not read the full setting changes i don't know if they changed this or not but you can actually just loop that center ramp uh five times spell magic and um and then that'll light your locks uh for your second multiball you do have to combo the ring offs so you're gonna have to make both of them back and forth beautiful as many as many people really like theater i'm not actually sure that everybody knows that that is how you light the logs eventually they just like they just like like magic i like magic just like you want it to be all are another left outline drain man that left out lane just man [Music] which i believe brings us to player four yes player four last ball oh and she just just edged out lauren we have a louise we have a laura and we have lauren this particular match jesse asks if it's freezing in here so many coats and jackets yes there's no heat in this building and for whatever reason this room is colder than the rest of the building we're cold but definitely when the sun goes down it changes i will say that uh the difference between last year and this year is there's more bodies so it is it's great yeah so love love your competitor because they're keeping you warmer now next year i'm gonna the sharp brothers are fully geared up in their warm warm weather uh cold weather gear i will say that uh now that i'm sitting i'm getting older because i'm not moving yeah i feel like i'm not stressed because i'm not playing and that is the game well done there was your clinic and that is very much what you can expect to see from any of the games that are set to tournament level competition here at indisc it's not it's not your local bar theater it's not your local bar harlem globetrotters it's been intense yeah it's hard it's hard and the tilt's gonna be really tight it's um it's very hard very hard but it's good it's good fun good fun good to be here what's been the most interesting game for you ladies to play this uh this year uh so i i didn't play this bank correct so i was gonna ask you guys what was the most popular like what was the longest queue what uh what had the uh highest bar of entry good question i feel like prospector was always really busy which surprised me because it's an em but um it was really popular again as well yeah iron man of course who doesn't love iron man yeah yeah i mean everything's been pretty pretty busy i mean theater as well yeah let's just be honest everything everyone's playing everything yeah it was compared to other setups that i've seen it was rather even spread for a number i can say that uh grind lizard didn't get as much love high roller casino maybe maybe not as exciting oh okay prospector will be next to everybody it's very exciting i heard it was popular and this game i know the rule set up yes fairly well it's good good game it's funny you get into the mindset of whatever the best strategy is for that game as it tends to be in every location that you play in so for instance theater with the left orbit making the hurry up shot and uh um when that's all thrown to the wind because they've adjusted the settings absolutely so you feel like you know a game and then you come and you find out that your strategy is just out the door everybody just gotta go it's no longer valid and in disk has always been absolutely exceptional at posting all of the changes uh you might not have a lot of time but they are on both facebook and tilt forums so you can read all of the the custom mods any of the software settings and a lot of people a lot of tds don't even do that you know even when it's just a basic setting differently it's like oh yeah it's on hard lock oh okay so what does that mean the information exchange is astounding going on facebook and seeing the detailed layout explanation of all the different um adjustments on the games which i know even just as a td the amount of time that it takes to to organize and get that information out to the people who are coming to the tournament let alone remembering to stick it on a post-it before yeah festivities are underway a lot of effort goes into putting on this show and making an excellent an excellent time for everybody there's always huge improvements every single year how many years have you come snow this is only my second but after last year um i swear that this would be my always i love that be my number one how about for you daniel gosh it's been like three this is my third year or fourth year dad's like it's your fourth year i'm like i can't remember it's been too long too much university it's all crammed into my head i don't have enough room in my brain but it's good and um i think we're getting to houseballs well you had two what's a girl to do exactly play better play oh savage talking to myself here sorry i forgot about it actually every time i've said something about anything on a on a prospector there's some long flights you you two took yes just a little bit just a little bit from auckland to la direct is 12 hours yeah we were about to um we're going to go via fiji but there was a cyclone so we had to go direct but i feel good we're good we made it here in one piece and anyways we are here prospector is here and it's very exciting times so just me or is prospector a little drunk probably just a little bit i think carl's been serving some of the juice to the prospector and here we go starting up so as someone who knows the game debra would you like to get into how you would play the game i would not mind at all and then i think the snow might actually be able to fill in a little bit more of the probably the strategy but what i love to do on this game is go for the left orbit that is the gold bonus um increasing it and it's time to do some drawing on the screen everybody hey that is a huge shot i want to say that it's uh 5 000 automatically every time you hit that switch really um something huge like that um and then the spinners in the middle you can go for here yay remembering my drawing you can hit those spinners and they can light up so either one of them can be lit and give you more points for that spinner and i believe that the pops change which spinner is lit when they get lit and if you keep going for that strategy then up here you've got these rollovers gold rollovers those are the preferred rollovers to increase your gold bonus because that's what you want to do you can get gold or you can get silver and everybody knows the gold is better than silver and then as far as silver is concerned while you can raise your bonus for that here this is also where the extra ball is located so if your extra ball lights you want to go up to that top right i don't know what you want to call that lane but it's all about getting more gold and more silver i'm not getting too drunk and just to triple check my understanding of the game gold's only collected at drain correct i believe so yes there we go and um double it by five and six there you go i learned that that's the other thing that i learned get your five and your six get your five and your six can you mark where the five and the six are look at this i'm gonna do some drawing oh i did drunk drawing this is worse than the thing and five and six there you can get it at either place oh my goodness what do the five and six get you um double gold bonus there you go i clarified gotcha got it that's a beautiful thing i didn't know that really that's amazing oh i i found it out myself to know all right so that center pot bumper you notice that goes in and out depending on switch hits um i believe that the rollovers and also possibly the other pop bumpers determine whether or not that's lit and you want every thousand points in this game um so just one more time for the cheap seats this this shot here is uh a gold bonus cat shot you want to go for that as frequently as possible from the left flipper right there on the tip right there the silver oh also the gold is uh the gold bonus is increased here at these two rollovers it's terrible drawing i apologize and then up above it there is a silver roll over a star rollover target as well silver is also collected at the spinners and in this little shot right there where the ball just went yay that a boogie that left lane true weird that's sad okay so yes um i believe that marks all of the important parts in the play field and five and six double your gold bonus there you go unbelievable who knew danielle knew she knows everything not really i don't know everything about theater let's be honest but we are here and one through six when you get them all is it lights extra ball on the right side when you get it in there and the little and the little nook which is a beautiful thing and on this one we are allowing extra balls yes you are allowing extra balls which i think is very nice very kind agreed if you've gotten that one through six you you've earned it and don't forget the rollovers on the playfield that also advance the gold bonus they're not nearly as lucrative as that left switch and then this is probably this is either something that people pay attention to or don't i'm trying to draw let's see it's not working okay let's try that again maybe yay it's deleted okay so here this section here you can follow along with the bonus as it builds in the silver area and then the bonus after drain and the gold area there which is kind of a bit of fun to do yes the left out lane is starving pinball nerds podcast all right how much of this the spinners in your center worth when they're lit versus when they're not lit i would love to know that i don't actually know but i know that was very satisfying to hit a lit spinner yeah so they light when you max your silver bonus advanced silver bonus when lit oh and it's possible is it just then advancing the silver bonus when lit and when it's not lit it's not advancing anything it's skipped a player oh no oh no we might have oh the ticks are yating and ticks uh we uh we had this issue during qualifying yeah did we it was just randomly switched to a player two on ball four even though uh there was no player two entered it was just right skipping around it was a little bizarre so it says it's on player one right now what playerhead meant to be going well i don't know now we'll have to sit here and be entertaining yes um so tell us more about these earrings are really please jessica makes three different sort of categories these ones are the pop bumper ones are they light heavy talk to me oh no they're light right right yeah they're keen oh that's not bad no yeah but are are the uh are the the hooks hyper hypoallergenic that is a good question i'll have to ask her yeah because i want something well it would be easy enough to switch them out yeah yeah if you absolutely need it too cool yeah there's a guy in portland who does the the etching of them and then she puts in the hardware for all of them nice yeah she makes some 420 friendly ones and some golden girls ones that don't necessarily have to match can i find out what the uh the golden girls jessica like connection is just fans of it i think it's sort of one of the quintessential themes that comes up on every list of themes that might appeal more to women than yes than your typical audience of of dad rock and i don't know if this is like so politically incorrect to say but i i know like i don't know like golden girls is always something that friends of mine who happen to be gay or bisexual males they love golden girls they cannot get enough of golden girls and i respect that oh no okay but just not familiar enough for the show to to be in it with them there you go guys just got the notification that player 4 will get a compensation ball after the game is has concluded okay good to know and there's a question is soft plunge going to be at golden state oh if jessica was here i would ah unfortunately not maybe maybe someone who's in the know is also on the stream right now who can answer that question all right let's get some silver let's get some gold gold guys what are we getting just very nice i'll tell you what satisfying when you hit the gold shot and then it goes into the like little rock extra ball yes this is a secret flow game who knew it's weirdly flowy oh down the outlet if you can find them yeah yes you can't hesitate and it's not possible on every prospector but this one's fast enough that it will give you that yeah um anything slower and it would just drain into the pops every time yeah that just for the for the fun of it that's the shot we're talking about that's very fun oh that was a straight down little time is a wholesome payout see if you come first you can come to new zealand on fiji airways you can buy one return ticket i really wanna no it's you know like i'm not gonna lie it's expensive to come to this tournament guys it was 350 dollars for two people to get in the door before we even paid for any of the tournaments that were they're participating in and they don't let you bring in your water now we're talking about money woes guys oh my gosh but look at this this is a magnificent championship that has pulled some of the most incredible players from all over the world who have paid to get spinner it is a benefit i know so many people who metaphor with him already on to player two my day is nothing but a left out lane drain water food guys oh my goodness okay this game is quick it's brutal um as maureen said and i i really meant it about the hang time bonus this is the hang time bonus the blue blinking light up top there the yellow squibble is so she just ripped her lit hang time bonus spinner and the spinner is this is the hang time bonus spinner to read oh she had a post and then it the post just doesn't like it there's no rubber on the poster there's no rubber you have to be ready for it and just give it a little a little extra angle so is the hang time bonus worth more seriously relatively than the multiball explain to us uh you'd i mean you want to do both um luckily to light the lock it's also up top so yeah you can try to do both at the same time as it's gonna be better i had a sweet spot shot and then it changed as the day progressed and the plunger changes a little bit with over with use yeah whatever i mean it's just whatever's lit go for it just straight for it um do we know like so what is the hang time bonus worth does it light the spinner is that what you're saying it lights the spinner to add to it so you get a certain amount per spin and it's a juicy spinner so if you does it go out after you hit the spinner and you have to re-light for hang time or do it it just stays lit on a timer so you can hit it a second time if you're fast enough so why it's that's why it's blinking yes thank you for explaining that cops also add to half time or hang time bonus yeah they expand it can light the captive ball do the pops increase each spinner value is that that i don't know yeah i know that they do something to improve it like you can go for the pops or the spinner after you hit the hang time target but i don't i didn't i couldn't figure out how much it mattered uh once you start adding to your hang time it starts the timer i know that and i feel like it's it's not i don't even think that we're really meaning to be rude about it but hoops is kind of a hard game to um explain and i know that the balls are being fast maybe we should focus on commentary with the ladies but it's hard because the balls are over as soon as they've begun but she's started her multiball so that we wanna that we wanna maximize 100 so hang time is lit on the timer so a really solid spinner yes just like that beautiful just like that those are points so it's yep it's still lit it's possible to go again but when you're in two ball ideally you're going to lock the both of those see lazarus we got a post we got a that was a post was that the post yes that was the post down lower than you think it is yeah i yeah it looked more like a the fact that it say for a got leave and everyone who knows me knows that i just despise godly ben and the flippers the flippers are actually snappy on this game it's it's it's i agree this is the first scott lee prescription when that happens what do you do cry no no how do you fix it how do you fix it it's hard because sometimes you nudge it and it comes out sometimes it happens sometimes sometimes it's sort of on there and it goes in the in line if you know it it just it's a bit of luck is there a right way and a wrong way to do the nudge there you have to do it sooner you don't want it i'm going to butcher this but bowen karen's is like do you want an in-lane or an outline and the answer is no like you don't want it anywhere near it yeah yeah actually i have been trying to utilize that it's a bit harder on competition games that are higher um on the angle of the game um but yes just don't want to be in there at all so if it's not so tilty that you can't just nudge it straight out of the in i mean outlander forward nudges are always going to be your great recommendation forward and like to an angle sometimes depending on where the rubbers above the slings are it's the angle that i feel like i'm still failing at in my personal um if there if there is a star trek tng in your in your life somewhere um i find that the the sling plastics and the rubbers above those really help with that kind of magic so this is janelle she um she hit a good spinner then she had a great save bumped it out of the outlane inland area she's hitting some nice solid shots this is a good ball yes she wants to rip that earning the points hang time is still lit yeah you can see you can actually see the machine physically jostle every time these players hit it off the wall when it's bouncing midfield which is smart yes yeah you want it to be bouncing up and down as much as possible side to side is yeah side to side is evil very good evil any lock that is lit is a blessing see how those poppers are lock so the way you light it is by hitting the captive ball when it's lit um okay yeah and then sort of like no it lights the shrug shot i don't know how else to call it it's like you're backhanding this it's just a pit by the flipper bone would be absolutely correct about this one not wanting to be in the lanes yeah just completely away from everything on this game um the most interesting aspect the rollovers here and here um that when you hit the rollover you can do fun things that rotate on a line here um the options rotate and one of them is to light a spinner at which point you get maximum pointage yes and that's what we really want to see here all three spinners on this game are juicy juicy yes the term rip the spinner never meant more also you want to get your bonus x up early tournament is how fair the games are they play really fair and so uh it's still intimidating you know it's the ticket system but um but they're giving you a chance it's like you know got a shot that's a good point too in a lot of pump and dump tournaments you see maybe rubbers come off the tilt's extremely tight because they want to get the next player on but these games are fair you have to the challenge is being able to in the main be able to do it for five consecutive games doing it i actually thought that there was only four on the ticket because i've been doing classics and you know the the um ball can come out of there quite mean sometimes but you shoot it once too probably your best bet spin the slots if you spin the slots twice at your slots finished so there's a lot i probably shouldn't go into this much detail but i don't care what's your number one the thing that you want to do on this so i would say if you can get slot multiball like go ing you're doing good so all you got to do is just keep heading up into the slide yeah so you spin your slot once um it finishes it comes back down it goes down to the flipper and then maybe down the drain if you're unlucky and then um the ramp this ramp actually moves so currently this slot's been spun and the ball is actually sitting in there that's the reason it's going to articulate up and down yeah it's going to come down now there comes the ball and the lock is up and around the ramp and it sits in here i tried not to draw across the screen there's a lot of what warps happening because why not so you see here comes the lock oh they're locked she's trying for the woodwork she's really trying now she's in the bang bangs so yes so you need to get two locks so you need to spin the slot twice to get both of your locks and then multiball just actually is another slot shot you don't need to lock it again so there you go there's a lot of information in there you guys all got that right oh of course just for the there are some real shots in this game that just reject it either straight down the middle or straight down the sides but um yeah if you can if you can get your multiball going you're off to you're off to a nice nice healthy thing because um in the multiball it's fun i actually like it so you it's sort of and it seems like you can get progress toward other stuff while you're in multiball i literally everywhere like i don't often see people saying hello from hungary and slovenia in the same day seriously that's exciting it's like uh it's like we're at a big deal kind of tournament here or something just a little bit this is and what was it there's a thousand dollars payouts to first place today in this tournament um so i'm gonna say 700 with second place 400. yeah uh big money in the 2000 right now it's huge we had cash 64 competitors for the women's is that right 65 and these are we're down to the top eight um what's also amazing about the card that was amazing what's interesting and i think maybe what's good about the card format is that you can have so many people playing and yet you don't have like in a pump and dump scenario where everyone's just trying to play as many games as possible because that's your best chance you've got people slowly choosing and deducing which game to play next and there's a lot more space to actually step up to bat and play again which i thought was a great aspect of this tournament i have never been in one that is this particular style the card style have you guys played in the cardstock tournament only my second one yes northwest pinball championships in seattle is same format just scaled down and they they also introduced to high stakes this year on the women's bank yeah um but the only difference being the classics was a ticket instead of card so you paid per game right okay so you'd buy like a bundle of 10 and play 10 different classics games so you can sort of get the flexibility that i was gonna say i especially like when you've got an opportunity to do two different things nothing but card play on all of these banks is actually very stressful so you have to start to commit what i ended up doing that helped my brain space was do a game on one card and women's and then dip over to classics and just try to so i don't hyper focus on that one card yeah see i should have done that oh sorry just interrupted because i just saw something the person who asked if i'm still playing nah bro i i got i was under the cut line by one woman's and i don't even want to like yeah i'm not i'm not um any sort of way about it she is a rock she's a bastion of emotional like you can't you can't get inside this this is a shell rock solid exactly so it's cool um i cried in my car i i cried in public that was very embarrassing okay i didn't i didn't cry in my car but instead i just felt crappy for hours i should have just cried in my car and got it over with yeah that's what i should have done oh this has been helping my mood tremendously yeah this is exciting to hang out and sort of talk about that thank you and we can cheer on our uh our fellow competitors yeah and it's nice to see them playing as i mean everybody they're playing amazing he's playing very well um julie dorster's hello is danny still playing she's danny's here um well we're playing in classics and open and you look fine looks like we have moved on to grand lizard and tiger fly to be determined i don't know yet to answer your question so this is the third game for these four players [Music] anna at four points lauren at one point yes mine at four and louise at five so it is a tight grouping lizard cool top two will move on to the finals ah i do love this game yeah it's it's um so system eleven makes me real uh what can you do i like the uh i like some balls stealing on this that's always good fun this has got a uh ball stealing it's like you played this game before oh just a little bit so it's i was gonna say it's my go-to game in the system 11 world champs hashtag spawn uh but not really i don't my dad thrashes me on this game every single day can't even talk about it but i love it it's good to multiply your mom very nice my mum i i don't know you could ask her about it and out of multiple yeah in the mountains you can do a nice backhand from here though potentially you say nice i say no thank you i was not able to find it when i was playing grand lizard earlier they put a big old rubber next to it makes it very tight oh nice tap of that magnet just enough to get it out of danger not too much to use at all yeah the the flashing lights above the slings that tells you how much magnet time you have yeah so those bonus buttons you can tap them for just like a little slingshot or hold it down to hopefully hold it directly up well now that's some more often than not it it is what happens it just sort of flings it i love when it flings it straight into the outlane and you just feel like the absolute biggest just like oh i did this to myself yeah i made a choice and i'm living with it i just have to back into multiball hey huck thank you hey to silver fox 3 3 3 2 3 3 3 2 3 as you can tell by the display yes anna has been playing some very commanding games in this card um what i like about what i've been liking about her style is that there's a lot of pushing and forward nudging on the machine and i like that in-disc has given again given us the opportunity to actually nudge yeah it's nice that's a huge part of what makes a player competitive oh that was ah well handled neat yeah see we got the now i must say and my games that i've played especially in like multiple stuff not only is the spinner worthwhile and the bonus hold over when you get in but i'm surprised by how much bonus was like actually a big deal when i was playing which is very nice well and the lizard targets are relatively easy to hit yeah so there's no reason not to go for those way early yeah just a little bit and so that's liz and then yep but completing all six gives you your bonus x which carries over lizards gotcha uh one other thing i was trying to to do and i'm not quite finding it uh is the upper left orbit from the little upper play field okay combo into the lock release is worth a chunk of change 100k it's worth it it's worth a fair amount the timer is really short you have to hit it immediately so yeah yeah so you do a little a little loop and then it flashes on the lock shot the lock release over here yeah right right yeah so you'll see a little purple flashlight against this one yeah like that so there's you could play this entire game in the upper play field and still get several million points still want to go for for locks if you can but oh my gosh yeah sorry i just got uh the drain the drain paint it hurts physically physically in my all right louise is in a great position going into this but it's she's not safe i do not believe that the players are allowed to choose the same game oh uh in in concurrent rounds not within the same league yeah no not at all okay just you don't get to you gotta choose something different okay oh i will say the flippers on this one are nice and strong ramps very clean to hit uh right orbit how do you feel about that lock shot i spent a lot of time not making it i felt not even once about it yesterday yesterday i was like it's good we're good we can do it we can get a clean backhand today i was like whoa what are we doing what's a lock but um you can get a nice backhand when you can find it the position she's gonna go for it boom nice that was a heat of a draw wow this game is dark yes it is dark cardboard live it is a little dark see it's the camera's fault see oh i can't believe you haven't made another camera even if it goes reverse if it goes from the upper play field around down there it still works just has to go through i it sucks when it comes down there on this particular grand lizard it's just right it doesn't feed very nicely but i've seen a lot of people have minimal luck with the center feet as well so it's like all fees are bad fades just keep it in the at the top you're not yeah yeah oh it's got a full value there so if she can finish off her targets she was going she did go for that combo too yeah she did it's nice and dude that lock on this particular game impossible to hit from the right flipper yeah i've i quickly stopped trying to do that yeah you try it once and you're like oh no i mean sorry but you can't no i mean look at how beautiful he wants you to hit it it's so inviting you think that you're safe uh looks like she had her outlines lit for more points more bonus all right just decided very very solid just to say the chat the game does not look as dark as it caught it with a save and then it just kicked it out and um the answer to it was no so when the ball goes down the in lane either the in lane it lights the mystery on the opposite ramp so if my balls say let's let's put it in perspective if my ball goes down the left in lane i shoot the right ramp for mystery i think it's a mystery squad [Music] we did an upseat yes um i think it's just worth some points i don't know how much it is um to try to go for the lock shot now if somehow that had gotten into the lock i would have been dumbfounded i i did manage it once and that's the only time i would never ever do it again oh not on purpose dude also the like feed from those rams can be real hard to catch up top range but it's a bit just to catch it before it comes back down again yeah it can just go straight fast and a perfect lock shot very nice she dialed it in dialed in that's in the main bank haha we didn't get to say goodbye to marine is she coming back no she's coming back she's just having a five-minute break and i'm about to take a five minute break afterwards because i guarantee you've got to get the teeth gonna get the because um water the water the hydration has been a bit you can also do a third lock here so i wonder if she'll go for that because sometimes it bounces out or at least on our one at home risk reward risk reward so how do you do two two locks versus three locks so no no it's always two but you can um to start multiball you can do the another ball into the lock shot and the locks are going to be there yeah so you can get three into there's the multiball start yes so you can do that for either one ball and the lock shot or two ball in the lock shot um yeah then the third one and then just starts multiple a three ball so and it seems like she was going well it seems like she was trying to go up top just to get it started it's it's worth it because sometimes on some games at least on the ones i've played if you try to get the lock shot again for the third one start multi multiball it's like it can bounce out it can be a bit nasty it can be a bit bit nasty all right this car i think i don't know what carl's carl's gone oh no he's over there he's not sure i like it yeah yeah that that uh regrettable nudge when you feel like maybe you shouldn't adjust flipper solenoids are powered by god himself no kidding stop trying to make fetch happen you can backhand it yes but there's one moment of the reject is way harder exactly like just rattles out wrong it makes me nervous yeah i could do it from a trap i did not like trying to do it on the fly that was a very impressive go to get that shot oh beautiful dialed in okay the tortoise is here we're going to see some more multiple you see this is the tortoise not the hair yeah you got to take it necessarily nuts making some concerned noises on the chest uh yeah we've seen a lot of that coming out of the right orbit uh hitting the the right sling okay even out of that scorecam went out for a second we still have the score bit scores underneath the player names so you won't miss out on any yeah who's ahead action nice little slap save yeah i'm still not used to being able to see those scores right there [Music] nice all right i know that there was some work done to kind of nerf the left orbit spell theater all day but i feel like the feed is friendlier well it's friendlier than it was during qualifying i think as it comes around it was not always hitting the top of the right sling into left out lane if you had a good nudge on it yeah that's nice still not worth it for during qualifying i would nudge that and it just seemed to make it worse yeah it's from the side you don't think it it's ooh a nice little magnet up there beautiful nice and i think she's trying to get control to get back into the multiball just taking a breath all right starting an illusion take it take it [Music] this is the illusion i like to have when my locks are already lit because then you years we just had our six year anniversary and um [Music] we just had our tournament for february unfortunately the women's worlds is going to be running during our march one so to have someone take over it'll be oh but it could be a watch party everyone can cheer you and hannah and anyone else who's qualified to think um justina and brooke might qualify yeah um but it is a blast it's a it's like a little reunion every month that's great getting a signal from carl we're almost set up to give away the trophies for the women's final today to recap yes yeah we just had a killer tiebreaker in people then no it's it's it's it's not is it it's not not to be confused with this classics target match play tournament that occurred on thursday there's so many events running concurrently this year is the year where i'm going to have all the terminology locked locked in um so yeah it's just bracket play so yeah top two from each group move on until there's only four people left tell us about the people uh oh yeah so oregon is doing something fun this year we are doing an oregon women's state championship we were actually inspired by ohio last year um yeah yes oh all three of us have women's championships to play in so we're doing that the day after state champs and five or six of them playing playing in state championships and then getting a chance to play in the state finals and winning but i wouldn't have had that opportunity if someone hadn't stepped up to the plate and actually created and i'm really excited about us expanding that into an official capacity yes for 2020 and the
