and the four-man pinball podcast kind of kind of came up on my radar and i started listening to them and i thought well it's not as rich in like pinball knowledge but it's really damn fun i find myself laughing more than i do with anyone else and it's just such an enjoyable experience to listen to these guys all right welcome to the poor man's pinball podcast episode 120 we have a fantastic show for you guys today I have two very special guests in studio. They're not really in studio, but I'm staring at them on my computer screen. I can't wait to introduce them. This is going to be a fantastic show. We are going to get back to some fun Poor Man's Pinball stuff, as in we have some guests, we're doing some fun things, we're talking about absolutely nothing, and it is going to be fabulous. So without further ado, my two guests today are the hosts of Poor Man's Pinball Network, tribe member multiball, Rachel Risto and Tim the Turtle Two Arts. He's got all these nicknames. Tim the Tuna Man, Tim Lee. How are you guys doing? Hey! Hey! It's actually just tribe multiball, Drew. He apparently doesn't listen. All of those words that just came out of my mouth, I knew some of them were not going to be correct. Close enough. Close enough. How are you doing? Rachel, why don't you correct me? What is the name of your podcast? Tribe Multiball. With? Tim and Rachel. All right. Love it. Or Tribe Multiball with Rachel and Tim. You know, I think you said backwards or forwards each time, depending on how you say it. We still haven't sorted it out. How many episodes have you guys done? 29. 29, yeah. 28 or 29, yeah. if you guys haven't listened to it yet do yourself a favor go out listen to it it's a great show but before we get any further into this guys what are you drinking today i am drinking believe it or not a genesee cream ale it's really the first time i've had it i love cream ale especially if it comes from a microbrewery couldn't find any and amy we were in the local pizza shop and she's like there's a cream ale and it's genesee and it's actually really good so i'm enjoying it i'm having a corbel extra smooth brandy with diet dr pepper oh man i watched i watched race rachel pour that before we started and it was a stiff one oh yeah the only way i like it that's what she said i knew i knew it was coming that's also what she said uh i am drinking uh topo chico you guys seen these these are uh hard seltzers yes my wife didn't like them so as she says i always drink her rejects topo chico hard seltzer signature margarita so a little a little light today not uh not mixing them up but uh no just a little something so that's okay that's what i'm on relax and unwind yes yes it's one of one of them days yeah so uh getting back into the nuts and bolts of what we're doing today uh we got a little poor man's personal news which we're going to share shortly rachel's got a couple things about her pinball playing that she wants to share with the world uh tim lee's tim lee's got a little hypocritical story that he's gonna tell and uh i got a couple little things about my basement and a little surprise for Rachel and Tim. So we're also going to discuss a toy story. Everyone kind of talked about today. Jersey Jack kind of released a little, I want to say a teaser video. It wasn't really about the game, but we'll, we'll, we'll go into that. I think it's kind of interesting. We'll, we'll, we'll give some, uh, shoot, shoot, shoot some shit about the pricing and what we think is going to happen with the toy story release. That's coming any day. now. Tim Lee's got a lot of opinions about this. Him and I probably sent 500 messages to one another today. It was fun. We haven't done this in a long, long time. We are going to induct a new tribe member. Woo! All right. Yep, because Tim and Rachel need more content for the show. Yeah. Tim Lee's the only reason. We were just starting to catch up. No, no, all jokes aside, though, we have a fantastic induction today. We're going to induct this person at the end of the show, and I think it's going to be amazing. This person is a great pinball ambassador. So without further ado, poor man's personal news. Ladies first, what do you got going on today, Rachel? Rachel Risto sucks at pinball. We can stop the show right there. That was gold. That was perfect. Go ahead. Oh, man, I've been riding the struggle bus. Do this thing where I'm just, I have a rough time. Last time I played league, it was seven rounds. I took four fourths out of that. That was horrible. I had two firsts and two seconds. I think I had 21 points of that. It was awful. I don't know what's going on with my brain, but I had a lot of fun. The thing is, I laughed a lot. I did a little live video in the tribe group because I thought, you know, if anybody can commiserate with me, I know my tribe folks will. um that's it I'm just sucking at pinball but you know that I think I uh sometimes as a player you go through ups and downs and maybe I'm just going through a downswing right now maybe I did a bunch of learning my brain's processing but it's frustrating when you don't play well you know I do I'm a goal-oriented competitive player so there's certain things I want to do so I wonder am I getting myself in my own way am I getting myself in my own way of achieving that I don't but the most important thing there too is that i'm laughing having fun i'm still learning something and i'll tell you the best part about playing so terribly at district 82 when there's 75 players is that you play at the very bottom which means you get to meet new people like meaning like the people that aren't like they're brand new to pinball i get to meet them so that was actually fun last night getting to i showed uh showed off some skills on dolly and some other games how to play them it's just nice getting to meet people that way so no matter how you look at it it's still a fun time but man i just want to have like i had a really good game on melody but i just want to have like i want to take a first i want to take a second in my league i want to have a big a big fat whopper night but yeah we'll get there i've got time that's it i'm just sucking that pinball but again like it's that is a downswing and maybe i'll come back around we'll see guess what you can you can try again tomorrow that's right absolutely and i did not play today but maybe i'll definitely be playing this weekend always practicing every game's a practice game anyway right you're always learning you're you're you're better than 98 of the tribe we have to have a tribe uh at some point we need to have a tribe tournament i think that would be so much fun who i think we discussed this before who is the highest ranked person in the tribe me in the ifpa is it you oh yes oh look at you i'm pretty sure actually who's grovesner i think i'd actually have to look up his ifpa but i think it's me so real super conceited there but oh look at that it's just like it's just like a pinball but i'm the best yeah i'm in the top i'm currently in the top 500 and i think i'm currently ranked 17th woman overall so that's good but i gotta be in the top 16 man i want to play that woman's world poor man's pinball network and the tribe are incredibly proud of you rachel you kick ass i know i got all the love i always i have my tribe coin in my pocket quite often when i play and that always helps me helps me to feel positive anyway even if i'm talking with my friends tim and drew and and rachel did a little facebook live yesterday that i jumped in on she's in the back of district 82 and she's like i suck at pinball and it was a terrible day and you know you gotta be more positive there rachel oh but i was laughing and i know no it was it was good it was a good time thank you i appreciate that you know no we all got your back we always support you we might make fun of you in the process but we're gonna support you i have no problem that's what the tribe does i love you guys yeah i love you all right what about you tim what's going on in tim's world you know not a ton i did buy a new machine um i'm sure you're shocked wait let me let me put on my shocked face here what see what i i didn't plan on it but my my good friend chris myers from helicon brewery and starport amusements called me up and said he had a transformers for me and i've been chasing chasing transformers for three years at first i listened to everybody as to how bad of a pinball machine it was. And, you know, I played the pro wasn't a big fan. Everybody has heard me say the Transformers is my dream theme. Transformers 1984. So he called me up. I had been playing one in a tournament in State College, but that business closed down and I started to really like it. And I, you know, I started to tell Rachel, I don't know why I never bought this machine. I really liked the limited edition. So Chris actually ended up buying the machines from this location and called me up and said, hey, I know you wanted the Transformers, and I will sell it to you. And we made a deal, and I went down on Saturday. I didn't plan on it. I picked it up. I've probably only played 10 games on it because it's actually really popular with my kids and their friends. That's awesome. They have been playing it a lot. I think the theme and the sounds are really good. I don't necessarily like the corny music that plays with it. They don't have any of the themes from the movie. But just the sounds and the robots transforming are kind of cool, so the kids really like it. It's simple. It's got really neat mechs, so all the kids are into it. And that's literally all I did with Pinball, but I do have to eat crow on something that Drew alluded to. On our last show – You forgot to alert. Yeah. On our last show – I want to interject about Transformers before you do. Oh, yeah. Go. Is it Transformers LE? Yes. That's such a pretty game. It's really, really, really pretty. A very, very pretty game. And you know what? I don't think Transformers is a bad game. When I first started playing pinball, that game was at Updown. I think it was just a regular game, not an LE. But it's so much fun to play. The lock shots are fun. And bashing the toys are fun. It's a really cool game, Tim. So I'm really happy, yay, that you got your favorite theme and you got Transformers. I'm excited about that game. And I'm not always so excited about all the other really cool games you get from your, you know, operator friend Mike, right? Yep, operator friend Mike. I almost said Steve, but I'm not going to say him right. Operator friend Mike. You're so lucky you get all those really cool games. But, man, I'm super stoked for you to get your Transformers. So congrats, man. Yeah, I jumped on it right away. I love Transformers. Like I said, cool mechs, cool sounds. Just a neat game. And it is pretty. It's actually a really pretty game with the powder coating and so forth. but my hypocrite alert from drew is on the last tribe multiball i made this public service announcement about not pin shaming people and my buddy kurt kept tell it sorry tell our audience what is pin shaming so pin shaming is when you get a new machine and immediately somebody says something negative about it like i got a transformers drew would say ah that game sucks right you know and it happens every time i get a game it happened one time on transformers but everybody else had good things to say so my buddy kurt kept i'm not going to say the machine because i don't want to insult people because i feel bad about this but he got a new machine but he kept asking me if i liked it and i kept telling him no no no before he bought it he's like what's your opinion in the machine and he sent me a picture of it and i said congratulations on buying one of the five worst machines ever made. And then like God shined a light upon me or something. And I'm like, oh, my God, I just pin shamed Kurt. So I told Rachel this morning, actually, Rachel and Glenn and I had a conference call at like 7 a.m. And I told them about it and they're like, you got to apologize. So I called Kurt, who could care less that I pin shamed him, to apologize. I'm like, man, my co-host and friend said that I have to apologize. And I did pin shame him. So I'm a hypocrite. Public apology to Kurt for bashing on his machine that he got. That's not my style. But it was funny because it took five seconds for me to realize what I just did. Well, I'm proud of you for making it up, Tim. Yeah. I'm not perfect. Almost perfect. You pinched Freeman SOB. Oh, my God. That's freaking wonderful. But what else? Do you have any other personal pinball news for the week? No, that's it. Jonathan Hall is right now sending me a message whenever he listens to this to tell me I pin shame him every day. But that doesn't count. That doesn't count. We pin shame each other. That's just another day in the tribe. Yeah, yeah. No. What about you, Drew? Well, me. So I've been busy. I've been busy doing all kinds of things. And as promised, I got a little surprise for you guys. So I'm sending something to your phones right now, never seen before. I've been getting the basement ready, and I ordered myself a nice, nice sign. And I wanted to get your guys, Rachel, laughing. Rachel, do you want to share what you're looking at with the audience right now? I looking at this really interesting wooden round sign it a top of a whiskey barrel by the way I was wondering if it was the top of a whiskey barrel And it two hands holding a couple of steins of beer clinking the mugs And it says, poor man's pinball, Center Post Cafe, established 2021. No tilt bobs here. It's actually really nice. And it's fantastic. It's a really nice custom sign. Like I said, it's made on an actual whiskey barrel top. And it got delivered today. And I was like, oh, this is perfect. So I stuck it on the wall. It is the basement is now officially dubbed the Poor Man's Pinball Center Post Cafe. Yeah. And that is all thanks to you guys. Congratulations. Yeah. It is the Center Post Cafe. No, there's nothing wrong with that. Like my buddy Wayne with an H said, you know, there's nothing wrong. Everybody needs a little training wheels. A little training wheels. So I will post these pictures up on the Poor Man's Fan page. I just thought it was great. It was a nice little touch. I'm just having fun with the basement. New games are coming in. Old games are leaving, which reminds me, yeah, I've done a lot. So Ghostbusters Pro, I ended up trading for a Lord of the Rings. I think that was a pretty solid trade, right? Great trade. So, yeah, fantastic trade. And then, because I have all these games coming, Mandalorian premiums coming in two weeks from Flip N Out Pinball, Carl, Zach, and Nicole, Flip N Out Pinball, I sold my Simpsons. What? My beloved Simpsons machine is gone. Wow. My jaw dropped when I saw that one posted. Yeah, well, it was one of those things where the prices have gotten so out of hand. and I just said, I love this game, but I don't love it as much as X number of dollars. Right? Right. Like, you know, I just couldn't pass it up. So someone from Chicago came. He let me – we negotiated. I kept the color DMD because I put it in the Lord of the Rings, right? So I put the old DMD back in the Simpsons. He wanted it for his kid. He paid me pretty handsomely for it. And he came with a stack of $100 bills. I hope they're not fake. and um you know uh so there you go yep so i uh i kept i kept mousing around um well i didn't keep it i um mousing around still up for sale so believe it or not i've had a lot of interest in it but nobody's like wanting to come to purchase it it's really bizarre how much is it now i'm down to 2800 bucks it's a steal man i'd actually i might consider that all right Because I really, really, really love that game. I really love that game. It's a fun game. It's so much fun. It's a fun game. Yeah. I just need the space. It's funny because I think it says steal. It is. You want to trade for Demolition Man with a little cash on top? Yes. I might actually do that. Okay. Let's work that out after the show. Because I'd be happy. You could bring Mousin around and go home with Demolition Man. Perfect. Okay. Okay. Awesome. Does it come with a center post? No, but, you know, we can find a kit for him to install one. It comes with three posts, one in the center and two in the outlanes. I want to hear about that. Let's talk turkey about that later. Yeah, yeah, no, that's fantastic. I've always wanted a demo man just to play around. No, that would be perfect because I have room now. I just know down the road I won't, so it's not. But, no, that's great. We'll definitely do that. So anyways, no, go ahead. No, I get a 6% commission for being here. Oh, man. That is steep. Can I get a box of cheese? Perfect. I'll take it. I'll take it. Okay, all right. I'll get you some cream ale and a case of cheese. Works for me. Amazing. And a couple of dad jokes. Yes. So that's what we have going on. No, that's it. Other than that, I've been working a lot doing my thing, but I'm really excited now that summer's here because obviously I want to be outside, and I will be. But when we have people over, then they can come downstairs, play some games, and it's a great time. So yeah, that's my poor man's personal pinball news. Anyone else have anything they want to add, or should we move right along? Well, I got to say one thing. Sure. So, Rachel, I usually get a little bit of feedback on each episode, friends or family, or somebody will send me a note on Facebook from time to time. Say they like the show, they'll make a comment on something or other that we talked about. I'm pretty sure I got 35 messages about us and our game and our inability to recognize classic pinball songs. I'm not making this up you know and you were on a couple of them people pretty much posted on the tribe page that we sucked thanks for bringing that up yeah you guys were terrible on that if you guys don't know what they're talking about in one of their most recent episodes who was the guest that was Andrew Payne Andrew Payne was on and he had them get he had 10 audio snippets I think they were what 3 seconds long from pinball machines and music and he would play the snippet and they would have to guess what game it was and you guys got what one right or none got one right and that's because I owned it and I got zero so out of ten snippets they got exactly one right between the both of them he was the first one to reach out and send a message about it it was kind of funny he got all ten Yeah, he got all ten. Of course he did. Yeah. I listened to that episode, and I think I got, like, two. So, yeah. No, that was tough. That was tough. It was. Yeah. I'll give you a little insider info, too. Andrew is such a nice guy. At the end of the segment, he's like, yeah, you two don't have to use that segment. I won't be upset. And I said, no way. It is going in. I said, it is the funniest thing we've recorded in a long time. No, no, that was good. Do yourself a favor again, guys. Go listen to Try Multiball because it is. Yeah, that was fantastic. And there was a there was an audio snippet, too, that I'm hoping to I'm going to send it to you, Tim, to get into this show. Something Andrew said about the poor man. It was just like he's just like all these stupid idiots or something. I think when he was talking about how he got into the tribe and I was like oh that has to go into a future show that's just a little audio because it was gold I'll find it and send it to you I was walking the dogs and I was just laughing hysterically Andrew Payne great job I didn't even reach out to him after that fantastic job man you did amazing on that show So anyways, so should we talk some Toy Story? Sure. Let's talk some Toy Story. This is what I want to do. I have one, two, three, four, five different questions about the upcoming Toy Story release. And I think that we should each give our predictions and then we should discuss it. How does that sound? Are we absolutely 100 bazillion percent sure that it's going to be Toy Story? That's what I was going to ask. No. be we are absolutely not okay but it it no at this point an amazing dream theme no rachel i've been i've been saying that for two years because they've been talking about this for more than two years and um yeah it's going to be a great theme i i don't think it could be anything else at this point but you never know all right you never know yeah i had somebody yeah i'm sorry i had somebody that I really trust. I couldn't even get it out of them. I knew they knew. They just smiled when I asked them. The smile made me think that it's Toy Story. Zach Many has probably known for six months, I would think. You know what I mean? Maybe three months. They know. The distributors know these kind of things. Let's do this. All right. So first question, we're going to start with you, Rachel. When is it going to be released? When is it going to be revealed? I should say not released. Well, they had like a little teaser video today. I just looked at that on JJP on their Facebook, right? They have a little teaser about how to do it. When is it going to be released? Okay. So what's the next big show? Revealed. Revealed. Not released. Not released. When's it going to be revealed? I would say maybe like whatever the next big show is. What about Southern Pride in July? Do you think it'll be there? Fantastic is coming up, right? Pentastic is in, yeah, in Big New Robert Englunds show. It's coming out real soon. Well, maybe they'll do it at Pentastic because if I remember correctly, I was told that they released or they revealed Wonka at MGC when that came out, right? So my guess is maybe they do it at a show. So I guess maybe whatever the next big show is if it's Pentastic. Yeah, that's June 23rd. And I'm writing this down, by the way, so I can rub them in your face later. Okay, you do that. It's either Pentastic or it has to be that or Southern Fried Gaming. When is that? That little book, or that little thing from a little book, the little thing on Facebook, hello, Brandy, you're a fine girl, we're having fun now. But that's my guess, is it's going to be that soon, whatever the next big show is. Fantastic. Okay. What about you, Tim? I am going to say June 17th, in conjunction with the Buzz Lightyear movie being released. Doubt it. Hmm. Doubt it. So you think they're going to do a similar style reveal to Guns N' Roses, right? Like a nice video. Correct. I think it's going to be. And the reason I say that is because on the pinball show, I think it was the pinball show, one of the podcasts said that they used the same company that they used for Guns N' Roses. Sure. Okay. I'm going with next Monday. Okay. Because, well, kind of to piggyback on what Tim said, I mean, obviously they don't have to release it with the movie you know everyone knows the movie's coming out right everyone knows that you know the date of the movie so next week there's going to be a big fever pitch for for that movie the kids are going to be going ape shit right so i think you know monday would be a great day you know monday at you know nine or ten o'clock you know they usually release it in the morning you know and everyone can talk about it throw it on pin side you know, talk around the water cooler or whatever. Um, so yeah, I think, I think next week, Monday, I just think Monday early in the week and, um, you know, they'll, they'll talk about order. So, so going back to what Rachel said about that little teaser video. So for you guys who haven't watched it, if you go to Jersey Jack pinballs, Facebook page, they, um, Ken Cromwell put a little, uh, two minute video up about how you can order CE machines actually through Jersey Jack, which I thought was really interesting because I know they've always kind of done that, but they're allotting, you know, and people were going nuts about this because they said, oh, well, you know, I'm in line with my distributor and Tim Lee, you might be in line for one, huh? Yes, sir. Do you not want to talk about that? No, we can talk about that. So go ahead, talk about your CE. Are you going to do it? You're going to pull the trigger? So real quick story with me and Amy. We have seen every Toy Story movie in the theater the first day it's come out since we started dating. It was one of our first dates and we took my niece who was very tiny at the time. So we're not super crazy about it, but we make sure we go see every movie. Yes. So I swear it was two years ago when I heard somebody mentioned Toy Story. I put myself on the interested list and I don't think, you know, anybody would mind me saying that it might have been three years ago that I'm towards the top of the list. Now, the distributors know that, you know, if what their allotment is now, Ken said that, but I'm pretty sure I'm in a position to get a CE or one of the first limited editions. So I haven't been told for sure, but I've been told it's highly likely because I've been on for a very, very long time. That's amazing, man. Yeah. Um, so yeah, but so Ken Cromwell, you know, put this video up about how you can actually go to their website after they reveal it and you can, you know, put it in your cart and you pay and he says it won't take it out of their inventory until you actually, you know, put in your credit card and pay the deposit. And you got to put a United States shipping address because they're not doing this overseas. If you live overseas, unfortunately, you have to go through one of your distributors. But anyways, people thought, you know, they were getting a little nutty on Penn's side, of course, like they always do. But they assured everyone, yeah, there's certain allotments for all the distributors. They were already told what they're getting. And then whatever's left over, Jersey Jack is selling themselves. So and that's just a first come, first serve. So if you get there and you put it in the cart, you pay your probably $1,000 deposit, and then you're set up. Huh. So – Go ahead. Let me ask your opinion. This is for me. Back to the CE. So if I am at the top of the list of my distributors list, do I go for the CE or do I just go for the limited edition? The CE means I'm going to have to wait a while. maybe not though you don't know we know what they done in the past but we don know what they going to do going forward right The collector edition is more fancy than the limited edition Yes I would get the collector edition Tim especially since you're a fan of Toy Story itself, if it is Toy Story. Since you're a fan of the theme anyways, I think you might as well get everything with all the bells and whistles. And in today's market, let's be honest, getting a CE or an LE at MSRP, you know, your investment is protected, right? Right. For the most part. Because you're not overpaying for it because you're getting it for MSRP, whatever that will be. And we'll talk about that next. Okay. So, yeah, let's just roll right into that. Rachel, what do you think they're going to price the CE at? Astronomical. Well, Guns N' Roses was at $12,500. Okay. Okay, I was going to say at least $12,000. No, hang on. Tim, was it $12,500 or $13,500? I feel like it went up at the end. I feel like it's in the $13,000s. I don't know for sure, but it jumped. It jumped like three times. Call it $13,000 because you had to pay for shipping. I would say a collector's edition is going to be $15,000 all day. Okay, we're writing that down. What about you, Tim? I hope it's not $15,000, so I'm going to say – Oh, yeah, Tim's buying one. I'm going to say I'm going for the limited edition then, but I'm going to say 14,000. 14. Hmm. Okay. Here's, here's my thing on it. There have been lots of rumors today, especially that it's going to be 15. So I'm inclined to think that, but in the sake of doing this and for the show, I'm going to be real honest. My opinion before I heard that today, I thought it was going to go even higher. so I'm actually going to say 16 I wouldn't be surprised and Tim Lee wants one so it's going to be 18 Tim Lee will not pay $18,000 unless somebody wants to take my Godzilla off my hand for $18,000 no I think it's going to be somewhere between 15 and 16 and just for fun what about the Ellie's so now the the guns and roses le's most recently have been selling for like 10 5 to 11 ish for ms 12 you think yep ceb 15 limited edition will be 12 okay and then what's the version after that they're not doing they're just doing those two oh that's almost yeah that's almost a definite Oh, I'd say maybe $13,000 and $15,000 then. $13,000? Yes. Ooh. Do you think they'll go that high, Tim? No, but I'm going to pull a Price is Right on Rachel. I'm going to go $13,001, Drew. Ah! I love that. And I'm going to go Price is Right, and I'm going to say $12,999. Strategy. Strategy. hey this is a family show here uh yeah no no not at all yeah it is lots of family listen fuck fuck bullshit fuck fuck shit um well no i i think that just slipped out yeah i don't think we're far off so let's move along here how about how many are they gonna make because that's been a big topic of debate too right they're gonna be selling these for more money you know they've typically been doing 500 CEs. How many CEs are they going to make, Rachel? 500. 500. So they're just going to stick with what they've been doing? They're going to stick with what they know. Yeah, but Rachel, the market's super hot. There's lots of money out there. Aren't they still making Guns N' Roses games, though? No, they're at the end of that. They really are. Are they making any other games right now? Is that it? My Guns N' Roses was, I was almost number 4,000. I forgot my number, but I'm number like 4,000 out of 5,000. Like collector's edition? No, no, no. I still think. Go ahead. Oh, you mean like overall? No, no, I'm just saying. No, just collector's editions. They've been doing 500. I'd say 500. I don't think they're going to change that because they're just going to jack this. And this is not against Jersey Jack. This is not against Stern or any manufacturer. It just makes sense. It's cost efficient for them. It's in demand. They're still going to make the same amount of games. They're just going to jack up the price. And if you want it, you're going to buy it. Yeah, but why don't they make, well, at that line of thinking, why don't they make more games at a jacked up price? Because then they can make even more money. Because supply and demand of parts. That would be my guess. Hmm. I don't know. Tim Lee, what do you think? I think they're going to follow, start, and go with $1,000. All right. Ooh. Yeah, I think they're going to do what they did with Godzilla and go with a thousand. All right. Drew? I'm going to have to go against my better judgment and agree with Tim here. I think they're going to do 500 Woody additions and 500 Buzz additions. Oh, that's cute. I wouldn't even think about that. Well, that's not my original idea. that's been floated around by a couple people, but I did think with the different characters and stuff that would make a lot of sense. So, you know, who knows? But I think, you know, or maybe they do like 300 and 300 or something. Yeah. You know what? But I think ultimately they're going to try to push that as close to 1,000 as they can. Yeah, they could do what they did on Transformers. They could do like a Woody and then a Buzz and have like this super CE with both of them together and charge somebody like 20,000 bucks. Well, you're not wrong. I mean, look, Stern did it with Batman, right? Stern did it with Elvira. Right. They made these 50 or I think with Batman they did like 80 or something, those super LEs. I mean, the sky's the limit because if you do less than 100, you could sell for any amount of money, 20, 30. 30 grand whatever it is so they might actually do that and i could see that happening but but for the regular quote-unquote ces yeah they're gonna push that thousand i think so maybe because the popularity of the theme yeah and quite frankly i think toy story is a much more popular theme than guns and roses i think so yeah no i'd agree with you it's also much more family friendly like wizard of oz was wonka as well so i think you know i can see that well i don't think Guns N' Roses is as family friendly? No, no, I'm saying all of them except for Guns N' Roses have been family friendly. You know, Hobbit, Diablo, and yeah, Pirates of the Caribbean. Correct. So I think that I don't know, it'll be really interesting to see what they do. Any other thoughts on that, Tim? Because I'm coming up to the most important question. You ready for this one? Yes. Go ahead, yeah. How long will Tim Lee keep Transformers? I think that Tim Lee will have Transformers. I honestly think because it is a dream theme. It's not Transformers 1984, but it's Transformers period. I think that he will keep it for nine months to a year. And that's a long time in Tim Lee's collection. That's a lifetime in Tim Lee's collection. But, you know, Amy Lee, she's bolted that GNR because she really loves it. you know, the theme, all the stuff, and she loves Halloween. So to me, I'm thinking if Tim really, really likes it, maybe he'll bolt it for a while. What do you think, Drew? Nope, Tim's next. What do you think, Tim? It's going to last at least a year. How long will Tim Lee keep transforming? Yeah, at least a year. Yep. See? Yeah, I'll have it at least a year. There's three or four games I would move before it. See? I know you're a host. Much like my wife knows me, I know Tim Lee better than he knows himself. So I'm thinking Tim Lee is going to keep this thing for five months and four days. That's probably my average. I just think that, you know, there's going to be another Stern release in August. there's going to be this toy story, this, this $20,000 toy story that Tim Lee is purchasing. 24. And yeah, 24. Come on, Kim Cromwell. Give me 24. My kids, my kids can commute to college. Come on, Ken. Yeah. Every time I finally think Tim Lee's keeping a game, he goes, Drew, I'm selling this game tomorrow. And I just give up. I just throw my hands up and I say, Tim Lee, I love you, brother, but, you know, whatever. It's your collection, and I don't pin shame people like you. So, you know, it's that, too. You know, that's something I do – I want to say I do love about Tribe Multivolve is that we do these little PSAs every now and again about let's not pin shame people, and let's also just be kind people. I really do love that about our show, Tim. Yeah. Well, you know, I do want to – no, I'm glad you brought that up because I do want to talk a little bit about pin shaming. I think it's kind of like a rite of passage, right? And, I mean, we're in this hobby for fun, and it's not life-threatening. So I think a little pin-ribbing and a pin-shaming is appropriate from time to time. I do, but I think when people take it to the next step or the next level and it becomes a personal attack, then we've got problems. I agree with that, but wait a minute. That's one thing to say, I don't really like that game, but, you know, good for you. I'm happy you have it. Rachel? Hypocrite Rachel? center post cafe is because of you the ultimate that's not picking on the games that's just the games the way that they're set up that's all it was just it was like i just noted a fact right tim it was just a fact that there was a lot of center posts in his cafe down there that's it yeah he had like a shelf with center post on in case one breaks he could get one in fairly Like I saw it over the quarter. I'm like, Drew, you have like 12 center posts over there. You never know when one might go down. No, I see. This is what I love. This is awesome. That's that's great. That's great. OK, Drew, I have spent twenty eight or twenty nine episodes belittling and shaming you. So you're you're you're allowed. You are not wrong. And I had a PSA because I felt bad about it. I love it. I love you guys. I love it. Well, I wrote all this stuff down, so we're going to revisit this when it comes out, right? All right. And we'll revisit this next week when Tim Lee gets rid of Transformers. So, you know, we'll all be wrong on that one. So any other final thoughts about Toy Story? I mean, obviously we know nothing, so we're just kind of shooting from the hip. I look forward to seeing, like, if the slinky dog is in there, a Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, and Jesse and all the other characters. So I'm looking forward to seeing that, the little alien creatures from the Pizza Planet claw game, the claw machine aliens, you know, all that kind of stuff. That'd be cool if there's a claw in that game. You know, once you start thinking about and dreaming about that, that'd be neat, like a claw that would come down and grab the ball. Yeah. There's so much cool stuff they could do. There's a million other little cool things that could happen in there. Definitely. I'm looking forward to it. I love, again, we talked about Wonka recently, and I love that game. So if it's anything like that, and that's Lawler too, right? This is going to be a Pat Lawler design. Yeah. So I think, and I like, and he's done, he did Twilight Zone too, I think, recently. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of the classics from the 90s were him. Yeah. So for me, I'm excited to see that for him and see what it looks like. I guess, like, this might be his last game some folks are going to talk to. So I'm interested to see what that would be like, his last salute to pinball. What a fantastic theme. Yeah. No, it's no doubt. it's it's gonna be fun no matter how any way you slice it it's gonna be a good game so wait and see as craig bobby says um hey before we wrap this up do we want to induct a new tribe member oh yes i'm waiting to do this i think that would be fantastic for a long time so before we do this i just want like i said it's been a while um uh tim why don't you share before i read the the email that he sent me about his origin story, share with the audience what he sent you on your birthday. Okay. Of course this made me uncomfortable, but you know, I got a happy birthday. Yeah. Yeah. I got a happy birthday. Come visit me, you know, have a fireball and Coke on me, but he gave me some advice and it was the older you get, the more saggy your balls will be. wear more supportive underwear, my friend. Happy birthday. I don't know it's better, that or the fact that it makes Tim Lee uncomfortable. I love both. I love both. Tim Lee's saggy balls and he just talked about it on the air. Where's Amy Lee when we need her? Supporting Tim. The saggy balls. Yeah. Poor Amy. All right. So this is the origin story of this particular brand new tribe member. This is tribe member 45, right after Miss Amy Lee, number 44. You guys ready for this? Yes. So I emailed him, and he doesn't know this is happening today. And he doesn't even know it's happening. I think he suspected, but he sent me this. I just said, hey, just tell me about how you got into pinball, and tell me a little about yourself. So this is what I got. It all started back in Ohio. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio. Wait, wait, wait. Don't say it. I gotta tell a story about this guy first. Okay, okay. No, I love it. I love it. Go ahead. I actually thought that this guy was going to kill me at one point so when he joined facebook he had three friends maybe two and he sends me a message with no profile pic and he pretty much said are you going to pin brew this year i wanted to know if any tribe members are going to be there and i'm like i immediately called juju and said do you know this guy and i and i said his name and and You're like, no. And I'm like, you just sent me this cryptic message. And fast forward, he said something about buying one of the DMDs that Ari was making. And he said, hey, plane tickets are purchased, hotels booked. See you at Pinbrew. So I called Drew. By that time, you were friends with this guy on Facebook. And I'm like, he's got three friends. He obviously listens to the show. So he sent me a friend request, which I never accepted because it was like it was just a little weird. And then when I I wasn't super worried about it, but I joke with you that that he was going to kill me. But I did see this gentleman in Ohio and somebody had said to me, hey, did you see the guy walking around with the poor man shirt? And I thought, that's got to be this guy. So I immediately went over and his wife, Rachel, was there that he had mentioned. And we talked for a while. He started he was really super nice. We talked for a really long time, told him the story about, you know, how I was a little bit creeped out by his Facebook message. And his wife's like, I told him not to do that. I told him you just can't get on. And then he put on a guy with a dunce cap, like a kid with a dunce cap is his photo, which made it even weirder. But his wife, Rachel, told me, I told him that. She's like, he literally planned this trip to Ohio for Pin Brew. He thought you were going to be there, Drew, to meet me, you, and Stephen Silver because he knew tribe members were going to be there. And that's when he picked to go back home. and his wife pulled me to the side and said can i get he get a picture with you because he's probably going to be too embarrassed to ask she's like he lives and breathes the poor man's pinball podcast she said he has it on all the time he talks about you he wants to be in the tribe really bad and then his whole family shows up not just his wife like the entire family came to the to the pin brew show and they were all super nice we hung out we talked for a while but i think i called you up the next day and said drew you have a super fan no disrespect to anybody else in the tribe but i said i think you got and that includes me i said i think you got your first super fan so that was my story he ended up not doing anything he wasn't weird turned out to be a fantastic guy yeah so uh no and everything's tim said and i reached out to his wife and uh she's fantastic too um but i want to welcome to the tribe tribe member number 45 dan the man lazar welcome dan you are now part of the poor man's pinball tribe poor man's pinball family um that email was epic Yeah.
