If you click the live tab, uh, you'll be able to see all of our past live streams. So, thank you so much for clicking. And yeah, today we are going to do the Cactus Canyon remake tutorial with the Lman Sheet Lyman Sheets upgrade expansion kit installed. Uh what that means is this. This right here um that saloon mech is new. Um that was uh just some history here. Cactus Canyon was made back in like 91. I think the game was technically unfinished. Well, when Chicago Gaming decided to remake it, they actually finished the code. Um, that game's been out for a few years now, but Lyman Sheets and Josh Sharp uh made more code. They made additional code or they made they had more rules that they wanted to add to the game, including this saloon mech. You can see it here. And then I also have it up here. Um, the saloon mech was in the original design, but it was never in the original game. And so, they've added that. This saloon mech, uh, you also get this lock mech up there as well to show how many balls you have locked. But uh with this new mech, you get the spinner right here. And then you can see the saloon door is down. So that'll stop the ball. So um yeah, I'm going to do my best. A lot of what I'm explaining in this kit will apply to the extended rules as well or the uh the original CGC game that was released. Um but yeah, I love this game. I own this game. I've owned this game for a few years now. I bought it from Zach at Flipping Out. Um it's been great and I've been waiting for the kit and it's here and here we go. Let's do it. So, our normal uh shots and layout, you have inlane, outlane. Uh the key thing to watch here is gunfight. Gunfight on the left is a mode that I will show you. You get that once you get to deputy. That's the marshall rank or the your overall ranking system, but that's a way to get your ball back to keep playing on the left out lane. Um the in lanes are also how you start the quick draw events and you start the gunfights. So, when those particular inserts are lit, that's when you know, hey, I um there's posts here. I'm going to stop the ball and then prepare you for a gunfight, which is pretty cool. Um, then it's very much a fan layout. So, we have quick draw targets. We have them on both sides. That's how you light your quick draws. Uh, and then we have the left orbit. The left orbit actually has gates up here that'll stop it and go into this pop cluster and then it'll feed out to the left. But there are times where this gate right here will be open which will make the ball go all the way around like that. So that's the left shot. That's how you do all the uh the bucking bronco modes or the the the horse modes. Um then you have the beerstein. The beerstein in the original extended code didn't do a ton. Uh it was the only thing it did was light the topper mode and then extra ball hits. But there's a bunch of bunch new modes that have been added with the beerstein target. So I'll show those off. Then we have the left ramp. The left ramp will feed the left flipper. Those are the waterfall modes um there on the left ramp. Then we have the mine mech. So this mech, it's a mine will actually go up and down at certain points. So you have to open it up and then you lock balls in it and that's how you get to your multiball. Um and during multiball, it actually moves up and down. So you have to time it right to hit your shot. Uh up the center ramp is the railroad ramp. Um that's how you save poly with the train. And you'll see this train mech here during that mode will actually head this way, which is pretty cool. And that ramp also feeds the left flipper. Then we have the new mech. In the original extended game, or the original game, there was just Bart. Bart's a bash toy. You can see his head right there. Um the ball ramp up into that. It'll be collected right here, and then it usually gets spit out either that way or that way, depending on how the the gate is set up. Um normally to the right. But uh with the new mech, you now have the saloon and the saloon door is down at the moment and so you'll bash that saloon door and then it'll come up and then you can get through to bash Bart. Um then we have the marksman kind of lane. It becomes an orbit. Um that now has the uh spinner on it which you can rip and it's awesome. And then you have the right ramp. The right ramp will go up and then come down here on the right side. That is how you do the bank robber mode or the the shootout mode for that. And then you have the plunge. The plunge uh feeds this kind of funnel and the ball will spin around there and then it'll fall through and feed the right in lane. Depending on how hard you plunge will depend on how many spins it does and you'll see that on the skill shot so you kind of time that correctly. Um, but what makes this game really, really fun in my opinion are there are four drop targets that are currently below the playfield and there are certain moments in the game where those will pop up and those are the bad guys and you'll have to shoot those uh at different points which is which is just fantastic and hopefully I'll show that off. The last thing I want to show off is the topper. The topper is one of the best toppers in all of pinball. That mech is just aesthetic but he will move and react to certain things in the game. But if you look at the windows in the back here, the ones that are turning on and off, there are different modes where those windows mean something. And then another thing that you really can't see, but this whole bottom black edge is actually lights. And so there are different modes where that'll show progress or spinner reps or stuff like that. So the topper is more functional than people realize, which is awesome. It's awesome. Okay, I think that's it for layout. So let's uh let's go ahead and dive in here. This is my town. This is my town. Skillshot. What you're going to see is Skillshot. What you're going to see is depending on how I plunge, you're going to see that ball is going to go around and you scroll through this skill shot here. Um, there are two things to take note. This 1 million and the hurry up. Hurry This 1 million and the hurry up. Hurry up is a mode. The 1 million, if you get 1 million this time, on the next ball it'll be 2 million on the next ball. So, you can increase that that power. But, I'm actually purposely going to short plunge to just get it to not spin around to see if we can get the hurry up. Um, there we go. So, hurry up mode you're going to see is on the left orbit. So, you want to hit that. Of course, I threw it and it it's hitting a post instead. There we go. And you see how that actually went all the way around. Um, so that locks in that hurry up value and that's going to increase as the points go on. Um, let's talk about the star down here. There are five main tasks to do in the game. um showdown stampede motherload combo and get Bart Bros. So, let's start with Bart Bros. Uh basically, you're going to hit the saloon. You see the saloon door still down and now the saloon door is still down. and now the saloon door is still down. There we go. And now the the door went up. So, now that you can see it's up right there. You can also see that the jackpot shot is lit. So, that's going to tell me this ball's going to go all the way through. And that's me defeating a Bart Bro. So, And that's me defeating a Bart Bro. So, every every Bart Bro after this will take more hits. Um, another thing is my gunfight insert. It's kind of hard to see, but this insert over here is lit. If I hit the flipper now, this insert over there is lit. Gunfight is another mode, and I'm going to show that off. So, I'm going to hit the left ramp, and I'm going to let it roll over gunfight. Gunfight is going to pop up one of the targets, and you get basically one or two shots to try to hit it. So, it's going to be that target right there. Boom. I hit it. So, what just happened? I actually got So, what just happened? I actually got all the value that I got from defeating Bella Bart that came into gunfight and being that I hit my shot, I got that value. So, what's interesting is with the gunfight mech in the new code is you can actually add those up. So, if I do multiple Bella Barts or sorry, multiple Bart pros or if I do multiple modes before I do a gunfight, the value of those modes all comes together and you can get 2x or 3x or 4x depending how much you stack. Um, over here I have quick draw lit. So, I'm going to hit the left ramp again. That's going to do quick draw. It doesn't stop the ball, but it pops up the target. So, now I've done one of my four bad So, now I've done one of my four bad guys for quick draw. Another thing I forgot to show is I increased from stranger to partner because I hit my gunfight my gunfight shot. I've hit this left ramp two times. So now when I hit the left ramp it's going to start a mode. So for this mode to beat the mode all I So for this mode to beat the mode all I have to do is hit the left ramp. But if I hit the um if I hit either the left or right you can see they're flashing. It increases the value of this. Uh holy cow. Apparently, I'm just going to keep hitting that mode or that post. So, you can increase the value and then you can cash out here. And there we go. So, I've beat a mode. So, now that I've beat a mode, another gunfights lit. But I'm going to wait on that for a second. I've actually because I've hit enough of these the the spinners, I've lit uh saloon fight. So, let me show that off. Saloon fight. You're going to hit the um Come on. Wow, it bounced around. There we go. So, I've started Saloon Fight. Saloon Fight is a hurry up or not a hurry up, it's a Yeah. So, basically, it's switch hits. So, the more switch hits I hit, the more um There we go. So, it's increasing my beer jackpot. You can see that right here. So, like I said, the more switch hits, it's going to increase my beer jackpot. And I only have 19 seconds left. So, what that's telling me is I have that many seconds left to hit the beerstein to cash out my jackpot. So, there we go. So, I've cashed out. So, it's a really fun distraction, honestly. Um, I like it a lot. I'm going to ignore this gunfight. I have two. You It's kind of hard to see, but I've hit the marksman shot twice. So, I'm going to go ahead and hit that again. Let's get it all the way through. All right. All right. So, now I've started the marksman mode. So, now I've started the marksman mode. The marksman mode's going to have three things lit. For maximum points, you want to hit the two besides the center. The center is what finishes the mode. So, do you see how it's moving over here? Now, it moves back. So that was the right side. Oh, that was me finishing the mode. But now marksman's complete. So that's two modes that I've completed before I've played another gunfight. Let's go ahead and hit another Let's go ahead and do another BART here. So there's another BART done. So that's So there's another BART done. So that's two modes and a BART. And if I do instant info here, what you're going to see is So look at this status report here. Oh, the spinner came out. Okay, here we go. Let's try again. Status report. There we go. You're going to see um right here, my gunfight is currently at 4x value because I've stacked the modes in the Bart Pros. So, let's go ahead and do this gunfight. So, I'm going to let it roll over. Well, I could just do this. I'm going to let it roll over. So, 14 million. You saw it right down So, 14 million. You saw it right down here. 14 million points this shot. Boom. Nailed it. So, that upgrades me to Boom. Nailed it. So, that upgrades me to deputy. But that's the whole thing with the new code is you can you can build that value. You can go longer and longer and longer without playing your gunfight and you can get your gunfight worth, you know, over 50 million to 100 million on one shot. Now that I'm a deputy gunfight over here on the the left is lit. So I'll show you what that looks like. So that's draining the ball. If you look, all four drops popped up. One of them is green. You have to hit the green one. And that's how you save your ball. If you hit any of the red ones, it's over. Ball's over. Uh, I'm gonna hit a beerstein here. If you look up there, it says shootout at 10. So, let's just There's three, four, five, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. So, shootout is lit. I'm going to show that. You can also see it right there. Do you see those lights I was talking about? It's telling me shootout is lit. So, I'm going to hit my um saloon and that'll start shootout. No more. So, shootout 2, you can play it No more. So, shootout 2, you can play it on the topper or the screen. So, this will work on either model, but basically what you're going to see here, it's it's a video mode. I'm going to try to shoot the bad guys and not the women and cows. So, let's see if I can beat this. So, that was me hitting the right three times. And you can see the lights show how many bullets I have left. So, I'm doing okay. See, that's a cow. Don't want to shoot that. Don't want to shoot that. That's a woman over there on the left. Don't want to shoot her. That's a cow. Don't shoot him. That's the cow again. Oh. Oh, I Okay. And now I have to shoot Oh. Oh, I Okay. And now I have to shoot him. So, wait for it. So, I'm waiting, waiting, and fire. Then fire. Boom. You got to time it just right. And that's how you beat the mode. It's an awesome mode. And that was at 10 hits. All right, let's do another Bart just so we can keep zipping away at them. There we go. So, there's another BART There we go. So, there's another BART done. You can see um on the front there's three lights showing that I've done three of them. My gunfights lit again. Uh let's go ahead and do a mode. I don't want to do gun Well, I didn't flip away enough. So, let's do another gunfight here. Ready, set, go. Ready, set, go. All right. Boom. So, that that pops me All right. Boom. So, that that pops me up to sheriff. Once I get to Marshall, there's another mode here. So, let's do uh let me show you this So, let's do uh let me show you this bank robber mode. If you look at the screen, you can see If you look at the screen, you can see this is the bank robber. So, the bank robber is on the third shot to the left. So, I could shoot the other ones for some points first if I want to do that. But really, what you have to do within the allotted time is shoot the main shot. So, there we go. So, that's me beating the bank robber. And it's lit gunfight again. So, you know what? Let's just go ahead and do the gunfight so I can show you we can get through this to Marshall multiplay. And I love I'm telling you it all it all And I love I'm telling you it all it all comes down to this. You got to hit that shot. You got to hit that shot. Now I'm at Marshall. So being that I'm at Marshall and you see how sorry being that it's all flashing means either one of these if I roll over either one of the shots it's going to start the Marshall mode. This is a new mode to the upgrade kit. So that popup is up there. If you can shoot the shot without hitting either stand up, it's worth more. So, being that I hit the uh unfortunately, I hit the pop-ups there. So, this is not worth as much as it would have been if I would not have hit the pop-ups. So, now the two pop-ups in the middle are up. So, I got to hit right between them without hitting a pop-up. Oh, I hit it. That's okay. It's just points. There we go. And now the two pop-ups on the left. There we go. And now it's just the one pop-up on the left. There we go. So, I've done all those shots. So, now Marshall multiball, which is a So, now Marshall multiball, which is a new brand new to this upgrade mode. All right, Marshall multiball. You got to hit jackpot shots, which are just the red shots. So, this is a fourball multiball. And when you hit a jackpot shot, somebody will pop up. So, let's hit another jackpot shot. Two bad guy. You can see the bad guys popping up. So basically, you want to end up you're going to end up shooting all five bad guys. And then after you do that, you're going to shoot the saloon for the super jackpot. And then you have the ability to do that again. So it's a fun multiball. It's unique. Anything that uses these drop targets really makes me happy. But I'm going to go ahead and drain down the one ball, which will end that Marshall multiball. So that's a brand new thing with the kit. Okay. modes. Let's finish our modes. So, we've done these modes, those modes. Let's go right up the middle. Right up the middle is the train mode. The train mode actually has a um has an extra ball associated with it. Another thing you're going to see is the combo lights we're on. Is in trouble. Is in trouble. Um you want to get enough combos to get Um you want to get enough combos to get this one. So, the train mode, you have to hit the right shot, the left shot. If you hit up the middle, it doesn't count until you do it on the last shot. It just pauses it. So, let's go left shot and then we're going to go right up the middle. There we go. And now you'll see extra ball is lit over here to collect the extra ball. So, let's do that.
