Well, hey everybody, how you doing? Don's Pinball Podcast here. And like most of you, I have a lot of pinball machines, and I love the effect I get with the Invisiglass. Well, I just got a product from the pinball scientist that's going to do something similar for way less money. Let's check it out. So take Munsters here, and when you get to the back of the glass here, you see that glare there of the Munsters logo that comes from the LCD screen? And the giant trans light, that is what we're here to mend with this new product. So the pinball scientist has provided this pre-cut screen filter material. You can see how it controls the light there, completely opaque, and then we get loosened. So you can affix this material to the LCD screen and the trans light. And of course, the goal here is to be able to filter and block the light from hitting the glass, But allow it to transluminate to your eyes through this pre-cut material. Let's throw it in here and see just how this stuff works. All right, so I've just done the back glass portion of it.

And it did look a little darker turned off, but turned on, it looks pretty good. And yeah, that glare from the back glass is gone. The black glass light is turned up to 100%.

And I'm struggling to see the glare from there. So here's how this works. From straight on, you don't see any difference, but when you do the angle from the glass, you see how it darkens with that filter. So it effectively blocking the light from even reaching down here Alright and honestly after the full install it currently playing the 40th anniversary trailer right there Sperman J Well, there you have it. The product freaking does its job, and it does it for like a quarter or a 20th percent of the price of like doing a full Invisiglass. Invisiglass looks awesome. It's $200 to $250 for a sheet of glass. For this price, the $30, $50, I believe, double check with pinball scientists, but it takes care of the two main problems with the glare. You know, now I've got some strong fluorescent overhead lights turned on right now, my work lights. And you can tell that they're there, you know, which I could take Invisiglass and get rid of that aspect. But, like, the whole back of the play field right here, no longer any reflective glare from these. These are turned up full blast, man. So there you go, pinball scientist. I dig it, man. I dig it. Install was not honestly too bad. If you've ever changed to Translight, it's the same process as that. Just slip it on in there. He's got a seven minute video on his YouTube channel that I use to install these. The screen protector here or the filter for here, much easier. Just undo the bolts, lift the whole panel up, slide it in on top of the plexiglass, goes down, bolts on, done. There it is. It's cool. It's pretty cool.
