TL;DR

Kaneda discusses Pokemon LEs, Stern's Transformers hype, industry artwork critique, and failed startup credibility.

Summary

Kaneda discusses Pokemon LE delivery delays, secondary market pricing ($16K-$23K), and concerns about coil stop durability on Stern machines. He expresses enthusiasm for Pokemon's accessibility and family-friendly design, contrasts it with Winchester (tournament-focused), and reveals insider information about upcoming Stern titles including Transformers (with 25-month development, full G1 voice cast, Frank Welker confirmed alive). He also critiques playfield artwork across the industry, discusses Jersey Jack's Justice League, and reflects on industry credibility issues surrounding failed startups (Deep Root, Raza, Haggis) and personalities like Steven Bowden and Marty.

Key Claims

  • Some Pokemon LEs are still waiting on delivery despite being ordered months ago; numbered LEs received their games first.

high confidence · Kaneda, opening discussion: 'I was in the thread, like, and people are still waiting to get this game. Really uncharacteristic of Stern to have this, like, delay on LEs.'

  • Pokemon LE secondary market pricing is $16K-$23K; Kaneda sold a second Pokemon LE for $23,000 to a buyer in week one.

high confidence · Kaneda: 'Did get for my second Pokemon LE... $23,000. The scalper king baby... It was the easiest game to scalp week one.'

  • Coil stop issues persist on Stern machines; Christopher Lorenzo says they are 'better now' but problems remain.

medium confidence · Kaneda and chat discussion: 'Why can't they fix this coil stop problem? What's the issue? It just doesn't make any sense. We've been talking about these broken coil stops now for years. Cheap parts, that's why?'

  • Pokemon will hold value around $13K-$15K long-term due to code updates expected to expand the game's depth.

medium confidence · Kaneda: 'I think that's going to hold strong eventually around 15. That's my guess... when more of the code goes into this game... it's going to wake up? It's going to drop 13 for sure.'

  • Transformers has had 25 months of development time and will be 'the most impressive game in terms of what's in it that Stern has ever launched.'

medium confidence · Kaneda citing Stern individuals: 'Elliot Eismin has had 25 months to develop Transformers... it will be looked at as the most impressive Stern offering of all time.'

  • Transformers will feature full G1 voice cast including Peter Cullen and Frank Welker (confirmed alive); includes 'You Got the Touch' song.

medium confidence · Kaneda: 'Frank Wheeler... he's dead, but he was the voice of Megatron... Peter Cullen's doing the call outs. It's going to be amazing... Full G1, full G1 Transformers.' (Note: Later corrects Frank Welker as still alive.)

  • Stern no Stern LE has held its value over five years; market signals declining confidence in $13K LE pricing.

medium confidence · Kaneda: 'there was like Raza code update, like updates every day on Fun with Bone... If Melvin does make Raza, it is 100% the Steven Bowden code... I do think our hobby has reached a point... if you get burned by any new startup, like it's on you now.'

medium · Kaneda: 'there's not much in it code wise... when it wakes up, boy, is it going to wake up?... when we get – more code goes into this game... there's going to be such a greater demand for this game.'

  • ?

design_philosophy: Clear market divide between casual-accessible games (Pokemon: fun in 20-30 min plays) and tournament-focused designs (Winchester: too difficult for average players). Kaneda advocates for accessibility-first design.

high · Kaneda: 'if I only have 20 minutes or 30 minutes of time to play pinball, I can walk up to this game, be so satisfied... Winchester is too tough for the average player... the average player is going to be more frustrated than having fun.'

  • ?

product_strategy: Pokemon Company's strict IP control restrictions prevented Stern creative alterations, resulting in superior art package. Kaneda views IP constraints as design improvement tool.

medium · Kaneda: 'I'm so happy the Pokemon company did not let Stern alter any of its IP... Isn't it amazing when you limit Stern's ability to creatively have freedom and they had to go with what the world loves about Pokemon.'

  • ?

machine_intel: Transformers has received unprecedented 25-month development cycle; described as Stern's 'most impressive offering.' Signals major feature investment and quality expectations.

medium · Kaneda citing Stern insiders: 'Elliot Eismin has had 25 months to develop Transformers... it will be looked at as the most impressive Stern offering of all time.'

  • ?

licensing_signal: Transformers secured full G1 voice cast: Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Frank Welker (Megatron). Includes 'You Got the Touch' song license. Signals premium licensing deal.

high · Kaneda: 'Peter Cullen's doing the call outs... Frank Wheeler... voice of Megatron... You got the touch is also in the G1 show... Full G1, full G1 Transformers.'

  • ?

design_concern: Patrick Lee's (non-traditional pinball artist) aesthetic concerns; community worries Transformers cabinet won't authentically reflect G1 visual style. Risk of artwork-gameplay disconnect.

medium · Kaneda: 'the Transformers art package is the thing that has me the most worried... Patrick Lee's style is not G1 in my honest opinion... the look of the cabinet... is not going to reflect the G1 nature.'

  • ?

community_signal: Industry consensus that startup failure responsibility now lies with consumers, not promoters. No credibility given to new unproven manufacturers; established companies have eliminated risk.

high · Kaneda: 'if you get burned by any new startup, like it's on you now... There's zero risk you're going to lose your money [with legitimate companies]... There's no point in speculating on a startup.'

  • ?

industry_signal: Industry has effectively excluded failed startup personalities: Papa Duke (now bus driver), Damien Harden, Marty, Andrew Highway, Kevin Kulik. No platform or credibility remaining.

high · Kaneda: 'Damien will never be back... Kevin Kulik will never be back... John Papadiuk is a bus driver... this hobby does a good job of ultimately weeding out... the people that have really created a lot of heartache for people.'

  • 3:55
Surprise. It's normally not that bad. But, you know, when you know Mr. George Gomez, Kaneda got his. I'm loving this game still. I know people are still upset about that. I think there's a weird – I'm just getting my hat straight here. There's a weird – I don't know. There's like a weird animosity against simple fun in pinball. And I think what's interesting is the dichotomy of this machine where I've been very transparent and I love this game. I don't think it's worth $13,000. You know what I'm saying?
    4:34
I'm in this. But what am I going to do? I don't you know, Kaneda doesn't roll with premiums and pros. So I'm always an L.E. guy. So I absolutely had to go with the L.E. Wait, waiting on reinforcing of coil stops on LE?
    4:55
Is that, is that, look, I don't, maybe like I have, haven't had coil stop issues on Stern machines, but I'm not, I don't know. I, it's still an issue with Sterns. Coil stops are still breaking on these games.
    5:18
Wow. Wow, that's kind of crazy. Why can't they fix this coil stop problem? What's the issue? It just doesn't make any sense. We've been talking about these broken coil stops now for years. Cheap parts, that's why?
    5:41
It's a shame, you know, I don't know. When the coil stop breaks, how do you notice it? Is that like when the flipper, like the flipper will like be weak when the ball hits it when you try to hold the flipper up? Yeah, I've never had a flipper issue on any of my Sterns either.
    6:05
So Christopher Lorenzo says that they're better now. So has anyone had a broken coil stop on a Pokemon LE or Premium or Pro yet?
    6:17
So Alex said, I'm going to buy an LE of Pokemon when prices drop. Now, Alex, what's your price point? Because I don't think this game's ever dropping below 13. I don't. I think that it's going to hold strong eventually around 15. That's my guess. I don't think you're going to see Pokemons go like 10, 11K. I just don't. I just don't. There literally is going to be such a greater demand for this game when more of the code goes into this game. The more I think about this game right now, there's like not much in it. I mean, what's in it is amazing, but there's not much in it at all code wise. I mean, it is when you think about the fact that they've got access to all these assets and the TV show and all these characters, you know, I really think it's going to be a game that when it wakes up, boy, is it going to wake up?
    7:21
It's going to drop 13 for sure. It's trending worse than Jaws and Metallica. Premiums are just the same game with Stern. Oh, JC, I don't think so. So, JC, what you have to understand is the only reason Jaws went down was because Jaws 50th really effed over all of the Jaws LE owners. Okay, if Jaws 50th never comes out, Jaws LE holds really strong. And Metallica, the reason why I like Metallica, I think it's just trending down more so over time. It's just an old game. Spooky Pinball Inc. Loving Pokemon because of the family-friendly nature of the game that would never put a Metallica into their home.
    8:37
I'm not going to – look, I mean this when I say this. Metallica, I don't know, GNR, like I just feel like we're getting a little exhausted, just a little bit of these rock and roll acts that we've just heard the same songs now for like 40, 50 years. Pokemon LE is nicest by far. You have to get the lights and the speakers, so may as well get the LE.
    9:04
Sterns don't hold value because of the existence of identical premium. That's not true, JC. That's not true. This notion that if you make the LE different enough, those will hold better value. But look, I'm not here to defend the $13,000 pricing. I do agree. That the market has spoken. This isn't even Kaneda saying, hey, I don't see $13,000 in value. It's the market has spoken. The market has told us that they do not see Stern LEs at a consistent price of $13,000. Thank you for watching. So that we have to buy a new one every year.
    10:19
Anyway. Well, you know, they're going to be waiting. I think what's going to happen with Pokemon is when we get – the camera is blurry. I knew it. Like, what is going on here? Hold on.
    10:32
Is it down here? Hold on. Gook. Hold on. Oh, man, it's like the glue from them. I think that's a little better.
    10:54
All right. Yeah, that looks a little better. I mean, Facebook guys, just join on YouTube. You know, what's up, Mike? A little blurry on Facebook today? I don't know.
    11:06
It is what it is. Here's the thing about, you know, there's three new in box sellers that are discounting their LE Pokemons to now under 16K. So, Doc Mario, where are these under 16K? So that's only $3,000 over sticker. Where are these machines? Are they on Pinside? Inside, are they, but like when you say Southern California, are they posted on Southern California Facebook pages?
    11:46
Trying to like understand why like Facebook is blurry. Hold on a second, gang. Let me see if I can. I don't know where the camera is. Is this the top?
    12:05
Definitely looks like it's blurry. I don't know. Okay. There is not a single Stern LE that has held its value in five years.
    12:21
All right. Well, how do you guys feel knowing that? Do you think I, I mean, I've been kind of honest about this, but I, I did get for my second Pokemon LE. Are you, are you ready for it?
    12:40
$23,000. The scalper king baby back, back. 23 on the table right away. Y'all, all y'all waited too long. Like, it was the easiest game to scalp week one. Week one, baby. Week one.
    13:05
23K. Boom. On the table. Boom. Paid. Boom. Game. New owner. Boom. Now, look, this guy is loaded. He doesn't care. But, like, now, look, I wish I had five to sell that week. I would have sold them all for not 23, but at least like 20.
    13:30
It's starting to make up for some of my losses on Magic Girl, my losses on Ultraman, my loss on Toy Story 4, and then my losses on David Fix. You know what I'm saying? Thank you for watching. Okay, just like, just let's stop with it. The game has got a lot in it and it's really hard to play. It's a very difficult game. I think Winchester is going to be a game where a lot of people, a lot of people just struggle with the layout. I do. I don't think the game is like a dream shooter. I think it's a, but it's going to hold value because it's just such a unique game. It's definitely a game that you're not going to see everywhere on a global pinball collecting market. What an exciting, unique, limited game to have. So well done on that front.
    14:57
Winchester is a tournament players game. What does that mean? What does that mean that Winchester is a tournament players game? Does that mean it's like really hard? And, you know, incredible skill sets are the only people that will, like, get high scores.
    15:13
Who took the Sharpie to your Pokemon cab? There's no Sharpie. Don't let kids near Sharpies upstairs.
    15:29
So that's my point about Winchester. It is too tough for the average player. It is. And that's why I think the average player is going to be more frustrated than having fun on the game. Where this game is the opposite. It's like it's too easy for a tournament player, but it's amazing for the average player.
    15:53
It's not a tournament players game. None of them will ever be able to play it. Yeah. Who's putting Winchester into tournaments? Like that's the other thing. Will the Pokemon topper be out before Kay sells his Pokemon? Okay, so first and foremost, I don't know if you guys saw my video. I had the most adorable thing happen today. Cassian came out of the room. He took his little stool. He put the stool over by the side of Pokemon, stood on it on his tippy toes, turned the game on. This is a kid that's not even two yet. He turns the game on, then he brings his stool, he carries it over, puts it in front of the machine and starts playing at less than two years of age. So let me tell you right now, I am not selling this game. I am not. I am keeping this game for a very long time. It is beautiful. It is fun to play. I'm having a great time on it. And for those of you out there who have other lives, I mean this, when you have other lives and you have work, you have family, you have friends, you have vacations planned. What I love about this game is if I only have 20 minutes or 30 minutes of time to play pinball, I can walk up to this game, be so satisfied by the shots, know what I'm doing. And in 20 minutes have a very, very, very, very rewarding pinball experience.
    17:35
That is what I want out of pinball. I don't want out of pinball a game that is frustrating to shoot. I don't want out of pinball a game where I don't really know what's going on because so much is going on or everything's happening at once. I don't want that.
    17:56
Now, I'm here to tell you this, and this is from individuals over at Stern. Transformers will be the greatest, most impressive game. I don't know greatest. Okay, let me, let me, it will be the most impressive game in terms of what's in it. That Stern has ever launched.
    18:31
Elliot Eisman has had 25 months to develop Transformers. Elliot Eisman is an engineer. I'm hearing, and this is from Stern individuals who have played it, it will be looked at as the most impressive Stern offering of all time. Now, if Transformers has in it, you got the touch, the song, I will be putting that game into this house. It is that simple. There are certain moments that hit an emotional chord for me and that song, first Ultra Magnus.
    19:28
No, no, no, no, I messed it up. First Prime, then Ultra Magnus. It's a pity you Autobots die so easily or I might have a greater sense of satisfaction. Transformation, you got the touch. You got the power arise, Rodimus Prime. Now, I know it's not going to be the Rodimus, but you got the touch is also in the G1 show. When they find Optimus floating in space and like the spores are killing everybody. It's like the coronavirus of Transformers universe. And they bring Optimus back to life. He's just it's just the most like writer's loophole that he's still alive. You got the touch. They have I hear they have Frank Wheeler, which he's dead, but he was the voice of Megatron. So he's going to be in it like all the cartoons. It's full G1, full G1 Transformers. Peter Cullen's doing the call outs.
    20:34
It's going to be amazing. I don't know how many LEs, but I would get on a list for an LE if I were you.
    20:44
Again, I think it's going to be the same thing. It might be like Midnight Madness when the game comes out.
    20:51
I think it's going to be Autobot and Decepticon on the same LE. I think it's going to be split like they did with the last Transformers LE. I think the armor is split down the middle, red and purple. I think we're going to see something similar.
    21:06
I think that's super cool. I'm trying to figure out this upstairs area, how I can configure this space to maybe have Pokemon, Sonic, and Transformers.
    21:19
I mean, that just feels like a dream triple lineup. Pokemon, Sonic, Transformers. Boy, do I have some news for my Patreon subscribers.
    21:32
I've got confirmation on things that you haven't heard anywhere else. It's going to be a very good week for Kaneda Club members. Let me just say that.
    21:45
A very good week Isn that crazy for three pinball machines What about Beetlejuice? Well, Beetlejuice, here's what's crazy. Sonic Transformers will be out well before my Beetlejuice build number.
    22:07
Beetlejuice 999, I was most likely going to put it in my garage. So we'll see. I haven't run this by Brenda. There's a very good chance that there will not be three games set up inside this living room. Very good chance of that.
    22:24
I think for the most part, I don't want to be over cluttered. But I'm also not feeling this room. This is my kind of like man loft area. I'm not feeling it. It just doesn't have the same impact. I want people to walk up the stairs and feel like they're walking into an arcade. And this does not feel like it. Because it's hard. It's open here. This isn't like a secret room.
    22:48
Is Frank Welker not dead? I thought he was dead. Maybe. I think he's dead. Is he still alive? Let's look at it.
    23:08
Oh, he's still alive. Huh. Okay, I don't know why I thought he was dead. For some reason. Okay, he's alive.
    23:36
Yeah. Yeah, so look, I know I 100% agree with you. The Transformers art package is the thing that has me the most worried.
    23:52
I'm really worried. Whenever you get like a new artist who hasn't done pinball machines before and I just Patrick Lee's style is not G1 in my honest opinion. That to me is going to be the big worry is that the look of the cabinet and the play field is not going to reflect the G1 nature of the show on the screen.
    24:14
And that has me very, very worried. I think it should look like G1. Not some like 1990s like anime manga style of the G1 robots in disguise. But, you know, Zombie Eddie, man, he's art directing all this, so he's feeling the pressure, baby. We know he is. I haven't heard from him. I haven't heard from him since I ruined his life.
    24:47
It's silly, you know. Dude's got a dream job. He gets to go in every day and make art for pinball machines. He was discovered by John Papaduke. And, you know, we're allowed to be critical of some of their art decisions because some of them have been pretty. I mean, every time I look at a King Kong, bro, I just like I literally vomit. It looks like rainbow vomit. It does, man. King Kong. King Kong literally would have been the next Godzilla if it wasn't for the art. Everybody knows that. You look down at that King Kong play field and it's not even Zombie Eddie's artwork on the play field. It was like the, what John Yusey or whatever, the whoever did the, the old Kong. It literally is like the amount of inserts and colors and rainbow vomit happening all at once is so mind boggling that they stood over that game and were like, yeah, this looks good. Yeah, this looks good.
    25:50
Kong play field is the worst in pinball history. No, that's fizzy. You're too new to the hobby, bro.
    25:56
The worst artwork in pinball history. Let's be let's be honest, people. Does it get any worse than Game of Thrones? Have you ever stood over a Game of Thrones playfield?
    26:08
That's terrible. Led Zeppelin is terrible. I'm just going to give you the worst, the worst playfield art packages. Let's talk about that right now. Led Zeppelin is one of the worst. Game of Thrones is one of the worst. I mean, just you stand over it and you're like, this is atrocious.
    26:31
Obviously, America's Most Haunted. Everything about that game is atrocious. Oktoberfest is bad. Yes.
    26:40
But King Kong is not one of the worst. Rush. The thing about Rush is it's not good at all, but it's not as bad when you're standing over it. You know, when I saw Rush photos, I was like, oh, this is terrible. But when you stand over Rush, you kind of don't mind it. Queen is terrible. ABBA is terrible. Spooky Pinball Inc. To the public.
    27:41
The original Walking Dead is not terrible. That was the old Photoshop drag and drop period. I don't even consider Home Pin as a company.
    27:51
I mean, Haggis, let's talk about what is it? What was the first Haggis game that was just a Keltz? I mean, you know how I feel about Haggis. That company never should have made it past Keltz. That is maybe that might be the ugliest game of all time.
    28:08
So, no, the Potter AI, come on, guys. I don't, I've never liked the Godzilla art package. Never liked it.
    28:23
I've never, I still, when I see the Godzilla art package, it just doesn't look like the Godzilla on the screen.
    28:32
You know, this, look, cohesiveness is everything. And this is why Pokemon, man. And it's like, I'm so happy the Pokemon company did not let Stern alter any of its IP.
    28:44
This is how it should be. Isn't it amazing when you limit Stern's ability to creatively have freedom and they had to go with what the world loves about Pokemon and that's why it looks so good.
    29:06
Yeah, I do agree that Godzilla looks like a pickle or a watermelon. I've always felt that way. I'm going to go get some more coffee. Hold on a second, guys. Is this still blurry on like Facebook? I know it's going in and out. I don't know. Whatever. Go to YouTube. Much better. Hold on.
    29:29
Pokemon. I love this game. A typical toy entrance. Yes. Thank you. Where's Brenda's socket fun? Ozzy, where you at, bro?
    30:42
Sad boy's not here with his 50 bucks. Ozzy hasn't kicked anything in yet. Where my big hit is at? You guys know who you are.
    30:54
You don't want Brenda not to have socket tonight because then I'm not going to get any Brenda action.
    31:01
I mean, like, I don't normally talk about my wife like this, but Brenda is so hot. It's like there are times I'm like, damn, damn, I got lucky. Thank God she was a little insecure when I met her. She could have done way better than Kaneda.
    31:20
But we do make great kids and we both feel like we we leveled up. Is that Hector? Hector, where are you? Hector, you've been you've been like non-existent on the contributions as well lately, brother. I'm going to call you out. Did everybody get your Neo Geo? Spooky Pinball Re-Release. How awesome is that white Neo Geo Anniversary Edition? Man, I just ordered it. I might go get the Ultimate Bundle. I'm a little bit worried, man. Talk about like this company's taking pre-orders. Talk about like they're charging you full price. Everybody's pre-order full price. Shipping in November. I'm a little worried that this whole thing is like a Kickstarter with like AI images of the item. Nobody knows. I'm a little worried about this. I know SNK is involved with this, but man, that's millions of dollars these guys are making because everybody's buying it that I've talked to in the gaming space.
    32:13
Now that it's gone, I think Pokemon is a great looking pinball machine, but I wish it had Radcals. I'm really like – the decals are so cheap on this game.
    32:26
You know what I'm saying? I'm really worried. They're so cheap. The fingerprints, you can see some little speckles of dust underneath these decals. They don't squeegee out everything.
    32:37
You know what I'm saying? Stern doesn't put these decals on in a vacuum-sealed room with no dust. No, they're just like dudes in the factory, like two dudes with cargo shorts on in a squeegee. That's how you make – oh, man. It is lazy. No, it's not foiled at all.
    32:58
Oh, man. We got a new pledge on Patreon, Donald. Come on, who wants to take over the show with a little pledge? Come on, we got only Fizzy gave $2. That's it. Fizzy, damn. Thank you, brother. Look at you guys.
    33:16
Come on. Don't turn me into Cary Hardy where I'm going to bring a Patreon every five seconds. Cary. Thank you for watching. I mean, I know what's coming from Jersey Jack. My Kaneda Club members are going to hear it. I know it's coming from Stern. Some of it's shocking. You're going to hear it on the Kaneda Club.
    34:04
I know stuff around. I know there's some other properties. Let me like He-Man and G.I. Joe. I've got information around those where those might be coming from.
    34:19
It's going to be interesting. Interesting. Everyone's got to come with something big. The time of mediocrity is over in pinball. If you want to get people to buy your products, we are going to have to hit with big stuff.
    34:44
Excellent. Whoa. I'll tell you that Stern is going to have a really good few years. Stern has a good every year.
    35:06
I don't like Spike 3 platform as much as I wanted to. I do like the big screen. I'm waiting on the Penwoofer speaker system for this game. I talked to, is it Dan? Is it Dan who runs Pinwoofer? I think it's Dan. He just told me to wait. He said, wait, they're working on what the LE Pokemon version of Pinwoofer will be because they want to make it special for this game or make sure they know the right settings and tweeters to add to the game. So he's like, Chris, hold off. Don't buy it right now. We're going to get the proper sort of schematic for what Spike 3 should have. So I'm waiting. It sounds good. It sounds good. You know what I'm saying? It doesn't sound bad. I'm not. But, you know, I don't think it sounds as good as Dune. I don't think it sounds as good as Beetlejuice when you crank up a spooky game.
    36:11
What do you guys want to talk about? Want to go around the horn? Should we go around the horn? Can you learn the Pokemon theme song and play it on the piano for us? I can. I can certainly try. I'm sure it's not too difficult.
    36:26
The big, to me, the big, like, mystery of this year. There we go. Ozzy, thank you, brother. Ozzy, you made me wait. You made me anxious. Now I'm no longer anxious because we got Ozzy in the house. Ozzy, how is UFC, man? And those fights were crazy in Miami, bro.
    36:44
Ozzy, I bet the dude who blew out his knee to win by knockout, it was like plus 180. Dude, when he blew his knee out, I was like, I just lost like 700 bucks. And then I got back like it was crazy, like $2,100. Like it literally the guy showed him mercy and he just like stepped back and just hit him with that left. He couldn't even stand up, bro. He was like hobbling.
    37:18
It just goes to show you, man, these guys, they hit you on the butt and look, look, here we go. Now we got some. Now we're going to get Brenda sauced up.
    37:26
Justice League comic cartoon or mediocre movie. OK, so Justice League is interesting. It's not Mark Seiden's game.
    37:37
I think I know the order that Jersey Jack's about to hit with and it's going to be. Yeah, it's going to be freaking awesome. There's also something happening at JJP. Look at this. Hector, baby. 55 USD. I love it. Love the Deep Root Kaneda Classic episodes. Pure gold. Yeah, weren't they? You know what's funny, Hector, about those Deep Root Classic episodes? Is that when Robert Mueller was saying that stuff, this community believed it. You know what I'm saying? Hector, you were there. You remember this. Like Steve Bowden, man. Literally got up and did interviews. You know how you don't hear much anymore from like Jeff Teolis? You notice that?
    38:19
Like where'd Jeff go? You know, Marty and, you know, all those people that aided and abetted these people all those years are now kind of like nowhere to be found anymore in the pinball content space.
    38:35
Replaced by Mel Plays Pinball. Have you seen this Mel Plays Pinball woman? Where did she come from? I don't even like she's got pinball pictures over the years. I don't think she's like I just I think there's so many of these new content creators that have been that have popped up.
    38:54
During the Stern Media tours that seemingly have come out of nowhere. But look, I've always said this, like the more the merrier, man, I mean, and look, at least Mel, like, you know, pretty attractive woman. And I got to be honest, like playing pinball, like good. You know what I'm saying? Like we need more pinball ambassadors that don't look like they were locked up in their parents basement their whole lives. So I think it's good. It's good to get more, more diversity, more attractiveness into this hobby. I mean, nobody's more attractive than Kaneda. I mean, or Brenda, you know, this like this, this, you know, Kaneda brought sexiness back to pinball people. I know, I know, I know it's hard for some of you grown men to realize it, but this is it. This is it.
    39:42
No, I think it's great. We'll have to say hi when we see her at a show. But I think pinball content now is – but back to the deep root. It's like, dude, remember when people were interviewing Steve Bowden and he was convincing everybody these games were coming, Jeff was in on – Like they were all they were all doing these interviews, man. And they were getting people to put deposits down and not just on the deep root stuff. They would interview like Damien Harden and like nobody was asking tough questions. Nobody was calling BS. And it was all BS. It was all it was so obvious that these companies were robbing Peter to pay Paul. They were nowhere near, you know, completing games. They clearly were in financial trouble and all the warning signs were there. And yet they were given these like platforms to convince people everything was fine.
    40:44
And so I think a lot of those people lost a lot of credibility. And, you know, when I think about a guy like Steve Bowden, I actually don't think he's like this great ambassador for the hobby, Because I think he's been connected to so many, so many ridiculously failed Ponzi schemes, if you will. And like, at what point, you know, at what point, like, do some of these people go down with those ships?
    41:17
Wasn't it funny how like there was like Raza code update, like updates every day on Fun with Bone? Now, here's the unfortunate thing. If Melvin does make Raza, it is 100% the Steve Bowden code, and nothing will be really added to it.
    41:37
So, you know, I actually did preorder a Raza, and I did get my money back. So, I dodged a bullet. Well, you know, look, it's I do think our hobby has reached a point now where if you get burned by any new startup, like it's on you now. I mean, there's no there's no like there's no one else to blame. You know what I'm saying? Like there's so many legitimate companies making absolutely incredible pinball where there's zero risk you're going to lose your money. So there's no point in speculating on a startup. And this is why, you know, those new guys making Resident Evil, where are they, right? They were hitting me up like our game is imminent. It's coming Q1 2026. Haven't heard peep from them. Like, I get that you might make pinball parts, but there's, you know, it's a lot harder to make a game and get all those parts, you know, in-house and on the line.
    42:54
You know, the thing is this. Carrie, because Carrie, I didn't have my pre-order spot under my name. I had it through. I bought someone else's spot from them. And then they gave me a refund when they realized because they got the refund. Here's the thing.
    43:14
When it comes to. When it comes to like the cheerleading and then this and that. To me, the biggest.
    43:28
And I'm glad he's no longer part of the hobby. And every time he he pops his head up I will whack whack them all and back down Do you know who that is that is And it not Jeff Teel It like I don have any actually I don even like have any issues with Jeff Teel I don't think – I think in the moment, Jeff did not know enough.
    43:53
I don't. I think Steve's his friend. I think these people were his friends, and he likes to build those relationships. So you know what I'm saying? Yeah, he probably should have thought a little bit more about when Damien's releasing a game like Centaur that maybe this looks like a bad sign, right? Maybe this looks like he ran out of money to finish the Fathoms and maybe I shouldn't let him come on and convince people to put deposits on that game. Just maybe. Okay. But the dude that I will always whack them all back down is Marty. Marty, Marty, Marty. Marty McFly. Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty. Because Marty, you know Marty over from Haggis.
    44:47
What's Marty's last name again? Why do I forget it right now? But Marty was always like really smug and pretended like he didn't know, but he knew. He knew. And he not only did he know, but he he had a podcast like he was Jeff Teolis is counterpart. On the show. And what was really always upsetting was they would make a show about pinball and then not discuss the issues with Marty's Haggis company. And then, you know, to play that card that, oh, I was just an employee. I didn't. It's stupid. There was like four people working there.
    45:36
You know what I'm saying? Like, you're not you're not like there's not that excuse that you were working at Microsoft on the 15th floor.
    45:48
And you didn't know what was going on on the executive level of the company. No, you're literally at haggis. You go in the door, you know, everything that you walk through. And now we're announcing Centaur. We're screwed. Martin. Is it Martin? Martin? Martin? Anyway, but he's gone. He's gone. He'll never be back. Damien will never be back. Andrew Highway with his ice machine will never be back. Kevin Kulik will never be back. John Papaduke is a bus driver. He's a bus driver, people. I heard John's got this long beard and looks like he just looks like, I don't know, looks really, really rough. He'll never be back.
    46:39
So this hobby does a good job of ultimately weeding out. Weeding out the, you know, the people that have.
    46:49
Really created a lot of heartache for people. I mean, there are still people that have lost. I know people that are out like 30 to 50. Some people are out like $100,000 a Damien. You know, some of the dealers that bought in big. So let me ask you guys a question, because I put up all the exciting games, 2026. And someone's like, what about you, Kanye? And I'm like, what about it? Now, I'm obviously very, very, very sarcastic around you, Kanye, Eddie, and Chris, because I'll tell you a little bit why.
    47:30
I never heard from Chris in so long. The moment he's about to release you, Kanye, Eddie, I hear from Chris, right? It's like, okay, give me the assets. Cool, cool, cool. Don't take it personally. He's doing his thing. Okay.
    47:46
My thing about Turner Pinball continues to be this. I just question the taste that they have as an organization because they thought that music was good. They think this art is good. And that is, in my honest opinion, this is just one man's opinion. I don't think they have the taste to compete with what is available in the market. So, Ozzy, why did they reveal the game?
    48:36
Why? It is April. The first games are not even going to go on the line until like August. And then you you you if you ordered a game now, you're not getting it until the end of 2027, Ozzy. There will be almost 15 more pinball machines released and shipping to customers before your Yukon Yeti will even be made. My opinion is that Turner Pinball's manufacturing tardiness and slowness puts them in a position where they can't possibly be competitive in the landscape of pinball. Unless, which they clearly have, outside annuity. And it's good. I'm happy Chris is clearly a very well-off financial individual like he is. Like I've heard like he lives in a compound, bro. So the crazy Mormon money I've got, I've got some friends with crazy Mormon money. I have a lot of good Mormon friends. When I was working in the video game industry, some of my best friends in that industry and coolest dudes were Mormons. A lot of them worked at, you know, they created a company called Chair.
    50:11
They're really cool dudes. Really cool. So nice. You know, do you guys have any Mormon friends? They're some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
    50:23
Like so genuinely nice. I mean, that's why Chris is like, he's literally the nicest guy in the history of pinball. He literally is. So, Carrie, wait, you have drone footage of Chris Turner's property, but you can't share?
    50:50
Well, why not? Like, we could find it. We could look it up. I mean, I'm not trying to – we're not doxing it, dude. I mean, the thing about the modern world now is you can just see where everybody lives.
    51:09
Why is it not okay for you, Kaneda, to take two years, but totally cool to hype back to the future, which will take 10 years?
    51:18
Well, I don't. JC, you're putting words in my mouth. I think Dutch Pinball is also equally screwed on their ability to make Back to the Future games. You know what I'm saying? Two wrongs don't make a right. I think both of them are kind of going to be problematic schedules to get games.
    51:45
Some people don't want people to see their home. Kerry, how big is it? Does it have a tennis court, a swimming pool? Come on, give us some square footage, Gary.
    51:59
Gary, why'd you take drone footage of his home? That's the creepier part. Why would you drone footage his home?
    52:09
Let's start with that question. Do you bring your drone with you when you visit someone's house? I'm just curious. I don't know. Like if you come over, you can come over to my Rowayden property, Carrie, and bring a drone. You will not be impressed. I can show you my entire property with just a cell phone.
    52:36
Let me ask you a question, Carrie. But did Chris Turner, like did he make his money like somewhere else? Like, wasn't his company, like, wasn't he, like, providing snacks to Deep Root? Am I making this up?
    52:54
Like, wasn't that his, wasn't that his company with Deep Root was they were providing snacks? I don't know all the info.
    53:07
He worked at Lockheed Martin? That's awesome. I mean, I don't look. Gang, I hope everybody's successful. I literally have zero envy for people. You know, envious is the pathway to being angry and upset all day long. Like, I'm literally I'm a meager little fish in a big ocean of tons of money.
    53:36
It, you know, look, I can drive my car within three minutes, hit a house that's 20 million dollars. Right. I don't have $20 million. Think about that. Think about having a $20 million home. That means you have to have at least $100 million. At least, right?
    53:57
Probably more. And real wealth whispers, you know? You have no idea. Like, I'm in it. I know exactly my shtick. Roll around, Louis Gucci. Yeah, I've got some money, man. I've got enough money to wear that stuff. But man, real money don't wear logos. And logos aren't for the very wealthy anyway. Logos are for the, they were always, these luxury brands were always meant more for the middle class to act wealthier than they really are. I mean, but I know that. Like I go into that having fun with that.
    54:28
You know what I'm saying? And I also think fashion is a lot of fun. And I think every once in a while wearing something fun from a Gucci or a Louis or a Prada, it's fun. It makes you feel good. And like, not for nothing, a lot of these fashion houses, they really do make great clothing. Like, you look great. Now, I know we work in pinball and we talk about pinball and pinball people look absolutely horrendous with their cargo shorts, sandals, holding up trans lights, you know. But if you're a man who's in decent shape and you get a Gucci suit put on you, you're going to look like a million bucks versus getting like a Hugo Boss suit or a suit from, you know, I don't know, name like the Gap.
    55:11
And it feels good to dress up every once in a while and look, look, and also like Ozzy, you know this, man, you're going out to fight night in Miami, right? Yeah, you want a bedazzled blazer and some cool jeans and some dope shoes. It's fun. I don't wear my stuff to say I'm better than anybody because I know I'm not. You know what's funny? There's a dude, Melvin.
    55:41
Is it Melvin? He's in Vancouver. He was like the heir to the Boston pizza fortune in Canada. Billionaire. Great guy.
    55:51
Great guy. Wait. He's got all these Ferraris. He's got a LaFerrari. He's got. But I'll never forget, like we went out in New York City and the dude went into Louis Vuitton and just spent like $75,000.
    56:09
Like literally like got his wife like a hand painted Louis Vuitton bag with with like the Notre Dame on it. 75, just walked into a store and bought $75,000 worth of clothes and stuff. Like it was nothing.
    56:26
I love that moment because it was so humbling. Like it was nothing. And these are people collecting pinball machines who hem and haw about the price of LEs.
    56:39
Anyway, look, life is really short, though. You know, I've been thinking more and more about that. My mom's been going through a lot of different tests.
    56:50
We're going to find out more each day what the course of treatment will be. For those of you who don't know, unfortunately, my mother had a colonoscopy in which they found cancer. She is a cancer survivor of breast cancer from like 20 years ago.
    57:08
But she's older and it's hard. Spooky Pinball Inc. Um, those were the two real like blows that we've been dealing with now.
    57:49
The what's interesting is this and and life is really amazing, amazingly short journey. What's really interesting is sometimes. And I mean, it's more like what Brenda's going through. Spooky Pinball Inc. The cost of everything is just stupid now. So you go out and it's always 150, 200 bucks.
    60:43
Why? When you could have just had a bottle of wine at home and cooked at home and had a more meaningful conversation with the people you love versus letting other people serve you so you can see and be seen out and about all the time. And I think, you know, for us, the cutting back on the amount we go out and spend is not it's not always easy, but to me, it's like no brainer.
    61:13
So I will be absorbing. The mortgage. The daycare. The everything for now. We're not pulling the kids out of daycare.
    61:25
Brenda has been doing amazing work around the house. Her she's so much happier. Again, I think she's happier because, you know, the anxiety is gone. Now, I could easily lose my job as well at any moment. This is the modern corporate world. And it's unfortunate, but it is just the way it is. And I look at it all through the lens of when it's your time, it's your time. And nobody has any security anymore. Nobody has any control anymore. I mean, I've watched some of the people who have had who have given to these companies like decades of work. They just tap you on the shoulder one day and they send you packing.
    62:04
Well, I think the hard part, Speed Racer, is this. A lot of people are losing their jobs who like those jobs.
    62:12
That's the hard part for a lot of people. They're losing jobs they like. And there's no more jobs being offered in a lot of industries anymore for people in their 40s and their 50s or older. And there's a lot of ageism, age discrimination happening. You'd be surprised, right? I work in marketing. Even though people my age have the most marketing money to spend, like people 40 to 60 have the most marketing, they have the most money in the world. They have the most buying power, yet every agency is loading up with Gen Z kids and only focusing on younger audiences because that's how they feel they can future-proof their business.
    62:57
It's tough. It used to be like if you were talented in your industry and you had to find a job, you went on 10 interviews and you got three offers. Nowadays, people will go on 50 interviews, get no offers, and go unemployed for six months to a year or more.
    63:18
So it's tough. Ozzy, I agree. If I lose my job, I'm going right into pinball. Watch out, everybody. Watch out, dealers. I mean, I'm going to partner up with the right dealer distro.
    63:40
I will always have a job. And I've worked my ass off in the pinball industry. And I know, you know what I'm saying? You think the 15 years I've spent becoming an expert on this category that I would not then pivot to working in pinball fully, full time. 100%. So I'm not worried. I'm not worried at all. I still love what I do for a living. I still love my job. I feel honored to work on some of the things I work on. I just met with Lucas and Disney and got to see, I can't say anything, I got to see behind the scenes storyboards on the new Starfighter movie. Like just being in that meeting for me was like a dream.
    64:25
You know, to work on like M&Ms and Star Wars and, you know, Stella and Bud Light and make a little Ultra World Cup. And it's just it's fun stuff. Samsung.
    64:39
But, you know, nothing lasts forever. You know, nothing lasts forever. How have this started? Have to start with the pinball deliveries.
    64:52
My Samsung TV commercial. Wasn't that funny, honestly? Anyway, so yeah, like I give Chris Turner to go back to pinball. I give Chris Turner a hard time because I just, again, I still question their taste. Now, I know these guys, they hired, right, like two dudes who are veterans on pinball sound.
    65:14
It's cool. I'm happy. I'm glad that the game's going to get better. Quiet quitting is stronger than ever We lost over 1 employees Yeah you know what I mean look we all going to die
    65:34
I tell this to people all the time. We're all going to die. The thing about it, I always believe, the thing you should never sell out is your integrity.
    65:47
Never sell out your integrity. Too many people sell out their integrity. And I see it every day. They like their integrity is for sale. And you know what fear makes people do? It makes them even more prone to doing that. And the reason why – I mean I'm always like – I never want to – I never want to like hand over my own power completely to anybody.
    66:28
And that is why Kaneda's Pinball Podcast has probably been the most healthy thing I've ever created in my life. It's probably been the greatest therapy that is not even therapy for me that each and every one of you, unbeknownst to you, have helped me achieve a level of happiness that I would not have if I didn't have community. And I say that because I think community and friendship and bonding with people is so important. And I think humanity is the most beautiful thing. And I think when you raise children and you see humanity from the very beginning of time, right, from a newborn baby to age one, two, three, when you watch human beings grow up and you see the beauty of humanity, it is absolutely amazing. Spooky Pinball Inc. All of it. And I feel like the hardest thing for these kids to get these days is that sense of community.
    68:04
And I know we talk a lot about this because I deal with this every single day. The moment we raised a generation of boys and girls to look down upon family, to turn to technology, we destroyed humanity for a whole generation. They just don't value humanity. Like, since there's been humans, we have the least amount of women with children or married in their 30s in the history of time.
    68:48
The most amount of single men, lonely men in the history of time in those age groups. So we're all very lucky. A lot of us. We grew up the best of times. We grew up seeing the advent of technology before the internet and the tech that came into our lives made it better, made it better. And it was fun, right? Seeing the advent of going from like record to a CD, right? From record to a tape to a CD to Napster, right? We saw all that.
    69:26
Remember, we went from DVDs. Who amongst us didn't have a DVD wall in your college dorm room or in your home, right? Like how awesome was it to go to Best Buy and buy DVDs? I mean, it's just like how awesome was it to go to Blockbuster and rent a movie and watch it as a family? How awesome was it to go to Blockbuster and see the new release all sold out, right? You couldn't watch it. And, you know, I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but it's everything when you think about it right now. What did that teach us as kids?
    70:04
That the movie that you wanted to see wasn't available. And it's weird when you think about it, because this is like a little micro moment, but it taught everybody to.
    70:15
You don't always get what you want, that everything you want isn't just always going to be available, that sometimes you're going to be disappointed. You're not going to get a medal. You're not going to win. You're not going to be successful. You're not all pretty. You're not all sexy. You know what I'm saying? We grew up in a world in which people had to accept certain things and figure out how to make it work for them. Now, everybody's beautiful. You know, now it's like the beautiful people are told they're toxic and then everyone else is told they're beautiful when they're way out of shape. Completely out of shape. Obese is being, you know, like we literally in society, we got to the point where we were celebrating obesity as being beautiful. Putting it on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Magazine. Why? Who's buying that? Men.
    71:11
I don't see an overweight guy on the cover of Men's Fitness. All driven. I always go off on the soapbox. You know me. All driven by extreme, extreme progressive feminism. And it had a little window. It's gone. It still exists in the urban areas. But like, man, if you want to be happy, it's not about that. It's not about Republican, Democrat. It's about common sense. Just common sense and you'll be happy. And common sense nowadays, turn it all off. Turn off the news. It's all stupid.
    71:49
It's all stupid. One day we're bombing a place. The next day it's a peace talk. The next day it's this, that.
    71:59
Man, I've been, how many of you guys are into cars as well? I've been, I've been enjoying my little Toyota GR86, But I kind of feel like I want, I need a little bit more. I mean, I love it though. I will say like with those initial D graphics on the side, my car gets more thumbs up. And Ozzy, I know you're into cars.
    72:23
It's, you know, if people think pinball is bad, you guys should go look at what happens with Porsche collectors or Ferrari collectors. Like, let's be honest. Like we complain about pinball prices, but in the larger scheme of things, when you zoom out, grown men toys, these are cheap.
    72:44
This is one of the cheapest things for the big boys, big boy toys. This is expensive, but this isn't what the rich buy, you know? Well, yeah, like I, you know, everything's relative. Everything's relative.
    73:08
Wow. Your neighbor got the C8 ZR1. Here's my thing with the ZR1. If you have ZR1 money, you've got ZR1X money. Who would want just the base ZR1?
    73:23
You know what I'm thankful for is, and again, I don't have money. I don't have FU money. I'm thankful that we have a home that doesn't allow us to absorb overconsumption.
    73:35
I love this house. I wake up every day in a good mood. I love it. If you ever come over to Casa de Kaneda, you will be in a good mood. The energy in this house is so good. You ever notice that about homes?
    73:49
There's an energy to a home. Some homes, you can walk into huge homes. The energy is cold. It's not inviting. You walk into this home, you will be smiling ear to ear right away.
    74:05
Yeah, you know, there's this dude, I won't name names, but he like, he goes to Rueden Seafood and he's got a Patek Philippe watch on. We look it up, right? Dude's there drinking martinis every day.
    74:21
$150,000 watch, right? He pulls up in a car that only costs like 20 grand. Interesting. You know, these guys are very successful. But, you know, he's sitting at the bar every day. He's drinking martinis. And I'm like, I don't know. And then one day, like, well, this is a true story. I'm there.
    74:41
And he's like a regular. And, you know, just he's a nice guy, you know. And one day, he, you know, the bartender's busy. So they don't immediately have his martini ready and he's waiting like maybe five minutes.
    74:59
And he just starts complaining and like storms out of there. He's like, I'm out of here. Like, like, you know, like throws a hissy fit and leaves because they just were busy helping other customers.
    75:15
And and then, you know, the bartender is like, well, where do you go? I'm like, well, he threw a hissy fit and stormed out of here. The bartender who I love is like, look, good. Like that guy drinks too much and passes out in the bathroom. Like, like, like he's always he's problematic. And I'm like, you see, it's like, I don't know, to me, like all the money in the world. If you end up at a bar drowning your sorrows every day in martinis, to me, that's not a healthy, healthy way to end up in life. Yeah, I met this couple yesterday. Seven kids.
    75:54
Another blended family, man. The amount of blended families, it's amazing. Like, she's got four, I've got three. But, like, it's just, I just, like, and I'm, it's shocking to me the amount of rich people that just don't stick it out. You know, they don't stick it out. The moment marriage gets tough, they're out. Yeah.
    76:21
I don't know, man. I don't know. All I know is, and I mean this, Killian and Cassian will, until the day I die, will have just Brenda and me as their parents. I'm never thrusting them into another family.
    76:43
Look, I will say this. Unless one of us passes away early and you still – I get that's different. If we're both still alive, we are together through thick and thin. I think people forget the vows of marriage. They're very clear. They're very clear what the marriage vows are.
    77:05
Good times – it's all there. The good times, the bad times, sickness and the health, it's all there.
    77:14
It's all there. I think I think, look, I think a lot of it. And I mean, this when I say this, I think a lot of divorce and a lot of these things is like I think a lot of a lot of issues happen because people also just drink too much. Because I think the drinking leads to abuse. I think it leads to unhealthy relationships. I think it leads to selfishness. Selfishness. And, you know, you got to be careful. Got to be careful. I tell this to myself. I mean, I'm literally I tell this to myself as well.
    77:51
You got to be careful as a grown adult not to let the vices take over. You know, sometimes, you know, if you want to have a good time as an adult and you just you got some time to kill, you don't have to hit the bottle. Just read them. Read a Michael Crichton book. Go read a Michael Crichton book. You know what I'm saying?
    78:14
Anyway, how's everybody doing? We got five more minutes. I know we went off topic, but, you know, I got some big, big news and exclusives I'm about to give the Kaneda Club members. Thank you, Ozzy, Hector.
    78:26
I think Sad Boy. Did we get Sad Boy in here today? I don't know if Sad Boy hit, but you have once again successfully contributed to the Brenda Sake Fund.
    78:37
Would love to hang with you guys locally if any of you guys are near Connecticut. Like, let's get together. My wife wouldn't let me get a girlfriend when I turned 50. Oh, man, Newton, that's funny. That's funny. You know, it's funny is like other cultures like France. It's like actually acceptable to have a mistress. Now, you could argue maybe the French have figured out the key to happiness is that I just can't imagine Brenda ever being happy with me being like, you know, I'm going to go with my mistress tonight and vice versa. You know, men are always funny men. It's like men want those things, but imagine the moment your wife asked for that, how quickly you would change your tune.
    79:19
UFC tonight? Oh, going to New York in November to the Garden fight. Let's go. Ozzy, let's do it. Ozzy, can you get me a ticket? I'll pay for it.
    79:31
Ozzy, you got yourself a deal, brother. I'll be there. Ozzy, here's what we're going to do. We're going to go.
    79:37
Let's do this, Ozzy, because the fight will be later. Let's go. Ozzy, man, I love you, brother. Ozzy, here's what we're going to do. We're going to do the Japanese jazz bar. We're going to hit it at five because it opens at five on a Saturday, which is perfect because then we'll bounce out of the Tomi jazz at seven and then just head to the garden and just chill, bro, and have a great night.
    80:02
Right. And if we have enough time and I need like a babysitter, bring Brenda. Let's do it, brother. And all that's on me, man. Nobody rolls through my city and puts out their credit card at my favorite bar. You know, let's double date. Yeah, we'll get Brenda out. She'll love it. She'll love it. See how it is, man. See how great it is. And then we can get her. We can get her the sake in person. Look, it's all, this is it. This is it. You know, all the money in the world, all the big homes, all the private schools, all the cars, all the clothes, all the pins, nothing's more fun than getting together with your friends, having a few beers, and just talking about life.
    80:49
Right? Playing some pin. You know, for all the people that hate Pokemon, if they came over here and we had a few beers and we played, how would we not have fun? That's what I don't get. The anger these men have about this game that's bringing so many people joy really, really makes them look like idiots. It's really weird to be angry about something bringing joy. Hey, screw the book. Where's the sake? Yeah, totally bad. Yeah, don't get me wrong, man. When I'm bored, I am popping open a Michael Crichton book. I'm heading to like a restaurant to chill with my friends. I've made some really good friends locally. It's great. That was something I was very worried about when I moved from New York City to here. You get older and it's really hard to make friends later in life. And I was very fortunate to meet a really good group of guys. And we've been friends now for over a year. And, you know, when you meet men later in life, you know, and then, you know, some of them you become a little bit closer to because you have your interests are more similar. But it's so important.
    81:58
And Brenda's made she's got she's made a great group of women friends that are right on the block. They play Mahjong every every week.
    82:08
She's she's she's found a new community. And I will say, like, when you find your community and you find your tribe, life is good. You got to find it at work. You got to find it at home. And then first and foremost, always take care of your immediate family first. That is number one. That is what my dad always told me. Always take care of your immediate family first before you look to help everybody else out. Make sure you put enough away for your immediate family. Do not sacrifice them for others.
    82:50
You know, and I will say this, like, and this is maybe too much information, but like this is one of the reasons why I like with Brenda and her family, like they didn't always put the immediate family first, you know, and I saw the effects of that. Same with my dad and his family. Spooky Pinball Inc. Jackass, you know, it's only when you go work in the same world that your parents worked in and work through that you really and also become a parent yourself that you realize it really that is the moment. I mean, when you really become a parent yourself.
    83:54
You you now know the sacrifice they made. You now know what you did to them because they were just like us.
    84:03
They had freedom. They had the life in front of them. They were young and having fun and then you landed on their world like a comet and blew up all of that. And they had to make the decision to be selfless and provide.
    84:19
And that takes a lot of effort. But in return, it provides the most valuable thing in the world, which is love, baby. And I love doing Kaneda's Pinball Podcast. I love the rumors I'm about to give you guys this week. I hope you guys all have an amazing Saturday. Thank you so much for all the contributions. You Facebook people, I think it's been blurry the whole time. I'm sorry. But for the 10 of you on Facebook, we have 123 people. Do you not have YouTube?
    84:50
Do you seriously not have YouTube? I don't even know why. I don't have a single star on Facebook. I think we just stopped doing this on Facebook. You know, no one's going to like. No one's going to find out about this show now that doesn't know about this show. Should we get Mel Mel plays pinball on here? Should have Brenda interview Mel plays pinball. That'd be good. Get two women talking about pinball. But I think it's good. I think everybody making pinball content is good. I think the more the merrier. I think Stern, you know, it's funny when you go on YouTube and you see all the newbie content creators and pinball. Like making pinball content.
    85:31
It's fine. It's just, just know this. When Kaneda rolls up to a pinball company, I'm not rolling in on the day when the circus is there. So if I want to see a Stern Machinery like Transformers, you think I'm going to go on the media circus day with all the other clowns? And I say clowns just as a joke, but I'm not doing that.
    85:58
I will go either before or after with a more private exploration of the game. The same, you know, I will say, though, I still think only Jersey Jack does it right. They fly us in. They treat us like true content creators. They don't invite everybody. And they, you know, they pick up the tab because they know they're asking us to take a day off of work and they know they're asking us to take a day away from our families. That's how you do it. The fact that people spend money out of their own pocket to go to Stern to make content to help Stern sell machines is so stupid.
    86:43
It's so stupid because none of them are making any money. It's different if the New York Times reporter can't accept travel money from a company because he's paid by the New York Times.
    86:58
All right. Namaste, people. Namaste. Namaste. Be good. Let's go play some Pokemon. Later. Later, Facebook.
    87:16
    Thank you.
