Oh wait, what is that? Is that the WAP coming back? A wave of WAP for every girl and cop. What's going on? We've got Don and Cengiz here, back again. After 30 days, we are back with a WAP to WAP you in the face. What's up, my buddy? Oh yeah, everything is good, man. It's summer, it's 2024. You are happy, I'm happy. This is WAP episode 8. How are you, Donnie? So many things have happened in the last 30 days. We got rid of Haggis Pinball. They're gone. Stern's dropping accessories, code updates, left and right. And what I've heard, and we can talk about this, we're going to have another cornerstone from Stern, like, in the next seven days. Oh, yeah. I can't wait. We're so lucky we have Stern in this world. they're just putting out these awesome games every three months if you didn't like the theme with john wick i love the theme you can just wait and three months later you will get another game we love stern this is this is awesome man can you wait what do you think that the next game will be it's like the chicago Carl Weathers they say if you don't like the Carl Weathers wait 10 minutes and then it'll change so maybe that's that's their strategy okay so what i am hearing we'll leave with this is uh x-men it's gonna be uncanny x-men comic book inspired jack danger that's what i've heard so far oh man what do you think about jack danger design come on i have well i i loved everything that he's made so far even that the the cool little jump ramp on the jurassic park home edition that he did that was fun the first time i played foo fighters i was already planning on probably buying it but i stepped up to a pro and when i saw that great those shots flowed one to another i'm like this game this is amazing i'm so happy with my future purchase went and confirmed it got the premium enjoyed it 500 plays through that it was great look foo fighter is awesome the music the shots and layout the gameplay light show on that game is awesome and i just love what this guy is doing and I'm sure that his X-Men game is gonna be at least maybe much much better we don't know that yet but he has got so much passion in his heart he has been playing pinball for many many years I mean I hope that he takes all the great stuff from all the you know designs from 30 years back until now and just put them in his game so I'm looking forward to it man maybe we should just wait one week to do this show but uh we couldn't wait much longer couldn't we could be that will give us an excuse to do another one next week so that's not a problem at all what i'm hoping is maybe he was holding back a little bit with foo fighters since it was his first cornerstone and so now he's like okay yeah no that worked good let's let's go put the weird stuff in here and we see some just like some bonkers do you think so i think i think he i think he put in as much as he could on Foo Fighters because it was his first cornerstone. He just wanted to come in with a bang. Don't you think that? I'm glad he brought that dead post that pops up. That thing is so awesome. That's from him. Yeah. I'm trying to put myself in his space. I would still think like, you know, I don't want to be like too weird that I turn people off. But I don't know, man. I love what he brought. I just want more of it. Absolutely, man. Absolutely. Can't wait. But let's talk about that next week. Absolutely. This week, on Episode 8, we have got so many news. We have got so many cool code updates. I mean, we love, of course, new pinball release day, but code updates, introducing more stuff, deeper ruleset, it's so good. How many updates have you got for the last month now? Like five or something? Yeah, I know three really stand out. I mean, the updates for Jaws, the updates for John Wick, and the updates for Looney Tunes at my household have been ruling the roost. That has been awesome. So cool, man. And I can see something in the background there. Is it the Wrestling LE? Oh, is that the LE WrestleMania, brother? Yes. Oh, yes. We're going to talk about that also. So we're going to dive into our pin side top 100 list, and we have reached from 40 to 60. And 40 to 60 is really interesting because these games, when you go over number 50, these games are cheaper games, lesser desired games, and some of those games are underrated. So I'm really looking forward to dive into this. But before we start, I just want to say, usually we came out with saying we're going to do this, Don and I, and we're going to make one or two shows every month. And when we started that, we did about a show every week or something. And our listeners were just like, okay, a new show every week. And now it's summer. We're outside. We're doing everything else and pinball. And I'm telling you, I just want to say to everybody that has reached out and said, where's your shows? Come on, we will miss more WAP episodes. Thank you. And every time you write to me or you guys write him to Don, he calls me up. I call him up. And we're like, check this out, man. It's so cool. But we're back, baby. We're back. How fun is that, too? Yeah, dude. I love getting the messages from everybody. And I'm like, okay, let's give them what they want. We will bring it. Absolutely, man. So which code updates have you tried? All right, so John Wick. Yeah, John Wick. I just put the new one in there. I like how they're doing this daily randomization with one of the multiball modes, which I kind of think is cool. Now, this game started out very rudimentary with its code. This is the multiball that starts when you bash the car. The car on the premium swings out. You hit that to qualify it, and then the orbit shot will start it. I think it's similar kind of on the Pro. It's through that left orbit shot. But then it would start with the motorcycle chase, and then the next one was the second, then the third, then the fourth, if you were good enough to play that long, which I am not. So I've done so much of that helicopter encounter. That was the first one that came up. So now every day it will switch up to a different one starting first. So now I've been able to see the other ones without having to take the glass off. So thank you for that. I've gotten those other achievements now. That's the most notable thing I've seen, that and more Keanu Wick call-outs. I'm so excited for that. I was worried when the game came out and I first started playing it, and I wasn't hearing those iconic lines from him that maybe they didn't get the rights. But, no, they did. They're just slowly working their way in now. So, yeah, man. Yeah, I think I'm back. Oh, God. I love that line. I love it, man. It's what you want to hear, man, and it's in there now. It shows up kind of randomly when you first start a game. Every now and then you'll hear it. It's like, yes. Well, on my YouTube channel, I reviewed the pro version, and I must say I really don't understand the hate that the game is getting because just the pro alone it's a fast shooting game it's an awesome awesome theme I really enjoyed it man I don't I don't get the hate that it's getting but I don't know I think I think the days where Stern released these games with unfinished or lesser finished codes are over because you can see when they release these games with lesser codes in them just like stranger things it had no code done when that game came out what happened nobody wanted to buy it and and this one it didn't have the best code inside and what happened people doesn't want to buy it that way anymore okay We know Stern, we trust in Stern They will, they will update their games But I remember when I unboxed Godzilla When I unboxed Jaws I mean, Jaws was six months ago The code was great And I got one of the first ones Not great, but it was much It was fleshed out More playable, if you know what I mean What there was, was the modes all had Video clips with them, they all had music And call outs, and that's what's missing with John Wick now, and then it was really missing on James Bond, man. Yeah. Now, I think that was partially, most of that was a slow licensor with approval. But John Wick, I think they're just still a little bit early with it. But right now, like the modes for Wick, they're just completely silent almost, you know, and it's just the same music. So once that kicks in, this game's really going to get more recognition, I think. Absolutely, man. I hope someone from Stern is listening. I hope they're thinking, okay, look at those numbers. We need to, I mean, I just hope next week or whatever, where the next corner screen comes out, that the code is, you know, .95 or something. You know what I mean? That will really kick some ass, and we are all waiting for Jack Danger's upcoming game. I just don't hope they will come out with, you know, .69 or something. That would be a disaster, I guess. I mean, you know, we want the games to come out, you know, so you have to have a balance of, you know, we don't want to have them wait two years to release this so it's code complete on release, but that we don't want it so early that it just kind of sours everybody to the game, and then it's got to slowly win back a reputation. So I think there's a balance there. And then plus they have to juggle, you know, they have a release window that they've set up with the licensor where they have to meet these certain dates. So sometimes, you know, they've got to get it out by a certain day, you know, to honor that part of the contract. So I know it's a mix and everything. But the one thing that's great is if they communicate with us. And this was great about going to Stern with the John Wick release. We were able to go through the game with Elliot and Tim Sexton, and he's showing us some beta code of what they have in store, and that inspired a lot more confidence in them. Seeing where they were taking it just wasn't ready for release. So doing that, having the communication to tell what the vision is for this game so we have an idea when it's time to purchase them, I think is important. I mean, it's easy for us to say they could just hire more coders and stuff like that. But we have all seen what happened behind the scenes with Haggis. After that, you know, one's perspective, one's respect for Stern just improves. Because look at how much stuff they have to do in the background. I mean, they have to pay the rent, pay all the workers, pay all the designers, pay all the coders. There's just so much going on in the background that we don't think about. We're like, they just buy the license and some dude codes it. There's just so much going on. But I just hope for the sake of a sales success that it comes out with 0.95. I think when they have their board meetings at Stern, they're like, this doesn't work anymore. We need to do something more. We need to give them something more. We don't need another James Bond launch. And Venom's code was okay, but that, I don't know. That game, I only unboxed the Pro. I haven't played the others, but you know how that went. And what came after Venom? Venom was Jaws. Yeah, I mean Jaws. But Jaws was probably done for a while, I think. Yeah, he said that, man. He said that. When he talked about Jaws, he was talking about he was done with the next game. But the thing with Jaws, okay, the thing with Jaws, I don't want to be mean. Okay, so I talked with my brother, right? And he was like, okay, from now on, we know how the industry is. And he's like, we're going to see the game. Is it well-designed? Is it good? Is it cool? Is it a theme that we can use for location games, right? and we're just talking what should we buy what should order and then we we talk about the future purchases and then my bro he says yeah but no matter what the next elwyn game we're just gonna order it no matter what yeah yeah yeah that's if it's an empty play field and it's you know elwyn he's just gonna buy it and so yeah with jaws i don't care what he make but it's gonna be a success that guy or uh his team is just come on donnie and you have tried all his games yeah i mean the dude is a machine as far as like you know being the leader of the group coordinating everything taking his vision and putting it in there and i feel like like he doesn't just design a layout and step away i mean he's in there participating with the code so like his layout he already has some code ideas in mind and i think that's what really separates you know his line of game from everybody else you know as great as they are this dude just just so cool and it's so cool like he had jaws done turned and made bond 60th and then i think he did his next game after jaws and that one's already done too like the dude just keeps going man have you played his bond 60th absolutely donnie i'm gonna ask you something yeah if stern wants to sell very easy 500 or a games okay i know you like the new stuff with rams but we are so many people that also likes the classics don't you think if stern buys whatever license uh night rider i don't care something he man and takes that bond 60 layout removes those reels on the uh back glass just put and normal as a CD. I love how this is going. And sells that for a pro, yeah, pro and premium. Just a pro, man. What is it, 7,000? I mean, that layout, it's so sad that it goes to waste, can I say that? Because it's only 500 games out there. If that became a white label layout for just a simple pro game for, like, Magnum PI and you put Tom Selleck's mustache on the back glass, I will buy that today. absolutely and you like all the new stuff with rams and all that but that layout is so cool that you want to buy they should just make a pro remove the reels on the back on the backbox that's just a pro game man there you go uh just grab the predator license drop it right on that layout instant thousand seller simple insider with insider connected can you imagine predator Any 80s action movie, I don't care if it's any Arnold, any Sylvester Stallone, oh, it would be, come on, man, I hope they do something with it. So on our last episode, we talked about Jaws. And I was like, I have this Jaws phobia because I watched that movie as a kid. And you said, it's actually a good movie. Oh, fantastic. You should watch it. Yes. Yeah, you said that. And I was like, I'm going to listen to my buddy here. And I watched Jaws. Okay, I watched it actually. We don't have that much shark action in it, and it's actually a good, good movie. Yes. It was late night. I was alone, and I watched it. It was a good movie. That guy they hired to kill the shark. I don't remember his name now. They use his boat. Do you remember his name? The orca. Yeah, the actor's name? Quint is his character. Yeah, in the movie. That guy, he irritated me a bit because he made some dumb moves. I mean, he sped up the boat, and one of the other guys, don't, you know, that high rev, the engine will blow, and what happens one minute later, the engine blows, and he makes some dumb moves. They're calling for help, and he smashes the radio. Yeah, also that. I'm like, what? And it explains he was in a war where he dropped the Hiroshima bomb. But there were so many deeper stuff in there. And when I watched that movie, then all the video clips in the pinball machine, it makes so much sense. And all of a sudden, that topper that looked ridiculous for a guy like me, when I watched the movie, it makes so much sense. Now that Tupper of Jaws, it's so awesome. It's so funny. It's so well made. Everything made sense. The shark is only there in order to give a reason for these characters to get together and go on a quest, and that's what the movie is. Quint is man's fallacy. Quint is man's hunt for the unachievable. It's going too far in the quest for perfection that you go too close to the sun and crash and burn. It's the Icarus story with a shark on the water. there's so much deeper meaning to this I love that world man I love me some Jaws and when it starts you can hear just like when you start a new game in the Jaws pinball machine that high pitch you know happy happy tunes I love it it starts like that and then every time you plunge the ball you're going out to work for the day you're like alright happy day at the beach it's almost July what can happen we're going to need a bigger boat oh yeah It's so good It actually reminds me of When you start a new game In Lord of the Rings It's like this guy Happy choose And then This is going to be hard Thank you for the recommendation What a great movie Now this game is in another league For me I cannot wait to play some more Jaws I mean my unboxing video was very positive but now it just makes so much more sense. Talking about positivity. Yes. Yes. You must have heard that some people are saying we're just shields and positive all the time. Have you heard that? If I am, where's all my kickbacks? I mean, there was this guy. He was called Johnny or something. He wrote that it's just positive, positive, positive. And I said, no, look at my video I did about Batman 60 Sucks. So I sent that video. And I also said that go in and listen to our WAP episode something where we talked about Batman 66 on our top 100 list. I mean, we don't just love all pinball. So people should just chillax. We love pinball. We have a lot of passion, but the games has to be good. Yeah, absolutely. I'm not going to make you go buy something that I know sucks, right? Absolutely. At the same time, I'm only going to waste time talking about things that I'm interested in, right, and I want to be enthusiastic about. If I'm spending all my time just tearing things apart, I'm going to go find another hobby because that's not fun. But some people like it, Donnie. Yesterday, I made a – last week, I made a video on my YouTube channel. talking about the market crash yeah and you know what for the first time i think for this year my pinball video got six thumbs down i mean people were angry why are you talking about this why are you addressing this i mean it's not something i'm addressing it's something that is happening right now it has happened for all 2024 with the crash on these prices and some guy wrote man i was you know out in it's summer donny so i was out in nature you know and he was like you cannot mix nature the sun a lake with pinball talk this sucks i want to see pinball machines only why are you outside i'm like mr obesity just block my channel and sit down i mean he was so angry you cannot mix these two things together why are you like that just because you're a pinball collector You don't want to go out. You don't like the sun. I mean. That guy's mad at something, and you just happen to be in the way. So, yeah, I would just let that go ahead and play by itself. Yeah, some people. I don't know, man. It is what it is. Donnie, come on, man. Let's talk about the most hated, the lowest rated Stern pinball machine, the WWE World Wrestling Federation. Ding, ding, ding. I love in that game the fact that it enrages haters even makes me love it more. So, like, I played the game on location, and it was a pro. And I'm like, okay, yeah, there's not a ton to this game. And then, you know, I was still kind of early to pinball. And then I saw your video, right, with your pro. And I saw the level of enjoyment you were having with it. Yes! Now, you were playing the game where you could hear the audio and the music and the call-outs. It was that era of wrestling from 2005, 2010. And it was like, all right, now I'm starting to get it. Maybe I want to go back and play that game again. Maybe not own it, but go play it again. And then I found out about the LE, where they only made 400 of them because it was back in 2015 before they made 5,000 LEs of everything. I saw that Hulk Hogan's autograph was in there. I saw that you could pick more characters in the game. Like there was really a lot more in that LE than what we're seeing nowadays where it's, you know, pop bumpers to drop target and like an extra upper playfield. Like there was like five different things at least in there. You have gold armor. You have extra screen. You have the spinner on the upper playfield. You have that chair that goes out. You have so much more stuff on the LE. And gold, just gold. And Hogan's autograph. So I was like, you know what? Okay, fine. All right, I'll keep my eyes open. And if I happen to find that golden one that's got less than 100 plays and it's a good price, maybe I'll pick it up for fun for a little bit. And then it happened, and I found one. And, oh, man, less than 100 plays. Plays phenomenal. No dimples anywhere except for on John Cena's cheeks. I love it. And how much did you pay? $6,000. For an Ellie, man, for an Ellie. $6,000. For like a basic frame. Did you get some hate on it? Did you get some hateful comments? Not so much. The people that reached out are like, actually, I think I'll take another look at that machine. And I think it's good to go back to it now with the perspective we have now where every machine is $25,000. Go back, and there's a lot of fun gameplay in there, especially if you like that license, which I do. Yeah. I'm having so much fun. I'm modding the heck out of it. Oh, my goodness. Oh, yeah. Can I talk about the mods? so my pinball happiness just jumped over to you and you bought this beautiful beautiful game and you're enjoying it yeah that's what you're telling me you're enjoying it that's so amazing so you have i want to ask you because i really want to buy the limited edition but they're they're nowhere right so and you have played the pro version of wrestlemania so when you have when you choose Hulk Hogan, of course you will get the Hulk Hogan's music. I am a real American. It's so good. I love it. I go back to 1992 when they smashed everything. But how is the gameplay when, I mean, is there something different in the LE? How is it? I want to try it. I want to hear about it. Yeah. So, I mean, the big thing, there's the extra wire forms that are fun. There's the extra flipper, which does add some, you know, kinetic satisfaction there plus it's got that extra little metal blade above the flipper so you can knock the ball off of the wire form as it's coming down to the in lane that's fun every time i do it um you know people have argued whether the spinning disc really adds anything now if you get the balls up there in the ring and the discs start spinning now the balls are running around the ring like wrestlers so like that's cool it's a little frustrating because it makes the ball much more random when you're trying to pin and get it in that final lock um so i can see why some people would be like all right I don't think it adds a lot. For me, I think it's fun, especially when there's two balls up there and the balls are wrestling back and forth with each other. But that's the thing that I like the most, that and the extra players and that extra screen that's right there. And it's in the play field so you can see it. You're not looking up at the back glass. So this is fun. This is fun. I like it for those reasons. Yeah. I mean, that extra screen is just located at the perfect place where your eyes are looking. So it's so good. So I presume you have updated to the newest code, of course. Absolutely, yeah. And I've been modding the heck out of it. If you go into the options and say that the upper flippers shouldn't flip all the time, or do they just flip on the flip? No, they get activated when the ball is up there. Yes, because my game was just, they were just flipping all the time. I was like, what's going on in here? But you can go in and deactivate them, so they're just activated when the ball is up there. and there is an official stern mod that came out to this game back in 2016 where you put in some wires onto the playfield but with that mod when you activate the fight in the ring ding ding it will turn off all the other lights and all the light is concentrated on that upper playfield in the ring do you have installed that mod i just installed that a few weeks ago yeah and it's fun it's fun because when you get up there yeah most of the gi just goes dark and it's like all right with his ring time Such a good feeling because when the ball then exits the ramp and you have what five exits or something you have a lot of exits from ramp as soon as the ball goes out then everything just lights up again it gives this whoa amazing effect because it's a very lit up game um it looks so good that i love that and like it helps if you understand wrestling because what's happening is when you drain out of the ring it's like you got thrown over the top rope or you jumped out through the ropes or something and now you're fighting and battling like outside the ring and then you shoot the ball back up there get back in the ring and it's like okay now let's go for the pin right and all that hold it so well all that allows you to build up your bonus for the pin exactly man it does because at the beginning i was like when i you know when the ball goes out at the right side i was so irritated and frustrated but it's okay because when you're at the lower play field you're like oh the normal play field when you hit some different targets it's like body slam, elbow slam, and you build up that bonus, and you can come up there again and finish your fight with much, much higher bonus points. It's so good. Have you went to the World Championship or International or American Championship or Tag Team? What have you done? I've got the American one. I love that. On my machine, it happens when you pin two opponents. So you start the game, you go to the play field. When you pin your first guy, then you're playing around again. and you hit the drop targets twice, and then it says, it just goes into announcement mode. It's like returning to the ring. It's like, oh, yes, the next battle. Let's get up there and get it. I love that moment. Yeah. Coming in at 320 pounds from Miriwaz City. It's so good. From Death Valley, the Undertaker. Like, oh, God, yes, yes, more of that. I mean, and Donnie, for $6,000, I mean, do you know how I got my game? I had a Revenge from Mars. I don't even know where I got it from, and I think I got it for free or something, and I put it up for sale. A Revenge, not Attack from Mars, Revenge from Mars. You're not talking about 2000. Yeah. Yeah, I put it up for sale, and as soon as possible it came out for sale. There was this guy, hey, I got this wrestling pin. I don't get it. I have like four or five other Bella Williams games. He had Indy 500 and, yeah, some belly games from the 90s. And he didn't get – he hated the theme. He hated wrestling. And he never played this game. So he just hit me up. He said, do you want to trade? I was like, an even trade? He was like, hell, yeah. If you say, yeah, I will come with the game. I will trade at your place. I was like, dude, just come over here. and he just came with this game i was like it's it and and my game is clear-coded on top of everything wow the awful play field everything clear-coded i was like are you serious and we're like yeah let's do the trade and we did the trade a week later i hit him up he was like so happy he said well this pinball 2000 is so great how many games are out there and i said There's a Star Wars one. If you're lucky, there is a Wizard. They were planning on doing a Playboy version of that game, of Pinball 2000. Oh. And a Wizard. Wizard something. That's new information for me. I didn't know that. No. Okay. Okay. I don't know. It was only on prototype stage, but yeah, man. Oh, that reminds me of. So my brother, he buys everything. So then he just, hey, look at this box. So I checked it out. It was like last year. Then he bought, I think it was from the U.S., he bought a brand new in-box play field for the Pinball 2000 for Star Wars and Revenge from Mars in William's box. I was like, what? So it was so cool. So the plan was when you bought these Revenge from Mars, then you could just put it on location, and then you could buy a new kit with the new play field, and it could just take out the old play field and just slide in the new, and the new Prism card. It has this PCI card. You just put it in the computer, and you could play other games. The idea was really cool. What a fantastic idea. Have you tried one of those, Pinball 2000? Yeah. The technique behind it? No, no. It's so easy. I've played both of them, but I've never swapped them out. Oh, okay. I mean, the cables are so long, you can take it out, put it on the ground, and five or six clips, and you can just remove the play field. It was so good for its time. It's so sad what happened. I think it was just at the wrong company at the wrong time, you know, because they just decided to pivot away from pinball altogether. Because it's not like the idea was bad, and the games are kind of fun. I mean, on my YouTube channel, I have this little documentary. I don't know if you have watched it. You can see George Gomez in there talking about it with so much passion. He did this with Pat Lawler, and they programmed on his Amiga 2000. And my YouTube channel is about pinball, but also Commodore 64 and Amigas. And it just, everything hits me. It's just, I love that story. I have watched that video multiple, multiple times. I love it, man. And, yeah, George Gomez in there. He makes us, everybody cry in that video. Oh, man. Oh, man. I hope you have watched it. Yeah. All right. Donnie? Yes? Is it time for the pinball top 40 to 60 on Pinside List? The pinball top 40. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I think so. I think we're ready. Before we do that, have you played the Princess Bride? Twice. Okay. How was it? Because you have been on different locations. I just want to ask, how was it? It's okay. It shoots really well. It's really approachable. It's easy to hit the center shot, the right and left orbits. There's some fun things that go on with it. Huh? Some people are talking about the flipper feeling. How was it? Oh, it felt fine to me. I didn't notice that it was really any different than any other Multimorphics. How was the swords on the armor? On the side, you mean? Yeah. Okay, I did play that version. Does it look cool? Yeah, it definitely looks cool. Who wouldn't want to have swords on the side of their machine, man? I want swords on every machine. Yeah, they were cool, and they didn't really get in the way like I kind of thought they might have. When you're playing, the handle of the sword is kind of sitting in your hand, but you can still reach the flippers just fine. It was comfortable enough. Oh, the fun thing to do was when you got frustrated and you drained, you could reach forward and grab those swords and just, like, shake the crap out of the machine. Okay. I found myself doing that. It was fairly pleasurable. Yeah. Have you sold any games? Jaws has been sold. I think that was the most recent one. Do you still have your Pulp Fiction? Absolutely. I just put the shaker motor in it, and it does add some fun little characteristics to it. So, yeah, Pulp Fiction is still here. Lebowski is still here. I don't know for how long. We'll see. The Pulp Fiction, Ellie, is on the way from CGC? Finally. That's what just dropped. Yeah, I've been hearing rumors that November, December, it would start coming. But then it's kind of like you always hear that it's three months away and it just keeps changing. But now I guess they're talking about the end of next month, the first ones may be leaving a factory. So all you topper enthusiasts, there you go. I think so much time has passed that some of the early buyers that couldn't wait because this movie, this theme was awesome in the 90s. I think some of those guys actually went ahead and bought the standard version. And now with the Illys coming out, don't you think some of those guys will put their standards in the market to get their Illys? Don't you think it will give this price – what's it called? Dump on the standard version? Right, yeah. So think about this. That was like some of the last great FOMO before the market corrected was with Pulp Fiction, right? Everybody just went out and got it. Now you're sitting around for a year seeing everybody play this game thinking, well, I can go out for $8,000, buy the standard edition, and then turn around, sell my standard edition for $8,000. That's going to be the price that I have to pay for my LE after the deposit, and it's all win-win, right? And then with it taking so long and the market changing, I was thinking, man, when that LE finally does come out, I think people aren't going to be as excited anymore for it. But, you know, and for sure, if you picked up a standard and you have your LE and final payment is now due, that would be an easy thing for me to think, yeah, go ahead and put it out there, which would absolutely just stonk the whole market. Yeah, that's what I have been thinking about. But it's still an awesome game. It's fun. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. But I think the play field is the same on the standard and LE, right? Yeah, that's the same. There's nothing different there. That's how Stern is winning when they do some stuff on the play field. If you want premium price, you need to give something more on the play field. It's so important. We all love Tupper, some blah, blah, blah. But some more stuff on the play field, that makes it for me and for a lot of other guys. Yeah, like if there was an extra play field or an extra mechanism or something that was in there on the LE, that would be a point of difference. But remember that LE was only $1,000 more in this case. So essentially you're just getting, you know, paying for the topper, that chrome speaker grill, and the bad mother flipper wallet that goes on the apron. And mirror blades. So I put mirror blades in. I put a shaker motor in. So I have everything except for the wallet and the chrome thing and the topper. Yeah. It's okay, man. Still, is the speakers the same? That's important. Yeah. The audio. Yeah, they're the same. Okay. Then it's fine with the standard. Don't panic. Okay, don't panic. It's fine, man. It is what it is. All right, cool. So the way we do this Pinside Pinball Top 100 is we take a game at its number, and then we talk about does it deserve that number, that place, and does it deserve that money that it costs right now. So we know some games are going up, some games are coming down. It is what it is, but let's just see what we have got. Today is August 20th, 2024. And at number four, we have got Jersey Jack 2013 Wizard of Oz. What do you think about Woz? Is this at number 40? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, it's all right. I feel like a silly grown man when I play it, but I do have fun. I feel like an old man when I play it. I also had fun. All those rainbow colors, cool. Is it a I want to buy it and bolt it to the floor game? Not for me. For you? No. No. We have got two on locations. Are they popular? Not really. Hey. But that game was a ground-shaking big screen game. It was an important game. Yeah. I have so much respect for that game. I love the trees on the pop-upers, like you go into a pop-up forest. If we can get that kind of stuff, hopefully we're seeing some of this Alice in Wonderland will have some of the Wizard of Oz magic in it, I'm hoping, from the little pictures that we've seen. That's what's got me excited. And I think this take on Alice's adventures in Wonderland is a bit more of a comfortable theme for an older man to get than Wizard of Oz would be. So cautiously optimistic there. But yeah, groundbreaking game. I don't need to have one, but I do play it on location. There is one thing about Wizard of Oz that I have always loved from day one. So this game has got two playfields. The upper right play field has got this house that turns around. But at the upper left side, on that play field, you have got this little flipper, and you bash into a door. And when you have bashed the door enough, the door opens. and you shoot in there, it's such a feel-good thing that we need more pinball machines with that kind of interactivity. I love it on that game. It's so cool. The price of that game, I don't know, is it an expensive game? Not here in Denmark. How is it in the U.S.? It's not too bad now. You can find them. I've had friends trying to list them, and they're still kind of sitting. So I think you can wheel and deal on it. We should do at some point a countdown of like the best upper playfields. I mean, when we have time, I have listed so many top ten ideas. I love best jackpot feelings. You know, when you hit jackpot and it gives the light show, the music, the call out. Yeah, so many ideas. But yeah, best upper playfields, why not? Perfect. And under playfields also. They all suck. All right. Next game, number 41. This game you have owned Rick and Morty. Oh, my God, Rick and Morty. I love me some Rick and Morty, man. Wait, wait, wait. Before we talk about that, I can see you have your Rick and Morty T-shirt on. Yeah, so cool, man. I just want to say thank you to everybody. Have you shipped out all the T-shirts they have ordered? All the orders are caught up. Yeah, thanks to everyone that's ordered. I still have some extra largest left. Yeah? $25 shipping the US. People have been writing, writing. And when you were on vacation, they were writing, Donnie doesn't answer. What's going on? I want these T-shirts. I mean, oh, my God. I'm so happy they got them. It's so cool. And people, it's Donnie that's making them, shipping them. He does all the work. So my special thanks to Donnie also. Thank you, my dear friend. It's so good, man. You're making people happy. And the graphics, everything on WAP, it's so cool. And people are writing, we are pimple. I made a comment on Retro Ralph, something he did, and he went back, yeah, man, we are pinball. It was so cool. That was his answer. I'm glad it's a thing. My stepdad doesn't even – he's not really a pinball person. He just wants a WAP t-shirt because it says WAP on it. So I'm sending one out there. So cool, man. Okay, Rick and Morty, I love that game. I love the theme. How do you feel about it? Yeah, that's fantastic. The layout is the only frustrating thing about it But the humor and the theme And the lightings that they did They're just coming out of nowhere With this game, just phenomenal Only 750, which at the time probably seemed like Well, that's way too many And now they could have sold three times as much It's a pretty expensive game Still in Europe They still demand, you know 11, 12k I don't know if they sell for that much But I don't know the US market but they're up there still in Europe. I think they've come down maybe 10%, but yeah, I paid $11 or $12 for mine aftermarket when I got it, modded out and sold it for just about that. I mean, the theme is so good. The humor is so good. Yeah, you have got this pop bomber at the left slingshot. It can drain, but it's cool, man. I like that game. Once you learn how to play it, when I first played this game, it was frustrating. I'm like, I love this cartoon. Why does this game suck so much? and then i learned about how the slam save works you know why that magnet save on the right is a little bit weak so it's kind of like an anti-gravity thing with the ball like that's super cool and then the staged ball at the portal like once you figure that out you start going in the different dimensions like the game just opened up once i understood it the whole house at the background is so cool man so much stuff going on it's like it's like to jump to the fun is tna i'll talk about rick and morty all day let's go okay 2017 Jersey Jack dialed in Coming in at number 42 You don't like this game I'm sorry I just fell asleep What were you talking about? Dude How about if you only think about Shots on layout Yeah so drop a predator theme in this Amazing game Make this Ghostbusters amazing game Make it about Watching some cable news channel I don't care The theme destroys it, yeah. But, I mean, Pat Lawler's design on this game is one of his best ever, man. The holo theater, I dig it. I like the shots. There's a lot in this game. Yeah. And it's just like, they just re-theme it. Keep the same layout. Make this avatar. Put in some blue people. Can they use that design when he doesn't work at J.J.P. anymore? What's he going to say? Come on. Yeah, yeah. He will get his percentage. Get him a licensing fee. Why not? Retheme that jersey. Please, retheme this. Price, they're cheap in Europe. I don't know the U.S. market, but they're cheap here. You can't really move them here. That's hard. No. Yeah, it's the same over here, man. Okay, next game. Coming in at number 43 on Pinside, the top 100 list, Bailey Williams games, 1997. It has got a screen on the play field. It's Circus Voltaire. What? That's the Papaduke, huh? Yeah, Papaduke. Beautiful game. A fun game. It also creeps me out. So it's got that. What creeps you? The clown stuff? The clown stuff. Well, the ringmaster. He's just kind of, dude, the ringmaster is marveled. No, dude, get away from me. Ouch. Ha-ha. You hurt me. I like shooting that ringmaster. It's a big rubber head, and you can just feel that kinetic energy going from the ball into this hit that swings around on a big strong spring oh my god do more of that i love it and you can also activate when the ringmaster up that has got a magnet on his head on on his top you can also activate the pop bumper that pops up under the play field oh my god so you hit the ringmaster the ball comes back and hit the pop bumper that you just activated and it goes up and hit the ringmaster again the ringmaster goes up two inches and you hit that again and the ball goes onto the ringmaster oh it's so good man i love that game i had this expensive game here this is a game that i had on the playstation i played the virtual version of it before i started buying machines and i played the heck out of it this and medieval madness and um a tales of arabian knights so it's very much like in that sphere it's a fun game to play yeah popular game it's Still expensive over here. And this game, Circus Voltaire and Tales from Arabian Nights, when Bella Williams produced those playfields, they did something with the wood or something. Those two games are so brittle. Those playfields, they just crumble. They just destroy. So if you want to buy one of those titles, you're really lucky if you find them in good condition today. I'm just going to put in a pre-order with Pedretti because, come on. After seeing what they did with Funhaus, if there was a Circus Voltaire or Tales of Arabian Nights, interested, interested. I mean, they're going to make the top game, so yeah. And I hope that their sales on Funhaus are good. I don't know. Have you talked to any distros about it? No, I'm not sure if I know any that are selling it. I saw a video that Zach did with Funhaus Gameplay, and I have played this game for a long time. Zach played it, and I'm telling you, it does not shoot like the Bally Williams version. If you have played it enough, then you can see it. But it shoots well, but it's not one-to-one. And I don't know if that's because the Bally Williams ones that I've played are so old that they're broken in, and that's why it plays different. And this one's brand new, brand new mechanisms, everything. I think they use the flippers that they use in their Alien. It's not Bally Williams flippers. It's going to play different than any funhouse that's been sitting in an arcade for 40 years. Of course, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely, man, absolutely. But it looks astonishing, the artwork, everything. Thank you for Padretti. I mean, Andre, I love this company. And you know what, Donnie? People are talking – I don't want to talk about Haggis. I'm tired of talking about Haggis. They fucked people over and that's it. But the thing is some people are saying the Haggis couldn't do it because they didn't produce in U.S. I mean, I don't know. No, because you can see these games are being built in Italy, right? And, you know, Pinball Brothers games are being built in Italy. look at a game like alien ripley version this game bill of material jam-packed i mean there's so much so much stuff okay don't get me started on top of that it's a white body game it's built in europe it's built in italy look at the price under 8k right and now queen they have done price reduction on queen they're cheap also so it is possible to make games outside chicago yeah okay it is just yeah this was it was an operational problem i think they just didn't i don't think they were ever going to do well with the setup that they had and the the people in the processes i think that's what's what sunk them it wasn't necessarily just not not not good enough okay not effective enough look at our friends at wisconsin it's just if when you look when you look at spooky pinballs you know factory tours they count in effectivity and they learn every year and they get freaking better year after year you can see this progress of getting better and they don't just expand from day one they just you know they build up they buy a couple of Corvettes, it's all right, but they build up the right way. That's how you do it. You don't need to be in Chicago. Yeah, and they're not paying out tons of rent to a landlord that they have that overhead. They've brought almost all of their processes in-house, so they don't have to worry about a supply lane holding up everything so much. And they have a lot of quality control over each little part of it because they built slowly. So it's that process you need, the people. And I think Haggis probably never had that. the people, the mindset. It's just, it's so sad. I watched a, Kerry Hardy made a video. If you're interested in Haggis, go and watch Kerry Hardy. He made a video. So in that video, he interviews this guy, and this guy says that, you know, Haggis sent out mails to people saying, your game is ready in six weeks. Please pay the rest amount. I mean, how cold-hearted are you to do that? Yeah, that's when it went to a struggling business to a criminal enterprise. It's so crazy. And I heard – I don't listen to – I enjoy your podcast and I enjoy Zach's podcast. And Zach said that he should pay his customers back. Well done, Zach. That was wild. He paid $61,000 back. I mean, if people want to buy from these new companies, buy from a distro. You can see what Zach has done. But some people didn't buy from Zach. They bought direct. So from now on, I'm saying at the start of this year, at 2024, my everything was all new games should cost under $10K. But from now on, it's all new games under $10K. That's the first thing. The second thing, no more deposits. It's done. I mean, you saw the – I'm so bad with names, but Alice in Wonderland. What was his name? William something. Yeah, also don't have the name. You don't have the name. Okay, okay. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, Dutch premium pinball something. So he went out and he said, no deposits, no nothing. That's how it should be. When you go to Costco, you pick the goods you want and you go ahead and pay. That's how it should be. Drop this. I know – I think it was Spooky that started with this deposit stuff. I love Spooky. I love you guys. But it should just stop now. Okay. Have the games ready and that's it. Have your funds in order to be able to exist and actually make a game, get it to production. When you need to get deposits just to function, you've got no net. You've got no room for error. Errors are going to happen, and then it's going to be a struggle from then on. I mean it like they use the buyers like Kickstarter funding you know That just not cool anymore It should stop I mean if there was an agreement like you know we want a deposit and if your game is not ready in eight months, then it's refunded. But then if it's not ready in eight months, maybe it's because the company went under, and now there's no money left anyway. I don't know. Don't show the game. Why did they show Alice months back? Why? There's no reason. Can you see? I mean, we don't want no deposits. The games are not ready. Let me tell you something personal. So I'm talking with Andrea Pedretti before they launched Funhaus. So we're talking. I'm energized. I'm so happy. So I have so many questions. We're talking about this and that. But my main question is, Andrea, when you release this game, make sure that they are in boxes. And he was like, absolutely. And later when we talked, Chris from Canada's Pinball Podcast, he told the whole world that the game was out. And Andrea Pedretti was really angry about it. But still, still, he didn't want to go official because he really wanted to be ready when he announced it. I have so much respect for this. You know, have the games ready, announce them, ship them. Look, John Wick, they announced it, And the next day you could play it on an arcade. That's how you do business. Love that. Right? Your game is available right at the peak of the hype when the reveal. Yes. Yeah. We have this. And guess what? It's in stores now. Go get one. There you go. If you remember JJP's launch video of Guns N' Roses and they said, like, we have already 100 games in boxes ready to ship. Whoa. That's how you do it. 5,000 games sold. Huge success. that's how it should be. So, no deposit, no waiting eight months. Why should... I mean, come on. I'm going to give flowers here. When Berrio's Barbecue Challenge was revealed, there was, I think, a hundred units already out in arcades that had secretly been shipped out. So, like, after it was revealed, it was on location to go play. David Fix! Awesome. That's how you do it, man. There's a lot more than a pretty face under that hat. Wow. I mean, that's how you do it, man. It's so cool. So I hope they will come with their next game at the end of this year, right? At October or something? So Spooky Pinball, if you're listening, go ahead and get me your new game now. So when you release, people can come over for the barbecue and play it. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. I think that makes sense. Donnie, you need to visit them and make a great launch video for them, man. I would love to do a first reaction. Like before they release it, they have it in a room and they can just feel my reaction walking in, seeing whatever it is for the first time and be like, my God, you guys did the office. Look at you or whatever it is. I mean, you live so – I said this before. I don't get it. You live so close. You're great friends. If it was me, I would just drive there, knock on the door, go get a move. I would just see what you're doing. Start digging through the dumpster. Go in and help. Go in and give ideas because, you know, when it's the same guys, when it's the same guys in the same room designing, sometimes you don't see everything. You know how it is, right? It would be so good to give, you know, more input from the outside. But the cool thing about Spooky again, when us customers find something and report back, they listen, they update. I mean, they fix the stuff. I love stuff like the transparency. Everybody can talk with them. So good. This hiding stuff, this Haggis stuff they did for two years now, I don't get it. What Haggis was doing was saying one thing and doing another. Spooky says one thing, and that's what they do. They're like, well, what themes do you want to see? If we hear it enough times, we'll do it. I was like, guys, please make another Rick and Morty so I can buy one. And they're like, listen, if people ask us to do another Rick and Morty game and we get enough people and we can sell them, we'll do it. So ask for another one. But aren't they locked? They didn't. I mean. For that, no, it would have to be a completely different game, new layout, new concept. And I am totally okay with that. Okay. Yeah, of course you are. You don't like the design. But, yeah, that universe, that kind of humor. Can you imagine a third redesign for the Looney Tunes TCM layout, but it's Rick and Morty? Oh, Tony, man, I watched the new Alien Romulus, and I was just thinking Spooky should go in and make an Alien pinball machine. Oh, man, how about that? Come on, it doesn't need to be white, but it will be so perfect for Spooky as a company. Aliens. The second one. Make a new Aliens. Why not? Why not? You could do it. Why not? Why not? There are multiple Star Wars games. Why not? Multiple Avatars, supposedly. Yeah. Yeah, supposedly. But at the premiere, I mean, there were some advertising of, you know, upcoming movies. And one of the movies was Beetlejuice 2. The movie that you love, that you were talking about Spooky are doing. I haven't watched the first one. I saw trailer for the second one it was this keaton what's his name michael keaton michael keaton that i never liked none of his movies not even his batman not batman mr mom multiplicity he had this shit around his mouth and i was like go out and wash your face dude on the trailer i i truly don't hope that they're doing that theme come on make army of darkness that's it okay all right So I'll go see Army of Darkness because I've never seen that. But you have to go see Beetlejuice, and then we'll meet back and discuss. Oh, my. Don't do this. Is it Michael Keaton again with ketchup around his mouth and all that? The first movie is so much like just Tim Burton doing an early movie. It's great. Alec Baldwin's in it. All these cool people are in it. And Beetlejuice himself, the character, is only in the movie for about 15 minutes total of screen time. Just like Jaws. Watch it. He shows up, he makes a big impact, and then it's like the rest of the character is playing out. Okay. The mom from Strength of Things was there. My son was. Oh, we have to watch it. She's there. Yeah. We know the writer. And it's just this concept that, you know, ghosts exist around us, and the afterlife is full of the same problems that the real life is, and it's all surreal and very Tim Burton-y. So it's like, yeah. Okay. It's spookiness like that. Yeah, yeah. I mean, everybody's saying they should do, you know, Army of Darkness 1 and 2. Sure. Yeah, the unofficial third one was Evil Dead. I'm sorry, Evil Dead 1 and 2. And then Army of Darkness. The unofficial number three was Evil Dead, and I love Evil Dead. It's such a cool theme, man. Donnie, we have to continue our top 100. Yes, let's go. All right. So, yeah, that was Circus Voltaire. Expensive here. I think it's expensive in the U.S. also, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah, still commanding some pretty high prices. Okay. Maybe 5% down from peak. Yeah. Number 44, we have a starting game. Amazing theme. It's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at number 44. Does it deserve this place? I think it's okay. Yeah. I do come back to it, and it's fun because of the theme, and then I walk away because it's a frustrating gameplay experience. So hard. Worm, worm. So hard, yeah. The price, they're cheap here. They're also cheap there. yeah yeah all right this one number 45 a stern game i don't get it how can this be this low it's the walking dead love this game i was just talking about it yesterday such a cool game this one's on my it's on my list for some point i keep coming back to it it's fun yes it's so fun you know why this game is so fun okay okay it has got great layout i mean John Bork, great layout. The theme is great. And when you buy it, you need to install that audio. There is an updated audio package. That's a must with a lot of cursing. And, yeah, I don't want to say that. But the best part is the game code, Lime and Sheets. It's great. Oh, my God. It's amazing. And when wrestling came out, it stunk. It didn't sell. Three, three and a half years later, Lime and Sheets updated wrestling. You need to play wrestling now. Update it to the newest code with lemon sheets. Rest in peace, buddy. Wow. And you can feel the same stuff with the drop-down targets. I mean, he's utilizing the whole play field. It's so good. This game at number 45. I mean, Walking Dead at number 45. Tron at 33. That does not make any sense. No, no, no. Come on. Come on. I mean, come on. Batman 60 sucks at number 28. and Walking Dead at 45, crooked list. That's what I want to say about this. The price, they hold their price here in Europe. How is it over there? Not bad. I was just looking at pros are around $4,000 to $5,000 depending on what's in it. And then I was trying to find L.E.s. I think one popped up for that for pro. But I was looking at L.E.s. I think they were around $10,000, $9,000 or $10,000 for L.E.s. maybe. premiums were about eight from pro here i would have bought it instantly yeah all right so yeah does it deserve number 45 no it should be much higher than that that's how i feel yeah number 46 pulp fiction chicago gaming company yeah it should be higher but yeah it's all right price is great price is about to get even better price is great yeah yeah absolutely all right a great game great Number 47, Spooky Pinball, 2017, Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle. I have never tried it. It's a really cool layout. You can tell they were early in their design because the shots are a little tight, but some really fun stuff in there. Is the song called Poison in there? Poison, maybe. Yeah, man. Poison through my veins. What's that from? yeah poison it's from um those two characters from waves world it's there okay yeah yeah there man i love it there all right uh the price i i don't know what they go for are they expensive over there you find them they pop up sometimes um in the 5000 range sometimes seven just depends it's kind of all in there uh not a whole lot of these were made like like 300 or something Okay Alright Alright I want to try it out It's a fun game Next game I think I'm the only one in the world that likes it I like this game It's a JJP game New game It's the Godfather I think you are the only one that likes that game I think I'm the only one that defends this game I like Godfather but yeah I'll defend the game for what it is For making a Godfather pinball machine I think they did a fantastic job. It captures an environment that doesn't really speak to me, but it does it well. You have watched the movies. Yeah, when this was rumored to be coming out, I watched the first movie, which I guess is the best one. And yeah, the main character is not likable at all. When you watch the first movie, you don't need to watch the third one. But when you watch the first movie, you need to watch the second one also. Then it makes so much sense. So good. With immigration from Italy to US back for a hundred something years ago, I really like those two movies. Alright, alright. The price, they are dirt cheap over here. I almost bought a collector's edition just to take the gold lions off of it and then resell it. What do they go for in the US? Do you know that? I'll look them up right now. They gotta be around 10, man. I'll look it up in real time. It's at $48. You're looking the sales price up? Yeah, Godfather CE. Let's see. If we want to buy one right now, there are 12 for sale, $13,500, $9,000 or best offer. Oh, man. And they're like $15,000, right? There's two of them listed here for $9,000 or best offer. For the collector's edition, $15,000 with the gold lions. I'm going to pay this guy $9,000. Take them Lions and sell it for $8,700. 75 plays. Offer them eight. Offer them eight and get it. PinStadiums. All mods. Powder-coated coin door. $9,000 or best offer. Wow. Donnie, Donnie, talking about losing a lot of money. It's sad, man. You can buy a used Stern Premium for that loss. Like $6,000, $7,000 loss, man. I might offer this guy $8,500 and then turn around and list it for $8,500 and take those damn Golden Lions. Maybe you like the game, man. Play the game. It's fun enough. It's just I didn't want to pay $15,000 for it. Oh, okay. That's a lot of money. You know how I feel. Everything under $10,000. Okay. Let's check out the next game on the list. Number 49, Bella Williams, 1993, It's Whitewater. I love me some Whitewater. Please remake this game. I want Yukon Yeti. I want the sequel to this game. Where is the sequel at? Shouldn't American Pinball come out with the sequel? I've seen pictures floating around the Internet, and it looked pretty fun. So, yeah. Wait, no. It wasn't American Pinball. It was Deep Root that should come out with the sequel. So does that mean Chris Turner owns it? Man, if he made you Con Yeti, I would give him a $100 deposit. Chris, if you're listening. You know what? I mean, maybe they should just leave everything Deep Root alone. I mean, in the pinball market, hobby, whatever you want to call it, we tend to forgive and forget really fast. I mean, you know, this guy from Deep Root, he stole a lot of money. he's an a-hole but everybody else in that company we have forgiven them all and we just moved on same thing is going to happen with Haggis Damien is going to be called the thief but everyone else, there's a guy that makes podcasts he was also there don't remember his name but we're going to forgive everybody else and just move on but how about the games should we just leave them or should somebody else build those centaurs? How do you feel? Oh, yeah, I think someone else could build centaur. Just don't put that bubble plexiglass thing on there. Bubble up. I think Raza could go die. That would be fine. But, you know, some of the other games, Food Truck, that could be kind of fun. Not a huge seller. Raza had like six or eight games and one of them was Whitewater 2 and something, something, something. and so many ideas. How much fun is it to hit that ramp? I love that, that little roller coaster plastic ramp. White water. You know, that ramp when the ball comes back with all that velocity and jumps up and hits the glass, it's fun every time. Found it, you left flipper. I love it. Good game. They are not cheap here in Europe. I mean, in perfect condition, they're not cheap. But these games can also be worn out. That means that they were really popular back in 1993. yeah man it's a good game all right the mixed game on the list oh my god we're gonna fight about this if you ask me it should be at number 289 but it's another stern game and it's star wars oh yeah that's a top five game right there it's at number 50 that's fine yeah you have it in the background I got it for a great price, so that's fantastic. I'm not selling it. I mean, Star Wars is higher up than Iron Man. It's higher up than Scooby-Doo. It's higher up than Funhouse, Guardians, Nuclear. Should be higher. Whirlwind. It's better than Whirlwind. It's better than Getaway. I mean, come on. All right. I think it should be a 289. It's my dream theme. It's the best theme. Best call-outs, best music. I think make another Star Wars game. Jersey Jack. Jersey Jack. I want to see Jersey Jack's Star Wars game. I want to see what Spooky's Star Wars game is. I want to see American Pinball's barbecue Star Wars adventure. Yes. All of them. Anakin Skywalker on a spit over the lava getting roasted. That could be the barbecue re-theme. American Pinball, you're doing white labels. I mean, wow. Oh, yeah. I'm totally with you. They should make new Star Wars machines. Absolutely. Imagine Jersey Jack doing Star Wars. Come on. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Drop everything else. Just make Star Wars. Put gold stormtroopers on the legs. They're cheap here in Europe. Nobody wants them. How are they in the U.S.? They're cheap over there also. Yeah, like $7,500 for a premium, which is the one you need to buy. Yeah. Don't get the pro. I bought the LE. It was just, uh. Do you know? The early on that game, it didn't have no shaker. It didn't have a special. Do you know what Translight I got? I got three Translights. That's stupid. Yeah, yeah, the Pro and, you know, just normal, not mirrored, no nothing. It was just normal. That game. Yeah. I don't want to start. I don't want to start. Okay. Yeah. Next game, The Hobbit, Jersey Jack, 2016 at number 51. It's an okay game. It's an okay game. It's an okay game. I wish it had a little bit more medieval madness in it. But, yeah. Imagine if you were to, like, destroy a tower or something. You know, it's got a big dragon that just kind of turns its head back and forth. Yeah. Yeah. The gimmick of that game is 100% controllable drop-down targets. They pop up individually and pop down individually. 1-3-5 2-4-6 and oh my god if you look under the hood of that game it's jam packed there was so much stuff I don't want to say this but Jersey Jack when they were located in Jersey oh my god and they moved to Chicago and this happened they moved to Chicago because they were bought right or they had a big investor come and take control of the company. And then I think that was probably behind a lot of the changes. Something happened with their bill of material. I mean, I love Jersey Jack. I really do. The biggest thing I have against Jersey Jack games is their choice of themes. Yes, that's it. 100%. Yeah. That's the only thing. Come on. Do Star Wars Jersey Jack. That big screen. Yeah. Just Empire Strikes Back. Just do Empire Strikes Back. That's it. That's it. I mean, this year release a new hope. Build them for two years. In two years, a new hope. And two years later, the Empire – what's the last one called? Return of the Jedi. Revenge of the Jedi. Return of the Jedi, yeah. Be the Star Wars pinball company. I'd buy every one. Yeah, of course. I would hold on to them. I would line them up. I would line them up. Absolutely. And Disney. You can get the license from Disney. I mean – It's made – they're giving it away. Absolutely. You can grab Acolyte for a 12-pack of beer right now. You can do Acolyte. I mean that would be – I mean it would be instant buy. I don't need to look at anything. I would just instantly buy it. That's how I bought the Stern LE. I didn't know Jack. I just ordered it. I want that game. Yeah, it is what it is. Yeah. Okay, let's just look at this list. Rapid fire. The Hobbit is more expensive here in Europe than The Godfather. How is it in the U.S.? Probably the same. Godfather is a dragon, man. Oh, my God. Oh, next game is actually a great game. Underrated game, if you ask me, all the way down at number 52. It's a stern game. It's Black Knight Swords of Rage. Come on, Megan. more money more give me your money i mean for a geek like me that played that played the 2000 version back in 1989 black knight 2000 a geek like me when he or she plays this new one and he has got so much homage for the old one it's magical love it it's so good underrated i got they are building new ones right yeah yeah i've got i i got an older one just before they announced that um but fifty five hundred dollars i got the topper pro awesome you have the topper for that game absolutely i bought the topper before i bought the game just because at some point i knew i wanted i wanted to get the game so i just wanted to have the topper and i'm glad i did because like you know they were made and then they're gone wow man it came for sale the elite version came for sale i was like dude it was priced as a pro oh sorry as a premium yeah and it had got the topper on and i was got whoa i want to buy that and i hit him up and then when i got a hold of him he said yeah i still got the game but the topper is sold man people went apeshit yeah i was like yeah of course yeah yeah great topper gotta have the topper Yeah. So if you gave $5,500, then it's a lot of game for the money. And buy the Pro. The Pro is awesome, man. Love it. Love it. I got a premium apron. Put it in the Pro, so it's perfect. There we go. So you don't like that plastic thing? No, get the plastic out. What are we doing with plastic? It's 2024. Come on. Get the plastic out of here. Bill of material. Whatever. What are you saving? Come on. Yeah. Number 53. This is a Bella Williams game from 1994 WPC89S game with the security chip. You know all of that on the VPC ports, right, Donnie? I have no idea. This one is called The Shadow. Oh, good game, good game. Magnet throws the ball. You like it? Magnet throws the ball. Weird upper play field. Controllable diverters. Yep. Shadow's cool. I mean, that magnet up there that grabs the ball just like in Looney Tunes, I love it. Love it. Yeah, love it. I actually also like the movie. I'm the only one in the world that likes the movie. It's all right. But the game, those ramps, they are so clunky. It just, they kill it for me. And you can divert the ramp to the left and right. But they're so clunky. That left ramp is so close to the flipper. I don't know, man. After three weeks, I was like, no, I'm done. But the upper playfield is cool. Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah. Cool game. They are not expensive here. often seen for sale those cabinets they really hold the colors well here but um yeah okay game they will have a lot of wear at the magnet that sanctum magnet but other than that it's a solid game cool cool next game oh this is a fun game man it's a stern again it's the iron man have you played that from yeah it's all right it's all right it's empty but it's a fast shooting game but it's empty yeah i like it it's not it's not expensive but yeah and they came up with many different revisions and so on so yeah it's better the transformers i like fast shooting games all right here's a game that don has in his collection okay it's spooky pinball from 2022 Scooby Scooby Doo Where are you? Like wow man It's at number 55 Does it deserve that or should it be higher or lower? It's okay The layout is pretty simple and symmetric The upper play field you can go up there all day And just hang out Sometimes that's what I do It's a nice relaxing game to play Planning on selling it? Nope I got a butter cabinet I love it Oh, the price? I don't know the European price here. I think, yeah, you can get them cheaper now than MSRP, which sounds appropriate. But you know what There not a whole lot on the market or at least not in the last few months I been watching okay but i mean it the way it goes man everything falls under msrp now right so it not only spooky it it everything i played the uh i played the standard version recently at the pinball hall of fame in vegas and there's no sculpts no powder coat um and i'm like wow man there there's a ton of game in that wide body ce for sure for the price yeah and this is at number 55 it actually says collector's edition model yeah there's uh there's 11 for sale right now uh around 7 000 is the cheapest and which version a seat collector's edition ce you can get one for you get one for seven right now for someone in california otherwise they're between eight and nine Dude, 7,000 for a collector's edition with topper and powder coat? Everything must go, man. That's nice. Yeah. That's just chill, man. 65 plays. What the heck? What the heck? Someone go pick this game up. Yeah, that's a score for that price. Wow. All right, that's at 55. Coming in at 56, it's an old game from 1992, Bella Williams' Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Creech. The creature That's a lot of ramps in this game Oh Ramp galore I like I mean the shots on layout Are a bit claustrophobic It's really close to the flipper And those swirly ramps They take up a lot of space And my Issue with this game Is actually the theme and music I'm not a fan of the 50's and it's a lot of americana pop culture 50s yeah yeah with the elvis car and all that it just doesn't hit me but if i asked my dad he would love this it's just right about his alley but for me nah not really do you like the game yeah it's okay um i don't know if i'd put it top 50 but yeah it's all right yeah yeah all right but it's still better than star wars oh we're gonna fight yeah coming at that number 57 jjp toy story four really what do you yeah it's not toy story one that we all watch as kids i actually kind of want this game and i just looked recently the ces are still priced you know in five digits they're not as cheap as the The Godfather is going. It's a fun game. It is. It's Disney. It still is Toy Story. I'm not dying to get one, but if I find one, good price, good condition, I might have one. Donnie, it's so light to shoot. Yeah. It really is so – yeah, see, you're a pinball player now. You know what I mean. It's so light, refreshing to shoot, and when that flap comes out, the ball flies, and it just comes back to the flipper so fast. It's a fun pin, man. For my skill level, this is a good pin. Yeah, if I was a tournament player, could hit every shot every time, I'd get bored of something like this. But for me and how I play, this is great. Casual, throw the ball around, hit the things. Yeah, yeah. And I have said it before, on location, oh, my sweet mother of candy. Oh, yeah, yeah. It makes money, man. $3 per game. Oh, yeah, baby. Yeah, so if I had a location, for sure I'd have this. When it launched, it was too much money for what it was because it wasn't Toy Story 1. It wasn't as loaded. There was no claw. You know, come on. On location, no one cares if it's Toy Story 1 or 4. No one. Yeah, but now secondary market a couple years later, I wouldn't mind owning one now at those prices. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, man. So it deserves its place at number 57, maybe a bit higher up. I think so. I think it should be higher than Creature from Black Lagoon. Absolutely, yeah. Yeah, the prices we just talked. Okay, this one is interesting. 1990, Bella Williams game, Funhaus. Why is that so high? That's weird. I mean, it's of that era, but it's not as good as the other ones. Funhaus has always been a really high-rated game. I mean, everything is System 11, but it's not System 11. It is WPC 89, but it has got those alphanumeric digits, So some people takes it in the System 11 era of games, but it's one of the best from System 11 late era games. Shots and Layout, one of the best from Pat Lawler. I mean, I love Pat Lawler games. I don't know if you have to catch that about me, but wow. Yeah, I don't mind it. There's one on location, the new Pedretti remake, and I think if I wanted a fun house, I'd buy that, no problem. I like the new code, the 2.0 code. Yeah, I think that's helping it out. Absolutely. man the price before pedretti came out with this game it was priced high it was i mean for a 1990 game it was priced really high but right now when i look at the european market everybody's trying to sell their mint new playfield installed blah blah blah fun houses because i want to buy the new ones and no they don't sell and if you want to sell it it has to be on the half price of the new ones so so sad man i mean i love these remakes and williams collectors say the remix doesn't change anything yes it does you should see the price of medieval madness before they we got the remix you should see the prices of um attack from mars then all of a sudden we get the remakes under 10k and those 30 year old games cost 16 000 it destroyed the market yeah it is what it is yeah if you should buy okay so if you go ahead and want to buy a let's be honest if you want to buy a Monster Bash. Monster Bash is a great game. Still today, I love that game. And if you take a Monster Bash with new play field, blah, blah, blah, but 30 years old, it would cost, what, $12,000, $13,000, $14,000 in the US. Yeah. CGC made a brand new one. Now, listen to this. Under $10,000. Okay, under $10,000. But, when you look at that screen, big screen, updated big screen speakers but the best part the best part multi-colored rgb on the play field because i just watched the uh i just watched the video yeah it has got a big screen cool cool cool and then i had the new remake in my hands and i looked at that play field and i had the i have the old original one with all led blah blah blah it's nothing compared to the new multi you start Dracula mode, the whole playfield goes red. Oh, my God. It's so good. So I'm so sorry for all the collectors like me and my friends. When the new one comes out, it destroys the old value. It is worth it. Yeah, the price is high because it's in demand. Because it's in demand, you want to hold on to it, right? So, you know, yeah. You'd have to know before they were getting announced that you'd have to sell it in order to not lose the money. But then someone else, it would just shift to somebody else. In the end, the new consumers are the winners here. And I guess Pedretti because they're doing a lot of sales. And CGC. I wish the best for them. I hope they just sell, sell, sell. Because the more they sell, the more new games we will get and remakes we will get. So at the end, it's good for us, man. All right. Coming in at number 59. I don't like this darn game. I'm not a shill. It's Guardians of the Galaxy at 59. Yeah, I can see that. I think it's ranked appropriately. I go to Disney World And when they have pinball machines At their hotels it's either this one or Tron Or Star Wars and so I've played a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy so it's kind of like My fun I'm in Florida I'm at the theme park So I'm going to go play Guardians of the Galaxy game So I appreciate it like that But as far as gameplay there's better Sterns out there Yes absolutely man Prize wise I don't know The premium in LE like with Groot's arms that get in the way of the ramps. It's weird, man. It's strange. Just get the pro on this one. I mean, yeah. Okay. Last game on this list from 40 to 60 is a pretty new game. It's from Stern, and it's Venom at number 60. Oh, wow. Why is that so high? Man, this game beat the heck up. Oh, my God. I learned to like my premium that I had. And then I saw that. That doesn't sound good, Donnie. No, I hated this game when I first got it because I love the leveling system in it, right? But then I got to the boss, and then it's like the only thing I could do every time I played that game was I had to beat this boss. And if I couldn't beat him, I was stuck. I couldn't go back to any other modes. I couldn't reset my score. I'm like, what the hell is this game? I'm like stuck now. And then I beat him, and I got Wolverine, and I'm like playing through the game a second time. and I did a little better. After the third time, I'm like, okay, I figured it out. I know the shots now. Now this game is really fun. But it took me 200 plays to get there to that level. So I had to learn. And on top of that, you had the premium. You don't have the pro like me. No, the pro is half a game, man. You got to play the premium. Because the whole thing is that the game field changes when you pick your character, and you don't have any of that in the pro. The inserts change. That's it. You don't have spider cheeks that swings out with his little dangly bits to hit. The premium is like a totally different game, man. So when I unboxed the Venom Pro, I unboxed it, I filmed it, and I, yeah, with all sort of missing stuff. But I unboxed it, I fixed it, and then I played it to make a fast review. And after that, I jumped over to the Data East Star Wars in the background, And I was playing that. My brother, he came in. He's like, dude, we just got this brand new Stern game. What the fuck are you doing? Come on over. And then three months later or something, I don't remember. But then we got Foo Fighters. Yeah. And I was hooked. Oh, yeah. I played that game. Oh, my God. And I think it's the Chicago mode where the music is awesome. I love it. A lot of cool songs. And then three months later, we got Jaws. So we unboxed the Jaws and we played a couple of games. And then all of a sudden, I was over there, Data East, Star Wars again. And my brother was, what the fuck? So he, come on, let's play. I'm like, nah, man, you can play. So he played one, because we love to unbox these games together. Okay, together, experience, everything together. Look at this shot. Look at this. Look at that. All right? But so he was there playing Jaws, and I was playing Star Wars, and then he came over to me totally frustrated. It has got this shot at the right side when you turn that spinner. Yeah. So if you hit that, the right side, and it spins, comes out to the left. Okay. But if you hit that spinner from the left side, if you can do that, If you hit it from the left side, it will turn and go straight down the middle. Oh, no. Yes. And he came over to me completely red in his head. He was like, I hate that shot. It drains all the time. He was so frustrated. So we went back and played some more Jaws and found out about the shot. This shot that goes up to the upper play field on the Premier League, on the pro is just a huge ramp. Just a ramp, yeah. When you dial in that shot, we did that, you fell in love with the pro. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. It's so good. So satisfying. And now when I enjoyed the movie, Jaws is just thumbs up. I have always said best game is Godzilla. Number two is Foo Fighters. But now I'm like, Foo Fighters, you have Godzilla just so close. I think with – Jaws. Yeah, with Foo Fighters and Venom, like your first 200 games of Foo Fighters, you're going to enjoy a lot more than the next 200. And with Venom, it's the opposite. I haven't played 200 times. Oh, okay. I haven't played 200 times. I played Foo Fighters and Venom about 500 times each when I had them. And it's like the second 200 games I played on Venom were so much better than the first 200. And it was kind of the opposite for Foo Fighters because I was still discovering everything. Foo Fighters was more instantly likable. Venom, I had to, like, figure out what they were actually trying to do in the game, and I had to figure out the shots first. Then I liked it. Okay. So with Foo Fighters, you hit a brick wall? Well, it just became the same after a while. It was like, okay, I'll go back to New Orleans first. Okay, let's go back and let's play Monkey Wrench again. Let's play Chicago. And there wasn't like anything new that was changing, you know, just kind of keep going to the cities. I don't know, Donnie. For me, it was so refreshing because the shots make those number eight turns. I don't know how I should explain. The shots do Keith Elwin stuff, if you know what I mean. Yeah, absolutely, yeah. Yeah, they swirl around. It has got so much of stuff. When you hit the left side, the ball swirls, and then it jumps over this mini ramp. Wow, stuff like that. I love it. It has got at the right side, it kicks the ball up. So many small details. I fell in love with Foo Fighters. I really like it, man. But, you know, Elizabeth coding that Jaws game, she's so into it. And my favorite designer, I have always said it, I mean, it's so good. So I think the days of making a game with unfinished code and a game that doesn't compete with a designer like Keith Elwin, those days are over. They just need to up their game if they want to sell machines like they did two years ago. Yeah, because the Elwynn machine costs the same amount as John Wick. And so for the same money, how much gameplay are you getting? Like, yeah. Same bill of material. That's the scary part. Yeah, for sure. Same bill of material. Okay. Look at Deadpool, one of the greatest games. But if you look at it, it's pretty empty. it is really but elvin does something if you look at my favorite game godzilla pro if you look under that playfield it's empty all the money all the bill of material is on top of the game the playfield it's so well done down at the flippers it doesn't have no inserts i have huge issue with that but the way they designed it is you shoot that scoop at the right side then in There you can choose all your different modes, different tiers, instead of having an insert that lights up. But an older designer like Brian Eddy that made Stranger Things, he has got inserts everywhere. I love it. I love it. Some people doesn't, but inserts everywhere. I think it's so cool, man. Yeah. All right. Let's check out the last game, okay? Was that the last one at number 60 Yeah that's it man So we will take 64 62, 80 next time Donnie Before we end this video I want to make a shout out If it's okay with you Okay I'm going to make We have made other shout outs for other media creators But this one You and I we talk a lot You never mentioned this podcast Uh oh I didn't know anything about this podcast Okay, nothing But I'm telling you This is so good So Some time back I wrote on Pinball Enthusiasts Guys, help me out I want to listen to a podcast show And I want to listen to Data East games Because I'm in Data East mode Cool So people sent me a link to Pinball Chronicle, I think it's called. Chronicles? Silver Ball Chronicles? Silver Ball Chronicles, yes. Which was a great episode, but it explained the history of Data East. Nothing I was interested in. I want to listen about the games, right? But I listened to the whole show. Darn it, it was good. So shout out to them. But later that day, one guy said, you need to check out Wedgehead Pinball Podcast. Do you know them? I keep getting recommended, and I haven't quite listened to any of it yet. Is it all about those older Wedgehead games? I don't really know anything about them or really play them. Donnie, so I got this link. I was like, I don't know what this Wedgehead is. But he links to a show called Die on this Hill. So they make these shows with Die on this Hill with underappreciated cheaper games. And which games are underappreciated? All Dead Ace games, right? So this guy links me to this show. I click on it, and they talk about Lethal Weapon. And the way they do it, there are two guys. They're so awesome. I don't know their names. I'm not good at names. Witch Head Pinball Podcast. Two guys, really awesome, and a lady. So there are three in there. This lady, she's just beyond awesomeness. They go in and defend this game, Lethal Weapon, which is maybe the cheapest DMD game ever. The cool part is they read the reviews that the game has got from Pinside. You know, it's number 300 something on Pinside, right? And every time a negative review comes, this lady, she says, this dude that wrote this he doesn't know anything about people she's so cool okay love it i enjoyed that show it was so freaking good and i i am in you know data east mode they are talking about old games and then i was like on my way back because i have uh tales from the uh crypt i have got last action hero and on my on my want to buy list i want perfect condition star wars and perfect condition lethal weapon three that's it on my way back i was like what did these guys do more they have got like 50 shows or something on their podcast they talk about hook i haven't watched the movie i don't have no interest and i have always known hook was a cheap game often for sale nothing i want to buy i listened to this show they were defending by on this hill hook that's got me Look, I want to buy that game now. So good. But they don't know me because a couple of days ago they released a show. So that's the third show I listened. It was about location pinball. And they talked about mega locations in U.S. with over 100 pinball machines. And then they talk about European locations that are much, much smaller than our location here in Denmark. And they didn't mention us. We have hundreds of games, man. So, yeah, they have never watched none of my videos. They don't know me. I don't know them. But from here out, Witch Head Pinball Podcast. I don't know their names. Two guys and a lady. So good. So enjoyable. You have to check it out. I'll check it out. Check out their last action hero three. Lethal Weapon 3. Wow. So that's my shout-out, as Craig Bobby would say. do you have some shout outs yes uh my grandma albert agar and uh monica i want a soda if you're listening does monica listen to his shows uh she tries not to but she gets me full time man there's almost so much you can handle oh man that's i'll shout out everybody that ordered a shirt also thank you you got delivered and i still have some left and we'll do we'll do more restocks as needed We'll do more graphics. I'm excited, man. I love it. Yeah. And, you know, a couple of episodes ago, we talked about making a Patreon account, and we will do that soon. Right, Donnie? We still haven't done anything. There's international stumbling blocks we have to deal with. Yeah, yeah. So we will put up a Patreon, and if you guys want to support us, you're more than welcome. But with this T-shirt stuff, it's so cool. and they sent us pictures where they wear the t-shirts and the stickers oh it's so cool man so we are pinball is everywhere and our facebook group has been used i mean it's so cool it's just bonus on bonus right i feel like it yeah it's just there for everybody so we've been having fun with it i'm glad i'm done with my road tripping for the summer so now i can spend more time doing and this kind of stuff. I'll be more accessible. So you also didn't make your main show, right? I did, yeah. I just dropped one finally. I got caught back up. Don's Pinball Podcast. Go check it out. Don's Pinball Podcast. I'm on every streaming service that there is. And then wearepinball.com or wearepinball.gmail.com. No, wearepinball69 at gmail.com is how you get to us. My goodness. Remember the 69. Yeah. I want to add something cool because when we go into analytics and check out top 10 episodes, then I can see the highest viewed is episode number 7, and then it goes under 6, 5, 4, 3. So when I look at the list, I can see that every new episode gets, you can see here, gets more and more listens. Love it. So it goes the right way. It's so good. And you can see on Spotify, you can see here, 2,855 listens. When we press on the audience, and that's Spotify, that's 40.4%. That's some cool numbers, man. Apple Podcasts, 34%. Podbean, 7%. And still our highest percentage countries is 70% United States of America. The land of Freedom Eagles. Yeah. And then Australia and then Canada and then United Kingdom and then Denmark. I don't know why. And Germany, Sweden, Norway. Yeah, it is what it is. So the numbers are going up. People are enjoying this. So as long as people are listening and enjoying, then we will be back. Right, Donnie? Especially once we get a new Cornerstone drop pretty soon. I can't wait to talk all about those cool shots. I can't wait. I can't wait. It's going to be cool. What are we going to have? Six upper playfields? One for each X-Man? And 2D plastics for all the different X-Men? It's going to be cool, man. The Pro's going to suck. The Pringman's going to be amazing. Well, we'll see. To be honest, I'm a bit tired of these comic editions. Why don't they make Deadpool with Deadpool 3, the movie? Oh, man, can you imagine if they had Deadpool and Wolverine coming out right now? Yeah. The movie, man. Take the movie. Yeah. Maybe I don't read. I didn't read comics back then, so maybe that's why. But, yeah, make the movie, man. The reason is licensing-wise, if you just get the comic license, that's one fee, and then you've got it. Otherwise, you've got to get Ryan Reynolds, Sony Pictures, this person, this person, Pepsi, KFC, everybody if you're doing a movie. Get them. Get them. Get them all. I don't care. Get them. We want it, precious. We want it. People, usually we make one or two videos every month, and they're usually under an hour. I'm so sorry. We are about to hit two hours this time.
