How's it going everybody? It's Bug here from Spooky Pinball and we are back today with some more Texas Chainsaw Massacre gameplay. We were doing a livestream last night. We did a livestream on Twitch on Bug's Screamin' Stream for this game. Unfortunately we got absolutely hammered with a snowstorm and it pretty much completely nuked the internet and I couldn't even interact with people in the chat and everything. So the footage was still there but the quality was just so bad. I wanted to go ahead and redo the video. We're going to get you a ton of gameplay today. I'm going to do some more mode explanations and rules breakdowns. I'm also going to shut up a little bit. I'm going to let you guys just hear the game and enjoy some gameplay as well. So without further ado, let's go ahead. Let's kick off some more Texas Chainsaw Massacre gameplay. Glasses on for maximum focus. You unlock this door with the key of Grotesque Madness. Like I said, I'm still gonna do a little bit of explaining and tutorialisms here on these first couple games, but I will go ahead and shut up later so we can just experience the game on its own. One of my main focuses on this video is I want to get to some more of these sub-wizard modes that I didn't get to show you previously. At this point, I think I've played all of them on camera at some point, but like I said, the footage last night and everything, the stream just was pretty rough with the internet quality and everything. The chat was like a good freaking 10 minutes behind me at one point. It was crazy. So I definitely want to show these sub-wizard modes again. And then to get to the sub-wizard modes, you have to play your modes up above in a kind of specific order on some of them. I'm specifically trying to get my purple shots because those items are worth the most. The purple shots are barbecue. I just want to sell barbecue the most That's cool We're rich Oh hey we can go straight into the store How about that Alright well we got $8 So let's do Extend multiball ball save time And let's do Excellent choice. There we go. Yeah, I'm happy with those. Have fun with that. I'm happy with those. All right. So we have the gas station mode down. Now we have the grandpa mode lit. If I play gas station grandpa, I can get to the Jerry sub-wizard mode. If I play the cook hitchhiker, that's Kirk. Leatherface witch chase, that's Franklin. Pam is her own shot. And then Sally is if you get all of those together. I don't think we're going to get to Sally today. It is in the game. You can absolutely get to it. But I don't think it's going to happen today. Oh, and there's also the dinner sub-wizard mode, which isn't even an insert on there. That's an option, too. That one you get by playing Leatherface and the Cook. Because, you know, you've got to catch victims and kill them, and then you cook them. You get it. You've seen the movie. All right, white shots to chase victim. I should have picked my character before I entered this mode. So I could play as Grandpa so I could drain blood faster. Oh, I was just a second late there. Oh boy. No drain. There we go. That's my favorite callout in the game right now, as far as clips from the movie go. I thought you was in a hurry. Alright. Let's drain this blood and do our thing. Alright. Playfield's gonna fill with blood. Now we gotta drain it. Quite a few shots. That's why I should've played as Grandpa. Oh, hook multiball. We gotta play hook multiball today, too. Oh, boy. Okay. Start hitting switches. Right now I'm managing to hit none. Okay. So like I said, as the blood drains lower, you can no longer really hit the shots above to drain the blood. It's getting tougher. The lower it gets, the harder it gets, of course. So we're just going to hit the left ramp over and over until we win. This would definitely be a good mode to stack a multiball with. Okay, we almost got it. Because once it hits a certain point down low, like a few switch hits, you pretty much have it. So, yeah, we're really close, really close. Basically, we just need to hit the slings in the inlanes. Come on now. Yes, okay. Okay, so there's going to be a super jackpot lit at the center door. Just like that. We got it. Done, son. All right. Yeah, so we should have Jerry lit at the door now. Jerry's search for friends. We also have mystery meat. Let's go ahead and get a ball locked on the meat hook while we're here. We're doing pretty good at the start here, so might as well. How are we looking over there? Good? Not too far out of frame, am I? Nah, we're good. Wiggle it back. you gotta catch it just right but that captive ball lock shot is absolutely backhandable alright get that sweet sweet inner loop build up our combo value I know a good spot to use that combo too when we get to this sub wizard mode here there we go What do we got? $3. I was already in the store. Oh, I almost had it there. Almost had it. Oh, it's right there. Come on. Toughest shot. The bright side, every other shot that we're hitting down low with our ramps and our orbits, we are advancing modes as well. So you're always doing something in this game when you're shooting your shots. You're always helping yourself. All right. I should pick Leatherface before I jump into this mode as well. All right, skill shot time. Or we'll just start the mode right away. Oh, because I lit the cook. Okay, we'll play this first. I forgot, you have to pay attention to what mode is lit at the door. Because as you're qualifying stuff, yeah, you'll light other things. That's really funny. Okay. Anywho. So the cook mode, we got our ball stuck on the meat grinder. No, not stuck. We have locked our ball on the meat grinder. We can shoot our yellow shots here to increase our jackpot value for when we get the multiball. And we can rip our spinner over there to help speed that meat grinder up so we can get our ball back so we don't drain it before we start the multiball. So we don't fail the mode, essentially. So it's almost there. Okay. So we got our multiball going, right? So we have our normal red shots being jackpots yellow to build the value going but now we have something really cool So you see on the screen there order up. It says rare. It's kind of tough to see in the camera down there I'm sorry about that, but it says order up rare So there's a heat gauge on the screen as I rip that spinner It's gonna increase the you're cooking the meat when you hit that spinner So if they ordered rare, we need to get that heat gauge to rare, which is probably only about one spinner rip Okay, yeah. So after you get it cooked to the right temperature, it lights a super jackpot at the center door there. It opens up, and you can collect that super jackpot. If you hit the spinner and go past that temperature, you'll lose the ability to get that super jackpot and have to start over. So since we have it lit, I should collect it. Don't drain whatever you do. Yay! Super jackpot. Super jackpot. Oh, we got it twice. Okay, there. So we fed Franklin twice there. Now he's not wearing no hippy-dippy pleather. Fed Franklin twice. Okay, so now we have the door lit for Jerry. Yeah, like I said, so if multiple modes are lit at the door, you kind of have to pay attention to what one is lit up there. You can cycle through them using that extra flipper button. But now we have Jerry lit. Let's go ahead and start that. All right. Listen, I think I'll walk down to the creek before it gets to John. I get a bonus for playing as Leatherface. Okay, so in this mode, Jerry, you have to chain combos together to get him to the house, so that we can kill the living daylights out of him. Jerry is, in my opinion, the toughest sub-wizard mode. Okay, so we got Jerry to the house. So, yellow shots build your freezer value. After we shoot one yellow shot, our freezer is now lit. Freezer jackpot. So you need two freezer jackpots to beat this mode. Now, that door just opened in the center. If you hit that door, Jerry escapes, and you don't kill Jerry. So you don't want to hit the door. So, like I said, you need two freezer jackpots, because, you know, in the movie, he finds Pam in the freezer. Okay. Ooh, that was close. Okay, so I have the freezer lit again. So if I can hit that freezer... No! Dang it. If I hit the freezer, I would have killed him. Dang it, dude. Oh, it snuck in there on me. That's a bummer. The ball's lit, man. Oh, it kicked my ass. All right. If I would have hit the freezer, I would have killed Jerry. And it plays probably not the coolest kill in the movie. I love Jerry's kill, though, because he does a wild scream as you hit him with the hammer. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Continuing. Let's see. I want to advance Hitchhiker because I want to get to the Kirk sub-wizard mode next. Ooh. Okay, one more left to orbit. One more, that was ball. Okay, yeah, we're good, we're good. We're still alive. We also have extra ball lit at the right ramp. It's adjustable in the settings, extra ball qualifications based on how many modes you beat I think I set mine to three right now Yeah because I beat three modes Yeah Yeah I think I have mine set to three or four right now I had it set to two and it felt like too few Like I was lighting way too many extra balls There we go. Hitchhiker's ready. So like I was saying, up on the screen there it says door starts hitchhiker. Oh, actually, right now that button changes my thing down here Which, speaking of which, I want to change my character So we're going to hit that scoop And we're going to select the Hitchhiker Why? Because we're going to go play the Hitchhiker mode And we want those perks, baby Okay There we go So now I can change the door mode start from Hitchhiker Woods Chase Those are the two that I have lit, so just those two Let's collect extra ball Collect a combo. And into the door. Okay, hitchhiker. Hitch a ride all the way home. So you're going to be collecting your white shots to get the hitchhiker to a home, and then you get a sweet multiball. I'm just going to keep hitting that until those shots roll over to it. No, damn it. Okay, good thing we collected extra ball. I really want this Kirk sub wizard mode on this game. That'd be a great start. The absolutely crazy animations done by Mr. Figgy D, Matt “Count D” Montgomery. All right, door starts hitchhiker still. Let's go ahead and do that. The mode restarts in this game are pretty easy to get to. for instances like what just happened to me, where you kind of, you hit the out lane really quick in a mode, you're like, oh shoot, I want to get back to that, well, let's see, move to the left, ah, they never quite roam when I want them to, okay, left ramp, let's Let's see, let's see. Right ramp? Oh, not quite. Not quite. There we go. Okay, the white shots are strobing now. That means we're about to get ourselves multiball. I love these buildups, man. All right. Hitchhiker multiball is one of the more simple multiballs in this game. It's pretty much just you have various jackpots lit, and they are roaming around. Different values. Purple is super jackpot. Yeah, score points. Do that. That's all you've got to focus on. Oh dang. I want that right ramp where my super is. No! No! Yes! Oh, we got left orbit for super now. I'm usually just chasing around the super, because obviously it scores the most points, so it's the one I want. I think, as they say, we're kind of blowing it up right now. One there. Oh, he spoke too soon. That's what I get. Yeah, that was a really good multiball. Really good multiball on Hitchhiker there. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, okay. That is the end of that game. We're going to get this Kirk sub-wizard mode. I love it. I want to play it very bad. But maybe next game we'll focus on, like, Pam and hook multiball. Something like that. Let's see here. I think I want to focus on getting the hooklock multiball this time around. and then when I go for Kirk, that'll be the quiet game. All right, we got our first hook lock lit. So a couple hits to the captive ball and then the right orbit lock shot is how you throw a freaking ball on a meat hook, dude. All right, we'll keep that going. Keep that going. try and... I will inadvertently, surely light four modes to start while I'm doing this. Yeah, like door multiballs ready to start now. I'll probably light leather face because I'll miss and hit that ramp. I love in this game that like every time you're shooting shots, you're shooting around, you are progressing something. Okay. Oh, that would have been a good setup. This game has a million, gazillion amazing flipper setups for like whatever your next shot is. Once you're really familiar with the layout, it's very easy to just, like, I want to hit the right orbit. Okay, I'm going to hit the upper right ramp off my upper left flipper to set that up. There's a million things you can do. It's incredible. Ah! Don't hit that. No! Shoot. Okay, well, we're doing door multiball first. Oh, that was nice. Right into the scoop, huh? Okay, so I got the door multiball going here. I gotta hit the ball off the magnet to start it. And now we are in the official door multiball. So you have your red shots for your jackpots kind of across the playfield. You can keep hitting the door in the center to light super jackpot. Oh, I thought I could get that there, which I would certainly like to cash check. What am I trying to say? Words are hard, man. Words are hard. Oh, I just want that super shot. Okay. I'm trying to hit the door. Ignoring everything else to hit the door, in fact. Ball save? No ball save? No ball save. Okay, no super jackpot. That's fine. This just gets us back to working on hook multiball. Give me that ball. All right, one more captive ball hit like that. And we have hook multiball lit. Oh, that would have been so savage. We have hook multiball lit. Now you'll notice that scoop orbit didn't just go around the orbit. Why didn't it just go around the orbit? Because if you hold the left flipper up on that middle scoop here, the one that shoots around the orbit, If you hold the left flipper up when it kicks out, it actually does a soft plunge so that you can feed the left flipper instead of going all the way around. Something really handy for when you're trying to hit a right orbit shot or a right ramp and you don't want to put it over here where everything's going to be going the opposite direction. So really a handy tip there. Then I miss anyway and it doesn't matter. We just need the right orbit and here it is. Yay! I love when it works. Okay, hook multiball. We have a ton going on. I'm sorry for the amount of yapping that you're about to endure. So we have a bunch of super jackpot options in this mode. There is a super jackpot at the door if you hit the captive ball. There's a super jackpot at the meat grinder, where you can stash a ball on the meat grinder. You have 2x scoring while it is on there. You can also cash your super jackpot there. We have, of course, a super jackpot at the hooks. Each individual hook has their own separate jackpot in which I can change what is... Oh, dang it. Ah, I blew it. Okay. We'll get it again. Each hook has its own individual jackpot there where I can change which hook the ball goes to with my extra flipper button. And there's also a super jackpot at the freezer itself. Stay out of the room. I was trying to do a death save mid-multiball. It was a little ambitious, maybe. A little ambitious. What am I going for right now? What do I want to... What do we want to see? Let's see. We have Leatherface. Okay, well, we're going to drain first. That's what we're going to do. Maybe we'll go... Yeah, we'll play Leatherface. Maybe some Witch Chase. Get Franklin going. Be a good idea. Okay. So now, with the Leatherface and Woods Chase modes, we have some pretty cool... I'm really excited to show you guys. But as for now, you're going to be hitting the door to chop it down to get to your victims. and then once you're inside... Once you are inside, you are killing your victims. My phone's ringing. I almost can guarantee it's Mr. Christopher Franchi trying to call me right now. It's on wheels and I can't death save? No way. Okay. Okay. What do we do? What do we do? Oh, we want to play. Pam would be awesome. We can do that. Go back for Hook. Or we can finish Leatherface. I should have selected his character before going into his mode. Every new ball, you get the opportunity to select a character again. One. One. Maximum focus on hitting this door. Two. Three. We got it. Okay, so you get through the door. It does that super awesome thing there. God, I love that. I love that. And once you're in, you get a ball save, which, thank the Lord. And then you're shooting your red shots to slice your victims. So currently, if you hit enough red shots, it will light another phase of chopping down the door to get to another victim. We are keeping that. We are also just like I said we going to be adding some more details and features to the Leatherface mode to really beef it up Same thing with the woods chase mode which you see in a second here Oh that was nice All right. One more shot on woods chase. And then if we beat the woods chase mode, we can play Franklin. You have to say it that way. Over. Not quite. Bounce. Bounce. Don't drain. Come on. You know it's there. Yes. Alright. So you are chaining shots together, hitting combos to chase the victims into the house, and then you enter the house to trap them in the house. This one, we have a really, really cool extra phase planned for when you do trap victims in the house going forward. It's going to be awesome. I'm really excited for everybody to see it. Oh, wow. So there was another look at some more Texas Chainsaw Massacre gameplay. Like I said, if you were there for the stream last night, thank you for trying your best to stick it out. We hit a whole bunch of modes last night. A ton of modes today as well. And again, there's still modes. I haven't even gotten to play with you guys yet on here, and we're still adding more modes in the future, and the current modes that are in the game, we're fleshing out more, we're adding new features to them, so yeah, we're really, really proud of where the code is at on this game, I think it's pretty badass, I think the video speaks for itself, I think you guys are really gonna love it, I can't wait to get it out into the wild, like I said, this holiday break feels like it's taking forever, I just wanna get back to getting these games done on the production line, as you can see behind me, whole row of TCM there, And if I turn this guy just a little bit more that way, there's Looney Tunes all behind it as well.
