It's really cold and it made it really refreshing the whole day to just walk around in like two and a half feet of water. They just had them all over the place and it was great. And they're talking about the fact that they have four kids, and they're so excited because they feel like they did it right. I really don't like Iron Maiden. whereas with Deadpool not only is the pin fun but I'm at the point where I've played it probably about two maybe 250 times and I'm starting to think like man I don't want to play it but every time I say that I'm like it's an amazing pin and I love the theme is there ever going to be a theme that gets anywhere close to Deadpool for me like theme will keep a pin here for a lot longer wait a second so wrecking ball would fit if you were playing Junkyard so there's a thomas the tank engine sonic rom hack and it has a triple remix of the sonic one boss muci the thomas the tank engine theme and wrecking ball okay i think it okay this is a dirty toes i think it looks great but impulse buys don't perpetuate a culture of better and better pinball machines why do they care how great the play is if they can just throw back to the future or some other nostalgic theme on it to grab you I mean, that's really well thought out and hard to argue with, Dirty Toast. I mean, what you're saying is that we as consumers, it's our job to make sure that we don't just buy silly stuff and ultimately reward shoddy manufacturing or shoddy design. I gotta say it really feels like to me that Black Knight is kind of subpar subpar it just doesn't seem like the play field is not doing anything unique I mean the splitting flail was kind of cool but is that where all the design went in the game I'd rather have a 2000 Black Knight 2000 thank you Dirty Toast for the heart That sentiment is really hard to argue with, sir. Archer is awesome. I like Iron Maiden because I really loved Archer. So Archer, if you're unfamiliar, was the original theme that Keith Elwin and his brother, I think, designed the Iron Maiden pin for. And I think after an illuminating conversation with Jack Danger on stream where he talked about what kind of themes that Gary Stern would approve. I think I understand a little bit more about why Stern chooses the things they do. CMK, oh, just shut up and take my money. That's the way I feel, but now I feel like I'm not doing my job as a part of the capitalistic consumerism regime. Oh, that's good. Of making sure that Stern feels, I guess, how awful life can be if they don't try hard. That was mean. I hate going into those pops. And Tiki Pinball agrees Black Knight is lacking. And it's the same thing with DLC. why would they put it in the game as long as they know you're going to blow an extra $5 to have the shiny I agree, I don't like DLCs unless it's amazing and also I guess on the software side having spent so much time in that I get that, like put out a core product that is tested, that's functional that works really really well and then add the additional content at a later time, I think that works well with software development DLC is fine, it just depends on what it is CNK really likes Black Knight so I feel like objectively there's ingenuity maybe lacking in that, and I'm not an engineer so I look at the backplate with the cool fire and I think that's great but it doesn't affect gameplay but what went into that? That was some amazing lighting and who knows, that's some over the top engineering to get that to work at the price point they were looking for, plus to flail and to have that work consistently enough. I'm shitting, I guess, when I say that I don't like the game or I didn't think it pushed the boundaries of pinball design any further. But honestly, at the end of the day, man, I write software. I don't engineer pinball. So, you know, take everything I'm saying with an awful grain of salt. But at the same time, the one game that I kept going back to... That's awesome. the one game I kept going back to at Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown over an early rev of Willy Wonka even was Black Knight the music was amazing it kept you pumped and it's an aggressive game I don't want to own it at home I think because I would get bored of it quickly but at the show to me I went back and played that way more than I did Willy Wonka Well, Wonka had a much longer line. There's only one Wonka and there's three Black Knights. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't bring, like, logic into the argument. Also, all the other games there, there weren't anything...
