TL;DR

Bug streams Scooby-Doo pinball with family and friends, discussing mechanics and tangential topics.

Summary

Bug hosts a five-player casual stream on Scooby-Doo-Doo pinball machine with family and friends (Rod, Andy, Lincoln, and Fiona) during Matariki (New Zealand New Year). The group plays live without practice, discusses game mechanics and modes, and digresses into tangential conversations about Dracula lore, Disney theming, and theme park experiences. The stream showcases Scooby-Doo's mode design, multiball stacking, and upper playfield mechanics while maintaining a relaxed, humorous tone.

Key Claims

  • Scooby-Doo originally shipped with posts in the high position, making the game play longer and allowing upper playfield multiball repeatedly

high confidence · Bug discussing early code of Scooby-Doo during gameplay commentary

  • Later code versions changed the post position to lower, making the game significantly more draining and limiting upper playfield multiball to one occurrence before it becomes something else

high confidence · Bug explaining the difference between early and current code versions mid-stream

  • Spooky is 'the undisputed best at modes' with modes that feel integrated into theme rather than just 'shooting flashing lights'

medium confidence · Bug's opinion expressed during gameplay commentary

  • Rod's household has over 100 pinball machines (down from more previously) and over 400 soft toys

high confidence · Bug describing the collection housed in their games room during stream

  • Andy started playing pinball about a year ago after being invited to a competitive tournament

high confidence · Andy's backstory shared during stream introduction, with Bug confirming 'only started playing a year ago'

  • Lincoln has played approximately 100 tournaments according to his IFPA record

high confidence · Lincoln stating he checked his IFPA record during stream

  • Scooby-Doo-Doo ride at Movie World on the Gold Coast has been closed for years and recently reopened with reduced features (axes no longer swing)

medium confidence · Bug and Andy discussing their recent visit to the attraction during stream

  • Rod and Fiona have been dating/married since 1990 and started playing pinball together while courting

high confidence · Fiona's backstory shared during stream introduction

  • “Spooky is the undisputed best at modes. That's what I've always said since Alice Cooper. Best modes actually feel like fun. Yes, that's right. It's not just shooting flashing lights. It's shoot the red shots just because real modes. Yeah. Integrated into the theme of the game.”

[name withheld pending review] @ mid-stream — Strong endorsement of Spooky's mode design philosophy and integration of theme with mechanics

Signals

  • ?

gameplay_signal: Scooby-Doo's post position (high vs. low) dramatically affects game difficulty and length; early code with high posts creates longer, more accessible gameplay, while later code with low posts makes the game significantly more draining and challenging

high · Bug detailed explanation: 'early code... got a sort of a little bit of a long playing wreck because the posts were in the high position' vs. 'with the later code you can only do the upper playfield multiball one time before it becomes something else'

  • ?

design_philosophy: Spooky Pinball prioritizes thematic integration of modes with game mechanics; modes feel 'integrated into the theme' rather than being abstract 'flashing lights' mechanics

high · Bug: 'Spooky is the undisputed best at modes... It's not just shooting flashing lights. It's shoot the red shots just because real modes... Integrated into the theme of the game.'

  • ?

[music] We are here. We are happening. It is all on. And I'm reading the chat and uh I'm laughing because people have clocked us for skipping. Oh yeah. No, no. The audio is coming now. We're good. [snorts] Um, we skipped Rick and Morty, TNA, Domino's, Halloween, and Ultram Man, but no one no one can clock us. No one needs to know. [snorts] Um, we will get around to those at some point. But Scooby was the perfect pick for today because it is Matariki. It is uh basically the New Zealand New Year because Matariki is the star cluster we see at the start of the Mai New Year.

    Might be too loud.
    1:16
Well, I'm going to stick with it. Okay, five players. We're locked in. Um, I asked everyone who they want to be. Well, I asked two people who they wanted to be.
    1:26
I might be Fred. I've got to be Velma cuz I most like Velma. I can't help myself. I'm going to go Velma cuz [laughter] I am Velma. I am Velma personified. I have to. Um, all right. Let's go.
    1:39
I have not practiced at all. This is my practice game. We're practicing live.
    1:43
    Live practice.
    1:45
Is that too loud? What's your favorite skill shot? chair. I don't know what my favorite skill shot is.
    1:50
Me, I I just always smack in the standups to get some more Scooby targets.
    1:53
Yeah, well, that's what I always think. I think the Scooby targets is easy and advantageous for gameplay. [singing]
    1:59
    Nice job.
    2:00
I can always turn it down. All right. What am I doing? It's been so long since I played this game. I came down and set up this morning. We're good. [singing] Um, when I played this game at Brisbane Pinball Masters, I'll also move that. I might just turn that a little bit.
    2:18
That'll be nice. I played um
    2:23
Lambo at this game and he just like kept going for It wasn't in Brisbane. It was in Wellington. He just kept going for the ramp and the lock and the ramp and the lock. But I really like the mode. So I want to try and show those off today if I can. Watch me not show off any. Um we'll get there. There we go. Mo's ready. Just need to get the ball under control, but light Scooby snacks along [singing and music] the way. I had quite the uh practice of pinball last night at our local tournament. Doesn't mean I did anything. I got the Velma mode first, bro. Look at that.
    3:01
I can't see without them. [music]
    3:10
They must be around here somewhere.
    3:12
That's me, bro. Every time I have a shower, that's me. Where are my glasses? [laughter]
    3:19
All right, we got to search.
    3:22
Is that not the coolest thing ever? The way it stops the ball and then throws it over. Ah, big fan.
    3:27
    So much innovation.
    3:29
    # innovation.
    3:31
I will admit, I will admit to you, Chad, because you [laughter] are faithful. Scooby is not my go-to spooky game. It is for a few of the faro, few of the family, but not quite for me. Uh, I prefer something a bit more like Alice Coop or something. I find this game, maybe it's the fact it's a wide body, a little bit [singing] more um of a challenge compared. But today, I'm facing a fear destroyed my sleep. OH NO, DRACULA'S on the way.
    4:17
[laughter] Okay, come on. [music] If only she just kept them on her face, bro. That's so we [laughter] wouldn't have to fight them.
    4:30
10 seconds to find them. Oh my goodness. I'm collecting too many Scooby snacks. I need to get up the middle. Okay, ran out of time. Dracula got her. Sorry, Velma. [laughter]
    4:44
    Death is nigh. Dracula happened.
    4:48
Something was telling me last night that Dracula or I was watching a thing that Dracula has like a
    4:55
    Dracula. Yeah, like backstory.
    4:59
    The actual pinball machine.
    5:01
No, no, no. Uh there's like a there's like a story [singing] with Dracula's like backstory. He was actually like a good guy and was running like blood donations or something [singing] like it was actually a tragedy and I thought he was just like some monster. I don't know if you can see
    5:15
the the actual the actual the actual dude that like a real dude in Transylvania real castle.
    5:21
    Yeah.
    5:21
But u it's true at this stage like the 1700s or something.
    5:27
    Yeah.
    5:28
    I doubt it's all been
    5:30
I don't know. I heard some random stuff.
    5:32
Probably like a member of the Lions or the or the Rotary Club and was um boys [singing] donating to the public.
    5:39
Next minute he's sucking blood out of them.
    5:41
Isn't that what you were doing? H
    5:45
    bloody club day.
    5:47
    Ah, yes, that's right.
    5:49
    That's where the name's from.
    5:50
That's doing good for the community. [music]
    5:54
    I don't On only
    5:56
It would be great to be able to shoot that uh Mo Friday. would be that
    6:01
would be that would be very cool. We get the lock. There we go. [laughter]
    6:06
It got caught in the spinner. I I ripped the spinner too hard.
    6:09
Too much ripping. Pay attention for a time and soon your thoughts shall be mine. [music] You took a chance on the mystery. Now, let's see what it'll be.
    6:26
    Boom. Case qualified.
    6:28
You don't even need to shoot. So good. Thank goodness. It must have known I struggled.
    6:34
    Well, [laughter] creeper.
    6:37
    Creeper.
    6:40
    I think the smoke
    6:44
    creeper.
    6:46
I actually like the smoke cuz it's quite like [laughter] a good warm up to be able to like hit the shots as I'm not doing them.
    6:53
Hurry. I want to um I really want to be able to light the next Scooby stack.
    7:03
I think our Scooby is uh joining us at some point.
    7:07
    Not that guy.
    7:10
The only case the only case he's solving is where where all the food is.
    7:13
Only when you have it. Um Roa Dave is the ultimate provider of treats to our spooky ruby room. Of course, he he guilts me into it because I'm so starved.
    7:25
Tap the action button as possible. [laughter]
    7:30
    The ultimate toast enabler.
    7:32
Toast en Oh, bugger. That's why I always like picking Scooby normally is cuz I like having that lit cuz it just goes. [laughter] All right. Well, that was a start.
    7:44
    Yay.
    7:45
Now you get to play Roto Dave. [laughter]
    7:48
Okay. I like to choose Scooby just cuz he's got a Scooby's perk is the one of those uhoh lanes lit and this game is quite drainy on the left hand [music] side. Someone asked in the um in the chat before what's the uh what changes will be made to the game. The answer is none. All my games are always on factory settings unless there's something broken in the game that needs to be fixed and all. I don't really do any mods or anything like that because waste of money. So, uh here we go. Uh what do we do? I want to do Scooby and we want to do that skill shot there. So then that spawns some more Scooby snacks. [music] I want to collect that full Scooby snacks.
    8:33
Yes, as Danny said, we didn't do any practicing. So, it would have been probably advantageous to do some practicing [music] nail in these. I like to backand all the shots, but it takes a second to dial them all in. And the computer's rotten away. In you go. Come on, sucker.
    8:52
Then you go, Raggy. Nice. I had no no Raggy enabled in this game. If that little guy
    9:10
a only like quick points, small points is lackluster. What's this dude? Robbie the robots. That's a U roving shot that goes from left to right for memory. [music] Now the other thing you do too on the screen you'll see the times two. And so you keep that up high. The maximum is two. You want to keep that up high by collecting Scooby snacks as you're running around [laughter] the playfield. It's quite a clever mode cuz not only do you have the roaming shot, you um you can shoot the yellow shots, which I was just going to do then, but then missed. Oh, and the uh the yellow shots will then blank off so the uh the Roman shot can't go there. [music] That's quite a clever little quite a clever little mode just for the a clever little addition for the lucky rubber shot. A clever addition for just basically a very simple mode. So wait, she goes back on the ramp there. There we go. There's one. And the other thing you want to keep on spawning Scooby snacks as well. Where's he going? didn't get to me. But that's closed that lane down. Moving around quite fast, faster than I missing all these shots.
    10:32
There's one. Okay, so here we go. So now you can choose from. You can either shoot. I like the risk and reward. It's counting down fast. You can either go to try and maximize Oh, [ __ ] Well,
    10:48
completely hand that up. That was garbage.
    10:52
Oh, well, let's introduce player three. Who's player three, Danny?
    10:54
    Andrew, you're here.
    10:55
    I'm here.
    10:56
    Hello.
    10:57
    Hi.
    10:58
So, Andrew, what's your pinball story? How did you get into it all?
    11:02
    We started dating.
    11:04
And about a week after you're like, come to this competition. I was like, oh yeah, sweet. Cool. It's going to be so like, you know, so chill. And there's like 100 people [singing] here. And I was like, man, I started playing pinball last night. This is great.
    11:17
    [laughter]
    11:18
So, we met playing axes. We did competitive [singing] axe throwing.
    11:21
    Playing axes.
    11:22
    And my dad had
    11:24
    a pinball machine there.
    11:26
And yeah, just hit it off.
    11:29
    Yeah.
    11:29
    And now you're here.
    11:30
    Now I'm here.
    11:31
    Sorry about that.
    11:32
No, it's good. I know. [laughter]
    11:34
Um, so who are you going to pick today? You definitely Fred is available.
    11:39
    Yes.
    11:40
I [singing] got to leave I got to leave Fred.
    11:43
Yeah, Fred. Someone else is choosing Fred today, I heard.
    11:46
Yeah. [singing] So read I got Shaggy or Deafne. Well
    11:49
mode super shaggy sandwich. I do like a sandwich. I don't like running.
    11:55
    There you go.
    11:56
    Good luck.
    11:57
    A big runner.
    11:59
    I'm I am a big runner. [music] The [ __ ] is this? [laughter]
    12:17
What are you doing for [music]
    12:20
uh multiball if I can? [music]
    12:37
    [music]
    12:40
Otherwise, just like what one are you in now?
    12:44
    Uh, there's a
    12:44
    creeper. A creeper. Creeper.
    12:48
    Creeper. [laughter]
    12:54
    [laughter]
    13:03
the others before that creeper fights us.
    13:08
    Here comes [laughter] creeper.
    13:13
Your skills are impressive, Andy, for a guy who only started playing a year ago. [laughter]
    13:17
    Thank you.
    13:19
You should have seen me last night losing every game. We had a max max a max match play last night at brothers brothers brewing here in Oakland and uh we had 20 players last night. I think 25 people showed up. 20 people in the competition.
    13:35
Next we've got my favorite of the nephews. [laughter] There's no favorites. There's no favorites. He just is the one that's here today cuz it's a public holiday, not a school day today. Mr. Lincoln. That's me.
    13:51
    [laughter]
    13:52
What's your primal story link? [singing and music]
    13:54
    So this guy here,
    13:58
Mr. Ro day, my grandfather. [music]
    14:01
    Ah, makes me sound old
    14:02
    over there.
    14:03
    That's my name.
    14:04
    Yeah,
    14:06
I used to come here a lot and [music] want to play with this. [singing]
    14:13
You were just used to used to stand on a chair. [singing] school. Uh, and [music] I've played around 100 tournaments, [singing] I think, on I checked on my FBA. So, we'll see how this is going to go.
    14:29
Have you played 100 tournaments? Really? That's That's impressive.
    14:32
    He's played many. I'll
    14:34
How many have we played? How many How many have I played?
    14:36
    300.
    14:38
And listen, Lincoln is the coolest person here today. So, give up for Lincoln. You have to choose Destiny. I heard is close to [laughter]
    14:46
I heard that you must choose Deafany.
    14:48
    Yeah, I'll get in trouble.
    14:49
Well, Deaf's the closest one to Sydney Sweeney on the game, so you can choose that one.
    14:54
    Shut up.
    14:57
    Yeah, keep it family. [laughter]
    15:06
    Look at him go.
    15:07
We have a mystery. I'll get to the mystery machine. [music] Scooby [music] morning for really should have had some practice before we started doing the stream. typical uh ADHD pattern. Show up 20 minutes before the stream and crank it up.
    15:48
Got licky commentate game as you go, buddy.
    15:51
    What are you going for?
    15:53
    The break.
    15:53
    Yeah.
    15:54
Okay, that's [laughter] he only wanted the short turn.
    16:00
    That's right. All right.
    16:01
    Now it's my turn.
    16:02
I was going TO SAY WE'VE GOT FIONA. FIONA'S BACK. She was a part of uh
    16:06
    come out of retirement.
    16:08
    What stream were we playing?
    16:10
She just changed to massac playing pinball forever.
    16:15
She's even ripping the spooky with the Looney Tune shirt. Dang. When are we going to forget that game? Come [screaming] on. Um listen, Fiona.
    16:25
You're okay. You're going to speak nice and loud. You're going to belt it out. Tell us your pitbull story. Okay, [laughter] COOL. THAT'S A REALLY good story.
    16:36
When I when I met RD [laughter]
    16:38
    RD in 1990
    16:41
and um we used to when we were courting, we used to go and play pinball. [singing and music]
    16:46
Where did you used to play pinball back in
    16:48
up up in Oakuckland at this place that's not there anymore, of course. And um yeah, and then he had one machine and then there was two machines and
    16:58
and then it took over the house.
    17:00
Mach and [laughter] then we had to move cuz we had too many machines and now we've got over 100 machines.
    17:06
We got less than we used to.
    17:07
Yeah. How good. And now you chose Fred. You said before we started my character. So you got to show him off.
    17:13
    Look at his naked cheek.
    17:14
    Yeah. She's always fancied.
    17:17
    Well, funny cuz
    17:18
now I'm now you're all in trouble. Scooby-Doo was made in like 1969 or something. So, you and Fred are about the same age.
    17:28
I'm not answering. [laughter] You never know.
    17:31
You never know. You're better condition than free.
    17:34
You should get a nick of chest.
    17:35
I think I will. I'll hide my wrinkles. [laughter]
    17:41
    Definitely getting the
    17:42
As you know, I'm not very [music] I played a lot of pinball, but I'm not very good at pinball. [laughter] But here we go. She can be good where she wants to be. Pretty good on the old games. The old games [singing] are your go.
    17:54
Yeah, old games are my games.
    17:56
We've got a uh restored Paragon and Lost World sitting in the in our lounge here in this house and uh they give lots of daily use from uh Nana [music] always cranking the Lost World and trying to get the 5x up. As you can see, I'm not very good at getting my shots.
    18:16
    Back hand that sucker. So,
    18:19
    see that?
    18:19
    Yeah.
    18:20
    So, good. [laughter]
    18:27
Not one of their jaw streer specials.
    18:32
But I do love the best machine.
    18:33
    Yeah, I'm trying. Okay. Oh,
    18:40
leave me behind. All right, we're back up. What happened to your ball?
    18:48
    My one?
    18:49
    Shut up, bro.
    18:50
    Mine?
    18:50
    Yeah.
    18:51
Yeah. I was going along nice and then the ball just came straight down the middle and I sort of just missed it and it went between the flipper [music] and the stand up target and I look like an idiot on the street.
    18:59
Anyway, that's the way she goes.
    19:01
Wow. Uh, one second. Let me just change [music and singing] one thing. We're good. We're good. We're good. All right. Now, I agree. Spooky is the undisputed best at Mo's chat. That's what I've always said since Alice Cooper. Best modes actually feel like fun.
    19:16
    Yes, that's right.
    19:17
It's not just shooting flashing lights. It's
    19:19
shoot the red shots just because
    19:21
    real modes.
    19:22
Yeah. Integrated into the theme of the game.
    19:26
Theming? What is that? Oh my gosh. You know what's I can't say that
    19:30
theming is spooky. [singing] Spooky is theming.
    19:33
I could totally rip some like
    19:37
Just do it. No one gives a [ __ ] [music and singing]
    19:40
    Listen. Listen, [laughter] look,
    19:42
    listen.
    19:44
Let's just do a Jurassic Park game that's just a logo and our one guy
    19:49
    and and the theme song.
    19:51
    Yeah.
    19:52
And a and a nondescript van that's not licensed off anything.
    19:55
    Welcome to Jurassic Park.
    19:57
And the world's worst South African/ Australian/ New Zealand.
    20:01
Australian vice. I don't know why it wasn't South African. Is that where did you park the car? [laughter] Um,
    20:09
    get to know
    20:11
    to be rescued.
    20:12
It sounds the same level as Champion Pub.
    20:17
Champion Pub was like back in the day. Get better voice actors.
    20:21
    I don't know. Sorry. Sorry.
    20:24
Get a real live Australian or a real life South African.
    20:27
I just had to say how I felt after last night playing it again and thinking about it. I'm like, what? How? Anyways, I'm playing. I'm shutting up. rescue and quick. [laughter] How did I miss that, bro? All right, two clues to qualify. We can do this.
    20:48
Oh, my favorite. The clinging clanging bells of
    20:53
chains. Got it. [music and singing] See, sorted. We're so on.
    21:01
    We're locked in.
    21:02
Watch out for the space cook. [laughter] Space Cook is in poster. SO space cook.
    21:10
    Here we go. Oh,
    21:16
bro. At least I wrote wrong.
    21:21
    He's such a cook. [laughter]
    21:25
Oh, it's going on fire. Where's the spooners? Where's the spooners? Right here. Hey. Oh. I got to get some shots to get this stuff going, bro. There we go. I was like, I was disconcertingly [laughter] quiet. I was like, we got to go ring. I rubbed and rolled the other. [laughter] I can't shoot the shot, baby. Did you SEE THAT?
    21:49
    I DID. Express strings.
    21:52
Ah, as I said, we didn't practice. It's fine.
    21:55
You didn't come for good games. You came for practice.
    21:57
That's right. Just came to listen to me. Just came for slander dress. And you see that our um our games got the it came from the factory like this with the post in the lower position. I believe the uh earlier ones came with them in the up position which makes the game play for ages. But when you put them in the lower position it's um becomes [singing] totally changes [music] the game. It becomes quite drainy. So you can either have it on this game you either have a really long game or it's not a really long game.
    22:26
I should really lock a ball on the apron. And I should also go up the top. I mean, um, cuz I've played the game so long, I have to sort of remember it.
    22:32
We go up the top and, uh, [laughter] number Oh, number one, we'll lock a ball on that gold mine thing if we can get it into the gold mine. Lock this. Oh, I've already got one locked. Oh, that's good.
    22:44
    That's from me, bro.
    22:45
Oh, yeah, but I can steal your ball.
    22:46
    Oh, rude.
    22:47
Yeah, that's good. So, um, if I steal your ball, [music] I can't remember if you actually just [singing] fully steal it or not. Can't remember.
    23:06
Come on, bro. Pop the rubber. There we go. [music] Nice, nice, nice, nice, [singing] nice noise. So, in the early Oops. Okay. In the early code of this [singing] game when it first came out, it um got a sort of a little bit of a long playing wreck because the posts were in the high position just in a conservative position and you could do the um upper playfield upper playfield multiball all the time. So the um that was close [singing] the um so but yeah with the later code you can only do the you can only do the upper playfield um multibball one time before it becomes something else. So you can't, it's actually quite quite well done in the terms of a lot of games with upper play fields like a black knight for example or any of the black knights you want to stay in the upper playfield all the time. This game sort of does it quite well where you only want to go up to the oh that switch is a bit not sensitive. Um you only want to go up to the upper play field when you need to. [music] You don't want to be up the upper playfield all the time or if you never train. So quite good rules design. So, this is the first time I've really been up there cuz I'm trying to [singing and music] get that multiball going. And this I always find that that targets the hardest one to hit. [music] Come on. Over you go. Over you go sucker. Ah.
    24:25
Okay. Here we go. Try and backand like this. There we go. Hey, there we go. One more.
    24:31
Why not? Let's do that. Okay. So, now we can hit some shots. Get a bit of a multiball thing going.
    24:41
straight into if I can stack this whole stack stack this with the other mult hopefully that starts scoopy snack multi ball that's cool now I got both going at the same time so try and get the scooby snacks cuz I think in the moldy ball from memory the scoopy snacks are worth twice a This movie
    25:14
[music] going down as well. Oh, that's no good. Got some voice.
    25:42
As I've said before on streams, I'm not the world's best multiball player. I really need to work on [singing and music] that aspect of my game. I prefer single ball play.
    25:50
Oh, Captain Clo's always [clears throat] find the longest mode. Come up under control. And then up you go. No.
    26:02
So if bash Captain Cutler get the very clever mode, you have to keep on filling up his air tanks all the time and then that lights shots on the lower play field. There's a lot of shots to get. So you have to keep on getting up the top again and filling up his air tanks.
    26:16
Otherwise, old Captain Cutler's head's exploding from you get the bends. [laughter] Have to go in the uh the compression chamber. Poor old captain. See you in Cat something. Cutler oxygen full. Thank you. That's nice. Let's uh get some Scooby snacks while we're at it. Or note. Oops. You go, champ. And we're looking for Get your snap so you can
    26:53
keep your uh [music] keep your point multiplier up high. A secret passage.
    26:59
Oh, right up. Secret. I love a secret passage.
    27:02
Time we split up is going
    27:04
right. So you now here we are before. You can choose the time is running. You can choose to multiply your final shot by doing various things. Like in this case, you got a bit captain cutler. But then you got to be careful that your time doesn't run out. So we've got I think at this stage I've done it two times. I'm going to try and spank that because you don't always get it the first time. And then the music's really well done. know that you're it really give you that stress that you're really running out of time and you're about to suck.
    27:34
So, we should have got some good multipliers on that. So, capturing Captain Cutler has given us two traps, 12 million points. Thank you. Woo! Captain Cutler. Oh, you see that? I got bummed out there. Hope that safes go. Just took a little bit of a slight detour there, which we don't want.
    27:58
    [music]
    28:06
    Nice work, dude. [music]
    28:14
Right. What's defin going to give me this time? Something good.
    28:19
2 million. Creepers being very popular today.
    28:23
Yeah. It's just catching the side of that rubber there and uh heading off down the down the middle in an unfortunate fashion. As long as you know about it, you can accompate. Oh, that was dumb. Ball safe. No. No ball safe. Get out. Okay. Ball. Okay. Who's player three? Andy, there's me. Andy. Andy. What a nice comment. 156 mill. Thank you. I got my work cut out for me.
    28:52
    [music]
    29:05
I should have done the other one. [music] Too long.
    29:20
    [music]
    29:30
    Monsters. [laughter]
    29:31
No, silly. Remember, monsters aren't real.
    29:35
Yeah, but they are still really scary.
    29:39
It's time for another mystery. [music] Did you see machine? [music]
    29:57
    [music]
    29:59
Come on, Andy. Speak it up. Get a bit of vibe going on screen there, pal.
    30:02
    All right, let's uh
    30:04
    pull your shots. Let's
    30:06
go for a bit machine. Start that mode going. Oh, boy. Nearly lose it.
    30:12
I I fully admit that I did do a bug thing and loosen up the top knob a bit. [laughter] Otherwise, he would tilt fully tilt it then if it's set up like that way we normally have it.
    30:22
The game is modified a little bit to scream just so we can have some lull saves.
    30:27
    That was pretty clever Andy.
    30:29
I lifted the flipper so that the ball could just go straight under.
    30:32
    That was good. [laughter] [singing]
    30:36
    Well, the game cable. [music]
    30:39
    Yeah.
    30:41
    [music] [laughter]
    30:54
    with a bit. [music]
    30:58
All right, Lincoln, watch [singing] your game plan going.
    31:01
I'm going to try and get a mode going. [music]
    31:05
I don't know which one, but Well, you're almost at, Captain Cutler. Yo, you're getting Yeah, I'm just going to go [laughter] that um that that target. It's tricky to get.
    31:19
Yeah, [laughter] you got to you got to be right on the money for that one. [music]
    31:41
    [music]
    31:44
    to the mystery.
    31:46
    Very lucky. [music]
    31:51
    All right, here we go.
    31:54
    Get to the mystery machine.
    31:55
    YOU GOT IT.
    31:56
    WOO! DID you see that?
    31:59
    He nailed it.
    32:01
One locked. getting forgot his name. The black knight. The black knight. Is he the black knight? 2000. [laughter] That's I get that
    32:21
    on the upper
    32:22
is also a gimbal machine. [music] ripped off.
    32:53
There's people on stream asking when's Yoda coming back on.
    32:56
They had enough of the sausage fest. They wanted the grandma fest.
    33:01
That's so [laughter] so mean to your wife. All right, come on.
    33:06
That's all right. Come on. Come on. Anyway, I'm going to get to get your ticket.
    33:10
I know. I should have put it in the break room. Is there one [laughter] in this household?
    33:17
    Your craft one.
    33:20
    No, don't go down there.
    33:28
Come on. I'm not going out and clear.
    33:38
    Go find yourself. [laughter]
    33:39
Do you want to say hi to your fans on?
    33:41
Say hi to Rochelle. First shell.
    33:43
    [ __ ] mystery.
    33:45
    Oh my coffee.
    33:46
    That's the girl. The girl.
    33:49
Got to get the girls in the chat. Love that. The girlies are happy.
    33:54
    Go get a nick.
    33:56
    About the Scooby-Doo ride.
    33:58
The Scooby-Doo ride. Oh yes. Um, very recently Andrew and I went over to the Gold Coast [music] and the Scooby-Doo ride was
    34:05
    Australia.
    34:07
Yes. Sorry. In Australia. We went to the Gold Coast. Uh, and they've got What is it? It's not Universal Studios, but it's basically
    34:14
    Movie World.
    34:15
Movie World. It's basically like a
    34:17
    brother's Movie World.
    34:18
It's a B-grade Universal Studios. It's the best we've got. And uh we went on the Scooby-Doo ride, which has reopened. And it was the exact same ride, I think.
    34:28
Been closed for years for no apparent reason.
    34:30
    Like like long time.
    34:32
    Swing anymore.
    34:32
The axes don't swing anymore. We used to, you know, in the movie, if you've ever watched a live action movie where the axes swing, you used to go through the axes, you know, like they do in the movie, and that's that's gone.
    34:43
    It's a crazy mouse ride.
    34:45
Um, yeah, it's a bit boring now, just like me playing this game. So, let's uh
    34:49
What you're saying is it's a less a less crazy mouse.
    34:52
    Yeah, it's um
    34:54
it's a slightly insane mouse. [laughter]
    34:57
    NOT not crazy. [clears throat]
    34:58
Unlike Disney, it's not a greedy mouse. Uh, Andrew and I are learning New Zealand sign language and we didn't know the sign for Disney, so we just learned the sign for greedy and mouse instead. Um, so that's good. You know, [music] when's the Disney pinball machines happening?
    35:18
Uh, well, I don't think Disney is actually a thing.
    35:21
    No, not really.
    35:22
Not not actually like a like an all-encompassing one. Yeah, you'd have to have a like a a Mickey Mouse or a Donald Duck.
    35:29
What would you do for a Disney theme? I think they're all kind of messy.
    35:33
Is Mickey That's There's a question for you and a question for the chat. Is Mickey Mouse sort of like a relevant theme even though he's iconic. Is Mickey Mouse a relevant theme in 20 2026? You know, is it is there any Mickey Mouse cartoons or is there any obviously he's an icon, but what's he doing? Is there
    35:54
    what's he doing?
    35:55
Is he going on adventures? Is he just ripping everybody off at his overpriced theme parks? Go to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mickey Mouse Club.
    36:03
    Yeah, that's that's um that's my
    36:06
    [ __ ] hole. Vhole [ __ ] hole. [laughter]
    36:11
Okay. Well, that's getting cut out of the mod. SO, [laughter]
    36:16
    I LOST the ball.
    36:20
    Can't have them. [clears throat]
    36:21
    You can't have um can't have [ __ ] roll. V.
    36:25
This whole mode's going to be cut out as a final game. I just got to put the final cut. That's fine.
    36:31
    Just [laughter]
    36:32
Did you see that, Chad? Did you see how I nailed that?
    36:36
Yeah, you didn't get the multipliers, bro.
    36:38
    I don't need the multipliers.
    36:40
You I do need the multipliers, but I didn't do it
    36:42
cuz anytime I go for the multipliers, I hurry up. It's like um it's like evil.
    36:47
The 300 people watching currently on the chat. Um
    36:50
    the three people.
    36:51
No, 300. Is um I'm I'm projecting is um yeah is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are they are they relevant in 2026 as a theme for a pit machine? Like I say they are iconic. Everyone knows everyone in the whole world knows who Mickey Mouse is. But is it a pinball machine theme? I've se we've seen a steamboat Willie homebrew that's themed off steamboat Willie. So
    37:16
    it's quite cool. I think it's a good like
    37:19
that's that's well done. So that's possible, but [laughter]
    37:22
otherwise Mickey Mouse is sort of like a thing, you know? It's not a
    37:29
    Oh, Mickey.
    37:30
    Oh, where's your credit card?
    37:33
Come to my resort. [laughter] Come to my resort.
    37:40
No, no, no. We got to stop. No, you're not playing here. Come
    37:48
here. Nikka Chief I prepared earlier. I just crafted it out of Scoop and Scooby. So cute. So good. Do you like my very expens
    38:05
    hot new look? [laughter]
    38:08
    All right.
    38:11
All right. Where are we going here, gang? on your brain.
    38:15
Oh, how can you miss those?
    38:19
Right, we got that multi ball going. Yeah, we How's our ball locks looking? [music] Should we qualify a case first? Just miss the ball. Miss the shots all together. Okay, let's do that. Oh jeez. Dave needs to adjust his machine right there because going around and taking horrible angles. Let's send it up the top if we can and try. Hey, we got the skill shot. Can I hit that last? Oh, that's not how you look.
    39:03
    [music] There you are, Shaggy.
    39:10
You sound terrible. I told you to take care of that cold beans. [music]
    39:20
    Oh my god.
    39:24
Come on, Andy. [music] Oh, Andy. Straight down the drain.
    39:30
    Reggie,
    39:32
come on. centur in the final competitions.
    39:37
    Yes,
    39:37
    that's very good. That's impressive.
    39:42
Yeah, someone's going to [laughter] GET up some numbers. That's how I feel sometimes. That's actually how I felt last night. I was blowing so bad when I first about 10:00 it started to um it started to work and it started to rank up to the stores, but then I was sucking potatoes.
    40:08
    Uhoh.
    40:17
So, uh, one thing, one thing that the stream doesn't know is that, um, RD collects pinball machines and, um, Fiona collects soft toys. So,
    40:24
    so do I. I've got
    40:27
Yeah, she's it's like uh, yeah, it's a thing. So, we actually, which is really weird because our house is um our house is sort of totally minimalist. We don't have a lot of stuff. We the actual inside of the house looks like someone burgled it. But in in the games room, there's uh in this particular room, there's 90 pinball machines and probably 400 soft toys. So, uh that's our little collection of crap that we have. But the rest of the stuff, we can't stand junk everywhere. We just have it in [music] here. This is our junk room.
    40:53
Uh one day we'll tidy it up and do a tour.
    40:56
Yeah, we'll do a tour. You'll do a tour sometime over the next couple of streams and show everybody what's going on.
    41:00
    Right.
    41:00
It was quite quite interesting looking at all the pinball machines go back to 1970 onwards.
    41:07
Almost almost as old as Fiona.
    41:08
Now I'll try and get it in the mystery guy now. [laughter]
    41:12
I'd like to get it up the mystery guy.
    41:23
Oh my. Oh, what Scooby time?
    41:33

    41:44
Yeah, the guy that hit up the hit the Captain Nemo thing.
    41:47
Captain, electrify his electrify submarine. How did that exactly know?
    41:58
Captain Nemo is about to get oxygen starvation.
    42:02
    Yeah. WELL, [laughter]
    42:08
    he's running at his
    42:09
    Oh, well,
    42:10
I don't think I think the be is the least of his worries at this stage. [laughter]
    42:15
    Shut up. LOOK AT
    42:17
THERE. OH, IT DIDN'T GO UP. Damn it. He needs to get off to the water tank place. [laughter]
    42:28

    42:53
Oh, no. Don't go down there.
    42:54
That big green thing at the top.
    42:56
    Oh, no. Okay.
    42:58
    Oxygen.
    43:00
And you And then once you get some more oxygen, so you look oxygen's sort of Okay. And then you got to hit the shots down the bottom.
    43:09
    Oh, thanks.
    43:11
You're keeping them alive to hit the shots. Awesome.
    43:14
I keep on pumping up his oxygen tanks as well and get those brown shots down the bottom when they're living. Oh, look at you go with your ball.
    43:24
Keep shooting the dive helmet, gang.
    43:27
    All saves for the win.
    43:28
I know. Lucky for me. [laughter] Get out of here.
    43:40
Let the power of the nicot flow [laughter] through you.
    43:44
    Another game.
    43:45
Yep. Should we have another game?
    43:47
Yeah. another two player or five players.
    43:52
Scooby, [singing] where are you? Something lyric something. We didn't play very good, [singing] but next week A will be back to get the wizard mode. Scooby Doo, why is it so hard to play a wide body? But at least I look like Velma and I made some real good funnies. That's a fact.
