All right, I'm here with the infamous Shny Boy, Russell, and we're actually headed out of the country. We're going to Arizona to the Starf Fighters Pinball Festival. But, uh, on our way out of town, we're going to stop into Kevin's, see what's going on over the Grazley garage before we head out. And, uh, can't wait to be in Arizona cuz look at this. It is, uh,
nasty.
It's white. It's nasty. It's rainy. It's icy. And it's just gross. So, uh, can't wait to get out of here.
See the desert.
Yeah. Yeah. And try not to step on any scorpions.
I'm Mike [music] Dus and this is Pinball Shenanigans. All right, we made it to the Grazley garage. Let's see what Kevin and Dutch is up to. Oh, this is some good packing snow. Let's try. Oh, I missed you. See if the boys are in here. Knock knock.
Hey, there he is. What's going on, dude?
Lots.
Lots. Yeah, that's usually the answer.
Got I brought Shiny Boy with me to check out the action. [snorts]
Well, let's see what you got going on here. Harlem action.
High speed. has been torn apart.
So, yeah. Get away.
Getaway
and highspeed.
That's kind of cool that you're doing both together.
Yeah. I figured they're both going black, so might as well paint them together.
Yep. Might as well.
But yeah, High Speed, the OG and Getaway number two. So, this is uh Getaway head
and high speed body
and head
and head. and Alaska.
Alaska. Yeah, you got a lot of crap going on here. Holy crap. Here's Harlem.
Got like
Harlem.
Harlem Head
Rob
Harlem Plastics.
So, yeah, $6 million man, but that's
and then Harlem playfield swap.
Yeah. Which is almost done now.
Well, it looks like there's not a lot left on this playfield.
This is just the workbench now.
Oh, yeah. Okay. Let's have a look at the before here. That'll make a good wall hanger.
Yeah, I was going to say it probably,
but it was definitely well worn.
Yeah, it was surprisingly clean underneath though for how worn it was.
Was it walls?
Like you mean here?
Yeah.
And just like all the mechs and stuff were like nice,
but compared to evil conval cuz it was pretty nasty, right?
Yeah. And then uh you painted these uh rails up it looks like.
So painted those. That's going to be the same apple red that the bodies were. So
well the there used to be James Rees rails. Now it's Graszly rails. So they're looking good. All right. Let's have a look at the uh Oh We just joeded Knuckles. Uh let's look at the playfield here. This is the uh CPR, brand new playfield. And she is looking good. All ultrasonically clean posts, I imagine.
Yep. Just polish all the screw heads, new [snorts] washers.
Yeah, I was going to say it looks like every single piece of metal has been polished.
Did you even polish this thing?
Did you like remove it? Oh, I guess you don't remove it. You had to install it from the old playfield. But
yeah,
clearly polished them before you installed them.
Yeah. Every single thing is
you can
removed, cleaned, polished.
Yeah. Anything like any little head and stuff like that, like it's going new, so you might as well make it good.
Yeah.
Don't put a bunch of rusty parts back on it. So,
yeah. And then Rob end up changing one to
Oh, okay. And then red so it's mask playfield.
I like that. That's a That's a good little touch there. And you could have went red or blue even on the uh outside pops, but red looks good.
Yeah, he chose red cuz they were all just white.
Mhm. Yeah. Nice touch. Something like so subtle and like for the cost of $1. Why not mix it up?
Yeah.
This is going to be like a one of one when all is said and done because the uh the special cabinet art you're going to do on it.
Yeah. which is like the uh 100th anniversary logo.
Yeah.
Yeah. Basketball. It'll have the hundth
Yeah.
logo on it.
I showed that in a previous video.
Yeah.
And uh that'll be pretty sweet. And uh where are all of the uh arcade games?
I moved them over to the other uh the shop. So
Oh, okay. So you could uh paint in here.
Yeah, I kind of just I moved them over there yesterday.
Oh, you did you? So, [snorts] they're gonna
stack.
Did you get a stack of them?
There's like four different ones. We can go look at them.
Yeah. We'll show Sean cuz he hasn't seen them live. But yeah,
they're stacked over there. So, that but they're should be going on Friday.
Yeah.
So,
so Kevin's going to take these arcade games to a dude. I don't What's his name?
At least his first name. Do you remember? I would give him a shout out. Okay. We'll give you a shout out at some point. But Kevin's taking these arcade games.
Matt. Matt to Matt. All right, there it is. And he's gonna try and get them working and then we're gonna bring them back here and see if we can actually play them because three out of the four were not working.
Four of the four games.
Monte Carlo, Ricochet, Hesitation, and Computer Baseball.
At least he remembers.
And computer baseball game is like
kind of old school.
It's It's like 1974.
It's old school like IBM looking.
Uh kind of. Yeah,
it's like got an IBM.
No, it's a it's like a old
that computer thing that you guys got.
Oh, computer space.
Computer space. That's That's
kind of very like IBMish.
Yes, that's what you're talking about.
One used to look in the arcade like an IBM old IBM. And the thing was honking.
Yeah, I know. This thing is like
It looks like It looks like uh I don't know. It kind of looks like ET to me for some reason.
Oh, the computer
the computer spa uh space. Yeah. We'll let Sean check it out.
And maybe maybe Sean should even play a game of Monte Carlo. He's kind of a he's good at stuff and things. Maybe he can be the first guy ever
to uh get the bonus hole in Mont Monte Carlo because Monte Carlo is actually for sale. So, here it is.
It's got the seat.
It's got the original seat. This is like was new in the box. So, there's there's a couple of these out there floating around in the world. Yeah.
I don't know how many have the original seat and pedestal, though. But there Oh, you got two American quarters to go, too. Sweet. So,
we'll have to uh let Sean give it a try. So, the pedal goes up and down. Steering wheel goes left and right.
You might need to get a little bit of momentum around here, like hard left, hard right to get over the golden bridge. And then you got to try and get into the bonus hole.
Where does it start?
It'll pop out of this thing right here.
Okay.
So, you hit the like uh launch button right here.
Yeah.
And if you get lucky, sometimes you can launch over to this section and kind of cheat your way a little bit. But yeah, so Kevin's going to plug that in. And uh in the meanwhile, snoop around here. There's combat. Dutch is still working on that. We've got the mousing around folded up in the queue. We've got Medusa folded up in the queue. The sea witch is complete witch is leaving tomorrow.
It's leaving tomorrow. All right.
Oh, here he is. We're off to the races. Let's go see. Did you launch yet?
Oh, yeah. Here we go. All right.
See it? When you're sat down, you don't have as good of an angle when the ball's down here, but okay. Come on. Come on, Granny. Pick up the pace.
Easy, fell.
What are you, Sunday driver? [snorts]
Oh, did I hear uh I hear the Dutch? I thought I heard another human. There it is. There. It got moved. So, the level might have changed since it got to this position. All right, sweet. Over the bridge.
Can't see.
Okay. You got to be very careful on number uh 11. I'm warning you. Don't try and go by 11 slowly. But if you can get it in the bonus hole on their first try. Oh, that was actually pretty good. That was really good. 17 hole. Almost got it. But yeah, you do have
Oh, skip.
Did you jump? Oh, you jumped it just like I said. You can cheat the system. You're going to run out of time, but you can still you can still get the bonus hole. You just won't actually win a free game. But if you can get the bonus hole, you'll be the first.
No. Get out of there. Oh,
doesn't mean you can't.
No.
Oh, pulled it off. Oh, that was pretty good. That was pretty good.
Grabing [laughter] my leg.
I guess you kind of like got to level it out, right? When you get to just past that last hole.
Yeah.
Trying to get into there. and and also the level of the machine itself.
Total cramping though.
Little tight quarters there for you. But yeah, so uh have a look. Is this the what you're talking about? This is the computer space.
Yeah.
Thing is pretty honking. It's like 3 ft wide. But this isn't going to matt though, right?
Not right now.
Okay. Cuz this requires a little bit more than um than the other games do. This is like pretty much gutted. But it has the stuff there. But it needs like all the wiring done to it.
We need to find a monitor cuz that one someone bastardized it.
Uh, okay. So, if you have a monitor,
a 19 in
15 in
15in monitor. We need one.
You know what? [snorts]
And also, like I said, Monte Carlo is now for sale
up here.
Three grand Canadian.
Make an offer.
Come get it. It's awesome.
Switched over.
Here's the three arcade games that are going to Matt.
Got the ricochet. See Kevin cleaned it up. And it looks pristine.
The computer baseball.
Really hoping to play this game. And it doesn't have a CRT, so
shouldn't be too crazy, but who knows? There's a lot of boards
in this thing, but I think they're all soundboards. And then the hesitation. Basically, Warlords meets Pong. So, we'll check on these games. What's in the way? Why do you always put stuff in the way, man?
I'm ricocheting off of uh random stuff. But we'll come back after our uh excursion to Arizona and uh see if these things are back up and running and check in on the progress after. So, we'll see you in a bit, a week. I'm back from Arizona. Um, so happy to be back in the snow, cold, shitty road conditions, and uh, freezing temperatures. Yeah, it's great. Wonderful. But, um, I do have some footage from Arizona that I'll have to post. Um, I do have a couple videos in the bank. I know this is like, what is this? It's uh middle of January and I haven't posted anything I don't think yet this year. It's kind of uh crazy, but I've been busy with holidays and then Arizona uh which was Starf Fighters pinball festival which was amazing really. Um the only thing that wasn't amazing was getting a little ill and I wasn't the only one. There was a plague that was going around and um there was four of us Ontario Ontarians, me, Shane Jackson, Jeff Tiolis, and Shauny Boy Russell. We were all afflicted and I know at least of one other. So, um that was the one thing that wasn't amazing, but nonetheless, I was in Arizona. I just got back, which today? Thursday. I was back uh for Monday. I've been dealing with um trying to get our apartment rented while fighting this cold. And now I'm heading back out of town tomorrow to Ottawa, which is like a six seven hour drive from London, Ontario for the uh provincial championships. And uh so all the provincials and state finals, top 24 or 16 in every state and province that are participating will be competing uh this Saturday, but we're heading up tomorrow, Friday, and get up there a bit early. There's a warm-up tournament. I got Gold Balls calling me right now. He's distracting me. Gold Balls, I'm sorry, buddy. I know you've been trying to get a hold of me. Been gone away. Now I'm back. I was not really up for hanging out. And now I'm heading out of town again. I'm sorry. I have a bit of time. So, I'm going to head over to the Grazley garage and uh wrap up that episode because Shiny Boy and I obviously popped in to uh Kevin's before we headed out to Arizona. So, I will have that clip that you have already just watched, and now I'm going to add this. So, it's sort of two parts combined into one to make for one episode of the Grazley garage. So, I'm heading over there now. It's been about a week and change since I've been there. So, we'll go see what Kevin's up to and uh what projects he's uh working on, brought in, moving out, and uh you know, type of progress he's made. He also has my shelf that he made for me because I have a lot of pinball trinkets and I don't have much space to put them anymore. So, what does one need in that case? A shelf to add more pinball trinkets because we all need more pinball trinkets. So, I'm actually excited about it. I'm going to display some cool stuff, but uh that'll have to wait till I get back from Ottawa. Anyway, uh I've been blathering on far too long. So, let's just get over to the Grazy Garage and see what's going on. All right, back at the Grazy Garage. Let's go snoop around. Knock knock.
Hey, I hear you. What is happening? I'm
not you. Oh, you know,
feeling better.
I am actually feeling better. Thank you. Yeah, I uh was a little worried about whether I'm going to feel good about going to Ottawa or not tomorrow, but I think I may be able to pull it off.
Yeah, I do want to represent and try and uh take down the the boys. And Adam Becker is not going to be at the provincials this year for the first time. So he's usually the number one seed and wins it every year. Um but uh yeah, there's a lot of sharpshooters like Cardell Carter Castleman. He's like uh he's probably the number one seed right now. So someone's got to take that kid down. See if it can be me this year.
Hopefully.
Uh so I see that you uh got some Alaska going on here.
Alaska. I finally got the back lock out.
Oh, nice. Right. Did you have to drill out that lock?
Uh, I drilled it out and then I couldn't get it drilled anymore, but then they had a nut on the outside and the inside, so I just turned the outside and end up turning the whole lock and being able to open it.
Oh, sweet. That's easier.
That lock in the garbage.
Oh, yeah. Okay. So, what does this actually look like? [snorts] Um, throw in a flash here. Okay, this uh it kind of looks pretty clean. Really? It
really does.
It's got a mix of like spider webs and cobwebs and rust, but
like the score reels themselves look pretty good, you know?
It could have look a lot worse. [laughter]
Yeah, definitely could have been a mouse nest in here or something. Ah, so it does have this weird panel board just like um dragon, [snorts] right?
Um
that was Yeah, just shoved up in the head.
Okay. Well, and then you got the neck here. Oh, yeah. Didn't you have to like
fabricate a neck or something?
We're going to have to build another one of those necks. So,
yeah, cuz we only had one. And this came from the wedge head, right?
We think so, but they both [snorts] lined up. So,
they did
kind of
kind of. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like these uh little dowels here didn't quite fit here if I recall correctly. Let's see. Yeah, that one's just a little bit I don't didn't remember which way this is supposed to go.
I'm assuming it goes the other way. More decorative on the front.
Oh, yeah. It would like put the head more up than facing it more down.
But whatever. A neck is a neck, right? And I'm sure uh
we can just make it
stay on there and not be removable,
right? Yeah.
Like a normal machine. [snorts]
Yeah. This thing's completely gutted, eh? Look at that.
Nothing left in there.
You just got to take that piece off and the flipper buttons. But stupid flipper. You have to take the e-clipip off. Take them out from both sides.
Oh yeah. I was trying to get the other one off.
Inter flip. You got to do things all differently.
Yeah. So, I think what I'm going to end up doing is making the neck, making the back piece, the head, and then I'll end up [snorts] painting the back of it head. This, this, the inside of the entire bottom cabinet will all match.
Nice. And then kind of clean it up so it doesn't dirty.
Yeah. So you said this piece back here.
Yeah. So that piece
and the top piece
and I'll end up having to just fix all this other stuff.
Yeah.
Like blend it in.
Oh yeah. It's a little crusty.
Oh yeah. So I'll fix the core and then like tape it off so it looks decent. But I'm going to have to like match the nicotine stain, not the
Yeah. yellow.
Now that the uh side rails are off, you can see the difference. Ouch. Oh, that's farther down than I thought. Um, yeah. So, that is the original [snorts] color. Probably might be a little bit off from day one, but it uh a little more nicotini now. Yeah. So, this will be the nicest Alaska in existence. since it was the only
maybe probably. Yeah, it's pretty much the only one we I think there's Was there photos of another one out there?
I think it was state one.
There was for sure couple sold states out there, but um yeah, not too many four player EM. So, you got uh your order from Titan.
That's some of the order. some of the order because I remember you said it was like $700 worth. So
800
800. Here's uh some more Alaska parts. [snorts] And then uh more Alaska parts.
Yeah, that's the stuff over there. Uh the transformer in the bottom that's from Harlem [snorts] though,
is it?
Yeah.
Or is it garbage?
Uh and then so what's all going on over here?
Uh
the old Harlem playfield.
Yeah, just Harlem. I sort of stacked everything up so I could paint getaway which is in the other shop.
Oh, I see.
Cuz
Oh, so that's Harlem all stripped down.
Yeah.
And then there's the head
and then Oh, yeah.
Just needed some room. [snorts]
So, this is getting ready for condo and everything. So,
right on. Well, Rob's got big plans for this with the 100 year anniversary thing happening with that. So, also we got some uh alternate uh apron cards he's going to use. A little customization there with the the logo and uh some fun uh possible spinner decals that he may or may not use. So, I'll have to pop in a photo of that. So, here's the custom apron cards that I'm going to be printing up. I've incorporated the hundth logo, uh removing the basketball there. Um, and then for the other side, we did that and my friend thought it was a nice touch, even though I'm not going to take the credit from Kevin in the Grizzly garage, but he put my name on there. So, we're going to leave that just the way it is. Funny thing is, I got those wristbands, so I'm probably going to come out sporting those. So, [clears throat] that's kind of what I have for the spinners. That one there in the bottom center is what's original. You know, that's kind of an updated version, but I wanted a little bit more of a realistic basketball on there. So, I'm gonna go with those two for the center, the two center spinners. So, I'm going to take those two on the faces. And then on the back side, I'm going to put the valley. And then for the left spinner, um, I'm going to just double up the two 100 or I came up with some of these as well. Not sure which one would be best suited. Um, but since there's three spinners, you know, like maybe I just they probably should just do those. Like it's to me it's a no-brainer, right? That's how many more shenanigans could you expect, right? Like that's so fitting. It's perfect. And this it looks like a highspeed.
This is highspeed.
This is Rob Edwards. Highspeed. Okay. And he's got another project for you that he uh wants you to do. What is that?
Uh two of them actually.
Yeah. Uh, so I got Bagman Cocktail.
Bag Oh, that's uh in the other uh
what's at the arcade right now? Yeah.
Bagman Cocktail. Okay.
And
I don't even know if that if I've ever heard of that.
Bagman's pretty neat.
Is it Is it playable right now?
No, it's came out of that crazy barn.
Yeah. Okay.
So, it needs a fresh enough boards been sent out, so it needs some love.
Yeah. Um, and then giant baller at some point.
That's uh going to be interesting.
That's what I mean. I need to get some of this stuff out of here so I can bring it in.
Yeah. How do you remember how long this baller is?
I want to say it was [snorts] 12 ft originally.
Okay.
And it's got two extension pieces, so it makes it like 18 ft or something like that.
So, yeah, that's coming to the Grazy garage soon. You have to go to Mitch's and pick it up. Mitch sold it to Rob Edwards. Rob Edwards wants you to restore it. This is a monstrosity of a ball bowler and uh you know it'll be a pain in the butt, but it would be kind of cool to go through the garage here and hopefully we can play it when it's all said and done.
Well, it's [snorts] supposed to make sure it works. So,
okay, good. All right. Well, we'll be happy to play test it for sure. You got uh anything on the rotisserie here? Oh, this is Harlem. [snorts]
Oh, okay.
So, it's done.
Oh, yeah.
Pretty well.
Take a peek at that.
Oh, yeah. We did uh get a little glimpse of this when we were here before Arizona. And uh yeah, I think it's about it was about finished when we saw it before, right?
Yeah. So, now cabinets uh stencils arrived yesterday for us.
Oh, here's the stencils. Right on. So that's Harlem [snorts] and $6 million there.
Oh, okay. Cool. And uh so you think my uh decals, art blades for Jurassic Park are in MIA right now? [snorts]
Well, they for sure. [laughter]
Yeah, they cuz everything else showed up, but they got sent on their own.
Oh, that's right. Yeah. Yeah. And
so they show that they're stuck somewhere. actually even uh uh he reached out to me and said, "Hey, did you get all that stuff?" I'm like, "Yeah, I got all the decals except
except."
And so,
all right. Well, we'll have to wait on the Jurassic Park Lost World art blades for a bit, but that's okay. I'm going to be gone for a bit.
I got your lock bar over there, though.
Oh, lock bar. Okay. And also, check this out. This is the uh shelf that I had you uh custom make for me. And uh this is going to be for all my pinball trinkets. Well, some of them. And I asked if you could make the uh shelves adjustable. And I love the design you came up with. Check that out.
Well, without how do you make it adjustable? I was sticking a bunch of screws and everything in there.
Right. Yeah. Yeah, I wasn't really sure how you were going to pull that off, but
So, [snorts] it sits on extra shelves.
Yeah, some extra shelves. So, you had uh enough of uh
of the wood that I brought to to make it work.
Yeah. So, you can just put these wherever you want.
Yeah, that's perfect. That's going to just go right to the left of the uh workbench. And uh that's [snorts] awesome. Thank you very much. Here is Jurassic Park Lost World freshly powdercoated lock bar. It was pretty rough, so that'll come home with me as well. Thank you very much. [snorts] Going to have to start tallying up
there.
Yeah, let's not put that there. Oh, and then here's the coil that uh we ended up not using, eh?
Yeah.
All right, that's awesome. Thank you very much. And I'm excited to start populating that. We need this, right?
Oh, yeah. Two dark green flipper rubbers for Lost World. Um, Bigfoot Bruce is sending me uh Thank you. What is he sending me? [snorts] Um, what do I get him to make? Oh, yeah. The drop target decal.
So, that's coming.
Oh, this is part of the other [snorts]
Oh, wow. You are stocked up.
Nice. Yeah, you're you're dwindling down to the bits and pieces last time. Okay, so yeah, let's go see uh what else is going on cuz you are done with the getaway.
That project is finished and that is [snorts] for uh Mr. Mike Boon. And let's have a look. There it is. The finished product. Oh, that is beautiful. [snorts] Just love the uh powder coating on that, too. But yeah, this is a full cabinet job. [snorts] I think when we were here last, this was just a um I think it was just like getting ready for paint, right? did a everything on it like it was
I don't even think it was bondoed but I don't remember for sure.
It was pretty rough. Really rough.
Oh yeah. I do recall going around it for the before seeing all the chunks and pieces missing. This is this is uh definitely uh million times better man. This is better than new. And uh Mike Boon. Oh, it's a display there. That's pretty sweet.
Oh, yeah. Is that pin 2 DMD?
Yeah.
Uh pin 2 DMD kind of does these little glitchy things from time to time. I never really seen it do that before, but you know, that's just kind of why color DMD is always better. Pin [snorts] 2 DMD is definitely the cheaper option. And um you know it's definitely better than orange dots of course, but sometimes it's just a little glitchy. I've found that with I think most of the times I've used it, but I've only used it a few times. So I'm sure there are some color files that are perfect, but yeah, man. This thing turned out amazing. This is How many of these have you done now? Are you losing track? I feel like it's two or three.
Except it's four.
Is it four? [snorts]
I I did one for you.
Yeah, that's right.
I did this one. I did mine and then I did mine again. So, I [snorts] guess
And why did you re redo yours again?
The decals were like all scraping off and they were like I got [snorts] them a long time ago and they weren't good. So, right from
Okay,
this is where I get all the stuff from now. So, I took them off and threw those away.
Um Oh, yeah. So, this has got the mirrored back glass. We went over all this in the last video or uh yeah, it was the last episode with a mirror gold balls playing this game. But, uh, it's got the, uh, oh, yeah, it's got the art blades on it now. They weren't on there before, right? Oh, and then you can really see all the This thing's packed with mods, right? Mountain mod, the stop light, Lamborghini, Donut Heaven. Did you uh do anything to the playfield or was pretty much just
I just cleaning the cleaners. Oh, did you? You know, not much.
Yeah. Well,
it's a lot of color LEDs in there.
Oh, yeah. Right. I remember that now. Yeah. It's got some color GI, you know. I called this the the Christmas edition. It's got some red, some greens, some more greens back there.
I like the poper caps actually.
Yeah, the pop bumper caps are pretty sweet. [snorts] The LED rings and the art blades are great. Love them. [clears throat] Oh, is it uh playable? Should we play a quick little game?
All right, why not? Let's have a go. I do like that mountain mode. That's pretty cool. Yeah, multiball. Oh, sweet. Free multiball. Just like a mystery award, I guess. Trying to get two balls in there. There we go. Check it out. Two balls in there. helicopter bonus throws. How do I uh There it is. That's what I want. Super jackpot. Boom. Oh no, I'm done. That might have been the one of the fastest super jackpots in Getaway history. Probably not. But that was pretty effing cool. I think we'll just leave it on that note. That was awesome.
82 million.
Not bad. Okay, cool. Oh, and what's going on with the uh the combat?
Uh it's kind of playable.
Is it?
Um waiting on top bumper parts to come.
Okay. Well, uh you said Cory was here working on this thing.
Yeah, a couple days actually. It was pretty messed up.
Oh yeah.
A lot of like switches and wires were soldered in the wrong spots. Like
it was like a real sort of like what the f is going on.
So was Cory like pulling his hair on this one?
Uh he was here for a long time. He figured it all out. It uh it [snorts] wasn't as you know easy as like oh just clean the switch and it's going to be good,
right? something Dutch may have not, you know, if he tried to do it himself, it might have taken him 10 times as long kind of thing as
he end up seeing switch stacks in the back and like literally wires were in the wrong spots like so it was impossible to figure that out. So, I heard from Brent. He is uh the guy gave my poker plus to
that Cory was fixing and it took him a couple sessions and apparently that is the worst piece of Cory has ever worked on in his life according to Cory, but he finally got it working. So, Poker Plus is now actually working after much uh hair pulling by Corey. But, uh well, if it's somewhat playable, let's give it a shot a shot here. Um, should we throw on some flipper rubbers
or just throw the ball around with our hand and kind of see what's working and what's not?
That's up to you.
Okay. Well,
oh, here's some rubbers. [snorts]
Let's throw on some rubbers and see.
I don't know if uh endro done yet.
Oh, okay. So,
if end of stroke switches aren't done, I won't hold up any uh any flippers and burn out any coils or anything. Nice. I don't know if we're going with red, but these are what's available. Yeah, this is cool. First potential game of combat in my [snorts] life so long as it works. So, here we go. Oh, and remember, there's a speaker somewhere here.
Yeah, it's not in there right now.
The speaker's not in there?
No. Uh Cory had to rebuild it, so he has it. He said it's done, but Okay.
It's not here yet.
So, we don't get the speaker sounds just yet.
Here we go. combat. Okay, flippers work. Let's get some rollover buttons up there.
Oh, so is this responsible for all of the sounds then?
Yeah.
Okay. Oh, there's a little post there. You can try and I say it doesn't it doesn't sound very exciting.
I was like soon as I went over a rollover room I'm like is it going to be a chime? Is it going to be electronic sound? It is neither.
It'll be electronic sound if you have a sound.
Yeah. You have a speaker that may Okay. Well,
it's a speaker/ soundboard allin one.
Is it? Yeah. Oh,
I was going to say how do you like rebuild a speaker? I mean that makes sense then. Rip that spin. Come on. What happens again?
Feel like I feel like the excitement factor on this is very little compared to get away.
It It'll just make the uh the after all that more exciting.
What happened? You broke it.
I fixed it. You just got to, you know, fy the playfield. Punch it. All right. Haven't really done anything yet. There is a reverse spin. Bounce pack. Drop target. Bombs away. I want either Yes, that's what I want. Okay, I got that shot. Now I need the rightmost shot. Good little sort of candy cane shot there. There's a game. What is it? Bow and arrow. I think that has a similar shot like that. Oh, damn target right there. That's deadly. It's tough to get in a bright shot. You can't really just nail it. You got to just bank it in there. I guess you you could be the sound effects. I
say this is so boring. [laughter]
Ball without sound just uh ain't as good. Oh, stand up targets there, too. All the drop targets. Boom. Special. Nailed it. Same player shoot again. Uh-oh. he has to come down.
Cory. Hey, look what's happening. Do you see this was going all the way up? So maybe I was going to say that switch could have been stuck, but that doesn't really make any sense. All right, three. Oh, this will be the last ball. I just want to hit that darn candy cane shot. Maybe get one good spinner rip. Spinner rip. Spinner. Oops. Here we go. Candy cane reverse spinner. This constitutes a spin, I guess. Show. Oh, yes. Got it. Oh, back in there. Oh, look. I got a 10x bonus score value here. 10x bonus. That seems pretty huge. So, my bonus is at 2,000. How do I build that? Drop target. Oh, I myself. All right, there it is. Some combat for you. Exciting. Cory, you get on that. You said the rebuild is done. You just got to get it over here
for the uh speaker.
All right. So, I'm just waiting for that pop number. So, at least then we'll be able to like dial it in and fix it.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, it's coming along for sure.
Well, considering it was doing nothing and it was in that tote down there when we started.
Yeah. Right. It's come a long way. And then uh you said you have a a bagman.
Oh, that's buried under
Oh, here it is.
So, what is Bagman? Let's go to the other side here.
Oh. That's a highspeed powder coating.
Oh, very nice.
Yeah. So, it's red but with like gold and silver flake and the clear coat on top.
Oh, really?
It's hard to
gold and silver in there.
Yeah.
Nice. Yeah, it is kind of hard to tell. I can kind of see silver flakes, but yeah, that's a cool uh option.
Yeah. Parts for it, so
Oh, yeah. It's Is it the same red as the uh this guy over here?
Yeah, red. Whatever. [snorts]
So, Bagman instructions. Move control to run Bagman, the prisoner, away from the guard and through the mines. Use the action button to pick up or drop sacks of gold, pickaxe. Uh-oh. Why'd you stop focusing? Wheelbarrow. Jump bagman into the wheelbarrow by grabbing a roof beam. This actually sounds pretty fun. It's
pretty neat.
Have you played it before?
Uh, I did play it on like a main sort of thing.
Okay.
I don't know if like they they didn't make very many. I don't think they made or I don't know if there's any known cocktails
really. This is pretty rare being a cocktail then. And who made it? Oh, what? It's got a Stern coin door.
Yeah.
Is it made by Stern?
Yeah.
Oh, no
You're right here.
Oh, how cool is that? Stern/seabberg. That's really cool.
I like how the one player, two player kind of look like washroom signs. And then the orange powder coating. What's that for?
Alaska.
Oh, that's Alaska, right? And this is actually a stern pinball coin door.
Oh, is it?
Oh, see has a carriage bolt where the start button should be.
Oh, yeah.
But I got from Paul Derer Stern arcade coin door.
Oh, no
So, I powder coat and put that in.
And then you'll just have that
as a spare.
As a spare. Sweet. Those aren't necessarily easy to come by. So, good to have. Yeah, it was hard to find one pair of stars for doing
Oh, yeah. Right. And lock bars, too, right?
Okay. Uh, is that about everything? I mean, you've got obviously the Medusa mousing around $6 million man in storage.
Um, remember when like the last video I did, I said something like, "Oh, here's some good footage for you uh scammers out there."
Well, they didn't disappoint. They totally like stole our footage of me and you wheeling this out of the house and uh used it for their scammy website and said, "Look what we picked up today. Me and John or something." And so the the scammers are relentless and have used all kinds of your photos, some of Cory's videos.
Oh, you said that about evil looking evil, too. And they literally took the evil photos and used those.
Yeah, they they've used stuff um photos from like games that were in your basement when you had games in there
five years ago.
Yeah. So these guys I guess they you know I guess it's some form of flattery that they're choosing a lot of your photos over all the ones on the internet. So I guess there's that. Anyway, I guess that's uh about all for the uh crazy garage update. Kevin's going to be uh dropping these arcade games off and the getaway on the weekend.
Uh and I'll be heading to the provincial championships.
Hopefully, if things go right, we'll have a Flash Gordon here next.
Oh, yeah. That's right. Be picking up a Flash Gordon project that uh might be another JC restore. So, hopefully.
Yeah. Look forward to that. That'll be fun.
