I heard that from somewhere. And then the more I think about it and I look at it, it makes sense cuz dude, Metallica is so far in like the animations are amazing, dude. So that would make sense. Metallica probably saw what Stern was doing and like up to Metall like up to them approaching Metallica to go, "Yo, we're going to do a remastered cuz they got James." We know that Stern contacted Metallica because they got James in the [ __ ] promo. So, I know, hey, this is James from Metallica. So, I know that they talked to St. They talked to Metallica because they they got James to film the [ __ ] uh promo. So, they probably looked at that looked at Stern's like animations up to that point and were like, "Yeah, [ __ ] you, dude. We're getting our own people to do our animations, dude. We'll we'll handle it." So, they had their own team do this is my theory. I don't know for sure the they had their own team do the animations for Metallica. That's why Metallica is so good. And now this is Stern on their own. This is this isn't Yeah, this is Stern on their left to their own devices. This isn't Metallica bringing in some professional [ __ ] graphic designer, whatever the [ __ ] they did. Cuz I mean, go look at the animations of Metallica. They're amazing. They're incredible. Like, dude, it's one of the only games I will literally hold the ball to look up at the animations because they're so good. Like, so something happened different there. That's not normal. Same with Venom. There's a lot of music in Venom that's really, really good. Like the like the outro theme in Venom. Um, Well, that's not Yeah, that's not uh the guys from Stern. That was uh Mark Tramani, the dude from Creed who worked on that game. Pretty sure 90% here. Of course, we're going live, so don't always quote me 100%. But I'm pretty sure that that was Tramani that did that. That's why that audio is so good. That wasn't Stern. And not to not a dig at Jerry Thompson, any of the audio people over there, but I mean, dude, Venom B Venom bangs. I mean, I don't care if you like the game or not, that game sounds great. It sound It just sounds good, dude. Even when you end the game, the match sequence that plays, I don't think I could find it off the top of my head right now. But, uh, it's so good, dude. So, going back to animations with Metallica, they I think that they had their own team come in. With Walking Dead, this is Stern. This is in-house Stern doing this. This is why you get [ __ ] it. They didn't just leave him to his own devices, you know, because there's to me there's things in there like the eight little lines in Star Wars corresponding that like now there has to be eight shots. That would make that would make sense to the theory that every shot is too tight because there's one too many shots. If you took one shot out of Star Wars, it would flow and play better. But they had to have eight shots because there's eight of those little stupid things at the front. You got to look at the playfield. I don't feel like bringing it up. I'm too lazy. But I think that's the reason why it it seems like it's too tight, dude. Cuz there's like one too many shots in Star Wars. Cuz they were like, "Yo, we got these eight lights." Cuz if you look at Star Wars, there's these eight inserts like that. the the blue oval looking ones, right? And they're supposed to correspond with each shot. So, if you come up with seven shots, dude, it's not going to work with the eight. There's a video I did where I talked about this. He's like back there, nine nine monitors [ __ ] running the whole thing. This dude is a genius, bro. Carl is amazing. Carl was the first dude because when I used to go to Indisk, I don't really go anymore because they took the bounties away, but when I used to go, Carl was the first person like after the second or third year, Carl would uh he'd look up at me from his his SpaceX unit. That's what I call it. You just have to see it. You have to see it. He's got like nine of these, dude. Like all like that on top of each other. The [ __ ] And he's making it all work at the same time. I don't know how, but he'd look up at me with his head. He'd be like, "You out there bounty hunting, bro?" [laughter] Cuz he knew he caught on. Carl caught on. He knew that I was out there. Cuz when the first time I would get there, they would have like 10 bounties all for each one was $100. For example, one would be like uh get uh upgrade your turtle to level four in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I remember one year that was one. Or Twister pinball was uh get to the final Twister uh award by spelling Twister four times. That one's really hard, but I pulled that one off, too. So, he would look at me, "You out there bounty hunting, bro?" [laughter] Like, he caught on. He knew what I was doing. Yeah, I'm out there, bro. He called me [ __ ] Carl. Carl was the first one to notice me doing that [ __ ] And um I would clean up. I get like two or three bounties. And now you got like $200 $300 in your pocket. You're the first one. You're one of the first people at Indis to get money. It was a really cool thing for a while. It was It was like, man, there's hundreds of people here and I got money. I'm one of the only ones sitting here with money. Look at me go. You know, it was awesome. So, what did they do? They went and let Carl design a game. Is that a good idea? You bet your [ __ ] ass it is, cuz he's an amazing pinball player. How many Like, when are you [ __ ] people going to learn? The only way you're going to get bangers is if you let these really good pinball people design your games, dude. Or people with passion. Like that's the you're the case with Bug because I've never really seen Bug play too much pinball. He plays a lot on his channel, but not in tournaments, but he's got the natural excitement and and and uh like curiosity. Like what happens if we put that there? Like I could tell he's like his mind is like that. And you need that. See, that's the problem with a lot of these old designers.
