Now who's responsi- I say who's responsible for this unwarranted attack on my person? I say, I say, I say, pay attention now, boy. This is, of course, Foghorn Leghorn presents the Pinball Junk Drawer. You all asked for it. I say, I say, you all asked for it now. You're gonna get it. Boy, oh boy, are you gonna get it. Go, I say, go away, boy, you bother me. And, let's see, yep, it's working in the blink of an eye. The only bi-weekly show coming to you live every three weeks. It's, of course, the Pinball Junk Shore. My name is Foghorn Leghorn. With me, as always, Craft Bruce Talley. Yes, we suck. But anyway, we'll try better. I think we've got a case of the holidays instead of the Mondays. We're getting put to the ringer over here. Yes, we are. Time is fleeting. Yes, we are. Anyway, it really bothers me when we're not on our every other week schedule. and we haven't. It really does bother him. Two weeks in a row. It's almost as bad as that time Hitler crashed the Hindenburg into the Titanic. Remember that time? But they could see us on the JBS show. Oh yeah. Very nice. Nice toss there. Right. We were very excited. Yes. So we were invited to be part of the JBS show. The Jamie Burschel pinball show. Yes. And we had a great time of course. We could have sat here and talked to him for hours. I think you're correct. It was a lot of fun. It was. I mean, it was neat. He has a really easy flow, you know, and a good show. So make sure you're checking him out, not just for our egos, because I don't really care, but for basically supporting a good show. And that is definitely his show. I think he has like a lot of different guests on, right? Yes. And he does the round table. Is it the round table with Retro Ralph? and I'm sorry, Kale. Yes. Kale from Electric Bat. Yep. Yep. And very cool coming to you from what, not Houston, Houston. Yes. Outside of Houston, I believe. Outside of Houston. Yes. Wowzers. Good times. It really was. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. We'll definitely do that again. We're not, we don't do interviews. I think, we started out, I had a whole bunch of interviews that I had done and then I realized, I don't know, that it's just, I don't think it's lazy. I really like talking to people But I feel like kind of all the big shows are swooping in and, you know, doing the Gomez things and doing the, you know, like. We're just a little show. And we're just kind of, eh, you know. I'm not going to bring any hard-hitting questions to the table anyway. I'm going to be like, hey, what about this time? You really screwed up. I don't care. Would you like someone at your work going, hey, you missed a comma. What happened there? Why didn't you put that comma in that email you just sent? Bro, you're a mess. I don't want that. And I don't think we should support that. Nah. so you know we're here for fun we are here for fun and for the fun of it yes so this week uh we're going to kind of do maybe like a year in review yes because this is the last show before uh the new year the hell happened it is the it is the last show before new year's eve at lumberjack johnny's yeah and this is now this is the second year in a row i'm going to compete in a tournament when I don't compete in tournaments. I think I'm kind of just going there because you want to and we like hanging out at Lumberjack Johnny's. Now it's Lumberjack Dave. And it is Atomic Nikki. There you go. Atomic Nikki. Wow. That sounds like a superpower. Yes. She does have superpowers. Yeah, she does. She has a superpower of making her dog look pretty punk. That's cool. I think if I tried that with our cats, I would be in the hospital for a long time. Yes. and nothing like screwing around with the levels while we're doing the show. That's just good stuff. I'll edit this out. No, you won't. You're right. Well, I can. Hold on. I'm going to. There. And just because Crafter was telling me that I stopped the show immediately and I took out all the long pauses and goofiness because, you know, the pinball world is very full of movers and shakers. They don't have time for long pauses like two seconds of time. Right. Ain't going to make up time for that. So, you know, do we have anything else? So you have, we have the numbers for best and worst of the lumberjacks. Yep. We'll do that after. We kind of figured we'd just kind of do like a general, what happened this year? Yeah. And I kind of printed out some of this stuff. Now, Jersey Jack, of course, you know, Harry Potter, multiple editions, massive sales, massive, a lot of love for that. And I'm hearing a lot more love in general about the machine. I know a lot of the poor men said that they really enjoyed it it was a really good shooter so I think I have to spend some more time on that at some point I had that one really good game at I want to say it was at the Andersons and at that one ladies flip I can tell that game has a lot more to show me I'm just not good enough yet you know what I mean because they just punch you in the gut Jersey Jack had Elton John and I really love Elton John I wouldn't, well I shouldn't say that, I would buy one but not at market value and like Harry Potter is one of those that's going to always be hanging around at some point it might be here, maybe not I mean I would imagine because that's like my dream theme but so Jersey Jack has that one Stern has released this year it's been Dungeons and Dragons that was like the beginning of the year and that one is, that's I think that game is not for me but awesome yes like and it's not I've played it a couple times I have no idea about Dungeons and Dragons yeah I'm not dissing it I just don't know anything about it and like when I play it I can tell it's really deep and it has a lot going on and it's really cool but I don't know what the hell I'm doing I'm just kind of like you know it'll give me choices on the screen I'm just like and I just click go into the elf village or something I don't know what the hell I'm doing but it's okay and then they also had Kong which we were there for and then they had Jaws 50th anniversary and then they had the Star Wars Swallow the Empire, which we were there for. So of the four Sterns released this year, what order would you put them in? Or would you say one was clearly better or worse? Now Jaws, a lot of people really, really love Jaws. That's a game I can tell is good, but I've never had a super awesome game. I've had some pretty good games on it. It's kind of like one of those I think if it was in the house, we'd play it a lot. Yeah. But I don't play it a lot on location. It's nice. Yeah. Kong is fun. Yes, it's very fun. I like Kong a lot, and Kong has some cool shots. I love that kickback. Yeah. That kickback shot. And I guess they've addressed the Star Wars, the Death Star problem by they have a new gate that's going to make it more accessible. Now, Lumberjacks has it that it's just virtual. so I guess you can make it it registers it so it kind of bypasses the problem I'm sure they'll get the bigger blah blah blah so is there a favorite you have in there? of all of them let's not rank them what's your favorite of all of them? of the stern ones? I would say Star Wars, Kong Star Wars and Kong Dungeons and Dragons I guess and then jaws jaws last i don't know yeah that's what i mean jaws for me is hit or miss i can play i can sometimes have a really good game and then sometimes not and i like jaws i like i like the movie jaws i like the property well i shouldn say that right jaws one and then jaws 3 there like a helicopter being pulled down And you like I don know about this Yeah Is this a Corman joint No. Go ahead. I'm not a huge, huge fan of the like once you launch the pinball and that like roundabout kind of thing. Oh, like where it's the cast or whatever. Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of tricky shots on those games. And I can tell, I mean, like, I don't want to say drain monster, but there's a lot of peril. You're constantly fighting that game a little bit more. So that's cool. You know, the biggest surprise for me is Barrels of Fun. We talked to Jamie about that on the JBS show. You know, first they had Dune, which I was like, this game's freaking cool. Yeah, I really like Dune. When I got some time on Dune, I was like, this game's awesome. Yeah, Lumberjack Johnny's has one. and this last time we were there I think I played like four games of it two of which were free but then out of the gate the second follow up is Winchester Mystery House which is incredible that game is wild everyone is raving about that game we'll see how it handles it when it's out and about I mean you're not going to see that one too much though what do they have 999 of them or something like that I'm thinking of the Of the ride in Disney, there's 999 ghosts. No, I'm not. So then Portal for Multimorphic, which we have not played yet, but I know that one has a lot of people talking good about that. Multimorphics, I think Lumberjacks has that too. I just haven't played it yet. There's probably a reason. And then there's Spooky has Evil Dead, of course, which love Evil Dead. Even for a wide body, it plays good. It's a fun game. Right. And then now they've announced Beetlejuice, but I mean, I haven't, you know, nobody has any time on that one yet. I don't think that, I thought I saw a chart somewhere of when they would be like the numbers of how many they would be producing each month. Right. And I think the top number is 100 a month. Yeah. Well, and Spooky's kind of neat. they do it pretty smartly where like the first it's a slow ramp up and that's I think that's also if there's something bad it's very fixable in the front end like if the first 25 evil deads came out and the shotgun wasn't working right they would fix it in line and then just and then retro fix the 20 that got out so it's like as they slowly ramp up they're catching up to the code they're kind of catching everything then they hit full stride and then you know then kind of produce out the whole run as they're like launching the next one so they got it they have it down really well that was really neat to see how many times somebody looks at it before it gets boxed yeah that yeah they they have addressed quality control yes they have that is priority one that I was kind of blown away when they were going through it. So we got Spooky and then we got Pinball Brothers with Predator. Now, we played that one. It was fun. I don't know if we'll ever see one again, but it was fun. I'm sure we'll see it somewhere. I shouldn't say that. All these shows we go to always have some of those really unique one-off things. And then Chicago, CGC, Chicago Gaming Company, has the Medieval Madness Merlin Edition. Oh. I don't remember that one. Did we play that one? We've played Medieval Madness. Yeah. I'm sure we haven't played that one. I do like CGC stuff. You know, I definitely enjoy it. You know, I like playing their different stuff. I think they have good quality. Is that Pulp Fiction? Yeah, Pulp Fiction. I love that one. I've said numerous times I'm going to own that one. And, of course, the Medieval Madness, or not even Medieval Madness, the Attack from Mars is kind of one of our favorites ever, you know. Yes. And then what else is there? Then there's the Merlin's Arcade. That was that Turner pinball. That was that one that was like a cross from Winchester Mystery House. I don't know. Like when I look at that list of notables or things that have been released, what a year. Yeah. I mean, honestly, what a year in pinball. Like as far as the stuff that's come out has been such heavy hitters. I don't even know when they would come off and do another JJP release. Right. Why would they? I mean, they're still... Yeah, they're still just cranking. The foreseeable future is just going to be Harry Potter mania. There's not going to be any problem getting all of those, that's for sure. But why would there be? That's like the same as saying, well, I know Godzilla is kind of storming towards being the most produced game ever. Good. It should be. From my perspective, I love that game. You love that franchise, too. Oh, yeah, of course. I have Godzillas everywhere. Yes, he does. Yeah, you know, I know that they just did an update to the, I see the, what's it called? Insider Connect. Insider Connected. And I think they're gearing up for Pokemon. Oh. So, because it's like, it's going to handle, you're going to have to catch them all. If this is going to be, I think people are underestimating this title. when I watched the Nintendo, there was like this five-part documentary about Nintendo, like the history of Nintendo. They said Pokemon is like, at that point, whenever they made that documentary, Pokemon is the biggest IP in gaming. Now, think of that. Wow. Now, what's that going to do for pinball? Oh, my goodness. Now, you think, well, there's not going to be that much of a crossover. My ass. Yeah, there is. Because you're going to have to go and find one everywhere you go. Yeah, it's going to have... What if they do special releases? Right. What if Lumberjack Johnny's is with Stern and they say, well, you're going to have a special one this week and it's only your place. Yeah. Buckle up, Wilson. There's going to be... You know what I mean? Because that's a big deal and people will travel for this. People travel for the phone game. Yeah. It might be huge. I think it's going to be huge, but you never know how exactly. Has it been confirmed yet? Yes. No, not yet. And do we know for sure that Stern is getting it? Yes. Oh, okay. Yeah. I think Gomez was on a, he did an interview. I haven't listened to it yet, so I don't want to misquote. I know Kerry Hardy did an interview with Gomez, and someone had asked, is it going to be one of these two? And he said, I can confirm it was one of the two, and it was like Pokemon and, I don't know, Hamburger the movie. It was kind of like, well, I think it's probably going to be that second one. You know, so like, but Hot Dog the movie. That's going to be Hot Dog. I remember that from the 80s. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Unfortunately, I do remember. Boob comedy. That's going to be hot this year. Going to do nothing but boob comedies from the 80s. And that will be the end of Stern. Weird. No, let's not do that, folks. So, I don't know. Other than that, I'm looking forward to what next year brings. I know we already have our hotel for Expo. We do. I guess we're doing that. Yep. So one of these years, we've got to get down to... Free play Florida. Free play Florida. One of these years, we've got to get to Texas. Yes. That's a huge one. I don know how fun that one is That might be one of those real serious ones where if you not a competition player it kind of I have heard that it is more drinky than Huh. Than... Expo? Yeah. Wow. So... That's weird. Yeah. Although, I say that, but the last two Expos, I haven't even drank that much. I have. This one, I haven't drank anything. There are some bad influences in our tribe, so... The only thing I had this last year was that one shot of Malort. That's all I drank, though. That was one shot too many. I kid. I don't mind Malort. You do love Malort. I wouldn't. Love is a weird word to use there. I can drink it. It doesn't bother me. Malort doesn't make you go. I don't throw it into my mouth when I drink Malort. I'll put it that way. I don't love it. I love rum. Rum I love. Yes, you do love rum. But, you know. Oh, that toffee rum. me and Captain Jack Sparrow are all about the rum not so much the Malort but we can drink it shout out Dan the man for hooking everyone up with some Malort to remember XOI alright we got anything else you know there's going to be a short show I did not I made sure I didn't do that mod to the pinball to the Beatles machine so it's still sitting in the box over there I wasted five days of vacation doing nothing and didn't get to it. You got a nap in. I got some naps in. So you're going to do the numbers then we're going to do everyone's favorite segments. I have something first. Oh my goodness. I have a surprise. Oh no. Since it's the last show of the year. Okay. She's going to hit me in the head with a baseball bat, everyone. That's going to be the surprise. An on-air murder. Oh boy. What do we got here? Grab for yourself. Well, you'll see in a minute. You've got to talk while I'm doing this. It's a tube. Yeah. So I would just like to give a shout-out to our friend at Stern, Zach. Zach at Stern? Yep. Did he make a translate for that game with the flippers? No, no. Jack Dangerous. A strangely addictive game? No. Oh, my. It's okay, Destructo. Wow. Oh, my goodness. Is this real? It's real. Wow. Translight, a fall of the Empire from Star Wars. Oh, my God. And this is Jack Danger? No. Oh. Zack. Zack. Oh, Zach Sharpe. Oh, my God. I'm so dumb. You said it twice, and my brain converted to Zack. I'm sorry, Zack. At least I should edit it out, but I'm too dumb to do that. Wow. He really sent that? Yep. Oh, he's the best ever. That is so cool. Zach Sharp. Oh, man. Yep. That is so great. I wish I knew which one this was. It's the one with... It's the... The... It's... Pro? It's the Pro. Pro? Yep. Doesn't matter. It's so cool. Yeah. Has Darth Vader squaring off with Luke. Oh, my God. So did you talk to him? Did he write you about this? So what had happened was shortly after we came back from Stern for the release, I reached out to him and I was like, hey, Foghorn always gets me cool gifts. Oh, wow. I would really love to be able to get a... Something cool. I tried to get... I wanted to buy a back glass. Let's... But you can't buy those. No, that's all this is. It's translates. Yes. That's all they are now. So... Wow. Yeah, so... Well, this is proof positive that I have the best wife ever. And also, the Sharp family is now the top greatest family in pinball. because Roger might have autographed my book for Christmas and Zach, blamtown. Awesome Star Wars Translight. I'm freaking out kind of. I'm glad. Oh, my God. I'm glad I didn't open it because it came with a, they just threw it in the snow bank as they delivered the mail. They were just like, yeah, whatever. Just hucked it along the side of some soap we ordered. Oh, wow. Thank you so much. this really made my day I should put it by my huge Darth Vader over here he's standing over forest choking I was going to wait until Christmas but then I was like it's been a rough week this is our last show before the end of the year my goodness I'm kind of isn't that the word they say well thank you thank you Stern thank you Zach I'm kind of blown away And thank you, Craft for Sally. Of course. Now, while I dry the tears and look lovingly upon my most awesome Star Wars trans life, I've changed. Star Wars is obviously the coolest release they ever had this year. I'm going to re-up that. Okay. All right. Hit us with them Lumberjack Johnny's numbers. All right. So Lumberjack Johnny's in Appleton. Number one, Evil Dead. Yeah. And Dave said by a long shot. Yeah, that's a draw. Yeah. That's a really cool game. It's hard. I had a couple bad games in a row on that and walked away. I rage quit that game. But I'll come back. It's okay. I know you will. You can't not go near Ash. Yeah, no kidding. And then next is King Kong. Right. And Bond 60th. Nice. Which I love that game. And that's probably like half of those were mine. You know, and that was one that got beat up. because the code, the code, the code, and then the code came around and everyone's like, this game's awesome. I love that game. Yeah. I would really like to have one of those one day. We might be able to swing a pro at some point. I know. I know. All right. So third from the bottom is P3 Portal. Okay. He said that it's having a lot of issues. That'll probably square him up. I'm sure they'll get him figured out. Yeah. And then second from the bottom is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. and then last is Led Zeppelin that all tracks these aren't terrible games they've been around for a while not Portal but the other two have been around for a while well Portal is because of the issues on it do you think Dave even includes the Hulk? I don't know if he includes he probably only does modern games there's like the Super Mario and then there's the Hulk I play the Hulk every time at least twice I'll have to ask him Okay. And do you have other numbers? I do. Okay. So then we have the Lumberjack Johnnies in Green Bay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he did send a reminder that they only have eight games at that location. Gotcha. So that's why it's like all over the place all the time. So first by a long shot is Harry Potter. Yeah. And then Jaws. Yeah. And then Elvira. Yeah, perfect. Right? Of course. Those are all heavy hitters. They are. And then third from the bottom is Godzilla. Wow. Yeah. And then Star Wars, Fall of the Empire. Wow. Yeah. Okay. And last is John Wick. Huh. Well, those are all... I mean, all the games up there are solid. Yeah. So it not like they bad games That wild Now we finally put some time in on the Diggers Yes And they harder to control than you imagine They so much fun though They are so much fun. 30 minutes, I don't think, was enough. 30 minutes. It's like you just sit there and you just get drunk running over sand. You're like, I don't know, you could probably do that for hours. New Year's Eve. Here we come. And I got some time on those Atari games. And those are their new Atari releases, but of reimagining of the old games. So they have Missile Command and they had Asteroids. Yes. And they're cool. Yeah, they were. You can, like, log in and track your – there's, like, global leaderboards, which I have no reason to do that. No. I immediately was like, oh, that's right. These games are really hard. I went back to how many – like, I flashed back as I was playing to how many hundreds of dollars worth of quarters I put in both those machines and progressed nary an iota better at the end of the 100 quarters or at the beginning of the same skill level. Bad. Right. Those games will kick you in the head. But very fun. I'll play those every now and then because that's the Missile Command. Wow. I'm better than I was that first time I played. So I'll need to avenge my city's deaths. But Dave did say that now is corporate event time. Right. So he's looking forward to seeing how the numbers at the locations change. Yeah. Because there's been a couple times in the past couple weeks that they've been closed for a private event. Why not? Yeah. I don't know if I would hand my coworkers throwing axes. I don't trust them. But that's okay. All right. I think that's it. We good? Time for everyone's favorite segment? Yes. All right. Craft Brew Sally. Gonna have to put your journal down. Craft Brew Sally, child. You've been to all the breweries around. You've been running all over the town. Tell me what to drink until I fall on the ground Yeah That's right, people. And we're back. So before we start the Crap Bruce Alley thing, we all have to do a shout out to Glenn. Okay. Because we all talked about Glenn on the JBS show. Oh, yeah, yeah. And how everyone loves Glenn. Yeah. So thank you for everything you do for all of us, Glenn. For sure. He's always there. He's always doing some crazy stuff. I don't think either of us replied to his wacky email. I know. I know. I feel bad about it. Glenn, we're going to respond. We promise. It's only been a couple weeks. I know. Give us time, man. So what do you got for us this week? So this was an exciting week. So we went to Lumberjack Johnny's on the weekend, and Dave was there. And Dave talked to Wilson, and I get to have a Craft Brew Sally pick at Lumberjack Johnny's. Wowzers. I'm so excited. Yeah. So you have to make me a little sign. I will. That says Craft Brew Sally pick, and then he kind of put me on the spot, so I had to pick right away. I was not prepared. You might know a graphics guy. I'm pretty sure we can get that handled. Well, no, I wasn't prepared to pick a beer on the spot. I'm talking about the little sign I have to make. I'm like, you know a guy.
