News Another Look at Jack Danger's New Game; Predator & Stern Factory Shots; More Alice Topper Delays; A Stern Rumor k knapparcade January 16, 2026 Once again I come away from this week completely surprised by all of the awesome pinball stuff that we had to talk about. This is becoming a trend lol. So what do we have to talk about today? Well, first up we have a new look at the design for Jack Danger's next game. As a refresher for those of you who missed my earlier articles on the subject, he is walking the community through the process of designing a pinball machine. It remains to be seen whether Stern will mass produce this game, but one way or another it's going to be awesome to follow. Jack recently shared a new picture of the game's layout along with the following message: "Thanks for sharing! IF the theme is tank girl ... The tank shooting the ball is something I'm battling. I like the idea, but it makes the tank look stupid. I think I like the idea of locking a ball in the "drivers seat" instead as a gameplay rule/multiplier, plus the tank turret will rotate, look like it's recoiling, whole thing will rumble etc I am definitely getting big Big Guns vibes from the layout (1987 Williams), especially if it has a cannon that fires the ball. That may be because I used to own a Big Guns years ago lol. While we are on the subject of Stern Pinball, today is Factory Friday - our weekly look behind the curtain at its factory. This week, they showed off Star Wars Home Edition on the production line. Your browser doesn't support HTML5 video. Download the video instead. Speaking of factory pictures, I also have pictures of Pinball Brothers' current game Predator on the assembly line at the Euro Pinball Corp. factory. I need to get my hands on a Predator one of these days. Rob and I do have a pinball Road Trip (TM) lined up at the end of this month to some banging locations. Maybe there. The big news this week was the sale of American Pinball to a new owner. In case any of you missed it, make sure to check out my article on the subject: The Story of the New American Pinball . Speaking of AP, they're official again...they have officially renewed the Trademark for "American Pinball" after the previous ownership had let it lapse. Dutch Pinball recently provided an update on the much-delayed toppers that some buyers of it's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland are missing. The Company stated that its original topper supplier has "let us down again." As a result of uncertainty about the original supplier. Dutch Pinball has signed a contract with a new vendor to produce its Cheshire Cat topper. That vendor is currently creating an initial sample. If this prototype of the product is approved they will begin large-scale production of it starting in mid-February. The new supplier is considerably larger than the initial one, so once production begins it should go faster. * Last up, we have a quick rumor about Stern Pinball. On a recent episode of the JBS Show Podcast, Roundtable member Cale Hernandez of the Electric Bat Arcade in Tempe, Arizona stated that he heard that Brian Eddy's next game for Stern will be an unlicensed title. Now keep in mind that "unlicensed" does not necessarily mean unknown. Stern's game King Kong Myth of Terror Island was technically unlicensed. No word yet on what the exact theme is, but based on what I have heard coming we will likely see at least 3 and maybe 4 more pins before Eddy's next so we have time. Cale said that he would love to see a game based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. The original horror novel was published all the way back in 1897, so it is in the public domain and would qualify as unlicensed as long as it doesn't involve the 1992 film. This is not to say that Dracula is coming from Stern, it was more of an example that Cale used that would be cool.
