we traveled to Wisconsin to meet a pinball loving family whose pinball podcast helped launch them into one of the coolest manufacturers of custom pinball machines today in their hometown of Benton they have opened a second location and continued to grow but make sure to keep their small town roots and style come with us to Benton Wisconsin and meet Spooky Pinball. Spooky Pinball is a family-owned business started in 2013 by my dad Charlie Emery. We make manufacture design and sell thousands of fully licensed custom pinball machines. What makes us so unique is that we are willing to try things that many of our competitors are not willing to try. Something our customers say often is "oh that's something like Spooky would do, that's something unique that they would try." What's great about our family dynamic here at Spooky Pinball is that we all have the same goal, we all have the same ideas in mind, but we all have different capabilities that are unique to each of us so that we can all get there in the best way possible. We have an incredibly talented team that puts all these things together from licensing to physical design to hardware to software. It takes a whole team of us to put it together and we all kind of have our role. We've really perfected our system of what we're doing and we bring some really cool themes to life. I think what really made our company different when we entered the industry was we really blazed the path for just transparency and community and we talk to everyone. We're out there, people know us personally from our distributors to our customers. They meet us at the shows. You know, they can call us up anytime and get ahold of us. So I think we're very in touch with what the industry wants and we really try to bring people the things that they want to see. So from shows to social media to videos we've always just been sharing the whole journey from what we were to where we are today and it's been a huge transition and I think people have been able to really follow along with that journey and see us grow to the company that we are. The Benton Business Park starts in the Benton business incubator where new businesses with low levels of income can get off the ground. We graduated from there in three years, went to a building across the street, outgrew that, built a warehouse, outgrew that, bought the one across the street, added on and now we have a new production facility right across the street here in the industrial park. Spooky Pinball to me has been a great company. I came in looking for a job and end up with a career. It's been a great company to work for—small company, great growth, and top of the company believe in promoting within. It's a great company to work for. What makes Spooky Pinball the world's greatest is our intense care for what our customers want. We give them the best theme, on the best layout with the best speech clips, mechanisms, all for the best price possible in the entire industry.
