waking up from my slumber oh man it's early in the morning waking up from a slight podcast hiatus i slept like doo-doo yeah i did too actually i'm all like achy so i guess this is the intro This is the intro for season two. Episode one. Yeah, after a bit of a hiatus. Yeah, yeah. So I'm Matt. I'm Don. We're the Bash Pinball Podcast. Bash Pinball Podcast. Show. Show. We're getting our new season started with a bang. A banger. We've been doing pre-production for months Then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere We get an email From Zach Sharp At Stern Pinball He was pretty much like, hey guys, we love your show You're our favorite podcast I'm just kidding It was a copy and paste invitation Right To the new game The new launch And as I like to say, when pinball calls you answer so who don't i reference by the way if so yeah like two weeks notice we're like shoot that's when we're starting season two and we got invited to this you know if this was like uh we're we're uh inviting you to the latest my little pony home edition right probably wouldn't have gone maybe speak for yourself maybe speak for yourself but in this case it's freaking star wars and it coincided with when we were starting our podcast anyways. We were like, you know what? Let's switch things up. This is going to be episode one. Episode one. Not to be confused with episode one. The Phantom Menace. We're talking about Star Wars Fall of the Empire. Which we finally got the name right. If you've never heard our show before, go back. Season one. Check it out. Check it out. Honestly, if you have the time, start at episode one. I mean, yeah, that gives you the full backstory, the context. You know, our episodes are pretty short. It doesn't take that long to get through it and you're going to enjoy it. Yeah, I think that's a good time. We have a couple of inside jokes that I think hopefully pay off. Some stuff from season one will be paying off in season two in different ways. You don't have to, but it's the way I would do it. It's the way you should do it. So if you haven't listened to this show before, we make, we try to make a fun, well-produced pinball show that's for everybody. Yeah. New people, old people. Young people, ugly people, pretty people. What rhymes with old? Bold? Bold people. New people, young people, ugly people, and bold people. All the peoples. Except for bad people. If you're bad, don't, don't even just. I mean, if you're bad in the good way, then. Yeah. terrorists murderers need not apply agreed but yeah everybody else we try to make a fun show like priority number one having fun there you go yeah i mean that's what pinball is about right just having fun like yeah yeah sure we'll talk about some of the technical stuff we'll talk to some important people we'll talk a little bit about scores but really it's about capturing the spirit of pinball whether you are new to the hobby or if you've been around for a while No judgment zone here. I'm wrong all the time. I'm kind of ignorant sometimes. And we mean don't judge us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But we also won't judge you. We're a couple of audio engineer guys. We like to make nice sounding things that are cool to listen to. Think Radiolab. Not Joe Rogan. Yeah, right, right. Which, by the way, the Fear Factor stuff did not age well. Don't look at it. Actually, watch the Chappelle Show Fear Factory. Cool, cool. With Tyrone Biggins. So yeah, that's who we are. Join us. Join us. I got Vader vibes. Maybe it's just because Star Wars is on my mind. It's good. Actually, I think he says, join me. It's good. No! It's not possible! I don't remember that, dude. I haven't seen those in so long. That's Vader telling Luke he's his father. It's not possible. Is that how he reacts? Yeah, he's like a whiny little bitch. Without the arm, right? At that point, he's already got... Like, the hand's gone. The hand, yes. Yeah, sorry. Dude, I haven't seen those movies in so long. The arm is still fully attached. I've only seen... Hands free. The original... Man, listen. This is a cultural blind spot for me. My parents didn't grow up watching this stuff. When was the last time you actually watched Star Wars? The original ones? Yeah. Dude, it's been like at least 10 years. That's crazy. I know. I try to watch those movies. I mean, I don't try to, but I usually end up watching those movies every four or five years. You know what, dude? At least. Maybe I'll watch it this weekend. You should. I think I will. Yeah. I think I will because I'm way overdue, man. Long overdue. It'll probably increase your hypedness for the game we're talking about. Right. The good thing about this is I'm kind of a diehard Star Wars fan. I mean, I don't nerd out on stuff that extensively other than pinball, but Star Wars is pretty high on my list. During the Stern event, I was wearing C-3PO socks, so just to put it in perspective. That's funny, man. But see, this is a good example of how this is like a no-judgment zone. You didn't judge me for not really knowing that it was the hand, not the arm. I mean, I did. I just kept it subtle. I didn't feel judged. Okay, good. And I think that's one of our hallmarks. Not judging without making people feel judged. Right. Secretly judging. That's right. So coinciding with the release of this episode, there's going to be a video on our YouTubes. The Tubes. This season, we're going to be doing more video stuff. People can find us on YouTube. Push the thumbs up. Do the stuff that everyone else told you to do in their videos. Do it for us. Yes. That's a better way to say it because I hate saying it so much. I know. Oh, and also, we're going to be releasing a pretty awesome, like pretty comprehensive factory tour. Yeah. According to Kyle, it was the best factory tour he'd ever given in his life. I may be slightly exaggerating that, but... Quote, unquote, cospitary. Stern. Of Stern Pinball. We didn't just get a regular factory tour. We got the extra stuff. We got the extras. What you're about to hear is a recording we did at the Stern Star Wars Media Day event. Basically, they invite a bunch of media people, content creators, to come check out the new game, hang out, take pictures, etc., etc., etc. Sign NDAs. Keep secrets. So, yeah, it was kind of the perfect opportunity to basically hang out and talk to some of our friends slash other pinball media people. Those are our only friends. Basically. I realized that that's true when I saw Ian because I hadn't seen him in a long time and I gave him this hug and I was like I don't have any friends Ian is my friend Pinball people are cool but yeah we've got some special guests for this banger of an episode first up Colin from Kineticist right slash This Week in Pinball we had Shane Told and Ian Jacoby from The Nudging cast aka nudge magazines podcast yep yep and then we've got erica from erica's pinball journey and dirty pool slash jeff we had a four microphone set up in the stern arcade called replay they've got a little brick walled room with a bar cool bar all of the twippy awards everywhere yep and like a little lounge area. The bar is made out of pinball playfields. Pretty cool place to hang out. So we set up and just started doing our thing in there. We got the ambience of the arcade. You will hear the arcade. Unlike most of our episodes, there is some background noise of the random people coming in and out, the games playing in the background. Maybe you'll hear C-3PO's call-outs. It's real. We got all these other folks impressions of star wars and we're sharing those with you today in real time everybody had played the game like maybe 10 times at this point we didn't really have a chance to be snobby about it yet right it was just like real off the cuff here's how we're feeling in the moment right we talked about spike 3 a little bit we talked about how it compares to the first stern star wars the Steve Ritchie if you don't count the data east yeah we had all different levels of star wars fandom Right, right. So yeah, I'm excited to hear it. I'm super stoked that we were able to capture that moment and hang out with those people. And I'm excited to share it with you guys. This is going to be a two-parter because we recorded a whole bunch of stuff and it was all good. Anything over an hour for a podcast feels icky to me. Let's put it out in two. Agreed. Let's go! Mr. Colin. Yes. Hello. Where are we? We are at Stern Pinball's headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. So we're at the Stern September 10th Star Wars. Top secret. Well, okay, yeah, I blanked on the title of the game. I know. Fall of the Empire. Return of the Rise of the... It's its own thing. So wait, let's look at it again. It's the Fall of the Empire. I should have just looked. Literally right above us. Fall of the Empire. Yeah, Fall of the Empire. Colin has joined us. Colin from Kineticist. We're going to have a little chat about Star Wars and our impressions of Fall of the Empire. Yeah, and other stuff. And other stuff. Because by the way, I was going to say real quick, Colin, I know this is off topic, but I listened to your Nudgecast episode about AI art. Yeah. Great work. Thank you. Great work. Thank you. It was fun. The research and everything was awesome, man. I really enjoy listening to that. So thanks for hanging out with us. Yeah, Ian and Shane are great people. It was a lot of fun to be on that podcast with them. Cool. Awesome. So it sounds like I need to listen to that. Yeah, it's a great episode. I've been on a podcast blackout while we've been working on Orange for like three months straight. I know. Yeah, so can you tell me what you guys have been up to? I mean, it's just mundane. Nothing. Just kidding. Pre-production. basically the deal is like with season one we banked like the first two episodes and then every episode after that was just like week to week yeah we were figuring it out dude it was like we were like flying by what's the expression the seat of our pain of our fans seem sweet seat don't don't try to understand i don't understand idioms you just say it it just sounds good yeah yeah okay well you get it yeah we got caught up in the loop and me personally i got a little tired I got a little burned out, but I think we came up with a solution. We came up with a plan. Yeah. Segments. Segments. That's the answer. Do you have a focus for this season? Broadly speaking, season two will have somewhat of a focus on starting an arcade. Nice. And routing pinball machines. Okay. That's kind of the overarching story of season two. Now I just want to ask you a bunch of questions about that, but I will wait to hear it on the podcast. Well, yeah, you'll see. We'll see. We'll see. It's a story in progress, too. Yeah, it's literally developing right now. It is like an ongoing, actual, real timeline that's our lives and what we're doing, which is pretty neat. Yeah, but we're bringing in other people. We're trying to get a focus on what it's really like to start an arcade, start a pinball route, and talk to people who are in the middle. Yeah, there's definitely a bit of a mystery to it. It's knowledge that is not as accessible as it could be in a lot of ways. So it sounds interesting. I always like to talk to people that have just done something or they're in the middle of it. Because two years later, you forget all that stuff. And I think it's also part of natural pinball progression. You find it, you get into it, you get a game, you get another game if you can afford it. And then you meet people that have games and you're like, can we just put our games together? Wait, wait, this is an arcade. right now how can we make some money yeah it's kind of how it happens like i want to get more games i don't want to sell the games i own so yeah which classic problem kind of happened to us you know and that's why this is part of that story arc but anyways that's enough that's enough okay story and foreshadowing that's cool um all right yeah i'm on board so yeah fall of the empire fall of the empire the first star wars pinball machine since the well okay if you don't count the homepins or mando or mando all right colin's got to keep me honest on this stuff the first it's the first game based on the original trilogy since 2017 yeah nice first cornerstone right that was the Steve Ritchie 2017 yep Steve Ritchie so spike 3 is now being introduced with um fall of the empire I know. What the hell? Just to make sure we got it right. So Colin, did you pick up kind of like what Fall of the Empire is and how it fits into the Star Wars mythology and chronology and stuff like that? Yeah. So I'm not like a super encyclopedic Star Wars nerd, but I like pop culture. I keep up with it. Star Wars Fall of the Empire is essentially the key battle moments from episodes five and six of the original trilogy right which is exactly what the title describes it's the downfall of the galactic empire and it's got the endor battle defeating the second death star and a few key moments like that the battle of the half right at the beginning of empire so it spans two movies right and i guess i thought just from the title that it might just be sort of like Return of the Jedi because that's technically where the Empire falls. Right. But this is multiple, like you said, key battles and things that are put together into one. I guess that makes it more exciting. It makes it more exciting, yeah. I was convinced, I'll tell you, and I wrote about it a lot leading into this, that we would see five and six and just like a little bit of new material between six and seven, for example, because they went through the trouble of giving it its own title and branding it separately from just like mainline Star Wars. That's not the case. Yeah, and it sounds like they pushed to get their own original title for this game. Yep. Because, well, they just didn't want to call it Star Wars again because they already have a Star Wars mobile machine and that's confusing. Yeah, and I think it's smart, too, because this game is, in a lot of ways, very different. It is. So it makes it easier. I mean, obviously, we can't remember the name of it here right now. But I think tomorrow we will, right? Yeah. I'm looking at it again. Fall of the Empire. No, I think it's a good name. It's a great empire. It could fit in with... It's a great name. anything. It's not like some of the prequel movies people are like rolling their eyes Revenge of the Sith. It feels like a classic Star Wars story It could be in that world It could have been its own sequel title right Yeah If they did another film So it feels very authentic and kind of of that world I guess Yeah, I think it does. I think it fits really well. Have you had a chance to play it a lot yet? I probably have maybe half a dozen plays or so across the LE Premium and Pro. Cool. Nice. Are you prepared to formulate any kind of opinion or first impression? Yeah, my gut. So it's hard. I usually need time to sort of marinate on my thoughts with the game. And sort of like, what feeling did this game leave me with? What am I excited about 6, 12, or 24 hours later? What didn't I like after thinking about it? My gut reaction is typically, this is fun. It's pinball. all pinball is sort of fun right and i i think that even coming into this i don't know if i was super excited to see another original trilogy star wars pinball machine right you have a million of them right and i'm kind of tired of that storyline personally just in pop culture it's like you know i grew up with it and yeah i'm bored but it's almost fully a nostalgia play yeah it is but I think that, and I own a premium version of the Richie game at home, so I have a lot of experience with that. I think they've done enough here to differentiate it from the Richie version to sort of make it an interesting product on its own and something that will stand on its own. I think it'll wind up being the definitive version of an OG trilogy Star Wars game for people who are really into that. But yeah, it's still a Star Wars game. I had fun shooting it. I think this is maybe Borg's most interesting original layout in a little while. Personally, it doesn't feel like a Borg game in the same way that a Metallica or an Aerosmith or a Guardians of the Galaxy does. It does feel Borg-ish, but it feels like a little more forgiving than a typical Borg game to me. It's definitely not Turtles. You think about Tron or Turtles or Walking Dead. I know. Those are all tough. Brutal. I think that those are also popular games with the hardcore players because they're tough and you get a little bit more out of it if you have the skills to master it. Sometimes you want that challenge. Yeah. I'm excited. I personally kind of want to hop on as much as we can. Right. Colin, since you are very familiar with the Steve Ritchie one, are there any kind of obvious differences or things that you prefer in one versus the other or anything that you can speak to today? I do think it is a little bit of a less punishing game. So it is a little bit more forgiving probably for new players. It seems like they got more assets, so it feels like it's better integrated than the Ritchie Star Wars where that felt like they were given a package of assets they had to work around that was kind of limited. This feels a little more comprehensive. This feels like it has everything. The art is amazing, by the way. The art's very good. Yeah, I love the backbox art. It reminds me of the old VHS posters in the films. Yeah, yeah, yeah. which is great like that yeah and it's all original too which surprised me like yeah it's all completely yeah original it doesn't have that sort of bad photoshop vibe no right like the other one had at all which is awesome so shots wise it's got a lot of shots it's got a lot of shots like playfield and stuff it doesn't have anything like the hyperspeed loop that they had on that was cool right like there's no i don't i don't know if there's a wow neck there like you've got the You've got the Death Star, which is fun. Death Star eats the ball. Death Star, I mean. Yeah, what else could you ask for? I don't think I've had the, was it AT-ST? That's the AT-AT. That's the AT-AT. I haven't had that fall down yet. So I don't know how noticeable it is. Right. I think George was playing it earlier, and he knocked it down a few times, but never actually saw it come down. Oh, man, I totally forgot about that thing. Yeah, I know. Me too. It doesn't do it on the Pro. Yeah, yeah, that's all we've been playing for a while. Yeah, that's true. I love the jump ramp. Yep. Yep. Very Lord of the Rings. Lord of the Rings. Exactly, Lord of the Rings. Or Iron Maiden, I guess, but more Lord of the Rings because it's, like, dead center. And it actually passes, like, behind the… Yeah. It comes back around through. Yeah. It doesn't just drop down. I love… I think the new screen is awesome. Dude, I really like that. Let's talk about that a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. Do you know, like, the specs on that? 18 and a half inches. 18 and a half inches. Yeah. Higher resolution, more color depth. I don't have the specs. I think 256 times more colors. My first impression, well, before I saw it, I was a little apprehensive. I thought, Jersey Jack, oh, shit, here we go, right? Like, oh, my God. Yeah, too much information. Totally wrong. Totally wrong. When I saw it, I was like, yeah, this is great. It gives, for me anyway, my eyes just a little more space to be able to process all the information that's on the screen. And I don't feel like they've thrown much extra at the player either. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the video clips and graphical content doesn't fill up the screen. So you're not trying to parse that out from the scores at the bottom and stuff like that. The scores now have their own larger framed area around it, which is actually really, I think, a big improvement. Yeah, I loved it. And to be honest, had I not known that, I may not have even noticed right away that it was much bigger, right? That's why I saw a game side by side. any night right in a good way it is much bigger but yeah i don't think i would have noticed right away necessarily it doesn't smack you in the face like oh my gosh it's so huge right it's like 30 bigger yeah which is not not nothing when you're talking about a screen right like the same footprint as a spike 2 game it's gonna look normal in your lineup and yeah same size back glass right yeah i think the screen is a big hit with spike 3 it feels a little iphone-y you know like the camera has got one more thing and it's it yeah but no it's a nice upgrade but in actuality it's a bigger leap than like an iphone 16 or an iphone 15 or whatever it feels more substantial than that i think that's what i was thinking and then when i saw it i was like wait a second it's actually great i was wrong yeah yeah i guess for me all i have left colin two more things the first one what has been your highlight today during the like what is the official name of this event the secret media day i think is what they call it but i love hanging out with the pinball media community here so that's always a highlight of these things for me i brought my dad with me this time was that your dad dude your dad looks so young man yeah that's crazy so that's been fun that's awesome like give him that experience and yeah sort of is he no not at all okay uh no so he plays it when I play it. I think he appreciates that I'm into it and what I do, but I'm not one of those guys who grew up with pinball in their house and that's why I'm into it now. It's fun to share it with them at least. Yeah, it's like a window into your world. Right. Yeah, that's cool. That's amazing. Yeah, it is nice that they give you a plus one option at these events. I emailed Zach, I'm like, so those plus ones, do you care if I bring my dad? Well, thank you for asking that question because we were thinking of people like mine frame but what was your what was your highlight seeing george gomez crank up the freaking game to like 12 yeah and then he played a game dude yeah i was like oh my god i'm watching george gomez play irl right now yeah he was showing off the upgraded the upgraded yep which by the way for me that's gonna be a big thing like the sound good for a home user for home users arcade man you probably won't really notice a difference. Well, I guess if they do something interesting with the headphone connectors, I don't know. Yeah. So I did talk to Kyle about the wireless capabilities and all three versions will support because the architecture is based on a Raspberry Pi 4, which has built in Bluetooth. Okay. Yeah. They're all going to work with Bluetooth out of the box. That's great. No extra equipment. They don't have a headphone jack, but they'll work with, you know, any wireless Bluetooth setup. So that actually makes arcade play, like at our local place, you can't hear games at all. And if, like, they'll have Jersey Jack games there, and I'll bring my headphones and plug it in so that I can actually hear Elton John. So that's a game changer for, you know, busy, loud arcade. Right. If it's turned on and works, and hopefully that turns out to be the case. So we'll see. We will see, indeed. Fingers crossed. And my last question, Colin, was what's new with you? Kineticist, This Week in Pinball. I mean, Expo's coming up pretty soon. Is there anything that you want to specifically mention or announce or talk about? Yes. I can't talk in too much detail about it now, but we'll be releasing more details about it soon. The Pinball Media Mixer, our happy hour event is coming back. Cool. It'll be slightly different, but sort of the same. Keeping the cauliflower wings or whatever. That's actually a very good question. probably it's the same venue i didn't mind it i just heard i heard a lot of rumblings about don't eat the call dude don't listen to it dude they don't know what they're talking about some people were upset by the food there was some food we got feedback too like dude your food is bad i'm like no no it's like an almost free event and it wasn't bad it was good they were full because they've been sipping on some haterade dude because it was delicious and i like it was an awesome event too so yeah hopefully we get invited again yeah we will so we're doing that again the thursday night of expo at interium arcades yeah but that's the only only new thing i can talk about right now otherwise we're just continuing to publish content that we find interesting in the pinball hobby you guys are killing it i always end up on kinetis is like awesome even if i don't start there that's where i end up hell yeah all right yeah i love it and one last note for me, I'll forever be grateful to you for introducing the world to our show. Hell yeah. Thank you. Yeah, no, you guys produce awesome, awesome work, so keep it up. I'm excited to hear the next season. I wasn't fishing for a conference. I really appreciate you calling. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Well, thanks, Colin. It was awesome to have you here. Thanks, guys. It was fun. And now for an important message. Hello, my name's Penny. I think people shouldn't do drugs. They can make you forget things, like which animals have have stripes. Your body might get clumsier, so you can't jump rope is good. Drugs can get you in big trouble. You could go to principal's office or go to jail. Then you can't watch TV or eat pizza. Recess is good. Hamsters are good. Birthday parties are real good. Drugs are bad. I don't want to do drugs. That commercial reminds me, we got merch. Why is that? How does that remind you of our merch? Well, it turns out our merch that we have on the store now, while supplies last, is inspired by the D.A.R.E. anti-drug program. Everybody remembers that. It totally worked. Yeah, it was so effective. You know, everybody remembers the black shirt with the red D.A.R.E. letters to keep kids off drugs. Yeah, who does? I can't forget that ever. this is your brain on drugs all the anti-drug stuff that's happening in the 80s and 90s was so effective yes so effective that we're gonna try it for a merch right well so the shirt says bash in the red iconic dare style to keep kids playing pinball maybe we should have made it to keep kids from playing pinball oh so they don't want to and then that would have made it more likely that they would play reverse psychology uh we already made them so help us fund the bash pinball advocacy program for children to keep playing pinball by buying a shirt or a hat store.bashingball.com store.bashpinball.com and now back to the show yeah you guys have such soothing voices and it's funny because i listen to your show all the time and i i love that part of it i'm like oh they're just like they got their radio voices like maybe they're doing extra editing but then i mean we in person yeah and you guys really are quite soft-spoken just nice gentlemen we do quite a bit in posts so the the one thing i can do is go pretty low yeah now i can go low hey i can go i can go pretty low like this you know what i mean it's gotta go country go down and active on that even more yeah okay it's that kind of day hey no i can i can also vouch for this you guys sound exactly i mean i call i've talked to you both on the telephone yesterday yeah that is true that's how much i like talking and hearing your voices did they call you in for advice ago no i called them we had to actually maybe is this the place to announce that we have oh yeah we should we have a shared booth at pinball expo 2025 yeah find us in like the vendor hall area kind of where we were last year if any of y'all probably yeah the nudge bash yeah well yeah nudge bash nudge nudge bash no your name first better yeah Well, I just mean like because a bash is like a thing. So it's like a descriptive of a – Nudge bash. Yeah, nudge bash. Actually, we're kind of doing the same thing. Like a nudge is a bash. It's like a gentle bash. Yeah. Nudge is a gentle bash. I love it. You could nudge into a bash. You could. Like make it a move. I have an actual nudge bash. Yeah. Anyway, yeah, so that's going to happen. And you guys are going to podcast from there? Yeah. We are going to podcast. I think you're going to have coffee there as well. We are going to have the best espresso anyone has ever had. So you get people all hopped up on caffeine and then you get them to say crazy shit. I see what your game is. It helps. It helps a little bit. But I think it's going to be really fun and I'm excited to do it with you guys. Me too. This will be a little expo adventure for all of us. I'm so excited to see you, man. I know that I was kind of a butthole to you for a while. What? That's not true. There was this weird beef. No, this is negative self-talk, and I don't really like it. Because you know what I'm talking about. You're a perfectly fine friend. And there's no reason for you to say that. I'll accept it. But I'm very excited to see you, and I'm very excited to meet Shane. And props to you guys on the Nudgecast. Thank you. Okay, are we done here? Yeah, this is never good. Thank you. See you guys later. Thank you. Yeah, and we might should have introduced our current guests, Ian Jacoby and Shane Holt. You might should have, yeah. might should have might should have fix it in post i'm ian uh yeah i'm also ian good let's confuse the people no i i'm shane i did the fake intro with talking about your soothing voices that was me that that's that's right yeah and now here we are and should we so should we tell them what we're doing right now because we're kind of a crazy environment where we're chatting yeah unlike normal episodes the background noise is it's real real ambience it's We're in the middle of What is Stern calls this Pinball alley They have a big Light up sign No this is a discussion We keep having Because we forget every time I was literally gonna Bring this up right now Yeah Okay What is the name of this room replay replay replay lounge just replay but it is kind of replay we surrounded by twippies and games of the year like awards gone past like stretching into oblivion but there's tvs and there's a real brick wall we're told is that real that's what they said george george insisted that was a real George made that happen, yeah. So there's just one brick wall in this whole joint? I mean, maybe that one, too. Oh, yeah, there's two. Two. I think that's the shit you get from Lowe's that's, like, just the panels. Yeah, like plywood-sized panels. They're like, no, George, this is real. Maybe they are. I don't know. They might be, man. But I don't know if it's load-bearing. No, I think it's not structurally sound. Building the bar and that wall out of lit-up playfield is sick, though. Yeah. That is the playfield bar is sick. Yeah. I love how this is going to be the whole like show. Oh, I love it. I love it. I love it. Yeah. No. Yeah. Pinball alley is the big sign in the middle, but they sell that sign to anybody. So. Okay. Word. Yeah. You can buy that sign. Yeah. How much is that? It's only like $4,500. It is very expensive, but our local has worth it. Yeah. Look at that thing. Damn. That's nice. It is a nice. It looks okay. It kind of has the some of the lights are kind of like submarine. but then yeah the pinball alley truly pretty nice it's kind of a spooky font like a it is caspery font or something it is yeah it has the halloween vibe anyway okay this is what the people came here for yeah yeah we're breaking the embargo to bring you yeah it's not a load-bearing wall i mean i'm cool if you guys don't want to talk about the game no let's talk about life we should we should talk about it i'm curious to hear you guys talk about it because you i wasn't here for the morning session when they actually explained it a little bit. Is that cool? Like, could you explain some of, did you, have you talked about spike three and some of that stuff? We can talk about it. Yeah. Yeah. What did they say about it? So the, the first thing was we're not allowed to record anything in there. So nobody got any official, it's just whatever you can remember. And so what I remember was the first thing they said was spike three is going to be kind of rolled out over time. The hardware is all there and it's done, but features-wise, it's not necessarily all on display right now. Did they talk about any specific features that they'd roll out? No. They said basically the gist of it is that the screen is bigger. The speakers are better. They have an HDMI plug, which everyone, all the media people like us are excited because you have one out that does audio and video. That's pretty huge. and they have Bluetooth for headphones. Oh, that's cool. On all three models by default. Which is also really good. But they didn't get into too much about if they're going to change the lighting system. It's a Raspberry Pi 4-based system, so it's kind of an off-the-shelf, modified architecture. I think some people are like, oh, they're just cutting costs, but it's a viable platform. Exactly. why would you like make it harder for yourself for no reason right right oh no we need to make this proprietary yeah yeah just use what's there translate same size too i definitely heard that there's oftentimes raspberry pi shortages and so hopefully that's not an issue here got it but definitely when new versions of raspberry pies come out you can't get them for a really long hey jack say hi jack hey jack your voice is incredible it's the guy now everyone has a Your voice is incredible, dude. That's the kind of stuff that happens. Not Pinball Alley. It's called Replay. Replay. Replay. Jack Daniels behind the back. What else did we talk about with Spike 3? Honestly, the biggest thing that I noticed coming in, it was an interesting experience for me because I wasn't there for any of that. You missed the little chat. I just walked in and played the game, and that was kind of my first experience with it. It was fun. I actually didn't notice the screen was bigger until someone pointed out, and then it was undeniably cooler to have. Specifically, I think Ray Day said, so this must be a talking point, is that the text is so big on the crawl. You can really read it clearly. And the clips did look amazing. I think that part of it was interesting to me. I'm sure by the time people hear this, everyone will have seen the rollout and stuff. But I think the games don't look much different. You see John Wick right beside Star Wars, and they look pretty much the same. The translates are the same size. The speakers are a little different, but the screen looks a little bit wider, a little bit bigger. But it's not much different. And also, I think Star Wars, the game, the default screen is black. So you also don't really see, like, if it was white against another white screen, you'd be like, oh, okay, that one looks like it's 25% bigger. But when it's black all the time and kind of blends in with the backbox, you don't really notice on this game as much. I think also the display, the clips that you're looking at are about the same size as the previous game, but now there's just more borders and real estate around it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, I mean, that makes it clearer ultimately because then the, like, sort of heads-up display or whatever is bordering. I think it's much easier to read what's happening on the screen versus when the whole thing is one big graphic. Yes. Yeah. 100%. Well, some people, I think, were expecting, like, Jersey Jack size screen. Yeah. Yeah. That was me. Update. And it's not. It's nowhere near. It's not like that at all. Not at all. But I think maybe Stern, they do want to keep it like, so when you have your games in a row, I think they want it to look kind of uniform. And I think collectors do sort of care about that. Yeah. Which might have been why they didn't. And also, I think it would change their whole platform. Now they're like, oh, now we have to find a different person to make our translates or different dimensions. Or now it's like they can kind of keep everything the same. Yeah, I think playing D&D games, like Don and I talk about a lot, sometimes we just want to play a D&D game because it's simple. and when you play a spike 2 game oftentimes it's just overwhelming i think it also hurts new players yeah i dude i love i'll forever love dmds no matter what i mean like any animation graphic on there to me is it's funny it's quirky it's like nostalgic it's just cool right like yeah bad assets and weird ass like cartoony looking shit sometimes just throws me off a little bit i don't know man like it's i agree with you i want to see the lady pull out the gun at the the judge dread i love shit like that you know but obviously i think pinball needs to grow like it's evolution yeah and we the newer people the younger people people are getting into it expect a certain level of true and that's where we are it's true but i 100 agree with you like fish tales is probably my favorite game it's just how it is is the dumbest game in the world i love it i always like bring up the same analogy for this but i honestly think that just pinball machines are like ice cream flavors and i think that flavor can be popular too and like someone could make a dmd game now right it would be really cool but also this is rad it's super fun i had a fun time shooting it the layouts yeah it's isn't that funny though the spike 3 you'd think that this would add like a level of more complexness to the game yeah but if anything this game is way more chill and simple than let's say king kong the last game yeah the layout is way more yes traditional yeah and the shots and everything about it's just a it's a fan layout to flipper game like that's kind of interesting that spike 3 isn't over the top with features yeah for their first rollout that's a good point yeah it's a slow play definitely well but also i think that the layout is interesting in its own way like this for me is like a shootable borg this is actually pretty shootable for me like i have a hard time with borg layouts a lot of times and this one is yeah as a fan layout but it's really interesting because it still has some trademark borg things are still there there's you notice the double in lane but also an interesting pop-up replacement where like usually he'll kind of have them like almost offset to the side and you know the return is through them this time still interesting there is the one over there but then there's one on the other side and it creates this crazy back and forth it's really flowy until it's not and then all of a sudden it's really not yeah yeah and that's interesting like that's a cool layout and having the toilet bowl in there and stuff i called it a i don't remember what i called it but someone at Stern called it a toilet. Oh, really? I was like, is that what the name for it is? Don from Don's Pinball Podcast, he's already talking about making up the Jabba the Hutt mod where he's sitting on a toilet. Wow. Yeah, you know that's going to happen. Yeah, yeah. I mean, if the market demands it. I think the game is cool, though. It's just not really what I was expecting, I guess. Kind of the same. I think I like it, though. But again, you never know with pinball. What were you expecting? I think I was expecting a little bit crazier, like more wild shots. But I mean, it is like an upper play field or what? Yeah, maybe an upper play field, a lower play field, like more things like that, more upper play field, more flippers, just kind of more everything. But I mean, that's not really what Borg does. We knew it was Borg already. Yeah. So that doesn't make sense. You're a Borg guy. You have so many Borg games. Borg games. Like Monopoly games. Exactly. No, that's a Pat Lawler game. I have Borg games. I have one at the moment. I sold my Walking Dead. Well, he has a lot of band games, though. I thought you had band things. Well, I have a Metallica. Oh, you don't have a Rush. I thought you had a Rush. No, I don't. You're not a good Canadian, dude. That's your people, man. That's your people. That was like growing up. That was the one band came on the radio. I instantly changed it. I respect the band. Dude, you have to push against that shit, too. Like, for real. I mean, I'm from the land of Boney Bear. I always play the loud band. I get pushed. I don't know. I respect the band and stuff. No, it's just generationally different. And also, I feel that way about Rush as well. I also don't particularly like Rush the pinball machine. I think it's maybe my least favorite board game. I don't know. It's a bunch of things. I don't really find the time machine overly compelling. I hate shooting that through the pop bumpers. On Iron Maiden, it's cool, but on Rush, I don't like doing it. Yeah, the scoop, like the Addams Family scoop, I don't really like that either. I just don't really like the game. Well, so you like this one, though. I think I like this one. I think. But, you know, pinball's weird. At first you like things, then you don't later, and then the code changes and you're like, I was wrong the whole time. You seemed like you were being tempted by it when we were looking at him. You were, like, almost talking yourself into it, I could kind of see. Oh, like buying the game? Yes, I could. I don't know about that. Wait, buying a Star Wars? Yes. Yeah, okay. I don't know. I felt it. I felt movement in the force. Are you in the market for a game? I don't know if I'm in the market for this game. I buy games. Here's what happened. I have room for like six to seven games in my loft in my house upstairs. Cool, cool. So I filled that up. It's full. Jesus. Then, yeah, I got some cheap ones. I got like a high speed in there. Cool, cool. Hell yeah. So I live in Las Vegas. It's very hot. And I was like, what if I just put air conditioning in my garage? There you go. Because I have a three-car garage. that's like 40 more games so i put the air and i didn't know how well it was you know it's like 115 degrees out there some days so i'm like how well is this really gonna work yeah installed it myself don't tell my hoa and um literally like it's so cold in there we're talking mini split no i just did freaking through the wall oh nice dual hose whatever all right yeah i just yeah mini split mini split was going to be maybe too obvious to the okay sure sure sure be able to see the compressor outside so i did quick and dirty but it freaking worked so now the sky's the limit right but uh yeah so now i have games in my garage i got like an old ems that i'm like broken ems i'm working on that's cool i'm just picking it all up so he's got a dipsy doodle what does that it's kind of a cool game it's it's from 1970 it's a williams game it has a lower play field that has a ball underneath the play field and when you start it you start the doodle bug that's what it's called and the ball goes when the ball goes back and forth it's this is i'm not doing anything sexual with my hands right now he is doodle bug it goes back and forth and gets you points but what's interesting about the game is the flippers are floating to where you can't trap the ball so you have to keep the ball moving but it's a legit mech for like 1970 i think that's kind of interesting yeah it's crazy anyway i mean i got the game for 250 so it works one of the things that george gomez mentioned about spike 3 is that theoretically it could be retrofitted to spike 2 games and i think going forward when they do a vault game or re-release or something like that they could add all of the spike 3 bits to it Like Ghostbusters could have Ghostbusters clips, and that would be cool. Didn't he say that, like, if, say, they were going to do another run of, like, Godzilla. Yeah. They're going to do many runs of Godzilla. Yeah. He kind of alluded, I took from it, that they wouldn't do it on a Spike 3 platform because it would be a lot of work to reprogram the whole thing when really Spike 3 is not that much better. But maybe I misinterpreted that. So what I gathered was that they wouldn't necessarily make it a kit or anything that somebody could just upgrade themselves. But once they're cranking out Spike 3 games in-house, they're going to have all the hardware and it's easy for them. The only problem is they actually have to do some code changes to make it work with Spike 3. But everything else hardware-wise I think is an easy switch. Yeah. For Stern, not for the home user. I also wonder if maybe that's not something they're going to say. Yeah. Because now you're going to be like, oh, maybe I want to buy a Godzilla because it's the greatest game of all time. But now I don't want to be the Spike 2 one when the Spike 3 one might be coming in a year. Didn't really interpret it the same way you did, but we'll never know because it wasn't recorded. I'm just realizing now that Ghostbusters isn't even a Spike system. No, it's like a Sam. Or Spike 1, right? Or Sam. Is that a Sam? Sam, I think it is. I think they technically call it Spike 1. I don't know. If only there was somebody here we could ask. It's a DMD. You're right. It is. But I think they call it like one. I don't know. I'll look it up. Real quick, right? For non-nerds, what the hell? What are we talking about? Yeah, I have an idea. It's like the code, like the operating system. It's the stuff that it runs on. It's the operating system. But essentially, I think what really is always hammered home for me when we come to stuff like this is how much that OS has to do in comparison even to like a PC or something. Where it's all virtual. like this thing is running right physical systems like a bunch of different ones and so that all is a big deal and the engineering for that is a big deal we always talk to jim i forget what his last name is but the guy with the glasses here he does the wiring systems and he told me he said it's automotive aerospace those are like the complexity of these like wiring harnesses wow and so like I think there's a lot of engineering that has to go into those things. And so when they upgrade those systems, it's always like a really big deal. Because I was always like, oh, big deal. It's just like a DMD upgrade. I always thought of it like that way. I was like, oh, it's like from DMD to like this, and now it's a bigger screen. Because that is partially how it manifests, but really it's about everything. Internally, it's way more than that. Integrating light shows, we talked about, and music and all that stuff. So this is the first Spike 3 game. Yes. Official. Yes. So then prior to Spike 3 was Spike 2, right? Which was- Started around 2017. And then Spike- Spike 1 was Ghostbusters. I not sure what else was Yeah Maybe Game of Thrones It was like a shorter lived thing Okay Because Game still had that DMD kind of like more dots right Almost like video Red video And that was Spike 1. I think it was also the worst video mode of all time. It's like the jankiest, and you just kind of are jumping, and even the guy stabbing doesn't look like he's trying very hard. Spike 1. But it's been like a pretty steady progression and nothing crazy. I think it makes sense that you wouldn't try to bite off more than you can kind of chew because I think what's cool about this game specifically is that the code is pretty far along. When we were talking to Ray Day, I was like, dude, it seems like there's a lot of code in here. He said everything except for the two wizard modes. I heard one of the things George Goma was talking about was that they have a thousand clips for this game. I asked Ray Day point blank, okay, there's a thousand clips in this game. How many so far have you used? Because to me, that's like, okay, how code complete are we? And he said about half. okay but the game does feel pretty good point being this one is quite far along and it was interesting to talk to ray day a bit when we were playing over here and i was just asking him i'm like experientially like how do you translate like movie to a game like to you making a pinball game you know and he kind of talked about symbolically like there is a lot of stuff in there depending on so when you qualify the vader mode and then it is a roving shot to decide which vader mode you get next like you shoot you know you qualify it then you shoot a shot to start each one each of the clips is specific to like if you hit the loop ramp it's the duel between those two i don't know just thinking about those layers of gameplay you're thinking about flow you need to think about what shot goes to what shot and that kind of stuff but also thematically how you're layering that element yeah it's like this is quite far along in that way and that's that's interesting it does feel pretty fully baked you know i remember playing jaws when it first came out and some games where It's just like, is this done yet? Right. And whether this is like a tournament game or not, I'm saying right now as someone who wants to go spend an afternoon just playing a Star Wars game, it seems quite fun. It does feel like probably a long player. Yes. I think people who are good at pinball are going to get 20-minute games out of this. Probably. Yes, I agree. I wonder if maybe a steeper pitch and open up the outlanes a little bit and maybe the game is more brutal than we think. It probably is, man. So I'm sure people are wondering if the flippers feel the same on Spike 3 because it's a whole new architecture. They feel the same to me. That's been the stern thing. Like, our flippers feel the best. Always hard to say because these are like the first ones, right? And it's like new rubbers and stuff. Yeah. It feels good. Yeah. It's snappy. It feels good. Like, all the little moves and bounces and catches and all that stuff seems to be just kind of what you would expect. They're pretty smooth. Yeah. You know, sometimes when you have the sterns, they're so snappy, you almost kind of feel the game shake a little bit with them. These ones maybe feel a little smoother. Yeah, no, they felt really, really good. I mean, like I said, these guys are rushing these games up. It was so funny to hear. Even Kyle was like, man, the code's really far along compared to what it was last week. In the tour, he was like, Shane, you were there. Didn't he say 14 months? 14 months is the development time from when they start designing the game until that's fast. comes out. I didn't know that. I heard it was more like 18 months. I know it's changed a lot over time. I think back in the day, early Data East games were like three months. The whole thing? Jesus. Yeah, because Williams was taking a year. But that's why the code sucks. Yeah, that's why the code sucks in those games. They're like, oh, Jurassic Park came out. We can do that in three months. It's like the layout is dope, but then you're just like, eh. Man, but when you look at the release schedule on those games, and to shout out another good podcast, the podcast i forget what they call it but like the retroactive award of like 1986 like high speed like all the games that came out and like when you see how many games williams was putting out in a year yeah it's kind of nuts yeah when they were putting out a game like literally every two months or more well they weren't all bangers they were all bangers but i don't know if they were were they really did it really take a year to to make it yeah yeah i mean at least that's what those guys have said, Pat Lawler and whatnot, Steve Ritchie, is like that was the typical development time. They were taking about a year, whereas Gottlieb and Data East were taking three weeks to three months. Wow. But the Wedgetek guys, they love Gottlieb, so it worked out. Yeah. Obviously, Stern is now more doing the Williams thing and really investing in the code and the development time and the playtesting. All the companies really seem to be doing that. I mean, we don't know on the record how long J.J.P. took to make Harry Potter, but probably a long freaking time. I think it was a long time. Real quick, by the way, shout out to you guys, because that Harry Potter episode about AI, we were just talking to Colin about it, too. He was just here. So if you haven't heard that episode of the Nudgecast, check it out, because I heard it on the way here. It was awesome. And I'm going to be on an expo panel with Jack Winari. Wait, you're going to be on a panel? Jersey Jack Pinball. Because he totally... Dude. About art and AI art and pinball. Dude, it's me, Jack Winari, Christopher Franchi, Brian Allen. How did that come together? Matt. Get your popcorn ready for this one. And then who else? Brad Brad Albright. He did the P3 Portal game. Oh, cool. And a great pinball artist. Really, really great. Dude, Ian straight up called him out. Because I guess he made a claim that like, yo, no, we definitely didn't use AI on this game. Well, they did. and it was like obvious to everybody right and the only person it wasn't obvious to is like obviously someone who's a bit out of touch like you know no offense i get it like i probably wouldn't be in touch either to be honest we've always had a really good relationship with jersey jack so i'm saying like they know how to do it right for sure they've done it right and i'll give them credit for that but also to just like really be confidently saying there was no ai already used one it's like very obviously you don't know at the best i agree i agree it's like sloppy if i were jack i would probably go into this thing saying we've recognized that we shouldn't have done it that way and in the future we're going to employ all but blah blah that's what he should say yeah but i have a feeling he's gonna just triple down i have a feeling we got a live stream though i'm reasonably sure that warner brothers is not super happy with their art and ip being fed into a generative ai filter because i know they aren't because they are one of several ip giants that are in lawsuits with ai companies right now yeah yeah so what are you doing it's true well like you guys said on the show it's like you know spend millions of dollars on license 10 plus years developing like why drop the ball like the final mile doesn't make sense it's like it's whatever it happened i'm excited to see what this panel's like i'm not looking to be contentious right off the bat. I'm not. But in your soul, you kind of are, right? That I'm a contentious person? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't shy. I know you. I'm quite Larry David in that way, for sure. I would say. I'm a bit of a curmudgeon, and I speak my truth, for sure. That's what I love about you, dude. Thanks, man. Thank you for being real, dude. I don't know. It's like a selfish way to be sometimes, but it is, unfortunately, just one of my quirks. So it'll be fun to have Jack win over the experience I've worked. Hey, Don, can your girlfriend man the booth while we... Yeah, she will. She'll cover the booth. We got to be there, dude. We got to be there. All right, so find that on the expo schedule if you want to see that. Please. Dude, Franchi might jump me. I don't know. Franchi said that he would use AI to do a piece of laundry on Playfield. Do you remember him saying that? Basically, he's okay with using AI for grunt work. If there's a pile of laundry on the ground, that's not important to the image. He would have AI generate it. That's what he said, right? We'll have a lot of different opinions. It'll be an interesting scale. I am on one end. I'm sure Jack might be on the other, but we'll have people falling. It won't just be me and him fighting. I think there'll be a lot of different opinions on it. And there should be. It's not completely cut and dry. Definitely not. Did you mention what the panel is? What's the topic? Yeah, it's literally run by Joe Chiravino, who also wrote the football pages. Isn't that crazy? He got all of us, though. He did a great job. Good job. He actually, there was a couple of Stern artists that were maybe going to be on the panel. Unfortunately, they couldn't be there for a couple of different reasons. But, dude, he booked a banger. That's cool. That's awesome. But he'll be the moderator, which means there won't be a moderator. And it'll be the rest of us, yeah, talking about AI, art, and pinball, and maybe the future of that. I don't know. So which day is this at Expo? It's on Saturday. It's Saturday evening. Or like in the afternoon, like 3 or 4. Maybe I do have to get on a plane on Saturday morning and see this. You should be there. Well, it'll be fun because I'll be... I mean, what if it ends up being you, me versus Jack Winari and Steve Ritchie? I mean, I know their combined age is approaching 200, but we might... No, you get Steve. I don't want that smoke. I'm scared of Steve, dude. Me too, dude. He's scary. No, he could still kill every single one of them from this table with his bare hands like John Wick style. Like, just stick your fingers into the socket and kill you. Terrifying, dude. Yeah. Steve Ritchie with a pencil, look out. Yeah. he's like talking to your ear really softly as he's dying steven seagal style hilarious that's hilarious oh my god i'm so glad to see you man me too i'm so glad to meet you shane that's awesome yeah thanks for having us on this and yeah we love what you're doing we think you guys are kind of like the mount rushmore of uh podcast for sure well maybe not maybe not quite in popularity yet because you guys are relatively new but in terms of content In terms of content, I think this is a... It's my favorite to listen to, dude. You guys are the best. Thanks for letting our dumbasses be a part of it. Is there anything else you guys wanted to mention or say before I expo? So by the way, Nudge 5 is out now. Please go check it out, nudgepinball.com and order a Nudge 5. Recently unemployed, so I need y'all bye-bye-bye. Order one for yourself and then order one for your mom, your dad, your uncle, your kid. I have a reader question from Glenn Glenn Waechter. Are you going to have bundles with all five magazines at Expo? Right. You should. You will be able to buy all five magazines at Expo. Yes. Awesome. Period. Full stop. And it's the only place you will ever be able to get all five in those nice covers. You know what I'm talking about? The velvety kind of thing called a satin finish. What we're known for, I don't mail those out anymore. You get crappy ones if you get them in the mail. They're real shitty. So come to Expo. All right. All right. And we're going to be in a booth together and I can't wait. Yeah. It's good, dude. I'm looking forward to it right now. Yeah, we are too. Cool. Okay. Bye, guys. All right. Thank you, Shane. Thank you, man. No, thank you. It's really great to be. Dude, wait a second. Tell me one more time because I want to hear about this. This fucking the gambling. What's the like? Oh, why I'm missing expo? Right. So I can go on the record on this one. I just want to hear about it. It's pretty sick. While we were young, Fest, right? I was going to go last year and I ended up bailing because I had to go to Expo. Yeah. It's the same weekend, unfortunately. So I'm an emo singer. And in my scene, the biggest festival of the year is when we were young festival in Las Vegas. And it happens to be the same weekend as Expo, which is a huge bummer for me. Last year, I couldn't go to Expo because my band was playing. Right. It's two days. So we played both days of the festival. This year, I'm like, okay, well, maybe I can just skip the emo festival. It's fine. And go to Chicago. However, I got asked to do the Stratosphere Casino, you know, the big space needle. Everyone knows in Vegas. So that casino is doing an event over the weekend called Emo Casino, where they are enlisting different emo band guys to come and gamble at the tables. and they're paying me handsomely to be there for an appearance fee and then they're also just giving me chips to gamble with and i've got a 30 minute time slot where i'm going to be there they're going to be filming me they asked me they're already like what's your favorite game that's incredible you'll probably see me at the craps table at the stratosphere or the strat i could play roulette i'm just trying to think of like what game can i play for 30 minutes and lose the least amount because then i can just take the rest dude so smart and maybe if i win enough i can just Get on a plane that night. I'll take the red-eye to Chicago that night for Expo. Hell yeah. This is why we love Shane. Shane is such a rock star. And then he wants to just be a pinball nerd. I don't want to be a pinball nerd. I am a pinball nerd. No, but given that life, you're just like, yeah, dude, I'm going to lose the least amount possible and then get on a red-eye to go with a bunch of pinball nerds. It's awesome. That's awesome. It's worth it. Every casino is kind of emo if you wait long enough. Ouch. Well, right? It's true. It's true. It's like, damn. It's true. Just keep playing. You could write a sad song about it. But then you just seen it a few way long enough. Man, that's tough. Ian, did I tell you? Silverstein's legit one of my favorite bands when I was growing up, man. No. Which is crazy. It's crazy that I'm here right now. For real. Thanks, man. I'll show you a picture that I got with basically a shirt, right? I had the entire band sign it for me. I think I started following you guys on Instagram. And you hit me up and you were like, no way, dude. This is Shane Toll. And then I found the shirt. And I remember because like your drummer, right? Paul Kohler, right? Billy Mitchell. Billy Hamilton. Hamilton, sorry. Billy Mitchell is the king of Kong. Yeah, sorry. Billy Hamilton. Obviously, you like. Dude, I'm a fan, dude. Thanks, man. I'm like playing it cool right now. But like, no, I'm pretty stoked. You're kind of playing it cool. Yeah. Not that cool. But anyways, I always think I always say it's kind of crazy because you're not the only person to kind of say that to me in this hobby. And it's funny because I'm the diva of the two of us by far. Like he's the chill producer, does everything. And I'm the one sending bitchy texts back to him. And he's like, I usually have at least like enough self-awareness to come back. So anyway, I'm just saying like he's actually a quite grounded man as well. Whereas I am not. I let the tiniest bit of Instagram just go straight to my head. that's hilarious yeah no but seriously man thank you thank you Shane thank you when broken is easily fixed man that's top top album well we got a new album out in two days by the way cool September 12th it's already out when people listen to this so hell yeah what's it called Pink Moon hell yeah hell yeah cool alright okay guys thank you we're gonna let you guys go thank you get some people behind us they're the real people people want to hear from for sure okay bye guys alright love you guys thanks guys so that was the end of part one hope you enjoyed it part two is already posted yeah so just keep listening and i'll probably even autoplay it yeah so i'm just gonna stop talking so that happens okay bye bye leave this territory now Return to your home. evacuate all personnel
