Remember that movie we saw yesterday? Freaky Friday? Uh, yeah. The chick and her mom switched bodies because the chick wanted bigger things. And then they learned a lesson. Coming to you from beautiful upstate New York, this is the Slam Show Podcast, the show about all things pinball. I'm your host, Ron Hallett, here with the other host, Bruce Nightingale. We're going R-B-N, R-B-N. That's what I'm doing, I'm R-B-N. What the hell? R-B-N. What does that mean? I went to an R-B show yesterday. RV-ing. Like Arby's? No, RV. Oh, RV. Yeah, RV-ing, RV-ing. Okay. That's where the fun is, RV-ing. All right. RV-ing. Was the Spaceballs Winnebago there? No, I wish it was because I would have ordered it right up then, you know. Spaceballs. This is episode 262. We have a guest. We do. We brought him back. We had him here last January, and he's back. these are once a year throw around. Yeah, baby. I feel like that buildup was awesome. Thank you for that. My fellow host in the incredible history-based podcast Silver Ball Chronicles. That's your one and none. That's your one and none. That's it. We're not going to plug the highest rated pinball podcast that is monthly by two Caucasian hosts from upstate New York and Canada. That's the number one rating. The one that gets better ratings than we do. That's true. And what was our last episode about? Jersey Jack Pinball Part 2, the Eras Tour. The Eras Tour. We reviewed all of the different eras of Jersey Jack Pinball. Hopefully they're in the best era, which would be the profitable era. Yeah, just like our podcast, because we're on Patreon. Silverballchronicles.com. Okay, you two fuckers, shut the fuck up. We don't talk about Patreons here. Bruce is like anti-Patreon, big time. Anti-Patreon. All right. Well, how about, let's see, GoFundMes. Are you anti-GoFundMes? Depends on certain things. How about Kickstarters? Do they still do that? They still do that, some people do. What about panhandling? You're okay with panhandling? Panhandling? No, not at all. No, I want to go onto the curb and take them all out right then and there. Oh, change. Change. Wow. So, David's here because we're going to play the exciting likely or unlikely game later on. In the next year in a row. Second year in a row. We're going to see what our predictions were, you know, how good we did or bad we did. Awesome. Awesome stuff. But for the first item, I chose this specially for Bruce because he loves to say this. Dutch pinball exclusive DPX or? Dual penetration extreme. Yes. We've reached January, so you know what that means, folks. Countdown to how many people can get some refunds. Basically, yeah, they had the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and if you ordered it and you didn't get it by this year, you could ask for a refund. So it looks like they made $275 of the $500. So they got just past the halfway mark. That's better than expected. Good for them. Yeah, what do you think, Bruce? Is that better than you expected? Did you think they would have any? Oh, I thought they'd have some, of course, because they had to ship out some to make some money. But I'm hoping 225 people will ask for their refunds and really just... Wow. Damn. Okay. Supposedly, they will finish these in May. and then on to another John Papadu classic, Retro Atomic Zami Adventureland Raza, because everyone wants that. The classic. Everyone needs that. The classic that never came out. Yeah, everyone needs that. From Deep Root. So I guess if you want your refund on your Alice, you ask for it in January, and then supposedly they start giving the refunds out in February. So we'll see how that goes. So we'll keep a track of whether they actually send any refunds out. Yeah, I don't think they're going to be bragging about that. Hey, we got 12 refunds. We have 12 machines ready to resell. What are you tracking? Now, wait a second. I have a question. I have a question. Remember how they said they were going to take their orders, and once the order bank's done, the order bank's done. So if 12 refunds are given out, are they offering these 12 machines up for sale? Yes, I believe so. Okay. I believe so. Yeah. Well, I'm at NAP Arcade. Hi, NAP. Let's see what Lee says. I thought I read that somewhere, though. That, yeah. Yeah, so if you were interested in buying this previously sold-out game, reach out to a distributor and see if you can get on a list. You may be able to get one. I mean, I would think so. Unless they just don't want to sell them. I mean, they're going right to DPX, and then there's this supposed, what is it, Back to the Future at the end of the year by Dutch. The DeLorean game about time travel. Yeah. Yeah, I don't see how they have any assets for that since no one else could get them. Yeah, exactly. I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't get why they keep doing these stupid Papaduke games. I'm still confused. It's because he did two games in the 90s. Two? That's it? No, come on. Let's be fair. World Cup soccer. One. World Cup soccer is the best one. Two from the Arabian Nights. Circus Voltaire. And one of my favorites. I like Circus Voltaire. Yeah, it's Circus Voltaire. And then also, wait, you're missing one more. Episode one, yeah. Episode one. Oh, okay. Well, you did four then. Episode one. It's episode one. He did four. He did four good games. No, he didn't do four good games. No. No? You don't think they're all good? No. Okay. Which one of those four is bad? Episode one is clearly his best pin. No. No, that is the worst. No. Out of the regular conventional pinball machines, Tails is just the weakest rules It's the weakest rules Okay The shots are just I think theater magic is more You know, fun Circus Voltaire is just a fucking Crap shoot to keep running If you have it on location Oh, see, you're taking it from that perspective Of course Wait a second, hold on Manufacturer back in the 90s was trying to make money That's true And trying to sell product to customers who actually were trying to put it on location. Machines would not stay on location if they did not work. I like Circus Voltaire. Enough said. And you can still get those back then in the 2000, 2001 era for $1,900 at closeouts. Or $99,000. Really? Even Circus Voltaire? Yeah. I hate you. You got it too late, bro. Yeah, you just got it way too fucking late. Way too fucking late. All right. But they did, DPX did reach the milestone 1.0 of the ALICE code. Okay, everybody. Wow. Wow. That's like 200,000 people got all giddy about this. How many people just crashed their car while listening to this on their way to work? I know they had major topper issues trying to get the toppers done, issues with vendors. That's the other thing. There's lots of toppers they have to actually ship out that they weren't ready to actually put on the game. So, yeah, hopefully they learned some stuff. But being that they picked another Papaduke game, I don't think they learned anything. I don't think they learned anything. No, I don't get it. I wonder if they fixed the ramp in Raza. Remember they had all those, like, issues where the ramp was too small? I think there's more than the ramp needs to be fixed. Oh, there's a lot more. We get the pin bar. That's what I want, brother. That's just the pin bar. honestly they should just do Circus Voltaire instead exactly the problem is you watch one of these other companies want the Circus Voltaire well there's only two there's Chicago Gaming and then there's Pedretti Pedretti, hey what the fuck there we go speaking of Pedretti oh good segue see I am awesome at this fucking job of podcasting Pedretti announced they have Where is it here? They are now going to partner with Othrio Games. It sounds like one of those medications you see on commercials when you're watching the Internet, and it says you may have some reactions if you have swelling of the proximal area. You will have. Anal bleeding. And you will have. What kind of medication are you guys taking? Othrio. I'm taking Tylenol, which apparently gives you autism. Oh, yes. Yes, exactly. We got a little frail. But, all right. So, Spidretti's partnering with this company. You might be like, who the hell are they? Well, they were started by, and I'm reading this from NAP. Hi, NAP. Started by Sam Zier, a longtime veteran of the coin-op industry. He worked at Capcom, Pinball, Konami, Midway, Incredible Technologies, and Playmecang. Sam. But here's the important part. They have been doing the software for Chicago Gaming Company's remakes, including the animations for Attack from Mars and Medieval Madness, which, if you remember those, they are incredible. They are good. I think the animations for Attack from Mars especially are awesome. I'd love to have those animations in an original Attack from Mars. It would be nice. This is good for Pedretti. Oh, no, definitely. Now, I wonder if they're still going to do stuff for Chicago Gaming. Is it just an added job role for this company? Yeah, it doesn't say it. Yeah, exactly. That's what I'm assuming. It's an added job role for that now. And both should look more into the modern spectrum. And the next. I mean, it's like allocation of hours, right? Like if they have enough manpower. Yeah, of course. And how much, you know, you have, you know, if you're expanding your business and hey, now we can take you on to guess what? Oh, my. What the fuck? Take me on. I'll be gone in a day or two. Me. Take on me. In a day or two. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right. What else? In their next game, it was rumored to be Tales of the Arabian Nights, but it looks like it might actually be Theater of Magic. Yeah. Either way. Either way. Guess what? It's Papaduke again. You can't beat the power of Papaduke. All Papaduke all the time. I don't know what people's obsession is. Go get a new designer. He's the most famous Canadian designer ever. He is. Actually, name another Canadian designer. The guy from Pinball Adventures. He did Pinball Adventures. There you go. A Snoo-Biggies Canadian. Oh, God. What happened with them? Have we heard anything from them since the whole Elements Expo debacle where the game was falling apart at Expo? Have we heard a single thing? That was like, what, four years ago? Pinball Adventure. I don't even think about it. Andrew McBain. There's so many new startups in the last three years that are just doing stunning work that don't even waste your time. McBain. Wait a minute, what about McBain? No, the name of the guy. His name was Andrew McBain. I thought it was Rainier Wolfcastle. No, Andrew McBain was team leader and concept designer for Pinball Adventures. I'm here to lead, not to read. Not to read. Just love the name, Rainier Wolf Castle. Thank you, Simpsons. Maybe that'll be the next remaster. No, probably not. That'd be great. That'd be awesome. Okay. So I have here the next remaster, the rumored remasters. I've heard ACDC, and I've heard KISS now. Nap said it's like 100% KISS. It's KISS. Okay, now, Bruce is saying it's Kiss. It's Kiss. How do you know it's Kiss, Bruce? It's got to be ACDC, the better name. If you know me and you've known my picks all along, who has been right with Stern? Yes, but you supposedly have some kind of source on this one. I have sources. That's one of my sources who said, they came with a joke saying, how much money can I make off this one thing? Oh, that's amazing. Yes, and so I'm going to make a ton of money. right now. I have a question. Yes. I'm Jesus Simmons of KISS and I want to know whose phone is constantly going off during our podcast. It's probably mine. Oh, turn that off. I can literally hear the vibration. I keep looking at my own phone thinking it's my phone. Yeah. The camera's off. Hold on, give me two seconds. Uh-oh. His whole mic goes out. It's his AI girlfriend constantly. Oh, yes. Hi, I'm Paulina. No, his AI girlfriend is Beth because of his kiss. His love of kiss. I'm going to see if it was that. What's the lady's name in the ACDC? Lucy. I want to talk about ACDC and Kiss and what we think could be done to improve them if they're going to be the next remaster. Animations for Kiss will be live show. I wanted to start a little trivia with Kiss. Kiss just had one release Instead of the normal Pro, Premium, and LE. It might have had some multiple runs, but they only had those versions. No, they did not. You're wrong on this, sir. Am I wrong? Yes, and we've even talked about this. Oh, we have? Yes. Correct me. Remember on the KISS website, they had all four members trying the machine, and they had their own special. Yeah, they had their own. I'm talking about from Stern. Oh, no, I'm talking about, hey, you're talking about all the goodness in KISS, There was probably like one loss or like ten loss. No, it was ten. Okay. You wanted the best. You spent the best. You spent the best. Wheel them out, boys. Wait a minute. Was Ace Frehley one of the – no, he had the other two guys. No, it was Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. Yeah, there you go. Okay. See, how many people know that? So for ACDC, how many different versions do you think they had? Oh, man. nine nine what they had nine different versions i'm counting each different for so first pro we have angus face and regular play well we have 2012 pro which is incandescence no swinging bell then we have two different le's yes we have the back and black limited edition which only $300 back when Stern actually knew what LE meant. Yes, limited. And they had the Let There Be Rock edition, which only was $200. $200? $200. And then they had the premium. The premium and LE suffered from the hazy, cloudy window due to what? Was that the clear coat they did or something? Yes. I remember that. Well, Ron's still remembering that. Yeah, I still remember that because I have that. I got the second one. It was non-cloudy. Wasn't it that you couldn't replace the window at all? Yeah, you can. It's an insert. Yeah. But on the newer ones, you can. Yeah, that's true. They changed that. So then, in 2013, we got the Lucy Premium. People complained about the art, so we gave you the TNA artwork, which is basically just the Translight. And I think they added, it says ACDC on the lower play field on those. Yes. Like the logo. I think that's the only difference. And plastics. And plastics. Oh, there's plastics. There was different plastics. Okay. Then in 2014, we had the Pro LED version, which basically is the Pro, but with LEDs instead of incandescents. Yes. And a swinging bell. Yep. And the new, even though Spike was still in the future, the Spike backbox, i.e. the metal backbox with the tilted speaker panel. Okay. So that was that. Then. I'll try to get these in perfect order here. Then in, yeah, okay, 2017, we got the premium vault edition. Back when the vault meant something different than it means now. Yeah. And that edition doesn't have the drummer on it. Yes. Because he was removed because he tried to hire someone to have someone killed. Killed, yes. What? So he was pulled from the artwork. The funny thing is eventually he got off somehow. Yeah. And he actually played. He was on ACDC's last album and their last music video they did. He's on it. But he has not toured with them since. I think they've had it with him. Because they've had multiple. You're good enough to play on our album, but you're not good enough to tour with us Because we don't know if you're going to go out and buy a gun. Well, no, or hire someone. So he didn't want to do it himself. That was the Premium Vault Edition. Then we have the Lucy Vault Edition, which is a premium. Yes, we do. In 2018. And then we had the Angus. No, in 2017, they also had the Pro Vault Edition. Yes. And then they had the next year the Lucy vault edition. Jesus Christ. But then they did the side art for that one, right, with the Lucy. Is there a side? I think the side art is on all of them. I forgot about that. You're right. The cabinet was different. And then the Angus face. Oh, they changed the Angus face. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, because he had the thing. The lips thing that everybody was like, why? I was like, oh, what the fuck is that? And so we put the band in the middle. Yeah, so there's a lot of versions. You want to hear something funny about logos completely unrelated to pinball? Do I? My company, they're doing some kind of tie-in to the Buffalo Bills because we have buffalo branches at the credit union I work for. So they had our logo, but it's shaped like the Buffalo Bills logo. But I didn't realize the buffalo on the Buffalo Bills logo has a penis. Like, the thing is literally kind of coming out, and we've gotten complaints about the logo. It's coming out, Dunstan. I want the world to know. Buffalo's got a penis on their logo. I mean, I'm looking at it, and it's like, yeah. It's like, yeah, I kind of noticed that. It's this thing hanging down, and I mean, yeah, I'm surprised that's there. Penis on the logo. I want the world to know. This logo's got a penis on it. Yeah, we got complaints from members about this logo, because we had it on our main page. I've got to see if we have it on our main page or not. I've got to look at it. Have we changed it or not? Damn it. It's not on the front page. I wonder if it would be under community. I don't know where it is. I don't know where it is. But I saw the picture, and it's like, yeah, that looks like a dick. It does. It looks like a dick. I see one every day. A little one. It's his belly button. A hairy one. A hairy dick. Okay. It's his belly button. Maybe it's AI. They just put a third leg. Yeah. A fifth leg. It's just really short. Well, the older one looks like more of a peni than the newer logo. Yeah, that's what the Buffalo fans were telling me. Like the original logo is even more. Yeah. Okay. I just thought that was funny. I'm going to ask right now. Does it have a penis? Let's see. Now the algorithm is going to know. Oh, A.I. is telling us. Wait, it's the only sports logo with outline of genitals. Go, Puppet. Name the early 80s Williams game that actually has a dick on the back glass. oh um what is it viper no not viper no it's not a williams game that's not a way oh yeah that's right and i'm not talking about quicksilver where you're you know it looks like a penis like no an actual guy's dick i've asked this before it's surprisingly i've left this uh out of my out of my memory i'll give you a clue i'll give you a fruit item banana Is it like the shape of a dick? No. Where's bananas as far as pinball goes? Where does that mean? Think. Banana flippers. Yeah. What games have banana flippers? Just go fever? Yeah. That's one, but it's the other one. The wizard one. Isn't there a wizard one? This is the worst trivia. This is, Dr. John, this is terrible trivia. Come on, there's only two of them that had the banana flippers from the factory. They're both Barry Osler games. You got the one, you just need the other one. Who's this Barry Osler guy? He would sound like a great designer. Famous designer. I've got to get a copy. Everyone's just yelling at it right now. It's Time Warp, ladies and gentlemen. Ah, Time Warp. It's got the Da Vinci guy on it. Oh, that doesn't count? That's art. His dick is right there, so it counts. So, Buffalo Bills, good. Congratulations on having a correct, anatomically. An anatomically correct logo. Your Buffalo has a dick. Maybe that's why they haven't won. If they get rid of the dick, they could finally win the Super Bowl. What do you think? Yeah. Okay. Okay, CDC, what would you do to improve it? Different art. Yeah. You know, get rid of the, because that has full Photoshop art. I'm curious what they would do with the drummer at this point. He hasn't had no drummer. With a sniper rifle. Make a mode for him. He's trying to shoot his enemies. Yeah. Oh, God. And he's paying off the guy with $500 bills. I really should know his name, being I'm a big. Yeah, you are. I think it's Phil Rudd. Yeah, it is Phil Rudd. Phil Rudd, yes, yes. What else? I mean, you're going to have full LCD animations of the band live, hopefully pick older stuff so he doesn't look ancient. Like this last tour I've seen. Oh, he looked like death. Clearly it's better play field hours. Yes, yes. Like I said, when they're slowing down Thunderstruck so he can play it and he still can't play it right, it's time to move on. It really is. I love those guys. They're my favorite band, but you've got to move on, man. Brian Johnson used to be in good shape, man. Remember, he used to have pretty good guns. He would swing from the bell thing way up in the air, which you've got to have at least some strength to do. Now his legs are just skinnier than mine. If he puts his arms up, the fucking pants fall down. Yeah. Grandpa Simpson. Yes, yes. If they need to stop, please stop. They're doing a thing where they have replacement members that are younger to help them out. Yeah. Anything with the play field as far as make certain shots better? What were issues with the original ACDC? The ball getting stuck behind the bell once in a while. Well, the lightning bolts. Do you remember? The original Pro lightning bolts were clear plastic and they had lights behind them, but they kept getting hit with air balls and breaking. So they put a metal backing, which made it so the light doesn't shine through at all. Didn't the Premium LE have the dancing Angus? They all have the dancing Angus. Did they? Well, does the Pro have the dancing Angus? The Premium LE has the dancing Angus. They all have the dancing Angus. Yeah, so that's got to go, right? They're not going to keep that thing. Why not? Dancing Angus is cool. Besides, mine's broken. It's way got broken off. What about the cannon? Are they going to make the cannon fancier? Yeah, there's something they can do. Right? Because it was such a... That was the mod that everybody did, making the cannon actually look like a cannon. There's something you could do. Let's see. Yeah! Yes, the Let There Be Rock limited edition is at Rock Fantasy, I believe. Yeah! Yes, okay. And then they got, like, now they've got those LEDs that do the fire, right? Steve Ritchie did that on... Well, it's on that game. There's fire animations in the back. But isn't it just blinking lights? Now they've got the LEDs that look like flames. They're LEDs. That was one of their first full LED games was ACDC. I don't think it was their first, but, I mean, it had... Like on Black Knight, they got the... It looks like fire. I know because ACDC, the premium, it's totally weird in the backbox. Like the GI connector isn't even populated. The GI board, it's actually underneath the play field. Yep. And it's like three different strings. It's like, what is it, red, blue, and white. I don't know if they have any other games that have this set up. Cool. I just know that because I have one. And it was just weird. I'm like, wait a minute. The GI connector's not even there. What the hell? That's when they were starting to use the LEDs, and they're still on the old SAM system, so they had to, like, use extra boards and all this shit, you know, before they went to Spike. Would you change anything code-wise? That's another Lyman game. Well, OIMania is not in there. Supposedly that was the thing that was going to be in there. Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi. have at least one do something where both playfields are active. Yeah, I like that. Because I don't believe there's any mode or anything in that game where the upper and lower playfields are active at the same time. And to me, any game that has two playfields like that, there needs to be some mode, something where they're both active. Has to be. And they didn't do that with that one. Unless someone's going to tell me, an encore does it. Like, well, I've never been a fucking encore. Yeah, go scratch. It's so fucking hard. I'm never going to see Encore. Even if Ron takes off the glass, he's never going to see it. Well, yeah, if I take off the glass. Oh, more songs? Yeah, that'd be cool. And how would that affect the rule base? Because everything is based around the songs. So to get to Encore, you have to get through all the songs. So how would that work? Would they add more of the Elwynn-esque, like collecting ramps and collecting spinners and collecting. Aren't there? Isn't there like Canon Chaos or Canon Fodder? All these inserts that actually don't do anything, I thought. That were never coded. I thought there was. So there you go. Make them so they're actually coded. What? Complete coding? Stop it! Complete coding. Alright, let's move on to KISS. I don't know what you could do to improve KISS. Oh, no, no. You can improve KISS. We take out the two other insignificant guys and just make it me and Paul. Very acceptable, very happy. I think there needs to be another Gene Simmons head on the other side of the playroom. Yes. I want to spit twice instead of once. Yeah. I don't know. Most people like the art, even though I think a lot of it's, like, I believe the Translight is taken, and they had to take elements of their existing art palette or some shit. It's just like copying and pasting it on there. Maybe the right ramp not quite as hard. Oh, yeah, that right ramp. That's pretty hard. Make Gene more reliable. Yes. So he doesn't keep going down the middle. I always try to be more reliable in my old age. Because he does. Their solution for it going down the middle is just make it a ball saver. Yeah, which is fair. Which is kind of the default. Which wasn't in there originally. I know, because I was at the launch party, and boy, we had fun with that. Oh, I can imagine. It didn't last. It broke down before the end of the launch party, so we finished it on the old KISS. You own it the best, you got the best. Yes, which I thought was awesome. It's like, hey, we're still finishing on KISS. Did the backbox magnet thing keep working forever? Oh, yeah, that one's actually the love gun. Yeah, I've never heard of that, like, having issues. That's insane! Love good! My Paul Stanley. Rules-wise, I mean, people seem to like the last iterations of that. Yeah, like, long-standing. Yeah, I think it's pretty good. Like, so many years after, right? Yeah. But the cities still don't do anything or something? Or they never said they were going to do anything. No, he added the cities, but I don't know if the scoring is anything. Yeah, everyone assumed the cities were going to do something. I would say most of that might be with code. I mean, I think people liked the play field art. Oh, yeah. I don't think people thought that was good. I don't even like KISS, and I can think it's awesome. Wait a minute. Why don't you like it? Did you realize that Rush originally toured with us? That's where they learned everything. They learned it from KISS. Sorry. It's true. They did tour with KISS. Yes, they did. Yes. I like how the guys in Rush They got along with the Not Paul and Gene but the other two guys Because they just smoke weed with them There you go Telling me people don't like Gene Simmons That's outrageous That's bullshit Everyone loves Gene Simmons At least I tell it like it is Rock is dead Kiss lives forever Kissonline.com Sorry What else How about Max What are the mechs It got the Starman spinny bounce around drop target thing next to the pop bumpers right Yeah. That's fine. It's kind of boring, but it's fine. I'm just trying to think what you do for a mech. Actual skill shot? Because the whole thing, you plunge it and it just goes around the back. Like, it can't fall into anything, and it just goes into pop-upers. So, yeah. The skill is to get it through the pop-upers without touching any of the pop-upers. I mean, plus you have Borg still there, so he can tweak yet another one of his games. I wonder if he's wondering, like, man, am I ever going to get any time off? I mean, Jesus Christ. What about the Borg, what about the bouncing that you get off that friggin' metal post on, what is it, the left side? the metal post on the in lane, out lane, where you get borgged all the time. Oh, so do what he did with Metallica and just eliminate the borgged? Yeah. So to basically make it easier? Exactly. Was KISS considered a tougher game? I think it was. The code hurt it a lot, yes. Yeah, but I think it doesn't play necessarily that easy. No. It's not one of those play forever games. If you get a run on it, you can blow it up. But it's, you know, I honestly, it's a long playing game in tournaments, I feel. Oh, okay. It's because everybody that you play with are actually really good players. Yeah, yeah. You got to take a typical tournament. I'm thinking it doesn't play overly long. All right. So those are the two rumored games for the next remaster. And what we think could be improved. Next, I have a note here, because I'm sure Bruce wants to talk about this. Stomp! Stomp! Which will mean nothing to most of our listeners as they're not in the Northeast, but for those in the Northeast. You want to play a very engaging pinball experience at the Rochester Pinball Collective. Yes, he is. You should come out to stomp. That's right. Stomp at the Rochester Pinball Collective at 349 West Commercial Street, East Rochester, New York. Yes, stomp tickets should go on sale the 15th. We're actually going to have a... The 15th of what? January. So four days from now. Okay, what are the actual dates for Stomp? The dates for Stomp, I'm pulling up the calendar right now. Because I had to change my dates because you changed it. So I had days off. This is outrageous. Yes. I think it's the 14th through the 17th of May. Yep. And Mr. Dennis, Canadians are welcome. Yes, Canadians are welcome. But it is the weekend of Yagpin. So most Canadians do go out to Yagpin. So you could be one of the few Canadians there. You'd be like royalty. Yes. Oh, yes. No, no, no. The boycott continues, my friend. The travel boycott continues. Jesus Christ. Oh, God. And what has that gotten you? Look at us. We're taking over the world, baby. We're taking over the world. I noticed Keolis was in Arizona, so he's not boycotting anything. Nope, he's not boycotting. See, he's a real true friend of the Americans. With a thumb up. So why should I play and stop, Bruce? Why is it so great? Because we're going to have 80 games you have on location. Second biggest location in New York State. Whoa. Ah. We will have a main tournament. I think we're going to have a, what else, two sub-tournaments and a pre-tournament. Wait a minute, two sub-tournaments in a pre-tournament? Are they fucking sub-terranean? Are they under the ground? Yes, they are. You've got to go downstairs. You've got to go downstairs in a sub-tournament. You've got to go downstairs. Hold on, let me pull up Zach's e-mail for me. I've never heard sub-tournament before. I've heard pre-tournament, which is impossible. Because pre of what? If it's a tournament, it's a tournament. It's a pre of what? It's a pre-tournament of another tournament? Another tournament of pre-ness. Fucking pre-shit. I hate that shit I love that tell me how you feel we do it every time to Ron and Ron just starts twitching get ready to pre-suck oh well we know that hold on I'm looking for that it's like when I watch football and you realize all these guys get brain damage every play and then whenever they do something good they all headbutt each other with their helmets and I'm like wow that's pretty stupid yeah I can't find Phil good job Good job. Good job. Yep. Set all this up for you. Let's just put it on a tee. Put it on a tee. Put it on the other podcast. Put it on a tee and just, like, swing and a miss. Yep. Because we and Zach talk so many fucking times during the fucking week. You mean our famous Zach? The Zach and the Slamtail podcast? Hold on. There's one other place I can look. Hold on. One other place you can look, ladies and gentlemen. Doot, doot, doot. Keep on talking, boys and girls. I'm talking. I keep talking. I know you're talking. Trust me. I hear it. Oh, my God. The old, the dead air. I can keep talking about football. Like, I was watching the playoffs games, and I saw no less than 10 different people get, like, carted off. Okay, so the admission is $135. That covers admission to RPC on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And we will have tournaments of the women's tournament, main tournament, and the pre-tournament, which Ron always likes. Is there a post-tournament? And there's a classic Target match play. Oh. Ha, ha, ha. Ooh. Classics. I think I won the pre-tournament once. Yes. But, uh. And, uh. Yep. When is the Target match play thing? Which day? Classics. Yeah, which day? I don't know. I'm looking right now. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Because if you're going to a Target, it's probably going to be just one day. And I'm looking once. Exciting, ladies and gentlemen. You just need the prep work that goes into this. Well, Saturday. Saturday. Saturday. Saturday, 9 to 9.30, sign in, 9.30. I don't know. I can't tell. Zach has so many yellow lines. All right, so it's all Zach's fault. It's always Zach's fault. Well, it's not until, like, I mean, fucking May. So, yeah, we won't harp on this, but be prepared better next time. The women's will be a hybrid best game. Uh-huh. Zach just throws in so much shit. It's like, holy fuckalaro. Holy fuckalaro. Holy fuckalaro. Wow. It's called details. Details. Well. I'm just the person that goes, I just turn the wrench. Well, we probably mess that way. And you will get to see Ron and Bruce together. Yes. Together. Probably three or four times in the year you'll see us together. How's the foot? How's the foot doing? I saw a picture of it. It's not pretty. Oh, you like that? No, it's not. It's pretty nasty, yeah. It's pretty nasty, eh? I'm walking around on the boot. I'm walking around. What's a boot? The boot. A boot. Have you been out with the boot? I've been out with the boots, yes, I have. So that means you can come to the Rochester Pinball Collective and enjoy everything, Ron. Like the IFPA States. Yes. The state finals, which will be happening next weekend. Next weekend. Which, unless you qualified, you can't play in it anyway. But there are other events. I notice you're doing a pre-tournament. Oh, God. I know. I don't think it was. It was something. It was a post-tournament. It was something that you're doing some kind of qualifying that takes place over multiple days. Yes, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And then Saturday, final start, which tells me they don't finish on Saturday, so it's going to go into Sunday. Yeah. And we'll have the Sunday for the women's tournament there also, so we'll be hosting states at the Rochester Pinball Collective. So the 99% of the people qualified from New York City will all have to travel to Rochester to go to this thing? You'd be surprised. There's some Upstaters in there, too. Okay, Zach? Yep. Okay. Yep. Ron. Clearly Ron. Nope, no Ron. Are you sure? Yes, I'm positive. I mean, I looked at the list. It's like almost entirely New York City. I think there was one or two Upstaters that was in. There's, what's his name? Hold on. I'm going to get the list. Oh, get the list? Yeah, since you weren't prepared this time. I wasn't prepared. Turn him in chalk. I mean, yeah, so everyone's fast forwarding anyway. Yeah, where is it now? Hold on. Let's see if I can find it before him. I'll tell you what I'm doing. I'm going to the IFPA site. You see that I'm clicking on NACS. Yep. And it's taking forever to load. Come on, guys. It is taking forever to load. Put some more money into this site, goddammit. What the hell? Jesus. Should be $1.25. Yeah, where's that dollar going, bro? New York. Let's see. Here we go. I'm right. We got New York City. He says North Carolina, but he's in New York City. He's in, yeah, he's in Chicago, so he won't be there. Yeah, that event we had at the Masters at RPC, that screwed up everything for this. Pete Indisk. Greg Lapa. And Dick. Andy Cushman. Yeah, but where are they? They're out of upstate Newark. Yeah, but where are they in the list? Oh, there's seven. Andy's 11th. Greg Lapp is 12th. Petey and Discus, 24th. Okay, where are you getting this list? I'm looking at the, is there an actual list of people? Yes. Oh, where is that? That is under registration for the states. Oh. Hey, who qualified? No. Registration status. Okay, let's see. What do we got? Well, it says not attending, not attending, not attending. And on the left is the number, 6, 7, 8, 9. So there's your – Oh, yeah, I count one. Zach. Zach. Andy's two, which is 11th. Greg Lapid's 12th, which is three. And Pete and Disc, number four. And isn't it – I think you're saying his name right. And Dick. Wrong. Yes. So four. Four out of – So 21 of the 24 players are all from New York City. But they don't have to go to Rochester. Yep. That's the way it should be. Don't force them to go. Force. Is there, like, transit that you can take? Yeah, it's called a plane. We have these up in the southern area. I was all for it during the whole Super League era where they just literally lied and made up shit. Yes. Yeah, but, I mean, that's not the case anymore. So it seems crazy to have it that far away from where 95% of the player base is. Yep. I don't believe I'm saying that. One of the big tournaments they come up and see, look, the person who is the number one qualifier is Alex Kelly. And guess what? At Stomp, oh, look, he was first place and he gained 110 points. So one-fifth of his points total came from one tournament up in Rochester. Oh, so that does not matter. I'm sensing there's some sort of rivalry between New York City and upstate New York. No, I'm just stating that there's, you know. There's no rivalry. No. You were here for the dark days, David. The dark days. The dark days were basically. The days of the empire. They ran something called Super League in New York City where they literally just made fucking players up that didn't exist to maximize whoppers. So, like, every single person who qualified for states was from New York City. Like, no one else could compete at all. So, as I said, Alex Kelly, who is the number one qualifier, his point total of 110 points from Stomp last year beats any other tournament played in New York City by, oh, by a lot. 73 points was the biggest point total he could earn for New York City. Okay. So, and the Beast, he made more points being 15th. So you're saying Whopper-Horing is just so powerful it doesn't matter where it is? Yep. Okay. So, you know, biggest few points he got was in upstate New York. Well, well, well. Well, well, well. All right. Let's start. Stop talking about IFBA State. And let's go on to David's games. He's got some games for us. I do. And if you remember, last January, we had likely or unlikely, where we made a bunch of predictions. And I don't even remember what any of them were. I don't know anything. This is going to be great. This is going to be great to see how good or bad we did. Yes. It's great. I've got all the totals. I'm going to do just a quick review. Okay. Okay, yes. Give us the questions that we were asked. Yeah, exactly. So I'll break it down for everybody. And then I will reveal the winner. Ooh. And I know, because we're all about competition. What's this word about? About. Okay, thank you. I have to make my mouth look really wide. Hold on, I need to go to the washroom. I'll be right back. Okay, me too. Great break. Oh, he's going. I was kidding. Yes. That was David Dennis of the world-famous Silver Bowl Chronicles. Sorry, you've got to take that out now. No, I got the added hammer. Do what I want. Notice how I've never been invited on their show. See how this works? We don't have guests on that show. Exactly. I don't think we've ever had. No, we've never had a guest. We've had people ask to be on, and it's like we don't really do it that way. See, so we're letting this guy mooch in on our show twice. Muccia. Twice? Maybe once a year. Yes. We're going to call him Mini the Muccia. Mini the Muccia. Oh, boy. I love Cab Calloway. Oh. Howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy. Howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy. I see him every year here. You know why? Why? Saratoga. Oh. He was a huge, he was like for probably 60 years, like every year he would be at Saratoga. They don't show. Well, howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy, howdy. Saratoga for those that's horse racing. Thoroughly thoroughbred. Saratoga, thoroughly thoroughbred. How can he feel the dead air? Well, he's taking a pee. Oh, he's taking a pee, yeah. Maybe we'll hear the toilet go, too. Best game of the toilet. What? Simpsons. Simpsons has a toilet? No, no, no. It's a couch. South Park is the only one I know of. No. What is it called? Austin Powers has a toilet. That's right. Junkyard has a toilet. That's right. Still South Park. Physical toilets. If you want to go in the graphics, Lethal Weapon 3 has a toilet. Why is there toilets on games? I don't know Howdy ho Screw you guys I don't know Son of a bitch So where is he? Is he really? Yeah, he went to the washroom I touch myself I just realized I think you guys were mocking me What? I touch myself I don't want it. You mean you guys weren't going to the washroom? No. Oh, no. Oh, no. That's all right. Damn it. Sorry. Sorry. I've screwed up your edit. I'm so sorry. No, it's fine. We're easy with this. So ask us the questions that you asked us last year. So basically we started with the year in review, okay? And we went, what was your biggest surprise of 2024? Okay. Bruce's biggest surprise was 1.0 code for Pirates of the Caribbean. David's biggest surprise in 2024, Alice in Wonderland's art package. Ron's was the Metallica remaster. Biggest letdown. That can't come in there. Yeah. Biggest letdown was John Wick for Ron and Bruce. And Pulp Fiction delays, that was my biggest letdown. The biggest step up, who did the biggest step up last year? It was no one for Bruce. That's so Bruce. Barrels of Fun for me. And Turner Pinball's Ninja Eclipse for Ron. Oh, wow. That was a long time ago. You're dating yourself, Ron. The biggest step down was Haggis closing for Bruce. American Pinball for David and Ron. You can get a job now at American Pinball. Pinball media that you enjoyed in 2024 was Nap Arcade for Bruce. David Fix's interview with Loser Kids for me. and the Fox City Pinballs stream and content from Ron. Game of the Year. This was a mix. It was the 70th anniversary Godzilla for Bruce, Barry O's Barbecue Challenge for David Dennis, and Jaws for Ron. He went with the spell out. So that was our year in review. So we'll do the same thing this year. What was our predictions? Do we have any predictions? Well, we'll get to that. We'll get to that. All right. So let's do this year's year in review. What was your biggest surprise, Bruce? Hmm. Dune. Dune. Okay. Dune. Okay. Why was it just because it just... Just the way... The innovation with the mech for... That worm. He liked the worm. Yeah, the worm. The worm is really... I liked the worm, and the worm was really cool. They could re-theme that as the Dennis Rodman game. Yeah. But I think that was a great surprise when people saw that and everything that Met could do. I was like, see, there is some innovation in pinball. Catch the ball, lift it up, drop it down, then bring it down through the core. Yeah, really cool. Yep. So I will give that to them, definitely. I'm going to go with the Winchester Mystery House is the biggest surprise, quite literally. No, it was a surprise, everybody, yeah. Came out of nowhere. And came out of nowhere with, like, a new designer that everybody knows. Came out of nowhere with a great art package. Basically done. Basically done. Amazing. Amazing. So tip of the hat there. What about you, Ron? Biggest surprise of 2015. You took mine. That's what I was going to say. Mystery house. Yep. So you're both out of the same. Yep. Got to. Like, that just came out of nowhere. Like, whoa. I thought it was like, oh, is this a re-theater? Wait a minute, this is a whole new game. Like, what? What's going on? And a whole new designer with... Carl D'Python Anghelo. Yeah, Carl D'Python Anghelo. Like, for him to just sort of be like, oh, hey, by the way, it's done. There's 500 of them. The code's pretty much done. It's got all these cool mechs. Well, the code's not done. He said it was like 20% or whatever. Yeah, he said it was. It seemed like there was a lot of stuff in there for being 20% done, but yeah. He went Elwyn's style. This is Carl we're talking about, so, yeah, they'll probably have, like, 30 wizard modes or something. Okay, biggest letdown of 2025. Go ahead, Ron. You can go first this time. I'm trying to think. Who went out of business? American Pinball? No, they're still in business. They're rehiring. Honestly, I was let down when I went to Expo, and their whole thing they had there was that skee-ball thing. I'm like, seriously? this is it. This is what you did. What do you have against skee-ball? I have nothing against skee-ball. What they did was a skee-ball-like game where you can't even fucking see where the ball goes. What about... That was the stupidest shit ever. Didn't they do Flying Dutchman? You remember that one? I don't remember that one. It was huge. I remember it being massive and it was like you had to pull almost like a plunger and a thing spun around. But I was just like, you throw the ball and it goes up and and you can't see what pocket it actually goes in until it tells you. It's like, who would ever want this? I don't understand. It takes all the fun out of skeeball. So American pinball is your biggest letdown? To be let down, that would mean that I expected something good. And I didn't. I expected it to be, yeah. So I guess I can't really say that. Yeah, I'm trying to think what I was let down with. Like, massively. I've got one. Let me go, and you talk. Yeah, I've got to keep thinking here. Okay, so Jack Danger leaving Stern Pinball's design team. Oh, I'll take that one, too. Yeah, so Jack brought some really unique, weird designs, odd philosophies. Like, you know, people give him crap about the plunge on X-Men or this or that, But he's taking a lot of different risks that I don't think Stern has taken in a long time. Like, all the way back to maybe, like, Jon Norris. He was trying stuff you could only try with Stern for a company that size. Smaller company could not afford to have somebody doing really weird shit that might bomb. Yeah. But I think him leaving is actually... Well, leaving the design. Leaving the design team. you know, at least in this, whatever this full-time wishy-washy capacity is. Bit of a bummer. Yeah. Bit of a bummer. I'll go with that. You're both on that, too. I'll go with that, because I was happy when he was going to design, and then when he's not going to design anymore, like, oh, really? No more nice, weird shit? I got two. I got two. Oh, he's got two. Of course. And it merged together. Merged together. Okay. Yes, they do. First, Cuphead not coming out because it actually looked kind of cool. I thought it actually had a lot of potential. Wait a minute. You've seen Cuphead? Yeah. And second, Dave Fix being fired from American Pinball. Or not rehired, as we'll say. It was a contract rent. Is it because of a lack of material we have now? Yeah. There's no more voices. That's right, baby. I'm gone. I'm gone, baby. So I think American Pinball overall is a big just what the fuck, being a company that was trying to make games to nothing now. Yeah, a shell of its former self. And now we're trying to rehire all these people. We got a nice post out there on the old internet saying, hey, we're ready to rehire all these people. Did it actually say that? Like, what did it say? They had a bunch of people. Oh, yeah. They wanted everything. Hold on. Where's my phone? I had to hide my phone since it was vibrating. Did they offer you a job? No. That's that way you got to check your phone. I would never take one from them because they have to move out there. Really? You wouldn't take a job? I mean, you're the best public guy. The new face of American pinball. The new face of American pinball. Bruce Nightingale. More products are fucking great. Everyone else sucks. Everyone else really sucks. Don't you want to buy American? What are you, a commie? Yeah. That's right. Don't you worry. We're going to bring in John Papadiuk as our designer. Oh, yeah. Yeah. We got this guy who just came out of jail. He's great. Oh, God. Yes. John Papadiuk is back. Don't worry about his previous criminal record. He's great. He designed all these great games. Harper's Steve. Jim Raff-a-roo. Okay. So here. I'm sorry. Oh, holy shit. It has a white van in the back of the play field. It has a side art on it. It's whatever theme you're trying to imagine all this stuff. It's our new designer. How are you doing that? The stuff that does not fly on our podcast. So here's what we're hiring at American Pinball. We're hiring general assemblers, decal department, sub-assembly, Parts Department. Final Testing Q&A and Game Design. Oh, Game Design. Wait a minute. It just says Game Design? Like, does it say what that means? Nope. Okay. Decisions for our factory in Palestine, Illinois. Paid training with great pay. Who the hell's going to train them? I don't know. Interesting. Here's the manual that we have from four games ago. Knock your socks off. Oh, good Lord. They hardly could manufacture those games before. Yeah, I know. All right. So that's my disappointment. All right. Biggest step up in 2025. Who did the biggest step up? Hmm. For me, it's barrels of fun. Yeah. I have to agree with that one. Barrels of fun. Yeah. I guess that they keep coming up. Barrels keeps coming up over and over in my head. I know. Two games in one year. I mean, Jersey Jack couldn't do that for like eight years or whatever it was. And being able to hold that level of confidence, you know what I mean? And I believe people are getting their games. I haven't heard anything about like, oh, go get your games. I haven't heard anything like that. Yeah, like they had maybe some issues, I think, with the worm mechs here or there, but I don't think it was anything widespread. issues with the Worm Mech and the thing that holds the ball on the left side there. Yep. Yeah. But I don't think that those are. I think, you know, I think they got them all resolved. I mean, we crap on Stern for stuff like that pretty hard. We give barrels a bit of a pass. But that being said, it wasn't particularly widespread. I don't always give them a pass, like on that topper. No. It's a conceptual drawing of the topper. And, yes, we need orders by now. Like, no, show me the actual topper. When the picture actually says, like, design may change. Like, oh. Yeah. Okay. What about biggest step down? Stern. Who took a step down? Stern. Wow, really? Yep. Okay. Let's go over the game. Hold on. Explain how it's a step down. Do you think the fall of the empire is a great game? I mean, it's too new. It's too new. It's too new. It's not too new. Do I think it shoots good? Not really. Do I think it shoots horrible? No. I mean, it's fashionable. I think it shoots pretty bad. So here's the thing with Star Wars, right? It's Star Wars. It's Star Wars that's going to sell. Star Wars! Inbound normal folk are going to like it. The other thing is there's not a whole lot of moving bits and pieces in there. And a lot of the bits and pieces that are in there, like the sculpts and all of that stuff, are from, like, shooter knobs and other things. The margin on that pinball machine must be through the roof. Right? Like, they must be making a boatload of money for every one of them. Okay, so hold on. Okay, Walking Dead Remastered. Do you think that was a great wow also? I don't think that was a good choice. I don't think it was ready. Hey, I think the art looks good. Dungeons and Dragons. I think that was fine. Okay, fine. Except these histories still aren't out yet. They're out for every other game. Exactly. It's just they're not wowing it. Like, King Kong, yes, it did very well, I bet you. But you don't hear much about it now. Yeah. Ten months afterwards, you don't hear much about everyone saying. It didn't do good as Jaws. No, exactly. It didn't do good as Jaws. It didn't do good as Godzilla. So do you call that a wow thing? The only thing Stern wowed me on was Metallica Remastered. And that was the previous year. Exactly. And Jaws 50th, we have sparkly playfields. That is your wow moment for a company that is supposedly the 95% or 90% of pinball manufacturing. Okay. Okay, that's a good one. That's a good one. What about you, Ron? I had one in my head, and then it left me. Shit. I'm going to say American pinball. Because they went from, like, making pinball machines and releasing pinball machines to whatever. Yeah. Like, they're not closed. Maybe they should be. But it's just, I didn't think it could get worse. Lingering. It's like zombie. It just sort of is wandering around. And, like, there must be profit in it if the company itself, if the parent company keeps them around and is rehiring. I guarantee there is. I mean, the JJP ownership there, they love pinball. They just love pinball. They want to make magic, right? The American pinball, what do they care? You know what I mean? I won't dogpile an American pinball. I will say, GPX. Okay. Simple reason. You were supposed to have this game out, and you had delays galore, and you got about half of them done. And now you're going to be giving out refunds. If they want them. If they want them. Yes. And it's not because they didn't sell them. It's because they just didn't ship them, right? They didn't follow through like they never do. They made a big hoo-ha about it. Expo 2024, they sold all these. They had the whole year to get them out. Yep. And it didn't happen. Well, half of them happened. Yeah. But, I mean, I don't think that was their intention. It's always an excuse for them. Oh, we had this. Oh, we had this. And some of them could be considered valid, like the tariffs. But guess what? The tariffs didn't come into play until, like, March. Yeah, but a lot of the parts they're manufacturing are in Europe, right? There's still free trade in Europe. They still probably have CPUs and that kind of stuff Yeah I thinking more stuff like you know you say you going to have this and then you had a topper and like oh we have issues with the topper Our vendor sucks Our vendor has failed us and we can send you the topper with the game We've got to send it separately. Then they announce, like, as they are behind with this, oh, we're going to announce our next DPX title, and it's Raza. Like, what? Really? It's deflecting. It's deflecting. Yeah, but what's with you guys and the fucking Papajook thing? Like, what the hell? Maybe it's different in Europe, and he's like the most popular designer in Europe. If we have European listeners, please let us know if John Papadiuk is like God level in Europe or something. Oh, and if Soren's on, Soren, contact me. I have a couple of requests for you for the Black Knight 2000. Soren for code. What about pinball media you enjoyed in 2025? I'm going to go with my last year's pick, Nap Arcade. he's the most reliable he's most consistent except for he doesn't come up here in a couple years get your fucking ass up to Rod Scheffler give him a couple free tokens yeah free tokens for non-token games great but come on up here Nap we love you I think he is the most consistent media presence doesn't cause any drama nope Except for maybe giving bad news to people like, hey, that's the only thing he'll cause drama with. But he's telling everyone consistent, proper news. Not biased, not anything. Just the news. Not opinions. That's what I appreciate about Nat Barcade. Very cool. I did Flip It Out Pinball Podcast. Flip It Out Pinball Podcast made their return this year. with Greg and... Yeah. What's his name? The other guy. What's his name? The other guy. He used to work at Jersey Jack. Oh, you're leaving me out. You're leaving me hanging here. Yep. He gave us our banner, the banner we have for Slam Hill Podcast. He did for us. You can do it. Come on. You can do it. Come on, boy. Come on, you can do it. You're making me panic now. Come on, boy. You can do this. Come on. Ken? Ken Cromwell. Hey. Hey. I'm so sorry, Ken Cromwell. Ken at the letter, flip the letter N out, pinball. I mean, it was a freaking email. Oh, jeez. I feel so bad. I'm such an idiot. Anyway, the return of, they're the best pinball media. I can't even remember who the hosts are. So I think it's refreshing because they're doing, like, topics instead of just, like, the news of the day and things like that, and the banter is really fun. It's good. It's nice to see a new pinball that's not just sort of reading map arcade. Great. Like we do. Yeah. We do. We suck. Game of the year. But it was game of the year last year. Last year. Ooh. I went with Harry Potter. Harry Potter. Yeah. I haven't played Harry Potter, but, I mean, I would say. I played the pothead, and it's pretty damn good. See, I really liked Evil Dead, but I mean, all things considering, you have to say Harry Potter. It's Harry Potter. It's Harry Potter. It's Harry Potter. Good stuff. Good stuff. Congratulations, Jersey Jack Pinball. Congratulations. Don't blow it. With whatever your next game is, which is supposed to be Sonic, right? Yeah. It didn't end up being all those other games that we wanted. It's going to be Sonic. Nope, Sonic. Sonic. Bummer. All right, likely and unlikely. This was the exciting one. I'll reveal the winner here at the end. Would it be likely or unlikely? Because it can't be both. Likely slash unlikely. I know, it might have been a Canadian thing where it means dick. No. Yeah. I know. Okay, so here are some of the questions. We had quite a few questions last year. So, Zombie Yeti would release an art package by Q2. We all said that that was likely, and we were all correct. King Kong. Yeah. Although, partial art package. Yeah. It's got an asterisk. Good enough. Good enough. It's got an asterisk. JJP releases the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I thought that was likely. Bruce also thought that was likely. And Ron thought it was unlikely. And it is as opposed to the movies. Exactly. It has turned out to be the movies. Yeah, I said the movies. Yeah. I'm right. So we keep a score. Am I ahead? We are keeping score. Okay. CGC gets Pulp Fiction out the door by the end of Q3. We all thought that that was unlikely, and it was indeed unlikely. Really? They didn't get Pulp Fiction? Nope, still going. From 2024, right? Wow. By 2025, sorry. Pedretti Gaming releases Tales of the Arabian Nights remake. Bruce and I thought that was likely. We were incorrect. Stern Pinball will sell to new investors We all thought that was unlikely And it was indeed unlikely Jersey Jack would do a cartwheel in 2025 We all thought that was unlikely And we were all correct He has given up the cartwheels I think Yes Kapow Pinball would reappear in 2025 Bruce was unlikely which was correct and I was likely Ron unlikely what's Kapow again? Kapow is the oh okay Deep Root Pinball and Robert Mueller would finally have resolution we thought that that was likely you and I Bruce and Ron was unlikely it was in fact unlikely Unlikely. It's still going on. It's still the final trial or whatever. It still hasn't started. Unbelievable. Not really. It's the legal system. Bruce Nightingale said that it will win a three-strikes tournament at the RPC, the Rochester Pinball Collective. Where is that? It's at 349 West Commercial Street, East Rochester, New York. Suite 2965. What's the bathroom code? Bruce? 3492. There you go. So that's unlikely. We all said unlikely. We were all correct. You did not win a three-strikes tournament. And, in fact, you didn't win anything last year. I did win one thing. I won the launch party for Metallica. Ah, okay. I knew you won something. Yeah. I was all excited. Zach Menny will play in a pinball tournament in 2025. We all said that that was unlikely, and we were all correct. Correct. Woo-hoo! Mm-hmm. Joel Engelberth from Triple Drain and the Flip N Out Pinball Stream will continue to be the second worst person in pinball during 2025 you guys said that that was unlikely I said that that was indeed likely and I was correct well who's number one it's John Poppett John Trudeau oh god Barrels of Fun will announce another pinball machine by Expo of that year in October that I said it was likely Bruce said it was likely and Ron you said unlikely incorrect damn it American Pinball will launch Cuphead by the end of Q2 Bruce, you said unlikely, which was correct. Ron and you and I said it was likely. Incorrect. I love what I'm like. The answer is it will never fucking be released. No. That's right. Let's see here. Continuing with American Pinball, While David Fix will be the executive vice president by the end of 2025, we all said that that was unlikely. And to be honest, I'm pretty sure after we had this episode last year, I think like a week or two after. Yeah, a week or two later, boom. They did not. That's right, baby. That's right. Stern will remaster another title in 2025. We all got that correct with likely. Lonnie D. Ropp will lead game code in 2025. We all said that that was likely. However, it was unlikely. He did not release a pin last year. And the crowd goes wild. Stern will sell all the Beatles pins in 2025. That's unlikely because I still think they have some that they have to make. Yes. they still have someone. I don't know if the contract still is valid anymore. Or if they've got five left or whatever. But I seem to recall that usually when they would sell all of them, they'd send out a, it's all out. There's no more. Or flipping out pinball would be like, that's it. Get your left. That's it. I got two left and that's it. But no, we didn't hear any of that. Dutch pinball will show off Blade Runner by the end of Q1. That was unlikely. And I got that one incorrect. I said it was likely. because I don't actually have sources. No, I think David is in a fantasy world sometimes. Code will be completed for John Wick by Q3. I said that that was likely. So did Ron. We got those incorrect. Bruce, unlikely. Isn't this fun? Isn't this fun? I love that. I see the final scores at the end, though. Bruce, here's one for you. the pinball network will stop operating in 2025. We all said that that was unlikely. We were all incorrect. However, when I asked that question, I knew that that was likely. No. So I took one for the team there. Bruce will finish his Quicksilver build by the end of Q3. And, Bruce, you said that that was likely. Did you finish your build? No, it's right next to me. I've had, I've had, but no, but there is truly, Ron knows my circumstances and yeah, it's not going to be like for a while. Dude, it's the circumstances beyond my control. Yeah, dude, beyond my control. Yeah, it's your vendors, your vendors. No, no, it's life. That's life. That's life. I'm lucky I have time to do this now. So rumors of someone picking up the Mario Brothers license will appear in 2025. Unlikely. Both you and both Bruce and Ron were unlikely. I was likely. I still find it shocking that nobody has, no rumors are around. Nintendo. Nintendo. They're hard to, yeah, they're hard to, they only do things themselves. Yes. Raymond Davidson will win a major in 2025. We all said that that was likely, and he did. Which one was it? Was it Indisc? It wasn't Indisc. No, it wasn't Indisc. I thought he won the Pinmasters, but I didn't know that was a major. He won something. Anyway, if he didn't. If he didn't, he will come in and correct us all. We're all wrong. We're all wrong. So it doesn't affect the scoring. Steven Bowden will end up at Stern in 2025. We all said that that was unlikely. Where did he end up? Did he go back to teaching? He went back to teaching, I think. Good for you, Steve. Elwynn's next game will not have a 180-degree ramp. Bruce, you and I said that that was unlikely. Ron, you said that that was likely. Oh, I won. It will not have. Yeah. Not have. Yeah, King Kong doesn't have a 180-degree ramp. Doesn't it have a 180-degree ramp? Where? No. Where is it? None. Oh, you're right. Yeah. Hello. Hello. Look at that. I thought the one on the... No. Yeah. No. The side ramp ain't a 180-degree ramp. Nope. Yeah. Nope. Good for you. Yeah, baby. Good for you. You're doing well. I'm kicking ass. You're doing well. You're doing well. Yeah. He's doing okay there, guys. He's doing well. He's doing well. Great. Great boy. Okay. All right. So, Ron will qualify for finals at Pentastic. No. I said it was likely. I said unlikely, I'm sure. I said unlikely. And Ron and Bruce said unlikely. I believe in you, Ron. You can do it. Not anymore. Too hard. Stern will lock away Russia into the vault in 2025. I said that that was likely. And you guys said unlikely. I was correct on that one. Dennis Nordman will end up at another company in 25. We all said unlikely, which we were correct. John Borg will release a new design in 25. Bruce and I said unlikely. Ron said likely. He did. Damn. He did a remake at the end of 24. He did Star Wars. Is it a good design now? It's a design. But imagine how good it would have been if it were Indiana Jones. Raiders of the Lost Ark, bro. Okay. Rodney C. will attend Pintastic in 2025. Bruce said unlikely. Ron, you and I said likely. We were incorrect. Yeah. How many more of these are there? Oh, God, there's a ton of them. Even after the whole episode 149.5 episode controversy of the pinball show, Dave will host in 2025. You guys said unlikely. I said likely. I didn't host the pinball show in 2025. They didn't want you back. They didn't want me back. Oh, my God. Stern will re-release Iron Man Vault in 2025. I said likely. I was incorrect, you guys. Unlikely. Oh, no. So, Steve Ritchie will release another three-flipper JJP game in 2025. You said it was unlikely, Bruce. You were correct. Yes. Yeah. I said likely, not thinking that Harry Potter would just be going so long. Dominating it, yeah. Yeah. It probably still will be three-flippers. It just will be this year. Yeah. Stern will increase prices in 2025. We're almost to the end here. We said that was likely, Bruce, you and I. They did not increase prices on anything but frickin' toppers. Man, I'm fucking killing it. You are, yeah. You can see a theme that's going on here. U.S. government tariffs will be referenced as a cause of the price increase. We all said that was likely. We were all wrong. We were all wrong. Stern will launch Spike 3 on Elwynn's next game. We all thought that was likely. And it was indeed unlikely. Dennis Creasel's Watches with Dennis YouTube channel will reach 4,000 subs in 2025. He's at 4.5 thousand subs. So congratulations, Dennis Creasel, on all that YouTube money. We were all right on that one. We were all right with likely. See, we have faith in Dennis. Loser Kid Pinball Podcast will interview Gary Stern in 2025. Bruce, you said that was likely. Ron and I unlikely. They did not. They did not. This is like golf. Lowest number wins. I won then. I'm in third place with 20 incorrect answers. We've got Bruce with 17 incorrect answers and Ron with 12. Congratulations, Ron. Fuck yeah. Good job. So that was likely or unlikely. the recap from last year. So I hope he's got some new questions for us. I got some new ones. Okay. Zombie Yeti will not release an art package in 2026. I say that's unlikely. Unlikely. I think he's going to release an art package this year. I'm just looking at the titles that are coming out. There's three games. There's three games. Yeah, I'll say unlikely. Okay. So you think he will? Yeah. Yeah. With Transformers in there, I can't see him not doing it. Yeah, we'll see. Yeah, he's totally doing Transformers. He's got to be. I have no confirmation. That's just me betting. Yes. JJP announces a new pin in 2026. Likely. I think it's unlikely. Oh, God. I think it's pretty likely, being that Jack said that they will. Yeah, likely. He said that? Yes. All right, well, I'm going to go with likely then. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. He heard unlikely, and that's what you're sticking with. You can't pigeonhole me into this. Because they asked him on the Pinball News podcast, which usually I fast-forward past a lot of the Jack interviews because it's very salesy, But this one was, I would say, listen to it, because he really just blasts CERN. But never actually calling them CERN, of course. But he also blasts indirectly some of the smaller manufacturers saying things like, you know, if you're a licensor who wants to license your product, do you want to license it to a company that's only going to make, like, you know, 500 games? You know, because you only get so much per game. If they represent your brand really well. As opposed to one that will make thousands of games, which is like, wow, okay, throwing shade to some of the smaller guys there. Yeah, but I mean, if you're going to represent the brand to a high collectible, high quality product. But they mentioned at some point, he said he didn't know when, but he figured it was coming. Okay. All right, I guess I'll stick with my eye. Yeah, stick with it. Bastards. CGC will launch a new licensed theme in 2026 unlikely that'll be Halo which is supposedly the one that they're working on a play mechanics that Chicago Gaming will make so will it be done by then I'll say no unlikely no so you think they might announce but not launch it's not going to come out no it's not coming out no nope alright were all unlikely. Mm-hmm. Jack Danger builds a pinball machine play field by the end of Q2. Well, he's already building one. Yeah, yeah. So this started, he started posting this on social media like three days ago after I did this list. Mm-hmm. He will have it completed by the end. Sure. Let's change it to completed. I'll say sure. Yeah. Okay. I say that that's likely as well. Because I don't know if he's doing anything else. Okay. George Gomez will hire or announce his eventual successor in 2026. Ooh. He probably should soon. I'm going to say likely. But I'll say unlikely. Unlikely. So you don't think he will hire or announce? Nope. Kapow will reappear in 2026. Unlikely. I think it's unlikely as well. Very unlikely. Which I'm very disappointed. I think he's very mad about the Harry Potter thing. Yeah, I don't know what they would do. Like, what game would fit for that? Jersey Jack Pinball will spoil Kapow's next title in 2026. Unlikely. Unlikely. Unlikely as well. The Deep Root and Robert Mueller case will find resolution this year. Robert Mueller. Unlikely. I'll say unlikely again, even though I know, I think it's like spring or something. He'll just get another wire and say they need to catch up again, and they'll delay it another six months. Yeah, I'm going to say unlikely, but I think that might be wrong. Remember, there's two trials. This is the one that's the criminal and one's the civil. And it was like on hold until the other one actually starts. But then the other one has to happen. So it's still. Very unlikely. Yeah, very unlikely. He keeps on moving the system. Bruce will win a Stern pinball launch party in 2026. I think that's likely. Unlikely. Unlikely. Wow. You guys have no faith in yourselves. I would say unlikely for myself, too. I've only ever won one. Yeah, I've never won one. So Zach Many of Flip N Out Pinball, Z-A-C-H at Flip N Out Pinball, Isaac.com, will avoid all variations of a Disney vacation this year. Unlikely. I think that's unlikely. I think so. Is it Disney? I think so, yeah. Sir, I'll go with you guys. Does that include cruises, though? It includes cruises, yep. All variations. Okay. Okay. Hold on. Yeah, I'll still say unlikely. Yeah, he's totally in on one of those. Totally, he's got to be. Code for John Wick and X-Men will be completed by Q3. So 1.0. Yeah. I'll say sure. I think it's likely. Unlikely. Unlikely. Okay. Joel Engelbert of the Flip It Out Pinball will get to a wizard mode without the glass off. He will continue to be the second worst person in pinball in 2026. I say that that's likely. Unlikely. Just say unlikely, Bruce. It's your guarantee point. Yes. Okay. Barrels of Fun will announce the Muppets by the end of Q3. I'm saying likely just because I want it to happen. I'm trying to will it into the universe. David Van End has already done a Muppets thing, and everyone construed that to mean that's coming up. But then he said, no, that doesn't mean that's coming up. But he could be trolling. You know? I'll say unlikely. Okay, unlikely. I'm trying to will it into the universe. Yeah, I think everyone wants it, but... Will the Muppet Show coming out this year? Possibly, you know, because the new release of the Muppet Show. I love the Muppet Show. And then they've also gotten rid of the Muppets World at Hollywood Studios in Florida. Yeah. And they've moved it over to the Aerosmith ride. It's going to be Muppets themed. I'm going to say likely. Oh, okay. I think the reason why is it's just before Expo. So they might push it out, you know. I'm a dissenter. Yep. It's a little teaser. All right. Stern will remaster ACDC in 2026. See, I've heard both. Yeah, I've heard both. It will remaster ACDC by the end of Q3. Oh, Q3? No. Unlikely. Not at all. No. Unlikely. I think that shit's pushed away to the end of the year. Or even beginning of next year. They still got to do three cornerstones. I think we're unlikely on that as well. I think I'm going to go with unlikely. Rumors of Stern remastering Ghostbusters in 2027 will appear. Okay. So just rumors will appear this year. I mean, they could totally appear, but that doesn't mean they're doing it at all. Yeah. I think it's likely that there'll be rumors. Yes. What justifies a rumor? So if NAP just has one article that says, yeah, I'm thinking this might happen, that's it? No, we need like some credit. It's not just like one person. I'm going to say unlikely. Unlikely. Unlikely. That you don't think there will be rumors that are correct. Nope, unlikely. I'm going to say likely. Okay. I'll send her on that one. Lonnie D. Ropp will lead his last game code in 2026. How will we know it's his last? Unless he just retires right afterwards and announces it. Lonnie D. Ropp will lead game code in 2026. Lead. Lead a game. Yes. I think it's unlikely. Unlikely. I think he's probably working on Insider Connected or something. I think he's working on it. I think his days of leading, I don't think he's doing that. No. Could be wrong. No. Okay. What was his last lead? James Bond. Oh. Which I know quite well. Shoot this shot seven times and 20 different things happen. Then shoot this shot and 20 different things happen. Stern will hire a new designer in 2026. I think it's likely. They've got to hire somebody. No, they don't. Likely. Who are they hiring? I don't know, but they got rid of Jack. I think that was because there were too many people. He has to be moved. Supposedly Elliot Iseman is doing the Transformers. But that's what I'm saying, right? They got Ford. They got L.A. Yeah. But they got to train these two guys. Eddie. They should. Yeah, they got Eddie. No. I still say no. Unluckily. Should they? Yes. But will they? I don't think so. They don't want another team. False. Yes. Dutch Pinball will show off back to the future by the end of Q2. No. No. That's easier than ever. Holy shit. Unlikely. I say Q2 next year they probably still won't show off. Yeah, in 2027 Q2? Maybe. Bruce will finish his Quicksilver build by the end of Q2. Unlikely. Unlikely. Unlikely. I'm just going to wait for whatever Bruce says because that's better than anyone else. Okay. Someone will pick up the Formula One license in 2026. I feel like that is hot and ready and raring to be made. So I'm going to say unlikely then. Yep, I'm totally unlikely. Unlikely. I'm going to say likely. Somebody's got to pick that license up. I still got to watch the movie, but I hear it's good. It's a good movie, actually. I like the movie. But even just racing in general is hot in the States right now. It is? Yeah, it's huge right now. Nah. It's because you guys are dorks. F1 is more a Europe thing. Even though we have four races in the United States, it's still not popular. Raymond Davidson will come top three at Indisc. 2026. Likely. If you said top four, I might go yes, but top three, no. And Escher's going to be there now, unlikely. He's too old. Sorry, sorry, he's too old. 30 is the new 50. Yeah, he's in his 30s now, so he's basically 70 as far as spending. What's it like under the bus, Raymond? What's it like under the bus? Is it sharp? Greg Bone will shave his beard either normally or ironically into a mustache in 2026. Wait a minute, he already has a mustache. So just go with it. He has a beard right now. Yeah, but he has the mustache too. Yes, but he's going to shave the beard part to leave the mustache. So he can, no. Either as a costume, as a gag. Unlikely. Unlikely. Unlikely. Unless he's going to be Tom Selleck or something. I'm going to say likely. Okay. Maybe he'll become Timmy. Oh, yeah, yeah. So everyone out there, check out Tim Sexton's latest video on YouTube. He does like a year-end review. He puts over certain things and shits over certain things. He shits on Stern a lot. Yeah. But, yeah, he gives kind of a clue about, you know, oh, video game licenses. Oh, that's very interesting. Because the rumor is he's doing Halo. Yeah. What does he think about the coat on John Wick? He's got like the full 70s mustache going. He looks like he's a member of the 1977 New York Yankee team. No, no, no. He is trying to become the spare person on Future Spa. He was going to be a third guy. So he's going to be on the back class? Yeah, the back class. Remember, no more than two reps. Yes, no more than two reps. Okay. Keith Elwin's next game will have only three flippers. He hasn't really said the flipper count on any interview either. No. I'll say three, yeah. I'll say sure. Likely. Unless you think he's going to do two four-flipper games in a row. He's not going to do a two-flipper game. No. There's no way. No. He did three, then he did four. Yeah, I agree. He's back to three. Yeah, he's only done two, four. Well, he's done three four-flipper games. Yes, exactly. But only two of them were four-flippers on the pro. Yeah. Because Jaws, of course, doesn't have that extra flipper. Stern will lock away X-Men in the vault in 2027. That would suck to do it that early. I'd say unlikely I think it's unlikely as well but I think there's a chance I mean you're almost like admitting defeat there like yeah this didn't work out well we already admitted defeat with some of the others so look at that Foo Fighters that was surprising that got a couple years though yeah that would actually be almost like two years It came out in December Mark Ritchie will end up with a new pin in 2026. Unlikely. Well, unlikely because he supposedly would be the one building Halo. I already said it's not coming out this year. I would say unlikely. Unlikely. Unlikely. I say likely. I like the dissension. I'm going to take... Because the thing is, if I'm going to win this... Yeah, the dissension, you're either going to just be spectacular victory or just horrible. Crushing defeat. Ron will qualify... Top... Unlikely. Fuck you. Asshole. I didn't even say that before yet. That was fucking awesome. I'm like, Ron will, unlikely. It could have been like he will be top four in his local league, you see. But it's totally unlikely. Ron will qualify top 25 at Pintastic. Oh, God, no. Unlikely. Unlikely, totally. Unlikely. It's a strange question about making the playoffs. What about top 30? You don't think you'd be the top? Unlikely. No. Not in a card-based format. If I try it a couple times, I'm not even close. I'm not going to sit there and just pound money into it. I don't do that anymore. Like, no. It's not worth it. We're all unlikely. Especially with the queue, you've got to wait forever to get on games. Like, no. Yeah. John Borg will not release a new design in 2026. I think that that's likely. You know, that might be likely because he did take a vacation finally. If he is doing Kiss, like Bruce says, then they wouldn't like that. It's unlikely. I'll say unlikely. Okay. You think he's going to release his... Yeah, unlikely he's going to release a game. Yeah, unlikely release. A new game. A new game. Okay. A new game. Maybe. So, I will co-host the pinball show in 2026 because they're suffering from low ratings and need a bump. I think I have better odds. Yeah. I'll say unlikely. Okay, I say unlikely. We're all unlikely across the board. I mean, they didn't invite you back after that debacle. I think they would actually, I think you would bring me back more, because he said we got a lot of controversy with me. A lot of controversy with Bruce. Steve Ritchie will release another three-flipper game with a side ramp by Q3. Yes. Yes. Sonic. Okay. And I'll figure it's got to have a side ramp. Come on. He's got all the budget now, man. He's got at least three flippers on everything. That's right. Okay. Stern will increase its prices in 26? Yes. I'm sorry. I was likely on that last one. Yes, likely. I think I do. I'll be the dissenter. I'll say I'm likely. The cost of aluminum. Aluminum, aluminum, aluminum. Aluminium. Aluminium. Don't forget your Canadian wood. Yeah. Softwood lumber. Big deal in my province. Dennis Creasel's Watches with Dennis YouTube channel will pass 5.5 thousand subs. So he's got to get a thousand more. Yes. In one year. In one year. I think it's likely. That's three per day. I'll say unlikely. I'm going to say unlikely too. Do you hear that, Dennis? Sorry, a thousand people is hard. Lizzie, it was a hard-hitting controversy. Like, this watch should have never been made. And look, I have one. Maybe he could do a live stream with him walking through the streets of Manhattan in pajamas. God, no. Stirring up anger. How about Loser Kid Pinball Podcast? We'll interview Keith Elwin in 2026. 100% likely. 100% likely. Alright, that's it everybody. I think if you said they didn't, then you know. Then it would be 100% unlikely there. Yeah, I know, but you never know. There we go. That is likely or unlikely for 2026. I can't wait to win again. Wow. I mean, it wasn't close, you've got to admit. It wasn't even close. But the first one I just destroyed. Alright, you have the foresight. You are clairvoyant. He's got the foreskin. All right. He's definitely got the foreskin. Foreskin. We both thought of the foreskin at the same time. Wow. That's that awesome chemistry, you know. It is. All right. You go right to the worst thing you can think of in two seconds. You guys are just tip to tip all the time. Yes, we are. We're docking. We're docking. Two more things. Repairs in the ball bag. What do you want to do first? Repairs. I got a fun one. Okay. So, yes, it's actually Friday. I got a call over from one of our new techs and said we were talking with him. New techs? You have a new tech? Yep. We have a volunteer. Oh. Yep. And they're taking on, they know how to use OSCOPS and everything. So, Em is, Amelia is, Amelia, I mean, is very good. I call her Em. And she is really, you know, getting into it of repairing stuff. So, I was like, cool. She comes over and she's like, yeah, I'm getting fake, I'm getting ghosting switches. I'm like, well, make sure there's no capacitors on any of the switch. And it's actually ghosting switch. So we'll go to one and nine. So switch one and nine are automatically ghosting. So it's on the same row, not the same column, but the same row. I'm like, make sure there's no capacitors left on any switches and that kind of stuff. she's like nope no switches i'm like hmm okay cut one of the wires let's rule it right out and cut the other wire off still going on pull the connector off still going on so i'm like okay let's try the 6821 chips which is the pio in and pio out switch you know switches for a uh bally stern cpu swap we first swap them doesn't change then we put two new ones different ones in. Still no change. So I'm like, fuck this. Let's get a new CPU board. And the CPU board fixed it. So what is everyone thinking? A bad diode or a bad capacitor in the CPU? Thoughts? I'm kind of questioning what it could be now. It's a brand new Weebly board too. So I replaced it with another Weebly board and it's been working fine since. So it's something definitely on the board. anybody got some ideas you cut a bunch of wires and did a bunch of stuff for a count of nothing I was like make sure rule out of switch and we did it's a board issue it's definitely a board issue and it's not the 6821 which is the inputs and outputs you said the answer, replace it with a Weebly and you're all set it was a Weebly and it's now another Weebly different version, different era I'm thinking either the capacitor or one of the diodes is bad. But the weird thing was when I pulled the connector off, instead of being 1 and 9, it went to 2 and 10, which is another row. Instead of the normal 1 and 9 row, it's now 2 and 10, which is a different row. So, thoughts? If you can, you can email me at slamtillpodcast.gmail.com That's slamtillpodcast.gmail.com Wow, we knew it. Yes, go figure. I'm fucking awesome. Other than that, I had to replace a beehive on the old stern sugar rod. One was cracked. Oh. Yep. My big game finally crept to bed, put a new one on, got that all back up and running. Getting ready to put the new parts that I got for torpedo alley for the flipper mechs and everything. And then we can start working on the rest of the mechs. And then hopefully we'll have that out in February if I have time willing. God knows my life can give some free shit going on in my life. Most people don't know what I'm going through. But, yeah, if I get free time, that's going to be the big key. Maybe I will get done with this quicksilver so we're all wrong on the – How about the Star Wars Death Star fix? Was that installed? We have not installed that yet. What is the actual fix of that? It's a different ramp. It's a different ramp. It's a bracket. It's a bracket. You've got to take everything off. Whatever. It's just a bracket with a bigger hole. Yes. So we have that. We have it in our possession. But Mark's been away for the week, and we're going to be working on games four. It's not in the tournament for the States, so in my mind, out of sight, out of mind, let's worry about the stuff that's actually going to be played. we're going to have 16 games ready for the states for the early EM classic then DMD and then Modern so it should be pretty cool we've got to get those all ready and then we're going to have the side tournament with 10 you know pump and dump dump and pump I dump first then I pump I switch on the pump on the toilet Other than that, another weird one we had was Tales from the Crypt. Old Data East. I come up one day, we have an automated system in our place which turns on games by section, by computer. And all the games turn on and I look over and I'm like, hmm. Tales didn't turn on. So let me just turn it back off and turn it back on. Nope. Okay, it gets the back glass off. Put the power to the 5 volts. I have 2.1 volts for 5 volts. So you would think, ah, bridge rectifier or anything else. No. Bad batteries. Oh, the CPU. The blocking diodes tested good. We cut them out and we tested them. But it was acting like bad blocking diodes. And I don't know why, but we put new batteries in, we'd write up. Huh. There you go. That's a different new one. I was stumped by that, like, huh? I got 2.1 volts. This is fucking impossible. Nope. Guy's like, I took out the batteries, and it worked. And it's worked since, so very weird. If anyone has an answer for that one, I'll be loving to hear what you guys think about that. Anything for you, Ron? No. Nope. Ron. I went through my Evil Dead box again, and I could not find any other sheets of paper. So you got the sheet. So I just have the one sheet that starts at step seven, I think it was. There you go. And no answer from anyone who's spooky because they don't listen to us because we don't like that. Oh, sorry. You don't like that. I don't have a problem. They don't like you. Oh, darn. Darn, I'm so disappointed. You're so mean. He's losing sleep, I can tell. I can tell, boy. Ready for the ball bag? Oh, what about me? What about me? You don't have repairs. Of course I do. You do? Yeah. This ball got stuck on this game. This ball got stuck on this game. My perfectly working stir and pinball machines. So I have a missile command, an original missile command, 1980. Oddly enough, it's a TNT machine. It goes on TNT. Oh, Todd Tuckey. Todd Tuckey. I have no idea how I've come into possession of this pin, but it is bulletproof. Except the roller ball, which is that big four-inch roller ball. It's called a track ball, yes. The track ball. It doesn't have James Caan in it. It's not a roller ball. So it wasn't going to the left, it was to the right. So I had to freak around with it. I tried oiling it. Turns out, just dirty Optos. Yeah, I don't think you want to put oil on that thing. No, no, no. You've got to put three-in-one on it. No. No. Not on the ball, on the frigging... No, on the bearings. No. But it says in the manual that's what you do. It says in the manual, on the bearings, three-in-one oil. You clean it, drop a three-in-one oil. You fix the optos. Which is probably why the optos are dirty, because there's oil on them. Yeah. So anyway, that's what I did. The other thing was, when this roller ball was not moving to the left, I got angry, and I smacked the control panel. And then all of a sudden, I popped a fuse. And I was like, no! What's going on? So I did some troubleshooting. I've never done this. I'm not a troubleshooting guy. Bruce, I listened to this. You're doing a diode. I'm getting so many volts. I'm doing this. I'm doing that. I have no idea what you're doing. Honestly, God, that is like science to me, and it's amazing to hear you say it. So I'm like, okay, so I got the manual, and I'm going through the list of things. Anyway, I figure out which fuse pops, okay? And then I have to figure out, okay, what does that fuse control, right? So then I'm looking at things on this diagram of which I don't understand. And then I look in the back, and I realize, oh, there's this, what they call a degaussing coil. Are you aware of what this is? I don't think the degaussing coil is. It demagnetizes the monitor. It demagnetizes the tube, yes. So apparently, I look, and this thing has fallen off of the monitor. Oh, that's not good. I know, and it has landed on something. It created an arc and popped the fuse. So the monitor's not turning on, clearly. because the camera's gone. So then I'm like, okay, so now I have to figure out how to ground a monitor so I don't electrocute myself and, like, pee my pants and stop my heart. Yeah, you don't want to do that. So what you need to do is actually get a big screwdriver. Yeah, and then you tie a wire around it and tie it to the chassis. And put it under the little nipple thing. And you also want to not touch – you don't want to touch it without a resistor to knock the voltage down. So you want to get, like, a two-watt resistor. Yeah, that I didn't do. Yeah. Yeah. So then I grounded it, and I'm like, okay, so then I'm, like, trying to put this coil back on, which I find weird because the coil itself doesn't look like it fits perfectly around the monitor. No, it has a room. It just goes on the inside of the glass. There's two clips. Yeah. So I kind of just jammed it up there. Yeah, you've got to squeeze it and then push one in on one side, then you push down on the other side and you release it, and both grabbers will go inside the glass. So this is what I did for repairs. Wow. And this is, like, this is a big deal for me. Hold on, hold on. Remarkable. So, like, replacing LEDs for me is a big deal, right? Or, like, cleaning under really difficult. You want to hear how many volts that was that you were playing with? Yeah. 40,000. Wow. 40,000 volts. Yes. What? How's that possible? Because it's very low amperage. Buh. Yes. If you're plugging into, like, a 120-volt outlet, how do you get it? There's actually, because what happens is there's a coil. It's called the, what's it called? Hold on. But the coil does go up and brings it up to a high, high voltage. So it magnetizes and electrifies the whole tube. for the guns to work and actually shoot onto the screen. It is that high of a voltage. Okay. Vector monitor for those at home. No, it's a regular monitor. It's a regular monitor. It's a well-garnered. Oh, no, this will come in. I'm thinking of something else. Never mind. So, anyway, that is outrageous. So, not only did I fix that roller ball, which was a super simple fix. Trackball, yes. Trackball. It's called a flyback transformer. and they can go up to 50,000 volts on the TV. Oh. So, yes. Super cool. I didn't die. And you didn't die. I probably should have told my wife that I was downstairs doing that, though, just in case. Yeah. Missile Command, bro. So, are you, like, a world champion Missile Command player? No, but I love that game. Love that game. I think my high score on it is 20, 27,000. I met the champion. I think he's like British. Oh, yeah. So it's all about like swing the rollerball this way and press three buttons this way. Trap ball. Whatever. Roller ball. Roller ball. Rock and roller games. Rock and roller ball. Roller games. Rock, rock, rock and roller ball. Wow, I'm proud of you. You like fixed the most dangerous thing you could fix. I know, exactly. The thing that would cause you death. Yes, death. It won't cut you, Jesse. It will make your arm go numb very badly because there's not a lot of amperage. But it will make your arm go numb. I've done it. I'm sure you have. You might pee my pants. Oh, you would have definitely lost your bowels. Shit on the floor. Shit on the floor. Shit on the floor. I know what that's from. Nobody got, only very few people got that, Ron. Really? I bet you. It's a popular show. It's a pinball machine, too. It's in the pinball machine. I know, but if you notice, our Canadian did not pick up on that. He didn't pick it up on it. On what? Shit on the floor. The comments on the floor. Shit on the floor. Shit on the floor. All right, okay. See? See? Told you. Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty. It's actually one of the most, like, let's see. What do you got? Oh, yes, I do remember. Show me what you got. Show me what you got. I like Rick and Morty, but I've never actually. He's got Young Kinky. He can't be watching. Get Swifty. Get Swifty. She has never stuck in my mind forever. That's the only thing that's stuck in my mind. Yeah, exactly. Like, what the? Get on the floor. What great lyrics those are. It was fucking awesome. I love that show. All right. Ballback time. All right. And if you want to write to the ball bag, again, that's slamtillpodcast at gmail.com. We're here for you, to support you. We have two emails, but one of them I actually think I have to just reply to. It's not to be read. But it doesn't vote on there. But it's a question. The other one is from Cole. Hi, Cole. Cole emails us a lot. Hey there, ask someones. So we're ass. Subject is Godzilla is king. Godzilla. It's Godzilla. Godzilla. While some of us, okay, while some may have taken enough penicillin to stop listening, this SPD is here to stay. As I'm sure most of your STDs are. It's sad that people can't have an opinion nowadays without someone getting offended. Oh, boy. Going to the extreme. Except when it comes to Ron trying to spread the fake news that dialed in in Star Wars are good games. 100%. I'm going to stop reading this now. We all know they are shit games and should go up in flames. Wow. I totally agree. Cole is 100% right. It ranks right up there with Bruce saying the soulless Star Trek is better than Spider-Man. Just not possible. Okay, it's right there. Then again, I am a guy who likes playing Ghostbusters, but it has to be the pro. The premium and the LE suck. I guess that we are all fucked. Okay. Listening to you guys talk about movies that should be pinball, Airplane is a classic. Oh, fuck yeah. Airplane 2 was good, and Shatner was great in it. Spaceballs would be just awesome. Blazing Saddles, while being a great movie, I just don't know how you would do pinball with it. You definitely have a fart mode. History of the world. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bean mode. you have trying to make the railroad across. You can do all this fun stuff. I think you could work. History of the world part one would be good. Another one that would be great and offend people would be the jerk. The jerk. Drop targets could be the cans the guy supposedly hated and shot, special purpose multiball, opti-grab shot, and, of course, the thermos bash target. Of course, you would have to battle Iron Balls McKenzie. Yes. Whatever one of these gets done, Ella needs to do it. I need a good shooting game with good rules for a classic like these, damn it. Here's one. Here's one. How about Naked Gun? But the original TV show that had like six episodes or whatever. Oh, the Mod Squad. From the Files of Police Squad. Yeah. Police Squad. That's a different show. No, Police Squad is a different show. It's Police Squad. I'm telling you, that would be amazing. with special guest star Bruce Nightingale and then he gets killed within the first 10 seconds. That's the best part of it. With special guest star, I think Shatner was out. Yeah, he was. With special guest star William Shatner and then he gets shot in a restaurant. He's dead. Love it. How did you get in here? Well, I'm a locksmith. Sorry. You got it? No, right on. That was so bad. I just like the credit sequence where they're in the police station, the guy's on fire, and the woman's holding a baby, and she just tosses it. It's obviously like a dummy, but it's still hilarious. As for Stern and what they should do when Godzilla becomes the most sold game, they should go full whip-it-out mode. Whip it out. Whip it out. It should be Godzilla S.I.V. model for suck-it-bitches. On the in-lane plastics, instead of missiles, they could be little penises that say spooky, barrels of fun, Turner, Dutch, Williams, etc. Jesus. Then the Flippers could have toppers on them that are big penis that say Stern on them. Wow. The building would need to be renamed Bally, as it would be Stern who took him out. You know, he just gets destroyed. I guess Mechagodzilla could be Jersey Jack as they keep getting pounded. Then there would have to be a call out, Ron, you must do the narrator voice here. Oh, okay. I don't believe what I'm seeing. Godzilla is dick-slapping the competition. Good golly, Miss Molly. Think of what they could do with the new topper. It could then all be sold by Stern as an accessory for all the machines they have already been sold. Cash grab. Cash grab! Okay, maybe not. I guess a gold version will have to do. Or better yet, a King of the Monsters edition. Oh, that'd be pretty cool. Ron, I guess you took DPX to a new level. Well, I'm glad the surgery on your foot went well to take it out of Bruce's ass. I hope the next one goes just as well to take it out of Zach's ass. Wow. I hope you recover 100%. One of your DPX STDs, Cole. Thank you, Cole. Thank you, Cole. See, you can abuse us like that as much as you want if you email us. If you send to the slamtelpodcast.gmail.com, you can just bash us constantly. On the other email, Ron, do I need to do anything or no? No. No. Okay, good. Okay, so the line is, who are you and how did you get in here? I'm the locksmith and I'm a locksmith. It's great. It's still bombed. It's great. It's great. I don't believe what I'm hearing. Yeah, I think it's like a car crash from Opie and Anthony. When a bad joke, you just let it go and you just hit the car crash button and you hear. Yeah. Good jolly, Miss Molly. I think we're done. Are we done? We're done. So don't forget, stomp tickets will go on sale on 15th, noon, Eastern time. It's not standard, but Eastern time. Actually, it is standard, yes. But, yes, Eastern is fine. E.T. time. Because it's always right. E.T., E.T., E.T. So tickets go on sale for that. we have asked for the new drawings for the belt. I have an idea. I posted it to our person who makes ours. Oh, the belt. And I think this one is really good. Did you agree with me? Do you get a new belt every time or do you pass the belt around? You didn't send it to me, Bruce, so I don't know. Yes, you did. You were on the chat with the person who does our artwork. I was? And you didn't. Yes. Because you made a comment about something else about it. I did? I don't remember any of this. So I'll take your word for it. I said what it should be. And you didn't say anything, and I thought you would have seen it, and I know you would have seen it, and you went, oh, okay. You know, I saw you looked at it. That's even the funnier part. I literally don't know what you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. Some guy in Canada makes our pictures, remember? Yeah, yes, I know, Bruce, but I don't remember any of this. I remember the last one we did with the – It is. This baseball stuff that we did. That's all I remember. Okay. The next one I asked them to do something else. Let's see. Is it new? Yes. And it would be on not our chat with Joe itself. It would be on the show chat. The show chat. Yes. Yes. And it fits perfectly with a belt. Okay. I see your comment now, but I didn't read any of that. Okay. And there's no pictures that I see. No, there are no pictures yet, but I asked them to have it done by March. Okay. You'll have these conversations on the podcast. I love it. Fucking awesome. It shows our real life. Can we just go back and talk more about pinball tournaments? No, no, no one wants to hear that. Okay. They've already turned off. Well, we've got to get off this thing because Ron's got to get tickets in 45 minutes. Or try to. Try to. For INDISC, yes. Ooh. Yeah. Try to get those VIP tickets before they sell out instantly. So important. F5, F5, F5. Have anything else you want to plug other than that podcast that we already mentioned twice, David? Yes. Which podcast was that? I can't say. No, you're not allowed to say. And I brought up the Ron when you were gone in your bathroom break. The washroom break. Bathroom. Yes. When's my time to come on your show? Oh, well, here's the thing. I've got the perfect time for you to come on. Oh, he does. Okay. I do. I do have a very good time. Yep. The Deep Root episode. Boy, oh boy, I would love to get sued. Yeah, I've got plans. Don't worry. Okay. Wow. Because we never had anyone on, so. I feel worthy. But I'll always make an exception for Bruce Knight. Oh, my. Wow. You know that he actually got a win at the Rochester Pinball Collective last year. Wow. Yeah. Yes, we did mention that. And he did. The Metallica launch party. Yes. where he called himself Bruce Lye for some reason in the chat. They're like, wow, I didn't know you were Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee. Bruce Lye was one of the fake Bruce's that came out after he died. That guy was Bruce Lye. All right, so that's all I got, Bruce. That's all I got. I got to do work now, John. Check us out on our website, www.slamtailpodcast.com. All our links are in the upper right-hand corner. Again, if you want to email us, email us at slamtillpodcast at gmail.com. Thank you, David Dennis. Thank you, gentlemen. Thank you, David Dennis, for coming on. And since you said he might put you in an episode, I will mention Silver Bowl Chronicles some more time. That's our podcast. Me and David Dennis. Check out our latest episode, part two of our Jersey Jack. Yeah, part two of Jersey Jack. I'll just say that. And I'm sure there's no ads on it or anything. Nope. Nope. Nope. I didn't put another one in the middle of the episode this time. Okay. Wow, good. Wow. And hello to everyone on our Clusterbuck, et cetera. Et cetera. Hello, Zach. Hello, Steven Bowden. Hello, Jeff Teolis. Hello, Ken Cromwell. Oh, Ken Cromwell. You couldn't remember his name. Yeah, I know. Poor Ken. Womp womp. And, hey, don't forget, if you need to buy a pinball machine, whip it out pinball. More place to go, baby. That's why I just got my evil dad that's still sitting in the living room not set up. Yeah, he's got a boot. You can't do anything about it because you've got a boot. I couldn't lift it anyway. It went out the boot. Jesus Christ. I don't know what you're talking about. You're talking a boot. Do me and Zach have to come out there and help you with your boot? No, no. Okay. Thanks, everybody. Until next time, say goodbye, Bruce. Goodbye, Steve Schaefer. All by myself, you can do it if you try. All by myself, all by myself, I guarantee to keep you alive. Meteor, level zero, clusterbuck, switch to dive, Oh, my. Oh my Oh my Oh my
