We're ready. We're ready. Just do it. Just do it. Just do it. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Bonus fresh for Zach. Welcome everyone to Season 5, Episode 4 of the Fresh Pinball Podcast. Here we are again in Zach's 3D printing lab. Laboratory. Laboratory. I like that better. It's very Munsters of you. It is. I love it. It is downstairs. It is. We are subterranean. We're sitting here about to talk some very, very freshness. But before we do, I want to introduce everyone to my right, on the board, Mr. Kyle. How are we doing, Kyle? I'm doing wonderful, Jeff. How are you today? I'm full of pizza. I'm feeling good. Thank you. I've got some Arnold Palmer running through my veins. Arnold Palmer? I'm feeling good. I did say to only come under one condition. It seemed very reasonable to me. Yeah. It was a condition that I could meet. Yes. Pizza. Sitting across from me, Zach Angeli. Zach, how are we doing, buddy? Flipping fantastic. As expected. I appreciate that about you. And to my left and to Zach's right, Mr. Corbin Angeli. How we doing, buddy? Doing good. Doing good. Excited to be here. Back on the table. Back on the grind. I feel a lot of excitement around the table. You guys went on quite the pinball adventure. So I just want to jump right into it. No fact check. No container talk. No trailer time with Corbin. none of that stuff let's just get right into it so as anyone who is anyone knows anything about pinball that's pinballing right now they know that beetle juice is the new hotness they it is so the juice is fucking loose he is definitely loose man it's so six seven right now it's oh my god has all the riz i don't even know what that means nobody knows you're the only one with a teenager anyway that's Beetlejuice and you guys made an incredible journey to Benton, Wisconsin Homeward Bound incredible journey I can only imagine when the bus crested the hill into Benton, Wisconsin cue the music I hit the album a couple times going across the border, I hit it a lot but one of the times was going into Benton so let's start at the beginning here what we're referring to is Don's pinball podcast Spooky Pinball's Midnight release of The Midnight Madness for Beetlejuice. So Don put together a giveaway through his podcast where 20 people had the opportunity. How did they win those? He had a phrase that pays so old school you had to email him you had to email the phrase that pays time stays I think it was mudflaps possibly was the phrase that pays. I think you're talking about me. Email in the phrase that pays and then 20 people receive passes to be able to... I think you said you got like 80, 90, 100 emails instantly. Oh, I believe it. Yeah. So basically what it was is there was going to be this party. You get hands on it and if you would like you have the opportunity, 20 people to put a deposit down on their newest game. Yeah. Cash. Cash deposit, cash money, bro. There was cash deposits being made. I mean, obviously. Rolls of pennies, which are very valuable right now. That was me. They didn't like that. They were like, oh, man. So that was it. That was my understanding of it all. And then we started to make plans of, let's get up there. Let's do it. Let's be a part of this. We think there's going to be cool energy. We like to do cool, fun things. And then, essentially, you guys wrangled up the bus, headed northbound, and? We rolled. Well, about ten, ten and a half hours. Yeah. We should back up the night before we're debating on what game to take. Kyle calls me. First he texts and he's like, I don't know, should we take GTF? And then he calls me. That would have been a curveball. He calls me and he's like, how funny would it be if we just dropped this GTF in Don's living room? Because Don happens to be, he's apparently not very fond of the game. And he's quite vocal about it. It would be amusing, but then we also decided, inevitably, we're like, America's Most Haunted might make more sense. In a sense that, you know, to support the spooky cause versus showing up with a GTF. The GTF would have been funny. It would have been. America's Most Haunted was hit, too. Abba was there, so why not? I think Anna swayed me that night. She did. I heard it back. No, you can't take that to spooky. She did. She was like, no, I believe you. She's like, take America's Most Haunted. Seriously. It's like, okay. Which it made sense Because it was kind of like the first game Up to the current game The full circle Definitely very full circle So we left Canton around noon Got out there around 9.30 their time Made pretty good time really We did not get stuck in too much A little bit of slowdown Chicago area But nothing too crazy It kept us on the outskirts That's smart I was fully expecting with refuelings and traffic and speech restrictions. I didn't know you were only going to stop once. My past history with Kyle, it usually indicates multiple stops. Turns out Kyle's a long-haul bus hauler. It turns out if I have a couch to lay on, it's far different. Sleep for 10 hours straight. It's impressive. It was impressive every time I looked in the mirror. But I was guesstimating 12 hours, so when Corbin said 10, 10 and a half, I was like, holy crap, you guys didn't have much time at all. At one point, I did clock the bus going 63, miles an hour. Downhill. We were ripping. And there was a breeze behind us, yeah. You were drafting off of us, Emma. Somehow, like, the moon was, like, taking us. We did, and the funny thing was, too, we passed people. I'm like, how the hell are we passing people? We're on the turnpike and going around people. Like, dude, what? Insanity. Look around you. Get off your phone. I posted a picture on my personal Facebook, and it's just my feet and the bus, you know? My one buddy's like, Yo, you guys got a bus? I'm like, yeah. Yeah, my buddy's got a bus. It's pretty cool. It's a good time. It makes for nice trips. It's useful. So, yeah, we can load games in the back. So, anyway, we get out there about 930. When we get there, like, we pull up. The cul-de-sac is parked Pack City. Yeah. Don's house is bumping. Yeah. So, you guys go down, run down, scope it out. We back the bus down into the driveway, unload it, sweep it into the living room. I mean. And everybody was downstairs watching the Evil Dead trailer. Oh, yeah. So, no one really. We just kind of did our own thing. Beetlejuice trailer. So like world premiere to somewhat the public was going on downstairs. Yes. And we were like, we're just going to move America. And there was an Abba CE sitting there, which happens to be one of like, I didn't realize it till the very end, but like he bought the game from us. And it was like, oh my God, he's the coolest dude. Because it was just like, he A, owns an Abba CE. Like, I don't think I know anyone else who owns an Abba CE really around. And he just threw it in the car and hauled it from Iowa or is, I think he's from, yeah, he's from Iowa. Rolls it up to. So are people. Yeah. He's doing a lot. You know what makes no sense is the drive 10 hours with a pinball in it. We didn't realize until we were the last ones at Don's house at, you know, 2.30 in the morning or whatever, loading our game, helping him load his game, and it's like, oh, shit, what's up, dude? So as it turns out in my brief searchings of hotels and other things near Benton, Wisconsin, Benton is actually on the far western side of Wisconsin, only 30 minutes from Iowa. Oh, okay. So it wasn't that far. So depending on where he's coming from in Iowa, but like Dubuque is literally 30 minutes from Benton. Okay. I did not realize that. Yeah. Neither did I until I started like looking around. I've always only gone like to Benton. Oh, yeah. Like never gone. It was crazy dark out there. I loved it. It was nice. It was no light pollution. Oh, yeah. It was really nice. I see why you want to live there, honestly. I mean, and a lot of people who are from urban areas or, you know, the city or whatever. My only experience is at 10 o'clock at night, by the way. Yeah. It's, yeah, very, very dark. If you're trying to see the Aurora Borealis or some sort of constellation or whatever else, those are the places to be. So to kind of set the scene a little bit, Don's house is literally, if you were to throw a rock from his back door. You can see the factory across the field. It's probably two, three football fields away. It's not far. Uncle Rico could hit it with a football. The drive there was left, and then we were there. Napoleon Dynamite. Yeah. So people were loading up in the bus to get over there. People were loading up in Cybertrucks. Basically horseback, whatever it took to get them over to the factory. Pretty much. I think it was like, what, 1130 midnight we went over there. Yeah. Yeah. And the house was cool, too, because there was like secret passages. Yeah, the bookcase for the doors. Well, it was Charlie's house. Right. Little movie theater scene in the basement Where they were watching the featurette So yeah It was pretty cool So they had a layout there from Chipotle If you wanted to get your munch on How far is the new Chipotle So me and Zach walk in And Morgan looks at me and she's like Did you guys really drive from Ohio I'm like oh yeah we brought a game And she just looks at me like Very confused look And I'm like yeah we're here let's do this And it's always funny to me that anybody knows who I am Because I am nobody I am just your guys' friend You are pinball famous, my friend Pinball famous It's a whole different kind of famous Oh yeah, the Perkstar You get to play pinball That is pretty much the exclusive Perkstar Maybe a beer or two And Don made us some shirts The back The translates Are freaking sick amazing made just for that party uh it's how a launch party should be done it everything uh just on the up and up i mean franchi doing custom art custom translates the passes the gift bags the food the everything i mean it just everybody there was having like they were it was just the very everyone was so jazzed up definitely i think the last time i was like jazzed up for a late night thing like that was like a kill bill or something oh sure like like an 11 or midnight showing like it was like that type of vibe where everybody's just like yeah let's do this you know yes it was very cool i worked in theaters for for multiple decades and midnight releases were a big thing for a very long time and the last big one that i remember was the last harry potter movie oh okay absolutely by costumes and the whole shebang yeah the twilight movies we should have Or even like a GameStop release. I never experienced anything like that. Very cool. Yeah. I just wonder, you know, it seems like they were playing. The talk was like, oh, we've got to do this again and everything. How big is this going to go? Is this going to get crazy? Should we even be talking about this? Are people going to find out about it now? I think the thing with it is it's insulated from, like, if it were a manufacturer out of Chicago, it would be very, very hard to do that and limit it because everyone and their brother kind of has access. You can fly in and out. A lot of people live there. Exactly. Some of the people we talked to, that dude from North or South Carolina, he'd split it in two days. I'm driving straight back. Yeah, I know Sterling was there. I know John was there. I mean, you guys were from Ohio. People made the pilgrimage for sure. It was cool. So I think them being insulated, like, distance-wise. You have to be the real crazies. Yeah, like, there's a tiny little regional airport in Dubuque. There's one in Matt. Like you have to fly into Chicago to fly into a major airport and then make an additional three-hour drive to get to Benton. Don't we know somebody with a little plane? Do we? I thought we did. We might need to get to know somebody. That would be very useful. Ben Boer does. Does he? He has one. He flies it. I don't know if he flies it yet, but I remember him telling me he bought one. We can discuss this further then. All right. What kind of species has he got on there? So you guys get to the factory. They have a game set up And of course people are immediately Want to go over and fawn over the new game Yeah for sure Nobody was like trampling over each other To play it or anything Everybody was being real respectful Everyone taking turns They had the upgraded topper on it They had the standard topper off to the side Which was also very cool So do we want to talk game for a little bit right now Or do we want to talk Other interactions and then come back to the game What are you guys thinking because it seemed like you guys played the game at the end. We did. We got distracted. We got very distracted. So let's talk about some of the distractions. You guys got to talk to some people in the inner circle, make some relationships. It was cool to talk to – we got to talk to Ben Heck a little bit. We got to talk to Hilton, like just talk about the different – I mean, he was getting pretty technical. He was. I was like, I don't know what you're talking about. You were talking about that one chip with him about Jetsons. Oh, yeah. We got a little insight on the whole Jetsons issue because our Jetsons keeps flashing. So we did got – they had some boards that we were hoping to fix it, but it didn't seem to take. So if anybody knows any information on this. It was called Ben now. Yeah, I think that's what we'll end up doing. So we talked to him for a while. We walk in with America's Most Haunted, and Ben says something like, that game paid for a third of my house, or an eighth of my house, or something. It was pretty funny. It was cool to see him there. It's very cool to see the person that designed the game. Oh, for sure. Definitely. I mean, that's just a connection that he'll have forever, for obvious reasons. So he's going to see it and immediately I can imagine being that person and just you probably get hit with a flood of feelings and memories and everything else, whether it's some love, some hate, some painful moments or whatever else. He was surprised, like, wow, I'm surprised it lasted this long. Yeah, exactly. Dude, being underneath that play field, I was equally surprised that it has lasted as long as it has. It was funny, too, like two days before or something. I'm like, I don't know. I think GTF would be funnier than hell. He was going back and forth. I was stressing about it a little bit I'm surprised you guys pulled something out of Kyle's basement to take instead of like easier pickings out of like the showroom or something he had to pull it up when I pulled it out in front to pick him up literally we carded out in two seconds I love it I'm still in the basement I'm like dude it's going to take five seconds I'm like oh I have to carry this thing it's on the car just push it's fine we'll be fine but like two days before It was totally worth it. I've been having a problem. I was going to say, it's always worth it. I've been having a problem with the one sling on it. So I was in there messing around, messing around. And at this point, I'm like, I'm taking GTF. I don't even care. I just want to play this game tonight and just had to do some adjustments or whatever. And whatever I did, I put the balls back in. And it was like, nope, no balls. And I just turned it off and went to bed. I'm like, how is there no balls in here? I just put them in. I swear. I know they're in there. Yeah, I can see there's balls. But it was just a simple switch issue. As it always usually is. I checked the speaker for any missing parts, and we were pretty good. There's only a couple of washers, a couple of bolts on there. That's fine. Yeah. So definitely Ben Heck has a ton of history with spooky pinball, so that's cool to be able to make that connection. Definitely. It was cool. We've seen him around, but I never really feel like we've talked to him before. No. Honestly, though, my biggest was AJ. Yeah, we got to hang out with AJ for a while and talk to him. And he's like, is that the game that I think it is? And I'm like, yes, it is the game you think it is. He's like, can you bring up the audits? And it was like 67 plays on it And he just had the biggest smile He like how you get the play field to not dimple How did you manage that? Interesting. Yeah. No, that was definitely one of my, I agree, favorite interactions was definitely. Just getting to talk to him about that. Just him showing us, like, giving us a little personal tour of the. Got to see some laser cutting stuff. I was going to say, some of that laser cutting stuff. It was very cool. So he was talking about the, so they had two of the old ones. It'd take like 12 hours, 24 hours, something crazy that you could do in two hours now. On the new one, with one machine versus what the two could do in that much longer. Non-stop running, yeah. Yeah, which was definitely cool. And I thought it was cool that they still hand-bent all their forms and everything. Just one old-school bender there. It's true boutique, man. Yeah. It really is. Yeah. So that was definitely cool. So you guys, Corbin had had, I think this is probably when we break the news of the February plans. Oh, yeah. That's a good point. Yeah, let's do it. Let's do it. Then we'll get back to the thing. Yeah, this actually ties in because this is something that helps for our cause for that. Right. So Corbin texts me one day. He's like, I was out cutting the grass. This is like literally the height of summer. He's like, I was out cutting the grass. and I was thinking what if we took all of the spooky pinball machines from Ohio and drive them down to Florida this is exactly what he was saying in my mind what's it take to cut your grass? like 12 minutes he uses scissors and we take all of the spooky all the legacy games to pinball at the beach that way they'll have the new game Whatever wasn't going to be there, we'll bring the rest. Right. And I'm like, okay. Because Pimper is canceled, and we got these games, and it's fun as hell to do. I mean, a lot of work. And my immediate reaction always is, I'm down to do something cool, but I know how busy you are, Corbin. Is there any way that this can actually be made to happen? He's like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, no problem. So I start the dialogue. Yeah, because it's a sick idea. It is a sick idea. So I go to Morgan, and I'm like, hey, what do you think of this? And she's like, oh, if Marshall's down for this, then absolutely. We would love for this to be for this to happen. So then I would have thought it would be way easier to find contact information for a very high end and reputable pinball distributor. But I go to I go. Exactly. I learned a few things like I need to hide my information. I can't find an email for him. I can't find a phone number. I can't find anything. so finally I track this guy down on Facebook and I friend him and my friend request is just hanging out there forever finally he approves it and then I message him and then I don't hear back for weeks and weeks he's like I was not going to approve this guy I was real on the fence and then I did the motherfucker messaged me right off the rip he's like no so I'm on a trip and I get a call from a Florida number and I pick it up because I pick up all random calls because you never know somebody from Florida might need a pinball machine exactly this is Jeff You've got to answer it. Hello. He's like, hey, this is Marshall. Hey, what do you want? Down with Little Shop of Games and heard that you guys might be wanting to bring some games down to the show. You know, kind of what's the thinking, what's the whatever. I'm like, yeah, we just want to do something fun, something that will enhance the show, something crazy, you know, and this is what we're thinking about doing. He's like, oh, yeah, that sounds super awesome. Like, yeah, let's kind of get this all, the ball rolling that direction. So we kind of let things settle down a little bit Because there was still a bunch of runway Between then and February And we're at Expo And Marshall walks up to me as I'm walking out We have a nice little chit chat He connects with Kyle Then he goes in and gets some Rotation 8 time in We played some games You played with us All the connections were made So now it's like okay we're officially doing this It's known by the showrunners The rest of our party is like fed up and pissed off Sitting on the floor Yeah, they were all pissed. They were like, we went back in for a little over another hour, but we just had some stuff to talk to. I mean, that game was worth it. That was obviously because it came out with now. It's officially confirmed. We're sponsoring the – we're just doing our – bringing our spooky stuff down. That's right. That's our thing. That's our contribution. A contribution to the show, a sponsor of the show, all that fun stuff. So then you guys are at Spooky, and we'd been chasing for a while, and Alice Cooper Nightmare Castle. Not that we didn't have one. Honestly, this is working out. I've said it 12 times. I'll say it 100 more. I should have gave you a deposit and never paid you. I've heard him say it 12 times and bent when we were up there. Under previous ownership, Mad Pinball was a for-profit business, so occasionally we had to sell games. In the current iteration of Mad Pinball, We only sell pinball machines in order to fund more pinball machines. I'm not saying it's a bad business model. I'm just saying it's a different business model. So Alice Cooper came and went, and then under current ownership, we started to accumulate all of the spooky games. Kyle and I acquired a TNACE and America's Most Haunted together. I picked up an Ultraman. I picked up a Domino's. I have a TNA as well. Yeah, Angelique Zac Stark novelty, God of the Dead. Yep, the spicy TCM, Looney Tunes, Evil Dead. Yep, yep, yep. You have Rick and Morty. Yep. Anyway, they're all coming. So essentially at the end of the day, we had them all except Alice Cooper. And anyone who listens to this knows that we've kind of been on the lookout. We've been bitching about it for two years. For one, we'll find us. So Corbin always, he says this to me an annoyingly frequent amount of time. I'll say, what do you think of this? And he's like, I don't know. like that's a deal but like i think one will find us i'm like always thinking what does that mean like it will find us there's just a poor little if you build it they will come so it's like a little puppy by the by the dumpster you guys explain to aj that you that this is this is the one we need to complete the collection and it just so happens we were talking about like you know i there's some guy on pin side and different things and i'm trying to trade trying make deals and the values were just not lining up i just was trying to you know i'm just trying to be frugal yeah yeah looking for a brother yeah i want and you know what though and this it was worth the wait because then it comes out you know that there's one just up there that has a you know whatever it's kind of a basket case kind of hodgepodge or whatever that was sitting around and we ended up working out a deal and uh bing bang boom it's on the bus and it's back in ohio yeah corbin's living room exactly thank god we took the bus yeah now we have to put a third pinball machine on here. If anybody's looking for a next gen or real clean next gen, it has a color display or could not have a color display depending on your preference. LED all on the play field. Don literally just went, it's the Don special. It has a plaque on it, I'm pretty sure. If not, we can put something with the world's tape, magic marker. Yeah, hit me up. So Alice Cooper's been added into the mix. It's in Corbin's living room. We were so jazzed up whenever we liked it. That's pretty incredible. You text him at like 1.30 Are you still awake? We have news We were going to call you but then we were like Okay, if we text him and he doesn't answer Then we won't call him He's been in bed for three or four hours So we're like, you know what though We'll call Nate Because we're looking at a couple hour time difference Maybe Nate will answer He didn't answer either Since straight to voicemail Tite didn't either No one did Yeah Anyway Did you keep your excitement to yourself? No, we let it out We were very jazzed up with the people around us They also had So before we played Beetlejuice Then we went into the other part of the factory they had a flipper football in there. Super clean with a topper. That's what we really... Did anyone take a picture of it? I meant to. I didn't. It was tube right in there. It's basically a soccer ball, right? Yeah, he'll send us a picture of it. What other games were in there? Hold on. There was like... Other games. They had flippers. You got a picture of them? No, I don't think I did. Tell me more about these. There was a virtual pen. There was a virtual pen. There was pizza. There was pizza. I ate some of that pizza. Yeah. This is riveting. There was a mall and pizza. There's Domino's. People on the edge of their seats right now. Pepperoni. Oh, quick sidebar. So Domino's. Get something good. It was Domino's. So this past weekend. He got an extra apron for Domino's too. Ooh. Just for you, buddy. Anyway. He has a little crag on him. Oh, I don't care. Those parts are ryer. Yeah. So me and my family are in Detroit. and we're walking around downtown Detroit. We're doing this, we're doing that. And we walk past the world headquarters for Little Caesars. And I thought to myself, Wait, what did it look like? Did you go in? Was it building a shape? Did I go in? Did I attempt to go in? Yes. Was the door locked? Also yes. But immediately my thought was, man, should I find another Domino's and should I re-theme it to Little Caesars? Like, is this the right way? Oh my God, it'd be pretty funny, dude. but all I could think was they're already decorated for Christmas in this glass door lobby of Little Caesars they need to have a pinball machine they do need a Little Caesars pinball if we found another Domino's didn't we bid on one once? we did that was Jetsons I've been told that another Domino's might find us if we're patient it might just find us I thought you actually had a lead I believe that though I believe it in my heart I do. It will. It will. We're getting, I think, the people are starting to realize that we like these old spookies or whatever. So they'll find us. It's dangerous. Real dangerous. So this Alice Cooper, though, it was just such a, I also really enjoy puzzles. Yes. As far as, like, I'm always, like, had a thing for, like, if I could get, I've tried to buy games that were completely taken apart before and different things because I just enjoy it. It's like that project car you see and they're like, oh, heads are in the back seat and blah, blah, blah. Corn's like, I'll give you 500 bucks. I put that together. I hope. So, all right. But no, so anyway, it's just lighting up. It's in a track mode. I just got to get a couple more head pieces. That's crazy, man. So I'm excited to get it in the mix, and the story's even better with it. We might call it the Johnny Cash edition. I don't know. I think that there needs to be like a easel with like a poster board with the story of this game when it's all said and done, because I think it is that sort of piece. I've been documenting. Yeah, we should. You're right. It's been, yeah. I was actually thinking about taking the ticket from the event and putting it in the bottom of it. Just as, because I got one of those in the gift bags you're throwing in the bottom. Or putting it in a bag in the bottom or something to preserve it, you know. Gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta. Laminate it maybe, I don't know. Laminate it. But, you know, it'll be on location soon, so. Oh, yeah, once it's up and going. Duh. The coin chutes are in it and the credit switches are in it. The door was put together, man. Only the lights weren't wired in. That's the only thing in the door that wasn't wired in. Shoot. Yeah. So you guys are making. Making the networking, making the connections, hanging out, filling your bellies, and now it's a little bit of Beetlejuice time. Yeah, it's about two. Checking out some random digger they had in there. The what? The random digger. Oh, yeah. They have a backhoe. Spooky as a backhoe. I'm like, what's up with that? Yeah, what's up with that digger over there, man? We just have it around and people borrow it. Of course. I dug some trenching earlier for my house. Very benton of you. He's like, bug, use it for something for a while. It was a nice, it was a good size. Newer Kubota. Kubota, yeah. I mean, everybody needs a new front porch. These are the things that we were doing while everyone else was playing Beetlejuice. Yeah, of course. Carrie Hardy's live streaming. We did see Carrie there, yeah. Don's the hostess with the mostess. Everybody's enjoying this game, and you guys are checking out Excavator. We need to see the laser cutter and the backhoe ASAP. Ollie would be very proud. Zach's getting his Bob the Builder on. So anyway, we get to play Beetlejuice. It was pretty sweet. It was the crowd most people left or whatever. I guess they were getting people off. Anyway. All right, so let me walk you through this a little bit. So you walk up to the machine. What are initial impressions just visually? This is fucking Beetlejuice. Yeah. Okay. And that's what you want. Like, literally, like, if you closed your eyes and thought of a Beetlejuice pinball machine in your mind and you opened them, that is it. It's 100%. The colors are great. It's nailed. Yeah. It was awesome. I had no doubt with Franchi on the art package, and I know his affinity for... He's been doing that Beetlejuice backlash for how long? And I wonder if he had already done that Translight, if he had done other elements of the package as well. Because it all felt very cool. I mean, you've seen pictures and whatnot, but in person. Obvious passion project. Absolutely. And not necessarily a, I need to do this for a job. Yeah. But it's cool whenever a passion and a job align like that. Of course. It's like everything comes together perfectly. If we think about the timing of them hiring Franchi full-time, they were already working on Beetlejuice and then they were like we gotta get Franchi to do the art and then do you think that just turned into like let's just lock it down or maybe they knew this translate already existed and approached him and said hey would you want to do this game and then they hit it off like they did and then as Bug has said other places on the record like I couldn't have this guy doing art anywhere else yeah right I mean I can see that being how it kind of played out because it wasn't the one that he was peddling around wasn't that a stern yeah so we have that they had it and they pat the designers pass on or licensing didn't work out yeah there were several that they've talked about to where yeah those different scenarios that happen like beetle juice and i thought there would be back to the future was another one to where just they couldn't get the licensing and all that to make sense right they ended up passing on it and and i will say the difference between a boutique manufacturer and someone like stern is a boutique manufacturer can take a year to build a thousand of something and that's their entire business model where when you have someone like stern who needs to crank out games they can build a thousand le's in two weeks so like if you wrap your mind around that it's a different sort of thing that it's a grand slam for spooky to sell a thousand beetlejuice games and that's been busy for a year keeps them busy for an entire year if you're stern and you build beetlejuice and you sell a thousand that's a colossal failure. It's a venom. Yeah, it can be a lot of different things. No, you're absolutely right, to where it just doesn't... You can't feed the machine and keep it all moving. And that's what you have to do between the accessories that they build in-house and the games and everything else that needs to be... No, no, they're two different animals. And not that they're building at their max every single week and they're putting out 500 a week every single week, but that is what can be done. But I mean the whole game, like theme integration, the art, the lighting... True World Under Glass. I mean, it is like you're playing that movie. So, Kyle, you said pre-podcast, and I didn't realize this. This is a dream theme for you. Of course, yeah. So you have a connection to it from childhood. He has a tattoo on his back that's bagel juice. It's on my champ stamp. But no. So I think having your opinion on a lot of this carries a lot of weight because you do have that connection, and if something wasn't right or something. I've only seen it recently, obviously. I only see it within the past two months then you would immediately point out and go I would much rather have this that doesn't make sense I can't think of anything from what little time that I got to spend with it of course you guys played a game on it I had like two in the morning or whatever you did because you hopped on someone else's game hey we were looking for a fourth I'm in some of the mechs are cool the sandworm was very cool and even down to like they were talking about The fucking magnet, dude. Oh, the launch was so cool how you shoot the ball and went down. Talk about this a little bit. You think you're like, what the hell? Instant you turn and it went down the outline. Like, man, I strained it. But then suddenly the magnet between the flippers would rip up with the ball and shoot it up into the play field It would get it pretty far Oh yeah it threw it up into play It was plunging it from the center So when you plunged it it wouldn always do that though correct No So that only when you hit the skill shot So the way it was explained is that I saw... I didn't realize what was causing it to do it. When you hit the skill shot, you immediately enter the world of the dead. There was an evil dead in the factory that you could play. Yeah, just online. Just trying to remember those games. Up by Flipper Football, that was one. Because it had the token mode on it. The idea of pinball entering the world of the dead, I've hit the skill shot, so being dead in pinball is your ball draining. So you plunge into your ball draining magnet. I did not realize at all what was going on. Yeah, grabs it and throws it back into play. I don't think I did the first time I did it either, and I was like, oh, shit. Yeah, so I thought that was super cool. The sandworm I thought was super cool, not just in a mech that used the ball and whatever else, but all of the interactivity with it. And the cool thing about it, when you looked at it, too, there weren't too many moving parts. The way they did it, it's a very two moving parts. two coils right two coils only two axes two axes yeah it wasn't it's not doing anything it's not trying to like move side to side up and down or whatever the face is pretty much static but like it just kind of goes up and down like but it works so it's like don't don't over complicate it yeah so i thought that was very cool um they added that one ramp at the end they're like we just thought i needed something over here a little more yeah yeah like let's just so was it the ramp on the left that has the spinning wheel uh it was right on the left like maybe mid yep yeah It wasn't there, and a couple weeks ago they were like, we need something else here. And I know a lot of people say, like, TCM, it's probably their most flowy game. This is twice as flowy. Really? Oh, it was fast. I'm playing it, and I'm solidly hitting the right orbit and going all the way. I'm like, ooh, this is nice. I definitely got a couple combos where I was like, ooh, okay, it's moving. Because they were talking about doing some different things to where you hit an orbit and you get this return. You hit that same orbit again. Now you get a diverter and you get this other return. You go to hit this ramp. Well, now it's a lift ramp and the lift ramp is up. Which is almost like Scooby-Doo. It's all true, but I mean still, I love a nice orbit shot. Oh, yeah. And, you know, it can be diverted or whatever, but I mean, it was just silky. Yeah. It's all good. Because I'd heard, I'd had someone comment to me today. You have to wait until pinball at the beach plate again. No, we can go back to Benton right now. What are you guys talking about? Fire up the bus. Load it up. Let's go. What are we doing here? Was that there's no upper playfield on this game, and if you look back on their last, you know, Evil Dead has obviously the cabin lock and all of that that's up top. Scooby-Doo feels like almost all upper playfield. Halloween with the triple duck. Halloween and Ultraman, so for them to basically say hey, no upper playfield on this, but we're going to do this, and we're going to do the waiting room, and we're going to do the couch, and we're going to do the sandworm, and we're going to do the spinning wheel, and we're going to do all of that. I mean, just as... I mean, even zombies got chicken fucking. Yeah. Let's go to our play field. And you've got Beetlejuice on the right-hand side, just right-hand side hanging out back there. It was a standard body, too. It is a standard body. Yeah. Yeah. Because actually, when I went to put it up, when I was putting together stuff for the website and deposits and whatever else, I was adding the ghost glass. I'm like, well, I wonder what the price on the ghost glass is. and then I saw on their website that they had standard and wide-body. I'm like, oh, is this a standard? I'm like, oh, it is, okay. It's $10 a sheet cheaper. Cool, all right. Then I finally made that connection. Because Evil Dead's wide-body, Scooby-Doo's wide-body. Yep. But Looney is standard. Correct. Yeah. So they just go all back and forth whenever. No, I think it's nice to keep a little bit of a variation of the different. Oh, I agree. Whatever works best for the game. Right, yeah. I don't think you can go into whatever the theme is and go, well, this has to be a wide body. It's like design the best game you can and then decide. Do you need that extra room or don't you? We should go back up and play it again. I want to play it some more. I wouldn't mind, and I'm putting this out there into the universe. I may send an email. It would be really cool. So, you know, like in automotive history, like if they're going to build the last Corvette or the last whatever, they do like a big ceremony. Oh, yeah. I know exactly what you're talking about. This is the last whatever off the line, and they'll do a whole little thing. Wouldn't that be cool to do with Evil Dead? Evil Dead? Like, this is the last Evil Dead to come off the line and do a little celebration or a little whatever. You have any reason to go up there. That's what I'm saying. I'm putting this out there into the universe. I'm just picturing the banner and the pictures you see. Yeah, and this is number 888, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And maybe you even invite the person up who's getting number 888. And everybody signs it. Yeah. Like that whole... Check your calendar before we suggest the date it is, and then we should make it happen. I think that would be pretty friggin' cool. so I'm going to put that out there into the universe that I think that there should be a final Evil Dead build. Let me throw this one back here. Invitation one to Jeff. We need to get an event center up there. That's the key. Before we start building up too many events and promoting these things, or a hotel or somewhere for people to stay, we need to get in the infrastructure now. I don't think we should be putting that out there. I'm going to edit that out, no problem. Cut it out. Anyway. But no, I need an excuse to get back up there. I think even when you guys came back, you were just so amped and so hyped up. It was like, how soon can we go back? When can we have more interactions? Definitely. And Pinball at the Beach is too far off. I just think... So we are going to Pinball at the Beach. We're taking all the spooky games. Of course, man. And we're stopping somewhere in between. So also you were surprised that Evil Dead was a dream theme of mine. Yes. And also, why was I not super excited about Evil Dead? Mike Bear. Wide Body. Wide Body. I mean, Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. So, did you guys do any of the, or observe any of the interactivity with the spooky speak with the topper? Yeah, I had no clues going on. And it's like, say the name. I'm like, oh, and then I just hit the flippers because it really wasn't working when you would say the name at the moment. Okay. It was probably too loud. It was. Yeah, I'm sure there was a lot of ambient noise. other things. I think Bug said that you can turn that on or off depending. I thought it was a super cool idea. Yeah. I'd seen a video of him, it was either in the feature ad or some other, going through some of the things with it, and it seemed super interactive, super cool, I mean, essentially taking toppers to the next level. My technical question on it would have been, I assume, because you can only have the spooky speak if you have the upgraded topper. It's mounted right on the edge of the front. so is that it's just the microphone up so the topper has the microphone and then the brains and everything else that do the spooky are in the game itself or are there things about that i'm not sure either way on that i know they showed us where the microphone the little microphone wasn't everything but i don't know if it if the brains are in the topper or if they're in the game or if it's in like some of their other stuff comes with a separate board so like and that was what i was wondering i mean i i don't know because i was having a conversation it doesn't seem like a dip switch type thing. Legit conversation. No, because if it was in there, then someone would just put an extra microphone on it. Because I had a customer ask the question today of, can I buy a second topper and can I just put it on a shelf and talk to the topper? They're going to add that in, I think, is what I saw in response. So how freaking cool would that be? I think Spooky responded on the Discord or on Pinside and said that that should be possible. And if that ends up being the case... Because with Evil Dead, it came with the extra cable with the extra topper that you could put on a shelf or bottomer or whatever. I think it would be, they're going to do it again. I wouldn't be surprised. It seemed like everything was pointing towards this. And I love the look of it, everything about it from the aesthetic that I was seeing visually from the pictures and the flyer and whatever else it looked like. It moved around and stuff. I mean, it seemed like on par with Evil Dead to where you're getting a lot of bang for your buck with that topper. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. Yeah, it's just not some plastic cut stuff with lights. It's like $1,500. And the one that comes with it is very cool, too. So, I mean, they're both cool. I didn't even look at the one that came with it. It was sitting behind it. It was sitting behind you on a little pallet or something. Yeah. So then one of the other items as I was putting together the invoices for the people who were ordering the game and picking out their trim then was the custom plaques. So where you would normally have above the right hand speaker Your little plaque that would say Game number 225 or whatever Should we get a custom play? So I had you down as no right now But it's definitely an option To where now Spooky is allowing That you can get Corbin's Arcade Or 5th Gen Butter Or No I don't know I don't know you have a run of 89 So I feel like it just needs to be 89 I'm fine with that Because it felt like serendipity that the first two, not the first two, but the 289s that you have, you just happened to get them. We happened to get 289s by accident, yeah. Yeah. I don't know what I'd put on it anyway. And that's part of the back and forth right now is figuring out and asking, like, all right, what's the max number of characters that we can put on this? What's the max number of lines? With the numbers and stuff, what if we get somebody who wants 200 and then somebody else gets somebody who wants 200? How are they going to – And I think that's a can of worms that maybe they weren't necessarily foreseeing happening. Well, somebody gets 2-0-0 and the other person gets 0-2-0-0. Yeah, yeah. It solves the problem. I think they're thinking more than anything probably wasn't people requesting duplicate numbers that other people already had, but getting words. Just getting their certain numbers or words, yeah. Yeah, they'll figure it out. Zig's Beetlejuice. Yeah, I'm sure they have a plan in place for it all. It's up to 150 characters, are you saying? I don't know how many. That's I don't know. 250 characters. I know it's $125 to get the custom plaque, and I'm trying to get the other information. That way I can pass it on to all of these excited people. I'm sure that's something they can iron out between now and production in January. Yeah, I think they'll be able to figure that out. So Corbin may already be privy to this knowledge, but of our Beetlejuice deposits, what do you guys think the attach rate is to the upgraded topper? So the upgraded topper is you get the Spooky Speak. For Beetlejuice? Kyle thinks it's 100% He thinks every person who ordered the game Is getting the upgraded topper Zach? 90 Corbin? I don't know I think it's a lot of people isn't it? So it was all of them But one All of them but one and I went back to the person That had originally declined and I said You understand that if you don't get the upgraded topper It doesn't have spooky speak right? and they're like, oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, I'll take the topper. So the attach rate is one to one. Evil Dead was like 75%. It was like 75%. I think that Bug said, though, overall, it was like, because it was, what was that run? 999? 999. 999. And it was like 857 or something. Oh, you're talking about Evil Dead? Yeah, about Evil Dead. Yeah, so that was, I imagine that it was most of them. It was like a solid 85, 90%. Because I did see one distro that had ordered some extras of the Evil Dead toppers and then was selling them. And it was at retail on eBay. So it's like they were literally selling them basically to Evil Dead collectors. Like, hey, here's this really cool piece. Which that tells you a ton about how good your theme integration is. If you have Evil Dead collectors who are buying pinball toppers to just put on the shelf or on the wall. Jeff, you are aware that Evil Dead is Sam Raimi's first movie, right? Yeah, Sam Raimi made Spider-Man, so I'm going to hate him forever for that. I thought so. But yeah, the attachment rate of the Beetlejuice topper for us is all of our deposits also have deposits on the Spooky Speak upgraded topper, which to me is... That's impressive. That's incredibly impressive. Yeah. Like, I was blown away. Do we have a standard cabinet we can get? I'm sure we can get a... It's a word. So instead of getting a... It's C-Ease only. We were talking about a different color pattern, but we'll talk about that later. So instead of getting a spicy one, we need to get a bland version. It just needs to be like the most basic of the basics. We'll talk about it later. We're talking about powder coating. And we've got to decide Texas is powder coating. We've got to figure it out. The powder coating color that comes standard on Beetlejuice is the one that I had on my Elvira. Okay. That purple. That is a good one, then. It's really good. It's a nice purple. Maybe I don't want to fuck with it. Let me ask this because I think someone who's probably a real artiste could pull this off, but could you imagine the legs powder coated or airbrushed on with like the candy striping, like the black and white? There's already enough of it. You think it'd be overkill? Yes. Okay. There's already enough of that in the art. Okay. I wouldn't do that if you want. I think I'm good. I think I'm all right. And it's funny because I grew up on Beetlejuice. Like I remember having the VHS for Beetlejuice and watching it like on a somewhat regular basis. I never saw it. And I, I still don't. You've never seen it? I have now. Yeah, no, I haven't seen it. Until I knew the next pinball was spooky, I was like, I want to watch Beetlejuice then. I don't even know you people. I got it on DVD for the pinball collection. I just can't believe that 240 Volvo wagon wrecked through a bridge and they got hurt. Because you know that Volvo was fine. It's the most unbelievable thing. I don't believe that bullshit. It's a Volvo. It's fine. They should have rolled it over and drove it out of the river. So fired up about that. He was. Fired up. Fired up. There's no way that 245 with the B20 is still running. It's still running right now in that river. Upside down. People are tuning out of this podcast right now as Zach and Bill are talking Volvos. I don't know. I feel like I should have a connection to that movie. Volvo invented the three-point seatbelt and did not make a patent on it and gave it to everybody to save lives. I know. We've talked about this before. Thanks, Kyle. this moment is brought to you in part by Kyle and I car talk okay Cresson and Brothers painting but yeah I don't know I am a big Tim Burton fan I've loved many of his works and other movies and I just have never had a super connection to Beetlejuice with all that being said I think the game looks incredible it looks like it's going to be an absolute wild game they got all of the assets and they're going to utilize and use every Oh, in the screen. The screen is a higher down. Oh, it's a better screen, yes. The colors. The blacks and the blues will be better. Yeah. The blacks will be blacker. The blues will be bluer. They are, yeah. My days will be greater. My nights will be darker. You're going to see the difference. You're going to like the way it feels like there, too. Guaranteed. You don't like the way you feel. Anyway, so while you guys were playing or anyone else that you were observing, Did any of them get into the Deo mode where they'd get the song? Maybe. Actually, it sounds familiar. I think so. So it's one of the iconic songs from the movie. Of course. That and probably Shake Senora is probably one of the other iconic songs from the movie. So when you get into Deo, literally two things happen that I thought were super hella cool. One, the sandworm dances to the beat of the music. And two, on high, certain beats of it, the flippers flip on their own during the song, which I thought, that's... It's so cool. You want to talk about, not someone I'm a fan of, but he uses the phrase, Kaneda uses the phrase pinball moment. That's a pinball moment. Yeah, for sure. If you're not a normal person that plays pinball, and you just walk up and you put your dollar into Beetlejuice, and you get into that mode, and you see the sandworm dancing and the flippers flipping, it's almost like when Adam's family does the... Thanks, dude. It's so iconic That or when it's showtime on Adam's Family That's the other one people always talk about In the lightning and everything It's those moments That's what gets you hooked and that's what people remember for sure I mean it's like Godzilla The first time someone plays it and the building Like you load three balls into the building The building crashes into the play field One of these days Corbin you be good enough One of these days But I think it about pinball moments and that to me whenever I saw that in the feature ad, I was just like, holy crap, that is... That whole game is packed with pinball moments. It's a world under glass. It's a world. Python would be proud of me. Under glass. The couch, physical ball block on the couch is really cool. And I love the way it helps. I think they were talking about, too, that they might put a setting in there that will make it stealable. Ooh. And you know I love that crap. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. So, you know, whatever one we have around, if that's an option. That setting will be turned on. Oh, I should prepare yourself. Corbin loads two, and Jeff just happens to load one in there and steal Corbin's multiball. My Atom Smasher now. Exactly. Oh, I love that stuff. Now, I'm excited to see it out there into the world. I think the first public availability of it is going to be at Pinball at the Beach. So if you haven't already. Also with every other spooky pinball ever made. Be there or be square. If you're not there. So Marshall's bringing Evil Dead and he had Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty was the other, so we don't have to worry about bringing those. But his caveat to that was. Only the 11 other ones. I don't think I've shared this with you two. If he's going to give us. Rotation 8. Exactly. If he's going to give us Evil Dead and Rick and Morty to use, he kindly requested that we bring Rotation 8. We're bringing the trailer so it doesn't matter either way But we'll bring Rotation Ape because why not He's in a patina Should we take I think you know a guy Should we take Challenger 2 I was literally Just going to say that Should we just take whatever else we can If he doesn't have a flippin football Me and Jeff can install the miler on Challenger Before then You son of a bitch It's just an innocent question Let's just say some weird stuff. Just an innocent question. It's called Wax, Jeff. I guess. What's Cody doing? Is he bringing his Abba? I haven't confirmed with him if he's coming to pinball at the beach. I've heard from a lot of people who are coming. I think... Is it sold out yet? I need to check on all that. I'll post it on social media, link to... Can we take the bus so we can sleep on that, too? Can the bus pull a trailer? We need to hitch that baby up. Dude, can you imagine that? It needs another gear. Through the mountains. Oh, my God. It needs another gear. It needs another gear. And I don't think it... And about 40 more pounds of boost. It'd be so long, because the bus is 38 feet. The trailer is... Oh, it's another 30-plus. 30 feet to 60-plus feet. It's longer than some semis. No, I don't... You guys, we can't take the big trailer. We need to tandem two small trailers together, being pulled behind the bus. That won't be that weird. We're going to go full FedEx on this. Where are we stopping halfway? Have we figured this out yet? So the conversation has been to stop at – Georgia. Where the fuck – what are you talking about? Was that Triangle Pinball Collective? He's not in charge of that. No, I'm probably taking a plane, boys. Those conversations are still ongoing. Okay. Still ongoing, but, yeah, we'll get some more details out there for Pinball at the Beach. If you don't already have your tickets, get your tickets. If it's sold out, I'm sorry that I'm even bringing it up and making you feel bad that you can't get a Beetlejuice and you can't get tickets to pinball at the beach, but hopefully you can get one. We should finish out our story. So we played. We went and hung out with Cody for a minute in his ABBA and then loaded the bus, went back, plugged in at the Spooky Factory, slept, and rolled the next morning. Borrowed the bus up. Yeah, 10 hours back. Dude, I slept for like eight hours solid on the way back. It was incredible. Like I slept. It was incredible. I thought we stopped and got gas. Marvin just watched. I did. He woke up every once in a while, and he was just like, man I'm going to be up all night and then he's just like back out 10 o'clock I was snoring between that and I was watching the spooky discord and the terrorist threads those people were just getting all fired up oh I'm sure we've talked about the there we've talked about the back we've talked about all the whatever yeah let's talk a little bit about the reception because I try to be as tapped into the social media side as much as possible and I will say almost universally in terms of theme integration and gameplay and all of that. Everything that I'm seeing is positive. This is a serious Beetlejuice episode. This is a serious Beetlejuice episode. We don't usually read the news per se, but I feel like this is a very topical thing, and also you guys had a very unique experience with it. No, I'm not disagreeing. I think this is one time I'm good with it. Yeah, it's just not our normal thing. So I think overall in that manner, but then the negativity has come in, in the sense of I couldn't get the game. So I guess I'll start with Kyle. What's your takeaway on that? I don't like the selling spot thing. I don't like that. Fuck scalpers. Yeah, fuck that. I'm so sick of it, just in general. It's not just pinball. It's concerts. It's whatever. It's albums. It's bullshit. Sorry you didn't say I wanted one. That's not... But at the end of the day, there's somebody that makes uh you know 100 million dollars more than i do a year and they don't care how much it is right yeah people are still buying it which i mean yeah i mean it's sold out so everybody bought i mean there was a spot for like 5500 that was sold on headside like so 55 that's ridiculous but that's just feeding into the scalpers yes if you see this do not buy it just just screw them over i don't know man if they if if you can pay if you can buy If you really want the game that much and you're fine with overpaying for it, then I guess I'm opposed to the concept of people just buying them solely to do it because there's people who want it and will just pay the price for it. But at the end of the day, if you still want one and you don't care about overpaying, and if it's for sale, then I mean you get your game. I feel bad for the diehard Beetlejuice guy who was like, I really want this game, I want to get this game, and he goes on the website, it's crashed. He doesn't know that you got a call. I feel bad for that guy At the end of the day if someone's buying it Whatever Why do people ever say at the beginning of the day Everybody always says at the end of the day Why does it have to be the end of the day Because at the beginning The day's still ahead of you It's like the end of the estate sale Everything's a little discounted I think my overall takeaway is I'm also anti-scalper And I will say specifically on the Mad Pinball deposits it's expressly in the verbiage of them all that it is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. If you have a deposit, you can't fucking do it. And that if you decide that you no longer want the game, that the game then goes back into the pool and it goes to the next person on the list. There's no transfer fees. A silly fair way. There's no anything. It's if you decline the game, then it goes to the next person. If you want to buy it, you get it, take a ship, and do whatever you want after that. I mean, do whatever you want. But as far as until that point, yeah. We collect the money from you and it ships to the address that we have on file for you. That's how it will go because I'm not a fan of all of that. Complete agreeance. I mean, I understand it's a free market and I understand all of that, but I'm not going to be a party to it with our games. I mean, it's a free market, but also don't be a fucking asshole. Can I make the shirt I've been wanting to make for a long time? Don't be an asshole. Don't be a douche. Just don't be a jerk. Don't be a dick. All right, don't be a dick. Sure, one of those. Hashtag don't be a dick. There was somebody that I used to say that about a whole bunch, but I haven't thought about them in a while. Interesting. I wonder why. But, yeah, that's how I feel about all of that. The look in his eyes. Sometimes in life there are going to be things that you can't have, and I think some people can't accept that, that there are things that they can't have. Because, to Kyle's point, maybe they make enough money that they can typically just write a check for whatever. so whenever there's a thousand of something or 999 of something and they're all spoken for some people just can't take no for an answer and are willing to to pay whatever amount of money there is it just sucks for the little guy it does always i mean always you know like what if you know hypothetically this is somebody's dream theme yeah they've been saving for 10 years like okay i got 10 grand i will say everyone as soon as they announce it everyone everyone who's on it are anywhere list that was like of that like because we had people who were like 18 months two years back who were like i don't care what company makes it beetlejuice correct we made sure they got no we were talking about it today bet gallagher out of pittsburgh had come to me it was like march of 2023 yeah uh and we were at pin brew and she's like if they ever make a Beetlejuice game that is like the one game that I absolutely want above all others so on and so forth and as soon as this rumor was confirmed I went to her and she's like yes I absolutely want one and we're going to make that happen so I think my one of the takeaways too is like if you want to get on a list for something the next spooky game or whatever that's fine we'll put you on it but that's not the same as like if you have a specific dream theme that you are passionate about please share that you want my little pony I was going to say you won my little pony with Jeff. I'm hoping for the American Girl doll one coming here soon. Please share the specific themes with us over just the most general stuff. Yeah, if you want to know the next spooky, that's fine too. But if it's something specific, I feel like that's more useful. I think it's more useful, but I also can see the side of it. If I'm spooky pinball and I have people out there saying, I want the next ten spookies no matter what they are, I'm blushing because of that. You're so hyped about my product that no matter what it is, you want the next 10 of it. And you have no clue of the theme or anything about it. It's easy to get on that list, though. So it's just like you have to maintain each game, though, too. Yeah, exactly. Everything can change quickly. No, it's all a very interesting dynamic. And I think all of us seeing the same sort of market in other interests in our lives, whether it's concert tickets or cars or video games or, I mean, like, Pokemon cards have been this way since, like, Pokemon. Vinyl, man. Vinyl, yeah. all these different things to where it's like, Oh, it's a limited run and bots and whatever else, like in our little niche hobby, it's interesting to see that kind of filter. And, and for me at the end of the day, it's unfortunate. Or the beginning of the day. It's just woke up. It's unfortunate to see that sort of stuff happen. Like it's, it's a disappointing to me and I understand why it is and I understand why the way it works. And if I were on the other side of it and I had a deposit and somebody was offering me $3,000 over my investment or $4,000 or $5,000. Everyone most likely has an amount to where they're like, yeah, take my spot for that. $50,000 for this rotation eight? Yeah, exactly. I wasn't going to sell it, but. No, Corbin and I had a little bit of a brief conversation about that earlier today. $25,000 on special. Yeah, where it was like, just how it be sometimes. But unless you guys have any other little nuggets here from your trip up to the Great White North. Just want to say thanks to Don and all the spooky guys AJ, thanks man, it was a great time Morgan, Bug, everybody I hope to be a part of the next one or whatever the next event is Even if we have to speak it into existence So if you're listening I think this last Evil Dead coming off the line party is a really good idea We'll sign it too We can borrow Don's house Okay, so let's talk about events We have the food drive coming up on Sunday at Finney's Yes. Oh, and here's a Jaws premium, and there's Adam's family, and I'm just like, my Indy 500. He was looking at you, kid. It's just absolutely insane. But get out there and support your local launch parties. Play some pinball. Yeah, we're coming up here the week of Thanksgiving where a lot of people are traveling and you're in town or you have people in town. Get out there and support your local arcade. If you're going to go out and bar hop and do whatever else, go play some pinball. Take some folks that maybe are not traditional players and show them the joy that is pinball. And when you're ready to buy a pinball machine, call or email Corbin at MadPinball.com. Yeah. What is that, 330-933- Whoa, whoa, whoa. Another 1,300 miles. Oh, that's it? That's it. 17 hours in a car. Benton's, what, 550 from here, I think? Yeah, it was almost triple what we went, yeah. Any other final thoughts, Corbin? No, I think that sums it up. Excited to get this house back together. Oh, yeah. I'm very interested to follow that. That's one of the things we've got to talk about. Maybe we can put it out there and let the people pick. Or not. We can put it out there, but if there's decisions, right, right. Oh, veto. Just kidding. Just kidding. Any other final thoughts, Zach? No, just get out there, play some pinball. I agree. Be excited for Beetlejuice. Be excited. More excited. I don't know. That's positive for everything. Yeah. Be excited for everything. Think, you know, whenever these new games are coming out, that multiple, multiple people and persons have a lot of time. Any of them. Give it a chance before you shit on it. Yes. Yes. Your first reaction. Try not to be so negative. Try to look at things in a positive light. There's no bad pinball. There's only bad pinball owners. And with that, Kyle, play us out with the jingle here. The best game. Ghost game. That's the pedophile. Good night, everybody. Bye.
