Now, who's respons== Foundation geshade me yepкой Yes, that covers all the hard-hitting news of pinball with the soothing power of Retsin. Of course I'm talking about the pinball junk drawer. Big show 49. My name's Spoghorn Leghorn and with me as always, Craft Brew Sally. Craft Brew Retsin? No, that's wrong. Serts. Serts Brew Sally. Oh, that's all said. I will say I'm going to try and not let this I know this is going to go to my head, but you know that we've made it. You want to know how we made it? How have we made it? When you get an email from slippy Slappy Skateboarder Glenn saying that we have made it to his auto download list. Oh, that's amazing. Blamtown. Thank you, Glenn. Yes, all I can say is nothing else really matters. You can take all your metrics and your numbers and your fancy hoity-toity, I'm going to Stern C BarICEOVERpinball in the backbox of a Jose Fernandez, RazaRhett Nared flying me in Franchiramer from Zimbabwe to visit their Stern Factory. Well you can stick it. We got the endorsement of skateboarderGlenn, and that's all you really need to be happy in life. Right. That and pinball, and beer. Yes. Well, I guess an electric and air conditioning. Enough of that. Okay, sorry about that. But yes, thank you very much Glenn. It is always awesome knowing that someone gives a crap. I know, right. So what are you going to do? We had an exciting week. We did. We have a top 10 list because everyone loves those. We had an exciting trip we'll talk about a little bit. What do you want to tackle first? Let's do our top 10 list. Well, not top 10 but like... No. This is a little bit different. Now, in our hobby, you know, there's usually a couple different things. Everyone does the dream themes because that's just, well, I want to tell the world what I like. Right. Who cares about that? What would you say the two things that kinda control everyone's pinball collection? Their money. That's one. And availability. Nope. Space. Space. So either you have tons of money and you're like, well I only have room for X amount of machines. Right. Or I have a big basement but boy, my pockets have those, I turn them out and there's moths coming out of them. That's us. We have a lot of space. A lot of space and not enough money to make a finished basement. So I don't know. We're in priorities everyone. So we thought what would be fun is let's come up with a list of 10 machines. Now this isn't pinball machines. You have a basement. You just won the golden ticket. Someone said I will buy 10 of whatever machine you want right now. No questions asked. Money is no object. So what are your 10 machines that's going to make? That's all you have room for. What are you putting in? You have 10 things and it doesn't have to be pinball. No. It's anything. Well. Any game related thing. It's not like a machine that drops gold bars. Oh, that would be the top of the list. Exactly. Well, then you wouldn't have any room anyway. Just keep moving. Gold bars. So what is your, let's hear yours. So my first one is a red tent. Nintendo red tent. Yes. And it would have Dr. Mario. Yes, an Excitebike. I don't know. Dr. Mario on both sides. No, I can't. I only thought of one. The Dr. Mario. So whatever's on the other side, that's fine. You remember that thing from Replay Magazine I showed you last month where they had like a prototype that you could stand at? Yes. It was like a standing desk but it was a red tent. I was like, wow, that's pretty cool. That would be awesome. Alright, so you got a Nintendo red tent. What's your second machine? I also have the Bowler, which we already have, so we don't have to buy that. Oh, the Rockin' Namco Bowler? Yes. I love that. It's a good machine. It's a fun machine. I love that, yes. I think, from what I understand, we got, the guy that reconditioned and fixed it, like, if you get the fixed versions, it's great. If you get the other, the kind that wasn't fixed, not so great. So we got a fixed one. Yeah, he like made them bulletproof. Like it has a different hard drive, it has a different, like it's the same machine, but it's fixed, I guess. Oh, nice. Way to go, guy. Yeah, yay for that. Yeah. All right, so, okay, what else you got? What's your third machine? This one you may, you may know. Oh. A skeeball. I've been wanting a skeeball for... I look every week. I always look and I'm always like, you know, there's like one that's floating around that's like, it's a skeeball but there's like basketball hoops in the back. I was like, well that's not a skeeball. No, I don't need that. It's a very particular one. Now if we could get enough money for that Pac-Man one, I'd probably have to strong arm you and go with the new one. Yeah. I would be fine with that. I just want a skeeball. Doesn't matter. Yeah, I always look for the old style ones because those are cooler. Right. What else? What's your next one? So I, of course, go right to Godzilla, which we have. Yes. And the Beatles because those are on my list where they would not leave. Yeah, okay, cool. Okay. And then because we were at Lumberjack Johnny's, I was like, ooh. A beer machine. No. No, you know. Okay, what? That's something that's totally different. Okay, go ahead. But that James Bond. The sixth one? The limited edition one. No, it's the... Oh, the L... Okay, the L.A. The... Yeah, the gold... Gold one. Yeah. Nice. Gold member. Gold finger. Sure. Gold member. Sure. Austin PowersCrossover, gold member. Right. All right. So, what else you got? Also, because of our road trip, I discovered that I would really like to have an Elvira. Yeah. Okay. Wow. Right. Right. Right. Later on oh my god Right But of course they have announced that there is going to be a Harry Potter Right So since money isn an object I would be like to get the Harry Potter Yeah of course But I don know because it not Stern Yeah we see Yeah This might be good Right Alright So then that leaves me with Arknoid Arknoid Arknoid Oh like with the real the real controller Right the real dial Yeah Yeah nice Okay And then let I have one. One more. Okay. What do you got? My last one is a side-by-side driving machine. Mario Kart. It doesn't have to be MarioKart. No. Oh, no. You want, because we could actually do that one. Yeah. You want to tell the back story to that? Because it was hilarious. I think you should tell it. Alright, well, we like go into the, was it Expo? I think it was Expo. Okay, we go into Expo like three or four years ago. It's like the first day.had hangout week and it was also like week 11 before opens because no one cares that i think they did care in it doesn't matter more than based on the regional læand there was carts and the access of the Greece in and he finds his second plugs ided racing game item number was like man rival Korean figures like and then I don't think they're great. The same to me 11's record, or any loans on the other here emotionally last year I think you like blew up and crashed and killed children and... I was so bad at it. I was like, what's going on? I just laugh it. It was like a minute and a half of laughing and then you fell out of the cockpit like Johnny Cash getting out of a Ferrari. Look that up on YouTube folks, it's hilarious. Yeah, it was... I don't know. I was so terrible at it and it's like... I guess I was always bad at pole position. And I look over you and I was like, you know how to drive a car, right? This is the same as I'm driving the car. You're just driving the car. It's not though. It's not at all. Cause you're doing like 200 or whatever. Yeah, like that's how I drive my car to work every day. What if I had a car that's doing 200? Very good. That was a good list. Now mine's a bit more unconventional. So I'm gonna get the pinball machines out first cause I have a pretty... First one's gonna be Attack from Mars. Oh, damn it. I forgot about that. And Godzilla. And then I have Elvira. The BloodRedKiss Edition because that's what we played this weekend. My God, that's the most beautiful thing ever. Then I have Centigrade 37, which is an old game that I just love. I don't know if I've ever played that one. I love that game. And then Pulp Fiction. I had an open slot and we played Pulp Fiction a lot this weekend and boy did I love that game. Then after that I have Star Castle, which is that old game I just love. Tazka Rizal, and I was gonna put a main cabinet there, but instead I put a Neo Geo Big Red 4 SLIDE. Oh, yeah. Cause' I can buy the cartridges. Kind of the same thing as a main cabinet, but it's just all Neo Geo stuff. But I think they're cool. Yeah, they're not even hard to get. I don't know what my problem is. I have to get one sooner or later. Okay. And then I got to get a Golden Tee Machine because that's for craft for selling. That's not on my list. I'm going to get a 1962 AMI Continental Jukebox. That's the one that looks like the R2D2 head and then it has that offset the names of the records or the names of the songs are on that panel that's like rounded behind it. One of those. And then I want to get a Strike Zone by Williams puck bowler because I need a puck bowler. I have a couple honorable mentions. Skeeball for crafter Sally. I thought about a mold injection machine. I had so much fun with that mold injection machine at Freeplay Florida. So cool. I don't know how, what would you do, how many of those could you have? I have a feeling I would have a lot more than I should. I'll just say that. Everybody would have them. Every Christmas everyone would just have boxes of mold injection. And of course a main machine. Those are my honorable mentions. Nice list. So, you know, hey, if you want to tell us what your ten machines would be, We would love to hear. Go ahead, give them the contact info. You can email us at pinballjd at gmail.com Pinballjd for Pinball Jump Tour. I also have a link in the show notes so don't fret just go to the show notes and click on it. So S S S S S Glenn. Yes. Please send us your list. Yeah, tell us what you think. So now we had a bit of an adventure this week. What was the adventure? So, we got invited to go and spend the afternoon with Don's Pinball Podcast. Yeah, it was a special event. Right, they unboxed the new John Wick LE. Oh my god, is that gorgeous. Yeah, it is beautiful. So you can actually, if you watch Don's Pinball Podcast live stream on YouTube, he has the event, the unboxing of the LE, and you can see me helping. I think I might be in there too. It was a lot of fun. Don's a really nice guy. I like his podcast. I honestly do. He's an intriguing guy. When we got there, it was very cool just to meet him, see how much energy he brings to the pinball world. It's great. He had a ton of 3D printing stuff. He's prototyping. C Cowboy??? backpunkt approxx C Britain The It was perfectly No more AAAA According to this guarantee E wandering You can here it It I love that machine I love that movie It just it brought me right back to it and it like a throwback kind of a cool it just a cool machine I really really loved Pulp Fiction and the Big Lebowski Big Lebowski was fun I had never played that before No you know Never saw one before No And it had the rug and he had that that bowling game that you can go to It so wild Like there a under the playfield There a bowling bowling alley that you like it goes kind of the ball shoot goes back and forth and then you have to like push A pinball show. Yeah, a skill shot. Plunger button. It was neat. It was fun. It was a fun game. That was. What else did he have? He had Star Wars. He had Star Wars. He had Stranger Things. He had the Blood Red Kiss. Yeah, the Blood Red Kiss, the Elvira Blood Red Kiss, that quickly shot the charts to one of my favorite, most beautiful games I've ever seen. Right. You know, I heard people say that and I'm like, okay, you know, people blah, blah, blah. But when you see that in real life and you're like standing there. I played it and played it and I was like, oh my god, I love this machine. Right, I love those. What did you call them? Deadheads. Deadheads, I love those. I don't know why. They're just so fascinating to me. I couldn't hit that damn crypt shot and I was always like, I was good at hitting that. I couldn't get it dialed in like, I think I was still just all over the place. Right. So it had, it had Wonka, I think he had it out on trade with somebody else. Right. And he had Stranger Things and he had Lamp, Labyrinth. DOM Click here for previews... I was a good it was a nice machine I I don't I never gave that much thought but they do serve a very good purpose as far as like when you know I want to like look at a game or like learn the rules of a game there it is yeah you know it's never gonna replace an actual pinball machine but it's it's great for like exposure to the tables and seeing stuff and it has the like sound like you can hear the ball rolling on the wood yeah yeah so and it was just very it was great to Turned out, it was an open시죠 I like the, um, that it keeps your progress as you go. Oh yeah, because I fired up his and when I logged in it took, I already had my points. I was like, yeah, that's right. Right. And, uh, you know, from what I understand they're going to do, use the, uh, uh, connected, insider connected to like ping that there's a new mission for John Wick to accept. Oh, that's awesome. And you like, you fire it up and you go play that, go try and play that mission. That thing is brilliant. It's cool. And boy, that stained glass back glass is so pretty. Uh-huh. That's a nice machine. Yeah, it was. I could see, what do you have, like number 46, I think? 46, yes. That's crazy. That's so low. Right. I was like, wow. It had a little piece of the suit that... Yeah, John Wick, that Keanu wore.acyk or Asi nasal Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's pretty neat. So yeah, big thanks. Thank you very much, Don. I know, I'm sure we'll meet up at Expo. I don't know. We'll just probably just say hi to him because he's gonna be running around like a lunatic. I guess so will we probably. Yeah, you will, for sure. He did remind me I well, he didn't remind me when I was talking to him. I was like, Oh, crap, I gotta start getting stuff together for it. I know it's in October, but October is gonna hit a lot faster. I know I want to have a big stack of them. Anyone On I was in Florida and I couldn't wear sweatshirts, but I like sweatshirts. Yes, you sure couldn't. I have quite a number of sweatshirts from breweries and the place that we got my pool stick from and... Everything. Yeah, it's crazy. I don't wear them. Disneyland. Yeah, fat guy. Not going to wear a lot of sweatshirts. Stern. I have Nature's sweatshirt. Fat. That's how that works. Oh. That's so sad. Oh well. I'm trying to think if we had anything else going on. Do you have anything else to go over? Not for that, I guess. I guess that's gonna do it. It's been a great week and you know, saw a lot of new pinball, played a lot of new pinball. Yeah, got a lot of boopy dupes. Yeah, sure did. Stern thing was going crazy. I am committed to like hitting some of these milestones. So I finally, I broke 60 games in a row and I'm going, I think I'm gonna try and keep going for the 120 straight. I'm going to keep working away at it and just putting my time in. I don't know. It something to do Right I think it time for everyone favorite segment don you Yes Roll out the barrel we have a barrel of fun Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun. The fans have spoken and we have listened. It's Beer Journal Review with me, Craft Brew Sally. Mounted.abethbacks Michell Lambert. And we're back, that's how you start. What do we got? I've decided that we're going to talk about a brewing company that makes really amazing beers. It is Dreker Brewing Company in Fargo, North Dakota. Oh yeah, Fargo! Right! Oh yeah, they throw you into wood chippers there. Only if you don't like their beer. Kinda funny looking. Oh Steve Buscemi, you're a national treasure. Right. So I was doing a little bit of research about Drekker and I was, it was, they seem like a very nice brewing company. They sound like they're a cop that lives by their own rules. I'm a drekker you get in here. I'm gonna take your badge and gun. No, okay. That's such a drekker sounds like to me. He like comes in and the angry lieutenant's screaming at him. He's like, but you're the only one that can get this done, drekker. Like that guy from that one movie that's like trying to play the hard-ass cop. Yeah. He's like, how's that? Was that good? No. Alright, go ahead. But they do a thing every month where they pick a local In todo colegio. Maite, how blue is your viktigt blog? Aista say a I'm a non-profit for a basement that needs to be finished. Do you think they'll... No. You're not local either. I could lie. I could put a P.O. box down the street from them. No. Nah, brah. You'd feel bad about that. I don't think I would. All right, go ahead. But I've tried probably 40 of their beers. Really? Yeah. Drekker's the one that you got me for Valentine's Day, though. You got me the 12 beers from Drekker. Yeah, I know. Well, yeah, they and I guess they do always have new stuff. Yeah, and I didn't realize how many they made. I looked them up on Untappd today and they have 680 beers on Untappd. That's a lot. Yeah, that is. That's 680 different beers. Yeah. Wow. They're, they, it seems like they don't make the same thing twice. Huh, and I thought when you said 40, I was like, wow, that's a lot. Right. I was like, no, that isn't anything. No, it's not. They, they make, um, all kinds. They make sours. Like fruited sours, IPAs, hard seltzers, all, they've all been good. One of my favorites was like a peanut butter and jelly. So you drank 6.25% of their beers. Hmm. I gotta get on that. Get on the ball here. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, I mean, every single thing that I've had from them has been amazing. That's cool. So now they're out of Fargo, North Dakota. You did say it wasn't that far to drive from. It's like eight hours from here. That's pretty far. It's not a weekend, but you never know. You never know. I will have you take me there. I'm assuming. It's like right on the Minnesota, North Dakota border. It looks like you just crossed the line and there it is. There you go. Over the line, Donnie. Yes. So there you go. Drecker. Drecker. So they do good for the community and their beers. You haven't had one that you didn't like, do you? No, not a single one. I think I've given them all like four and a half or five out of five. Now you don't, I'm sure they make like Imperial Stouts and stuff that you just don't buy. I don't know that they make stouts. I didn't see any. They make like Imperial IPAs and hard seltzers and I think they do maybe make a couple. I think they're more of the fruited sour. Yeah. And IPAs. That's what they're good at. Mm-hmm. So wonderful. Stick with it. So if you see Drecker, then just remember that that's a Craft Brew Sally approved brewery. Right. And if you do get it, let me know which one you have. And if you know them, direct them to this podcast. Maybe they'll send Craft Brew Sally a shirt or something. Oh, that would be awesome. I would wear it proudly. I do like sweatshirts. You would. Hey, Drecker, if you're listening, hook Craft Brew Sally up. She would very much enjoy that. All right. Anything else we did? I think we're good. I think we're good too. Thanks for listening. We will put the show notes. We'll have our contact info. Anna, drop us a line. Let us know what we might have missed on our 10 machines. Let us know if you're going to Expo. I know that's in October, but I'm already dreaming of Expo. I know. I'm all keyed up about pinball. I'm all hopped up for it. Yeah. This weekend, going out to Don's was a shot in the arm for the pinball like my brain. Right. I'm not doing stuff and doing different stuff. He also did give me a solution to a long standing problem I had for some of my upcoming topper builds, but I'll go into that closer to when I get them up and running and share with everyone some of the interesting things and lighting situations going on. All right, that's going to do it. Thanks for listening. This has been the Pinball Juncture Big Show 49. Stick around for next one. I can count. It's 50. Excellent. Yes, excellent. Indeed. See you next time everyone. That's it man. Game over man. Game over.
