So it's Thanksgiving and I feel like this is something I've actually wanted to do a video about since Chicago Expo and I think this video is probably the best the best time to talk about this and uh and it's basically me just speaking about how thankful I am for what I have and for what others have given me and um i and i want a lot of you out there to understand that if you don't get a call out during this do not take it offensively or anything like that because i know that i'm definitely going to either forget or just look over certain people and that's not my intentions obviously but there was just particular ones that really stood out to me and i wanted to just you know speak to a few of them and i've just made a short list here but eventually i will go over my chicago expo experience first off i guess the first thank you is to my platform. That would be to YouTube because what initially started as a distraction for me for what was going on in my life has turned into my hobby and allowed me to meet a numerous amount of great people that I now consider friends. And it has allowed me to experience things and go to places that I normally would not be able to. So, by all means, the platform that I'm on, YouTube, gets the first thank you on that The next one would be to my patreon supporters all of you out there willingly every month donate 1 5 20 uh i even got another individual that does more than that but and without a doubt that's a big thank you because that's not something that i even like request people or enforce or anything like that people do that all in their own accord and it's a it's amazing and i i got to meet a couple of those at the pinball expo as well and uh so then then the next up that i want to talk about is two people and that's uh timothy and Thomas Roth or also known as or better known the TNT Twins because without them especially on the final night of Chicago Expo I was worn out on my feet all day on that concrete floor not to mention it was the last day so it was definitely I was running on fumes and out of the kindness of their hearts they decided to help and pack everything up help me and scott load everything into his trailer all the way until three o'clock in the morning at least and they were about to begin their 12 plus hour drive back home and it was exhausting even with them helping and uh i don't know how much longer it would have taken and how much more exhausting it would have been without them and even more thanks because scott offered them free penn stadium product like here you go i mean we're talking like you know 500 retail pricing merchandise was trying to give them material and they turned it down they were like no we don't we're not doing this to get anything back. I think there's a lot of you out there that give the twins a lot of grief for your own reasons, but by all means, my experience is completely different, and without a doubt, a big thank you goes out to them for being there for me that weekend, and by all means, I consider them friends, especially after that weekend. But also along with that, of course, is good old Todd Tuckey. He was actually the first person that I ran into when I arrived at the hotel in Chicago. Him, Matt Frank, and John, and a number of other people and stuff like that. But Jillian, like I said, I'm trying not to forget anybody, and I know I am. And again, I apologize. But he was the first person I ran into and every meal or drink that I had with this man he took care of That was all on him he did it all on his own he he wanted to one of the best men in this hobby I glad to know him and call him a friend it someone that I used to watch religiously everything on YouTube whenever I first got into this hobby so definitely a couple years ago it was pretty awesome to actually meet him in person so to now be able to just kind of hang out with him and go places with him and you know break bread with the man is even more of a an experience and something that's very cool and I'm very thankful for on that as well Scott Darren from Penn Stadium without him I would not have been able to travel to Expo. The two that I've gone to. Without him, I wouldn't be able to attend. Because when it comes to reserving the hotel and getting the time off of work, it's difficult for me. So I was unsure if I was even going to be able to attend the Expo. It was pretty last minute. but he offered to pay my way and get me there so I could help him out plus it gave me the ability to go to Chicago and see all my friends and stuff like that and have the experience that I had so without a doubt thank you to him for allowing me to do that and without a doubt It's one of those things that people have their own opinions about his product, and it's one of those things where I stand behind the product, but I also stand behind the man behind it. He's one of those that cares deeply about his product and is always there for his customers. So I stand as much behind him as a person as I do behind the product that he builds by his own two hands. so there's that and it's one of those things guys where i got to meet so many people over the weekend that recognized me knew who i was and it's not i'm still not used to that it's it's uh weird but it's also cool at the same time obviously i'd be lying if i said i found it annoying or anything like that no it's definitely cool and it's it's interesting to look back that over the past couple of years to see how that has um you know the attention has gone up more and more every year uh and it was i don't say it's funny but during the show you know some of the kind and thoughtful words that I got from a numerous amount of people there Um just to let them know how they they let me know how much I influenced or affected them on a personal level as well as in the hobby and thoughts and and stuff like that it without a doubt I was emotionally touched many times and it was it was quite an experience and there was even a couple of times where I did get a little emotional because I didn't think that I would, what I do can, I guess, affect certain people to that extent. So to get the actual visual and audio feedback from individuals in the flesh really made it more personal because I'm used to only seeing comments on YouTube kind of thing. That's typically all I've got to go by when it comes to how people feel about me. Also that weekend, I never had to buy a single drink. I was getting my drinks purchased by other individuals and by all means to those out there that bought me a beer, thank you very much. Although I think I had maybe a little bit too much on Wednesday night because I regretted it the next day that's for damn sure i mean i'm obviously thankful for everything else going on in my life with my friends my family um work i'm thankful for all that but this is something different this is like a different side of what's going on in my life that my even my close friends don't typically watch my youtube content and stuff like that so i wanted to make sure that you guys were aware that I'm incredibly thankful for what I have and I'm incredibly thankful for everything that you guys do for me whether it be just a simple little thumbs up on my videos kind of thing that means a lot whether you think it does or not just simple things like that always help. I don't know. I feel like this video is pretty sappy and stuff. I might not even post it. But, again, thank you guys. I hope I can get this uploaded in time on Thanksgiving. I'm sure a lot of you won't see it until after. But, hopefully you had a great Thanksgiving. And we'll see what comes this holiday season, including a diet for me because I know I put on at least 10 pounds this week due to all the food that I have taken in.
