Why did the snake cross the road to get to the other side? Hey, don't give me all the credit. I just saw that on a sign out front. I'm Mike Dus and [music] this is Pinball Shenanigans. [music] All right, I think it's about time for another Grazley Garage episode here. Uh, quick side note and shout out to Dave Johnson aka Pez Johnson. Everybody just got their uh, YouTube like annual review and uh, turns out he is top like 1% viewer of pinball shenanigans. So uh, shout out to Pez. I'm sure you're watching this as well. So I'm going to head over to the Grazley garage. I got to help Kevin fix issue or two. He's stumped on some lighting issue. I'm going to see if I can sort him out. I brought some tools, brought some empties. We'll do that while I'm out. Got a box there. Actually, I got a DMD that I got to ship out to someone in BC. But if we can get all this uh all these issues resolved, then um afterwards, we'll go for a little tour, see what's going on over there. Recently, we unboxed four arcade games from the '7s, and those videos will be coming soon. So, now that they're unboxed, might as well show you what they all are all in one video, cuz I got an unboxing video coming for each individual item. But, it'll be nice to see what we all unboxed all in one video, and then maybe uh I can show you to what degree they are functioning or not. and then I can show you um what Kevin's been working on pinball wise. He's making some good progress on Stern Stars. He is making some good progress on Evil Conval and he has done the $6 million man. So maybe we'll give that a little play and um ship that machine off to Brian. He's coming to get that soon. And uh yeah, I think uh might be other couple miscellaneous things there. Oh yeah, side note, Kevin and I are going to be tag teaming on a new project. It is going to be Interflip Alaska fourplayer em. And I am currently the only registered owner of that game on Pinside. So it's pretty incredibly rare and should be a fun project. So Kevin's going to do the cabinet. I'm going to do the playfield and probably hire Cory to help with the uh electro mechanics of it all unless I can figure out myself, which I may be able to. Just might take me 3 weeks instead of Cory might take him like 20 minutes. So I know he started on the cabinet a little bit and maybe I'll bring the playfield home with me. But yeah, so that's what's going on. I'll see you at the Grazley garage.
Okay, I made it to the Grazley garage. The shenanigans have already begun. Let's go see what's going on.
We got the do
is in the house.
And his son Hudson.
We got Kevin and Dutch. Dutch is just uh
What are you doing down there, Dutch?
Reattached this jumper that you guys initially put on there. Don't try this at home.
When all your fuse clips Oh no,
what have I done?
When all your fuse clips are garbage, all you do is jumper them in order to get things to work. That is the the lepping way.
So, but when you break the jumpers, that doesn't uh help the cost.
Monte Carlo one alligator clip zero.
Well, we're going to try and uh get Monte Carlo working here. And uh
D or Hudson are going to give it a test drive and and see how they can perform. But uh also check this out. This is uh this is the Alaska here. I got uh my first look at it after Kevin put it on legs.
And it is a piece of work. Oh my god. I'm scared of this project.
Monte Carlo won.
He broke it. Monte Carlo won.
It's It's no good now.
Okay. Have a closer look at this Alaska. She's in some pretty rough shape here. Look at this.
Right here.
I don't think that coil activates. We got uh some rusty rails.
The art on the playfield is actually pretty awesome. [snorts]
I like the colors. Fluorescent everything. We got uh mostly original drop targets here.
Some crusty rubbers. Here you go, Hudson. That's for you. Oh, sorry. Bad throw. [snorts] It's a little souvenir for you. Let's see if these actually drop. So, like there's no way that I'm going to be able to find replacement drop targets. So, might have to borrow from the one player Alaska. This is the four player. And um I mean this does kind of look like
the same shape with the little contour on the bottom there. So, this could be possibly
Allied Leisure Drop Target or someone modified it. I don't know. But they don't seem to like to drop all the way either. Maybe that's an adjustment. I think that we should uh show off what functionality we do have with these uh these games here. But anyway, uh oh, look, there's another drop target here. Or is that Oh, that's a standup target. It's cool looking Huskys.
Don't break these clips. You will never find replacement pop bumper caps. And have a look in here. So, I guess there was a mouse nest in here. Um, I guess this used to be the power cord. And
we got some pretty uh
rusty stuff going on here. Look, this is not budging. That looks like it's got hot. Got this relay floating around down here. All of the uh labels are in Spanish. Requento bonus and double bonus. Oh, single double bonus. Auxilary. Requento bonus and triple bonus.
So, here's some remnants of
maybe the original.
Uh, envelope possibly.
So, Kevin is not going to do like a full restoration of the cabinet. He's just going to improve it. more like a refurbishment.
This is Allied Industries.
Uh I think he's gonna replace the back here.
Yeah.
We're gonna do some powder coating of some legs uh and repowder coat this lock door, lock uh coin door,
and uh polish the lock bar and side rails. It will all go orange, so it'll look pretty sweet.
But anyway, this is going to be a lot of work. searching around for it.
But uh hopefully it won't fight us too hard. Look at these little saucers. Those are kind of cute.
But it works, right?
Yeah.
Also, Kevin is uh working on playfield swap here for evil conval. This is uh
What do you got to cut?
This is the brand new CPR evil conval over here. Isn't that pretty? See, he's got my uh
busy
stern board here to make me up some brackets. How you making out over there with the uh fuse clips?
We're figuring it out.
All right.
Wheel over here.
Do you want to show off uh these guys here? Let's uh let's have a look at these. Plug them in. And
they don't do anything.
They there's some bings and bongs and doorbells and lights and
they do stuff. I don't really do stuff and it's going to take you
Yeah. Yeah.
I want to show the boys and girls at home. So, these these are the things we unboxed. We've got ricochet two-player pong style game. We've got computer baseball. It looks like a fun game. You got to like plunge this ball up into the zone up here and try and get, you know, home runs and stuff. We've got Allied Leisures Hesitation, which is now on legs. It's like a fourplayer Pong style game. Imagine it just starts working. Here we go. See, we got digits. [snorts] We've got a light.
Fuses there.
Yeah. And then uh did [clears throat] we add credits? Here we go. Yep. We got a light bulb. This is something.
Yeah. It doesn't do anything.
But didn't we get bleeps and bloops last time? Not out of this.
We didn't Oh, wait. It's happening. Something.
See? I don't know what's happening.
But numbers are incrementing. I'm moving paddles. Oh, see? Told you it works.
We got one one bloop. [laughter]
I think the game works. I
I think the there's a ball maybe bouncing around and uh something's happening. But
actually, you know, the CRT off that the game works
under four.
Yeah.
Hear that? Game over. I won.
Perfect.
There's hesitation for you. Okay. So, that's hesitation.
I invented the wheel. I think I fixed it.
Oh, nice. Okay. Now, let's move over to computer baseball. So Dutch and I and Kevin
just have like a fuse on the main monitor when you get digging into it.
Is there Yeah. Is there a fuse for the monitor?
I think it's old school stuff. It'll be fuses all over the place.
If we can get the CRT working, that would be pretty sweet.
I mean, it's NOS, so
computer baseball. Okay, so this we were looking for images of this.
There you are. that
on the internet and one doesn't exist until now. I posted the only known photo of this on the internet that we could find on the Clav website.
The guy bought five of them.
We we uh we know of another owner though. So, here's computer baseball. We got lights. Unfortunately, that's as far as we get on this, but there's like four giant capacitors on the back and they're all kind of exploding. So, don't Cory said that because of that it's not going to work. But there you have it. We've got lights. I want to play this game so bad. It looks fun. It may be fun for 5 minutes, but we'll enjoy those 5 minutes. Okay, that's computer baseball.
We're moving on to ricochet circular cocktail headto head pong style game here.
I'm stuck. Help me. Oh, so you got one guy on this side. This is made by um Is this the Oh, Nutting and Associates. [bell]
Hello.
Come on in.
Yeah, it's actually that's the startup chime.
It's a doorbell.
Yeah, it's legit doorbell. There's original paperwork.
So then there's another set of controls on the other side there.
But let's see if we hit this. Do we need credits?
Probably. Where's the coin door? Is on the on the tarp side
here. It's on this side here. I think you got to like fold down that whole panel.
This is actual.
There we go.
Chain there.
There's a coin switch.
Where did it go? Is that it?
Okay. Oh, look. Look. You can tell it's working because
the coin meter's going up.
Yep. 51 games played.
Well, actually zero games played, but
yeah, that's just like whatever factory testing or something.
No, they are.
Okay, so we got credits.
Here we go.
Starting it.
Game on. I'm in.
There is beeps and bloops on this, too. I swear.
Oh, try pressing the serve ball button.
Okay. Wait,
is this like rocker switch the the start button?
Maybe. Well, that's either start one or two player.
I put two player.
Yeah,
same thing.
H
we had bleeps and bloops last time, but
no ricochet today,
but there's that. All right. Did you have luck with the jumper cable for Monte Carlo?
I haven't checked it, but I think it works.
Okay. Okay. Well, let's uh
I basically took the old jumper cable, cut off the one I broke and went ungaba squeeze.
Perfect.
Okay. Well, in that case, you got a
jumper cable shenanigans.
Let's plug her in. Hudson, you ready for some action? So,
as a man with his driver's license, this is exactly like driving a real car.
Oh, yeah.
Except it's a worldwide web here in a minute.
You're going to be famous, man. This will be 100,000 views and
Oh, easy minutes.
Yeah.
Okay. So, we got to uh give you an American quarter cuz it doesn't like Canadian quarters. Take that. Go feed that over here in the top left. Grab a seat.
But be warned, as soon as you put it in, the game starts.
Okay. Don't start yet. Just make sure you're like good. So, you got
Okay. Yeah. Just give a little test here. Left and right for the wheel. Keep your foot on the pedal. That'll go up and down. When you hit this button, it's gonna launch the ball out of this guy here. And then you got to navigate the maze. You're gonna need a little extra ump over the bridge possibly. You got to try and get it all the way into the bonus hole. None of us have done that yet.
So, if you can get it in there, then you'll be the grand champion.
Okay, here we go. The audio should kick in.
All right, get going.
Yep, we're good. We're good. You got probably um I'd say about a minute.
Oh, it's time.
Yeah, but if you uh drop into one of the holes, then you can just start over.
And even if you run out of time, you can still play, but you just won't earn a bonus game.
So, it takes a minute to get used to it, but
the controls aren't
doing good so far.
Let's uh zoom in here. You're going to need some extra speed for that bridge, though.
Yeah, you can kind of hug that rail there and then slam it.
Going to have to like release hard. Yeah. Yeah.
Or you might need some more wind up.
You got to kind of let go of that pedal real quick.
But you might need to go back around and kind of
give it some momentum. And it might not be on the best angle either. Almost
try and go back up a little bit higher up here.
Okay. Just uh hit the button again.
Whoa, you almost jumped over the bridge.
It happens sometimes.
Yeah,
we allow it.
Okay. Yes, there it is. Okay,
there we go. Final. That's right. You can still finish it off here. You just won't earn a free game. Uh, I got to number 10.
All right, Dutch, you want to give it a shot?
All right. I think I've tied you with the whole 18 or something.
Okay, you're going to have to reach in the cabinet and find the American quarter again. [snorts]
Like a cherry,
but this is very unified.
Super fun. Super cool game. Out of the four things we unboxed,
this is the only one that worked.
Well, yeah, it would be helpful if the others worked, but I can't imagine them being as fun or cool as this game.
All right,
here Dutch goes. He's got a little bit of practice on this game.
A little bit. I've played like four games.
Let's see how he navigates these turns here. The bridge nailed it. Uh-oh, you're dead. Uh-oh.
You hesitated there.
Okay. Once you get the hang of it, you can really whip around these curves. It's just getting to that bonus hole. There's too many obstacles. All right, here we go. This is the tricky part. It
doesn't turn far enough. A You got to nail it. Last chance here.
It doesn't turn far enough to the left. You
got to go fast. Yeah, you just got to rip through there. Here we go. Going to run out of time in like 5 seconds here. Can he pull it off?
Oh, don't Oh, no. I told you you got to be fast.
How do you pokey? You just got to work.
You got to crank that freaking gas, man.
The gas is cranked.
He's all
You're stalled out. You're stalled out. Got to check your gas.
The belts are worn out in this thing.
Okay, here we go.
You're going to run out of time. Oh man,
the belts are worn out. I'm telling you,
no grand champion trophy for you.
Professional driver.
I've got the trophy. Oh yeah. You want me to give it a go?
Yeah, cuz you robbed it from me. Get the bonus ball right now.
You had to go like do work or school or something.
Yeah, I had to go to training.
Lame. Hope this guy drove [snorts] good.
All right. All right, professional driver world's watching.
Okay, internet. This is how you do it.
Speedun. Oh, are you serious? Can't tell if I failed on that. Come on. My release must have been bad. Oh So, here we go. Bugger thought you broke the seat. Ah, you changed the angle.
What is happening?
Oh, big talker. Big talker.
Come on.
Can't even make it over the bridge. You're going to run out of time here.
These kids, man. There we go.
Okay.
Wow. That was a struggle.
All right. Come on. I'm going to run out of time.
Go fast. Got to go fast. Oh, slick loss. Okay, I'm calling it.
I'd say I'm the winner.
Okay. Okay.
All right. Let's uh have a look under the hood of this Alaska. I'm a little scared.
Oh, I'm a little scared cuz this playfield's already sitting at an angle.
Yeah, I think the legs are I don't know, not level or something.
I think there's something wrong with the rails.
Okay, here we go. First look at the inards. Plastic shield here. Uh, wonder if that's a soundboard, eh?
Well, I speaker there.
I wonder.
Oh, yes.
I remember um Dragon had sound as well. Electronic sound.
Was that the sound? [snorts]
Got a few fuses here. Oh, an old like European outlet. Oh, another loose relay here. That's great. Corey, you got your work cut out for you here, buddy. Because
another one down there further down.
If this thing doesn't work, if that's seized, that's going to be a problem.
I don't know, man. This is uh
I don't know how much hope we have for this. I was happy that it was going to be that it was the EM version cuz Whoa.
Holy crap. Look at all this. Do any of these even move?
Yes.
Yay. One. Two.
I don't know how this is supposed to move. These are kickouts. Okay. So, this goes. Hey, look at that.
This one's a little stubborn. And okay. Well, you know.
Oh, it's dual coils.
Oh, is it?
Yeah. Look at that.
Oh, yeah. One here. Oh, so maybe the coil that I was looking at earlier wasn't actually burnt. It's just brown wrappers on it. Okay,
they move.
That's good. Interesting. Mech there.
It's probably more reliable.
Flippers. [clears throat] How are they? This is like Williams style flippers, I think.
Yeah, but way longer, it looks like.
Oh, another fuse bank. Anyway, we uh definitely got our work cut out for us on this project. Another interesting to note is that these uh side rails are actually plastic. They're not wood and they're split at the back here so that the um back apron can slot in there. And also uh do you want to pull out this playfield a bit cuz I want to show the back here. It's uh we thought it was like 8 in plastic but look at this. That is a/4 in thick plexiglass on this guy. So, that ain't going to wear. Pretty cool.
Good cut.
Okay, we've moved over to the Grazley Garage Arcade. The boys are uh playing some Astro cab fighting action over there.
And uh first take a quick peek at this 1973 computer space. This is basically the Humpty Dumpty of the arcade world. This was the industry game changer. The first commercially made arcade game ever. And this is the two-player green version with joysticks. I think they made two players without joysticks, but uh green was the only color they did in two-player. This isn't working. But the fact that Kevin and Dutch pulled this out of the uh quote unquote barn that they did along with the other new and box games is uh quite something. To have this in the arcade is just super cool. It's
just like retro futuristic. Kind of has got a big
ET head looking shape to it. Kind of. Wouldn't you say?
Kind of looks like ET. And [music] here is the serial number.
It's made by Nutting and Associates.
Uh this was um Nolan Bushnull's creation. You may know him from Atari. This was like one of his first things he ever uh did.
And there's the instruction card. It's missing some wiring and stuff. But the boards are still here. So, one can certainly restore this to its former glory. But pretty cool just to even own this thing for a little bit and check it out. Don't know that uh we're going to be able to play it. Hi, Dutch. Are you kicking Hudson's butt here?
I currently did actually just lose this game.
Oh, yeah. Oh, good. I am half and half.
All right. Rubber match here.
Real match right now.
Who should I play? I'll let you pick.
Okay. We'll watch a quick little match here.
I I would like you to pick um
this one.
The worst character in
Hudson. Did you already pick?
Okay.
One of the best characters. I'm playing the absolute worst character.
Ah, okay. You're welcome.
But I know the moves. [music]
So, yeah. For all you uh arcade enthusiasts out there, this is kind of a unique setup. I guess these Astro City arcade cabinets are uh pretty rare, especially in North America.
Is that true, Dutch?
Rare in the world. No, North America.
Okay. Uncommon, we could say then.
Yeah. People import them all the time.
Oh, yeah. Okay. But if you're going to like some Japanese arcade, it would just be full of these. Okay,
they didn't have just arcade cabs like we have here,
right?
Generic cabs like these.
And these are linked and uh so you can play headto head and Dutch. Oh,
nice cheeks.
Thank you.
You're welcome. [laughter]
All right, so moving on to uh check out the evil conneal. Check this out. This is a another machine that's been commissioned by our buddy JC John Terrest. Kevin is done with the cabinet. And as you saw in the garage there,
he has started to work on the playfield swap. This is going to be a full restoration.
Stars is coming next. This thing turned out incredible. It's got the Grageley garage seal of approval. Look at that
beautiful stencil job. Intricate details.
Lots of stars.
All the metals are polished. Mirror finish here. Look at that coin door. It's beautiful. And it's got the extra plastic set. So, coin inserts. This cool um coin door. plastic keychain plastic. All the chimes and chime box parts have been sand blasted and spray painted. Also this uh piece for the head, the prop rod and bracket it is uh a beautiful thing.
We've got the topper
custom apron cards ready to go. Look at this. Even the power switch bracket has been um blasted and painted. Some of the uh coin door parts on the backside too, it looks like. But uh yeah, this is going to be uh pretty incredible when it's all said and done. It's basically the same treatment that this stars just got, which we're going to probably get Paul Der to play us our first game on it since it's been uh sort of tweaked and chopped up and since the playfield went in just yesterday. It's been a couple tweaks and adjustments that we've had to do,
but it is uh darn near [laughter] complete here. This is uh 99% done. It's also got the cool extra little uh Oh, Derer's pointing out the one thing. We were missing two rubbers, but uh I
only have one, so we still have both.
Yeah, JC will add a couple more blue rubbers there once he gets this. But yeah, this is also John Test's machine. He's going to be picking this up in a couple days. But yeah, I see you found a spot where this um
Yeah, originally it was supposed to kind of go back here, but it's like the glass was in the way of it and you can't really see it back there. So, this is like a perfect spot. Yeah, I like that spot. So, it's got this plastic, this plastic. This one here. That's pretty cool. I've never seen this before. So, it's kind of cool to check that out.
Yeah, this is the upgrade kit.
Yeah, the plastic upgrade kit again. Polished metals lock [music] bar. Oh, you had to like customize this lock bar, too.
Yeah. So, this is a Chicago coin lock bar.
And the nipples are not in the correct place on this. are backwards and forwards.
So, you had to relocate the nipples on this.
Yeah. So,
that sounds like a pain in the ass.
Yes, very much so.
Pain in the nipple.
Pain in the nipple.
Times two. So, have a look at the uh cabinet job on this as well. It's turned out incredible. Kevin's becoming a master of his craft after having done over a hundred machines now in uh under three years. Got the brand new CPR back glass with the white wolf pack LED displays which are beautiful. The new trim kit for the back glass which Kevin sliced his thumb on cuz it was very sharp. So, don't worry, JC. He filed that down. So, hopefully the same won't happen to you. And brand new plastic set, brand new CPR playfield.
Uh, pretty much everything on the top side here is new, I believe. The posts,
pop bumper parts,
drop targets,
um, plastic set,
etc., etc. This thing is gorgeous. blow it up.
Oh, also he uh had the
um apron powdercoated white
and added a new decal to it with custom apron cards. Looks like from Johnny G on eBay. Yep.
Have a look at this side. Powder coated um gunmetal gray legs. Is that what that's called?
No, this is uh it's called no smear silver.
No smear silver. Yeah, this is more gunmetal gray. Yeah, that's right. This turned out incredible. And let's check out the backside.
Look at that crazy garage seal of approval. New nylon feet. And yeah, let's have one more look at this playfield. It's just so beautiful. Fully LED, of course.
And I think it's time to uh
put Paul Der to the test here. He likes classics games. He's he's more of a classics player.
So, uh
Yeah, cuz you have to sit.
All right, dude. This is your moment to shine. Start up a game here and uh let's see you uh I'm going to give you a target score of um 150,000. That's your target score. Let's see if you can pull it off. What we uh we didn't check is the settings. Is the special worth 100,000 points? I
believe so.
Is it? Okay. Well,
and I'm
Let's see if uh let's see if that is true. So, we got to hit all the stars. We've got this game currently at Fork River. So, we've been playing it the last few tournaments. We've got some experience on it. Dude's got two of the five stars so far. 20,000 points. Nice uh chill maneuver there. D is no slouch. He's been in the London pinball. He's been in the pinball world for how long now, D?
Oh, 45 years. 45 years.
More or longer.
You've been to how many like pinball expos?
Uh half a dozen.
Okay. Half a dozen more than I've been to. He's he's got some stories. But yeah, he was one of the OG London pinball uh leaguers and he is where I got my Gamatron from. It
was a miracle that we shook anything loose from this guy, but he's got a couple other things in the queue that we're we're working on them. See if we can shake something else loose. This is turning out to be a good ball. You got four of the five stars lit. Just need this one right here. I'm going to hit it. The special is lit. The special is roving around the playfield. Every switch hit, I think. Maybe not every switch hit, but
that red special is just roving around there. You just hit it. Did you not? Maybe not. I don't know. It looked like you hit it before you drain this bow. Well, actually, I was going to say cheat, but let's not cheat. Let's see. A triple bonus coming up here.
And I set the score of 150. So only on ball two. Check this out. It's going to be pretty close. I did kind of cheat the one star, but I don't think he uh benefited from that. All right, dude. You've got 15,000 left to go on your last call here. And also nice maneuver. The machine is on wheels, too. So, very tiltable. 139. 140. There's 3,000 more plus seven in bonus. That puts you right at 150,000. Dude, hold it off. Now, let's see if we can get those last two stars. You got the white and the green. Those are the two topmost stars. Here we go. Oh, just slipped by there. Those are the most difficult ones to get. the white especially. Oh, there's green. You can bang around up there and get that white. Oh, close. Nice try. Oh my god, he got it. I thought you hit it and it missed, but there it is. Special is lit. Legit. It's on the bottom left right now. Nailed it. Free game. Not set to 100,000, but there was the knocker there. do blowing up stars here on its first debut game since the playfield has been installed and an extra ball. All right, here's the true test. Can you pull it off again? All five stars here. This is going to be like the dug ball where stars just eat you up. You can't have four amazing balls on stars. It's just not possible. And this is actually pitched up pretty uh high too. This this pitch is no slouchy pitch here. There's the third star. The orange one. See if you can bank into that green one up there. Oh, nice dig. I thought that was a goner. Okay, here we go. So, one set of drop targets down for double bonus. Another chill maneuver. There it is. Very nice job, dude.
Oh, high score to date. Three free games. Nice job. Okay, and on to the $6 million man. This thing also turned out incredible. This is for uh Brian. And then [snorts] this $6 million man is for JC. As you can see, there are approximately 10 games in the queue right now.
So, let's get a closer look here. Let's uh walk around the cabinet.
I love the white powder coating on this thing. Even the shooter housing. New coin door sticker. white powder coated legs with the clear leg protectors. That's a nice touch. I like that. The details on this stencil job
are uh pretty crazy. This might have been Kevin's most difficult job to date.
This is just uh you know stars is fairly intricate, but you can see a lot less detail and doesn't make any difference.
Maybe is this three colors? Red, blue, white. Stars is blue, white, orange. So, both with three colors. But have a look at this. It's
tight quarters here. I got to try not to step on things.
I believe this is also
Is this a new backlass? So, maybe not a new back glass.
Fong one of these days. I don't play failong.
This was a a shop job.
Playfield job. Actually, I think I mentioned this before, but I sold Brian this game probably like seven years ago, and I think I did some touch-ups. Like, you can kind of see where there was some wear there. Pretty sure I did a bunch of these touch-ups many moons ago, and it actually uh held up pretty well, all things considered. I mean,
I didn't know what the heck I was doing back then. I don't know what type of paint I was using. I don't know if I used a brush on clear or what, but Playfield's in u good shape even with my touch-ups. But yeah, we got the white cabinet paint job here. The back channel is done. And here's the other side.
And of course, Grazley Grudge seal of approval.
So, what we're going to do is uh sick Paul Duro on this machine again and see if he can have another uh epic performance. So, uh
All right, D. Here's your moment to shine.
Oh, that's right. and see if you recognize it.
What's What's a good target score on this?
Um
to set for Paul.
Uh 100.
Is that it?
100 150 I think. I don't
Can you get like 50,000 points by doing something, right?
Yeah. 50,000 by uh atomic ionic power.
Okay, we'll set it at 200,000. Oh yeah, playing with your food there. cost you
cost screw in the mound.
Well, that
fun sounds on this.
All right. So, yeah, you want to hit all the zeros around the playfield and the five in the top left. You got one zero left here. That'll get your 50,000 points. I mean, I haven't really played this game in a long while, so I don't remember all the rules, but we got two spinners to rip. They're They're still greasy when you
greasy.
Yeah, they're still good.
Oh, nice. I probably super lubed them. I knew at least that much. Oh, looks like two sets of drop targets will get you an extra ball. Okay, we need that last zero. Those two roll overs. Bring it down and the engine. Bring it down.
Oh, there it is. Got the post up, post down. So, hitting this center target here will bring your post up. These two rollovers. We'll bring the post down
in the inlanes. Bring it down.
Oh, yeah. I see. Post down on the inlanes. You got to be really careful. So, you think you're safe with the post and all of a sudden it vanishes on you at the last second. Rip them spinners. I want to see a nice rip. Oh, good nudge. There's a gate on here, too. How do we open that?
Bionic power.
Oh, so that last So, this is ball three. No. Uh,
I said 100, right?
50,000. All right, Dutch, let's see you get 150.
All right. I don't think I've gotten 150, but I'll do my best.
Okay, here we go.
Good at this game. I am not.
Well, let's display that to the world.
Thanks.
Oh, no.
It's not exactly a secret. That was a triangulation of death there. So, [snorts] you can get your bonus multiplier up to 5x. It looks like
out of here, man.
How one does that, I'm not sure.
Uh, bonus X. Yeah, it's the center hole. The whole top.
Oh, okay.
So, you want spinners in center hole all day long then? Eh.
Well, if you if you drop the targets one time, it increases the spinners from 10 to a,000 points to spin. So, that's probably a good
Oh, yeah. That's probably worth going for.
Oh, yeah. I see the light there. Spinners.
Okay. So, I'd say step one, knock down the drop target. Step two, rip spinners for points and your opportunity to get bonus X like that right there.
So, that's collecting the 2X. And you're building up your miscellaneous bonus in the process here. Set 22,000 bonus times two. So, let's see some spinner ribbage. Oh, there we go. So, spinners are now lit and the extra ball is available for another set of drop targets.
Yeah,
I see a 10,000 insert just below the saucer.
I think I think it happens after you get the 5x. It's light lit for 10,000.
Oh, okay. That makes sense.
Here we go. 5x.
I've never gotten that far, though. I'm not sure. Oh, yeah. I'm right. I'm right.
And that also lights the outlane special, it looks like. Oh, yeah. There's the 10,000 right there. Oh, it just went out. Oh no, it just looked like it was out on the camera. But 10,000 is lit in the saucer. Bonuses probably maxed out at 29* 5.
Here's the thing though, kind of off topic, but they were smart. These pose, these like rollovers are right in the path of the spinners.
Oh yeah,
you're going to cross right over it hitting the spinner.
Well, I'm never rely on the post. It's nice when you you know it saves you, but I would never rely on it.
Yeah.
So, Dutch is at 65,000, but this is going to be a huge bonus here.
It's probably going to be my 150. I think 30k by 5x,
I think. So,
look at that. It's your best game ever on this.
Yeah, very easily.
All right, ball three will probably be a complete dud.
Oh, 100%. Watch this.
Calling house ball here. Don't do this to me.
Come on, house ball. Oh, all right. We got to flip. We're alive.
And Oh,
I want to get that that bionic.
Once you get that first spinner rip, you're dead.
Yeah.
I did not I did not get the bionic power, but just know that gives you the five the five gives you the 50k.
It opens this gate and I think it lights the specials.
Oh, yeah. We never got the Bionic Power. A
Well,
all right, Mike, get in there. I'll build you.
All right, I'll play one game. Why not?
I I'm just going straight for a bionic power cuz we haven't seen that yet.
Yeah,
if I can get it three times.
What was your final score?
Like like 230 something. It was a lot.
All right, I'm just going by. Forget everything.
I forget how you were filming it, though. I'm getting a lot of excess on the sides.
Uh you can zoom out or zoom in or whatever you like.
I'll do that. Hopefully that's good. Come on now. Yes. See that skill, baby. Okay. I just need this guy here. And if I fail, I can get this five.
All right.
A little bit later.
Not that late.
What's top pass? Do I lose all that progress? No, it's carries over, right?
Yeah, it carries over.
Okay, I lost my bonus though. But I don't care. I just want power. This is it on the punch right here.
You got to fight the power. Is that
Oh, wait. I almost right
cuz it it is on wheels.
Yeah.
Watch yourself.
So close.
It doesn't like to bounce into those,
especially on five. What happened there?
That's what awesome.
It's a Christmas miracle.
Wow. Okay, this is it. No cheating.
Too hard. Nudge. Let's see. I'm going to change my mind.
What the hell is that? That's not what I want.
Postp
That's the technical term for it.
The bail and flail. I like it. That's a new That should be submitted to the pinball dictionary.
Oh man.
Nope.
What?
It's not going out like that. It ain't going out. Ain't going out like that.
Just Just close the switch for God's sake.
Bionic power.
Yeah, there it is. Now I'm happy. That was cute.
Don't downpost me.
I'm going to down this.
Don't look. Oh, yes. I didn't die. My game can last forever now.
Hey, wait. Up post. Well,
the big one was like,
show the ball.
Here we go.
A bang.
Cuz it's not a coil bringing it up. It's just a spring that puts it up and a coil that sucks it back down.
Ah. Hey, 147.
You did not beat me.
I did cheat, too.
