Oh yeah, it's time. You've waited a week or more, and now it's finally here. The time has come for the sloppiest show on the internet. This week's episode of Poor Man's Pinball Podcast. Starring Drew and Ian. That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over. Game over. I'm gonna need someone to help me. I'm gonna need somebody's help. Son of a bitch, give me a drink. One more night, but it can't be me. What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on here? Oh my God. Is this Poor Man's Pimpin' Ball podcast? I think it is. What happened? I think we've overthrown the establishment. We've usurped the regular hosts. That's right. They're gone. If you have a big enough tribe, eventually it's going to rise up. That's what I always figure. And take over. Eventually, the grasshopper becomes the master. Wait, that's not how it goes. No, that's not how it goes. But in all seriousness, yes, we have decided it was time to take the reins a little bit and redo a new Poor Man's Pinball. Who are you? Who am I? My name is Pete. I'm member number 14 in the Poor Man's Pinball tribe. And who are you, sir? My name is Martin. I am listener number 15, tribe member number 2. What a distinction. Yes. I feel the need. I have to do the one because it's like a higher number. You're like, well, try number 2, but I'm listener number 15 for many months before that. Very fun. So how long? You've been listening for quite a long time then, pretty much from the beginning? Well, yeah, I have. It's funny that I follow Spooky Pinball real closely, and you and I will talk about this later, I'm sure. I go to G-Fest every year, which is a Godzilla convention in Chicago, and I've been pretty good friends with Chuck and Bug since I meet them there every year. so i listened to them and they were on or who was it yeah spooky was on the poor man's pinball podcast and that came up somewhere and i thought it was a great format and i went hey i want to hear more of these guys so i started downloading their episodes and here we are that's cool i had never heard about you fest and that was like oh my god what is that because i'm a huge godzilla fan i have way too many godzilla movies if that is such a thing the problem is i've now i've re-bought them two or three different times i'm like okay this is dumb you know i have i have multiple copies i still have vhs copies for heaven's oh that's awesome i would love to meet those guys because i did i actually um i think i've said this like twice now so i probably shouldn't even say it again i made like a bunch of horror movie b-movie um t-shirts i have a my side gig is i have a screen printing shop that i do a little bit here and there and i uh i actually um had some extras of all these weird you know the undertaker and his pals and and all this stuff so i sent them up to him just randomly it was just i just put a box together i ended up and said hey i'm a fan of your pinball machines i love listening you guys here's some shirts and he wrote back he's like wow that was really cool but you know the ones that didn't fit me i gave to my minions he's calls them so right yeah i was i i will have to meet him up there and i will have to go to godzilla fest when i'm closer because That sounds so cool. It's a ball. I'm telling you, I took my wife three years ago, and she's like, well, I'll bring a couple of books and a laptop, and I'll play Minecraft if it gets boring. And she didn't do any of that shit. She just, she was down to do all of it. It was so much fun. We're going through the dealer's room, and they've always got different presentations going on. And we're talking all day Friday, all day Saturday, all day Sunday, these presentations. lines out the door for autographs. It's a blast. And then when everything shuts down, that's when the party starts. That's crazy. That sounds so fun. Nerdy Godzilla fans getting together and drinking beer and being nerds. And that's what it's all about, isn't it? You're like, all right. So much fun. So I'm trying to think of some of the stuff. Now, we know each other a little bit through Poor Man's, but what do you do for a living? You live in Columbus, Ohio, correct? I live in Columbus. We are well within our virus six-feet rule. We're 6,000 feet. No, I don't know how many feet it is. Easily. A thousand miles, maybe. Yeah, a thousand miles. So you're in Columbus, Ohio. I'm in Clearwater, Florida. What do you do for a living? I work at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and I'm sure you've seen all the stupid posts that I've been doing about the band, the Nacho Street Band, raising money for the Ron McDonald House of Central Ohio. So that's my one big claim to fame, I suppose, outside of playing pinball and watching Godzilla movies. But yeah, we're doing real well, and I wanted to thank everybody in the tribe for helping out with our cause. It's really been amazing, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, from the bottom of the band's heart. I hope you enjoyed some of the posts I put up yesterday. For sure. I'm going to have to share them. Those are so awesome. I wasn't, and I wasn't sure the affiliation. I, that's what I thought, but I was like, I think, but I don't know. Sometimes I'm a little, my brain's a little civvy, you know, like I don't remember things so good, but then I was like, I'm almost sure. So yeah, I know I shared one of them that right away when it first came up, but I think I'll, I'll bounce them off mine too. That way. Thank you. I appreciate that. Anything you can get out there, you know, is it. Yeah. I know it's shut down. Raise the awareness any way we can. And Martin, what do you do? Right now I'm a – well, I do a lot of stuff, but mostly my main job is in marketing. It's like a marketing gig. And I'm allowed to work from home, which is cool. But my main client, the main person that I'm working for is actually a Department of Defense contractor. So I have the excuse letter. Like even if they try, even if they say you can't be working, I'd be like, no, no. The Department of Defense and Homeland says otherwise. So I'm going to be. Oh, man. They make like really high end sites and scopes for groups of people that go places and do things. That's fascinating. Yeah, it's pretty cool. But, you know, it's just a marketing gig. I really like graphics and doing graphic stuff, which is why I have the side business and the T-shirt screen printing business. But that has gone the way of the dodo. Most all graphics are now done in some foreign land for pennies on the dollar. So you don't find any graphic artists much in our country anymore, which totally sucks. Oh, well. Yeah, it is a shame. But there's still Christopher Franchi. He's still out there. There's still artists doing stuff, just mostly. the graphic artists are the ones that went away. Yeah, our band works with a local guy exclusively, so all of our art comes from him. And he's built up a nice little business for himself. I don't know what that means. You didn't outsource, is what you're saying. You're like, oh, I'm talking to someone in India. He's going to do our new band work. No, no, it's a local guy. He's not too far from where I live, so that's a lot of fun. I guess we should go on record right away, And I know coming up is Ian and Drew's 50th anniversary. We can't really steal that from them, I don't think. That wouldn't be fair. We won't. I suppose we'll be that nice. I mean, as long as they're not dead or anything. Yes. We'll name this, what did you say, 49B? Yeah, that'll work. Whatever they want to. Or they might just name it deleted. I don't know. We'll see. They might just delete it. Whatever's good. I don't know. It's always fun to try something new. But, yeah, I know they'll be back with show 50. But I think right now they're kind of readjusting to life with the virus and all that shit. Aren't we all? Yeah. Isn't it great? So much fun. Yeah, right. So, Martin. Yeah, go ahead. What are you drinking, sir? I am drinking, right now I am drinking just rum and coke. I'm a straight up kind of rum and coke kind of guy. Delightful. 8.96 rum is, I can't recommend it enough. I'm not familiar with it although there's oh there's a million yeah right what are you drinking today sir? I am drinking something that on the Antonio Cruz ship I learned it's called a twin ginger it's Jameson and ginger ale nice not really sure why it's called a twin ginger but it's delicious yeah that's awesome when were you on a Antonio Cruz ship? not recently oh I'm sorry I should have clarified that I also play in the Ohio State University Marching Band. And being an alumnus, there are a few of us that are selected every year to go on the Buckeye Antonio Cruz for cancer. And we raise millions of dollars on the ship for cancer research. Whoa. And I'm part of the entertainment as far as playing. And that's the Antonio Cruz I go on almost every year. I've been on nine of the last 13. that's that's so awesome um and so yeah we do we do a lot of fundraising on that and play our lips off and drink our livers out that is so cool you know boy talking to you i feel like i should be doing more in life you know like i've had i've had exchange students and me and my dad like we're blacksmiths at the local heritage village for a lot of years before we oh wow before he passed away but that's uh you know i should do more i think it's just like wow you You give so much. I'm like, wow, I'm not really doing that much for society. I do radio shows a couple times a week. That's it. But the opportunities arise for me to play my horn, and I just go do it. That's awesome. So what horn do you play? Just a trumpet? Trumpet. Okay, cool. Yep. I know there's different ones. My sister had a clarinet growing up. That's the one with the valves? Yeah, sure. I don't know. It's a flutophone. It's a stick with holes in it. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. I play a pan flute or an ocarina whenever I'm playing Zelda. So that's kind of – I think Drew plays a skin flute. Zing! And he's not even here to defend himself. That's the best guide. Yeah, don't worry. You will feel the wrath next show. I'm sure. We're giving him motivation to get on the mics. Right. So last night was Twippy, right? Twippy was last night. Did you watch it? I watched it live. Were you able to go in and watch it? Yeah. I got into the – it was a YouTube feed, wasn't it? Yeah. Yeah. And I was in and out. Literally, my eyes were open and closed. I chopped a tree down yesterday, and I was a little tired. Oh, yeah. That'll take it out of you. Trees are very strong compared to humans. They are, shockingly, or not so. Yes. But, yeah, I was able to see the vast majority. I woke up in time to see the last couple. what was it, Design or Best Game or something like that. It was the first Twippy I had seen being that this was the first live one, I think, online. Yeah, I was the same. This is the first one I've ever seen. I felt bad. I felt really old because I didn't have a baseball cap, and it wasn't backwards. So I should have actually went into my closet and found one. I wasn't – maybe some cutoff Madonna gloves. Something was missing. I just had a shirt and some shorts, so I really wasn't hip enough to watch these. I felt bad. Next time I'll change into something a little bit schnazzier for the awards. Right. Something a little hipper. Keep up with them young damn kids. Get off my yard with your pagers. No one even knows what a pager is anymore. Old references. Die hard. Right. Right. Hey, we have a pitbull podcast. Most of our audience is probably 45 plus. I'm relating. I'm relating with our demographic. That's right. We know our demographic. I think even Drew would be like, what the hell is a pager? I'd be like, oh, well. You youngsters. Ah, get off my lawn. Yeah, exactly. So they were okay. They were good, though, I mean, for how they had to put it together. You know, what I was most surprised is that show was almost two hours long, wasn't it? Yes. Hour and a half. And it moved. It just cooked along. It did. Boom, boom, boom. And it was, at the very least, it didn't drag its feet anywhere. No, no. And it clicked. And it kind of felt like it was paced really good. I know a lot of people were critical of the writing for the two that we're hosting, but that's hard. I've done a lot of productions. I had a TV show for a lot of years on public access. It's not what people think. It's very difficult to hit. So I think they did a fine job. Especially when you're not working off an audience. No. I'm sure that's super, super hard to do. You hope they hit and send. It's like, well, you know. Right. They're both very good at what they do, I'm sure. You know Cary Hardy? I didn't know his stuff. No, I didn't know either of those folks. I don't know a lot about – I know about pinball, but I don't know a lot of the people in it. If you'd show me the faces of Bowen Kerins and Jersey Jack, I probably couldn't tell the difference. Yeah, I'm the same way for some degree. I'm sure you heard the Richie story I gave on the last show where I said I didn't know who the hell he was. Yeah. That was awesome. Oh, the greatest designer ever, huh? Damn. Oh, well, I'd be in the same boat. I wouldn't know who that dude is. Exactly. What are you going to do? So I guess I guess we should cover the Twippies. I don't know if we have to go one for one. You know, some stuff we're like, who cares? But if you want to, we can go over what who won and what we thought about it. I think we can. I'm good. OK, cool. Now, for anyone listening at home, you can go on to this week in pinball and it actually gives the results, the percentages and some honorable mentions. so uh if and it has i think it has a link to the to the show if you want to sit for two hours and watch it it's you know the first the first part i was like there was 30 minutes of just ads and i was like damn it i don't want to but i stuck around and watched that was unexpected for sure exactly i guess you know trying to recoup whatever they can get you gotta pay for this shit yeah one way or another right right i can't blame him yeah you know i'm not going to criticize him for doing that i feel i do feel really bad for a lot of these shows that got canceled man that is devastating i hey i feel bad for anyone running any sort of a small business right now my wife's going through it right now this is not fun oh so anyone who has a small business god bless you i hope you can make it and i i don't know what else to say but a lot aren't going to be there on the other end of this and that's like amazing to me like not amazing it's sad it's it's heart-breaking you're like they might not your favorite place might not even be there who knows right so anyway on a lighter yes yes i agree that a lot of conventions man i i don't know if g-fest is going to happen this year uh three or four of the big uh horror conventions in the midwest have been canceled already and it's it's like man uh i hope i hope you can survive this yeah i always kind of I think it will prevail because people will say, well, we missed a year, maybe two. Let's not go crazy with two, but you never know. And then maybe they'll say, let's get it together again. And then they'll crowdsource and get it together again. That's what you hope. That's what we hope for sure. So, okay. Overall impressions, we both thought it was decent, good production. I didn't find anything really to criticize about it. Yeah, it was what it was. and it doesn't need to be any more entertaining than it is, if you ask me. I would imagine it's not too dissimilar when you're down there at the Texas Pinball Fest. Oh, yeah. I mean, I hope to get there one day, really, to be honest with you. I've never been to Texas, and I would love to get there one day. I guess Midwest Gaming will be the next one. MGC? Hopefully, but we'll see. Okay so the first up was what did they say Best Music and Sound Effects Right And the winner was Black Knight Sword of Rage Black Knight Yeah. Next one, and that one had 33% of the votes. The next closest was Jurassic Park. And then a distant third was Willy Wonka. Have you played Black Knight? Yes. Okay. Have you played the Premium? No. That makes a big difference, I think. Okay, so I played the Pro. Boring. boring as all get out I played the premium and it's a whole different game with that upper play field it feels like Black Knight because both of the previous Black Knights have that upper play field and it's very important to the game so y'all who haven't played the premium version, if you've only played pro give the premium a chance if you get the opportunity. That's what it was because I played one and I was like, it's okay I didn't hate it but I was like who cares? I was never a super huge fan of the other two they were they were they're good machines and just not they're not the ones i go to if i would have a quarter and there's five different machines in front of me you know um so but that one just from what i saw deservingly so one they you know they had the anthrax in oh scott was there so you know it had a lot going on um so that's that one um favorite home brew machine yeah i i don't care i don't know enough about it they're never done like some of them that are right that was done so i was like i don't know if there if there is a gripe like okay none of these were done yeah although space balls look done and i like i like space balls and i like the um uh ghost in the shell look well that's because i love ghost in the shell but um i don't know i'm sure it's fine i don't like that's one that's one of those there's a couple in here where that I literally am like, I don't care about this category. I mean, it doesn't really matter to me. So next up is best toys and gimmicks. Right. And Jurassic Park won that one easily by a lot. Who doesn't want a dinosaur grabbing your butt? Yeah, I know. Wait, I should rephrase that. No, don't. You're good. Ian probably wants a dinosaur grabbing his balls. I know. what drew just got a the jurassic park and and he said he loves it like he was saying this is one of the best game might be the best game ever it's also brand spanking new in his house so that's true that counts for a lot i love elvira now that that one didn't have any toys or gimmicks so i was like yeah whatever but i love elvira i didn't expect to love elvira and i played and i was like i can't stop playing this game i i'm figuring out how i'm getting that game and i'm getting it Because I'm like, oh my God, this is incredible. But those are the movies that speak to me. So that's a theme that lands hard on my side. Yeah, me too. Because I've watched every one of those movies 10 times. You know, those bad movies. I just watch them and watch them and watch them. Oh, yeah. I go to conventions that specialize in those movies. Yeah. When Charlie wrote back and said, I have most of these movies, I was like, oh my God. I thought I was the only person that had all these horrible movies and watched them willingly. But I guess not. And watch them willingly. Like Mystery Science Theater, but willingly. That's my couch. All right, so then favorite pinball location. I've never been to any of these ones. I've been to Tidal Town. Logan's Arcade won, which seems to be the easy, best thing ever made. I don't know. Have you ever been to any of these, like Logan Arcade or Pinball Palace? That's a tough category to vote for. and you know i it's one that i really don't care i go to the ones locally so yeah exactly i can't go to these i've been i was up in uh wisconsin appleton a couple times and i've been playing i was at player two and i love it because it's just like what you'd want you know it has lots of new games lots of old arcade games so you know uh favorite pinball publication or writer i don't skip yeah skip i don't know any of those don't know i like coin up coin up carnival I was actually the winner on was it Eclectic Gamers podcast yeah it was that one where I had won it and then he sent me the coin op carnival so I was like oh cool that's worthy of a few votes exactly so best best theme best theme yes Willy Wonka that one won a lot I don't know I don't know See, Ian loves this game. I am very cold on this game. I just – maybe I haven't played it enough. It just doesn't land with me. That's how I am. A lot of people love it, and that's cool. I mean – That's great. You like what you like. I'm not going to judge. I tried to like it. I played it a couple times, and I played it when I was drinking, and I was like, I just don't like this game. I found myself going to Jurassic Park and then Deadpool, which is just crazy funny. So, yeah. So, Willy Wonka, but a lot of people love it. I know that's good. And then that was at 32.4% with Jurassic Park at 23% and Elvira at 14%. So there you go. Poor Cosmic Carnival, 2.0 on the best. I'm looking forward to playing some of those games. I've never even seen a machine. Really? A P3 machine, is that right? No, no, no. Cosmic Carnival is that one that was Suncoast Pinball. Dirty Donnie did the artwork. Oh, okay. Nope, I don't even know. I actually toured the plant and did an interview with them before they closed for my radio show. Oh, yeah? Yeah. He was all gung-ho, and I played the prototype, and I'm looking at these things. I actually saw the one that Dr. and Mrs. Pin got. They got, like, number one or number... I forget what it was because I even took pictures of the plaque on it. But it closed. So, okay. Favorite competitive pinball player. I don't know these people I don't care God bless you all I just don't care you want to do one then? pinball convention I don't care TPF there you go ok best theme integration this is interesting yeah this one's interesting it is because Jurassic Park I don't know This is the one that I don't agree with at all. Right. I don't agree that Jurassic Park... Jurassic Park was a runaway... Well, I wouldn't say runaway, but it won solidly. Oh, yeah. Yeah, for sure. But, you know, theme integration... I'm putting my money down on Elvira because they worked all those movies in to this pinball machine. And they were a bunch of dumb, terrible, wonderful movies. And they gave them all equal credibility. And I just, I enjoy, I think that was the best theme integration. This is the best game. I don't know. Is it the best? Whatever. Yeah. Well, and they actually even, they're adding more all the time. Right. They're supposedly, there's going to be a massive amount of movies in there. Now you can't say what they're, you know, can't judge on what's going to be in the future. Like, I guess the only thing I didn't know about Jurassic Park was because everyone criticized it for saying this wasn't from the movie. This was just like a adaptation kind of mixture of all of them. A story about the world. Yeah, so that's fine. So that would put, like, to me then Willy Wonka would be better than that because that was it, you know. That was, well, and it tried to be the movie and there weren't any assets for it, if I'm not mistaken. That's crazy. Yeah, I don't know. A lot of the stuff we... Which is why I think Elvira should have bumped up. That's it. Willy Wonka didn't have the assets. Jurassic Park wasn't actually the movie. Elvira was Elvira and what she did... for her show. Oh, yeah, for sure. I'm with you on that one. All right, I'll do then the favorite pinball website. The much-maligned Pinside wins again. I opened up a Pinside account many years ago. I don't ever go there. I think I made one comment on one thread and got obliterated up by a bunch of jackasses, and I've never gone back. I don't give a damn about Pinside. I'm sorry, Pinside users. I don't care. I think This Week in Pinball is a much better website because it's informative. It's not visceral. Pinside is Twitter. See, I do agree with you because I voted for This Week in Pinball because that's where you get, like, honest, just things that are kind of important. I do go on Pinside. I don't really ever post on Pinside. I just go read stuff and then go back to work. One, don't you have to pay to post for shit on Pinside? Oh, I don't think so. I thought it was a paid site. It was a one-time thing years ago. Maybe. All right, next one. You're up. Best animations and display. Willy Wonka wins by a small margin. And, again, I'll tell you, I haven't played Willy Wonka enough to really give it any credibility. Jurassic Park and Elvira I thought were much much better they said that guy said he won three times that's his third victory in a row the animation was for what was it for TNA and then it was for what was after that Pirates I guess and then Willy Wonka I was like what okay he must have a really good animation team he's always worked for Jersey Jack right so it could be TNA so was it dialed in dialed in Pirates and... No, that doesn't sound right. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Again, I haven't played Willy Wonka enough to say yay or not. Boy, they had 23.6 and then Jurassic was 23.3. Yeah, it was only a few, a handful, you know. Okay. One of my favorite things, though, is at the very bottom of every list, Cosmic Carnal is at 1.5, 1.5. They're down at the bottom. Poor Cosmic Carnal. I was surprised Oktoberfest, though. That's really low, too. I like Oktoberfest, but most people, I guess, don't. I have yet to play Oktoberfest, and I've heard nothing but it's fun. It is super fun. I want to play it so bad. I thought that was going to be a hit because everyone likes beer, but I don't know. It wasn't. It didn't work. All right. I'm up for Rookie of the Year. I don't know what that even is. Tim Sexton. I don't know what that means. For Lead Coder for Black Knight Sword of Rage. Okay. So, but it's, this is one of those categories that I'm like, whatever. Exactly. Oh yeah. And you're, you're next up for the whatever. So what, which was the next one? Favorite tournament, whatever. Pinberg. Yeah. Okay. You're a funny story about Pinberg. I was, I long, long time ago, I was having delusions of grandeur that I was going to start a tournament down here is when I first started. Like this was when I got like probably 2003 or 2004 or something weird like that. and I called the guy from Pinsburg and said, how do you run – how would you do this? And I sat on the phone with him for like an hour and a half, and I got off the phone, and I was like, I don't think I'm doing this because I don't have a chance to gamble that I hope people show up. And I was like – Right. And he was a really nice guy. He told me like straight up, you're going to need to do this. You're going to need to do this. And I was like, yeah, that's cool, and I'm writing stuff down and taking notes and mental notes. And I was like, I don't think that's going to happen. So, yeah. So it was neat to talk to him, but wow. You are in marketing. I would imagine your skill set could afford you a head start on a lot of ideas to get people to your tournament. Oh, yeah, for sure. People still got to buy into it. And also I see how ferocious people are on the secondary, like afterwards. Like they should have done this. This was horrible. And you're like, wow. Yeah, let's let them slide. They had a lot going on, but I guess not. Right. finally one we can both agree on best call outs Elvira House of Horrors no question although even it looks like it was what 30% to 27% Black Knight Sword of Rage was right after it people love Steve Ritchie call outs I guess that's kind of how I look at it but boy they love it that he's making funny and talking smack but uh you know that might be blasphemous but whatever he's a funny guy i don't think is he he comes i i'm not gonna say anything bad about him i've never not met yeah no he's he's funny when you talk to him but he is it's very difficult like i've only ever talked to him in the convention setting and he can't hear shit now so it's it's really difficult to like say to have a conversation back and forth so you know even with good hearing in those conventions you're gonna have some It's like, do we have a corner we can go stand in or get out of the hallway? I can't hear you. They're like the bubble of, what was that from Get Smart? Was that? Yeah. Is that too old reference? Are we old guy referencing again? Anyway. No, never. Like I said, it's our demographic. What can I tell you? Right. You're up for, now we got two who cares in a row. So you got. Okay. So favorite pinball channel, don't care. Yeah. Favorite pinball mod, don't care. Okay. So best light show. I'm up again. looks like Willy Wonka won solidly. Like, insanely. 40% to the next Black Knight is 15%. That's amazing. And I can go back and play Willy Wonka. I just don't know enough about it. It's a bright, vibrant, and that's, oh, Wizard of Oz. That's the other animation. I couldn't, my brain was kind of like, what? It wasn't, it was Wizard of Oz. those both machines who I don't I don't like them that much but they are so when you walk up to me like wow like the armor is bright and vibrant the colors are screaming so I could see that I mean I'm not going to hate on Willy Wonka I don't like the machine but it's it is bright and it is very colorful you know I'll have to go play some more to take in the experience yeah so I don't do the streaming stuff so the next one was favorite pinball streamer deadflip You're like, well, man, OK, unless it's a reveal. I find pinball streaming dull and maybe that's the old guy in me. I don't know. Yeah, I'm not in the same way. I'm the same way because you look at this stuff and you're like, I'll watch it for a new thing. Like I watched them for Rick and Morty and I watched a little bit for the ideals just because you're like, well, this is new and cool. And I'm not going to see one for about a year now. It looks like. Yeah. But other than that, I don't care. I will say Jack Danger at Deadflip is the most personable person on the website or on the interwebs. Yeah, I would agree. He does come across as very – Engaging. Charismatic, but he's – yeah, he's engaging and people love him. Certainly charismatic. So anyway, another who really cares. Favorite pinball league? it's whomever got the most votes and I'm thrilled however to see that it's a bells and chimes a female league wonderful that they're on here there needs to be more women there needs to be more people of color there needs to be much more diversity in this old white hobby yeah you would think it would happen naturally if it does start making its way into the social or into the fabric you know if you start seeing them pop up in movies and stuff like that so you hope i would i would assume it would happen naturally but maybe not some things don't we have we have a very strong bells and chimes here in columbus and they have like you can go in and watch but you can't participate because it's their league and they're amazing gals i love hanging out with them and i guarantee i i was never understood i never understood the need for a women's versus men's. I was talking to my wife about it a little bit. Basically, because it's not like it's a physical thing, like I'm going to lift 100 pounds as many times as I can. But it's for, I guess, just better camaraderie and better feeling at ease and everything like that, which makes sense. So as I talked to her and she explained it a little bit, I was like, well, that's cool. Because there's tons of women players that will whip my ass. Sure I fairly decent I can hold my own in competitions I been in a few but I made finals like twice But it not I not like that level So there's tons of women that have just come in and whipped my butt at pinball. Oh, yeah. But that's what she was saying. It's just kind of like more at ease. It's also a lot safer. Women, unfortunately, are – I've heard stories from friends that have said that they've been touched and spoken to in ways that those people need to be taken out back and beaten up. That's insanity. It truly is. Can you imagine that? But as a white dude, you don't know what other people go through, whether you're the opposite sex or you're a person of color. you don't know what they go through and others don't experience life in a much different manner than old white guys yeah for sure and i guess a lot of times i am also very naive because i don't do any of that stuff i don't know anything questionable like so so it doesn't even come into my head that people would like you do kind of weird comments to somebody like well i i wouldn't in this day and age even if i would be of that apt to do that you're not safe doing that there's cameras everywhere you're in trouble if you get caught so i was like okay but whatever so all right next one um best rules so the biggest help me out in the history well yeah but what is the difference between best rules and best game that that confuses me How can best rules not be the best game? That is interesting. Yeah, I never even thought of that. I know rules, because rule sets can be very deep or very light. I know Elvira gets dinged for having a light rule set, but I think it's going to get deeper anyway. And also, I don't care. Or Munsters is famous for that, too, where Munsters are like, people say, well, Munsters, there's nothing to do. And I was like, well, you just fight gravity until you get a good score. that's well yeah there's no drain save there's no ball save so yeah i don't know that one um i guess you know maybe drew will defer and talk about that a little bit because i know people go crazy about all this there must be very uh approachable but very deep rule sets i know that's what i hear a lot of people talk about where they say an average person can play but a really good person will know to unlock this thing and then do this thing and then stuff you know all right i i'll buy into that it's approachable yet challenging. Okay. So Jurassic Park. Yeah. Jurassic Park destroyed everything else. Willy Wonka at 16%, you know, and Jurassic Park at 56.9%. I was like, oh, my God. Yeah. Yeah. So then the big one. Pinball Topper. Oh, Big Tail. I missed that one. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Pinball Topper, Black Knight. I don't even know what that looks like. Next. I guess it actually follows the ball and makes fun of you oh does it really? I think so yeah it's worthy of the game but I think it's also like 800 bucks oh dear lord that's what I used to buy pinball machines for but I guess this is a different time oh man this is why I don't own one I keep bugging my wife saying what do you think about getting them can it drive you to work no it can't I was lucky to buy one off the crate when they were still just absurd, three grand. And then we scrimmed and saved for the Woe Nelly, which was an expensive purchase. The Woe Nelly, how much fun is that? Oh, it's my favorite game in the world. Everyone hates on it. I'm like, you're nuts. This game is hilarious and fun, and people that dig it really love it. Everyone else just doesn't, and that's fine too. And then I got a Dr. Dude, which I just bought that recently for, what did I pay? Yes! That was one of my favorite virtual machines I was playing on the iPad. That was such a dumb game. Oh, it's so 90s. It's 90s dumped into a blender. That was so much fun. It's literally early 90s poured into a blender, dumped over your face. Uh-huh, uh-huh. But it's so much fun. And, you know, that's like an $800 to $1,000 game. But now it's like $2,000. I'm like, oh, my God. so it's tough buying used now and that's and that's what everyone keeps saying everyone keeps thinking it's going to drop and the market's going to explode but i don't see where i think a decent used game has been two grand plus for the last seven years or so long time because i've long time i've been in the market for a machine for the last 10 years or so and i just can't justify buying one oh it's crazy i'm selling guitars to get them i'm like i'm moving stock whenever I do one of these purchases because you're just like, man, that's a lot of money. I'll borrow against the bank and then pay back in. You know, just selling T-shirts and stuff like that. But whatever, if I want it, I want it. I am not going into debt for a pinball machine, that's for sure. No loans for this guy. That's the modern era of pinball. You better sell plasma and beg on a street corner if you want a pinball machine. All right, so then you got the big one. You get the big number that everyone cares for some reason. This is for me? Yep, for sure. Favorite pinball podcast. This Week in Pinball. Wait, no. I read that wrong. Poor Man's Pinball. That's what it was. Poor Man's Pinball. Yes. Ian and Drew did it. They won the favorite pinball podcast of the year. Yes. No, they didn't. It's Canada, as the macho man would say. Canada won. canadian's pinball podcast one and love or hate him he's got a good podcast there you go yeah he put up a yep and that's that's all you can say he put up a video making sure he rubbed it everyone's face and that was yeah yeah yeah yeah i digress best artwork yes there you go that's Cheers, buddy. For the Munsters. I'm so glad. The Munsters gets hate all the time, but the artwork is really cool. And I was really glad that Christopher Franchi won. I actually bought the Backglass artwork from him. He was at the Freeplay Florida, and I went up at the table and I said, oh, talk to him a little bit. And we actually got two different pieces of artwork that he had signed for us, which is the Munsters and the Beatles. They're both so beautiful. Oh, my God. you know i like the beatles machine i'm one of the few people that i would buy that if i was able but i played it and i enjoyed it and that's all i remember of it yeah there you go i don't know what that means but yeah my wife loves that one so if i want to keep getting different machines better throw one you know that my wife likes so uh right my wife thought that star trek if we get one and oh really the next gen likes next gen or stern she likes them wow that's cool yeah just a big fan she's a big fan of Star Trek god bless you oh man I knocked it out of the park with this one um but yeah she's played both and just absolutely loves both so it's it's a I think we'd go for Stern because I think there's less in it to shop and to maintain which makes a big difference for a dummy like me who doesn't know anything about maintaining a pinball machine I had just shopped my Austin Powers. I bought an Austin Powers off the crate, and I just shopped it for the first time like a year ago. We're talking about – that's forever ago. And I was like taking stuff off. I was like, holy crap, this is really hard. Like it's so – Oh, no. Getting everything to lift off and getting everything. I was like, okay, but it shoots like a madman now. I didn't realize – you don't realize how dead stuff is getting – because I kept after it and kept it clean, but I never replaced rubbers. And I was like, oh, shit. so all right next up you are up for the next best play field uh gameplay and layout again i don't understand what the difference between rules gameplay layout and game of the year is it's just me yeah i guess they're just talking well the same one won all three of them so well yeah jurassic park again in a landslide in a game game of the year was uh the next one the last one is Game of the Year, and that's the same thing, Jurassic Park. So I guess all three of those could be combined into one. That's where I'm headed, but if the committee, if the TWIP committee wants to keep them separate, who am I to say? Run your show. Yeah, exactly. But I think these three things are basically saying the same thing. And I don't know enough about the TWIP. This is the third TWIP maybe. have there been twippies in the past where this layout but this one one game of the year i'm oh yeah i don't know i don't know either yeah somebody out there is yelling at the radio saying yeah damn it you guys are stupid so it looks like drew might be on the right course though saying that drastic park is the best game ever made and you're like okay well so far or at least to 2019, that's for sure. The statistics are supporting it for now. We'll see. Uh-huh. There you go. Now you don't have to watch the thing. We've helped you along here. Poor Man's Pinball Light has come along and helped you with the Twippy Awards. Let's take a pause and save real quick so I don't lose this wonderful content, then we'll just pick back up. Is that cool? And we're back. All right. We had to freshen our drinks. Our drinks are refreshed. Go to the powder room. Hang on. This is good podcasting, huh? That is comic relief. I am late for a nap. Don't worry. we'll be through this soon then you can just crash on the couch will we? oh no I'm definitely out of soda though straight, you don't want to do just that's just a ginger twist it'll just be ginger I guess what was it called? twin ginger and it's more Jameson now than it is this is going to be a hot mess I use ginger beer as a mixer for my rum a lot of times oh shit that's a really good uh so you double up on the booze then a little bit well ginger beer i think is more like it just like it's almost like ginger ale i think oh no yeah i think ginger beer ginger ale is a soda pop oh beer i think has alcohol in it okay then yes but it's good so i said i would suggest everyone go out and try ginger beer and rum because it's pretty damn good uh so yeah so We stepped up to take over this show, a hostile takeover from the tribe members. We forgot all the other stuff. What did they do? Oh, it's time for Poor Man's Pinball Podcast Personal Pinball News. I'm glad you said it because I'm sick right now. That's the longest name in history of naming conventions. Right. What do you have going on in your pinball news? Oh, all the pinball machines I have. My basement is full of machines. Nice. That's bullshit. I have no machines except the busted virtual pin. And I really don't want to talk about it right now. Yeah, we're not pulling that band-aid off. No, no, no. But I did remember that I had, I forget, I think it's a Bally Williams Xbox game. And much like virtual machines, it's not real pinball. But, man, is it cool. I pulled it out the other day. It's got Taxi and No Good Gophers and Gorgar and Space Shuttle and Medieval Madness and Sorcerer. and there's maybe 15 tables on there. I think the game is out of print. Well, I'm sure it's old enough to be out of print. But it's a lot of fun, and one of the cool things about it is that it has, if you go into the tutorial, there's some dude walking you through each level of every game, so you know what to do. It's really cool. Like Whirlwind. this is one of the games on there it tells you you gotta hit the targets here and here and here to start the discs swirling and I'm like that's amazing yeah I see that's really that is really cool I have a lot of those like for the PS2 and the like all like every I have a lot of game systems and a lot of games I have that's one of the other things I collect a lot of and I have thousands of games but I always bought every one of those pinball ones, even though again, I'm not that big into the virtual like you're saying, but it is cool because you do learn a lot. You definitely learn a lot. Some of those games, you know, like the what were they called? Pinball Museum? They had like Gottlieb and William Pinball Museums. Those were for PlayStation 2. I think that's the one I have. That's fun. They're fun games. Yeah, there was a Gottlieb. There was a Bally... I don't remember them. I have the Stern for the Switch. You're right. They were collections. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And mine's for the 360 because I'm an old guy and that's what I've got. I have like so many systems. I just sold off the 360 and all the games. I had to pare down a little bit. I'm like, look, you know, there's like 20 game consoles laying around and games everywhere. I'm like, enough. So, yes. And for me, I've just been playing. Mostly I've just been playing. Playing my Dr. Dude. Playing my Wonelli. just having fun trying to beat the quarantine blues you know right and uh so who then what's the next segment and we got the um tribe members tribe members i know i'm not i know we don't have any do you vote i'm not voting for anybody i don't because if we get members the more tribe members we get then they'll usurp us and then we'll get booted off of our hospital takeover maybe we should reduce the tribe members maybe we should kick some folks off the island here slowly eliminate our competition. There's two tribe members. That's the way. That's just smart. That's science right there. I think so. The survival of the fittest. Let's not say fittest. Okay, that's a good point. Survival of the survivalists. We'll let that for Drew and Ian. Survival of who has microphones. Yeah, exactly. Good purchases. Make sure you guys get a good microphone. Get a good mic. Yeah. Okay. mailbag mailbag mailbag no i don't have an email oh email's broken maybe next week yes exactly which leads us to of course everyone's favorite would be the top 10 list or no top are we doing top 10 top five yeah top five that's the one i didn't i didn't make i i came up with five i didn't come up with 10 the other 10 have the virus and they went home what is our top five for this week Right. Okay, our top five this week. Shit to do while quarantined. Oh. Wah, wah. Wah, wah, wah. Yes. Instead of escaping the quarantine, we're going to embrace the quarantine. We're going to embrace it. Ugh. Gross. Yes. Anyway. Yeah. So what is your number? I actually even ranked them and everything. So what is your number five? I did. I did, too. I've got five through one. Okay, cool. So starting at number five. Number five. Don't kill your spouse. That person is a fucking saint for putting up with your stupid ass. Be nice. Ooh, that is a good one. Yeah. Yeah. My number five is listening to records. I have a couple thousand vinyl records, three and a half thousand, 3,500 vinyl records. So now I'm diving back into this collection and dusting some off and listening to them while I'm working from home. So now wait a minute. You're telling me you have thousands of games. Yes. Thousands of records. I have 1,800. Pinball machines. Do you live in a barn? Not yet. I'm hoping to get one of those Quonset huts that the Army used to use for like B-210 bombers. Yeah, sure. But all your shit. Just put a name. It's just shit across the top of where you go in. And as you're looking, it's like all this. It looked like Indiana Jones. Yeah. Right. I would imagine you have an equal amount of Godzilla bullshit also. I sure do. Yeah. The record collection, we pared it down. and it was flexing out and we were like we got to get rid of some of this So now we got it down to a tidy 32 to 3 Dear God The ones that we can live without you know And so I been taking this time to like listen to some records since I stuck at home Nice. All right. Number four. Yeah. Oh, I've got to do a thing like this? Yeah. All the sound effects. It's a high-quality show here. Okay. Number four. Record a pinball podcast when your favorite hosts die. R.I.P. Drone Ian. Nice. Aw. We hope maybe they'll find a zombie cure, and then they can come back and be zombie poor men pinball drunks. Oh, zombie poor men. I like that. Yes. A lot more moaning and groaning, but, you know, that's the way it goes. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not listen to Drone Ian moan and groan. That's a whole other. Choose your words wisely. Right. That's what I should have done. My number four is watch B movies. yay yes that's a that's i have a closet full of those so you can't ever go wrong yeah you and i need to compare b movies one of these days yes we do just just just you and me will do a b movie cast or something like that yeah i actually did you ever get a chance to listen to some of my older ones i had that one called slow robot go go i yeah go ahead the solo ones are a little i think boring compared to ones when dr morbius will lose me i don't know if you hit the middle the chunk in the middle which is the middle most portion has a co-host dr morbius who is very knowledgeable and he he was a good we played off each other pretty well so yeah you guys are goofing on camera right now yeah it's okay it's out of love it's always out of love so you know right right right all right so what do you got number we're at the number three right oh number three Number three, play music. Music is medicine. It is the Nacho Street Band way. Nice. See what I did there? I got another plug in for the Nacho Street Band. Hey, wherever you can get it, you get it, right? Damn right. You're in marketing. You know this. Yep. Going to get the rub. All right. So, yes. And my number three is, oh, a new game has dropped for the Switch. I think we all know what it is. I can live on the outside in my Animal Crossing's kingdom that I'm slowly growing. So Animal Crossing craze has hit my world. So is Animal Crossing kind of like Farmville was back in 2008 or whatever? Kind of. It's one of their cornerstones. So it's really fleshed out. It's a good game where you just slowly build your town, build your residence, buy stuff, work. It's the same as real life but a little bit more fun. It's the same as real life. Except I have a lot more sense of pride about my Animal Crossing than I do about my real life. Except I want to invite people into it. Make of that what you will. Exactly. I shut people off in my real life. I build walls, emotional and literal walls to keep people out. But in Animal Crossing, I'm always welcoming people in. Have you seen the – is there a mod? Is there like a dinosaur mod for Animal Crossing? um i thought i saw some sort of a godzilla or no you can order it i have one oh okay okay like i saw something on the facebook today yep you buy it i bought one i have a big red one sitting right when people come off of the boat there's a gigantic godzilla and uh you know my wife has got a black one that i'm going to put right next to it so they'll have to walk through the towers of Godzilla when they enter my... Can you set the Godzilla to attack any visitors? There's also a robot. Like a Gundam, like a big Gundam. No, I don't think you can program them to kill, but maybe there'll be a mod for that, which would be just wonderful. Alright, so that was my number three. What is your number two? Number two. So, I was talking to Ian before he died, and he told me that Pornhub is free for the next week or so. so that's one of my things to do while quarantined. Very good. That is perfect. I didn't know that. And so that's a, that's a, I don't know if that's true or not. It's free until you get the bill in the, in the, what's this phone bill? Right. $300,000. That's a lot of money. I don't know what that's about. Could have bought a pinball machine for this much. Yes, exactly. That's your number two. My number two, since, since this is a pinball podcast, playing pinball. That's a, you know, I make sure every day I dedicate some time to going out and playing my doctor dude. My cat like jumps up on the, I have like a little bar stool. He jumps up aside and just sits there watching me play, which is really cool. So, uh, playing some pinball and keeping my skills sharp for hopefully when this ends. Sharp skills. Yes. Sharp. All right. Here we are. Number one. We're at our number one top five things to do while quarantined. Oh, it's me, right? Yes, it is. I introduced myself. I was like building suspense in an old-fashioned way. Not talking. My number one thing to do while quarantined? Drink! God damn it, drink! Yes. Nice. Very good. Now I wish I would have done mine for drinking, too. Sadly. Well, we've been doing that anyway. Yeah, sadly my top number one for how I'm beating this quarantine is working from home. Aw. Aw. Yeah, exactly. I need that little bop bop sound because I'm not really – neither of us are quarantined without a job right now, so we're just working away like normal. I am working from home, which is great. So that's my favorite. Okay. I used to have to commute, and now I just sit at my desk. All right. Yeah, so there you go. Maybe that's the new normal for you. Who knows? Hey, if you're out there and you think of stuff that we missed for this wonderful how to beat the quarantine blues send it in to drew and ian and they'll say i don't know what this is about and it'll create lots of confusion so do that that'd be great i love it i'd love to hear feedback like these hose bags totally fucked up your podcast this is gonna be the most lowest rated tons of hate mail they're gonna be like oh my god what are these guys doing what do they think you know what's the best part of the hate mail is none of the hate mail comes to us. Exactly. We actually set up a hotmail on my, when we did that, we had that public access show. We had send your hate mail to goscrewyourself at hotmail.com and it never got me. Was it a real email address? Yes. I put up and it said if you love the show and then we gave our address. We never got any hate mail. We got one or two from people that didn't like us cursing so much. Oh, that's great. Yeah, it was funny. It's public access. You can say anything you want to. Yeah, you're going to be held accountable, but you can say whatever you want. I know where you work. Oh, shit. Yeah, exactly. So that, I think, is it. I think that wraps it up. Oh, now, we've had a lot of fun making fun of Drew and Ian, but honestly, we hope that they both feel better. We hope everyone's happy and healthy, and they can get back to their regular poor man's pinball schtick soon. Agreed. We are a poor substitute for the main man. Literally and figuratively. Damn it. So yes. But yeah, we just kind of thought, you thought you would shout an email saying we should do this and I was like, that sounds awesome. I know you do a show. How many shows do you do? Just one? I do. I actually have a show once a month called the Good Beer, Bad Movie Night. That's the one. Okay. And Martin, you're going to fucking love it. Cool. Especially the last year or two. Those early ones, as any podcaster knows, the early ones are rough. Real rough. Really rough. Audio be a harsh maiden. We've polished this show and it seems to be growing a little bit. I think we're up to three listeners now so we've doubled our listenership in the last four years my mom listens my cousin listens now you're right no no mom and dad do not listen no that's i don't i don't send i don't send mom and dad uh the link so uh but we uh at good beer bad movie night we uh talk about bad movies and we drink good beer so and depending upon the beer that we're drinking depends upon the level of intoxication at the end of the show like 11 uh-oh this is gonna get nasty real quick there was a i i have promised and i've done this on air i've promised the cast to not bring two nine percent or more beers uh to the cast because that one went off the rails and i was scolded by our singular female co-host it's like hey why don't you not bring big-ass beers anymore? So I said, okay, I won't. And then the very next week, someone else was in charge of bringing the beers and brought two 11%s in. You know, and my wife, she loves craft beers. She has like this app that shows how many you've had. Untapped. Yeah, untapped. That's the one. She has like 1,500 or 2,000. We've been to so many places where she gets those flights. She loves it. That's her shtick. and that's awesome. So I'm going to have to turn around to that because she's – unfortunately, she sat and watched most of these B movies that – not on her own fruition. She was trapped there while she was drinking beer, dealing with me watching these bad movies that I love so much. So I'm going to have to definitely turn around to that and make sure I check it out too. Yeah. That sounds fun. But, Martin, you have shows also. So tell me about your shows. Well, the defunct one that I sent you to listen to was the Slow Robot-A-Go-Go. Yes. I have bad feelings about that one because it kind of ended unceremoniously. It just stopped. I should go back and just kind of do one follow-up kind of saying, look, thanks for everyone for listening, blah, blah, blah. But we have over 350-ish. I think it's 350 or 340. The ones that I downloaded, there were a lot. It's a lot of shows. And if you go to the slowrobotagogo.wordpress.com, there's it's we have lists by alphabet alphabetized lists of what movies we did with the links and then we have by movie so uh by episode so it's it's there's a lot we like i think we figured out i watched over 1500 bad b movies for that shit yeah because yeah it was a lot you know at one point i watched every jean-claude van den movie in chronological order that he ever did and i from even like i stopped framed the one chuck norris one where he was a stunt driver and he was in a he was in a jeep and i stopped framed it so i could see him i was like there he is and he was in a jeep and i was like that's number one and then i went on oh no yeah so i i know quite a bit about jean-claude van damme movies uh did you see his thing on amazon his uh the one season he did i am jean-claude oh yeah yeah yeah for sure it was great at this point i can't not like i like i'm now legally i think contractually obligated even though i'm not getting paid so that's your your completionist right that's the one i love i love doing the b-movie podcast that was a lot of fun and now i'm doing two shows uh for radio st pete.com one's called the indie circuit where i play indie music and talk uh stupid and then right after that i play one called sake bamagogo which is all garage and uh garage and punk music from japan because I've been over to Japan a lot of times. Have you? Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, I'm so jealous. We had exchange students that we lived with, that lived with us, I'm sorry. And then I would go over. I went to Korea to teach English in 2011 to 2012. And on my breaks, I went over and I actually lived with those families. And they showed me around Japan and stuff like that. Oh, that's marvelous. Oh, it was. It was incredible. And then one of our exchange students got married like two years ago now. And we went over to be in her wedding and it was in the Jojo Castle. in Kyoto. Whoa! It was freaking insanity. That's beautiful. Then after that wedding, we went and stayed with another family, and they were like, that's not common. I was like, it was freaking crazy. You're sitting inside of a castle, and people are taking pictures because they thought it was like a show. Oh, man. It blew my mind. So I've been over there. So we went to Toho. I toured that. Yeah, we got to talk a lot. Oh, yeah, yeah. It was a lot of fun. So I really love the Japanese punk and garage world, the 5678s and all that kind of stuff. I've seen them twice. On a sidebar, not to usurp you here, but have you listened to Bradyo? No, what's that? They are kind of a pop-funk band, so they've got a horn background. Bradyo? Bradyo, B-R-A-I-D-O, Bradyo. Cool. I think they're mentioned here and there as Brady O'Flyer, but they're going by Brady O' anymore. That's cool. But they're a Japanese – it's not a funk band like you'd think a funk band, but it's like a rock band with horns. Almost Skaj maybe or no? No, definitely not Skaj. Definitely not Skaj. It doesn't have that reggae beat to it. That quacky – No, no, no, no. It is a rock with a horn section. Not necessarily – they don't feature the horns, but it's prevalent in the background. They're wonderful. I'll check them out. I can't recommend them. I'm always reaching out to these kind of bands to say, will you let me play your music? Oh, that's a good idea. I should do that. I don't have – now, that site, you can go into the audio. archives if you want to look for Indie Circuit or Saki Bamagogo but I'm going to actually, I got permission from the radio station, I'm going to set up my own sites just like Slow Robita Gogo so I can say, no, no, go to this site, it's going to have my shows so people can click them and listen to them because I feel kind of funny every time somebody says, where's your show? And I say well, go to the archive section of Radio Semi, like no one's going to do that. Who the hell's going to go one step beyond to like, nah, I'm not going to do that but thanks. So I'm going to eventually set this up where it's going to be one-stop shop for all of our dumbness. The dumbness. Yes, the dumbness reigns supreme. I always do give a plug for Poor Man's Pinball Podcast. I'm trying to spread the love, man. I want them to win next year. I think they're a good group. I think we need to make a push. Nothing against Canada, but – All right. I think that's it. Are we done? Is that it for this week? I think we've given up. We'll give the keys back and we'll say, okay, thanks for letting us borrow the Ferrari. Yeah, if they're still alive, I think we should return their house keys. If they don't live through this pandemic, you might be hearing a little bit more of us. But we'll err on the side of positivity that they will be back next year. And let us know if we are better than they are because I think this is a great show, a show that might be better than, no. It could be Poor Man Pinball 2 Electric Boogaloo. that's the way i mean i think that's oh that's totally what it is we'll just do this every once in a while and throw it up whenever they're like look we need a break from talking stupid we'll be like we'll talk stupid they'll be like uh here we go again so two stupidest guys can totally talk slightly less drunk but way dumber here they are you're getting them the pete and martin hour there we go all right well cool we'll come up with a better name i'm sure yes exactly all right cool that's i think that's gonna be it for this week are we good we're done that will be it we are good uh hopefully we'll hear from uh ian and drew maybe this week i don't know yeah i'm i'm sure they're gonna do something they can't stay once it's in your blood you can't stay away from the microphone very long indeed i don't know what i could do if i didn't turn this on once a week at least i'd be like i'd walk around in circles and what am i doing jewel on myself yeah all right so cool martin it was great uh it was great for me to Be your co-host. Oh, and vice versa. I think it is great talking to you, great meeting you. I think we should do this again, and I guess we should sign off. I believe you were correct. Have a great night. Thanks a lot, brother. Talk to you soon. Be safe, folks. Bye. Bye. You're still here? It's over. Go home. Go. Thank you.
