    Also, I will point out, on the LEs with Stern, you get the ultra-clear glass, and I've had a couple of moments where, yeah, I've been rip-mando. It's funny because I'm genuinely interested at this point in getting my hands and spending some time on the premium. I don't know if that when or if that will happen but my biggest issue with that game is the wood choppiness and there's a ton of that of course but the upper playfield to me looks like a lot more fun when you've got two flippers and then it feels more like you're doing sorry what's the game where you have two flippers at the bottom and you gotta get it to go up to the left and then you have another flipper and you get it to go up one more it's about motorcycles can't think of the name of it right now, but it's a wonderful game, and it just has a little bit of, yeah, Bonsai Run. Thank you, Meta Knight Men. So it feels a little bit like Bonsai Run. Nowhere near as awesome as what Bonsai Run has. But you get, I think, a little bit of that. So I'm imagining the premium might battle the wood chopping weariness a little bit. They have it at Blizzard Mountain Pinball. Oh, Bonsai, right? Yeah, and they also have a Bonsai at Pinball Jones here in Fort Collins as well. It's a super fun game. Really, really simple. Even though it's simple, every time I see it, I always want to play it. And I can do that because I'm not using USB. I'm instead using the Elgato Pro PCI card, PCI Express card. So I can have 10 different video captures all point to the exact same thing, and it doesn't seem to have any negative impact on my processor whatsoever. So I've got three independent references to the same camera, which is over to the right, I turned the saturation completely down on the far left. It's like at the halfway point and then it's oversaturated on the right. And then to the middle one, I added two, basically a second's worth of render delay. And then on the third one, I added two seconds of render delay. So I can do something like, hi, and you get a second delay between each. So there you go. That was just, it was an interesting idea before we got started. So I've watched so many of the Godzilla movies since I was a kid, and I need this game so badly. I need a premium. So, oh, which you can't see anymore, but it's very similar so what I've got is the same scene or the same thing copied multiple times and then cut and pasted uniquely I know Janelle it's it's really bad the motion sickness isn't there but those tangled cables make me sick so I did the same thing where I'm going to go back to mobile right and we've got discord which I have to open if you're unfamiliar with Discord you can, yeah sorry guys I know we're moving around a bunch so here we go, just waiting for that to open now that we have Discord set up at a level 2, we can stream internally to ourselves at 1080p 60 so huge benefit of that being oh yeah, you can see my CPU is pegging down here Now it's at 50. It was at 100 for a second. But let's say I start a conversation or a stream with Flipstream and Jedi McMuffin. It shows up over here, and I end up docking it or undocking it. I feel really like I don't want to show my computer, not that I have bad conversations or concerns. I just don't know what's being displayed. Someone's going to say, like, hey, press Control-H. uh anyway you take that you take that source and i'm going to switch back over then to showing three part and you copy it and then you cut it differently right so i'm basically getting two streams from two different people and they're each sending me three cameras i copy i i pull in all of discord one time into obs you pull it all into obs one time into its own scene and then I copy from that scene and apply different filters to it to pull in individually the two play fields as their own components, the two DMDs as their own components, and the two player cams as their own components, and then I can put those in scenes however I like.

    Get the cooling going for that machine. It's cool. It's fine. It's got fans. It's in Alienware. It's actually designed pretty well. So, docking, pegging, this is so against Terms of Service. So that is how you achieve it. And on top of that, there's now, if you do it the Discord way that we did on last night's battle, you no longer have to deal with any interesting delays or differences between the cameras. Everything is coming through at 1080, 60, and it does adjust automatically like it does if you're on a meeting, on GoToMeeting or something, where it gets a little fuzzy every once in a while when the quality drops. But otherwise, it's coming through a 1080 60 and everything is in sync. So there's no issues with audio coming in and somebody's mouth not moving consistently with the audio. When somebody from their player cam leans over and points to something on the play field, there's there's there's no delay. Right. Like you can see it actually happen like we're seeing right here. So it physically or emotionally. So that was the benefit of using Discord and we can do that now that we're at level two and it worked out really, really well. Emitting emotions. Take a glass of water dump it on that PC it cool down real quick So what were you using previously where you had audio sync issues I skeed you We were using desk camera when you having audio sync issues So desk camera allows you to take any video source or HDMI captured device or even webcams and turn them into Internet accessible devices meaning if you can set up port forwarding through your firewall to go to your computer, you can set up desk camera. And if you have three different cameras set up, Desk Camera provided you a link to get to each one of those directly. You can then add a source to OBS and set it because your sources for video or for a media source can either be local or remote. If it's remote, you can use RTMP or RTSP and pull in that source individually. So that's what we were using previously. In doing that, you end up with a delay because of processing power. There's a number of different reasons, and nothing is being synced as opposed to something like Zoom or GoToMeeting or now what we can do with Discord that we're at level two, where the processing power is there to basically transmit high-quality audio, video, all essentially live. There's a little bit of delay, but it's almost nonexistent. So how long does it take you to work with somebody on one end of the battle to configure their setup the way you need to be able to pull it into your setup? I see do. So the first time we did this, we used Nginx and that probably took a week of intense playing around to figure it out. And then we usually we I think we took us about two hours before each stream to get everything functional. Then we switched to desk camera and that was a lot of work by flip stream to figure out how to use desk camera. And we used desk camera for roughly about a year. And that required beforehand to get everybody set up, assuming you had everything on the streamer side all set up, maybe about 30 minutes. And now with Discord, it's easy. Now I can probably get it all done in 15 minutes if everybody else is prepped and they have their OBS scenes ready. That's the other benefit is you're now, as a streamer, you're very familiar with OBS. Yes, you're just streaming OBS using Discord. And then I'm getting it, receiving it via Discord, copying one source, and then just cutting and pasting all the individual components out of it. So it's way easier now with Discord, and it's all in sync. Break this down into dum-dum speak for me. If I wanted to stream my Godzilla home, how would I go about doing that with the most basic stuff? I've got a laptop, a capture, and three cameras. so dice if you were gonna now that's just you streaming right like there's there's no reason for you to go through the headache of discord if you're just going to stream so that requires you to open up uh obs which is open broadcasting system services i don't know what the s stands for whatever it's obs and it's open source so there's no cost associated with it you would then find a way to get three different cameras into your computer if it's a desktop system i cannot stress enough how maintenance or easy free it is, easy it is to not use USB or USB-C or anything like that. If you go with a dedicated card, you can plug, unplug things, rotate things around, move one into another, one back. It doesn't matter. It just works all the time. It's amazing. So if you're going to go that route, you would just get like an Eldado Pro for HDMI capture PCI Express card put that into a desktop. If you're using a laptop, it's a little bit more difficult. What's funny is Pinball Princess Jillian came up with a way of using the HDMI capture card in an external unit, but plugged it into her laptop using USB-C. And she mentioned putting together some documents on how to do that. I really, really am excited to see it when she gets there, because I would like to see that. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mundus. regardless it's getting three hi wolfman uh it's getting those three inputs into obs and then you build up different scenes right like one where it's just it's just the the face cam and you're if you're in horizontal orientation it's typically outputting at 1080 right uh so you can just make it take up the whole scene like we're doing right now or you can come in and go uh and start breaking things down, right? Like I'm doing a lot of other things with logos and moving background images. And I've built a widget that ties into the lighting system so that way people can change it. I've got some borders. There's other stuff going on and you'll figure out how you want that set up and how aesthetically pleasing to do it, how you can do it in an aesthetically pleasing way. But you'll figure that out over time. On top of that, when you do start streaming, hit me up. I've got so many assets that I've purchased from Nerd or Die over the years. I can just zip it up and send it to you. In fact, I think I already have a dedicated link that I've posted on TPN and a few other places for people just to download basically all of the animated borders and like the countdown timer and all kinds of other assets there.
