What up my Glops, this is Bo and we're here in Haverhill, Massachusetts at the World Head course of innovators, makers of the technology for headphone and volume control on the front of the machine, for Stern, for Dirty Jack, for Spooky as well. We are here to play Spooky Pinballs Rick and Morty. I have a special connection to this game being the rules designer for this project, so I'll take you through some of what we do in this game and how to play it. We can take you all the way through the completion of a Morty Adventure card as well as the Grand like multiball and different dimensions that you can travel through while playing the game. Welcome aboard fellow Morty. Alright, I already have Morty to take this down. There we go, good air pop. Super skill shot complete. That's right. You can get credit for those skill shots even when you don't quite make it all the way up to the goal entrance. because the optical is down there. So quickly we can take care of the movement. Backhand is... Oh, do all that flip-a-loops again, ball where I want it to go. This is... This is what... Put the right hand in, please. Okay, okay. Jeez, man. Oh, shit. You can backhand these shots here. You're not even saying anything about it. Yeah. What's up? Oh, shit. It's like you don't even care about the grip. Come on. There we go. So I'm really, really, really, really, really, really, really probably one of the simpler modes to complete. It doesn't mean it's easy, but most of the adventures and if you happen to light an adventure and it decides not to light the adventure star, it might leave the adventure star. You also start to hear some specific call-outs. You can hang on to the ball for a while. I'm really the one I was thinking of, Morty. I'm more of a Rick. Pickle Rick. Pickle Rick. Just start from the bottom and work your way up. Only the slam ring. And pickle rip, just start from the bottom and work your way up. So only the slam ring and the slingshots will score anything. And after a couple shots of slam and the sling, you can shoot the center shot. And you have to shoot, I think, five or six shots to qualify. It's pretty fun, actually, to kind of flip in and deliver I don't really shoot a bumper that's right in front of you. Dangerous attack too, of course. All right, we're in the second phase. And the second phase. You can't almost hurt myself. The target's more to fucking hit them. Hey, all right. Jeez, man. Yeah. Target's more to hit. So the targets can be any drop targets, these standard targets, the best number Jerry targets, like that. And it's still true that you want to get enough of them to activate the scoop. I mean, the scoop. 40, my portal gun's almost dead. I can't shoot that crawler. Ah. Oh, oh, that was. The lembas is jostled. The chumbles are agitated. Agitator chumbles. Ooh. Well, did all right there. That was a nasty roll in and out. It's go time. But I should have been able to do something about that. Almost got to the final phase of Pickle Rick. You think you're a super skill shot? You're more Morty than I am. Great shot. Good sound effect. Thanks, Scott. You're the best. You can do this. Come on. That would make enough. That would make enough. Oh, 1,000x brick target scoring. The best the best of all 1 That target is normally worth 500 points And we got Get Shwifty And Get Shwifty is the only mode that takes over all sounds And this is a special new version of Get Shwifty, recorded by Scott Denisi, extracting all the lyrics and making it a new version that can be put together for the purposes of the game. So it's not quite the original get swept. Good. And to get swept, you have to shoot the loops and the ramps and then the target. So it goes back and forth like that. Alright, alright, alright. Alright, now it's loops. Alright, alright, alright. Now it's targets. Now it's ramps. ... Hmmmm. 1-2-Dodge. Yay! So while Genshifty is going, you have a meter, a crowd meter, a cromulon meter, that tells you whether you're going to win or lose, be disqualified or be happy at the end. And if that meter is high enough, you win. And this dimension is a dead meat-cake spot. You hit the V6 box, nothing happens. Invisible garbage truck! Oh, damn it! All right, we got purged. We looked at purge earlier in the first game. Purge requires me to protect Morty who's on the right orbit from the purgers who are coming from the left. If I can shoot them, if I shoot enough of them, I'll get points for each one and I will get more. Also, if you want to be a jerk about this, you can wait until they come across and then hit them for pure value. But, of course, this is a generally bad idea for the obvious reason of, oh, uh-oh. And now there's someone all the way right to the right of just to the left of the story. So I'm in trouble unless I can get this trackulator to work. Now, there also is a few seconds when he's there, you can actually save him on the far right. But instead, you got purged. That ramp is worth zero. Two-way combo, zero. We're closing in on, this will be the ninth stab on the Morty Adventure card. I'm sorry, poke, not stab. After this, we'll have, all right, let's shoot the right ramp while we're at it here. Zero! We ain't kidding when we say there's no scoring. Oh boy. Yeah, saw that coming. What haven't we seen yet? I don't know, we've seen almost everything. Let's take a look at the list of what we've done and what we haven't played in the games we've got. Once you get a full punch card, you get the opportunity to play whatever adventure you choose to. Alright, well, let's get in there and take a look. We've seen Burd's, we've seen Crickle, we've seen Paroi, we've seen Pirates, we've seen Burley, we've seen McColl, we've seen Purge, we've seen Kerry, we've seen Shifty. We have seen them all at least once actually. There will be more added into the game as we go. So let's go to the red potion which is the most valuable. No, no. Yo, yo, hey, hey. It's a little case in the wrap. Ow. Ow. And out we go Wherever you smear this stuff on we fall in love with you And only you forever You happy now Morty Heck yeah Heck yeah Thank you Grandpa right Ow You gotta be aware Aware about the flu. Up in the air. I'mma give me a shot to make the flu go away. Flu hit the floor. Okay, you have to shoot Morty first. Morty smears it on Jessica, who will reveal the wheels like, Yes, please. Please. Hey, hey. Hey, hey. Hey. Hey. Step to the left. Step to the right. And your chin is flat. If you don't have a clue, then go find a listen. The flu's not as listed all around us. I'm a flu-hating rapper. Go to the crapper when the flu comes out. Like, look at that. You got the flu. What do you do? You go to the doctor. You get the shot. Actually, it's too late at that point. This is about flu awareness. You got to be aware of the flu in the air, miss. All right, I'll focus on the purple shots. Go, go, go, go. Now this is going to be dangerous because I get to... I'm going to have to get past the first phase of this. So here's an opportunity with two rolls, you can bop one up and make a seat shot sometimes. I love Morty. I am his man. He's looking at me. I'm going to be the addable there. He's looking inside me. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Oh, boy. So here you have to make four of these. And I hope Morty loves me. I wonder if this is going to work. I wonder what will happen. So now all shots are worth points, but each shot is paid. That shot was worth $3 million. This dimension seems pretty safe. Because you're trying to change the ones that are colorish. Hey, you can do three in one now. That's cool. And you want them to all become the same color. So here now I've got two blues and a green. And you look and say, okay, well the loops and ramps are the same, so I should shoot for targets. I shoot for targets. I have them all blue. And everything is ready to go. You can shoot and advance to stage four. Oh, this is clearly going to work. Everything is fine. Yes, very much so. He's not right. Yeah, you. You're not right. Yeah, you. You're not right. No! Look, you idiot! He's going to have a level here. He's going to step in the right direction. At this point you're exchanging shots to Rick and Morty. I've started V6 Mania also here by collecting V6s. And you can make other shots. Here you're shooting the Rick and Morty shots to a glass. but the other shots add the value. So you're going to shoot other shots to make Cronenbergs, and the purple shots will advance you. So here you actually have the ability to decide how much you want to go for here. You just want to advance. If you want to shoot the purple, shoot Beck and Morty. If you want to get extra value, you should shoot all the other purple shots first. And eventually, the purple. Cassie. No, oh no! I'm very sensitive. Bam, boom, 13 seeds. This is where the biggest points come from. They don't just come from completing good modes and getting a wizard. Everything in that wizard was four times value because I had won four times on my card. But then everything also gets a percentage on top of the cherry by getting a number of mega seeds. Now I can get more mega seeds now, but I wanted them then because that was when the biggest value came. So coming back around it pretty difficult to get to a second Morty Adventure card but it is possible And he took it and took the play Oh yeah double super silver You more moody than I am great shot There you go Add more diggity. Pretty great mystery. That's pretty valuable. Why is there no diggity? I never get diggity, it looks like there's no diggity at all. And there, what just happened is I finished off every magazine that was on the playfield, the portal fully recharged immediately. What do we got, what do we got? Scary Terry, sweet. What do we got? What do we got? Scary Terry! Sweet. TV. bitch. In case you're wondering, that is Charlie and Greg's voice over Scary Terry. So the more shots you make during that first phase, the bigger the value is in the second phase. So now every hour I collect is worth $200,000. That means that's $400,000. This center cell will be $200,000. The left, the, uh... More on the left side. Get up there. Get up there. Get up there. Careful, bitch. He took over the tilt call response also. Get up there. I really want that side. Three hours. Five hours so far. This is perfect, buddy. Look at that. He's getting sleepy. All right, let's knock him out. Alright, so pretty low Scary Terry because I didn't get very many shots in the first phase. And I only got the minimum for hours. Whoa! Brutal! Well, I guess you gotta go down. That's one way to go. Oh, I got an ice ball. I thought that was it. Alright, what else did I do? What should I do that I haven't done yet? Go for slammering? Ooh! Did you hear what he said? Hell yeah, straight to the garage. Nicely done, yeah, I really care. All right, what do we got here? We've got Roy. Ah, sweet. Let's talk about the blue shots of Roy. So first off, we were inspired by the real thing in the game, which is the show, which is it's played through twice. Roy was in a rut, unable to move on with his life. Morty plays it through, and he survives cancer and goes back to the carpet store. Then Rick plays through, and it's totally different. Rick is burning his social security card and doing all sorts of random stuff. So we take any shot we want to, whether it's green or orange. And an orange shot. Ah, shit. Sorry, I didn't get so team. You're supposed to sit in the magazine here. And when you hit the magazine, it will light up in blue. and that blue shot will give you an extra power-up, the Rick option, instead of the normal good or bad option. The Rick option is worth more points. The Rick option at the end will have you live forever instead of dying at a certain age, and it ends up being worth a huge bonus. You can make that as your fifth and final shot. So hopefully this gives you a reasonable layout of what we did. You can also watch the tutorial on Papa Pinball YouTube channel. Big thanks to the Pinnovators and to Mark from Backhand Pinball for being here to record. We'll be putting this up on Twitch first and then on Pookie's YouTube. And we've made some notable awardees. More importantly, we've pushed Mitch Curtis off of the high score table. And that's always a good day. Well la-dee-dah! Thanks so much for watching. If you have questions about the game, feel free to reach out through email or comments. We'll be happy to answer whatever questions you have about it. And hope you get a chance to play our Good Morning Pinball. We feel like it's really done a great job. Take care. Well, it could have gone far worse.
