How do you people do this? I don't know. I sat there and I was watching. I would think it would be over after that. Like the first one, they'd be like, well, that's weird. And then the second one would be like, well, let's see where this goes. Maybe they don't all like that, act like that. And then they do. And then you go, yeah, that's a good idea. Let's keep doing this.
1:51
Ah, we kid. All our kids came pre-made from Japan. Or Vietnam. So, you know, it was kind of, you know, they were already kind of done already. They were already ready to go. You know, so it was all good.

But, yeah, it was interesting. Now, her husband, Chris, does like arcades and pinball machines. He's been talking about getting a pinball machine for a long time. Right. So we were like, okay. I was like, that's going to be cool. So I made sure they were all in working order, which I generally do anyway. And I was going to, I was for the show, I was going to say like, let's see what gets the most play. Because now, you know, you have someone that has no Pinball machine, doesn't have any Pinball machines. He's talking about them. And I think sooner or later, they're going to get one or two. Once he gets one, then he'll get two. Yeah. Or more. So I was turning him on, and he went right to Godzilla. That was the one he wanted to play. I was like, okay, cool. I was like, you know, we have Elvira. I figured Elvira would be a draw. I sent the Beatles, you know, and then I sent some of the older ones. And he only played Godzilla.
    3:02
There was two different sessions, and the one time he just went down there by himself, which, you know, that's just whatever. I was like, just turn him on, play whatever you want, you know. Right.
    3:12
And then he was playing that for a little bit. Then he came up and was like, ah, I gotta learn how to play. Now, he was doing okay. Yeah. You know, I just, he was trying to, I think he was, how did he say it? He was trying to. He was trying to learn the game. Trying to learn the game. And that's why I was like, eh, I didn't say anything, but I was like, the first, you just let the game reveal itself. Yeah. That's how I play it. The first while I'll let a game just show me what you got. Play like hell and let the game slowly reveal itself to you. But then the second one, I went down and I flipped a bunch of them on. And he was still just playing Godzilla and I played Elvira and I played the Beatles and whatever. And I was like, I went up and when he came back up, I said, what did you play? And he was like, oh, I was just working on Godzilla trying to figure out some of the shots. And I went, huh. That is the exact opposite of what I would do if someone said, here's a whole basement of pinball machines. Play whatever. See you later.
    4:15
At least you would have been down there forever. Yeah, like playing all of them. Right. Because even if I had it at home, I would still play it. I don't know why. I just do it. That's how I am. And that's not right or wrong. No. You know, because then he was talking about he said, oh, well, between Rick and Morty and Avengers, X-Men. No, I forget. It was Avengers, wasn't it? Yes, I think so. I think he has a couple local. And I said, well, I know because I know he likes Rick and Morty a lot. He was talking about Rick and Morty to me when they first hit. Yeah. So then I started watching them. And then that was before the obviously before the pinball machine. So I know he loves the theme. It's kind of like, eh, it's a good game, but it's kind of a butt kicker, you know. You might, for the first one, you might want to try, you know, kind of a Stern is going to be a real safe bet. Lots of, pretty bulletproof, lots of help if you need it. Not that Spooky doesn't, but I think he would be working on the Spooky one a little bit more than just a regular Stern, you know. And I kind of threw a couple of those ones out there saying, I look around. I said, right now it's a pretty good time to buy. News market's pretty good. It's not crazy town like it was, well, not six years ago.
    5:36
I'm not sure when, if and when. Hopefully they consult us. He's been talking about getting one for a long time. I know. I don't know when. It'll probably be when Astrid's out of college. And I'll be like, well, you can get that Rick and Morty pretty cheap now because it's 20 years old, 30 years old, whatever. So you know but it was an interesting study I was curious because I always interested to see who plays what and how they play it If they like it, if they just are laughing and having fun and really bad at it, which he was not. No, not at all. It was interesting.
    6:16
I thought for sure he would play Elvira too because that's a fun game. It's a funny game. You know, but, eh. Astrid was kind of scared of Godzilla, so I was a little surprised that he kept going back to it. Yeah, well, and she didn't even touch them, right? No, she stood on a chair in front of him while he was playing it. Oh, and she was like, what? She was just watching him. Now, we don't have, our cats don't like pinball either. No. I tried to put all the cats on the pinball machines and they are having none of it. No. I see those videos of those cats like, oh, this is so fun, and they jump around and everything. No. I see cats riding rumbas. I see all of them. Our cats are doing that. Right. Rumbas that are disguised as a tank. Just doesn't matter. Our cats are, they have no. No interest. No thank you. And that's the same as Astrid. Because I want to put Bubby in one of those soldier outfits. Same as Tao. She had no interest in them either. I didn't think she came downstairs to look at them. She was like, yeah, whatever. I think she came down when Chris and Astrid were down. Because I think she took a video of them. She sure didn't play any. No. She had no interest. Yep. I don't think any of the girls ever played them, did they?
    7:33
Maybe Sarah did. Did we have them then? Oh, yeah. Well, we had the Austin Powers, and then we had the Dr. Dude and the Austin Powers.
    7:42
Oh, well. What are you going to do? Yeah. So I guess the big news is the newest, greatest thing in the history of the whole wide world, Sonic is out.
    7:52
As soon as the game hits, it's the greatest thing that's ever been made and everything else, you just light it on fire with gasoline. But until next week when something, oh my God. The next new one comes out. The rumor. Oh, the rumor. So, yeah, I haven't seen a whole lot. I watched a little bit. It looks like obviously a very fast game, exciting game. I don't even know if we're going to be able to see one before Expo. I'm sure Lumberjack's going to have one. Yeah, maybe. I'm sure Glow in the Park's going to have it. Yeah, it's true. One of them will. Yeah. It's interesting. It's a game that looks like it's going to have a lot of neat shots. I guess there's an upper play field that's clear. Oh. That doesn't, that you can, like, it doesn't kind of impede. Oh, nice. I'm not a super fan of the upper or submerged places. I feel like they're hard. Well, they're hard to do anything for. You're just kind of flailing around and then it drops down. No, it's not. Some are good. Yeah. But mostly I just kind of flail around and then it just drains or whatever. Yep. Okay.
    9:00
But we'll see. You never know. I know it has a very unique topper. I did see a little bit of that, so that's kind of cool.
    9:09
What else did we do? Before that, we went down to Glow in the Park. I finally got to play Windsor House. Winchester. Winchester House.
    9:19
That's a cool game. I do like that game a lot. I don't know if I would buy one, but I wouldn't not buy one. It's very cool. I like the theme a lot, and it plays really well. It shoots well. So that was a real surprise, that one. It came out of nowhere, and boy, is it neat. It is. You know. And they have Winchester No. 2 at Glow in the Park. That's right. That was like No. 2. I was like, what? Yeah. That's amazing. Right. You know. They have a really nice setup down there at Glow in the Park. Well, now they had it a second floor. They did. See, that wasn't there the last time. First time we went down there, there was just some pinball machines. It wasn't even like how it is. No. You know, I guess he works with Flippin' Out. So they kind of got a really good, they got a lot going on there. Yeah. You know. They have, they started selling beer recently down there, like canned beer. I think local, I think maybe Titletown. Yeah. I don't know if they had Lion's Tail or not. I think maybe they did. Yeah, you know. But they've also got, they also had those Pac-Man Skee-Balls. Yeah, they did. Now, I like those only because of Pac-Man, but the old school ones are cooler. Yeah. You know. I mean, if you have limited space, though, those are nicer. Well, I just like, Pac-Man has taken so much of my money at this point. Why not? Really, honestly. And Skee-Ball, mine.
    10:55
But yeah, I always will play, you know, either at Lumberjacks or wherever. I'll always play Skee-Ball like once, you know. Yeah. I'm not good at it, but it's okay. Yeah. I love Skee-Ball. The Namco one is cool. Yeah, it is. I just like that because it has so much of the Pac-Man tie-ins everywhere, you know. Mm-hmm. And then – But I think they – so they added a second floor, which I think was there before they just opened it up now. Right. I think there was maybe 10 machines, 8 machines upstairs.
    11:31
Yeah. And then they had those slot machines too. Which that's, if you're not from Wisconsin, a lot of places have like a few slot machines stuck in the corner somewhere. A lot of places. All places. Yeah. Restaurants. My bathroom I think has one. I don't know. No. Yeah. So is it there? I never I don see a lot of people on them usually Right They have them at the bar that I play pool Uh And there usually people on there I think there some kind of weird rule that you don get taxed on it in a bar
    12:13
Right. I thought that was weird. Well, they're probably like, well, they're not going to report it anyway. Right. I've got Wanta. Nah. Yeah. Wanta does that when she plays darts. And she won, I guess, a bigger pot and didn't have to, doesn't have to claim it. Well, most bars are like a church. Most people go there religiously, so I guess it's the same as the church that doesn't get taxed, right? Maybe. I don't know. I don't know what the rule is. I just thought it was very odd. Me too. That's very odd indeed. But not a whole lot. I hit a thousand games total. Not games. Days. A thousand days on my Insider Connect. So I have my streak is at 6.05 or something like that. But my total days is a thousand and now a thousand three or whatever it is. Wow. Yeah. That's a lot. Moving and grooving. Yeah. And it means nothing. It means something to you. Yes, sure does. It means enough that I do it every day. Right.
    13:16
So what else do we got? You got the numbers? I do. Let me drop in the official numbers thing song. Saddle up the whole dang crew. Lumberjack Johnny's is calling you. Axes fly, skee-balls roll. Pinball popping, arcades glow. A hundred beers, hot smoked meats. Pizza so good, you're stomping your feet. Lumberjack Johnny, your fun time one stop retreat.
    13:45
And we're back. We are back. So what do we got? So for week ending 6-23. 20-26. Yes. In case you're listening in the future.
    13:58
We have at number three, Beetlejuice. Number three. Oh, I see where this is all going. Go ahead. Only by one dollar. One dollar. Yep. Don't tell us your dollar doesn't count. It does count. Oh my God. And that is Harry Potter at number two. Number two. Yep. And guess what number one is? What's number one? Transformers. Yes, it is more than meets the eye from what I hear.
    14:28
It is. Yeah. We played that down there. We did. We've got some more time on that. That's a good game. It really is. I guess any new. So no Pokemon. Wow. No Pokemon. Come on. So yeah, I mean anytime there's a new game, it's going to draw. You know, it just does. Everyone's so curious and they want to find out more about it. Especially these crowds, they're so like, I don't want to say insider connect, like tournament people. So they have to like figure out as much as they can. So they'll play and play and play. That's true. I didn't even think of that. So what are the bottom dollar, what are the dullest axes in the wood? Third dullest axe. Iron Maiden. Maiden. Second Dullest. Run to the Hills Maiden. All right. What's the second Dullest? Black Knight. Black Knight. Okay. And then? Ultraman. No. Oh. Aerosmith. Aerosmith. Yeah. Huh. Yeah. Yeah. You know, that's no surprise. I'm sure they're still probably drawing some money, but it's just kind of, you know. Yeah. I was surprised. First time Lumberjacks had Aerosmith, I had to rack my brain if I ever played it before. And I had, but like twice. Even when I played it, I was like, eh, you know, whatever. So what about this for this week? All right. So then for week ending 630, we have at number three. This made me so happy. Uh-oh. Star Wars. Yay, Star Wars. Fall of the Empire. Yes. Beating out Beetlejuice. Wowzers. By 75 cents. There you go. Mm-hmm. All right. So then at number two, Harry Potter. And the number one, Transformers. Harry Potter is just hanging around. Yeah, it is. Harry Potter is the Pokemon of the top three, really. That's surprising. It is. I think it's that IC connection. Right. If they would get that going. Pokemon companies. They're killing it. Because if that was going, that's when the fever would be trying to get them. Yeah. Because you can collect them now, but you can't show your friends which ones you have. And you don't even know at this point if it's going to count. Right. You know. Right. Golly. Right. Let's start a petition to angrily write Pokemon, and then they'll ignore it. But we can make us feel better about it. All right. So what are the bottom three? All right. So number three is a tie. Okay. Third from the bottom is X-Men and Iron Maiden. And Maiden again. Mm-hmm. Okay. Number two from the bottom is Star Trek. Okay. And then the dullest X is Ultraman. The one that bounces off the wall when you throw it. Poor Ultraman. Yeah. Poor Ultraman. Oh, well. I didn't – I only think I said this last time. When I played it, I didn't dislike that game. No. And it did have some interesting stuff going on there, like the little subway where it popped up at the bottom. There was some neat things to it. I wouldn't – I'd play that game. Yeah. I mean you know Yeah If I found one cheap I can say I wouldn bring it home next to Godzilla and they could just sass at each other at night Probably
    18:07
Well, in my head they would. All right. So that's good. Are we ready? You got anything else before we go to your beer? Oh, I think projectpinball.org is having some sonic drawings. They might already be over, but go to their website, projectpinball.org. Check it out. They might have some raffles. If not, buy something. Give them a couple bucks. It's a good, worthy cause. Right. I would also like to talk about Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay. Okay. Do they have pinball machines there? No. I'm kidding. They have cats there. I know. Last week or the week before, there was a bad storm that went through Green Bay, and their roof caved in.
    18:48
So if you feel like you need to give somebody money, maybe look them up. Donation. I believe they're taking donations at their website. Yep, they are. I know for sure they are because they're doing well. But that was really a bummer. Of all the places to get popped, these animal shelters are struggling as they are. They're always underfunded. No one cares. No one helps. Then that happened. I was really bummed out about it. Yeah, me too. I know all the cats got foster homes. All the animals got foster homes, which was yay for that community. That's awesome. Yes. So check them out. What's the full name? It is Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin. All right. We'll post, I'll post it on our Facebook page. Very responsible of you. Yes. Okay. Time for everyone's favorite song. Thank you for listening. And.
    19:45
Craft Bruce Sally. You're gonna have to put your journal down. Crab Brew Sally Child, you've been to all the breweries around, you've been running all over the town, tell me what to drink until I fall on the ground, yeah, somebody put some beer in my mug. All right, what do you got for us this week? This week I'm going to talk about Amber Sunsets. Doesn't that sound glorious? Wow, I like long walks on the beach, Amber Sunsets, love songs on my guitar.
    20:35
Go ahead. Nah. This is a Amber Ale made by Bridge Up Brewing Company in Sturgeon Bay. All right. The reason I even bought it was it has a really nice label.
    20:54
There you go. Advertising sells, folks. Right. Well, this is the label was done by a local artist in Door County. Not me. Nope. Her name is Josie Schultz. For the record, I'm a graphic janitor, so I wouldn't make it, but I would fix it so it prints correctly on the label.
    21:14
The artist would say, how dare you touch my Pantone colors? I'd be like, I'm making it right for the label. It's okay. I got to add traps and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Go ahead.
    21:27
I don't know if I have anything to add after that. So how'd you like the beer? It was really good. The reason I got it was because I normally go for IPAs, but when Chrissy comes, he doesn't really like IPAs. So I look for other stuff. Cool. And there it was. Yes, Amber Sunsets by Bridge Up Brewing Company. If you're ever in Sturgeon Bay, you should go there. Bridge Up Brewery. Is that like a play on Words of the Furlan, like Word Up or Word to Your Mother? It's like Bridge Up to Your Mother, yo. No, I think there's actually a bridge that goes up in Sturgeon Bay. That's boring compared to my version. Get on my level. Word to your mother, Bridge Up.

Oh my goodness. I have mixed feelings. I guess I'm going to drop in the podcast or Genius because I'm not going to just play that one time. Right. We're going to have to play some of Skateboarder Glenn's S to the 10th power goodness on the way out. Got anything else? No. Me either. All right. Well, thanks for listening, one and all. This has been a show 101, like the highway, pinball junk drawer. My name is, was, and always will be Foghorn Leghorn with me as always. Craft Brew Sally. And we hope to see you for Big Show 102, filled with awesomeness and awesome songs and whatnot.

The Poor Man's Pinball Podcast presents Podcasts of Genius. Podcasts of Genius. Today we salute you, Foghorn Leghorn and Craft Bruce Sally. It's a hundred episodes of the Pinball Jump Drawer. Never before have two less famous people ever created pseudonyms for themselves just to confuse their listeners. They're hiding from the Pinball Paparazzi. When Ian and Drew hung up their headphones, the two of you could have also turned your back on the tribe, but you refused to let this podcast channel die. Don't forget about Orbital Albert! When we suck at video games halted, we all held our collective breaths, but the junk drawer marched on, bringing us commentary, craft beer reviews, and stories from Stern media events. Gotta buy a cod, we're cod on a goose, Stern! So cheers to you, purveyors of pinball podcasting. Without the junk drawer, we'd have no pinball content for our ears or our butts. Tim Lee still sucks at pinball. Rooty bottle by Slippy Slapy Sandside Simply Solt the Sugar Situation Shifting Slapy Sour Singing Sometimes Skateboarder Glenn.
