Wow, I literally just pulled out the protection layer of my phone. I didn't even know that was on there, so that's awesome. My phone looks brand new. What's up, guys? Welcome back to my channel where I talk and do everything pinball. So if that sounds interesting to you, then hit that subscribe button down below. Welcome to Pinball Omnibus episode 2, where I talk about a lot of things going on in this hobby in a short amount of time. So let's kick this pig. Damien from Haggis Pinball has posted a video as well as a picture. That picture being they have boxed their first game of Celts and they are finally going out to individuals. So a milestone definitely. You are a lot further than Deep Root is there. it's uh is it sad that deep root has now become like the butt end of a joke nah i don't think so but along with shipping their first game they have also released a teaser for their upcoming title and the teaser kind of leans towards it being jaws i mean damien did specify that the next title that they would be doing would be a licensed theme but that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be jaws but the way the trailer teaser words things it just kind of makes it seem like that's what it could be although I think it could be nope nope nope not turning off right there I still have yet to see the end of that movie next up we've been hearing rumors of what Stern's next title was going to be but it seems like Kaneda is doubling down on what he is hearing the next title is going to be and the rumors are pointing towards it being Mandalorian Now Kaneda been right sometimes and he been wrong sometimes but he very confident that it going to be Mandalorian Brian Eddy as the designer and I'm really hoping this is going to be a good game, mainly for Brian's sake. I really want him to show us again what he's capable of, and I'm not going to harp on Stranger Things. I'm not. I'm not going to do it. I'm just saying I'm hoping this game is better than his previous. That's all I'm going to say. We are starting to see alien pinballs more and more throughout the community. And a video of an unboxing was posted by RetroSyngico. I'm going to mess up your name there, man. I'm sorry. I will put a link down there below for the entire video so you can see him unbox it. And from what I see in the video, I am enjoying what I see when it comes to the quality and the cleanliness cleanliness and just the manufacturing it looks like it's been put in place to build this game it looks very good and down to just the back of the game i was noticing how the hinge that they have that locks in place they've actually got it a 180 in comparison to what they used to be like you know on the 90s games for bally williams and i was like why did they got it upside down And then it hit me that that's actually a very good way to put that because so many times, I'm sure many of you out there have had to move those machines and the hinges, if they have not been removed, the locking hinge, then you're going to have issues with it dragging on the ground. It's just not a pretty thing and fun thing to deal with. So with it being reversed, you can see it in the video, that's actually a much better way of doing it. But he goes over the entire game inside and out underneath the play field. I highly recommend that you watch it. His only complaint not only complaint but the major complaint that he has is with the audio quality And mainly due to the fact that there not much bass in the audio And that's a little bit of a kicker right there because for the license of Alien, I'm not sure if you've watched these movies, but bass really does matter and everything, especially when it comes to the audio soundtrack of the game. Or the movie, I should say, actually. A little update, I know I've told you guys that I will be doing an unboxing and video for Alien Pinball that is still planned for the future, I just do not have a date of when that's going to be. Supposedly, it's on a boat. Next up, Spooky Pinball is expanding their operations for the fifth time now. I mean, they actually posted this picture like the March 29th on Facebook showing us that they are currently breaking ground on expanding their operations, which is obviously a good sign for pinball. That means that they are going to hopefully be putting out more games faster because as of right now, it's not that they make bad games. It's that they can't make their games fast enough. Another little tidbit is that they should be revealing their next title in summertime. That is what we're getting information-wise so far. If you watched my previous episode, I talked a little bit about Celine Dion having an announcement on the 21st, and it looks like it was somewhat pinball-related. Well, it's not pinball-related. Her announcement is her section of the video that is evidently announcing an opening to a new casino in Las Vegas, her section is dedicated to pinball relations in general and it's just the theme of it basically but here that section is right here to save you guys some time so so and we'll wrap this up with a quick little update on my johnny mnemonic restoration I've ordered all new ramps guys. I was going to keep my originals and just do some flame polishing on them and stuff like that but then I got to thinking and I've got a little bit of an idea of what I'm going to do with these new ramps and I was excited at first whenever I was adding these ramps to the cart because I was like man these actually are priced pretty dang decent. I mean they're located in Australia but they're priced pretty dang decent and then I got to the shipping cost and I was like holy shit. So obviously those ramps are going to take a while to get to me and I'm okay with that because I still got a good ways to go with the plate field. I hope to be clear coding that game maybe next week. Carl Weathers pending of course but I'm hoping, fingers crossed, that I'll get to it next week. If you want more details on the Johnny the Monarch restoration as well as just details sooner than the general public, then by all means feel free to join the rest of the gang right here on my Patreon subscribers. And with all that, that's going to wrap up episode two of Pinball Omnibus. If you haven't already, hit that subscribe button. Give me a thumbs up. It really helps out the channel. Until next time, peace out. you
