songs are there there's five modes right there's five modes so what do you do what do you do in each of the modes well i i prefer to play the the loop mode uh no no i'm talking about the other modes no the loop mode the loop so like heart all the songs like like the uh there's a spinner song what are you doing spinner song oh you shoot the loops because it hits the spinner and then you shoot more loops until it's done what do you do on the pop bumper song well on the pop over sean you shoot the loops to time it out because they're they have good value okay the magnet pulls it into the jab so you can't really keep looping but you still go back to the loops yeah of species drop targets tell me about the droppings you shoot the loops because the targets aren't worth anything okay but in multiball yeah well in multiball you shoot the loops because it's switch hits the light jackpots and then when the jackpots let you shoot the loop because that's where the jackpot's at and then after you keep doing that uh so hours alexander picked this in every round as you guys can see here though they removed the catapult assembly they're putting in coins and pressing start oh those are instructions they're gonna be doing that they're gonna be hitting the flipper button that's gonna cause the paddle unfortunately on this one this is a an early version and underneath that flipper they decided to put a little uh canyon divot oh for the ball decision for the ball to get stuck yeah because it's a good idea to you know they want to cut a little weight out of the game so they routed this little divot there and for some reason nobody's decided to just put some sticky tape or anything in that hole i suggested mylar i mean so if you disabled the flipper though it would that would be a way of covering the divot and then the ball would win win the ultimate win-win so this game played longer than all the other games combined without the ball getting stuck add the extra time of the ball getting stuck and it's and we're playing this morning and that's why we're here this morning uh hopefully the the hardcore uh pinball watchers stayed up all night in case in case we could have gone live at any time any time uh but so alexander picked this he played i want to say five times yesterday six times uh never failed to exceed i think because 350 was his his bad game uh he put up maybe 500 or so again he's been benching 350. yeah yeah 10 reps uh keith ellen is the only one to have beaten him on it that was impressive what was weird about that is keith went to the effort of chopping the wood and getting the seven or 800 million to beat him but he picked beatles first first in the in that round and lost he said he didn't want to chop wood so he picked beetles and then lost and then he went pick second because he knew he'd go to black knight and then chopped wood and then and then he lost on uh alexander beat him on uh jurassic park yeah on the slide table gillette jurassic park with the center drain off the punch yeah i don't know his heart didn't seem in it at the end so uh they did stick it to me with that snake shot jerk that was let's talk about that so there was a game of awesome wounded me deeply a deadpool and uh so kaylee what what what's your little thing on deadpool that you do that takes a really really long time but can be effective do you want to shoot that left ramp over and over again you like the left ramp it's sort of the uh the beatles loop shot for you yeah you get three uh you get three smart bombs yeah and then you get yourself into something good and then you keep shooting your left ramp and when you're about to light the fourth one and turn into a super bomb you pop off your smart bomb and you get back to three you do it over and over again the little bombs are better than the big bomb yep nice you used to use the big bomb back when uh megalodon was yeah but not so much the eevee on the smart on the smart bomb is have you done the calculation did you ever figure out the mech suit super whatever weirdness i can't figure that out it does this weird call out sometimes and you can get like a 100 million jackpot i don't know how to do it what's the chances this guy steps up and starts playing like 94 percent he's looking around oh no man no what's the chance that jermaine steps up and starts jermaine's gonna have a look hey if like nobody else reports he's he had a good run he finished yeah top 16 maybe better than i and that's like usually in tournaments like if you're in the top 16 you're a little bummed but when you look at the field here this year that's crazy there's not enough room for everyone to get into the top 16 oh my goodness when when you lose at the wrong time and then you just see your decision tree and the loser's bracket and there were a couple rows this year that were you josh you were in i was in a fun one kaylee you guys were both you were in the row of death this year oh yeah who who who survived uh kaylee you you were the victor to play alexander that's right and how did it go did he pick black knight he picked uh no he didn't pick black knight huh um what did we play he beat me on deadpool and then you would have picked something my pick was deadpool he got the first to smoke a cigarette what was that i'm like no son i don't have anything this is in colorado colorado that was young uh Escher Lefkoff who will be facing alexander and interestingly alexander always would go first on black knight because it was his choice and he never failed to put up 150 or 200 on ball one and so to try to break up the rhythm escher's going to actually choose to go first out for colin urban colin urban i for whatever reason was convinced by some old guy to do that tim uh and colin put up uh about a million really and but here's the thing i think it works both ways like if you put up a big score it puts pressure but if you don't they they they lay down and they lay down man yeah so it's win-win no matter what happens the sean grant uh whatever pinball minutiae of your inner soul yeah exactly um escher it's more of a practical thing for escher it's well at least he won't have to play ball three if i don't catch him and truly you're not changing your strategy uh you got to get your your big payoff on the catapult super uh keith ellen did a 300 million catapult super on me in our in our match in game you have to defer locking until you've built up other stuff on the lower place so what he did was you want to hit your green targets to light your to make sure you got your 4x and then you never collect it and so you're playing catapult until it's done then you add a ball and then you you get more and more jackpots then you start your regular multiball get to extend get it get them up get a ball saver there get more jackpots use that at a ball get a ball saver use more more more jackpots now it's time for the kill shot skillfully straightforward send them all up top send them all up yep as as levy would say boom boom boom boom four times 4x boom we heard some booms in the uh the epc coverage uh here fred's uh making an adjustment to make it harder want to use this multiball lock one it's for simple knights to just extend this this is where the value's at right yeah you don't want to bring it in too early no let's uh interesting use of his magna save early and during the multiball only to have the ball drained out i'm going to go on a out on a limb and say that wasn't good value for that one is at a ball now it's lit there he goes so now he wants to boost his catapult to 4x just get that out of the way right yeah yeah where do you boost that at you got a on the green target he's going to hit the target to the to the right of the yeah yeah to the top of that's right there so he's got one blinking light which means he's a 2x if he gets two it'll be three and three it'll be four x is that his second lock lit now on the uh lower play field yeah all right so he's out of his uh catapult now did not cash in any juicy jackpots but what uh why didn't that lock ready yes uh he has to he got the second lock he's gonna he's gotta hit the target oh he wants to bring another boat yeah yeah flail isn't super dangerous on this one now he's ready to go back upstairs and try and get back to catapult yeah this time you got to hit the green but what the problem is you need to get into ball search because the ball search the the shield going up in ball search actually kicks it out you can also rattle it out with the left flipper so if they just move the ball from the left flipper to the right tell me more about this interlock you said yeah i you know it was a long night we were up late he'll get all those balls back we'll get all there'll be a mode and black knight four that will be this where the ball gets stuck and then and then you have to yeah is there a display effect of a td coming out of the display there's going to be no inlanes or outlanes the ball will play until you're done and then you just leave it there'll be a left orbit that feeds the upper play field and then the center shot that feeds the other play field and nothing else scores so uh esther looks it looks like he wants to try a loop here how much is it how much is the ramp shot is it like 50 points to get back that was a good dig it counted as the next one too look at that that was quote unquote like five in a row yeah it was worth 20. oh so close i just added 10 to a score in about 20 seconds so i'm not i like to i like him going first here a transistor by holding a ball of the other flipper you your benefit is only double scoring do it so you just have to do it twice as long as what you're saying so this is this is this is the modern shadow and more efficient the loop's much quicker i bet that value holds ball to ball nice nice so all those misses on the catapult are are great value on their own yeah i'm pretty sure if escher wins this tournament he's definitely gonna want to pick a black knight because i think he'll want to play this a lot more at home he can only win the pro right so he'll be he'll be able to make dinner every day but what's the resale on this game i don't know lots you kidding after this i think you'd be better picking a different game that was trading it for cash plus a black knight to somebody else he did a really nice uh to get into that elwynn he did uh he he laid he alleyed over and then post caught behind the second ball and got to the elwynn pose that was a really nice subtle that's awesome oh and now he's doing a little colin urbaning oh is he playing the mode what about the super mode is that yeah he's just keeps backhanding as i said this is the collin mode this is this is what he was trying to do during catapult before he knew about the loop meta okay a little he's showing so what he can do is show every meta and then we can evaluate its ev uh oh oh oh he he added a ball that a it's he's got four you just have to do math it's every it's the it's the total of every catapult jackpot which is i believe every shot so is there any value to having one big catapult which is intimidating and crushing versus many smaller 4x catapults which are the same value i don't believe so uh there might be some value every time you hit it it raises it everybody maybe the base raises after the super would be the only value proposition of holding on can you get an 8x catapult by looping and then stuffing it in the lock uh no you cannot although that would be an excellent way maybe multipliers tim's in chat he's writing it all down right now that would actually be pretty cool like the multiplier rule for the catapult is based on you can either just hit it for a single or you can loop it hit it for the double and then you could double loop it for the quad like you know the the loop and the catapult itself is too crusty to actually have that rule be meaningful like making that combo shot actual execution yeah it's two there's one two lucky 46. yeah but you know you can do is loop it at the same time a ball is coming up from the plunger um true you'll note that he has uh night's challenges ready too after this oh loops challenge so uh knight's challenge will be ready after this oh that's fun that's where escher got 700 of his i feel like uh 600 i feel like alexander is a lot more efficient with his catapult scoring than escher but escher was uh getting more loot power he's trying to trap up here because he's got a he's got a stuck one he's gonna he's he's trying have five more blocks and then and then and then potentially uh for game three if he won that then uh one could pick second they look great first we could have random roll for game five and then it destination it's the journey okay that's what it's seeing the black knight 2000 screen coming it was worth it realizing that there is a second wizard mode after the first time you've ever done knights the value you got on that was the same as that's really special so lighting the lighting rule of the universe is all that you need to do you don't need to collect it no that and that's hard like how do you even do that that's so uh after you uh kill the universe is the president waving with hit her right hand or her left hand good question and it's weird because it it could be either it could be the front of are they waving away from you so i've always done it with my right hand when i wave back to her yeah well if you get a stuck ball enough and uh you don't get your victory laps he's he's the whole time he never needs to come back up top i think uh actually a really good uh strat here is to get the ball stuck so that they power cycle the game and it helps cool the uh right flipper so we want to see what his loop value is right it's supposed to be 1.5 million we won't because you'll just keep hitting the right he'll be canceling out every possible frame well now we might get one don't know i think thematically it's a little sad that like you want to rescue people in these modes rather than just like destroying them you uh if you finish one then that lights your control room which is your but at the same time really this game's about chaos multiball i think and also your raptor if you can uh do your uh smart messenger smart messages there's a lot to do here we're also wizard mode and is it safe to say that the meta for tourney has yet to be established absolutely everybody knows what's going on yeah but we know the t-rex modes are valuable the first t-rex mode is not the multiball on this uh it's like the uncle fester's tunnel hunt right you got to shoot three of the correct colored ones to end it or something but you can combo other ones to yeah build them to keep it going chaos has pretty good guaranteed value whereas raptor you need some good execution to get into the big money next level but then once you're there then you're pushing chaos out of the way and some of the mission uh control modes can be quite beefy you don't say from personal experience i'm saying from personal experience i played this guy on it uh yesterday and i needed about 150 million and i played the the right hand system reboot the right one the system reboot and uh made some shots in combo and got there so that was that was fun uh so hey quick before he does it is he going to go for the super skill again of course yeah and i like it because you need to change horses midstream what does it get you what is the c progress towards chaos it gets you the seats you don't even care about the skill shot you could shoot it later but you can shoot it now it just spells chaos completely that would be that way but it has to be but every other switch is a tilt that would be amazing that would be like the best rule ever no just how about it has to it has to have hit the inlane switch within two tenths of a second i want to see some weird ass rules like that in the game to be awesome the ultimate risk reward yeah i want to see something where like ball's life is at stake but the scoring potential for execution is insane here we go i think uh alexander might have felt was way stronger than i thought it would be and when i played my black knight my first like night multiball i could hit the ramp and it would go up every time which did not do that towards the end of the game it was definitely getting getting soggy for both of you guys so uh and of course we watched the finals uh on was on jurassic park correct i wish last night you guys played a game on jurassic park on the winner's side uh which would have it i mean the same outcome but that was an amazing game you you went off what did you do to get to your 800 million point lead i started chaos with the first t-rex mode which is trx chase and then during i had like a 400 million trx chase and then what did you do to catch up i got chaos i think it was t-rex encounter and i had like a fighter yeah yeah it was t-rex chase as well right it was crazy like you were hitting every shot in combo uh so i'm sorry that neither one of you really got a chance to play it today that's part of like you were saying being a little bit cold yeah um now tell me about this is a circuit event and both you guys are in the top in the circuit i think i was sitting at 19 last in my check okay so you're gonna this
