Oh for half a second. And then let's transfer it into another double L-Way into a double catapult super. What are we witnessing here? Let's flip all of this. Oh, great, got it. Clark. Was it Clark? Clark got it first. Oh, what? What? What just happened? They just got the ship, so I think we've got maybe one or two spots that can ship this week. Okay. And then everything else will be on the next round. Jack, are you allowed to tell us how many you shipped in your first batch? How many you put in production? We built 150 standard games. Oversold, though. Oversold. We'll be building more shortly. Nice. And we've been into LA games. We built a lot of, probably built another 100, 150. We went to, you know, foreign containers because we had some jams waiting around, standard jams, waiting for LEs to be stuffed in containers. So we did that. So now we're shipping American LEs. Are we still looking at August for the collectors? Yes. I had a text message today asking. Yeah, I like that. I tell you what, I was talking to a couple of people that bought Standard Games. They also bought CE Games. They didn't want to wait for CE, and they bought Standard. And they said, you know what, when my CE is ready, I'm just going to sell Standard. I'll probably sell it for a couple hundred dollars under, and that's it. So he's got Violet collected or ready to collect at the Newton Ball target. And then he can then start his kid multiball. Awesome walker bars. That's coming back. I love this mode. Oh, big time. Okay, Neil, thank you for the update. So I would assume that's just play it as it lies in the case where... So what Neil's saying is that the out-lane ball save, which has a grace period on it of about five seconds or so, he drained after it kicked back out, and it went down the middle, so it thought that the left out-lane actually missed the ball. And a lot of the modern games will compensate by putting a ball back in the play field for you if it thinks that it bypassed the plunge in the lane. Yeah, makes sense. Usually that's only triggered if it does roll over the switch first and then you find that it hits the trough. But, you know, something to maybe look at on another day. Neil and Andrew, thanks for the forensic work. Yes, yeah. Yeah, so, Jack, I'm sure we'll get someone to look at that to make sure that a switch must be triggered. They're looking at it as we're speaking. Some of the guys have broken open the code. Top men on this. Top men. Top men and women. Top men and women. Top people. There's David's face floating on the gumball machine. Oh! Two dangers. So he will have none left for the rest of the game. And that's... He's got to remember that. So mode ready, collect bonus, shoot TV. I love your screen. It looks busy at first glance, but it tells you a lot about where you are in the game at this juncture. So I'm guessing the computer is like the next mystery reward to get medium points if he collected that. Really cool. I like that every switch in Gizmo has something to do with your status. I'm telling the computer right now what it could do with all the Wonka balls. With all the Wonka balls. Oh. Let's see. Collect Augustus. So he's got a kid ready to collect. As you can see, the mutant ball in the middle just needs to bash it. Yep. That was a good arrow. Left-handed. Yeah. From afar. So lock two's lit. That's definitely where you're probably aiming for first. Does it tip? I'm curious to see if it rolls over pretty well, but if they're comboing, it seems like they're happy with that. Nice trap up. Oh. All right. Mode ready, welcome to the factory Oh wow Nice, lock two So he doesn't have to bash at all It just goes right in on the third one, right? There's no qualifying this last lock No he does, he has to qualify Hit two shots, he has to hit it twice and he opened up right now Okay There he goes Starts his dog stopper multiball Center at 5,000 Are the values based on the kids you've collected i see there's kids at the screen does that help at all or does the value of me five shots okay get the ramp keep it up but if you've collected that kid does it add any base value good question you know what i have the rule sheet up here that someone wrote until see where is it here Doesn't say anything about it. There is a restart, apparently, too. Barely any jackpot scored. So he will not be eligible for that restart. This is not Raven. Coming up on 800,000. Feeling pretty comfortable right now. Dots and rainbows flashing everywhere. Still cradling. 49,000 for... If he shoots the gobstoppler. That's a tough word. Gobstopper. He already played the multiplier running. He had a super X. I don't know what the value was, but that's why it points this way. Crazy right there. Great play. A little clap in the background for him. And a song for him, too. I like it. I like it. Did you just have that song playing all day in the factory? It's playing in my head right now. So I'll take that as a yes. That's not going out of my mind. I've got to be a little careful here, because he doesn't have the outlane save. He does have that kid multiball lit on the... But he also has another kid, well, unfortunately. He's another kid lit on the captain ball. And the more kids you have, the bigger the multiball is worth. You know, the values of the... Yep. So it's... Man, on ball theory, that's going to be tough to go by. It's almost like start that multiball no matter what. Targets completed. Blue, white shots, white jackpot. Looks so serious. So yeah, he had a ball save. I don't know, like, I am not sure when the ball saves come out. That must have been that same award? Well, you see it right here. Okay. Yep. And his must have been that. Okay. I like that the game congratulates you for those shots. This is a good shot. Excellent shot. Right. That's a very nice game. All right. What's he got lit? We've got Jack signing the gogi bars, right? The Wonka bars. Can I hold one of those up to the camera so that they can see it? Can I hold it? These were amazing, by the way. So Shane had these made. Very cool. Yeah. Thank you. I guess I'm supposed to do the back as well. There's the backside. Nice. Very nice. A lot of time and effort and money went into all this. Always. A lot of detail. A lot of detail. Man of much detail. So David's going to step up. His first ball did not... Hey, Greg, what's going on? Did not go so well. Hey, Greg. I think you can still buy the shirts, right? I think if he has any left. I know he hasn't been printing as many lately. Limited print. He has some of them. These? Yeah, these. Yeah, what size are you? Oh, gosh. Where are your travels taking you next, Jack? Well, I go home tomorrow. All right. Any more shows coming up? I'm trying to think what shows are coming up. Yeah, there's a couple of people planning lunch parties in the next couple of weeks. I won't be back next week to California Extreme, but we'll be represented there. Okay, you'll have some people. I know there's a few of us going. I will be there. It's a fun show. I've never been. That's okay. He's saving it for later. He's at 1.1. Yeah, he's fine. He's looking happy. He's moving on. He does not look upset. Steve's starting to sweat. He's making the sign of the cross. He's saying players right now. Smiling a little bit. I don't know. Calling in a few of those favors. 40 40 thousands this first target Oh take that shot oh my oh well yeah no bounce back no bounce back he can't believe it no you have to relight it eliminated right here that's unfortunate I know there's a suggestion box over there Justin he looks right at you he's like wait this is you're doing it's a great guy yeah I was playing games from the pinball sales calm I what 18 years ago oh wow medium points 70,000 okay he wants to put a buffer between him and David. So I figured I would be collecting that kid. Oh, he had no till warnings left. I can see that was a really hard joke. I love the sound, the womp womp. Oh, wow. Okay, so David has a kid lit. That's what you're going for, right? Right, he has to get the kid and start a kid multiball. Don't go for the gobstopper. Don't, you know, you just got to go for this. 15-second ball saver is his computer award, so that might be nice if you're worried about it. Well, the skill shot will give, if he does the left one into the ramp, it gives him the computer award. Plus one computer award. I think that's it. Uh-oh. That's all we struggle. Well, the computer's got a 15-second ball saver, right? Yeah, that's what, like, I'm hitting that, and then I'm going for the, it's like he was listening to us. Yeah, he just did it. because now you can hit that ball. Brian, he's also got 4X playbooks going right now, too. Oh, seriously? Yes, seriously. Oh, what a rip. 560s all over the place. Okay, now you're just ramping. Okay, he's through. Five relief. Great play. Yeah, so it's pretty much over. You don't recede after every game. Or your finishing spot in that game doesn't matter for the next one. So David and Scott moving on. Steve and Clark have been eliminated. And it was player two had the lower score. So player three had the larger one. by Clarkson it's one of the most memorable chance that I heard that raining thing is a hurricane a blowing I remember that from my childhood scared the heck out of you it was haunting it really was Andrew I think you'll have to watch the Buffalo pinball stream Monday night. They're going to debut the new code and dial it in. I'm excited about that. I love dialing in. That's what got me into Jersey Jack games. That game... More codes and games. But it's already really robust. It's a solid game. There's so much to do already. I don't even know what else you can put into that game. I love it. Like I said, that was what first got me into Jersey Jackets, saying, this is a contender. They make solid games. Thank you, on behalf of the team. And I hope we pass the audition. I'm difficult to please, let me tell you. My opinion on games is usually well known. A lot of us pinball people are difficult to please. We're very exacting in what we like, and we're very opinionated in what we don't like. Well, you've got to stick to certain standards, right? There's standard pinball things that must happen for us to enjoy it. Don't go too far outside of that. But you have to have a couple of things that are new and innovative. Otherwise, like you said, you don't want to make the same game. Right. And, you know, you're feeling satisfied when you accomplish things and smile a lot and challenged and achieve better as you play better. So what was, from a, I don't know, from a manufacturing physics standpoint, what was the toughest thing to make in this game? That's a Pat Lawler question. Okay. And you know for Pat I don't want to answer for him and the team But Whatever it was I think they overcame it Because the game is just It's a great game We take for granted how difficult And how much math and physics Geometry is really important Because you can play games That are in this room that are just Yep You're hitting things you're not getting any score at all. The ball's coming right back at you. And the shots just don't feel good. That clunkiness is what I love. There's still some metal on this game, but it doesn't have that denning effect. I'm thinking a few games I'm not going to throw any other manufacturers under, but there's a few of them you hit something and it just dies. And it just doesn't feel good. Thank you. There's a lot of iterations, Both on a screen When you draw these things And also when you actually build them and shoot them And play them You really have to feel satisfied When you're shooting shots And the whole team has to feel That they accomplished What they set out to do Or the game's not cooked It's like a meal It's not done yet and you're serving the meal And that's not a good thing Right Right. This definitely has a... I think playing it today, it surpassed my expectations of this game. I wasn't sure. You know, team-wise I'm not dead set on Willy Wonka, but... And then some of the layout, I just wasn't sure how it would all work together. But I'm convinced now. Well, that's cool. I heard a lot of that today. There were a lot of people here today that really didn't get to play the game at all. Yep. And it just... Wow, that was some pretty good football work there. Oh! One's coming back though, so he's still in multiball. Rips that spinner shot. Wow! Nice. Oh! That was... worth some points. I feel that spinner shot's gonna... again! Just crushes it. Super flip. Super flip? Nice. Oh, 100,000 for shoot upper left flipper target. All right. That's a great ball one. I think the lowest we've seen eliminated has been 70,000. I think so. So he had a good bonus. He's well above that. So I always think people should be playing the game before judging them. A lot of people do watch these streams, and they make instant judgments on what they see. And you really, it's such a, it's an experience to play these games. You have to feel the ball, you have to feel the bounce, you know, just everything. It's a tactile game. Look, you know, it's just like if you watch somebody play golf or you're golfing. It's just a different feeling. Right. It's cool to watch it. It's a lot better to play it and experience it. I don't want to watch other people eat. I'd rather eat myself. I don't want to be watching them play either. I'd rather be playing this myself. Things happen. Yeah. Save something for later or was it something else? Wizard of Oz was going to be. And I think we pretty much all agreed that scores, it was like rewarding people for ninth place, like the meet the fucker kind of thing where the kid gets the trophy for ninth place because you don't want him to throw bad. You're getting billions of points just for shooting the ball because you want to make people feel good. So the thought was Wizard of Oz was a movie from 1939. let's take all the scores backwards and let's keep it that way in the company. And I joked around and I said, well, if you want to feel better, just get an index card and write three zeros and put a point. Yeah, I remember that. I love that. That's a great little back story to that. And plus it was another thing that set us apart from other people. You know, when I play Buckaroo, I have one of those. When you play those old games and you get to light up that light that's 1,000 points, you know, it kicks you behind just to get that light to light up with a one so that you got 1,000 points. So if you got a million on something, I want you to really feel that you accomplished something. I think it puts the scoring proportion into perspective. Like you said, if you score a 30,000-point shot on here, you know that it's a big shot. On some games, you can't tell the difference between 1 million and 5 million. You don't know if that's good. I was playing with one of the guys before, a split flipper, and I was a left flipper, and the first ball we had, we got 160 points. 160, not 160, 160. So, you know, the game kicked off behind. And, you know, I don't think we were coordinated in sync with each other, actually. I had a friend today put up 28 points on Oktoberfest on Ball 1. So you started a trend with a low scoring. I like it. Ah! That was a magnet. Magnet got him. Yeah. And that's a tough decision. You know, warnings don't reset. You know, you take it there. That's tough. 310 points someone had. so they were well still crushed you yeah player four yeah eight uh player three with uh 19 000 going up uh this is mark hollick and he's got a kid ready that sound effect is awesome whatever that sound effect was in the back Now, Jack, did you want Bratz, or did the design team want Bratz? Or did you have any say in that? I know that the licensor didn't want you to keep that. How do you guys hear those kind of things? I saw the prototype when it was here. Right. And the insert had Bratz multiple. Right. And then it changed, right? Yeah, I know it's good. Even on all the software. We've never seen the software say it. Right. But we saw it printed on the PlayFuels. Yeah, I just think, you know, it's a kind of gentler time now than 1970. I agree completely. So we don't want to go calling kids brats, even though they might be a brat. You know, brat, if you're in the Midwest, a brat is something you have with beer. Get me some brats and beer. Well, there was a popular... Short for bratwurst, right? There was a popular toy back like five years ago, the brats. They were like some... Yeah, but that was, what, like, hip, I don't know. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, I mean, you don't want anything conflicting with any of that. What'd you replace it with? Kid. Kid, okay. Kid multiball. Yeah, I'm not as informed as some of these guys, but nothing gets past the pinball... Oh, no, nothing, nothing. In fact, there were so many things that people say I said that I didn't say. I sound like... Yogi Bear. I get credited for many things that I didn't say And I You know It's okay It goes with the territory Yep So David with 185,000 Looking pretty okay Now He had two house balls but Alright Andy Well we've got actually Scott In first place with 43,000 Buffalo Buffalo subscribed again Thanks guys Very cool Those guys are great I love them They're fantastic They've been to the factory a bunch of times Look, Scott's actually in second. David has 197,000. Correct. That's why I'm saying Scott's in a troublesome spot right now. Yes, okay. So if one player passes him, he is eliminated. Call in your logic. Man. Don't you love that meme? That Gene Wilder meme? What an iconic shot, butters. So 40. All right. So this. He passes the 43, which is what he needed. Three quick backhanded shots right back to the gobsmopper. So that eliminates Scott. Yep. Scott is now out. Nice nudge to knock it in. Oh! A little bit of a flop. I saw that coming. What a cast. Okay. So, 88.9 is the target for player four. This is Daniel. Daniel. Got to look at both screens. Not doing a good job. I'm used to your software having the player's names. I know, and I couldn't do it because of the format. Yeah. There's a lot going on. Yep. I do like that you have this spinning lollipop in the back. I wanted to make everyone dizzy. Good thing you're covering it up enough. All right, so kid is lit on the left. That's where this shot should go. I don't... He might not know about it. Oh, that's it. That was not so good. Okay, so Daniel takes four. Yep. And I did announce that on Monday, Buffalo Pinball will be debuting the new version code for Dialed In. So everybody check that out. Are you allowed to give us any hints as to what's in it? Are you able to drop anything here on IA Pinball? Or did you already tell Buffalo that they get all the goods? We gave you a chocolate bar. I didn get a chocolate bar Oh you just signed them I don get to to eat any You gotta bribe me with a couple of chocolate bars Ply and price them Shane, get this guy some goodies. Played Walker for the first time yesterday. Game shoots so smooth, put up 2.3 mil. I love it. You gotta like the feedback. Love to hear it. So we're back on the standings. So the way that the standings are working is everyone in red is who got eliminated in that round. The green are the people that moved forward. and the white down here are the people that are moving in in that round. This is the last round where two people will be eliminated after this round. We'll be at eight players and it'll be single elimination. And just think, we started doing this, what, at six o'clock this morning, right? Yeah, all day. Been here working all day. I might have been digging into the candy bars myself at 6 a.m. So if you want to consider that work... little sugar brush. Yeah, so it's always by seed here, so David being the highest of the remaining, or lowest, whatever, he has to go first. He's been doing pretty well. Oh, boy. Yeah, he's a solid player from San Diego. Always plays well. Those guys from San Diego came up and they kicked some butt. They always do. We brought up a cavalcade of players, and we always are representing. So much so that Shane, when we're hosting these things, he's telling us, you know, you know whose home you're in. I heard him say that to me when I was playing Aztec. Did he? Because I was playing Aztec. You know, this is our home. We have to defend it, right? I didn't know we were out for blood on this game. That's why I got a few kicks while I was playing. People walking by, quote-unquote. Oh, is that what happened? Yeah. Hey, we have our kid. First kid. Coming back. Oh, all right. Only one. What a... He just... He wants points again. Yeah, but this is ball one. I would rather bring more kids into this. Especially with Ball 1. Yeah, Ball 1, I'd definitely be taking out some more of the Gobstopper. That should come back. Yeah. But he can stack it, so maybe that's what he's thinking. He's like, I'm going to stack Gobstopper with this. Make these locks, then it's a safer mana. Yeah. 22,000 for that jackpot. What relates the kickback? I know I dialed in. It's the ball targets to the left. Is there something similar in this game? Say that one more time. What relates the kickback? The gum. Gum targets. Okay. So it's still a three-target thing? The death targets. Because, yeah, there's no way to hit those from any flipper, but that one, not directly at least. That's why when someone got a triple kickback, they got three in a row, and that's the mode where those are the targets that you need to click violet. Okay. And the triple kickback collected violet from hitting the gum target. So that's one strategy. That's a tough one. That player had 80 points. So, you've been outdone, Jack. Yeah. By half. Someone said, challenge accepted. Terrible. You lose. Good day, sir. Ron, another player from San Diego. All you San Diego people, it's Comic-Con to come here. Yeah. Comic-Con is crazy. I think it's something that I would do once in earnest, and then after that, I'm cool. But, you know, for anyone that's down there, go see the pinball room. You know, there's some tournaments and swag out there, too. So lots of good events happening. Pinball is everywhere. Absolutely. It has grown so much. It's incredible. I think you really have a lot to do with it, too. I really do credit your company and Wizard of Oz as being the moment that things turned around. Well, we appreciate that. We're very humbled by that and happy to play a little part in that. I think what it also did is it forced other manufacturers to step up their game. And whether they step up and do it and execute, that's another thing. But there needs to be some competition. There needs to be some innovation. And you guys are bringing that. And you're challenging everyone to do something similar. Well, competition is a good thing. It raises everybody's awareness of what the customer wants and what they can achieve if they try harder. Yeah. Go ahead. No, I was just thinking, you know, again, I said earlier to the group when everything got started, you know, today is the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. and when I was a little kid President Kennedy challenged everybody and he said we don't do this because it's easy we do this because it's hard and in kind of a funny way we didn't do it because it was easy either we knew it was going to be hard but we did it because we thought that we could bring something that would be fun, innovative and help build pinball around the world and pinball players and player base and we're really happy that it's gone that way. Where is the furthest distance you've shipped a game? What country? Well, I mean, Australia is really a big marketplace. Yeah, they're big. They've got some big podcasts. I know that they've got a lot of dedicated players. I don't think I have anything of the North Pole yet. No countries that are just kind of like, wow, all right, Saudi Arabia, You have a game. Yeah, I'm sure we have games. We do have games in the Middle East. We have games in Asia. We have games in, I know there's games in Russia. Games in Poland, all different places around the world. Is this game localized for any of them, or is it just English only at this point? English only. Okay. The days of doing that, I think you could go almost everywhere and everybody speaks English. Yep. Somebody. Well, this is kind of an iconic movie, though. Even if you can't understand the language, you can understand what's going on. Right. With all the stuff that you put in the background and on the TVs and stuff. Dialed In may be a little difficult of a concept for some people who don't get it, but one of the parts that I loved about Dialed In is so many throwbacks to other games, like paying homage to some original stuff. And those Bob targets coming back, Bob being in a lot of the older games. I believe QED even has some sort of throwback. the girl in the back that's lifting her arm up. She's from, God, why can't I think of names today? The other wide body, Rocho. Well, Pat, Ted, a number of members of the team, very sentimental. Yep. They like to go back in a kitschy way to a lot of great things that worked in pinball and they still work today. Bring it into new generations, people. Well, it's, you know, and it's stuff that's, you know, for non-pinball enthusiasts, you wouldn't even realize. Like, having two modes called, you know, Earthshaker and Whirlwind and stuff like that, you know, after some of the older games. Right, right. Like. Well, the cool thing is the new people coming into pinball really get a chance. Oh, yeah. What happened to him? Just a, just a tub breaker. A lot of center drains on this one. Yeah. Some bounces off the side of the gobsopper lock that kind of come straight down. Again, it talks about the geometry and the dimensions of the game. You get punished for missing, right? Not a bad thing. No, I have not seen a made shot that got punished, you know. All right. That was a rough dream. Absolutely. He made a great save, and he wasn't rewarded. No. So, player four with $28,000. This is Kent. No one really destroying this game. David's got a solid. He should be pretty happy with his 200,000. But no one, you know, none of the 400, 600,000 that we've been seeing. 238, still a lot more than 17. I might have missed a few shots. I'm not going to lie. But I feel like, you know, you're not punished too bad. There's other games that I can think of that are way more punishing for shots that you make. 238. And he's got to be pretty comfortable. I really, honestly, I like the progression of how this is going. Nobody's sitting on the game for three or four or five minutes. No. They set it up great. It's a testament to the game itself. It's a testament to the TDs, Shane, Carl, and all these folks that made sure the tilt was liberal enough to let people play, but tight enough that you're not throwing the machine around. Or putting up those two million point games and whatnot. Yeah, the most common drains, left out lane and right down the middle. It seems like the right side is relatively safe. I removed the rubber ring from the right side, so I don't know how safe it is. Okay. You can go over there as much. Yep. I like this. That rollover, that's a smart move. I think anyone that's watching and who's playing later should take note of that. Gets his multiball. This is just extra for him. Adam Multiball won. He's trying to bring his playbook multiplier, which he just did. He did it right now. The second award will be that, I believe. 2X scoring. So he's got one in the captive ball I can see by the right side is that that with that little Captive ball it's got one ball in it. So is he That's for the random mode maybe for the couple ball. Okay So it's not ready yet Quickly up to 400,000 David's having some good Yeah, he's playing excellent. The thing about pinball in tournaments is playing becomes a little bit easier after you've got a few shots under your belt. You become a lot looser. Have a couple of drinks. Yeah, exactly. Double spins too I like the call out on that mode Oh and unfortunately That was Yeah Yeah I think you crushed it the first time He could have really done some damage If he had that going He was right there At 524 though he's He's done enough damage He might have done enough damage. Big climb. Big climb here out of 18,000. Mark needs a lot. And he doesn't have a lot ready. I mean, he's got the kid. That'll give him his whole bonus axe, which doesn't help on ball three. He's trying to raise the... Oh! And that will be his tournament life. Yep. But still a good showing for Mark, who will finish in 10th position. All right. So I think that's actually all of the... No, okay. Player 4 has 36. so he's just creating a buffer. David is through. Yeah, David is through. If you're... David is not through yet. Both player three and four could pass David. True story. I apologize. Now David's through. Yeah. a little bit of foreshadowing there. What happened there? Just kind of up and over into the out lane. Unfortunate. So player four, who is Kent, needs 55,000. So he needs 19,000 points to... I did math on stream. I've been told you should never do that. Oh! Oh, wow! Alright, so that was... So that's Kent in third place. And then, let's see. David moves on. Yeah, and he's the lowest position, yeah. And Ron moves on. And we pull in our next two victims. We're in the single elimination. So we're at eight players now, right? Yep. Yep. Okay. Let me tell people. so uh just to kind of recap where everyone was uh marcus and jock i don't want to go through all that you guys can see where they're in red is the position that they finished so i'll let you guys read all of that uh but we came up with this handy dandy tool because we were doing some sort of like hybrid ladder and uh as good as carl is at programming he couldn't come up with something in the four hours we gave him yesterday. This is really easy to understand and see in a glance where everybody is. I drafted this up last night at work. Don't tell my coworkers. I was supposed to be doing something. I'll tell you, necessity is really the mother of all inventions. So when you have your back to the wall, you do your best work. Yep. Sometimes. Yep. Well, it works great. Yeah, Carl made the statement. He's like, this is going to be tough to explain. And then we came up with this. Thank you so much. I love the logo there. I love that. Thanks. Comes right out at you. I love the pace of the finals here. We are moving right along. This is actually pretty good. Yeah. Everything's moving right along. We were worried about this going until midnight. And us San Diegans, I have to drive back. Hopefully with some trophies and swag. There you go. Well, Brian qualified top seed. He's automatically in top four. Guaranteed top four. Yep. He only gets to play one game, though. Yep. That's the interesting part of this. Well, like we said before, as you sit around getting rusty. Right. Well, you know, David has a great chance here of playing all these balls. He feels comfortable in the game. Oh, yeah. You can just tell. He's doing great. He even looked at us. He's like, yeah, I am. That sideways glance was right at us. There, you can see it. I got caught in the picture. Look at that confident face. It's like, yeah, I know. I know. You guys don't have to tell me. You don't win yet. So anyone just joining us, we are at the Willy Wonka launch party at Ace Goge in Van Nuys, California. I'm Carl D'Python Anghelo, and with me is Derek Price and the Jersey Jack, Jack Rineri. Hello, hello. It's an honor to be among California, especially pinball royalty. Royalty. Very cool. Both people have won California state champions. Very cool. Sure, sure. Yeah. I love SoCal has or California in general has some of the best players like California's got the best of everything it really does I don't want to sound biased I'm a native New Yorker and if I could have been somewhere else in the United States California would have been a good place in the beginning if I tell you I'm from Boston would that change your opinion of me not at all no but you made it to California I did make it here good for you It was two weeks on the road, many, many hours, two cats in a car. It was exciting. Nice. See, this is like first-time players over-plunging. You can see, like, you know, missing the skill shots. Simple things like that. And that is dangerous, missing that. Right. And there's no rush. You can plunge as many times as you want. Take your time. We're not rushing anybody. There's no side feed that puts it out in the play field if you miss it, like some games would have. Right. I won't mention any other Star Wars. We're just auto-plunges after that. Alright. That's a quick ball one from most everyone here. Well, I mean, I'm speaking to you, Steven, playing this game right now. I don't want to jinx him. The commentator curse. I like that grazing of that That lock The gop stopper? Yeah I think that's going to be a strategy I'm liking to get ten Wonka bars first I know that's my first thing I like to Just talking strategy on this game Because it gives the bonus hole It's like an old Bally Yep Once you get to ten You always have that every end of the ball And that's 500 per bar, correct? Right. Okay. So, Carl, when you play, you have the same straight strategy all the time when you play? Not always, no. I mean... You mix them up. I mix them up. I do. I would think you have to because... It depends a lot on the situation and the players. Right. And how you feel. Yeah. And if I'm not making a shot, I've got to change. Got to change. Can't keep trying to get something that you can't get. Exactly. That's when I lose. I've learned that. Not to be stubborn. And, you know, a lot of people don't learn that. They want to just say, I can make it, I can make it. And if you can't make it, just go to the next one. I feel like this is a life lesson as well. It's getting highly philosophical here. All right, we're quickly on ball two, and we're quickly on player two ball two. So points are all of a sudden difficult to come by. Go San Diego. My uncle lives there. Nice. My uncle Allen lives on Coronado Island. Gorgeous place Yeah I get to visit him Once in a while He's so on Facebook That I was here And he was saying Sent me a text And said Come on Come on Dan Tonight Tomorrow I gotta go home uncle I'm sorry I'll get you next time So just I just want to highlight Like the We talked about dimensions The missed skill shot Went up and over Came Grazed And right down Or Left Left Exactly Yeah Uh oh same thing here you'd rather be short than long in this game yes after on the plunge huh that was a glamour shot right there So is your plan to basically have a camera on every game in the future? Yes. Okay. It's a really great feature. Yep. One of the things I also love about your games, even though it's mighty complex, is your tech screen. When you open it up and you're setting everything, it really looks like a giant computer screen with so many things to do in there. Every little thing can be nuanced and changed. But it's easy to navigate. Yes. Oh, yeah. Not scroll left 256 times to figure out. Yeah, but even... It's easy to make a bad design there, even with having a ton of options. It's laid out very intuitively. You really don't need to know the system in order to... Yeah, I mean, it's a lot of experience from pinball people, programming. I was going to say, since I said it was akin to a computer screen, And, you know, it could be like any Windows application or something. So people already kind of have some feeling for it. It's intuitive. You know, Keith really, Keith P. Johnson really established that with Wizard of Oz. And then Ted came in. And then, you know, we've been lucky to add other great programmers to the team. But, you know, you've got to have a base to work off of. And he was the guy that knew what he wanted to do. He was the man with the plan. So, you know, if you start on a bad foundation, it's really hard to fix it. So the primary credit of that goes to Keith. I can appreciate that because, you know, trying to put out your first game or, you know, first or second or whatever, it's easy to cut corners in things that are not visible to the outsider. So I'm glad that you guys didn't cut the corners there. There's a ball safe. That's the second one that we've seen from the kickout. So I'm thinking they're going to be checking out that programming because probably when it comes back out through the kick-out, it's triggering the switch and then going down the... Correct. Straight down the... The game went down the left-out way. Because of the time between. They didn't hit the switch between the kick-out, the kick-back. So I don't know what they would do, but I'm thinking that's not intentional. Wow. He did that for us. Maybe not. And he had one container coming up, too. $9,500 in bonus. In a game that's been this low scoring, that's not bad. I'm thinking your strategy of getting these chocolate bars is becoming more and more apparent, you know the 5000 base bonus Not bad. Plus I think you get a feel for where the shots are. So if you're coming in cold That would have been so cuz yeah, that's the second morning he's got a good feel for the game He's got a lot of time on the game and the till bottom now on the bottom of the cabinet, but whatever That happens Yeah it might just be the rod Right there now Probably not the first one that David's broken Not gonna lie knowing him 3500 I have a picture somewhere of a Plumbob that we actually cracked during a tournament It actually split in two and fell off the ball I've never seen it before I couldn't believe it Indus Not in this. I want to say it was at the Pimble the Lake. That picture where they were opening all the chocolate candy bars live from earlier this morning. That was actually me. They got it in the code quickly. It was great. My hands. That should come back. You do seem to have a nice, generous ball save, which I like, and a grace period as well. Only the grace period. The ball save is actually very short. That one should come back. But it's during multiball, so it probably won't. There's no way to really code that in the system. Oh, it came back. It did? Yeah. Wow, excellent job Yeah, that's pretty good I would think that only because there were two balls It would come back If there were three, it wouldn't know to kick it back Because there's still You don't know if anything's happened I don't know, yeah, it's tough Nice little save there 37,000 Puts himself up to 170 And your Palumbas are still working with that I mean, this looks safe here because excellent shot. Like I said, they're making you feel good. You're having a down day. Hit some ramps, you know. Good shot. Excellent shot. 50 walk-a-bars. It's going to be a big bonus here. Carriage souls. Minimum 50 70 thousand That surpassed Player 4 score in his bonus so He gotta be feeling good I mean again we down to one elimination per round now so Yes. You need three people to surpass that, and if all three do, you just nod your head, shake their hands, and say, you know, good day, sir. Like, you played well. But we haven't seen... Oh, that looks like it's... And that's it. Ron is now out. Everyone else will advance. If I'm player three and player four, I'm probably trying to get a plunge in. I want to play the game out so that I can learn it. Yep. They can play it out for... To get some feel of the game, you may play it out. I mean, if we were strapped for time, we wouldn't do that, but we're okay on time. It's a little funny, like, you're out of the hang of it. It's actually going pretty good. We're giving them an opportunity to play the game Well everybody likes to see what's going on Yeah So that's one and done for Ron Comes in and goes out He did, he made it through the last round I'm sorry I'm just not going to talk anymore That's it, I'm done Carl, we love your voice I like when you talk Carl, my nemesis, is a great conversationalist. So what we haven't seen yet is no one's gotten a golden ticket. And I have no idea how you get the golden tickets in this game. I don't expect Jack to give that away. That's one of the secrets we were talking about earlier. Carl actually doesn't want to know. He wants to find it out on his own, right? I am thinking that there's probably, just like on Pirates, there's probably a lot of stuff going on on the screen that gives you little hints and little things that are kind of cool that you wouldn't expect. Possibly. Possibly. Alright. Ron, finish off the play. Not yet. Not yet. No, Carl has one more round before Carl is going up there. Luca, he is coming back. He drove up with me today, so we will be bringing him back. If he had won today, we might not have given him that ride. The plague. The plague, yes. That is Johnny right there. He's got his own emoji. Motocon. I'm so jealous. Brian has his own thing, too. I love it. I love it. You guys are so creative. That's all Jay Collins on that. When he made the Moriga Plague card for me, he used that image. It was fantastic. Shout out to that guy. He's done a lot. Yes. My graphics, just the pinball in general. Great guy. Yeah, Jay's been a huge asset to us. Great guy. Very modest, too. Comes in, does his stuff. So that's a departure. Yeah, that's far less than what he has been getting. And unfortunately, he's at nine bars. That's a wake-up call. No, that's not great. You're not just going to have your way with me. You've got to work for it. You've got to try. This is a bit of a marathon, too. There's a lot of rounds. We're playing nine rounds total, everybody. Oh! Oh! Don't miss. Yeah. Posts are still bad, everyone. Posts are not worth points. No. We've seen that little half ramp come down and drain down the middle a lot. Yeah. That's a dangerous thing to do. All right. Spinner. Oh, nice rip. Oh, terrific pressure. Nice nudge Excellent nudge Amazing What a move And that's excellent He's getting bonus X advances As you heard there So how many monster bars He's only got three though So No opportunity there They're nothing to do He showed off his skill earlier, so we know he can do it. Johnny Monica steps up. His girlfriend is from Milano. Yes. Gemelli. She had an excellent game on AFM. She won. This was her first competition, I think. I believe so. Emanuela Gemelli, which means twins. I asked her if she was a twin, and she said no. Huh. Yeah, just very happy, very smiley. Good person. Had a great time. Kind of like Johnny. Yeah. He's serious right now, though. You can tell that he wants it. Fighting the lower lip as he's making the shots. Second at City Champ a couple of months ago. Weeks ago. Yeah. Yes, Johnny, I put him on my Fantasy Pembroke team. I did because he was a good value based on how he's been doing, although this is making me second guess my choice. I used to strike out and look at the baseball bat. That's kind of like what he just did there when the ball drained. It's upsetting. I mean, you want to do something. Oh, my. Second time that I've played over. Right over. David is only going to have one ball game. This is good. This is a good round. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, crud, I'm next. Everybody's getting punished equally. Well, that drain post is taking its revenge on two people so far. And there's no extra gap, no different. I mean, this is just a standard J.J.P. setting for the flippers, so. This is just geometry at work, then. Excellent shot. That seemed like a pretty good hit to that. Is the kid not qualified yet? No, no. Finish the kid. Okay. I mean, he has to collect the kid still. He smashed it pretty hard, I thought. You've got to hit it from the right-hand side, I noticed. If you go on the left, it's not really... Okay. And that's because it's facing that way. You want to be perpendicular to that as much as possible. I got you. I'm not exactly perpendicular. Great ball from Matt, though. Yep. See, Carl, this is why you're here. We love when you talk. You fill in when I make silly comments. I love it. I'm just sitting here. You are giving us the best insight into the games and stuff. It's been a pleasure to sit here and talk. My pleasure. Thank you. your games with you. Get up there. Let something happen. That orbit is so fast. He was a little late on trying to save that. It was already gone. All right. So, you know, this is player four, Johnny. I mean, you'd like to come out of this ball, obviously, at like 70,000. I'd be happy, you know, 50, 60, and some setup. Get your multi-balls ready. Johnny wouldn't be happy. He wants 200,000. Oh, man. That same? He'd be happy with that. Yeah, that drain out of that orbiter in the gum and down the... Yep. We've seen it time and time again. That Lawler is mean. All right, so David on his... Well, not in the last few games with David. He's kind of nowhere right now. He got a kid, so he's going to go for kid multiple. Oh, no, no. Oh, okay. He's not out yet. Johnny only has 11,000. So the next two players are through. So they're going to just get some time on the game. The suspense is terrible. David's got to sit there and watch these other players just kind of play out and plunge. But he only cares about what Johnny's going to do. Carl, you know, the suspense is terrible. It is. I hope it'll last. Yeah, just getting a little feel. He's already through. He doesn't care. He was just thinking of plunging again. Sorry. Oh, yeah. There was Carl's magic number of ten chocolate bars on the dot. Collects his 5,000 and walks away. I'll mess it up. I shouldn't say anything. Big point. Carl, what would Shane tell you right now, buddy? I can't use that kind of language right now. Okay. All right. So, you know, we found out from some of the Wonka kids at the last show, they get asked all kinds of questions. They were really candy they were eating when they went into the factory, and they said, yeah, there was like a little piece of something there, but if you fade off too much, it was all plastic. That's a good story. And also, the chocolate river was made out of powdered chocolate. Really? Yeah, it took a couple of weeks. Wow, I'm surprised at that. Five weeks, they had to change it a few times. It turned red one time. It got all bubbly. They need 9,000 more. I'm okay with the combo part here. There's some Waka Bars. Waka Bars and Multiplier. Hit big points. How much are big points worth? How many more? He's got eight Waka Bars. So he's sitting at 4,000. You got the 10 right there. 5,000. He needs a couple more. If he doesn't... He's also got the multiplier lit on the, uh, Gopstopper. Oh no! Look how fast that was. Oh no! Oh! He just missed! Oh! He needed one more! Oh, the hug! The hug, man. David gets by through by the skin of his teeth. Oh, I think my keyboard just died. Keyboard down, everybody. Oh, there we go. Just kidding. It was a Windows update. Alright. See the ladder. I am out of here. Okay. Okay. Who got eliminated that round? Johnny Monica got eliminated that round. Yeah. He's going to go back with his Italian girlfriend there. Yeah, some consoling. He might have teared up a little bit. He's still in good spirits. Yeah. Nice. Good job. Good job. Bad job. What are you talking about? Well, now you get to join us. Okay. Okay. Because Carl gets to show you how it's done. I liked your combo now for chocolate bars. Welcome, Johnny. One ramp. You need one more chocolate bar. One more chocolate bar. Oh, wait. It wasn't much, too. It wasn't much. Yeah, it wasn't much. All right. Hello. Yeah, I'll chowch. I know. I see it. I'll chowch. Exactly. Yeah. Oh, well. It's okay. Now we get to commentate. Yeah. I've been here the whole time. You have? Why? Why? Why? I wanted someone else to win. Oh. whatever. I don't think so. It was mostly because we were talking what was your girlfriend's name? Manuela. She beat me on AFM which kept me out of Oh, she's been talking about it all night. But it's good. So what do we got right now? We got David Oliver. Yep. We just squeaked by last round. He's got a lot of games. He came in in the second round. So he's, we're now in the sixth round. Oh, he's had plenty of practice. Yep. Knows where the tilt bob is. Yep. He knows what's going on. Jack getting asked for one more signature. Yep. Probably been a few of those tonight. So from what he's saying, he's saying that he's actually going for kid multi. It looks like that's the easiest multi bob to try to get right away off the bat. Well then, because you can also hit your gobstopper lock hits during that multiball. Right. So it makes sense, you know. If only one person's getting eliminated, go for that. Why not? Get your next multiball all prepped up. I mean, I guess on your first ball, if you're connecting with the ramps, that's a good idea, too, because you're building up your bonus that carries over ball after ball, right? So Carl said he's getting a minimum of 10 chocolates before he does anything else. Okay. Which is just the ramps. Because it's a 5,000-point bonus every ball that carries. Why not? Why not? He's got that side ramp. So what has he got going on? Is that a mode? Yep, the fizzy room mode. Shoot left ramp. So shoot the left ramp. 2,000. I'm okay with shooting. The left ramp's pretty safe. Oh. That was not even close to a flip. No, it was not a flip. No. Yeah. Nothing you can do. 6,500 bonus, though. You know, that's okay. carries over a times three yeah so he's got 12 000 in the bank he's you know 30 000 you're not gonna be happy with but you know that you at least have that they would have won the the previous game i was thinking it johnny but i wasn't gonna say yeah i respect you too much oh that ball save using that early is it hurts because then you know that oh he got it back lit though he got a little Yep, so it's the gum targets on the top right that relight it. Yep. I was going to draw on the screen, but I'm not sure I know how to clear it. I believe it's the escape key. Yeah, I think it's the escape key. Yeah. Try it. Come on, try it. It's okay. You can blame me. So these are the gum targets. There we go. Escape. Oh, it works. You're a pro. My circle is more circular. You're right. I'm good. Excuse me. So let's see what's going on now So Jack, what do you think so far of what's going on? How do you like it so far? I love it Yeah? Yeah, absolutely Have you been at any other launch parties before? That's a starting point now I was in Germany At a launch party a couple of Saturdays ago I went in for a few hours to Germany Just, you know, went in Okay Did the party and went home You know, everybody goes to Germany for a few hours. Yeah. It was great. It had a lot of people there that obviously didn't play the game, didn't see the game before. All right. Brady's Pinball Paradise. It was a lot of fun. That's awesome. Friendly people, too. I mean, I met quite a few of them. Everybody, you know, everybody's friendly. Everybody really is really open arms about this thing. That's the beauty about our hobby that, you know, really everybody's there to help each other out. It's cool. It's true. Everybody's happy with each other. Whenever you travel, people are just, they're awesome. Yeah. That should come back. No. Is it? Is it going to come back? Don't move. Yeah. Don't move. Did he walk away? No, he didn't walk away. It's called D'Python Anghelo. He's not going anywhere. D'Python Anghelo's not going to walk away. He listened to the screen and did nothing. He's going to wait to get his bonus before he walks away. Oh, yeah. Yeah. All right. So he's basically just ramping out right now. Absolutely. Absolutely. Getting a good feel for it. I mean, he hasn't played in a while. So, I mean, nice. Nice not doing anything. Like, your body wants to move and jerk. You know, you get that left-right rhythm going. It's really great. It feels really good when he's shooting those. Yeah, my understanding that he's not doing those. He's not switching over the inlanes when he's going ramp to ramp. my understanding is you want to actually switch over the red light to the other one, and then it kind of completes it. Okay. To light up the bars? I don't know if it's light up the bars or light up something. Yeah, I'm not sure. It's blue on the left ramp, but the right ramp is definitely the way that it comes through, the inlay that it comes through. I don't know. He still had 25 bars. He had 12.5 base bonus, and he had 25,000, so he'll get... Oh, man. So much of that. That a lot, too. I don't know if that flipper's changed a little over the course of the tournament. Maybe getting a little softer. But if it hits right where that little factory target is there, it's gone. That, just like that. It's happening again. You had the kickback. Thank you for demonstrating. I like it. Oh, he moved the red thing. See, exactly. I don't know. You want to move it to the opposite end. There. See and it lights it up. Okay, let's up both and I'm not sure what it's doing though It's the dead target there should be like a super skill shot doing that Right skillfully draining aside from bonus That was not good that that's gone oh Oh man, ouch. So that's it. And all of a sudden, calls back up. No, there's one ball left. Okay, it's still ball two. Got it. Is it ball two? Yep. Yeah? Yes, sir. You're right. I know we're having a lot of fun here, Tony, but let's not make it go quicker than it needs to. I know, I want to go home already. So you know, if you're playing against somebody and they drain pretty quickly like that, do you feel better or worse? Do you feel like you're good? You need to take yourself away from that, because you've got to play your own game. When you get complacent, that's when you make the silly mental errors. Oh, man. Right? So that ball kicked everybody's behind. It did, equally. That was four house balls. So this has got to be it. Even with the house ball, though, Carl had a bunch of bonus, and that fell out. That's why he wanted to collect that early. Oh, yeah. So David needs 29 to continue. Anything less, and this is decided. Yeah. He's going for multiball That's risky The only thing he's got left for enough points 29 isn't enough Because player 2 still has a ball left You're right I guess it's the way to go And with nothing else He's already played his kid I would like to have seen him roll that over There's some stress going on now This is your tournament life That's what I wanted to see A little roll over pass Let's see if he gets Oh! Yeah, it's fine. At that point, might as well. It was all or nothing there. Yeah, he had to do it. Lost 6,000. That would not have been enough to get out. That's it. Rightfully so. He did what he did. Yep, that was a good run. So David Oliver will go into the pace value. Yep. And the next three all move on. All right, so this is essentially the semifinals. Yep, two more rounds left. So Raymond will be coming in. Yep. Yeah, again, we're just watching some practice here just to see what goes on. But David made it through one, two, three, four, five. That was his fifth round, so, hey, not bad at all. So did you get any fatigue going through more rounds, you know, than just sitting around like the winner at the end and just playing one guy? It does. Depending on how the rounds go, it can be draining, right? Especially since his last couple rounds, he's had to fight a little bit. The first two he kind of walked through. He coasted right through. He was feeling really good. Then he got beat up. There is a huge mental portion of this game. Right. And it is exhausting. So do you like to be the last guy just waiting for everybody to come meet you? Or play a little bit in there so you have some... I would like to get around to it. But the way that this format is, you know, being guaranteed top four, that's okay. That's a good thing. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, take a bye every time you have a chance. That's what I would say. Yeah, you know, you're guaranteed placement. You're getting something. You're going home with something. That's fine. But there's a little bit of merit of getting a little bit of warm-up, but, you know. It could also knock you out, too. Yep. Yep. Yeah, nothing's guaranteed. Not worth the risk. Leave you a whole game on the play field. Yep. See, right now, like Carl, he's taking advantage of basically this practice ball. Yeah. He's getting a feel for the game. He hasn't played in hours. Oh, that looks nice. Let's see what he can do. I mean, if you consider this playing. Kyle is amazing. His skills barn on some of the best as he drains to. Fantastic player. He's just going to try and ramp out a little. Get a little bit of feel. There you go. So now he's switched over to in lane. Okay. All right. He got Violet. So now he's going to... Oh, he's got what? Two kids. multiball. Two kids. Trust us, my dear boy. It is so nice to play when you know you're not going to be eliminated. So each kid adds a different type of jackpot to the multiball, it looks like. Okay. I'm learning a little bit. Brian in chat stating that he's rested up for the final four. Coming in hot. Jackpot. Super Jack. I like any speech poll that has Jack in it. I'm curious. Where does the word jackpot, something to do with jack in a pot or something like that? I mean, I don't know. Tell everybody. Where's the origin of it? It just fits everywhere. I like it. It just fits. Good and bad. Yeah. I do not know what its origination is. What is it? Etymology? What's the origination of words? I can't remember. It deals with Jack. If you hit a home run, the guy says, oh, he jacked that ball over there. He jacked that ball. There's something about Jack. What's up with Jack? Jack is really a good thing. You know? More Jack. We need more Jack. Yeah. We've got a lot of proof of that today. We've got a flat tire. Go get the Jack. Yeah, go get the Jack. Yeah. I'm going to change the spare. Wait, are you a Jack of all trades? Master of pinball. Or you have a trademark. Jack of all trades, master of fun. Super lock two. What happens when you get super lock three? Maybe you get a super multiball. Oh, see, now we're getting the online people coming in. You know, you don't know Jack. You don't know Jack. He started something. $600,000 by Carl, showing his prowess and dominance. Do it again. Hit the road, Jack. Hit the road, Jack. Come on, we want to hear more puns. I believe a baby kangaroo is also called a jack, right? Jackaroo is a nickname. A bunch of people call me Jackaroo, but in Australia, Jackaroo is a cowboy. All right, there you go. Jackaroo. My Aussie friends I do it Lousy My Aussie friends Will call me Jackaroo Oh my god Look at that bonus Look at that bonus Beautiful 394,000 in bonus Carl Good job It's all the multiball The multiplier Yep Oh the multiplier is huge Why didn't you tell me To hit the multiplier When I had the bonus You need to hit two ramps I need two ramps Well he did mention That there was one multiplier lit Yeah That all I needed But you were feeling the rhythm of the ramps I was Let go back to the finals ladder and see where everything was Let see what going on over here I may have to move this over. I don't know if this is tied to that screen. I don't know how he did that. It's not tied to the screen, so I'm not sure. We may have to zoom out or something. Oh, it is tied to the screen. All right. Wow. All right. So we're already on our next game. We're coming to you live from Ace Jogi here in Van Nuys. We've been here since about 11 a.m. this morning. And Shane and his crew put on a really great event today. About, I don't know, 70, 80 people participated. A lot of fun. Oh, yeah. Great venue, great food. I mean, man. Oh, the food is amazing. Lunch combos that they have here. I just found out what Ace Jogi means. all you can eat. A-Y-C-E is all you can eat. All you can eat. And gogi means beef in Korean. Oh, that I didn't know. So look at that. Look what you find there. A wealth of useless information. My gosh. Well, you're a jack of all trades. What can I say? Oh, these puns. All right, we're starting. I'm a real crackerjack. Yeah. I used to eat those a lot. I love those things, man. They are pretty okay. What is it? So Carl is we're already on player three. So we used the player one and player two. Had multiple 5,000. That's about it. So Carl's already going on his bonus spree. He's saying, let me build it up. Let me have something in the bank. Why not? Backhand it. 10 was his bonus level. So he got 10. So he's got 5,000. So he'll be tied with everyone else at 10,000. There's a big growing gallery behind this of everybody Yeah, a little bit of an amphitheater going on. Watch what's going on, which is pretty cool. Next year, Shane will have to get some stadium seating here. They'll need another expansion then. They just opened this up a little bit more. Push this right through the wall. Well, I mean, this is the final, right? Yeah. One away from the final. Is it one away from the final? We're in round eight right now. One away from the final. So this is top five. Semi-finals, yeah. Loser will not get any hardware. Oh, nice save. That's what I'm talking about. Now. The single danger, too. And they do carry. That's right. They do carry over, so that's it. But if that's one danger, that's okay. If that's two danger. And he didn't do anything with it. Had a chance to capitalize. He did, but he didn't. So now he's down a danger and he's out of the. But he's winning after ball one. He is. All right. Nice little soft lunch. This is Matt, I'm guessing. Matt has been doing pretty good. Yeah, he's playing great. He survived quite a few rounds already. He came in in round four. Yeah. So this is his fourth round. Just got his kid and his lock split. Yep. Take care of the lock first and then kid multiball. He's going for the bonus. Oh, no, he's not. He was using it for the transfer, it seems like. It's a safe wave. You know, I think that's a good bailout shot. Let's see. What's he doing? I don't like that. There we go. Whenever that happens, you're like, where are you going? I don't like that. He's going for the left orbit. No, he wants kid multiball, which is lit on the left. Oh, it is lit. Oh, it's a red lit. I thought it was supposed to be like a purple lit or something. Maybe based on the kid you get, but. Huh. That's like an angry kid. Is that what he's ready for? He's an angry kid. That must be Augustus. He has the best pictures. I just want everyone to know. So the rollover strap for the locks was really working well. That ramp rolls over nicely to the right flipper. Again, every game that I step up to, the first thing I do, find my bailout shot. My bailout shot on this game is the two ramps. Yes. If I don't know what to do, if you guys want to get better at home and find, it's a mental game find your bailout shot something easy to access from either either flipper one morning yep liberal tilt and he's there you go see if you can start hitting ramps oh nice try on ripping that oh two dangers so that's it for him on the dangers yeah that second one not quite as worth it but you know tournament life at stake so all right let's see carl here he's uh trailing yeah but he's he's got a bonus and he's got bonus he's got five thousand a bonus so yeah basically he's not really you're right he's working on that skill shot okay there's a thousand candy jar i don't know what the candy jars do Welcome to the factory. Shoot gum target. Oh, that seems dangerous. Shoot gum target. This seems like a great multiball mode. Wow. Oh, he's trying to start his multiball. Yeah, so I think the color it flashes is based on the kit that you will bring into it, maybe. Yeah, post-transfer multiball. Boom. Violet. So now with gum multiball, this could be, I mean, the gum mode, this could be huge. Oh yeah, because now he can... Well, and he wants to actually stack that with the multiball. The golf stopper multiball. Yeah, golf stopper. We've stumbled over these. There we go. Shooting for it? Come on. Start shooting for the golf stopper. I think he likes ramping out. Why wouldn't you shoot for... He doesn't know, maybe. Maybe he doesn't know. I don't think it's possible the card doesn't know but yeah we had talked about it we had gone over I think he's got a game plan and he was sticking to it he might have wanted to audible it fit there but wow ok more ramps nice shot it rips the spinner got the super lock one yeah back to ramps coming back ok he's at 142 he's feeling pretty good at this point he's really doing that upper ramp yeah that oh what a fumble what a fumble that hurt a lot that was ugly oh he better go hide go hide wow so i know you are what what gives you extra chocolate bars is there something like is that what the candy jar is? It's just like, here, have 50 chocolate bars. Come and get some more candy. Yeah. Clearly don't have enough. Can't get enough candy. So I was telling Carl, go hide, and he told me, hey, I'm still playing, you're not. Yeah. He's right. He's right. And his bonus was larger than your game. Yes, it was. Oh, man. So there you go, for talking smack. Nice, right? Wow. That was good. Yeah, this is where, knowing where other people are and only knowing one person is going to eliminate it, I don't. Okay. Ouch. You'll take it 66. Raymond, 66. But 66 looks good. It's not terrible. Not ball three, right? It's ball two. Look at that. 18,000. So he's sitting on. Oh, beautiful. He's at 102. Yep. Starting the next ball. Yep. And he's got two players. player one and player two that are way behind so i mean yeah you're right he's looking good yeah and that's what i was saying like instead of going for the lock shots i would have just been ramping out let's go back to the bonus that we've seen ouch that just sucks we should have just left that graphic up of that arrow down to the left that would have been i i think he thought he started a multiball well what well he forgot the clip i think he got thrown off because it stopped the ball i think he thought he had started his multiball yeah well he's not out yet so 10 10 000 here oh boy oh that was with everything just that was scary just ramp out my friend no not enough he's gone player two is that felt like me a couple of rounds ago it looked like you too Steven great showing today really nice unfortunately we'll be going home so Gar is going to keep warming up right now for his finals so this is it the finals yep ok we got kid multiball alright Brian is going to come in he's going to say like Da, da, da. Yeah. Nice. That was nice. Let's see if Brian remembers how to play since he hasn't played, I don't know, what, in three hours maybe? Yeah, something like that. He may have forgotten, but he's still going to be happy. He still gets top four. How many people we had today? 52? We had more. We had 65. Holy sugar. Yeah. This is like a... Oh, ouch. Okay. Oh, no, it doesn't matter. Yeah, this is top four. That's a great showing. This is going to be his best finish ever, points-wise. Wow. No bonus acts. Player four is up. So Raymond, he's going to practice up as well. Why not? Because now it's not about finishing second, third, or fourth. It's about finishing first. Your position in this will determine. In the podium. Yep. Yep. So they've been doing the starts really quickly. So while he's practicing, I just want to show everyone the ladder. And so for the last four people, we have Matt, Carl, Raymond, and Brian. And that will be the order that they're also playing in. And like we said, your finishing position is where you finish in the entire tournament. Yep. One game to determine everything. That's it. So. No mulligans. No nothing. No, no. This is the key part. Just some pressure, that's all. A little bit of pressure. I feel it's like easy pressure, though, because you're already in top four, right? Like, you want to win. Well, you still want to win. I'm talking to champions, right? Yeah. You want first place. We always wanted to win. You want the first place. Or, you know, is the third loser, I guess. I don't know. Or is it the fourth loser? It's also the 61st winner. Let me tell you something. You've got to get yourself jacked up to win this thing. Oh, you had to put the jacked up in there, didn't you? Yeah, that's what you needed to do. Very subtle. I'll tell you what, though. Whenever you finish first is the only time that you're driving back home and you don't think, what if? Right. You know, because you're like that. You did what you needed to do and you won. No what ifs. Now all of us are going to go home saying, what if? Derek, what's going to be your what if? I want to restart today. There you go. See, yours is a big what if. Black Knight, AFM, Deadpool. Yeah. I got two ramps right at what if. Yeah, you just needed a ramp. It's okay. Jack, what's your what if? I don't look in the rearview mirror. I just keep going forward. You just keep going. Yeah, you can't drive backwards. No regrets. There's no regrets, really. So Matt's stepping up. He's already got one danger. Like I said, they started these quickly. That's why I went over to the latter. This is it. This is the finals. Yeah, this is like no fanfare. These guys are just like, let's do it. And he looks dialed in to his shots. Ramp, ramp, computer. All right. What a run has Matt had, huh? He's been in since, what, round five? Round four? Wow. I'm thinking if you get that whole bonus X as your reward, you just start going chocolates and multipliers. Because we've seen how big that is. Yes. Look at that light show. Can you imagine? You could even see the ball and all that. I love it. You should turn off the lights and do that. I don't even know how you orchestrate that. Get an epileptic attack, man. Also true. Also true. Anyone who has epilepsy, we should have put the warning up. Yeah, the seizure warning. Yeah. All right. He's still doing good. He's still hitting. Oh, he's got one. Oh. Oh, and that was savable. That hit the left. 63,000. It's okay. Not a bad ball. Not a bad ball. Again, this is winner take all now. So, 63,000. So, he's got 10,000 in bonus. I don't know if it was multiplied. Yeah, but now we got the heavy hitter. Now we got Mr. Karl DeAngelo. Yeah. Sweaty hands. Now we got Mr. Second Place in Pinburgh or Third Place in Pinburgh. I forgot. I think it was Second Place. He podiumed Pinburgh. Podium Pinburgh. Yeah. Pretty good. All right. He's ramping out. He wants to get to 10. Yep. And he's missing a shot. And that shot has been death every time. Yep. Nice. He's got that shot down, though. Yeah. Nice. Nice. Nice draw catch. There you go. Back to the top. Yes, he hits it. So this takes an enormous amount of focus to do that. Like, to have that natural skill with it, I mean, it's a lot of time on the machines, too. But this is not easy. It's much easier to panic And get frantic It's just smooth Is he going to collect the kid? No He's saying no I don't want to collect the kid I want to ramp He's getting his whole phone 15 second ball saver Maybe That looked like a computer shot He's going to go back to ramps No No he's going 15 second ball saver 15 second ball saver Very nice He's going into the That's more worth a lot Jackpot value is 15,000 Oh, ball save. That's what the ball save is for. He needed it for sure. Now is when I start looking at hitting that or the kid. Take all your dangerous shots now. Not anymore. Not anymore. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. Kind of a waste of the 15 seconds. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he got one hit at the gobbler. Yeah. Gobbler? Gobstopper? Gobstopper. Something that's especially gobbler. Yeah. I hope the riverboat mode comes up and you try and pronounce that thing. The Wonka Tonka Chater. Wonka? Yeah, Wonka Tainer. Wonka Tonka? We're crushing it over here, guys. Wonka Tonka, Wonka Tonka, Wonka Tonka. Yeah, it's the... Lake Wonka Tonka. I think it's in Pennsylvania, that lake. Wallenpaupack or whatever the name of it is. Throwback to the Pennsylvania Great Lakes. Oh, boy. All right, so let's see what Brian is going to do here. Brian has not played. We haven't seen him play. We have no idea what his strategy is. He's just hacking. I think it's Bob Stoppers. For anyone who was curious as to how Brian... Get ahead of that plunge, my friend. How did Brian do this? Oh, my gosh. What a horrible... Yeah, and he knows it. He walked to Brian and said, why did I do that? Yeah, you've got to get ahead of that plunge. Or not over plunge. There's so much room to stay safe and short. Oh, peace. I'm a little surprised. Why is it that Brian is player three and Raymond is player four? I think that he personally likes player three. He's done it a few times. That's weird. He doesn't like the pressure of knowing the target, but he doesn't like the pressure of having too many people that can pass him. So it's a balance of, like, I know who I'm beating, but I don't have the excess pressure to get 1,000 points. That's weird. I want to have that. Yeah. All right. So let's see. Matt is out to win here, man. That will wait. I think he has two children lit. Yeah, because it's maybe three because it's flashing three different colors at the kid multiball. All right. Shoot the cap. Oh, no. Wrong flipper. Flip. Come on. Yes, he knows that he jumps. Carl. All right. See, Carl. Carl is saying, yep, I got to capitalize on that. This is why it would have been nice for him to hit the kid's shot to qualify it during that ball. No, you just said hit the kid, man. I mean, come on, man. Be a little nicer. Come on. You don't want to hit the kid. Come on, man. Berate the child. Ooh, Carl got bit by the kid. It's straight down. There's something here. And then, bam. I think that's the mean kid. That's the kid you want to hit. That's the red kid. Yeah, that's the kid you don't want to hit. He hits you back. We've seen a lot of those late flips on that top flipper, too. That kind of just goes straight left, and it's super dangerous. Let's see. Now, Brian, he wants to ramp it. He started gobs. Let's end gobs. He's trying to go for gobs. Yeah. That's the way to do it. You already started it. You've decided that that... Oh. Didn't get an opportunity to decide. Outlaying death. That's unfortunate. Okay. All right, everybody. Let's see if Raymond can get in the game here because he's trailing. Takes the computer. Big points. 10,000. Got to note that Raymond is playing... Nice. One danger, though. It's okay. Come on, Raymond. Yeah, with that left post gone. yeah make that left outline so dangerous yeah he's not happy we'll have an opportunity on the last ball it's gonna need a lot though computer all right here we go this is it right here everybody this is it it's the last one the nation of today's tournament all the fantastic work right here one ball oh thank goodness that didn't hit the the death nub all right so he's by the Wait, his kid multiball just went away. Does it? I thought he'd already played it, but... No, he didn't. I don't think he started it. Okay. That's okay. 124,000. Carl's got 57. Let's see what he can do here. God. Again, this is why it would have been nice to hit the kid. Carl doesn't look like he's sweating at all. Tap the kid gently. Luck hat. Yeah. Look at that nice drop catch, man. Oh, no. And it's out. And Carl is done. So right now, Matt is looking good. Wow. So here, look. Gobstopper multiball is big, right? Yep. I mean, 124,000. Yeah. He's got one lock already down, right? Get into the multiball and fishtails it. Just ramp, ramp, ramp, ramp, ramp. Okay. Computer's good? Ball safe? No. No, big points. That's fine. But it's still not... Alright, what's this mode? Fizzies. What do we got to do? Did he hit something? Oh, what a beautiful picture that it did. He just totally duck-based that. He did. Alright, a couple spins. Why not? Okay, come on. There you go. He hit it. Oh, it didn't register though. But he hit it. Nice drop catch. He hit it again, but no. It's not. It's not. It's going to be hard, my friend. He's not going to make it easy. Good. Still ramping it. Oh, there you go. Now it went in. Now I hit it. Now he's going to try to put it in the hole. No, he's not going to put it in the hole. Come on, put it in the hole. I would at this time bash kid and get that going because you can. Gone. Gone. Just like that. Just when you were trying to explain what he should do. That's pinball. The tears are just taking out. He played well. All right. Five wins and a third, and he gets 57,062. So he was only 5,000 short of Carl. All right. Raymond for everything. Can he pull it with one ball? Raymond can. I'm sure. He's a fantastic player. Let's see. Places every time he plays. Yep. What is he going to do? He's thinking about what to do. There you go. He hit the... He wants hit. He wants that multiball. Get that multiball. Because that... Oh. He survived this. Oh, wow. He survived it. He survived it. You did it. He did it. Nice, Tiff. Look at that. I like it that in the meantime, in the background, there is a Wild Thing playing, you know? Yeah. Dead bounce. Willy Wonka is... Willy Wonka with Wild Thing. Just missing the... Oh, boy. Wow. Okay, there you go. Concentrate. Stop. Count to three. Boom. Violet. Boom. Now you've got to just bash the gob. You've got his chance right here. You've got to find something else to stack into this. Well, he's got 50,000, okay? So, I mean, yeah, at this point... Are you going for the win? Is he getting that back? It's gone? I don't think so. Gone. Oh, bonus? Bonus per second? Yes, enough for second place. Wow. Wow, that's it. Look at that. And it's done. So we will. Good tournament. Good tournament. Listen to the claps. Wow, these guys just sweated out, these guys. They played amazing. That was good. That was. Nice job. So. So our winner. So first place, Matt. Yeah, Matt. Wow. Matt went from what round? I will bring it up in, I was trying to do some admin stuff at the same time, and I, oh, jeez. We, we, Carl is, Carl gets third. I'm just typing that in, and then Brian will get. You can figure it out. Okay, special. So I'm like. And so, look, Brian was waiting for everybody, right? Yeah. And he wound up at four. Yeah. Not that there's anything scientific about that, but waiting around didn't seem to help him, did it? Oh, yeah. But he still finished fourth, though. Right. Well, the worst he could be was fourth. If he didn't show up, he was going to be fourth. He played six rounds today. Right. Six. And it's going to be his best showing ever from an IFBA. Oh, absolutely. Six rounds. No, no. There's nothing to be ashamed about. No. It's really great. Oh, yeah. The points per game there are high. And let's look at Matt real quick. So, Matt, he got in in round four. Round four. No, round four. Yep. So he went five rounds. Six rounds. Six rounds, right? One, two, three, four, five, six rounds. He went all the way up the ladder. He was in there, man. Okay, they're taking some pictures. Yep, I'm sure they're going to want to have some on Jack. They're going to want to have some on Jack. Good job, man. Good job. You got me all jacked up. I'm all excited about everything now. You guys are great. I love you guys. You're good, man. Thanks for coming. Johnny, you know, you got a good girlfriend there. She's pretty good, huh? Yeah. Yeah. You should cook Italian, too. Oh, my God. Where do you think we're getting weight? I've been gaining like 10 pounds. Good for you. Yeah, I don't know if it's good for me. You've been on keto for like a year. Yeah, I've been eating cake and whipped cream and all that stuff. You know, you've got to... Everything in moderation, right? Yeah. Now I'm enjoying it. The most important exercise you could have, if you have an Italian girlfriend or Italian wife, this is the most important exercise. Which one? Is it PG or is it R? What is it? Push yourself away from the table. That's the exercise, my friend. Just, you know, I'm... I could always lose a little bit. Hey, let me tell you something. Just push yourself away from the table. I found myself eating standing up sometimes because it's so good. That's the problem. Good for you. I hope everyone on Twitch land is paying attention to this. Thank you, guys. Love you all. Jack, thank you so much. All right. And, Derek, what do you think, man? Is it time? I think it's about time. All right. Thank you, everyone, for tuning in. What a great day. It was fun. Thank you to Shane, to Carl for bringing everything in. Thank you, Johnny, for coming on the mic for a little bit. Dude, I had nothing to do. I mean, for me, it was easy. When Johnny just breathes, he does a great job. He's so good at it. Really? That much? Oh, man. Yeah, he's just getting a big head, too. I love it. I love it. Just push yourself away from the table, my friend. No, I don't want to. I love this. It's feeding my ego. Are you kidding? JCH. It's okay. We're not talking to anybody anyways. I don't think anybody is on that. On the shirts, why don't you call East Kogi and ask Shane if he's got any extras. I do not know the status on those. So if you give them a call, I'm sure if he's got to deliver one, he can make a deal with you. And that probably goes for anyone that's watching the stream. He makes limited amounts of them, and they're amazing. They really are. So, again, I want to thank everyone for watching. It's been a wonderful day. awesome pinball. Yes. Thanks, everybody. Thanks, Eric. Man, you've been on this for, man, all the rounds. That's awesome. Yeah, absolutely. So that's it, guys. We're taking out. On to the next one. See ya. See ya. Bye. Bye. Bye. That's what I was gonna click on.
