And my first game was on Medieval Madness, and I put up like a 50 million on that thing. Just blew it up. It was awesome. And then I had to play one of our dead flip prospects, one of the gentlemen that might be joining our crew, played me on Taxi, and he beat me with a plunge skill shot. it was pretty sad. It was pretty sad. But Nick got knocked out first round on The Walking Dead by the guy who actually owned all four of the games there, so that was a little unfair. But it worked out pretty well. For me, I ended up getting knocked out, I think, second or third round. I think it was second. And then there was some holiday party going on there for some company, and this dude came over and asked Nick and I, and Yancy, who's actually a moderator in the chat, to judge their ugly sweater contest. But I like to just blow the crap out of Sparky, right out of the gate, Then you use that multiball to light up the picks, get it in Snake's Mouth for your 2x, and you're at a ball. Then just start collecting jackpots. During your multiball, though, it's always important to try to remember, and I have trouble remembering this, is try to remember to blow up the coffin shot. What's in the way? The snowball is in the way of the main view shot. I don't know if you care. Oh, yeah, I'm not too butthurt about the snowball being in the way. So multiball is the best time to start working on that because you just get to flail for that short period of time while your ball saves on. And then you get your out of ball, your ball saves back on, beat the crap out of the coffin some more. When you mix those two, man, it just points galore. Galore. Anyhoo, let's just go. Let's just go. Blackened. That was a bad loop pass. Holy crap. Maybe I need to loosen up here. Alright, let's do some more catching than we usually do here. Here we go. Keep running around Sparky. And a way to stop that is to reach over and sort of hit the game when the ball is near the edge of the machine when it's coming down. If you tap the machine into it, it pulls the ball away just enough so it's not going to touch the slingshot. It works out pretty well. Yeah, I got it. Make sure you stretch. Stretch your eyes, stretch your fingers. Alright, so we need like two more shots to Sparky. Maybe one if I hit between his legs, so we're just going to post pass and get it up there. So Tilt is about that. Special and Lit is kind of a general state of pinball, a little bit of history. So let's just go for that. Let's get Fuel started right before we get Sparky started. This is something the pro-level people you'll see do a lot is bring things into other modes or stack a multiball. So I got one multiball with my add-a-ball, with fuel running, and went from 8 million to 67 million. I got a 50 million multiball, which is a big score in this game. It's not going to get you on the boards here, but it's pretty good. And it got me to crank it up. If I played a better crank it up, that would have gotten me another 20 to 50 million just for crank it up. So that's something to keep in mind. Any mode that can bring you in to crank it up. So the fuel thing, the fuel idea is pretty cool, right? But we've tried it now three times, and I've only gotten it once, right? So did it make a lot of points? It did. But is the risk for going for it worth the reward if you're not always going to do it? And this brings up something that happens a lot in tournaments. Sometimes in a tournament, all you need to do is beat the other player that you're playing. So if I'm in a tournament and I'm paired up against Brad200, who I always am, and we go up to Metallica, all I have to do is beat Brad, right? So that means if he gets $20 million, all I have to do is beat $20 million, or depending on who's first or whatever. But at some tournaments, you have to qualify to be in the finals. What that means is you're competing against everyone all at once. You're not just competing against one person to see if you can beat them to move on. You're actually trying to rank in the top of everybody that will ever play this game all day, all weekend in some cases. Things like Chicago Expo. You're battling against scores from people that have been playing this game all weekend. So what that means is you have to play a little bit differently. You're not just going to step up and play a normal game just to get, you know, 20, 50 million because you're not going to make it. You're not going to make it in the finals with something like that. What you need to do instead is play risky and try to get those big risky wins and then keep trying until you do. Doing something like stacking those multi balls or getting to crank it up. You know, you want to get there. So whatever way to get there. So what I do is instead of going for the big points by trying to get fuel or trying to stack a multiball, I just go for Sparky. During Sparky, I hit my shots, try to build up these shots, which will get me towards crank it up. And then I get to crank it up, and I just kind of hope that I get a good crank it up. Lately, I've been sucking real bad at crank it up. So maybe that's not a good strategy long term. Maybe it is better for me to learn how to hit fuel. You know, some people ramp out. They like the ramp modes. Anyway, a lot of different ways to play, but let's play another regular game. Here we go. Lucky bounce. We'll play a little aggressively on this one.
