like and I gotta fix that camera I see now um we have five goals for this heads-up challenge we have defeated dimmer Gorgon start a chapter starting demo dog attack start telekinesis multiball and finally a two minute drill so we'll go over the quick tutorials while we're getting set up here take a look at these the bracket for finals can be found at chalange.com on tiltst all right that was a an additional beyond that tutorial you have to actually defeat the demogorgon that starts it you have to defeat it so there is also to start that there you've got to hit that multiple times so and the first time you've got to hit it uh clear the bank twice but if you get if you clear two drop targets and then shoot it up behind it actually counts as clearing the full drops right you got to get that three times right and apologies for any drop frames we are on a Cellular Connection today and it is pretty bad and the local Wi-Fi unfortunately is not uh cutting it either you guys are ready [Music] all right our first challenge has been chosen our first two competitors are David Oliver versus Michael Oren and they're getting ready here I think we're gonna start a telekinesis multiball challenge so that is this challenge and this is best of three so these uh players have to win two games and then they're moved to losers bracket or if they if they lose it's a double elimination bracket and I'll throw that up here very soon and unfortunately I did not update the standings on stream elements so I will have to type it in Tom slash on tilt St that should get you there all right so we can look at the back quickly here we go David picked the uh the challenge here so he picked that he wants to go with multiball and Michael got choice of which machine he wanted all right let me get this going ready all right three two one go and our first match is underway so when trying to start this multiball right away it's really key to just use that ball saver time oh yeah hitting those stand-up targets now the ball the games are set to five ball and the players are also to restart allowed to restart the game at any time not that you want to run this goal I believe but uh yeah other goals that may be advantageous to restart the game if you fail initially David is got his locks lit he just needs to lock his balls right Michael still needs that left side of the uh stand up there to life a lot he's having trouble finding that shot that's uh this target right here David not find the the ramp that looks like I will say from my experience it's a lot easier to hit from a backhand and he's got it it is I agree I agree yeah both of these these machines play a little differently yes you know so one has the backhand a little later than the other correct yep all right so now it's Michael's Choice he gets choice of game if he wants to switch machines or what goal to choose so Michael chose started chapter mode and we're going to be starting this on the left orbit this one and David went ahead and picked the switch machines wasn't feeling the machine was on so players have to coin up themselves for these challenges yeah which is a good point when we talk about that they can restart the game you can hold start button to restart you have to re-coin up after that right two one go all right so this should be a quick challenge there's three quick left orbits of course the nerves are in play yeah having been in these finals before um I know uh it gives you that whole hurry up feeling of like oh I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go exactly and you have to calm down you have to forget about that you need to just take your time don't worry about what the other players do and that's it that's it all right David wins 2-0 and we'll move on yep to the next match ROMs versus Bob Rob Bob all right rob you have you're the high speed choice of goal or game you won the game on the right all right Rob chose the game on the right so you get to choose the goal all right we're going for Less orbits again same boat Bob's still going to drain that ball or hold the start he's got a ball yeah all right they're both ready to go there we go three two one go all right so once again both are going for that left orbit Bob hits it on right away Bob's got two he's feeling pretty confident Rob's caught up with one and there we go all right Bob got it that game what what going Bob I can't do challenge are you ready so if you're not familiar with the game in general um starting a mode on this uh game requires you to make three shots uh to any of the four targets the left Loop the right the left orbit right orbit left ramp or right ramp and then you got to make it three times Derek's got two ready to go he just needs one more shot to finish this kind of Trapped up oh Christmas this is when the pressure gets on the first I don't know I kind of think I'm just gonna pick the demo dog mode you know I'd like to see it I want to see someone pick that just try and get the the G Target over on the far right we'll play the demon dog uh if that ever happens we'll play the tutorial all right Derek's got this one all right Joe Gameworks or gold the demo dog attack all right we got it let me uh show this so this is dim the dog attack here's the tutorial for demo dog attacks probably the most complicated of the the options here within this look at these videos Carl beautiful did you see the intro video we got Shane joined us on I I did see you I tried to share it but it was too big so yeah so you have to spell out demo dog with all of these stand-up targets including one which you can't hit directly from why would he pick this and then also this will make a shot after that simple yeah all right I mean I would say the logic to pick this when I would pick this is if you're not super comfortable with the shots in the game does it give you a chance to kind of flail about a little bit all right ready three two one go all right we also have a five minute limit on these challenges and this one could potentially take that long did you set the games to five balls yes the games are set to five ball all right so so far Joe has the D lit in his demo dog uh actually he's got a few now he's got uh oh there's a can you get demo dog letters during multiball I don't know oh that hurts him a little bit just by having that demo Gorgon up so he did the smart thing and just drained yeah because there are two demo is this touchdown I thought no it's not I can do it though uh there are two Targets hidden behind the drop targets that you need to get for demo dog yeah you Which chapter to start there's also telekinesis multiball there is kill the demogorgon uh there is demo dog mode and then two minute warning two minute drill so two minutes to get the highest score two one go all right so they are bashing those drop targets so every drop Target adds a letter to the will run including the exclamation point so you basically need eight drops correct sounds like the last drop tiger down instead he shot behind it up into the shot which counts as knocking it down got it it will knock any of them if there were three up and he makes it sneak past it it will take that is actually the hit points basically of that demogorgon so you can see now it's down to one shot left in that I mean register the other way to do it is get it in its mouth right on the first shot you get in the mountains all right Raymond's got it oh that means I gotta go play 2-0 all right let me get your all right the next match as said it's Matt row bottom or commentator versus Hall Salem two Targets to the side of the ramp and they shoot the ramp three times and you're done like one of those times you always hit the uh ramp when you want to hit the targets yeah it's like a Metallica when you want to hit the picks instead of uh you know for your atom ball yep I always shoot the ramps instead neither player has lit their lock yet Matt's the juggling with the ball and ball drains so it's not looking so good the games are seven to five balls so yeah not the end of the world there we go you play yet Carl no I'm uh two games away from this all right there's one lock commands Paul still unable to find that left Target so Paul starts the defeat the demogorg and what happens with the ball locks is it still carry over he has to wait and time that out I believe they're still there they just don't light up what do you think of that I don't like it all right we have one more lock for and Matt's got it all right that's it matters look at that beast mode he's on fire all right next match is Ron Resendez versus Steve Pendle right orbit mode right orbit mode right or remote I am a little surprised I respect that all right no one has chosen too many drill yet normally that's one of the first things people choose all right I think with this one the the two minutes a little different because there is that getting almost random upside down and it's not random these are set on tournament mode but since they're not linked together they're not going to have the exact same number of switches between the two of them all right three shots to complete this challenge right orbit just a little bit behind but he could always hit it in a single shot you're right or Bob could miss a bunch he can catch up and Ron has caught up just about Bob needs one more shot Bob's dialed let's and when you're playing when they're set on competition mode and you're playing against people in a league format or on the same machine it will be the number same number of switch hits for each person you don't know how many it is right in this case since the games aren't Linked UP it could be you can link them no no you take them but he's just saying that yeah the games don't know how many the other one are so one could be 20 and the other one fifty right so Bob going for the dimmick organ unfortunately he fails there I don't know if the difficult is enough points really I'd say start a mode it's kind of wrist versus reward with those Center shots it's light the lock and go to that multiball well because you're gonna start the mode automatically right exactly because you shoot the ram three times look at the mode and the multiball uh if I knew the modes better you know because some of the modes score a lot of points some of them are a million a shot somewhere 250 000. yep so Ron defeats this by hitting it he'll get 5 million for that which is the head of one oh Bob's got the upside down right now Bob can just a big points right here oh One Missed he doesn't know yellow oh dog I don't know the scoring in that mode doesn't seem to be much though with the two minute drill it seems like whoever just kills it off upside down for sure that's right I don't like it very much it has to be a number uh we do use for kids having fun I don't like the two minute drill at all yeah I've heard this game right I know yeah it definitely works better on other games ready three two wonder if this challenge would be better to set the multiball too hard so you know you need to do that that's a good point I mean yeah I mean I think and now having played through this the Lessons Learned I would say is the two minute drill doesn't really work well because of the upside down yeah and you picked it didn't you uh no no either no I didn't pick it I would never have picked that I don't like that random okay Paul's got the upside down it's fine you still lock balls during it yeah the upside down again you get to make the progress but it does hurt you a little bit if you're not 100 sure of what you've got lit because you can't see it would the UV lighting kit let you see what you've progressed to probably not no because it's an extra 100 bucks for that he needs to drain though because he's put himself in a mode and he's not able to uh that's right another ball he should be able to enough no he just got that shot and it didn't do anything oh it locked his ball right first so this is a feature of this it is a very quick ball search when you lock the ball I don't know if they've got an opto in there or something that is just registering there's a ball behind those drop targets but it doesn't take the usual 20 plus seconds before I think he has all the shots lit Carl because he does he just does that one shot which he's going for and just missed where's uh Brian at uh Brian yeah he's still missing his D and the heart all right I think Carlos let's see right here [Applause] so that'll eliminate Brian and uh yeah I believe Seventh Place good job man [Music] Targets in the ramp three times for that uh multiball challenge pretty quick very quick all right start demo dog attack demo dog attack who's that all right I'm asking you if you want three two one go before oh that was a nice shot in there for David bye David yeah now he can just focus on the others let's see on see I think you're right I mean that that return from that right orbit gets it really close to that chain it just doesn't have enough to how I got it I think I don't know if I got lucky but I shot this Target and it rebounded over to there Lucas starts a mode doesn't matter you can still catch it you know get the letters during this yeah this is one of the one of the things that's stackable with just about everything in the game it seems is it David he was just looking for two Targets here looks like he's focusing mainly on that right the right one that you can actually hit which hopefully will give him a nice bounce back down to the G oh foreign probably for grass you just can't see it yeah exactly and what I've noticed is the progression shots while you're on upside down they like for an instant so if he were to hit one of those stand-ups it would light it for a Flash and then it goes back out together oh it's still not getting that Target on the right side of the right ramp that would be the oh the second no all right take your time David take a breath all right Luca is in the he just needs the G nope I think he's gonna try and backhand it here which of that there we go all right now both of them now just needing that g so who will get a sling hit into the into it that's that's basically what it is I think get this one I would start shooting for that left sling oh he got it he he actually grazed it with a shot from The Flipper wow nice Lord Lord did decent if you can combo the ram where he's going for dinner Gorgon which I I disagree with you yeah totally that look in the meantime he's in there he got a hit right away on two of them that's 15 million another seven and a half there and another finishes it so he got almost the perfect upside down Dave's only hope now is to actually get down upside down yeah and Lucas starts multiball okay so David just got his upside down he now has to hit those where's his ball though it was up in the hip in the top so he's got two more targets to hit there you go yeah excellent excellent job catching this format is for right because we can run a quick tutorial before any of these defeat them because they're going to start I'll do it at the next show how about that we're late in the game here might be more fun to just watch the tutorial of course I am ready three two one go so to me this is the high risk mode because if you drain during demo Gordon you're toast yep you are toast and as I learned from firsthand experience that's a very real possibility all right they both have will spell they both drain the first balls on the ball too now I'm surprised uh Raymond short plunge there instead of full plunging yeah because the football plunge gives you free targets right exactly so Raymond needs one more Target the left jump targets just get it right in the shot oh there we go drains downloading that's really what both these players are looking for yep yep and not to drain right when it starts Raymond having trouble with left ramp like some people did that sucked it felt real uh real not good neither player really putting anything on the board here yeah this is crazy oh upside down for Raymond 15 mil right there all right another seven and a half hey you missed that Target I missed that last one but that's still 30 million Ron starts his demogorgon and the upside down will not start during this mode exactly so it's horrible start yep Raymond's just gonna keep trying to get into that multiball one shot left on that so it's interesting Ron does have the demo dog rolling which actually I can't remember the exact scoring on it but which hits are are worth everything not there is yes we're hopefully it will be the first tournament there yeah or Woodland Hills area right right uh it's a great location definitely check it out right now there's only a couple pins in the when Bowen completed it to see if it's changed oh the code Yeah the code has changed quite a bit right and I understand my understanding is the wizard mode has changed as well because right now it's very difficult to get there okay you only get 60 seconds to get through 19 shots wow very specific shots too that's uh that's a lot yeah and then you said you're gonna have to change some pins out here you know I'm gonna sell off one here uh I'm gonna be selling um Maiden Iron Maiden and uh Oz I think oh you can sell them both yeah because I have a Rick and Morty coming I like you do yep now I have a Rick and Morty as well yeah so once that comes Something's Gotta Go and I don't know I may pick up a Jurassic Park I mean I don't know I'm still undecided by now I really like the game I think it would be a good home game though I think you can get it's pretty deep I thought Maiden would be too but I'm tired of it kind of oh really but I get tired of games pretty quickly yeah the biggest flip from Loser on February 29th in San Diego there we go are you gonna go down I'm going on I'm planning to go as long as I can make everything work schedule-wise excellent tournament check it out on uh have you so uh with that tournament the it's a critical hit tournament it is that's right and uh one of the benefits of of doing The Biggest Loser aspect of this is if you checked in with Kyle and gave a wait earlier uh you get a weigh-in at the tournament and for every three pounds you lose I think you get an extra card that's a critical hit that's right I have lost maybe the three pounds I maybe maybe I think I unfortunately gained after I weighed in which is not a good idea oh yeah can I win again Kyle I just re-way the tournament is over we're just waiting for the prizes to show up Shane with the money to finish off the uh to show off the trophies and yes Binkley there is a critical hit at captains on 329 there's also a stranger things launches happening everywhere now tomorrow tomorrow at captains next week uh mission control I think down in Santa Ana right San Diego's doing theirs so lots of those go on Facebook and and look for uh SoCal pinball events something so I got pinball events not soak out pinball and events but just so count pinball I'm not getting into the argument of which which one you go look for I'm saying if you search for the word so-called SoCal pinball events well you will find a couple groups and in those groups people post uh events upcoming the reason I'm saying SoCal pinball events and not so-called pinball animates which was originally SoCal pinball the reason I'm saying this is because there are events that are not being posted to the Silicon pinball and events group anymore yeah because of reasons let's just say that's what I said let's just say I'm not gonna say reason go to one or the other I'm saying go look on Facebook and you can find lots of pinball events in your area oh see how uh Johnny who wasn't please Johnny it
