Stern reveal another Star Wars game Another edition of What's Cooking With A massive auction of pinball memorabilia Hi, my name is Jonathan Houston I'm the editor of Pinball Magazine And I'm joined by I am Martin Abel I'm the editor of Pinball News and Jonathan and I are here to look back at all the exciting events that happened in the pinball world during the month of September 2025. The pinball industry, to be more precise. Well, yes, of course, yeah. Well, yes, there's plenty going on outside the industry, of course. You're quite right. Yeah, so we're recording this on, well, for me it's still the first, and for Jonathan it's the second, so we're just covering anything that's happened up until this point in the industry that is worth reporting on. Yeah, during the month of September 2025. Yeah, plus a bit. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, so, well... It has been announced. We almost thought there wasn't a new game, but there was a new game, wasn't there? Yeah, well, there was, but it was announced that it would be coming, so we already discussed that it would be coming in our previous episode, And the 12th of September it was finally revealed, Star Wars Fall of the Empire. As far as we could count, the 10th iteration of Star Wars in a pinball machine. Yeah. If I say that correctly. Yeah, it's a bit muddy because there are all different versions of it. But when it comes to Stern, you've got the original version, you've got the comic art version and the Yellow Stripe version, and it all gets a bit much. But, yeah, we're talking about ten different versions of Star Wars assets or licensing, plus one that's obviously used Star Wars assets and didn't license it, I believe, which is called Force. But that goes way back. But regardless, yes, so Stern revealed Star Wars Fall of the Empire, which seems to be a new franchise, and as we reported in last month's Pincast, not available globally, not available for sale. Yeah, I doubt it's ever going to appear globally, but it wasn't available at launch in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa. Yes, and on that note, what I noticed is in Stern's press releases they're talking about the US and Australia and some other markets as the initial markets instead of basically cutting off Europe and Middle East and Africa so that leaves room for that there could be that the game could be coming to those territories as secondary. It could do, but it would be interesting if they do do that because the, let's think a certain cornerstone game, then there are the Pro, the Premium, and the Limited Edition model. And the Limited Edition is, I believe, limited to 777? Is that right? Yeah, 777. 777, yeah. Basically based on the year it came out, 1977. So, if they then expand it into new markets, are they going to increase the number of limited edition models? Well, then you get twice those 777. Well, how does it go up to 1,000 or 12,000? Well, we can talk about that for an hour. We're not going to do that. Let's focus on the game and we'll see what markets it will enter. Because I'm quite sure there will be quite a bit of parallel imports anyway. Yes, which is already happening. I already know of at least one game that's been imported from the US. Well, with all the other Star Wars games, that's probably enough. Yes, quite. So to say, three models, Pro, Premium, LE. As we're used to, the Premium and the LE have basically the same feature set, but the Limited Edition has more bling to it. the Pro quite cut back I'd say on this model compared to some of the earlier ones missing all the sculpts well most of the sculpts I should say that are on the playfield, still has the Death Star and the Millennium Falcon of course and seems to be missing what's one of the big features of the game which is like the force ball save which if the ball goes down the left out lane you can press the action button on the lock bar which activates It's a magnet in the sort of where you normally get the shoot again light, just below the flippers, which can grab the ball and throw it up the right out lane and into a special cutout that feeds it into the shooter lane as a kind of ball save. But that's not on the Pro, which is a shame. And also there is a lift ramp in the centre, which also isn't on the Pro. Right But there you go Okay, so But the two-flipper game, if I'm not mistaken Nothing too fancy, I would say Didn't have a wow impression on me at first No But I'll still have to play it I haven't played it yet So I'll reserve my opinion Yeah, quite right, yeah Well, it's Star Wars You basically know what's going to be on the game there's going to be a Death Star, the Death Star's going to open up and you can shoot the balls into it and the balls will be fired back out of the Death Star and start multiball. You'll assume I know what a Death Star is. Well, there's two Death Stars in the Star Wars story. Now you're really making it complex. I know. What is interesting is they put the pop bumpers down to the side one on the left and one on the right just above the outlanes. Things got an easy type of... Yeah, a bit like that. And there's a spinning cup type feature as well, underneath Jabba the Hutt in the Sarlacc pit, which spins the ball round and awards one of four possible awards, depending on which one is lit. Martin, did you write a special article for the reveal of this game? for Pinball News. Well, finally you should mention that, Jonathan. But yes, I did, yes. Yes, it was a busy day on the 12th. We get all the assets out and try to make sense of exactly what the game is. But yes, there's all the pictures of all the games, all the different versions of it, and the flyers and the videos and the feature matrix and all that kind of stuff on pinballnews.com, so you head on over there and read everything there is to read about. Star Wars, the fall of the Empire. Right, okay. Anything else regarding Stern Pinball, because I guess we can talk for hours about Star Wars, but we're not going to. No, not really. Well, apparently this game was revealed, as you said, on the 12th, but its first actual outing in person, as it were, was at the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown, which was the following about a week later where they had I actually don't know what they had there, I didn't get to see it I know Jake Danger was there with a bunch of games Ah, ok, you know more about it than I do There's a small video on Stern's social media worth checking out, and of course everybody's full of praise of this new game. And like I said, I still reserve my opinions. Yes. If you... What is interesting, I was about to say, is that this is the first Cornerstone game to feature the Spike 3 board system. And there's more information about Spike 3 coming out all the time, including the fact that it is backwardly compatible with Spike 2 games. so you have a spike 2 game that the controller board is broken or in fact if you want to take advantage of the improved video handling and the improved audio of the spike 3 board you can get a spike 3 board from your Stern distributor and replace your spike 2 game does that mean that you can replace your display panel with new speakers and a larger LCD I guess you could although I don't know if the opt is the same size or whether it's a different size that's why the size remains the same ok I guess so because it's just a direct feed from the from the spike 3 board or do you need a new backbox design because it doesn't fit otherwise ah that's a good point yet to be proven I think I wouldn't expect it to be that accurately compatible with the whole frame for the backbox. But it's good to know that you have some future availability if your spike 2 board should fail for any reason. Some way down the line you can always put a spike 3 in. We'll find out more about this actually because one of the things we're going to be talking about quite a bit in this Pincast with Pinball Expo coming up is what's going to be happening at that show. Who's going to be exhibiting, who's going to be talking there and which seminars will be held and one of the seminars at Pinball Expo in well just a couple of weeks time now will be focusing on Stern's new technology. I'm talking about Spike 3 controller and future features they're going to be adding to it, including things like Bluetooth headphone support, which isn't there yet, but will be, apparently. So, George Gomez and pals will be there to talk about it and tell you what's there at the moment and what they have in the pipeline. And that's one of many Stern pinball seminars coming up. Right. Including the making of Star Wars and King Kong and Dungeons and Dragons. Absolutely, yeah, all happening on Saturday evening, I believe, leading up to Dwight Sullivan's Let's Make a Deal, I think. And personally, I look forward to Gary Stern and Joe Kemingwell talking about the early years of Data Ace Pinball. Yeah, not to be missed, that's 1.30pm, I should say, on Thursday at the moment, although all these timings are liable to change if circumstances beyond the organisers' control. The Spike 3 seminar is currently scheduled for 4.30pm on Friday. So a busy weekend of seminars, but we'll get to that later when we talk more about Pinball Expo. We have quite a lot to say, and we're not the only ones talking about Pinball Expo. Oh, he's a teaser. Yes. Then, well, back to Stern Pimble. They were apparently at Riot Fest, which is a heavy metal festival, I would say, with a lot of hardcore guitar bands, whatever you want to call it. Very loud. But they had a bunch of pimple machines there, or a local distributor. We have some photos and video on their social media again. What they didn't show on their social media is that a large section of Stern's management actually went to IEFA Europe, which was held in Barcelona in Spain. Large delegation Including Gary Stern Seth Davis Doug Skor Well, Lloyd of course Is the European guy And Probably Not sure I don't have a complete list But Yeah, they were there That's an industry show of course which is always a great opportunity for Stern to talk to their distributors and have their distributors man the Stern booth if there was one. That's one thing that they usually do if you're a distributor. Oh, now it's your turn to host anybody who wants to come by and play pinball in the Stern booth. You know how it goes. Yeah, oh yes. Yeah. Okay. And I guess, well, we could talk for hours and hours on Star Wars, but I'm actually far more interested in is there any new code? Oh, I knew you would. I knew you wanted to go straight to that. I'm surprised we didn't put that in the headline, to be honest. But, yes, it's been a busy month for new code from Stern. You'll be pleased to hear. Yes, they've... Well, it's cheaper than sleeping pills. Yes, John Wick, Star Wars, Fall of the Empire, just launched, but it's already got new code. Dungeons & Dragons and King Kong all get new ones. John Wick, on the 25th, quite a lot of rule and scoring changes, plus a new sound and display effects. So that's helping that game come along and fulfil its potential. I mentioned Star Wars. Well, we also mentioned that we also covered the first day of October, which is just as well because the new Star Wars code came out today, the 1st of October, version 1.85. See? We're on top of the news. It's worth waiting for. Yes, added Darth Vader modes to the game, Yoda mission levels 1, 2 and 3, some Obi-Wan mission levels, more for Han, Luke well I think all the characters get extra mission levels and there's a new attract mode light show added in as well so that's version 0.85 a little way to go before that's complete Dungeons and Dragons getting close to version 1.0 it's actually 0.97 at the moment thanks to the latest update on the 30th so yesterday that had seven new achievements added, a couple of difficulty adjustments, a few rule tweaks, and quite a few bug fixes for that game. And finally King Kong, Myth of Terror Island, version 0.88, so that's some way back as well. Not much further than Star Wars on 0.85. That had just had a few tests for the playfield mechs added, like the gong, the swinging gong. King Kong himself, the log diverter, over on the left-hand side, drop targets and RGB lighting, plus a couple of bug fixes, so nothing big in that one. And so those four titles got their new code in the month of September. Right. And I look forward to playing all of them at Pinball Expo within just two weeks. Yeah. So listen to that now. Now, and speaking of Pinball Expo, I wonder what's cooking with Rob and Bridget Burke, the organizing team, couple I would even say, behind Pinball Expo. So I have been informed that Rob isn't actually quite the cook. I think that's true, yes. Yes, but as we know, behind every great man stands a great woman. So why don't we reach out to Bridget Berg to find out what she's cooking. Hello. Hello, good morning. Good morning, how are you? I'm good, this is Jonathan. Let me add Martin to this call. I mean, it's just crazy how fast this year just absolutely flew by, in my opinion. And I feel like we were just at the 40th. Yeah. We went crazy. Everybody did. It was a really great experience. Martin's also present now. Hi, Martin. Good morning. Good morning. I feel like we were just together recently. Like, the year flew by. I know. It's crazy, isn't it? It is. Everyone is just really, really excited for the show this year. I bet they are. Yeah. Well, we are. Yeah. I was almost going to call you The unsung hero of Pinball Expo But I'm not sure you're that unsung now Because I think a lot more people know At least some of the things that you do For the show Probably don't know all of it So I just wanted to thank you On behalf of everyone Especially those who don't know what you do For the show Those of us who have some inkling See you running around like A mad thing for the entire duration and obviously all the work you put in before, you know, in preparing for it and sorting out the hotel rooms and sorting out so many other things. I'm wondering if, you know, without blowing your own horn too much, whether you'd be able to give us a sort of an idea of what your project looks like as far as Pinball Expo goes in the weeks before it happened, weeks and months, I suppose, before we actually move over to Schomburg. Right, right. Well, no, that's so kind of you to say that. You know, honestly, you know, when I always have had an interest in pinball, the funny story is that Rob actually sold my parents a pinball machine when I was a kid. It was in my basement, which is just, it's mind-blowing. He found this notebook when his mom had passed away. He saved a lot of things. And he found a notebook of like pinball sales because in our small town, he was known as, you know, kind of like Rob the pinball guy. And if you were looking for a machine for the holidays or a birthday or things like that, like he was known around town. You know, someone that collected the games and, you know, would often try to find that perfect game for someone. And so it's funny, you know, he's older than me. And I remember playing Whirlwind at one of the local bars, which then he surprised me and had that game signed for me and dropped in our condo while our house was being built when we got back from our honeymoon. So I never asked my parents and my brothers how that game got up to the second floor. Yeah, probably best not to know. Best not to know. But the funny thing is when we later found this notebook and he's like, you know, oh, yeah, there was this game. I said, Rob, I remember being like 13 years old and my parents like surprising us for the holidays. I have three younger brothers. My dad sometimes is able to come to pinball expo. My mom not so much anymore. She helps take care of my one daughter, Zoe. But my dad was there last year, too. But, yeah, I remember being, you know, a kid. My parents were like, we're going to get a pinball machine for the holidays. And we loved that thing. And here it was, Rob, in my house. You know, he was 27. I was 13, which was so funny. And then it was years later in my 20s that my mom's cousin, who had fixed my parents up, because my dad was from Massachusetts and moved to Youngstown, Ohio to come to school and stuff. And my mom's cousin, they were fraternity brothers, fixed my parents up. And it was the same cousin who had called me and said, hey, are you dating anybody? Like, you know, I have this guy. I know he got us a pinball machine in our basement, and I want you to meet him. I know he's older than you, but he's like a big kid. And why don't you come over? We'll play pinball in the basement. We'll have dessert. And if he wants your phone number, we'll take it from there kind of thing. And the rest is history. Wow, it certainly is. Yeah, 31 years of marriage and five kids later. Unbelievable. We have two triplets and one older, one younger. So it's been fun. And they love pinball. And the house is full of that stuff too. Oh, yeah. Which is great. But, yeah. You like pinball. Yeah. And I remember, Martin, like when I started dating him, I think that I believe he had just maybe had the show. But I remember I think it might have been or maybe I just was going to go with his mom or something. Might have been like 1992 or 1993 was my first show because I was still in high school when he had his first one. So I never made it to that one. But, yeah, I've always loved pinball. But I guess when I started figuring out, okay, what is this thing that you do once a year? And I went to school to be a teacher, so it was, like, pretty organized. And I'm like, well, maybe there's a better way. You're doing a mailing list back then or other things that he was doing with all of that. You know, we'd have the family around the table recruiting my brothers and parents. Let's put labels on these things. And then with the computer age, it was like, okay, let's kind of try to simplify things a little bit more. And then the Internet certainly had helped with email addresses. But I guess for me, the easy thing to say is I am the person behind the info at pinballexpo.com email address. Everything comes to me, everything. So you need to be across everything that's going on then, really. I am. I basically have. Because you'll get questions on everything, won't you? We do. We do. And when we finish the show, the first thing is, when can I sign up for next year? and basically the hotel doesn't even release the room block for a couple weeks, so we have to kind of answer everybody. We're so glad you're excited, but give us a couple weeks until, you know, the hotel code comes out and the block is released, and then we get, you know, when can I sign up for everything? You know, so I guess Rob is busy after this show starting to think about the following year and looking at, like, you know, vendor packages, anything that we're putting on the website, you know, trying to update things. That's a little bit of a process there. And then I think we had our first vendor that may have signed up back in February. So that's always exciting to see who's going to jump on that opportunity or who the first person is that maybe is coming to the show. A lot of times it was someone from Robert Englunds, I believe. I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but it would come across my desk and see that they have registered. so yeah basically I get questions from seminar speakers to working on stuff with my contacts with the tour this year with Stern so there's questions about we need to get the bus company and just so many details to just break down every component of the show I would probably say that the last I don't know probably since June good thing I like my home office because I'm in it a lot so I just you know day and night working and you know don't mind it it's getting a little hectic right now and then I'm like someone's telling me oh yeah I'm coming in on this day and I'm booking room reservations and then I'm like okay wait what did they say they're coming in on Monday or Tuesday just because it's a lot of overload right now with just so many details and I always say that there's little yellow post-it notes they kind of become like wallpaper on my desk right about now There's just so many of them, of little reminders of things that need to get done. And, of course, I always hold my breath the minute that we do open, hoping that, you know, we've prepared enough on our end, wanting to give everyone that wonderful experience. I mean, we certainly try hard. We appreciate people's patience and understanding when, you know, something isn't going the way that they thought, but we'll try to fix it. But our goal basically is to ensure that everybody that walks in the doors is having a fantastic time at Pinball Expo. And it's really become, you know, a family reunion for many. It's just a reunion of friendship over the years that they come and get together. I love the father and sons that, you know, come in and families that are bringing their kids, introducing them to the hobby. You know, just seeing old faces and the new ones who email me all the time. Like, I'm just so excited. This is my first time, and I'm always like, we love our first time. We're like, tell me more how you heard about us. What do you hope to see and experience here? So we're all super excited right now, definitely. Fantastic. Well, thank you for taking some time out from all the work that you have done and still have to do to give us your recipe for our What's Cooking section. So ask the question, what's cooking with Bridget Burke? Okay. Well, thank you for having me. I'm going to say that this is one of Rob's favorite recipes, and I love it especially when we are just winding down getting ready for Pinball Expo and we just simply are out of time. And Rob's like, please don't give me any more cereal and toast for dinner. Give me something good, and please make your apricot chicken. So this recipe is one of our favorites in our families and very, very simple to make. That sounds great. So what are the ingredients and what's the technique? Okay, so basically you are going to mix up in a small bowl, it's one jar of apricot preserve. You can use any brand that you like, and I use a pretty large jar. It is one bottle of Russian dressing, and I don't have the exact amount that that is in the bottle. I apologize, but just one bottle of that. and then it's going to be one packet of dry onion soup mix. And so I put those three into a bowl, and I take a whisk, and I whisk that all up really, really well until it's nice and smooth. And then I have a 13 by 9 glass baking pan, and I put down probably I think in the pan is about maybe five or six chicken breasts. I use boneless skinless chicken breasts. I pat those dry, and then you literally pour that sauce mixture over the chicken breast, and you leave it uncovered, and you pop it into the oven until your chicken is done. So I usually say maybe, you know, 50 to 60 minutes. I bake it on 325 degrees, again, uncovered. Sometimes as the sauce starts to get hot and bubbly, I open up the oven, take a spoon, and just kind of stir it around and just make sure like I'm coating the chicken with it. And then Rob likes me to serve it with, I make white rice and usually put down like a couple spoonfuls of the white rice. I'll get the chicken breast on top of that, and then I spoon the sauce all on the rice, and we love the extra sauce on that. And then what's nice with this dish is usually like a green vegetable. and tend to do like green beans or broccoli or both. Sometimes Rob likes peas. The kids don't. So I might, you know, be a great wife and try to give him peas also with this dish, like a nice crusty bread and a good salad. And then, you know, probably something – I'm a chocoholic, of course, so something chocolate for dessert would polish it off. But it's just so easy. You don't have to think about it or fuss. You can kind of pop it in the oven, go back to doing your work, things like that, and then in an hour or so you have a great meal. Easy to make the vegetables. Usually I steam them or roast them. So, yeah, it's a really tasty dish. It's something the sauce is really, really nice. And then my kids told me that sometimes they will use that same sauce over salmon and bake salmon the same way and just use that sauce. So it's two recipes in one go. It's very easy. Yes, it's delicious. Thank you. I'm heading to the supermarket a little bit later, so I may try to get the ingredients for that sauce and put it together. Oh, I know. It's delicious. It's so good. It sounds something even I could make. Awesome. So look forward to it. Yeah, it's a little break from pinball and have a good dinner. And, yeah, it's a lot of fun. It's a nice company dish. Sometimes, you know, some people don't always, you know, have a lot of maybe chicken recipes with sauces and things like that. So it's just quick and easy. It makes you feel like you've been in the kitchen for a long time. But, you know, nine out of ten people just say, oh, no, that's really tasty and good. So I'm glad they like it. A little bit sweet, a little bit with the onion soup mix in there is different. And the apricot preserves, it's nice. That all sounds absolutely delicious. So thank you very much, Bridget, for sharing what's cooking in your kitchen with us. Absolutely. Thank you for having me. All right. Thank you very much, Bridget Burke. but we also very curious of course what cooking with Rob and as Rob is well together with Bridget the main organizing team behind Pinball Expo I have a feeling Rob is going to share some thoughts with us about the upcoming edition of Pinball Expo, which is in two weeks already, sir. Wow. Rob, are you there? I'm here, mate. Good to hear from you, Rob. And thank you for joining us. But I suppose the first question is, then, after last year's 40th anniversary extravaganza, what have you been cooking for this 41st show? Well, you know, for me, the most unusual aspect of this year is that the momentum that started last year and carried through the whole show has moved on to this year. I mean, we're still selling out of the hotel. we're still getting tons of vendors and the energy and excitement is just continuing so you know when I look at last year's show and even Jonathan and Martin can share with you I lost my mind to have so many seminars we had to actually have two rooms did you find your mind again? no, still looking for it but the point is How could someone come up with so many seminars? It's a lot of time and energy, guys, to be honest with you, just to put this together. And what people see is pretty much the finished product, but they don't see the people that say, you know, I can't make it after all, or I can't make it at that time, probably a different time, or at the last second someone cancels out. So it's evolving constantly. But this year, hopefully, we've got another lineup that people are happy with, and you know some of the key players I was excited to bring in this year is Steve Ritchie who will be speaking about his history in the designing part of pinball starting with Airborne Adventures to the latest game he did with Jersey Jack that should be exciting to hear that after a rather lengthy conversation with Pat Lawler I asked him if he would do me a favor and kind of one more hurrah to come back to Expo and get his speak, because last year he kind of gave me the impression that was it. Yeah, he did. Yeah. I don't know if he was burnt out or just felt that, you know, people didn't want to hear him anymore, but they do want to hear him. And Pat Lawler's seminars since day one have always been packed. And they were packed last year. So he's teaming up with Larry DeMar, and they're going to have a perspective on the industry that they shared at Williams and beyond. So I'm looking forward to that. and finally I'm very pleased to bring Joe Kamikow back into the fold I've always been very keen on Joe and I've always appreciated all his efforts and time he's spent with Expo and for some of you listeners in the very very early years and we're talking about in the mid 80s but we used to have the banquets and Joe always found the entertainment so we had magicians there, we had comedians but even way back from day one, Joe Kamikow was always a part of the expo the other thing he did guys for those that know about it we had a game that was produced called Baby in the Hole Joe was behind that along with the team from Dead East and he helped make that game a reality Harvey Heiss spoke back in 86 or 87 about a game he played as a kid called Baby in the Hole. And he explained the game. And his dream was to have an actual pinball machine or an arcade game made with the same rule set as Baby in the Hole when he was, you know, growing up. So Cam McHale heard that, and he said, we're going to make that dream become a reality next year at Expo. And with Kevin O'Connor doing the artwork and Ed Cibola from Daddy East and the team down there, they put together this piece. And when we had an expo, I recall we had it covered up with a blanket or whatever. And we said, Harvey, come forward. We're going to show you something. And they pulled the blanket away, and Harvey Heiss got to his knees and just didn't cry, but he was just shocked back there. It was a precious moment. What happened to that game? I still have it. I'm watching over it, guys, but it was a roll-down game. roll downs are very big for Genco for those people that follow Genco at all I assume we're going to be seeing it at Expo this year as well. Well now that I've spoken about it we have to bring it next year that way I know Martin will come back Yeah well one of your other games which certainly drew a lot of attention last year was tied in with the huge explosion in homebrew games. That's your Mothership, the massive game, which was in development when we saw it last year. It had artwork, but it wasn't really playable at the time. Now, do you want to tell us a bit about that and, of course, about the massive homebrew section that's really exploded in Pinball Expo? Yeah, so with Mothership, you know, I grew up when Hercules was first presented to the people out there at the arcades. And it was a novelty just in hopes of getting people to see it and be awestruck by it. You know, it's a novelty way of bringing people into the arcades at the time. But over the years, as we've all seen pinball develop, you know, Hercules became a very plain layout, and it was a single ball game. and my dream was to have a similar type of game only in a multiball format. So I remember asking Jersey Jack about it and asking, they fixed an American, will they build a game and went from one person to another and no one had the interest. So then Ryan Tanner Petsch, who's a homebrew guy, kind of stepped forward and said, I'll have to build it. So he spent a long time building it, but didn't quite get it done at the end of the year. And he still had some issues. So I picked up the game and had Ernie Silverberg kind of take over. And he brought it to a new dimension. Got a lot of things up and running and working. And for those who saw the game last year, Ernie had just got the game several months beforehand. So there was more that had to be fixed on it than he realized at the time when he first got it. So that's why he brought it when he could. But this year it's several steps forward, and the multiball is working. They've got sound now. They've got effects. They've got metal ramps, not wood. So, you know, it's getting closer and closer to the look of today's pinball. Fantastic. So, you know, we're excited about that. We're going to be adding some more sounds to the soundtrack. but like you alluded to Martin what's crazy is that I had been after Marco for about 8 months to do something for me that I had seen once before at the show in Allentown and what it was was like a supermarket so it's not for a better term than a scratch and dent sale of used parts out of date parts overruns whatever you want to call it from ramps to parts to plastics. You just didn't know what to find there. And finally, Marco Ramirez from Marco said, all right, you got me. I'll do it this year. So along with Emoto, who's been very instrumental in helping with the Expo, let's face it, she helps with every show. She's an amazing woman. but they just they gave me a size that they figured they would need and that was a booth the size of 70 foot by 80 foot and they started preparations for the show I think they're going to have the Marco TV that they've had some of the earlier shows earlier years with the TV there and the stage and all that and then most recently a motor reached out to me He said, you know what, we need more room. We need 80 by 80. So we tweaked the layout of the vendor floor, and the 80 by 80 is now going to be a reality. And from the last count, I think there are around 50 homebrew games. You know, we had 40 last year. We thought we lost our mind. So this year it looks like we've got 50 coming. Steamboat Willie is coming. Cuphead, which is always a fun theme, plus a multitude of other ones. From what I understand, from Jake Danzig, he's working on a game that he's so excited about he can almost crawl through the phone. This game is supposed to be so outstanding that they're waiting for people to place orders at the show and it's so over the top. So, guys, I don't know how many homebrews we're going to find, but the homebrew is really coming out on its own. The games are great. Artwork is great. Packages are great. and what's going to be really fun is Joe Camacow is returning to the Expo this year, not only to speak about the early years of Dead East, but he's also going to be a judge along with a team of four or five other guys, also from the industry, and they're going to judge on various aspects, best layout, best artwork, best cabinet, best theme, best everything. So Joe's got about 50 different awards he's going to be passing out over the next few days. So, you know, anytime Joe Kamikaze does something, he does it in a big way. Yeah. So that should be very fun. And then on the other end of the gamut, we've got the 1930s area. So Cliff Schoen kind of started this several years ago when he brought a 30s game to the booth. It was the only 30s game at the booth with the entire show. but he was surprised the amount of action he got at the booth and people played it and last year he went full out and came out with this layout there that the speaking suit kind of a look and his wife was dressed to kill and he was dressed to kill from the 1930s kind of look they had the old couch there the old lampshade with the lamps and everything. It made me feel like you were stepping back into the time zone of the 1930s. And they had a tournament there, and the tournament went exceedingly well. And that area was almost busy the entire show. And they were so pleased with that, and so was I, of course, that they're going to do it again this year, only they're going to have more 1930s games. So, you know, it's just crazy, guys. how things develop at Expo. You've got to remember, at least for me, I'm proud to say, but we were the very first pinball show. We had the visions back in the early 80s to have a show for the enthusiasts, for the industry. And, you know, in the beginning, we were the only show for several years, and then a couple of shows popped up and then went away. But, you know, we're the only show that's always been around the longest, but also under the same management team. Tech has been going for a long time too but they sold their, Ed sold his share of it a couple of years ago he's a new guy running it now Paul's been there from the start but yeah it's pretty amazing that we've been there from the beginning and we've seen a lot of people come and go and a lot of companies come and go but we're still hanging in there and how much longer we'll keep this show going, who knows but at this point in time I don't see any ending No, no, I guess not. But after 40 shows, with your 41st coming up, does it get easier every year, or are there always new challenges to overcome for every show? I mean, for me personally, I always try to find a new attraction. So people don't get bored. Oh, same old thing, you know, 40 hours worth of seminars, or this vendor, that vendor. But, I mean, for instance, this year alone, we have, of course, the major U.S. manufacturers, but we have Hexa, which is a manufacturer out of France. He's coming with a booth. It's not one game, but an actual booth. And then we have Tommy Floyd, who's out of Canada. He goes by Nitro Pinball. Yeah. He is bringing, for the first time on Pinball Expo soil, he's bringing some games from Home Pin out of China. Taiwan. So we've heard of their games, but I've never seen one in person. So he's bringing a couple of the Blues Brothers games. Then he's bringing a couple games from Biktronic, the Spanish games. He's bringing a couple of those games in. So Tommy Floyd, kudos, and thank you for your help. But it's going to be crazy, guys, out there in podcast land, because between the seminars we've got going on, the tournaments, and there's just so much going on. We've got two movies this year, by the way, guys. I know. So if you guys remember Mark Helm, he came years ago. He's going to do a movie called The American Game. And then another fellow, Justin Tolliver, is doing one for your amusement. So, you know, it's always fun to see some new films out there centered around the pinball industry. So that could be interesting. so and not forgetting the Stern Pinball Factory Tour of course a major part of the fund for attendees I think and you know what else Martin I don't know why but the autograph session seems to be growing I mean last year we even had a bigger room and it was packed with artists and designers so that was really fun so you know there's so much to do it's like the everything for everyone show no matter what level of interest you are in pinball, it's here for you. And it's all positive energy, guys. You know, once you come here, it's just, there's so much to do, it's almost like, where do I go first? Where do I go next? And at the end of the day, you know, you're exhausted because there's just so much to see, so much to do. I mean, and Marcos boosts along, guys. You know, you've got the homebrews in there, plus you've got their supermarkets they're calling it, where they're going to be selling new and used parts. So that's going to be crazy. So, um, it's really going to be really fun for those people that come to the show just to see to see it and for me what's exciting is the first time because you know something funny made them decide to check it out and when they do they're going to be quite pleased that man this is really worth it right well it sounds like you've been very busy setting all this up I'm looking really forward to coming over and experiencing the 41st Pinball Expo. You already mentioned the hotel is selling out. How about the hotels in the area? They're selling out as well. I come up with a few more rooms left, but even the main host hotel, they're telling us that as you get closer to the Expo, there are the occasions where some people that have booked a room even months and months ago has to cancel the last second for whatever reason. So the point being there are chances that you might actually get lucky and get a room there at the Renaissance. So you don't know. So in order to get a room at the Renaissance, will we all be on a wait list or on a callback list? Yeah, unless you're having a day back. Should they just bug the hotel and call them up and ask? or do they go through you? Yeah, go through the hotel. I think the link, if it's not down now, it's going to be down shortly, that gives you the special rates. So that's the only thing I can say is if they do have some rooms available at this point in time, it'll probably be at a higher rate. Yeah, because all those special rate rooms went a long time ago, I'm sure. But you know what else is coming back is, If you remember Antoinette Johnson, the young lady that had her hair spiked up with the Symbol Expo logo on it. So she'll be coming back. And so will her little sister, not really, but Maddie, who also comes with her hair all up. So it's always fun to see those young ladies and seeing their hair and all that good stuff. So all good stuff, guys. And, you know, if you get there, you know, it depends. You know, some people don't know what day to come, but honestly you should come Wednesday night because the welcoming party in Terrium is pretty insane. Not only do they have a first-class menu of food that they provide as part of the package, but also, you know, all the games you can play, including bowling there and redemption games, pinballs, videos. It's a great way to start up the show by attending the bumper blast there at the Interium. Yes, that starts Wednesday evening, as you said. I think about 5.45 if you're an international attendee. Correct. 6.45 if you're from North America, I guess, or U.S. Yes, exactly. but they all end up in the same place you have a little welcome party of your own before the main party starts for the international attendees which is very nice and very much appreciated and then of course that goes on until 10 and then it's the show starts with the seminar schedule from 8 o'clock on Thursday morning the first seminar with Ron doing his general pinball repair and troubleshooting tips. You know, it's interesting because we used to have Dr. Scott Sheridan. He was the one that kind of started this, what was it called back then? Coffee something or coffee break or something, pinball coffee break or something. I can't remember the exact terminology they gave it. But he kind of started that early morning seminar. I never really thought about doing something so early as that. But Ron always tagged along. And then when Scott quit coming, he kept the tradition going. well thank you very much it's way too early for most people I think but don't forget listen when it's 8 o'clock here in Chicago it's what 2 o'clock in the UK oh I'm not trying to work out what time it is now yeah you guys should be more than awake yeah because you change your clocks at different times when we change our clocks for daylight saving So yeah We just wing it basically To see what the phone says At the time That's normally correct There you go I have the two guys speaking About the pinball scene in Mexico Oh yeah That would be interesting We've never had those guys speak before So we're looking forward to that Right Okay Slightly related Not so much to Expo But certainly to you How is your past time arcade doing? Well, I'm actually calling you guys from there right now. So, you know, pastimes are another story. As you know, I've been collecting games forever. And there was a time when I had driven past a grocery store and I said to myself, man, wouldn't it be cool to keep my games, store my games there and then once in a while I'd go open the door, play for a couple hours and then go home. And my wife said, you're crazy. If you're going to do that, keep it open to the public. Well, fast forward, you Two years later, we're still rocking and rolling. And we're still bringing in new games and old games. And we're bringing in Evil Dead Charlie. We'll be bringing one into the show here on our floor, as well as Alice in Wonderland. So looking forward to bringing those games on board. Okay. So the lesson here is listen to suggestions from your wife. Right. because when they're right, they're right, and when they're wrong, they're right. Right. Very good. Okay. Oh, well. I guess this sums it up for our section, What's Cooking, with Rob and Bridget Burke. Bridget, obviously, working on her recipes in the kitchen, and Rob cooking at Pinball Expo. But we'll see Bridget as well at Pinball Expo, I'm quite sure she's always doing one hell of a job at the entrance making sure that everybody gets the right wristbands and land yards and what have you so and that's very appreciated I suppose I hear she's a big fan of chocolate so here's my call out to everybody attending Pimple X please bring her chocolate guys start talking for purpose Yes, he loves it. Yes. Hey, guys, I want you to check something else out. Jonathan, are you there? Are you anywhere near your computer? I am on my computer, yes. So I want you to type in dual D-U-A-L coincidence machine. Can you spell that again? Sorry. Dual D-U-A-L. And then let me find this for you, the exact spelling. Hold on one second. And decaboteur. That's the guy, yeah. Did you find it? Yeah. Yeah. Do you see a picture of him again? This is the most complex pimple machine. Yes. Yes, I have seen that. So that guy is speaking to the expert. Now, this to me is unbelievable. This guy isn't even a homebrew guy. He's just an individual that on his own thought about making something creative for this, I believe it was the Bank of Mexico, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, the Museum of the Central Bank of Mexico. So he's not bringing the game because it's massive. it's got five places to play from five different yeah it's like five machines bolted together isn't it? yeah but he will have a video on that and he's going to talk about that so that to me is going to be a very interesting seminar right yeah looks very cool very interesting very hard to maintain as well well you would think so but again you know guys it's crazy how I keep finding all these unusual speakers Okay, now, since you're on your internet, guys, I want you to go to the homepage of Expo. Already there. And if you'll scroll down, I think it's a green section that'll talk about something guitar. It's a guitar. I'm still loading. Oh, yeah. Mm-hmm. Well, then, down clock. Let's see. Yeah. Actual Payfield. Guitars made from pinball Payfields. Oh, God. You heard it. This is his first time at the Expo, guys. This is going to be unbelievable. And this guy has made guitars for Bernicke Leys, Ed Bernicke, Robert, he's made machines for him, or I'm sorry, guitars for him. And he will have about a half a dozen guitars on display there to show. Right. I think I've seen them, or a similar artist, exhibit in Italy. Oh. And I was just shocked by what, why would you ruin a pimple machine to make a guitar? Well, let's face it. If you've got a machine that's turned into a dog game, and you can get 8,000 for it just by cutting a hole in it, you'll cut the hole out. I don't know it still feels a little bit like why destroy a pinball machine to make a guitar out of it I know some things in life even I don't have the answer for but also there's always the chance to make an organ out of it I mean there's plenty of wood you never know that might happen next well so there's always the chance you can make these guitars out of remanufactured playfields you know re-legal and global than the visuals. So maybe not tracking a game, maybe just making a pinball play-filled guitar. Yeah, I'm guessing it'll be a little bit of both. I'll tell you who else is going to be there for the first time this year is a company called Europin. Europinball Corporation, yeah. Yeah, if you scroll that down. So he is bringing in a container game from Europe and he'll have them on display and for sale to show. He will have some American titles including Eclipse for sale and Q-Bert's Quest which you'd never see that game in the States. He'll have one of those on sale on the floor. So that guy, that's another must-see. So again, guys... So what makes you think those games will not be bought by a certain Rob Byrd? Because I already have those titles. They're all for you, Jonathan. But anyways, I guess that's the point about the show. There's just so much to see and do, you know. Plus Project Pitbull, you know, they're going to have a silent auction there and games for selling and so forth. So it's all good. Yeah, as well as your Learn How to Solder seminar, I suppose it is, really, on the floor, which is always popular and always a good introduction for a lot of people who shy away from soldering because they're always scared of holding a soldiery iron and causing damage with it. So it's good to see that those skills are being taught both to novices, youngsters, and more seasoned professionals. Right. Well, you know, again, guys, not much to do. Let me see if I can share with you guys. Well, again, if you scroll down, you'll see some of the highlights of some of the attractions. we do have a fellow from the pinball scientist coming down and Ryan Tanner Walters is his name he's out of Minnesota but he's a school teacher and in the past he would get like a shoe box and he would glue certain components inside of there and then use like a popsicle stick for flippers and so forth. And it's just a small little mini pinball for the kids to try to make. Well, this year I found a toy made here on the shop street in America, and it was building your own pinball machine and it included gumballs. So I was able to buy 24 of them. So what he's going to do is he's going to pick people or people that come to his booth, young kids I should say, and he's going to put together these pinballs along with the kids. So it's going to be a fun little arts and crafts kind of thing that he's put together. So, you know, we try to do everything for everyone at the show, including the kids, so keep them interested in the hobby. And speaking of things that the kids and adults can get involved in, you also have a cosplay contest, as well as I understand it. So people can come dressed as monsters of various kinds. yeah so that was something that Jake Danzig did that's kind of based on the theme of his game so he's asking everybody to dress up for it and he's going to give trophies best dressed monster so now I'm curious what is Rob Burke going to be dressing up like well you know I was wondering about that but what I thought though if I could dress up as either you or Martin and they would never know who I was. Oh, wrong kind of monsters. It involves shaving your head, Rob. Be sure what you wish for. You know what's crazy, guys, though, is, you know, running this show, your head constantly spins around, and it just, the hours just fly by. You just can't, you don't know where to place yourself next. But it's all been good. Yeah, well, we look forward to seeing you in Schoenberg, for Pinball Expo starting, well, two weeks time, I think. Yeah, it's amazing. Yeah, and in the meantime, you're flying to London tomorrow, I believe, and you're not spending all your time working on Pinball Expo, you're also getting to watch some American football over here. Well, we're going to try guys, we'll see, but I mean, for me, half the folks, to be for my son to come there and enjoy jolly old Robert Englunds. You know what? The thing, guys, I want to share with you on the homebrew, there's another insanity thing happening, but I have a guy bringing his homebrew game, and he's coming from France. It's called The Invaders. Oh, that's a great game. Yeah, it's the one with the gun. Have you seen it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah I mean we never seen it here in the States so that game will be on display at the show I mean for him to make the effort to bring that game here to the U that pretty wild Yeah that a game that you definitely seeing Yeah Great. Well, thank you very much indeed, Rob. Thank you, guys. And I thank you for your – both of you guys for doing such a wonderful job, not only with the publication, but allowing me to be on your show. Always a pleasure, Rob. And to be so involved with the Expo, I mean, we can never thank you enough. So I also want to put the word out to anyone that's listening to this. Yes, bring candy for Bridget, but also bring candy, cookies, cake, and ice cream, and any sandwiches for Martin and Jonathan. So they deserve it, maybe even more so, guys. You're too kind. Well, anyway, we are looking forward to it. And I'm sure you are, and I'm sure everybody who's coming is also. Can't wait for it to start. All right, guys. Safe travels, and thank you for reaching out. Thanks. Thank you, Rob. All the best. Bye. Bye-bye. Well, many thanks, Rob, for telling us all about Pinball Expo. And, of course, we will be there and reporting from the show and bringing you all the coverage of the seminars and, well, obviously, everything that's going on over at Schomburg in less than two weeks' time now. so just about 10 days so we have a very busy month and we will no doubt be hearing lots of news that we will be reporting to you in the October 2025 pin cast at the end of October and if you can't wait that long make sure to keep an eye on Martin's website pinballnews.com as he will be, well Martin and I will both be reporting on our respective websites. Also, the Pinball Magazine website will be reporting on Pinball Expo. But Martin will be hosting all these seminars, which we will be recording together. Yeah, hopefully. If all goes well. It's always a bit of an unknown, but we always try, and we haven't failed yet. And it might not happen, they might not be available immediately we're not streaming live and it might take even a couple of days before they will be uploaded because it takes a lot of time every time yeah I mean what we try and do what I tried to do last time was to upload everything overnight after the days seminars are finished but in some cases seminars don't finish until like midnight and then the next one starts at 8 o'clock or 9 o'clock in the morning and it just doesn't give us an awful lot of time to upload depending on the internet speed. So we'll do our best, but yeah, they'll all be available eventually on the Pinball News videos YouTube channel, on the Pinball News report and a huge thanks to Jonathan in advance for all his assistance in helping that happen. Yeah, well, I'll see what I can do. And I hope it's all real now. Yeah, exactly. Then, moving on, well, there's quite a list of companies that we have some news of. So, we're already running late, but it shouldn't be that much longer before we finish the whole episode. Multimorphic in Round Rock, Texas have started production of Portal, the latest game kit for the P3 pinball platform. And they're also shipping. So that's good news I also noticed And I'm not sure whether you noticed Martin, but The Final I forgot the name of the game Final Resistance Soundtrack By Scott Danesi Is available on cassette Oh, good And you can order it On Scott Danesi's website I think that's denisidesign.com, and then that's easily found. So I figured I'd mention that as well. Good point. And you had some notes about a new minigame for the Heist playfield. Yes, it's called Nexus NezX City. N-E-Z-E-X City. It's a minigame produced by Deluxia Studios for the P3, as you said, the Heist playfield module. it's been streamed by Buffalo Pinball, who had a good session playing it, and I'd say it looks like a pretty cool game. And being a mini-game, it's easily downloadable through the interface in the P3 itself, and the cost is a mere $179, and I think it'd be money very well spent if you had the Heist playfield, and Heist itself, of course, excellent game, but this even extends it further gives you extra value to buying that playfield module or a P3 game yeah that's right and if you go to the Multimorphic website go to their web store there and look at third party games there's quite detailed gameplay notes from the company Deluxe Studios about how the game operates and as you will see it's quite an involved storyline and well worth playing, I'd say. And anyway, check out the gameplay video on Buffalo Pinball as well and make your own mind up. But yeah, it's something like the 27th game that's available now for the P3 platform. Right. It keeps on growing. It will only keep growing, I think, yeah. So, okay, then, well, more local to me, Dutch Pinball, or should we say Dutch Pinball Exclusive, well, not much news. They are, of course, building Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, despite some delays in supply chain and what have you. But those games are shipping. Melvin, of Dutch Pinball Exclusive, Melvin Brower Williams that is will be hosting a seminar at Pinball Expo, there it is again about what we can expect next from Dutch Pinball Exclusive and the way that's written I make of that that he's not going to be talking about what's next from Dutch Pinball, which are two different brands Indeed, yes That'll be for Barry to announce I guess in due course. Yeah. Okay. That's all the news I got from Dutch Pinball. Yeah. Yeah, so let's move on to Spooky Pinball who are next on our list for no obvious reason other than the fact that they are next on our list and obviously building Evil Dead games and doing very, very nicely with those. They're obviously limited in the number of games they're going to make to 888. Yeah, they're all very stupid decisions. Well, in hindsight... I've heard people say they could have sold 2,000 of those. Yes. It's such a good game. Yeah. Well, a whole container of those games is on its way to Australia, probably right now. It wouldn't have arrived yet because it was going via ship. But, yes, so I guess that's about 33 or 36 games normally. But these have got, might have toppers, so that may reduce the amount you can get into a container. Well, they're on the top. It's usually space unused anyway, so... Well, I sometimes put games on top as well, even though you're not meant to. We've certainly seen containers arrive with games stacked across the top of the other games. Anyway, there is a container of them heading to Australia, so a popular title down there as well. In the meantime, they've been... because they're obviously all sold already, so they don't need to do any marketing for that game. and so they have moved on to doing a few teases about what their next game title might be. I think there's a general suspicion that it's going to be Beetlejuice, is that right? Yeah. Yeah, I think so. That's being rumoured and whispered and what have you. Yeah, no confirmation about that, of course, yet, but we expect it to be announced before the end of the year, at least. which gives them a couple of months or so to do that. In the meantime, they, of course, already have quite a good pack catalogue of games. And October for Spooky Pinball means Shocktober. Ooh! Yeah, which means basically every Friday in October they announce a new code release. Or one of their back catalogue games. Yes, that's right. Or a current one, indeed. in fact the first one that they've announced is in fact Evil Dead that's that will be released this Friday on the 3rd 3rd of October and there will be one on each Friday and fortunately for us and maybe unfortunately for Spooky there are five Fridays this October so we're going to get five different games are going to get new code announced so if you have a Spooky game it's better check every Friday to see whether There's a new code for yours. Right. And there was a new factory tour video on Spooky's socials. Did you see it? I watched some of it, yeah. Was that the one where they visited all the buildings where they started out and moved on to and then moved on to and moved on to? Oh, I didn't watch that much. Okay. So, well. Well, if you're interested. I haven't watched it yet, anyway. Yes. So if you're interested in a spooky factory tour for about half an hour, then check it out on Spooky Pinball social media. Yep. And write it up for Spooky Pinball. Okay. I assume you'll be seeing them at Pinball Expo. Not sure whether they will have a booth. I understood Buck will be there at least one day. They had one last year, so I think they will be there. Yeah, I would expect them to be. There was a number of years when they weren't. They used to support the Midwest Gaming Classic more, but it was being more local to them. But no, since the last couple of years, they've certainly been big supporters of Pinball Expo, so we expect to see a good stand there. Yeah. Okay, back to Europe. Pinball Brothers in Sweden, to be more precise, with their games being built in Italy to keep it complex, Predator games are On the line and being Shipped, containers or Trucks, full of games have been Shipping out Games and the game Will be at Pimble Expo which is great so I can have a chance to play it Yes it's Pimble Brothers USA I think Are actually the company Which is supplying the games or selling the games at Expo because that's their US offshoot, which I guess means that those games will be priced because they've been sold by Pinwall Brothers USA won't have any import tariffs over and above the price that you see. Which is good. But we won't get into tariffs again because we've spent far too long talking about those at the moment and I don't think anything's changed in the past. At this point, I do not know whether Daniel Jensen and other management from Sweden will be at Pimble Expo, because they could have local staff that takes care of that, so they don't have to travel. Personally, I hope they will be there, but that remains to be seen. I know they were there last year with the EVA game and the EVA tournament and so on. Oh, yeah. They had a big stand there. Yeah. So, looking forward to it. Hoping that they will be there and looking forward to seeing them again. Yeah. In the meantime, if you're wondering, if you haven't played Predator yet and you still don't know exactly how to play the game, there is a new gameplay video well, new-ish anyway in the month that involves the top player Arvid Flygar who's a well, he's a great player and he really does go through the game in some depth, showing you how to play it and the best strategy to adopt so a very interesting watch, quite long but that tends to happen when you have a top player on a game so yeah check that out if you want to see Predator before you get to play it yourself and pick up some tips on what you should be doing. Right, okay then back to the US it is, Texas again, Houston to be precise, barrels of fun well obviously building June which is getting more and more great reviews I have to say. I see a lot of people are pleasantly surprised with what the game has to offer once they have been able to play it. Yeah, I think it's probably a little bit of a slow burner in some ways, in that people don't necessarily immediately warm to the license if they're not huge fans of the movies. But, I think, as you say, once you've played it, then this is also coming back to me a bit like Elton John, really. people weren't necessarily fans of the music when they played the game and then suddenly they are fans of the Elton John game so the same thing seems to be happening with Dune people are playing it and really starting to love the gameplay and getting into the storyline and learning what it is they may not even know what all these particular scenes and characters and objects in the game are but it's not any news of course is there any news? Well, yes, I was talking about the objects that are in the game. Well, there are a couple of add-ons that are now available to the Dune game, which can be purchased from Barrels of Fun, all their distributors. You can get a set of them, which consists of the Chris Knife shooter rod, which I think we've spoken about before, but that is now available. And there's also a whole new set of slingshot and outlaying sculpts. which basically turn them from flat plastics into sculpted plastics. Pretty neat, you mean. Yeah, that's right, yeah. So those are available as a kit. I don't think they're necessarily available separately, but they are available now. So head on over to Barrels of Fun and collectfun.com is the website with a K for collect, and take a look for yourself. Right, okay. that's all the news we get from Barrels of Fun moving up there's Jersey Jack Pimple who are of course busy building Harry Potter and yes I've seen they've been promoting a video of the Mina Lima store in London and the arrival of the Harry Potter game the collector's edition there but I don't think that's a new video because I think I've seen that before but either way if you haven't seen it then take a look at Josie Jack's either their website, socials or YouTube channel and you can see interviews with the MinaLena team talking about the creation of the artwork for the Harry Potter game if you have seen that but you still want to know more about how Harry Potter was made, then going back again to Pinball Expo on Friday currently at about 7.30pm is the current scheduled time for that where you can, there's the making of Harry Potter with the design team who will be telling you all about it and answering your questions for those who are in the room Eric Meunier and well, the rest of the team yeah, I'm sure there will be lots of questions to ask about that particular game yeah I think that's about it though for Jersey Jack I don't think we have any other news from the moment because I think we're some way off getting any new games to be released and just doing very very well with Harry Potter so good luck to them yeah so lots of time for the design teams of the upcoming games to go in-depth, you'd think. Anyway, not really much news from Pedretti Gaming. No. The only current rumor, so to speak, is their next remake, which might not be at Pinball Expo, but it's rumored to be another remake of Big Bang Bar. Yes, it's a never-released title by Capcom that was remade by Gene Cunningham's Illinois Pinball in around 2005. And, well, it's mostly the story behind the game that for a lot of people makes it a very attractive game. although I have to say I own one I still say it has the most beautiful cabinet art ever in Pinball Stanfukoka yeah and well we have no further details of course but we'll keep you posted as soon as we do know more yeah and for Pedretti they're currently building a Funhouse remakes And, oh, we're still waiting to see what will happen with the Ligabua game that they promoted. I do know they promoted it at another Ligabua concert in Italy with a bunch of games in the fansite area, whatever you call it. but oddly enough the game is not to be found on the Progetti website I mean it talks about whirlwind, it talks about funhouse remake but nothing about the Ligaboo again so I'm quite curious when that will go into production and I'm expecting some sort of marketing for it well judging by what Daniel was saying about Pinball Brothers and their Predator game, it sounded like the production schedule for Euro Pinball Corp was pretty much fully booked out for the whole of the rest of this year and into early 2026 with scheduled production so they're all going to be making fun houses they're going to make so many Predator machines I guess they'll be making some other, maybe some ABBA or maybe even some more Aliens before that license expires at the end of the year as well, along with Predator. So if I want to fit League of Boer games in there, they're probably not going to be made this year. So is it worth marketing a game that, well, in this business, of course it is. But I don't think that's a problem. The League of Boer games are scheduled as well. They could well be, yeah. Yeah, so I hear what you're saying, but we still might see them. Oh, well, anyways, for the Italian market. Yeah, we'll see them. Yeah. And then, surprise, surprise, new codes from American Pinball. Yeah, no new machines, and actually, surprise, most bigger surprises, haven't got another sale on. of very attractive prices on their existing stock. But no, no new games, no new sales, but new code, as you said. It's October, so I'm pretty sure by the end of this month, there will be another sale. Oh, Halloween specials? Yeah, Halloween, yeah. And then get into Thanksgiving deals. Black Friday, Cyber Monday. Dirty Tuesday, whatever. But no, getting back to the new code. Yeah, Legends of Valhalla. Yes, remember that? Yes, Riot Fimble co-production with American. Yes, that has a new code. Had four new songs added, two new skill shots, quite a few new service menu feature adjustments, some changes and some fixes to how some of the modes operate as well. So quite a significant update Not just a little bug fix So those of you who have a Legends of Valhalla Make sure you're running the newest one And if you don't have one, wait for another sale Yeah Always good prices I still have to say You mentioned sleeper games I think Legends of Valhalla Is definitely A sleeper game that deserves more recognition Because it's a great game Right, ok I've never really got that much into it But then I haven't replayed it enough I think And haven't played it with the new code And the next show's coming up This is your chance Well, yes Until the show starts After this you don't play anything more Yeah, probably head over to Interium And play it over there But the other software update Went to Galactic Tank Force Yes, remember that one? Yeah Another one that's got very good offers on whenever the sales come around. It has some new live-action video clips in there that were not included in the game up until now. Not a huge number, but a few. It has a new high-score table for Cow Saviour, so who doesn't want to be the one who saves the most cows? And some changes to the rules and quite a bunch of bug fixes as well. So that's Galactic Tank Force. Nice to see those games getting some love, which is well deserved because they're both good games. Yes. Then moving on to, well, back to Texas I would say. Turner Pimble in San Antonio, if I'm not mistaken. The production of Merlin's Arcade has begun. Well, that's good news. Yeah, and they are expecting to, well, it's a small team, of course, they are expecting to build four to six games a week. which is not bad I suppose for such a small team and they are also hosting weekly gameplay videos live on Wednesday evenings I believe so far mostly off Merlin's Arcade yeah which is of course the game they help them sell yeah sold out Ninja Eclipse so you don't need to market that but yes Merlin's Arcade Which I'm sure Will be getting Some new software As well Before too long But it still seems A great game It has not been Released yet So Yes There will be New software Coming up And I look forward To playing the game Again At What's that show Called again That's in a few weeks I'm not sure It's got pinball In the title I can't remember The rest of it The pinball show Probably Yeah right then moving on to from one Merlin to another very good what a segway that was Chicago Gaming is yes you better explain what it's actually segwaying into yeah it's building Medieval Methods remake the Merlin edition there it is which is on the line and shipping domestic orders for now but orders for international distributors have opened up so if you're in Europe or Australia or anywhere else in the world and a distributor then you're able to order at the Medieval Madness Merlin's Arcade Edition. No, the Merlin's Edition. But that won't be shipping until probably February of 2026 when this is going down. Definitely not this year. And they're also shipping the Cactus Canyon Remake Lime and Sheets Complete Upgrade Kit. Which are a lot smaller than full pinball machines, of course. A lot of those go on one pallet. It's a small line that is running simultaneously, and well, they're shipping those as well. So, if you want to expand your Cactus Canyon remake, now is your chance. Yeah, it looks like a worthwhile upgrade as well. Yes. Okay, talking about smaller things, which fit a lot on a pallet. Let's talk about Wonderland Amusement who are based in the US and in Hong Kong, which is Hong Kong where they do the manufacturing. They said that in their most latest update they are cutting the playfields for their Alice Goes to Wonderland game and they are running up to 20 CNC machines at a time cutting playfields in parallel and so each playfield takes about an hour to cut and the first batch of playfields is now in production and also in production is the artwork which they have shown some previews of and that was mainly cabinet artwork and saying it looked stunning of course and they have started reviewing the printed artwork components including the side panels and the art blades that go inside the cabinet. And apparently, we haven't heard any news about it, they were showing the game, showing the complete game, well, in its current state, anyway, at the LA Comic Con convention, where apparently in the West Hall. But they will be, of course, at Pinball Expo. Right. With the Alice game. So they were there last year with just a cabinet. and that was it, showing what they were going to be producing this year they should be back with what should be almost a production ready sample, or several samples remember this is an 80% game, an 80% sized game so things have scaled down a little bit, including the ball but the price is very very attractive, they're coming in at under $1000 US dollars, so I'm not sure if they're still available to go onto the Kickstarter and get some extra orders we mentioned last month that they had reopened late order ordering but go and check it out and if you haven't ordered one already only available in the US at the moment so not available for sales outside right ok well speaking of South of the US you're on fire tonight I do have my moments, yes. Hacks and Pinball in France, who you might remember for their Space Hunt pinball machine, which was at Pinball Expo last year, but that was just a game and not a team. Well, they will be, the team behind Hacks and Pinball, will actually present themselves at Pinball Expo for the first time, on the show floor and in a seminar. They will also be at the Dutch Pinball Open Expo in November. But they were there already last year. So, not a big surprise that they would be there. It's obviously the biggest show in Europe and much closer by. But the big news from Hexa Pinball is not so much that they are coming to Pinball Expo, but they launched a new app, I would call it. called Plunger without the E. So it's called Plunger with no E, which is basically something similar to, well, what Insider Connected is trying to do with Scorebit. Basically, you can register your scores of acceptable games, but the team felt like why would we keep this to ourselves if it services well the pinball community in general so to speak They made the app available for other manufacturers as well. I'm not sure whether there are any takers yet, but it's still an interesting development and I'm sure they will be discussing the plunger app in their seminar at Pinball Expo as well. It's not just the app of course, it's also all the back end side of it and saying they have an API which manufacturers can hook into so they can upload their scores and player details into a central database not just for Hexagames, but for anybody else who wishes to take advantage of it. It's an open invitation for other manufacturers. They say, why would you want to have a different app for every different manufacturer. You know, you want to have an entirely connected app, or you want to have a scorebit app, or you want to have another app for, you know, for whatever JJP ends up coming up with, and so on and so forth, and Turner and, you know, you name it. Yeah. So why not all hook into the same app? Now, I can't imagine Stern are going to do that, because they obviously spent a lot of time and money in developing their entirely connected. but maybe other manufacturers will want to do that. We've seen in the past with Jersey Jack and Scorbit how that didn't necessarily work out and rumour has it, shall we say, that Jersey Jack people are developing their own system. Right. Whether that's so far down the line that the plunger system has come too late for that, we don't know. But there'll be a lot of talk about it, to see whether other manufacturers want to get involved. If it makes it a lot easier for them to just put a little bit of code into their game and have instant online connectivity, then it's quite an attractive proposition. Right. And last but not least, from Hexapimble in France, they are working on their second title. Yes, we spoke about that in the past. Yeah, and that title is a licensed title, and the plan is that they will reveal at Pinball Expo, which I hear is in a week or two, which license they acquired for their second title. So that's going to be hopefully exciting news. Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion I know what it is, but I can't remember how I knew that. and whether I'm allowed to say anything about it, so I'd better not say anything. Okay, we're now going off the record. How long have we done it so far? Too long, I would say. Well, all good things was come to an end. But, no. Oh, well, that rounds it up for a heck of a bit more as well. Certainly does. It's been kind of a difficult episode. No, we have more. That's at least finished. Yes, so let's talk about Home Pin then. Because it's been an interesting month for them because they were taking part in the Melbourne Pin Fest show in Australia and remotely through their distributor. and they were offering up a Blues Brothers game as the main raffle prize. Right. Which was very generous. That raffle sold out, by the way. Oh, yeah. That's right, yes. So there was a maximum of 500 tickets to be sold at 20 Australian dollars each. So it raised a total of 10,000 Australian dollars for their charity. because the game was completely donated by Mike at Home Pin. Right, who was the president of the show as well. He was, yes. The winner didn't have a pinball, as it turned out, up until that point. So they had their game delivered straight to them after the show. And some people were saying that they actually had it set up in his home before some of the people at the show had packed away their games and gone home. So congratulations to the winner And I hope they get to enjoy their Blues Brothers And you know They might be Tempted to start contributing some ideas And some code To the open source nature of it Well speaking of that Homepin Mentions on their Social media That they added a factory reset Selection to the Blues Brothers Game software they even shared a QR code that you could scan that would take you to a certain website to download or whatever so you'll find it on the Homepin Factory Facebook page at least that's where I found it the reason for doing that it can happen because it's open source software that means anybody can try to interfere with what the game is doing, so to speak. It can happen that the game might start doing strange things if some adjustments are changed, which can lead to different problems, such as multiple balls being served, or the game is counting balls, drain balls not being recognized, and other ball-related counting issues. The best way to quickly resolve any difficult to pin down issues is to perform a factory reset. This results in the software being reset to a known state and any legitimate problems can be more easily tracked and identified for both software and hardware. Right. Okay. So, I'm surprised it wasn't in there. Yeah, I seem to remember mentioning about that before, but maybe it was planned and now it's been implemented. But yeah, it's an interesting thing when you have to open that up to the public who are doing their own code. Of course that would traditionally be something that's just kept inside the factory for internal testing. But yeah, okay, so it's made more obvious and available to game developers I suppose. So then, our good friend Andrew McBain, if I'm not mistaken, from Pimble Adventures in Canada. Yeah, you'd think there'd be a good opportunity there with tariffs and stuff to get that Elements game out there and in the public eye. But no news as far as I can see. I've checked their socials and I haven't seen any information at all. So, he did say he was going to take it slowly, but he's certainly living up to his word. He's taking it as slow as I'm taking Pinball Magazine number six. Ah, yes, about that. We'll come back to that in a year or so and see how it's going. However, somebody else who's taking it, well, appears to have been taking it slowly, is Bob Neis of Ramps Pinball. Right. he announced his road trip game a while ago and then it all went very, very quiet. Yeah, well, he even showed it at the Pimble at the Beach Festival in February of this year, which was in Florida, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, right. And since then we haven't heard much, But, what's the news? Well, he just posted recently, when people were asking what's happened about it, and he said, yes, we've been a bit quiet, but only because we've been working, we've been busy, loading up new features and fresh updates, and soon you'll see what we've been working on. Okay. Well, could it be that this could be a game that we might see in the homebrew section at Bimble Expo? Well, I don't think it's intended to be a homebrew. It's intended to go into Berlin, isn't it? That's what it's intended for, but as long as there's only one. Hmm, yes. Well, he's brewing it up in his garage. Well, yes, he certainly had games in the homebrew section before. Yes. So, yeah, maybe. Or maybe there'll be some ideas of what we'll see when the full game is revealed. Right. Well, either way, I'm looking forward to it. Yep. Somebody else who's making games in relatively small numbers is Vector Pinball in Australia. Yeah. who have done quite a few licensed titles, mostly around cars, I'd say. Yeah. But they have announced their next game is going to be based on the TV series Lost in Space. And it's going to be called Lost in Space, the Pinball Adventure. It's fully licensed from Irwin Allen, who apparently was the creator of Lost in Space. and this game spans the three seasons of the TV show and so far there's no indication of what the playfield looks like but Vector Pinball has shared some artwork or sample artwork of what they're planning to put into the game and it all looks very colourful and suitably Lost in Space-ish I'm not familiar with the TV series but only the later movie. But if you're a fan of the TV series, then you will no doubt recognise all the characters and all the actors and actresses who are in it. I recall that robot. I've never seen the show. Robbie the Robot. Yes, I know that much. But other than that, I can't really tell you anything other than what I've saw from the movie, which probably is a very poor representation of the three series of the TV show. Right. Oh, well. Then we have a few companies that have no news whatsoever. Oh, go on then. Well, so we have a couple of Spanish companies, Bitronic, SDR Pinball, and Quetzal Pinball as well, although I do hope Antonio of Quetzal will be at Expo again, because I'm very curious what he's working on. We might not have news, but we know there is something coming. Yes. We'll see if we can find out what's happened to that project. Right. And Cardona Pingo also had no news to report as far as we could figure out. And then it's time for other news. How's your cat doing? I have a cat? Well, that's news to me. I'd be like tell the dog that's under the table here he'll go a bit mad if he knows there's a cat around no so we've been talking a lot about Pinball Expo but of course there are plenty of other shows around the world and one of those which we both attend on a regular basis is the Texas Pinball Festival in March held in Frisco in Texas well that's coming up you know it's in March it's only a few, well, quite a few months away, but discounted passes for the Texas Pinball Festival are now on sale through the Texas Pinball Festival website, which is at TexasPinball.com and if you are definitely going then it's definitely worth buying a pre-order pass, because you can get a weekend adult pass for $85 instead of a regular $150 exactly, so So save us 30 bucks there. Also to warn that the Wizards and the Women's Tournament entries, which are always limited in number, they go on sale on October the 4th. So a couple of days' time. So don't miss out on that. And if you're after buying some of the 2026 Texas Pinball Festival merchandise, well, that will be available to purchase from the 1st of November. whether it will actually be available then. I don't know. It's probably for a collection at the show, but you'd better get in there early and snag yourself some TPF 2026 merchandise and see what the design is for this year. I think it's all about dragons, as far as I recall, for next year's show. So they're asking people to bring dragon-based games along. Well, there's not that many. Well, there aren't that many, but there are quite a few. So they're asking for the obvious Game of Thrones and the dragon game. Well, Dragonette comes to mind. Yes, very good. Shall we say The Hobbit then instead? And, of course, Dungeons and Dragons. Escape from the Lost World. The Lost World comes to mind. 4 million BC comes to mind. Or it's not dragons, it's dinosaurs. No, they're dinosaurs. Anyway, it's a dragon theme. So who were extinct first? The dragons or the dinosaurs? Well, that's something we'll have to come back to you on in another lifetime. Yes, so you've been doing some research and checking out a major auction of pinball art and memorabilia. Tell us more about that. Well, it turns out Planetary Pimble Supplies and Rick Barter, who runs that, teamed up with Heritage Auctions. and apparently over the years Planetary Film Supplies have acquired a lot of concept artwork, concept sketches, playfield sketches or ideas for games, drawings, well we don't say David Hankin drawings, but just ideas that at some point were taken either further or not taken any further and just stayed like that. And, well, that's quite a collection which will now be auctioned off. It's a huge auction. And there's artwork from games like Playboy, Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man, Indiana Jones, the Williams edition, Flash Gordon, Data East Total Recall, which was only a prototype. Captain Fantastic, two different games, Evil Nevo, The Six Million Dollar Man, Able, a lot of early 80s electronics, belly titles, so to speak. Granny and the Gators, lots of artwork and concept ideas in there, but also moulds for objects you find on the playfield so to speak, like the genie from Tales of the Arabian Knights, the ringmaster from Sir Swalter the lamb from Tales of the Arabian Knights I've seen, the dino from Flintstones is in there. All these molds where these plastic objects are, well, the plastic is poured into it and then it's heated up or whatever and it comes out as whatever you see on the playfield. Those molds are part of this auction as well, so I expect this to be a very expensive month for Pimble Museums who would like to add some of these memorabilia to their collection. Yes, looks like there's some really classic pieces in there. Now, whether these moulds are the only moulds or whether the company's had several of these moulds made because each one is only good for a certain number of mouldings and all they have to be replaced. So, it may not be the unique items, but they're certainly very, very interesting. We were looking at them, Jonathan and I were, and we were trying to work out exactly how you make these products because they all seem to have one little fill hole in them, which you then pour the plastic in and then, how do you get it out? You know, is it do they come apart? It didn't look like it. Can you pour out the plastic while it's still soft before it hardens. And it retains its shape. I suppose, but I'm not an expert on plastic and mouldings. No, I always thought they came in two halves, you see, and they cramped together. And then you just open it up and take out the object. But these didn't seem to work that way. But anyway, it'll be interesting to talk to some people who know about this object. And maybe we'll find some at an upcoming pinball show. Yeah, so anyway, if you're interested in following this auction, you have to go to ha.com, Heritage Auctions, but then shortened, ha.com. And, well, you have to search for it because it's not that easy to find. if you look for pinball you get different objects that aren't immediately part of that auction but if you search for 2025 November 5 pinball and arcade art Hollywood slash entertainment showcase auction hashtag 411 98 have you written that down I'll just remember it then you should be able to find it and And you can amaze yourself with all the different parts that are part of this giant auction. Any details regarding this auction? Billing begins on October 10th, but the actual auction date is November 5th. and there's a buyer's premium per lot 25% of the successful bid with a minimum of $49 per lot. Wow. That's very steep, I'd say. Mmm. Well, it's a high buyer's premium. It's a high minimum as well. Yeah. So, yeah, if you're paying anything less than $200 for an item, then you'll be hitting the minimum. but this is an online auction though, is it? Or is it actually physical? Actually I don't know I suppose it should be possible to bid online but Heritage Auctions are actually based in Dallas, Texas and the website does say the auction is held over there but it doesn't mean that you can't join online Oh no, definitely online but can you roll up in person and wave your bidding baton. I think so, yeah. Okay. So we're going to Texas. What was that? They should have waited a couple of months. It would be great tied with the Texas Pinball Festival. It would, yeah. Anyway, I suspect quite a lot of the bidding is online these days anyway. But as you say, You can probably expect some premium prices on some of these. But, you know. I guess that's what they're hoping for. I was still wondering, like, how come, I mean, Clement Harry Pimble is the licensor of the rights for the Belly and Williams catalogue, so to speak. I was wondering, but does that allow you to sell stuff? I mean, at some point your license expired, and what are you going to tell your licensor? like, hey, I sold all that stuff. I was entitled to do that. Well, I don't know whether any of this came as part of that or not. I couldn't figure it out either. So the thought crossed my mind that was when I was like, how? But I'm sure, well, they have been collecting, and it's not only Planetary, by the way, who are contributing items to this auction, but there's also a few smaller collectors that are offering some of the items in this auction. So, anyway. Oh, well, good luck bidding, I would say. Yes, we'll update you on next month's Fincast as to exactly how the prices are going. I'm assuming you can see the bidding. Yeah. so we can see whether things are going for outrageous prices or whether there's some good deals to be had. Right. In which case, we'll keep them to ourselves and we won't tell you about them. Well, not really. Depending on how you define good prices, I mean, if there's already a minimum fee of $49, that's going to be a cheap option, is it? No, absolutely not, no. But anyway, talking of good prices and buying things, Last month we talked to Roger Sharp, remember, in our What's Cooking With? Roger Sharp, yes. Yes. Have you tried his recipe, by the way? I haven't yet, no. No, it's all thanksgiving turkey stuffing, so I suppose you're up next month, or this month. When is it? well us vegans don't tend to stuff too many turkeys but it certainly sounded incredibly rich with all the butter that was going into that, I think it was a bit jaw dropping, I think I'd have to go for a slightly healthier version than that if you imagine what goes into that stuffing and that turkey so to speak it's amazing how thin rubber is I know, I expected it to be about £300 or something, if he has that every year. But anyway, we did talk to him about that, but one of the other things we spoke to him about was his line of branded Roger Sharp clothing, produced by Defiant Pinball. Right. Back then, only the T-shirts were available, but Roger did say that more items would be coming, and true to word, now there are Roger-branded caps, too. So there are three different versions. the snapback trucker featuring Roger's iconic moustache logo the classic dad cap for those classic dads nods to the golden age of the sharpshooter game and the flat bill snapback which sounds like a fish but is actually a hat has been inspired by Ellen's original art drawings of bringing bold style to the collection it says so those have been added to the Defiant Pinball range of Roger Sharp clothing, maybe more coming soon, keep an eye on it and go and see if you fancy wearing one of those either a t-shirt or a hat and having Roger Sharp on your head or your front Right And in other news Our good friend Ryan Claytor Oh, you do this one Yes, cartoonist and Professor Ryan Claytor, I remember him from Coin-Up Carnival and his books and lots of other work. Well, he has launched... And, yes, Mr Jones' watches. Yes, two of those. He has launched a Kickstarter campaign for his latest publication, which is called Annual Dispatch. It's a newspaper format compared to previous books that he's produced, and it looks back on his projects and the various projects he's been working on over the past 12 months. You might remember his One Bite at a Time book came out last year and looked back at his first 20 years of his Elephant Eater comic imprint. Well, now he's moving to a 12-month review of his work and producing it in a newspaper format and it includes, of course, several pinball-related projects such as the logo for the recent Papa 22 World Pinball Championship and a neon sign he also designed for Papa to help promote suicide awareness. And he is doing a tour, well, an online tour, I guess, but also in some places in person to promote the publication. As I said, it's a Kickstarter project, but as with One Bite at a Time, He will be doing almost daily appearances to answer questions and help promote the publication. You can go to the annualdispatch.com website, which actually just links at the moment to Kickstarter, where you can see all about it, the prices of the various rewards and the options available. and yes, that's right, he's doing this tour and it starts well, it actually starts today now, it starts the 2nd of October and his first stop on the tour is Pinball News where we have an article, we'll have an article yeah, it's not there yet but in about 5 hours time it will go live and you'll be able to read our article about annual dispatch Well, I won't be editing this until tomorrow morning, so it will be there by the time you hear this. Yeah, absolutely. Not only yet did we talk about annual dispatch, we'll talk about future projects, and there is news about the next edition of Coin-Op Carnival, which a lot of people have been waiting for, edition number two. Almost as keenly as we've been waiting for Pinball Magazine number six. Yeah. But not quite. Yeah. But Brian and Ryan will be at Pinball Expo too. as well, I should say, not PimpleExpo 2, but PimpleExpo 41, with a stand in the main hall and he's hosting a seminar on Saturday morning. It's about the new Pimple World Championship. Okay. So he's going to be a busy guy over the next month. Right. Okay. So, well, that rounds it up for all the news that we could gather from the pimple industry for the month of September in the first two days of October. Well, besides that, we're looking forward to welcoming you back for another episode at the beginning of next month. We're more even looking forward to seeing you in person at Pinball Expo. Yes, we'll be spending a lot of time in the seminar hall, which is in a new place now. where the tournaments were last year on the ground floor and that's where the seminars are going to be for Pinwall Expo this year so we've got a new room and a new layout and some new things to deal with there but we're looking forward to that it's a large room yeah, so please come in, say hello we'd be happy to see you there and hope you have a wonderful time at Pinwall Expo anyway, in the meantime we will be back at the start of November with our next pin cast will we now we will we have to be I'm sure something will have happened in the month of October oh yeah yeah and we'll be we'll be covering we'll be making the news ourselves well we'll certainly be reporting it yes including all the excitement from that Pinball Expo show you may have heard about before so until then from me Martin Webb of Pinball News and me Jonathan Euston of Pinball Magazine we hope you have a truly outstanding October and we look forward to joining you again next month for the next edition of the Pinball Industry News Pincast bye for now bye bye now about that other extra pinball title oh yes what can I say about it that won't get me taken off Oh, man.
