Hey man, how's it going? Retro Randy? I'm gonna show Ralph. Are you here for me? They gave me this. Who gave it to you? The guy over at the Southern Pride Gaming Expo. I'm your driver for the weekend. Alright, cool. Let's go. Dude, the airport's huge. Let's go get a beer. Look at this. Games. Is this what you're looking for? No, no, no, no. The Southern Pride Gaming Expo is video games. But it's games. I got it, I got it. It's a game, though. No, no, I agree. It is definitely a game, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. Now, they told you where we were going, right? Like, it's a convention. There's video arcade. Videos? No, no, video, like, arcade games. I got a place. Come on. Okay, all right. Let's get a beer, though, while we're here. Okay, let's do it. How about this, huh? Okay. Video game. What are you doing right now? Like that. No, no, no, you're not. No, no, no, no. All time high score. No, it's not. Can we please go to the expo now? And this is more my speed. For the love of God, can we go to the expo, please? Hold on. Look, that was cool, and I appreciate you bringing me there, but we're supposed to be going to the expo. Are we heading there now? Not just yet. I got the place. Okay, all right. I know a place. Okay. So, we're going to the expo, right? Traffic kind of sucks right now, but I've got a place that we're going to stop at on the way. Okay, but I thought we were going to the expo. Like, that's where we're supposed to go. You know? Okay, Randy. Who the f*** is this guy? What'd you say, Randy? It's Ralph. You better shut the hell up, Randy. Could've been playing foosball. Goddamn traffic. Dude, this isn't the expo, this is like some guy's house. Whose house is this? What the hell? Here's your two dollars. Get over here! All right, I'm going into Stringer's basement right now. It's Basement Arcade. This is the view down the steps. It looks pretty legit. Looks pretty legit to me, but we'll see. Whoa, dude! This is so cool Oh crap Legit down here He guys base invaders on the wall and this is cool dude I love skee-ball, that's so cool. Where did you get this? Oh man, that looks so cool! I love these Data East caps. It has the rotary control. This looks like it's in really good shape. I like how you set up these one-ups right here. And you have good sticks in there. MK1 and 2. Nice. That's awesome. That's like a legit street light. Did you just rip that off? I stole that. They have 300 arcade games and pinball machines. Table games, retro games, retro games sales and all that stuff. So we're gonna definitely go in and check that out. and I'm with Stranger Films right there. Look at that. Inception. This is pretty awesome actually. In the console room they actually have a bunch of Japanese candy cabinets. The reason why these are so cool is because in Japan they sit down to play arcade games where we're used to standing up but these are kind of neat because they've become sort of you know as they you know are no longer in arcades although in Japan they still are. People will put these in their houses because they kind of are multi-game systems like you can put different arcade boards in them so in effect it's like a giant super gun because you can play anything you want on it. Most people put fighters in them so you can see like we've got You know, Street Fighter 2. You've got Marvel vs. Capcom. These are pretty cool and unique. Some of these I've never seen before. Like, I've never seen this one at all. I don't even know who manufactured that. It says Cruisin' Exotica on it, but that's... I don't know why it says that. He just walked into this room that's super freaking badass. So it's all vintage computer stuff. There's Tandy, there's PC, there's Commodore, there's clone builds. Oh my gosh, this is so cool in here. These are super cool, they're like little console models. Intellivision, Atari 2600. He's got all the computers too. What a neat thing. Who doesn't remember the flying toaster screensaver? That's awesome. This room is blowing my mind. This brings back crazy memories. I had this game, Hunt the Wampus. I used to love that game. This is crazy. Can you put that on really quick? I just want to see it. This game right here was like one of the first computer games I ever played. You're trying to find this Wampus guy, but he's trying to hunt you at the same time. I remember the arrows. So is there actually skill involved, or is it more of a game of chance? Did I just die? Green wall means you're approaching a slime pit. Yeah, I'm in a slime pit right now. I don't think I did very well. The wall fist got me. The wall fist got me. Oh my gosh, thank you so much. That was really fun. Yeah, I may come back. As I walk around here, there's a lot of really interesting stuff. They've got this little section where it's just kind of like a hangout area between some of the booths and stuff. And they've got cocktail cabinets, and they've got some pretty good ones. They got an Asteroids a Star Invaders I don even know what that is Oh, hey, what's up? This is totally normal. You can't see my hands and I'm all, hey, that's not allowed here. Whoever thought to put the controls on these down here, you look like you're doing something else, but hey, whatever. Star Invaders. It's like a ripoff of Galaxian. The ship looks very phallic, but it kind of goes with the territory. Moving on. They've got a ladybug. There's a centipede. There's some casino-ish game. They've got a Ms. Pac-Man here. They've got an archnoid, which is really cool. You can find these around, but I like it because it's got sort of the spinner control there. This is before my time. It's called Roy Clark the Entertainer. I've never seen this before. but it's like a sit-down pinball cocktail cabinet. It's really cool, but unfortunately it's broken. This is your tabletop pinball. It's your toy shock. It's a toy shock of its day. Yeah, pretty cool stuff. This is what I'm talking about. Check out the massive size and scale of this room. All of these arcade games and pinball machines that are in here are all on free play for you to enjoy. We gotta play some games, man. I heard there are two baby packs here. Two! Pinball part won't start. What a bummer. There's a Stranger Things pinball machine. Looks like there's a line for it now. They kind of set it up with some memorabilia from Stranger Things, which is pretty cool. How much do you think that Halloween pinball is? This would be probably scary to play by yourself, like, down in your basement. This is PinBot. It's a super popular, super famous pinball machine. All the pinball enthusiasts love it, but here's the sad reality. Is I've actually never played it. Let's see how it is. By the way, it's really hard for me to focus because my favorite pinball machine is right next to it, which is Terminator 2. So three drop targets, advances planets, flashing planet for special, okay? I can do that. I'm assuming those are the targets up there, unless I'm wrong. We're going to have to jump to Terminator 2. Touchman Day. to shoot down this ship right here. It's super badass. It's a really fun game. There a lot of intricacies to it The way you launch the ball is super cool It got like this almost like gun grip launcher It just a it a badass game man If I were to have one only one pinball machine this would be the one I would get. Still out. Did you hear Arnold? He just told me to chill out. Let's go. They're here. Lock sequence initiated. Target at determination. Get behind me if you want to live. What's up? Let's go. We've got an ant and one of the pre-pulls is in our mind. She holds no authority, so we're good. What are we doing here? I usually play this with a power glove, but I'll try. I'll try like this. All right. Oh, no. Oh, dude, this isn't looking good for me. You just beat me with Vega. You figured I'd do it three times in a row because I'm cheap, like, done. It's one to one, though. It's one to one. Come on. No, no. different game or one more? Alright, we're in a different game. Me and UAG part three. That went down too fast, man. I thought I was going to lose that one. No! Alright. I'm throwing in the towel. Throwing in the towel. That's it. So this guy that's here has a Sega Saturn setup, and he's got these taps on the ground where you can play up to ten players playing Bomberman. They're going to do this competition at 9.45 tonight, but We're just gonna play because it's open for free play. It's a ninja house? All right. This is so cool. I don't even know what guy. I know where I am. All right, I'm making progress here. No one mess with me. Taking home the gold. I love that you can play this many people. This is freaking awesome. Oh my God. Who's the cowboy person I was trying to take you out? Me! Oh, who did that? I'm not messing around. Where are you, UAG? You killed yourself. Oh, I know. You can walk into your own if you're not careful. Oh, no. I killed myself. I killed myself, too. I was doing so good. Did you win? Oh, damn it. Do you want to see something? This is the main event! It can't be a Southern Pride Gaming Expo without some Southern Pride Razzle! I think I'm going to be coming back here every year. What's up, boss? You still at the airport? No, I dropped that Randy prick off like ten minutes ago. Well, turn around. We got another one flying in. Great. Who is it? Hell, I don't know. Some fella named Zoltar. Zoltar? Yeah. Called himself the Cornhole Fanboy. Cornhole? Hey, don't start saying bullshit. I just took him to his hotel. Cornhole? I know a place.
