He has an animal sanctuary and zoo, and then there was this other lady in Florida, Carol Baskins. She also had an animal sanctuary. She wouldn't call it a zoo. It's a sanctuary. But all three of them exploit the shit out of tigers and lions and exotic animals, and all three of them hate each other. and i think doc was pretty cool with joe exotic but they both doc and joe hated that carol lady um but that it was no no not the carol lady that bitch carol that bitch carol that bitch carol baskins yeah she was dude the whole i mean is there even a plot you know there's a reason there's no plot because i feel like the documentary crew the documentary crew they thought they had a plot drew they thought they had it yes and they were going down this plot of oh tigers and and and raising tigers and the ethics behind it right and that show has nothing to do with tigers truly well i think it started that way no no it started that way it's kind of like um american chopper remember that one no i never really watched that one okay so american chopper you know i won't go into great detail but it simply put you know it was on the air for like seven eight years whatever it was they started off that documentary just making it about building motorcycles yeah it was a tv show right yes correct it was a reality show and it literally was there was no drama it was supposed to be about building custom bikes and for the first like almost year that's what it was and people are like oh this is cool these guys build bikes then it became about the family dynamic because you know the father was always yelling at the sons and vice versa and whatever this show is no different it starts off like you said like talking about you know tigers and how people keep them in the wild and some people don't agree with it and this and that but then i said tigers just get put on the table no one gives a shit about the tigers there's there's there's a clear there's multiple moments where the whole thing the whole series just takes a hard left or a hard right it's fucking phenomenal it's so crazy you can be sitting there and they can be talking about the ethics of tigers and then all of a sudden joe exotic would be like oh yeah that carol yeah she fed her husband to the to the tigers and you can hear the documentary guys going wait what you know like wait huh and then doc's like you know yeah dude she's got a missing husband and just vanished and we're pretty sure he fed her you know she fed them to the tigers and then all of a sudden the documentary takes like this crazy 90 degree turn and all of a sudden we're here fucking talking about missing persons and we got detectives involved and we got all these murder uh well and then the other layer to that is there's the other tiger keepers on like you know in different areas the one guy's like a polygamist and he has like four wives well doc is yeah yeah doc antler yeah antler antler yeah that's it yeah yeah he's got like the sex cult going on yeah yeah he he he starts grooming these young women he's like oh you're you want to be an intern sure you're an intern uh interns have sex with me yeah they're like what they live they live here and uh i give them breast implants yeah it's fucking crazy and he said it for the tigers so nonchalantly like here's the thing not only you know am i a decent human being and i wouldn't even do that like i couldn't even say that out loud i mean it's just it's fucking crazy hey i was just listening to this like nope hey hey blow me for the tigers you gotta do it for the tigers yeah yeah get these breast implants do it do it for the tigers and these chicks are like okay oh my god what is happening you're watching this you're like what is happening it's so fucked and so great and then like the last three episodes they introduced like all these like sleazebag people in case like we weren't dealing with already sleazebag people like you got even sleazier it's not bad enough how about these people holy shit dude it was it's the memes alone the memes are so good because They point out shit that you saw, but there was so much other crazy shit that was going on that you didn't even – you didn't really think much of it. Until we're deemed normal again. so I don't know how long it's going to last but yeah they got my ass in the store busting butt and trying to just basically I'm just a glorified I'm a credit card I just buy lunch every day for all the employees so it's been a long couple weeks for sure to say the least but spare time I'm watching I just started watching Lego Masters I think it's on oh that's cool too I watched four or five episodes very neat Hulu right Hulu yeah Hulu Yeah, it's on Hulu. Only watched the first episode, but I'm hooked. I can't wait to start. I'll probably binge it this weekend, though, with my wife, because she got into it, too. But we like all those reality shows.

I like to talk about Air Force One and how they protect it and how they have like two of the same aircraft you know it pretty cool and the fort knox one is neat because they like you know they let a bunch of reporters in there like i don't know back in the 70s i think yeah and they were able to see like some of the gold but people are like there wasn't that much gold so maybe they're lying about how much gold we have yeah you know it's just it's just the whole thing but uh pretty pretty interesting because they they actually talk about the security of fort knox and how it's set up and it's just really cool so another neat one to check out all right so we did ask um our tribe members what we should talk about on a fucking friday and they gave us a good list so let's just how king was number one let's just power through this list real quick and um so here we go all right so okay so uh jonathan hall wanted to see uh we had any arcade repair stories arcade fines repair jobs etc that's a good question john it's a lot of them uh the first thing that i the one that i will always remember was going to green bay to pick up operation wolf um drew wanted to fix up a game so we thought operation wolf would be a perfect candidate because it's a cool game you know who doesn't like operation wolf back in that day in the air it's an awesome game if it works well here's the reason why nobody wants to fix that game up the boards were made like shit the cabinet was made out of that mdf that just soaked up any kind of moisture so the cabinet was shit uh the gun was faulty most of them are um they use a really terrible monitor in there i don't have i've never seen a monitor like that to be honest um it was hard to even get to the monitor because the cabinets again shit drew bought a second operation wolf thinking that it would be easy to just swap parts in and out of both of them well what he ended up having were two operation wolves that didn't work yeah that was not great and you don't know it until like that when the artwork's nice that works nice but when the cabinet's bullshit and you don't realize it behind that artwork oh well and it worked for a while and i was having like intermittent sound issues and just different things and yeah yeah we were just like fuck this and then uh drew you fixed up turbo i did turbo Turbo was cool. Yeah, Sega Turbo. Sega Turbo was neat. Yep, that was cool.

I went to Troy Smith's warehouse. That was a pretty cool time because I got to see a warehouse full of games, like fucking just on top of each other, arcade machines. And I bought a couple Outruns that day in hopes of combining them to make one Super Outrun, which I did, and that Outrun was awesome.

Yeah, the arcade stuff just – the problem with arcade games is there's just such a short life on them. You find a game that's pretty cool, but you get sick of it quickly. Am I right, Drew? Oh, totally. There are three or four games that I want when I get a bigger house, but that's it. I mean, like you said, you play them, they're not as much fun as you remember. Right. And anything in the 90s and 2000s is basically, you know, insert another quarter to continue. So there isn't really a high score to chase anymore, you know. That whole high score thing is kind of done the second they had a quarter to continue. But with that being said, a couple of, like, cabarets of, like, Dig Dug or Pac-Man, that would be cool. But, you know, you need room. That's the problem for me right now at least. Yeah, yeah. They do take up quite a bit of a footprint. I wouldn't mind like one of those arcade one-up Star Wars games. Yeah. That looks really, really pretty cool.

Ian was the first call, and he got it, and I helped him pick it up. And then I sold it right away because it's a bullshit game. Yeah, it's not a great game. It's not a great game. It's not a bad game, but it's like one of those games, once you beat it, you're like, well, what else do I do with it? so um yeah fines and deals though i don't really know if i had any really like crazy fines oh um i did find i did score a oh what the hell was it it was a uh super punch out one of those cool nintendo caps with two monitors the double monitors on top of each other uh somebody's basement got it for 200 bucks barely worked had i had to do a lot of work to it but uh ended up selling it for quite a bit quite a bit it was uh it was a good it was a it was very lucrative for me so um pinball wise same kind of thing i got a free pinball machine it was the uh space invaders pinball machine um that was in somebody's garage they didn't want it anymore so they gave it to me that was a cool one yeah it was a cool find um and deal uh trying to think all the you know the the best thing about arcade collecting and pinball collecting is meeting the people that's always been the best part so you get to see like-minded people you get to see their collection everyone's super proud of their collection especially in the arcade world uh who was that one guy in green bay drew that oh brad bradley check bradley check so this guy freaking just like lives the american dream you know he's got the pretty girlfriend and her wife and goes to Vegas all the time, go to his basement. He's got nothing but like the most rarest arcade games. Um, pretty sure he didn't have a job restored a hundred percent. These aren't like beat up games. These are all nice. Yeah. Beautiful games. Drew, what do you got, buddy? I sliced my finger open pretty good last week, and it's almost healed now. but nothing too bad. I mean, it's just, you know, normal cutting myself, I guess. Yeah, you do that quite a bit, actually.

I'd say the dumbest thing I've ever done to a pin, and it was so funny, when I was taking the Mylar off of the Space Invaders, my issue with it was the Mylar was cracked and peeling in a lot of different places and it was yellow and it was brittle, so it had to go. It just had to go. and uh so removing it was super simple i did the upside down freeze can thing you know this the the air the compressed air um you hold it upside down and then it literally freezes the mylar and it just comes right off it's beautiful but it leaves a glue residue so i was on online i was on youtube and i forgot who it was but he was telling us telling me the easiest way to remove glue was taking these plastic razor blades and taking a little bit of goo gone and just gently wiping it on the artwork where the glue is and then taking that razor blade and just kind of scrape that glue off you know it's supposed to loosen the glue up and you can just scrape it right off and wipe it off so i said oh well that's super simple i got the same exact goof off he did you know and i got the same damn razor blades he did i get down here in the basement i take a little artist brush very light brush i dab it into the goo gone in a little cap and i gently brush it on the playfield and then i go to my plastic razor blade i go to scrape off the the glue that's dissolving all i took off was like fucking artwork like it's just all art i was like son of a bitch you know removing all that artwork just like god damn it that sucked that's stupid you know i was like well i'm not doing this anymore and then i proceeded to spill the cap um which was awesome too but i was able to wipe it up gently without ruining the artwork but yeah dude it was fucking disaster dude never do that again uh with laser war what did i do i used the the flower method where you just uh a little bit of alcohol a little bit of flour and you just knead it with your hands and you rub it all into little balls and yeah wipe it up it's easy do it that way it's messy but it's easy easy peasy awesome all right uh personal top five pins of all time you want to do that one drew and then we'll be done oh yeah that's a good one all right top five all time all time um you want to start with number five i'll go five then four four three two two one one all right so top five let's do it real in an impromptu top five top five drew what's number five for you brother number five uh stern star trek great shooter great fun pro premium doesn't matter it's a good game yeah it's awesome can't can't go wrong with that my updated attack from mars attack from mars huh well it's like an updated attack from mars oh yeah for sure for sure uh my number five i'll just go oktoberfest because what the hell i've been talking about it so much might as well stick with it um sure fun game lots of cool modes i dig the drinking theme um fit well in my basement if i ever get it and uh i have not gotten sick of it yet and i look forward to playing it every time i sit on location so cool octoberfest uh number four for me is attack for mars oh okay uh great game uh never gets old someday i would like to own one um you know it's not the best game of all time but it is a solid game and it's fun to play all right uh my number four is twilight zone um can't get more packed then a twilight zone uh we had one in our local uh bar here for a little bit and i had a ton of fun on that game um i would be blessed to have one in working condition that was shopped out and beautiful like if you have one that's not great uh do me a favor and spend that extra money and try to get it chopped out and make it look as beautiful as you can because those games are awesome so twilight zone number four uh number three for me is it was my favorite game it's still a great game up there is metallica um it's kind of jumped down a few spots just because there's so much other good stuff out there but metallica is my number three because it's still an awesome game yeah i went i went kind of uh the same way of thinking drew my number three used to me my favorite game it was all i ever wanted um my my history with it quick is that i went to uh an early midwest gaming classic and i saw pinball machines there and i was like holy shit pinball i haven't played any of these games and i was really into the arcade scene at the time so i wasn't real into the pinball stuff but there was one game that just had me hooked and i thought it was the most beautiful thing i ever saw but it was two thousand dollars i thought who had two thousand dollars to It's been on a pinball machine. And that was a creature from the Black Lagoon. And boy, I wish I would have bought that.

You should have bought three of them. It was so beautiful. It was shiny. The blacks were so black. The purples were so purple. I loved the call-outs on it. I dug everything about it out. And that was even before I was a huge fan of Creature from the Black Lagoon movies, which I later became a huge fan of. So, yeah, it made sense. Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Number two. Number two is tough for me. It was a toss-up, but Willy Wonka's got to get it. Oh, okay. Great shooter, great game. Might want to own that someday as well. Gotcha. Can't go wrong. Yeah, my number two, Attack from Mars, for the same reasons Drew said. It's just it never gets old. You can keep playing that game. I put too many games on it, and I still want to play it. And the reason why it's number two and not number one is because, man, it's so frustrating. When you have a bad game, you have a really shit game on that game. It's true. It's whatever. That ball is cursed. I hate it. But the game itself, I love the call-outs. It's probably my most – and the light show. But the call-outs, they're my favorite call-outs. That's why I like it more than Medieval Madness.

So number two, Attack from Mars. Awesome. Number one, Jurassic Park Stern Premium. I own it. I love it. Can't get enough of it. He wants to have its babies, kids. It is the greatest game so far. May that change? Sure. But right now, Jurassic Park Stern is where it's at. Beautiful. my number one weird number one but it's the game i'm kind of obsessed with and i would love one um and i played it for the first time at pinball expo and that would be taxi what the hell might as well make that number one because it's weird it's fun it shoots like a dream it's interesting it's got a good layout and uh i like the call outs so um that's also on my radar of games we We need to get a taxi. Either you or me, we need to get one. We're not going to break the bank on one.
