Hey guys, welcome back. So today we're going to do something a little different only because I just got back from my honeymoon, which was awesome by the way. But I thought today we'd do something where we talk about games that I want and also you share with me games that you want. So these are arcade games that I haven't come across yet, but when I do, I really want to try to buy them. So the first one on that list is NARC. So NARC was a great Williams game. Side-scrolling beat-em-up, super innovative at the time. It had the digitized graphics. It was really cool where they took like full motion video characters. It's a really neat game. A little controversial because you're trying to basically either capture bad guys or, you know, destroy them with a rocket launcher, right? They're all pretty much drug dealers, junkies and whatnot. But it was just a really fun game. Mindless entertainment. Super, super fun. The cabinet sort of looked like, kind of looked like a microwave in a way, right? It had like, I almost feel like you could open it up like a microwave on top. It was kind of a weird design, but I never see NARC cabinets. I don't know why. I never see them, and I would love to buy one. I've seen a couple at auction, and I've lost them because they've just been a little too rich for my blood. So, the next one on this list is the Sega Megatech. This one isn't as popular, but it was basically an arcade machine based on the Sega Genesis platform. Really cool. In the inside, it actually had things that sort of looked like... I don't know if they were exactly Sega Genesis carts. I don't know if you could take a Sega Genesis cart and put it in it. I think they were slightly different. I don't know everything about it. But I remember playing on one as a kid, and you want to know what game was on it? Streets of Rage 2. So if you look around, you can find the ROMs for the Sega Megatech Streets of Rage 2, but I would love to have that cabinet just because I'm such a big Sega Genesis fan. But again, I never see that cabinet. I've never seen it at auction. I've never really seen it in person other than that last time that I saw it as a kid. So if anybody knows where I can find a Sega Megatech, let me know. I would definitely be interested in that. Another cabinet that I've been trying to find but cannot locate... Well, actually I found one, but the guy won't sell it to me yet. Yet. I really want a Nintendo Red 10 and I happen to know a buddy of mine Nick who has a Nintendo Red 10 So let go to Nick really quick and hear a little story about how he got his Nintendo Red 10 and you know why he got it in general Alright over to you Nick Thanks, Ralph. Hey, everyone. I want to tell you the story about how Manny and I got the Red 10. So last week we celebrated an anniversary and we got this for each other for our anniversary. Now, we found this in North Dakota. Real long drive, 16-hour round trip, but we just love it. It's totally worth it. It's got two monitors and it plays two different games. This one actually came with Castlevania and the Goonies. And it's really easy to swap out the games. Let me show you. You open up the lid and here's your board. And a board holds two games on each side. You can see the two JAMA harnesses. So you have options where you can actually take the board out, switch out the ROMs, or you can find multiple boards and just switch the boards out. Mandy and I already have Super Mario Brothers on the way. Hope you liked the red tent, and back to you, Ralph. Thanks so much, Nick, for sharing that. I really do appreciate it. So why do I want a Nintendo red tent? Okay, it's really cool, first of all. It's a cocktail cabinet, sort of. I guess I would call it a cocktail cabinet, and it has the ability to play games on both sides, and you can actually have two different games loaded to it. So it's really neat. It also has a base where you can sort of play it standing up or sitting down, so I think that's really neat. When I do see them, they're often pretty beat up, and they need restoration, but the thing is, I haven't really seen one in a while. I saw one that someone converted to a Street Fighter 2 head-to-head. It's a Nintendo cabinet. I love Street Fighter 2, don't get me wrong, but you shouldn't do that to a Nintendo cabinet, okay? It's just, that's not okay with me. So we're good. If I do end up buying that one, and you know who you are that you have that. He didn't do that to the cabinet, by the way, but he knows who he is, and I'm coming for that. I'm coming for that red tent. Anyways, it's David down in Tucson, who was in Arcade James Piekarz episode 2. I love David. He's a great guy. But I don't know if I can convince him to sell it to me. We'll see. We'll see about that. So what other games? What other games do I want? Another game that I want to have in the collection so bad is Daytona USA. Everyone wants Daytona USA. Why? Because it's a super iconic driving title. It awesome It came in a large side with a huge gigantic marquee on top But it also came in a stand Now I know a lot of people don necessarily love stand racing cabinets I would go the stand-up route just because of space concerns. I could easily fit that into my game room and... Hi, neighbor. And, you know, it would be cool to have. The other game that's a must-have in the collection is Baby Pack. It's the integration of arcade games and pinball. It's really cool. It's super iconic. It's difficult as all hell. The AI in that game is brutal, but it's just so much fun. I played it for the first time down at David's in Tucson, and then I got to play it again at Arcade Hollywood's house for Chasing Nostalgia. So if you haven't seen Chasing Nostalgia, definitely check it out, because Jeff Arcade Hollywood has an amazing collection of 80s games. Truly an awesome collection. But that's one I just fell in love with. And honestly, I gotta give a shout out to Mark Twig. I didn't actually know much about this game. And Mark Twig was freaking out on this being one of his greatest of all time. Or goat. The cool guys say goat. It was one of his goats. And I was like, really? Baby Pack? And then when I played it, I remember texting him. I'm all, dude, Baby Pack is so where it's at. Thank you so much for introducing me to that game. Thumbs up to Mark Twig for the awesome suggestion. That's just a must have for my collection. I almost forgot about it. Now, this isn't a complete list of games I want. These are just ones that I want, like, right now. These are ones I'm really wanting right now. Another one that I love, love this game, super fun game, really, like, unique controls and everything is Smash TV. And when I think about Smash TV, I immediately think about the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Running Man. It just reminds me of that movie. It's like you're in this arena, and it's kind of like every man, you know, you're trying to survive, basically. It's just a really cool game with unique controls. and it's iconic it's one of those ones that I played a lot as a kid so I well it's probably not a kid actually I was probably more I don't know how old I would have been but that's definitely one that I want so I'm trying to see what else I put on my list for right now I think that's it for right now but there's so many more games that I want but again I'm space limited so I can only do what I can do but I curious what games do you want like what games are must games for you those are just some of my must There a lot more than that believe me And you know I have a lot of my must Like, Terminator 2 was one of the ones I had to have, and I thankfully got it from Captain's Auctions in really good shape. So that was one I just had to have it. I just went in. I just went in. I just spent $500. I just went in. I clicked it. I clicked it. $600 is my limit. This is my Zohar's MK. Watch it goes for $900. And you lost. It's going to go for $900. Do it, Thousand. Do it, do it. I'll match you. I will match you for this. You jerk. I clicked it. I clicked a thousand. No, that's you? That's me. That's you? Yeah. No way. Yes, yes. Are you serious? Yes, yes. No, no, this is not good. I'm not covering shipping. Oh, wait. Zohar, Zohar, you better. He better not be. Is she in here for real? Oh! Oh, shit! I still can't believe I got that Terminator 2. That was actually a wedding gift from Justin, believe it or not. So, Kim maybe wasn't the most excited about that. But anyway, this was just a sample list. This is a small list of games that are top of mind for me. They're really hard to find. So, if I did see them, I would definitely snag them up really quickly. if you know where I can find some of them, definitely let me know. So anyways, we will get back to the arcade restoration projects probably next week because I just got back from my honeymoon. So again, like I said, I kind of don't have as much time right now trying to get back into work and all that stuff. Kind of a drag, but not going to lie. If you enjoyed this video, give me a thumbs up. Consider subscribing to the channel. Put your comments below. What is the arcade game that's your GOAT, man? What's your GOAT? And that's it for now, and we will see you on the next one. you
