TL;DR

WAP celebrates Evil Dead's launch success and design excellence while critiquing its movie-sourced background music.

Summary

We Are Pinball hosts Don and Genghis celebrate Spooky Pinball's Evil Dead release, which has achieved impressive sales (650+ of 888 units sold within days). They extensively praise Christopher Franchi's artwork, the innovative slingshot flipper mechanic, layout design, lighting, and sound effects/callouts as exceptional. However, they debate the background music sourced from the film, with one host expressing serious concern that it undermines engagement compared to high-energy pinball-appropriate music, requesting an alternative audio package.

Oh, it's time for a walk. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Wait, that don't sound right for right now, Cengiz. For this episode, we need a party for this episode. It's a celebratory time. Let me grab another record here. All right, all right. Tell me if you know this song. Tell me you know this song. Let's get some pina coladas. Let's get on the beach, buddy. Me and you, Jengis, pinball on the beach, Evil Dead. Oh, yeah. Love it. Oh, Rupert Holmes bringing the escape. What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the era of Evil Dead, spooky, dominating the market, out of the gate, nearly sold out of this new game, and we barely even have seen the gameplay so far. Have you seen this, sir? Oh, yeah, baby. He just released a gameplay video and the gameplay is absolutely fantastic. So here in WAP episode 16, we need to talk about Evil Dead. We need to review it. We need to talk about shots and layout. We need to talk about the music, the art, everything. Just say congratulations to Spooky Pinball because as of right now, a few days later, the sales number are at what, Donnie? I got like 680-something sold or something. Wow. Groovy. So, yeah, there's 888 is the edition size, only collector's edition. Everything comes with at least a plastic topper, powder-coated, dripping top to bottom, packed with as many mechs as you can put in this damn thing. And when I go and look, if you want to order them, there's less than 230 left from the main website. So with sell-through and everything, they're at 6-something, 650-plus. I mean, in today's market, that's very, very impressive numbers, don't you think? Yeah. I mean, we saw Alice in Amsterdam sell out of 500. We saw Metallica LE sell out of their 500. And Spooky's, like, eclipsed even that now with this game, which is getting, like, great feedback and impressions from people. Oh, yeah. Have you seen anyone say anything negative about this game? I haven't. I haven't, which is rare because we are an opinionated bunch of jerks, man. Happy to point out everything. Picking apart the art. It's all coming together here, man. I mean, you know. If you like pina coladas. It's all gravy, man. It's all gravy. It's a groovy. Yeah. Groovy. Yeah, baby. So this game, Evil Dead. it came out. I think before we review this, our listener needs to know about you and I because of the theme. Because this is not John Wick. This is comedy, horror, splatter, blood stuff. So to the listener, I just want to say me personally, I grew up with action movies. You know, 80s Sly or Arnold or Jackie Chan. come on movies like that action comedy I love it sci-fi I love it but these slasher you know blood and killing humans I never watched movies like that that being said I have seen Evil Dead 1 and 2 in small clips years back but the third one in the series Army of Darkness I watched that 2-3 times I love it I love everything about it i love the humor it's so groovy so this is how i am donnie how about you do you like movies where there's people's heads off so i love horror right i love horror in music i love horror in halloween decorations haunted walkthroughs haunted houses like i love all that stuff i love the aesthetic the movies i don't really sit and watch horror movies you know like so it took me up until like a year ago till i finally watched halloween right and i owned the machine and like dug it i knew everything about Michael Myers culturally, but, like, I'd actually never seen the movie. I will say, you know, they've done Texas Chainsaw Massacre was their recent horror release. You know, they did Halloween, huge, you know, tentpole in horror. The difference with this one is the other ones, they all had silent protagonists, right? Michael Myers didn't speak at all, Leatherface hardly at all. You know, they were just these kind of menacing monsters. So the call-outs in those games were done by the family members. They were done by the inspector guy. But this game, you're playing as Ash, man, the central character in here. And the man doesn't shut up. The whole gameplay trailer is nothing but fast clips and quips. I love it. I mean, this game, if this game doesn't win call-outs of the year on any list, then that list is a crooked list because this is Ash Williams. He's got some good call-outs, man. So it's like it's this horror universe they created, But it's also like a mix of like comedy. Some insanity is in there. So like this is more than just a scary pin in the corner of your room. Although that topper is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen in person. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. But, Donnie, before we start, we made the Patreon. Yes. Finally, we made the Patreon list, and this is WAP episode 16. Cash money. We need to say last time we thanked Silvergun for joining ASAP. What an awesome dude. And we got Andrew Dwayne. Andrew, welcome to the team, buddy. Thank you for supporting us. We really, really appreciate it. Like 15 minutes after, we got Joe Binkowski. What a guy. Heck yeah. Joe, welcome to the team. So cool, man. Welcome to my barbecue anytime. 40 minutes later we got chris lorenzo chris yes dude so cool so thank you guys thank you for everybody that joins the patreon team it's so good we have got this chat in there but on top of that we have this we are pinball facebook group and don he made a open chat for all the members everything is free everything everybody can come in and join Everybody can be a member of that group. But I've got this messenger group in this Facebook page. Every morning when I wake up, oh, my God, everybody has been writing in there. Insane. American people from the U.K., everywhere. And, Donnie, there's so much action in there. I love it. I love it. I mean, we posted, are you going to get the evil debt? And all the messages, it's so cool. Dude, everybody's in on this game. I can't wait to talk about it. I can't wait to play it again, damn it. God, this game is fun. Yeah, man. You played it for some time ago. It's so cool. But, yeah, thank you for Patreon supporters. We really appreciate it. And if others will support us, we will be so, so happy. So it's so cool. Let's start with this game. The first thing we have to talk about with Evil Dead, we have seen the gameplay video. But before we do that, I want to just briefly go into art of this game. Usually I don't care about the sights But on this game Christopher Franchi masterpiece I need to I need to talk about the art I want to listen to what you think Because you have seen this game What do you think about the art Donny Yeah and I've listened to the interviews now That Christopher Franchi has done They're available on YouTube So when they showed this game off to me They didn't tell me what it was I was standing in front of a blank white door And they're like the new game is in here And they just open the door and then I'm greeted with the sight of this cabinet, right? Oh! And Evil Dead, and Bugs mentioned this, it's from the 70s, it takes place in the fall in the woods, everything is kind of brown, muted, earth tones. And when I saw this, at first, for a split second, I was like, is this freaking Beetlejuice? Because I saw blues and greens and purples, and it's all in there. And then I was like, oh my God, no, it's Evil Dead in the coolest definition of Ash's face I could imagine, right? It's like that Franchi. And then the thing is, though, like when he brought this art out, he used the color palette in such a way that there's like contrasting colors, like hot pinks and purples that are used to add like this warp, this tone overall to the images. So it's like the whole thing just works like on each side of the cabinet, on the damn play field, on the back glass. Like it's not just a dull drab, you know. Like I loved Halloween, but it was like it was nothing but fall leaves, you know. This is like it's like alive. I mean, mentioning Halloween, I actually like Halloween artwork also on the cabinet. But this is just next level. It's hard to compare this artwork with anything else out there. It's so freaking good. No matter where you look, and not even just good, this is just, when you look inside at the cabinet, you know, the sides of the cabinet, at the mirror blades, I said, it feels like you're in that cabin. You're in that cabin in the woods. It's so good. This is absolutely 10 out of 10. I'm so happy that Christopher Franchi, he's a full-time employee. What a catch, too, man. Now, like looking at this, if I didn't know it was Christopher Franchi, I would have thought that this was illustrated by Thomas Kinkade, the painter of light, man. Just because of the pops of the light that are in there, you know. Yeah, it looks astonishing. Yeah. And when I grade it with astonishing, then you know how good it is. So this game, the artwork is spotless. Let's say that. It's so cool. Yeah, and he did some work punching up Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I actually saw one of the original art treatments, and I saw after Franchi did his Franchification to it, and it's like he put those pops in there. He put that depth in there. And now this is just all ground up Mr. Franchi Franchi. I like this better than Elton John. I like it better than The Beatles. I like it better than Godfather. There's drama in the side of this. It's really good. I'm a huge fan of his work on Godfather. I unboxed the collector's edition. And liking the movies, Godfather was really amazing for me at the topper, on the side, everything. But this is next level. Just the color palette in this one. Ash's face with all the blood covered everything. I mean, wow. Christopher Franchi, wow, man. Really, really well done. You really deserve your payment there. It's so good. All right. So we agree. Art is just spotless, right? We love it. Good. Next thing we have to talk about is Shots and Layout. We just got this 18-minute long gameplay video. So this game, it's a fan layout. I mean, and fan layout, it's for the easier side. It's for the more average player. I don't think that fan layout is something that anyone will hate because it's very intriguing. It's easy to shoot. And this game has only two, three posts. Other than that, it has got shots everywhere. and he has got stand-up targets and drop-down targets. So it's a really feel-good shooter. What did you say? Of the nine shots that are here, that's not counting the Newton ball, there's only two posts, right? Three. Three posts. One, I got a post above the Vuck. I got a post on the left part of the left ramp. I don't see another post. I see stand-up targets. There's a post at the right ramp area also. The right ramp's got stand-ups, dude. let me just zoom in on the picture because I made on my YouTube channel I made a video where I saw two posts and then later on that video I saw the one on the at the scoop also there's one on the scoop there's one on the left ramp yeah shotgun shells my computer froze okay two three it doesn't matter it's okay it's okay but shots on layout yes i want everybody to check out the gameplay video i don't know how long in the video but when you make the the ram shot where the ball comes down to the right side and fells down at the right slingshot yeah buck he holds the upper right flipper up and he catches the ball up there you can hold the ball up there and release it so it comes down perfectly and then aim that upper right flipper and it's not only for the hand you can do the left orbit you can do the ramp you can do so much stuff with that upper right flipper and i was like when i saw this i was two things held me back from buying this game and the first thing was that slingshot flipper because how does it react when the left slingshot slings the ball to the right what happens does it bounce just straight down the middle does it bounce back to the left slingshot what happens and i'm telling you this works it looks great on the video so that upper right flipper great welcome what do you think about it oh god that thing was fun every time i used it now there's there's two buttons there's two flipper buttons on the right side and while there is a setting where you can put everything on just one button and it's stageable. Oh, you're sure about that? Yeah, that was in the extended behind-the-scenes rundown that I saw that I just watched this morning. But with it on that other flipper, right, because if they were both on the same flipper, when you go to flip from the right, there's going to be that sling flipper in your way often. In your way, yeah. So when I would shoot up that ramp and it would come down the wire form, you quickly switch over to that other button and boom, you catch it. And every time I did that – But, Donnie, not everybody has got the capacity in their brain to switch the finger down to the other. That's life. You have to. If you have it in your home, you can do this. But on a location – You've got to learn it. Yeah, but on location, it's good that you can just change it so one flipper controls both on the right. Yeah, well, people think of monkey flip anyway. But the cool thing is like once I like got used to it, all of a sudden like now I'm catching balls. like every time they hit that wire for him. And it was like, it was satisfying every time. Even in a multiball, you can like have a ball there but still be flipping your other ones, you know. So cool. It just works. I was like, oh my God, how is this slingshot going to react? But it works very, very fine. So that's a great welcome, man. Shots in this, those ram shots, they look so easy, so intriguing. I really like when he catches the ball with the right flipper, holds it up, and with the right flipper, he shoots the right ramp. I mean, he's doable from the right side, and he does it a couple of times because he needs to hit the white targets to activate a mode. And while he's doing that, you can hear Ash say, come on, hit the white targets, come on, start a mode. We all have to die someday. We can just die today. The call-outs of this game, don't get me started. It's so good. But shots on layout, I enjoyed it. What do you think of shots on layout? Yeah, it's fun. I mean, essentially they made a wide-body game to accommodate the double shooter lane on the right and all this real estate for the hand on the left. So the rest of it feels like a fast-shooting, fan-ish layout. I'll grant you that. There's a very satisfying orbit on the right side that goes all the way around. The left orbit shot, though, goes up this little elevated ledge that keeps the right orbit being a full orbit. The left orbit goes to this little 180 ramp that drops into this pop pumper nest that's hidden back there. It was fun. The ramps feel good. The cabin shot, a little bit tight. It's probably the tightest shot that's on there to go ahead and lock balls up there. That's the lock shot you mean, right? Yeah, yeah. Just to the right of the Newton ball. But, yeah, it's absolutely findable. Did not feel unfair. and honestly for me, most of the time I was playing, I was playing with the sling flipper and I'm loading the shotgun because that was just so much fun to keep doing that. What shot do you do for the magnet to grab it and give it to that Vuk that shoots the ball up? Is that the left orbit? It's the right orbit shot. That's the right orbit. Okay. I love everything with magnets. That's so satisfying for me. Yeah, and so when it grabs on the magnet, it drops down into the play field, into a Vuk, and then goes into that accessory wire form into the left wire form. So cool, man. And I think you can also get it by that shot just to the left of the Newton ball too where it goes around, drops right in there. One thing that really caught my eyes, the light show of this game is, first of all, the GI. The GI is so good. But on the video that we just got, I think it was an 18-minute long video, the play field was not lit up. I wrote about this on our, again, messenger group, and some people said that the video wasn't lit up that well. Okay, he's right, I understand. But I watched it on my big screen TV, and I just pumped up the brightness and contrast and everything. I could see everything that was happening. But when you go into the different modes, the GI is so well controlled that it changes from green to red and stuff like that. So the GI on this game is amazingly well programmed by, is it Ben Hick? I don't know who designed it, but the GI was just greatness in a box. Greatness. Yeah, in a box. So the inserts, multiple colors, great stuff. But that cabin, the flashers in there, it's so powerful. So when you start the multiball, they flash so bright. So that cabin, that brown cabin, it just gets bright white. It looks so good. It's so well done. I love the little swinging door when the balls come out on the porch. Oh, come on. It's just we want toys. We want to shoot toys. We want to shoot the double barrel shotgun Did you see when you didn shoot those 12 gauge what are they called The shotgun shells Yeah, shells, yeah. Shells. If you didn't shoot them the proper way, they made this sound. The shells fell down on the ground. Ding, ding, made this sound. So many details. My hearing, my ears are so poor. When I was at the military, they found out my hearing was exceptional. So I did some undercover stuff because I hear all the details. And small sounds was just awesome on this game. Only one thing I didn't like about the sound effect was when multiple started, the first multiple that started in that video, when Buck hit the jackpot shots, it sounded like two hammers hitting each other. And I had very high volumes. It was like ding, ding, just ear bleeding. That was the only thing. Other than that, the call-outs and everything was just amazing. What do you think about it, man? I was watching the gameplay trailer, and I kept hearing, like, the shells hit the ground. I thought Bug was dropping crap on the ground in the studio. I'm like, what does he keep dropping, pen caps or something? And then I realized, like, that was the sound of the game. So in the making of Featurette, there's an extended version. It's nearly an hour long. It's on the Straight Down the Middle YouTube channel. Like Ben Heck goes on and on about like all the sound files that he got or made or created or had and just crammed in here and like, you know, where stuff came from. Super cool watch to go check out. Look at this team. Designer, two good friends like Buck and Luke, right? Programmer, Ben Heck, right? The artwork, I mean, Frank, Christopher Franchi. What the hell? What a great team, man. And these guys doesn't have, you know, multi-billionaire investors in the back. They need to deliver every time. They need to put their heart and soul into this game. And you can just feel it. This is just made with love. This is made with passion. I would say insanity. I would say anybody else, they would have put them in an insane asylum and committed them. But in this case, they got in charge of a company. And they're just like, they don't know when to say when. This is the way, my friend. Everybody should do it like this. We need torches. We need bash torches. This game, it's, you know, that double barrel shotgun at the right side, it takes some real estate. That hand and the drop down targets at front, it takes some real estate. That means this white body game all of a sudden plays like a standout body game. It's so important. It's so good. If this was anybody else, the shotgun would be a plastic with stand up targets. there would be one head that popped up, not two. The hand would just be a static plastic, you know. There would be a Venom fast lock in here somewhere, and the lower two-thirds of the play field would have nothing there. How about the cabin? Yeah, no, the cabin would – I don't even know if the cabin would be there. The cabin would be a piece of art on the back with a couple of GI bulbs sticking out of it, and the lower play field would just be a sticker. And that would be $96.99. That's what you would get. Oh, Donnie, you said, how about that hit that turns? What would that be? Two pieces of plastic then? Oh, right. No, that probably wouldn't even be there. That would have been a Mezzel mod add-on or something you'd have to do. And that slingshot flipper won't be there either. No, no, no, no. That would have been a stand-up rubber plastic or something. I mean, there's just so much in here. And they were like, hey, there's a little piece of space here with nothing in it. Let's throw something in there too. I think that's how we ended up with the Vuck in the back. There was room there for something, and so they put something in there. So cool. One thing that I really like, so we had this 18-minute clip. It was two games played, and on the first game, you didn't even go down to the cellar. You didn't go down to the under play field stuff. Right. The guy was playing for eight minutes, didn't even get down there. No, no. So it's not something you just fell down, you're there all the time. No. On game two, he went down there. And it's so cool that that flap goes up and you have these standard targets you need to bash. Again, bash toy. Who doesn't love in the middle bash toy? You bash them and it rolls down, opens up, and then you go down on that mini play field underneath. And they need to time it. Maximum 10 seconds. Nothing more than 10 seconds. That's very important. But he makes use of that. It has a post at the right side so you can notch the game. I love that. So you can post the ball. Yeah, I like that, man. So you can jump to the flip rank. Yeah, but just time it to 10 seconds and do it so it's really hard. You need to play a couple of games before you can go down there. That way, an underplay feel is cool. Nothing else. So, wow. I mean, again, fast player. It doesn't feel like Indiana Jones. I mean, for 20 years, my Indiana Jones was side to side, side to side, white body until I bought new levelers and I took it maximum at the backside. I think it was nine degrees or something. All of a sudden, my indigeneous felt like a standout body game and it played like crazy fun. So this one, so cool that they cram in this. It's cool they use a white body. Everybody should use a white body. And I hope all upcoming spooky games will be white body. But, I mean, do this magic so you're cramming the side so it feels like a standard body. That's the way to go. So shots on layout, I am amazed by it, man. Yeah. Wow. Dude, I'm digging it. I'm digging it. Yeah. Absolutely. All right. So I said I had two things I was concerned about. First thing was the flipper down at the slingshot. The second thing is the audio package. I am a huge, huge audio guy, like crazy. It's 50% of the enjoyment for me. So people are saying, people are writing, oh, Don and you, you're just a couple of shills. You're like spooky. You're just shills. Oh, positivity, positivity. I want to throw a positivity. Now, you guys that are talking like that, listen to this kind of positivity. I was a bit concerned about the audio package. Now, sound effects and call-outs, I love them, especially call-outs. They're just call-outs of the year, nothing there. Here is my issue. When we saw trailer of Mike Myers, what was that game called? Halloween, yeah. It was amazing until Jack Danger played that game and we heard the music. It was music from the movie and it was a... It sounds all the time and I made a video and I was like, this music holds in the movie. Yeah, but not in a pinball machine. I will go crazy with that. And what did they do here? It feels like they took the music from the movie. You can do that with Star Wars You can do that with Indiana Jones You can do that with Jurassic Park But this Music Drove me crazy Donnie You didn't like it? I didn't like it man I wasn't Did Did you feel engaged When you heard the music of this game? You know the music to me was just kind of Background I wasn't focused on it It was just like listen to call outs Yeah. Hear this. Yeah, exactly. It's just something in the background. You're not focused. I put pin sound in my games, and I put in 90s music. When I play pinball, I'm dancing all the way on. Dancing. It's so good. You know, I know this is horror. This has to be, you know, spooked down. But for me, it was like, no. Okay. Check it. Check it. Check it. Check it. Check it. Two seconds. Spooky. If you're listening, listen to this. this is how the game should be sold. All right, that's fine. Please, please, guys, make an alternative audio package. Alternative with more modern music. It's so important. It killed it for me. You're also the guy that made a custom sound file for Tales for the Crypt and loaded it with Journey music. All right. And what more? A lot of – every mode has got some rock and roll, 90s rock, Guns N' Roses music. Everything is in there, ACDC, Metallica. Every mode is a new song. Oh, it's so good. So healthy. If I'm scrolling through the menu of my game and there's a Jenga's mode that comes up, and I can switch it to that, and it's just playing butt rock. I love it. That's why – I mean, for me, I play the game – You saw when I played my wrestling. The music, it just, everybody hates that game. Everybody hates that game. Everybody's wrong. But, Donnie, everybody hates it. It is one of those, if you say wrestling to someone, he will say, no, you're wrong, James. But that music, when I listened to all that, it just caught my ear. Ba-ba-ba-ba. Yeah. John Cena. It's so good, man. But people doesn't get it, Donnie. You need to be engaged. You need to dance. You need to have some fun. I mean, I understand they take the movie theme music, but it just does not work in a pinball machine. All right. Well, I will be playing Evil Dead, and you can go sit over there and play ABBA then and dance around. Be your own dancing queen. No, no. That's not what I meant, man. I mean, when they release Predator, and you will get that da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. I mean, oh, my God, it's going to be awesome. But I need to say this. I cannot be a shield. I need to be honest and say how I feel. The music killed it for me. Really. I mean, and the audio was on maximum because the call-outs, they are making me laugh. They're so cool. The call-outs are amazing. I think the call-outs are one of the best in the history of pinball. Okay, that's how I feel. But the music, they need to make an alternative sound package just going for people like me that isn't in the Evil Dead universe, just get normal, you know, pinball music, uplifting pinball music. No, you cannot play uplifting. That's the wrong word to say, but you know what I mean. Up tempo, high energy. Yeah, yeah. Exciting. Something like that, man. I guess what I could say about it is it's unmemorable because I don't remember it. I know there was music, but I... Is that good? Is that good? Can you mime the music? Do you remember how it sounds? You just listen to the music for 18 minutes? You don't even remember. I was focused on call-outs and sound effects, I think. I mean, the call-outs are beautifully done. Like, absolutely amazing. But the music, it just, oh my God, do something about it. That's my honest opinion. That's how I feel. I'm sorry. I appreciate the honesty. I'm still not selling my pre-order. I mean, buy this game, support this company, absolutely. Actually, I talked with my brother, and for months we were like, everybody knew about this game, and we were like, we cannot buy this game, we cannot put it on a location. It just doesn't work. And this game came out, and I talked with my brother yesterday, and he was like, I want this game on location. so that's the thing like like uh you know halloween and uh and texas chainsaw massacre like you're you're playing and there's like there's like actual death it's it's really very much true to the theme this one being a little bit more light-hearted and hilarious and action-packed i think you get much more of a pass on this on a location than you would with like one of the multiple he started the multiple the door opens up and this human-like something comes in with a chopped off head, the zombie without the head, with the chainsaw on his head. I mean, we cannot put stuff like that out. I think this game, if you have the slightest interest in Evil Dead, like the slightest, then you will also love the music, of course. Buy this to your home. This is a perfect game to have in your home. And the quote that's in another section, but Wow, man. I mean, I'm so happy about it. But can you see this game in a location, Donnie? Well, I can because we actually have adult establishments here where people aren't easily offended. Now, I mean, I'm in Wisconsin. It's nothing but barcades up here. So, like, there's Texas Chainsaw Massacre is on location. There's Halloween is on location. It's not really a big deal. but I don't see this in a family pizza place maybe unfortunately we don't have many of those call it barcades maybe you should start one let's get one going this punk rock thing it's just so yesterday here in Denmark we have this little subculture but it's not like that over here I don't know I know about these barcades popping up in the U.S., which is awesome, absolutely awesome. But, yeah, here in Denmark, it's much more family-friendly places, and those places people like to play. Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Now, I've been to Bon Bon Land, okay, and you can't tell me that that is family-friendly. It's like the whole part is completely disgusting. I mean, I love it, but, you know, let's be real here. Yeah, but there are kids in there, Don. You know how it is, man. And I love that you know so much about Denmark. It's so cool, man. It's so cool, man. I've ridden Hundleprut. I know it, man. I know it. Okay, the next thing we have to talk about. Okay, we agree, shots and layout. This is made with love and passion, right? Yeah. Yeah, cool, cool. We agree. We agree. All the light show, we agree. Absolutely amazing. Wow, man. at the back side of this cabinet, at the back side of the play field, in the middle, you can see Evil Dead 1 modes, 4 modes, and Evil Dead 2 modes that's homage to the old Bell Williams games that made stuff. There are so many details. I could talk about this to tomorrow, man. I like it. But next thing we need to talk about is the code of this game. I want to hear your opinion first. What do you think about the code? I don't think much about it because the game that I played was so very preliminary. It was still, like, not quite ready for, you know, show worthy. But how about the video? We just watched the video. Oh, dude, the video is great. Like, the video assets and stuff that come on with this. No, no, the code on the video where he showed different modes. Yeah, yeah. So, like, I mean, I don't understand, like, each mode, you know, which shots you're doing, where the times are and everything. You know, but, like, as far as the scoring and stuff, and then listen to Ben Heck talk about how he developed the rules and the code for it, how things are multilayered, how there's risk versus reward stuff, things that matter to tournament players that I still struggle to wrap my head around. Yeah, it seems I'm – I mean, like I've been happy with how Spooky has done with codes and code updates, and they're still doing code updates for Ultraman at this point still, you know. So I don't think it's going to be, you know, it released and then neglected, right, like we see with other companies where, like, well, it's out. Maybe we'll do a polished bug update, but that's about it. I mean, for me, when I start a new game and the whole play field inserts are flashing in different colors, I get turned off, absolutely. This one, forget about the video where Buck, he talks about this game. Just look at the game that he just plays without talking. And the display says, wide targets, shoot them to activate modes. And then you do that and you start a mode. And then the mode has three blinking or three solid colors on the play field. So simple. It's just so simple, so perfect. This is how it's done. And also, when you go into a something mode, the GI changes color. So you can really feel you're in this mode. the animation on the display is campy and fun the writing is not a whole you know 50 pages of something it's just one or two lines with big big letters the font is big and so easy to read so easy to understand for a guy that doesn't understand english like me it's so easy this is what we like this is how it should be done not like guns and roses what the f is going on there this is it i mean hit the lights multiball now i mean it's just yeah this was i mean thinking about a game just getting released this week and watching the gameplay and the code is this mature wow man so yeah and i was seeing a lot in this game that was not there a few months ago the first time that i played it either so like they've been working hard on this thing and you know now that the the layout and everything is done they're getting ready to put into production now everything can focus on just refining that code right i mean it's so that's that's what i mean but that's what i meant when i said these guys doesn't have a huge investor in in their bag so they need to deliver they need to sell these games and that will give you some kind of a push you know i could talk about american pinball they're very but they don't really care because they have all the money you know you know you know what i mean i don't want to be mean but i mean this this is i hope that i hope never spooky gets big investors i hope that they will use do it like this keep it in the family and just Because there no plan B you know This game got to sell so they have jobs for the next year You have to sell Yeah they need to deliver every time And it just and also as an outsider Donnie for years you know the Bella Williams collectors You know the Stern collectors. You know the – all the George and Pete collectors. Spooky collectors, many of them are people that are new – oh, this is not about you, Donnie. I can handle it. People that are new into the hobby, when you go into spooky thread, when you talk to spooky collectors, when you talk to spooky people, there are no negative people in there. It's so positive. Oh, this is so good. This is so fun. I love these guys. I mean, if you talk with people that collect spooky games, they're just a different breed. None of them will say, look at that Metallica topper. It's only the half size. I want to – blah, blah, blah. That doesn't exist in this spooky world. I know years back there were some quality issues. I have no experience with that. I just saw some people said blah, blah, blah. They didn't own the game. They heard something, and they want to just blush it up everywhere. But today the quality is we are distro for this company now. We have been testing this game, and it just holds up. If it didn't hold up, you know how I am. I don't hold back, Tony. I just say whatever I want to say. It's got to be miserable if you're a distributor for a product that doesn't hold up because then it's going to be hard to sell, and then you're going to be servicing the damn thing all the time. Oh, it's the worst. People think. Now, Donnie, this is Patreon talk, but people think when we sell a game, we make 50%. That's not the case. That's not true? That's not the case. Okay. No matter what you sell, it's not the case in the world of pinball. And then when something breaks down, some people, they pay $10,000, $15,000. The consumer thinks, I just paid you $15,000. You earned $15,000. I want this game to be perfect condition for the upcoming two years. We have two years of warranty here in Europe. They just expect that. So you cannot say, oh, the coil stop, they break after 200 games. You have to order. No. And some of them, you cannot just send them new coils. They don't know how to replace coil stops. Yeah. You have to drive out there to somebody. Oh, my God. So, and my bro Jay, he wants no headache. The games need to be rock solid. That's it. Yeah. So, I mean, the spooky team, you just, from an outside perspective, you just want to support these guys. when you see them, when you hear them talk. You just want to support this company. They're really putting their heart into it, and it's just so easy to see on this game. Yeah, for sure. And, you know, I've owned every spooky game since Rick and Morty now, and I've seen the progression into, like, less bricky shots, you know, just that refining everything by just millimeters that separate it from being clunky to nice and smooth. and I love my I was playing TCM last night again and it's like there's still so much in this game I need to explore. It's so much fun to shoot and looping shots and things and one thing flows into another and so this is like the next evolution of that. I'm excited for what's coming in the future from these guys. They're excited about what they have coming so dude I can't wait. I can't wait. My biggest plus with this company with these guys are they have I don't know if you can say this in English, but zero arrogance. Does that make sense? Oh, yeah. Do you know what I mean? They're not arrogant. Nothing like that. I was going to say, except for Spooky Luke, but we just have a love-hate thing. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. No, it's like the sweetest guys. Come on. Zero arrogance. They... If you have something in your heart you want to tell, they listen. If you criticize them, they smile back. They listen. They update. They do this. they're just so positive they they they send out so many positive vibes so much positive energy for us content creators for distros for everybody if they shit on me i would destroy that company but they're just so positive they're such a cool team you just you just love these guys There's just nothing negative about them. Imagine that, like listening to the customers of your product when they give you feedback and you incorporate that into what you bring out next, you know, and you're like approachable and not running away from emails or running away from phone calls. You know, it's like, hey, I got an issue. Oh, here's the fix. I'll send it out to you. No problem. You know, it's great. You talked about coding, Donnie. We have some companies that sold these games like three years ago. Four years ago, they doesn't have a final wizard mode. Yeah, what the heck? What the heck? I mean, yeah, that's arrogance. That's just, no, let's just go into there. But you know what I mean, right? That's not cool, man. It's just not cool. But, yeah, this game is selling. Everybody's loving it. And we're over 600 games out of 888. What do you think about Spooky Team only making under 900 games and saying they will not make a two-year's edition or whatever, a blood-red edition. They will just keep those numbers. Yeah, I mean, they directly address this too. They're like, you know, we wanted to keep the edition size low in order to keep that value in each game for the owners, which, like, I love that, you know. You buy some games and it's like, yeah, X-Men is limited to 811 for the limited edition version. They're going to make thousands of the other ones, So it's like it's cool but not as cool as it would have been if it was like truly like limited. And I dig that. And I think part of it is they have a lot of designs, a lot of games they want to come out with. And so if every game they release has an edition size of 2,000, it's going to take forever to get everything out. I mean this limiting to 888, very clever. And if it was 750, very clever. I was actually, I was thinking about if they sell out in a week, all 888 are gone. Okay, if they got the money, it's sold, blah, blah, blah. On my ride home, I was thinking if that scenario happened, they should maybe, this is just something I had. They should make special edition Delta 88, you know, that yellow iconic car. a Delta 8, it's called Delta 88 version, just make 88 more and have that car in the play field have a very special version but then I was like, no man that will just make people really really angry, but it will be so cool for the company that they made 88 really special versions, not that they should do it, people would be angry but you know what I mean, they could do it the spooky SLE, yeah people would be upset The 1988 version, have that car somewhere on the playfield. You can shoot the trunk and it opens up. Something cool, man. It's good. Yeah. So they won't do that, and I know they won't, because if they were to do something like that, we would have seen it with Rick and Morty already. Yeah, absolutely. But I was like, you know, cash grab, making some extra money. They could do that, man. It's so cool. We have here in Denmark, yeah, we have distros here, But we are only soft distros. That's lame. Yeah, but it is what it is. We get from another European company, which we love. Nothing there. Love and respect. We love you, buddy. The thing is, Donnie, we have a Facebook group. We're about 3,000 people here. And, of course, we put out some pictures and video stuff and say, hey, you can buy this game. It's so cool. and people go in and watch this, and there is a fan base here in Denmark. They're like, Woo! Evil Dead! I want this! So they go in, and they see this game for 9,000 something something MSRP. Now, the thing is, if they see a Stern game for 9,500 whatever MSRP, and they order it here in Denmark, then it's 9,500 MSRP here also, plus 25% VAT. if they see a jersey jack 12 000 on their page and they contact us we say yeah it's 12 000 buddy come and buy it that's cool our issue is now they're contacting us they want this game and they see this for nine thousand something dollars and i just talked with my bro right so he's he has to answer back to these people and we have to say oh yeah we can get to this game but our sale price here in Denmark is 11,500 euros. Oh, yeah. Is that with VAT or what? No. VAT on top of that. So it's 14,500 euros. But listen, we need to say this to people. It's 11,500 euros. And they're like, what? I saw it for dollars. And then we changed the euros to dollars. Then it's $12,100 plus VAT and shipping. And people are just looking at us. They're like, no. No, you're some con people. We see that spooky page. It's $9,000 something. Jersey Jack doesn't do this. Stern doesn't do this. Why do you do this? We want this game. And we're like, that's the price. We cannot do anything. We're sub-distro's here, right? So we say, yeah, in US dollars, it's $12,100 plus shipping plus 25% VAT on top of that. Is that because of the sub-distro thing? Yeah. Because there's got to be margins? I don't know what it is, but we want to sell these games. And, Donnie, people get angry at us because we're not used to this. We're not used to this. But they see the American price, and they want to give the American MSRP. like when they bought a Jersey Jack game. But it just doesn't work with Spooky, and it breaks my heart because I love this company, and I love their products, and so does my brother. How is it different with a JJP? Are you not a sub-district? JJP, if it says $12,000 from Ellie, a guy here from Scandinavia wants it, it's still $12,000. No trouble there. So how come it's different with Spooky then? We're sub-distros here. We need to buy from a European guy. And when we sell the games, we got the list price, and that's €11,500. And he also, the main distro, also said it's for €11,500. If you want €11,500 in U.S. dollars, let's say €12,100. So the MSRP here in Europe is €12,100 for a spooky game. And on top of that, 25% VAT. On top of that, shipping. That's confusing. No, it's not confusing. It costs 12,100 MSRP plus VAT. And Trump wants to put 20% on top of that? Donnie, why? Why? I don't want to mess with the U.S. election. I don't want to go into all of that. But please don't do this. We call it, I don't know what it's called in the U.S. The tariff? What? The tariff? Tariff? Yeah. Yeah. 20% on top of, oh my, we're never going to sell new games anymore. If anybody out there understands it, can explain it to me, because I don't understand myself. I don't see the reasoning or logic behind it. I try to be a pragmatic kind of guy, and I'm kind of lost. Yeah. I can tell you the European prime ministers, royalties, everything, they're holding these meetings down in Germany or something. And they're like, okay, if Donald Trump does this, we do it back. And nobody wins. Nobody wins. Nobody wins. Who wins in that situation? I'm not a Trump hater or a lover. Nothing like that. But stop this. We want to buy pinball machines. Yeah, don't mess with trade, man. Come on. No, man. Yeah, but that's one of his earliest things he wants to do and do in January. So, oh, my God. Yeah, that's sad. You can hear more about it on Don's political podcast, as I have opinions. Yeah, baby. All right, yeah, so that's our situation. And I'm so – yeah, when we say MSRP here is $12,100, then they don't want to buy it. And that doesn't include shipping? It would make sense if it's like, well, it takes a long time to ship out here, and so we've got to add this fee. No, the games get shipped to the main distro. So is it the main distro that's adding all that margin then? that's yeah because because the main distro says that we need to make some money here and it is what it is um i can't go into all the details donnie and i have nothing against the main distro i demand details i love the guy i don't want to say anything bad no nothing like that but because he sells it for 11 no 12 100 also right and is this does he have exclusivity Like, can you not just import your own and pay the VAT and import duties? No. He has a, yeah, he has distro, what's it called? Yeah, exclusivity. I don't know what. I would ask to talk to the manager. That's what we do in the United States. We cut our hair short and we ask to talk to the manager. No, no, I have been talking to Buck first, and Buck said, yeah, in Europe we have a main distro. You need to get together. Now, the cool thing is he has all the games, right? So if you want the games, it's on storage, and we can say we want it, and the shipping is a couple of hundreds or something, and he can just ship the games ASAP to us. So delivery time is so fast. That's cool. But I didn't know that this could happen because I just thought, like all the people are just looking at Spooky's page. And they show the prices just like all the other companies, right? They should do this. And people are just used to MSRP. And when we sell a JGP game, we don't take in Danish crowners. We charge people in U.S. currency because they see the U.S. We say, okay, you transfer in U.S. So nothing gets, you know, changing. My English is so bad. But, you know, when you change currency, you know what? Yeah, you lose some of the margins. So everything in the U.S., everything is MSRP except spooky games. What the heck? All right. A little work to do in that area because that kills it, man. That's like an extra 25% on top of the 25%. Buyers get just angry at us. Buyers think that we get them for the U.S. MSRP and we put so much on top of it. That's not the case. Well, it sounds like somebody is doing that, but it's just not you personally. No. I don't know how they do it, but we are not main distro, so it is what it is, man. So it's very hard for us to sell these games. But, yeah, nothing to do. It is what it is. We cannot change that. So, yeah, that was a little side note. I like it. But it was still pinball talk, you know. Yeah, thanks for the insight. I have no idea how that world works. No. But usually it's not like this. Usually, if somebody wants JJP CE that's sold for 15K, they can buy it for 15K. That's it. All right. All right. Next thing. Next theme. Next thing about this game. Oh, you are buying this game, right? Absolutely, yeah. I was at the JJP booth at IAPA, and I put in my deposit on my phone. Didn't you buy it when you were visiting them already? No, I asked them if they want me to leave a deposit. They said, no, you can wait. So I just went on with everybody else on the website and got a deposit in. Okay. So the rumors are saying January you will get this game? So I texted them this morning, and it sounds like, let's see, they've got over 650 sold as of now. They're planning on a 12-month build to accommodate all 888, and the games will start leaving at the end of next month, December. December already? So we don't have to wait until January. Now, they're always a little bit slow at first because they do a ton of QC on the first 100 games that they get made. And then after that, it'll really start picking up. But, yeah, I think that's great because we don't have to wait until after New Year's, wait until January to spool up. They can already start doing it here in the next couple of weeks. It's not going to be like Alice. Are they shipping? So, okay, so by the time Spooky is done building all the evil dregs, how many Alice's do you think will actually have shipped? It's got to be less than 150. I'm telling you, I said this day one. Chris from Canada's Pinball Podcast, he will not get his Alice game. He will say something, something, I didn't buy it. I got my money back. Because I'm telling you, it's a year from now. No hype, no nothing. it doesn't work. The game is fine, but it's like, it's those Funhaus remake. You know, I'm not going to pay $12,000 for Funhaus remake. Dude, if I pay that money, I want the game in three days. I don't want to wait and wait and wait. I don't want to wait. It doesn't work anymore. I still not seeing Pulp Fiction LEs Supposedly they leaving but I haven seen anybody unbox them Yeah Yeah Yeah it just doesn work But one thing we need to say to Spooky Team Yeah. On our messenger group, I posted when the pictures got leaked. I posted, hey, guys, look at this. Are you getting this game? And there were a couple of guys there that said they got their Looney Tunes, but they're still waiting on their Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so they were so angry. And I was like, okay, yeah, that's not cool. Come on, Spooky Team. Send the people's Texas Chainsaw Massacres out. Build them, build them, send them out so everybody can be happy. Yeah. I love my Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's like my favorite game now. It's overtaking Looney Tunes. Wow, man. I keep going back and forth. Those shots in Looney Tunes. I mean, shots on layout, it feels like it's more fun on Looney Tunes. Yeah. But this game, this game, this Evil Dead, it has got this coziness. You are in this cabin. It has got this tape that says, Gondar. Gondar. It's just more in. Yeah, you are in there. It's just different feeling, man. Maybe when I play this game in a dark room with high volume and listening to the music, maybe it helps and puts me in that mood, you know. But from the video clip, I felt like you. It didn't, no impression. When I listen to X-Men music, the music that they changed that nobody liked. No, no, the music, the people in my scene, Donnie. Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry. Just caught my attention. It caught everybody's attention in a bad way. People hated that music. Other people didn't like it, but people want old dead rock. You know how it is, Donnie. When we play hip-hop music, people are writing, what is that? Some people don't know what Ice Cube is. Come on. We're spreading the love, man. Come on. Yeah, man. It's all positivity. so all in all if you should rate this game from 1 to 10 how would you rate it yeah now I haven't really played it with much of the code but as far as like looking at it we're like you know 8.5 we're pretty high here yeah it's so cool I don't know where to start where to stop oh that spinner sound was up me and sounds I don't want to talk more about sounds but when you hit that spinner. I did like the spinner sound. Yeah. I'm excited. I'm excited for this game. It's not like I put it to pause and I'm like, well, do I really want it? I want it today. I want to unbox it and play it. Yeah. Let me tell you something about when you put games out on location. That under play field, that glass that are with 15 screws on top where the ball will jump from the wood to the glass to the wood again. When you played that prototype game, did you look at the wood there? Were there some kind of chipping? So, I didn't notice any. You know, but I didn't like, you know, I wasn't specifically looking for that. Okay. Well, this is a play field that I would if I should keep this game forever, I would install a play field protector from day one because that thing in the middle will destroy the wood around the glass and the opening place to the cellar that needs some protection so either miler up this play field or install a playful protector because if you play a lot of games unless it's completely flat so the ball doesn't detect the glass to the wood now this is nerdy dorky talk i know not people not many people will understand this but you know when games get A lot of plays, they will just destroy the wood, man, because of, you know how it is when the ball changes trajectory from wood to, yeah. Other than that, it feels like a great game. That cabin there, I like it. The hand, the hand is, do you know if the hand is moved by servos that people are so angry about, or is it the belt drive? It's a belt drive on a stepper motor. So, yeah, it's an electric motor, not a servo. That's so cool. See, that's feedback and they're listening. No arrogance. They're listening. I love that. And they've already switched to the metal servos for where they do use them. It looks like there's a servo for the diverter in the shotgun for the launch. It looks like there's a servo in the lady's head that flips around back and forth. I can't find a whole lot of a servo in the swinging porch swing. But there's a huge difference having a servo at the head that turns. Yeah. And the hand that got shot with a steel ball. Shoot the pincer. You will overload that servo. Because that was one of my questions. I'm like, so how are you driving this thing? Is it like a worm gear that's spinning? Like, how are we doing this? And we lifted the play field, and it was belt-driven to a standard electrical motor. Nice, man. Okay. And it's on a rail guide system, so it looked fairly robust. And they said they did a ton of testing with it. So, yeah, we'll see. those belt drives they hold for for a lot of hours of play and if and if it breaks down it's just a belt that will get worn out and that's a very easy and cheap way to replace yeah we need to talk about the topper of this game so this game comes with a topper but for $1,399 yeah yeah you can get one of the most craziest toppers ever produced on a people machine. So that was on this game when I walked in there and I'm looking around the game, I'm checking out the art, the play field, and then I look up and she's looking at me and moving and flashing because it was going off in attract mode. And I was like, what the hell, you guys? I feel like I walked into a Spirit Halloween here. Stuff is jumping out at me. It's really unsettling. It's very creepy. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, to be honest, I personally wouldn't have that topper in my home. It's just too spooky for me. If I was a kid and that was downstairs in someone's house, I wouldn't go down there. Forget it. In my house, when you go to the bathroom, you can see my game room. If the door isn't closed, you can look directly into my Tales from the Crypt. Yesterday, my 13-year-old son that is Danish champion in karate, gold medal, everything. He kicks my He says, that creepy head with those blue LEDs up top. And he said, I don't like to look at that guy every time I go to the – and my girlfriend, she said, I don't like this. Can you just remove that? We don't want to look at that. Okay, I had to remove that. So I put on, you know, last action instead. But can you imagine this one in a track mode? That head gets up. Right? It's very creepy. Even I'm on the fence on ordering it just because, like – But, I mean, the quality, the craftsmanship, the price for $1,400. Look at what's possible. Look at what you can get. I'm not saying no nothing right now. You know what I mean. For $1,400, look at what you can get. And so I did find out that this isn't a product they're purchasing. This is something that they make at the factory as well. And when you order your machine or when your machine is ready to be produced, if you want to add the topper, they'll go ahead and install it at the factory and put it in the box. So when you get the game, it's on there if you want it. Wow. On top of that, the light effects, when it's green and when she comes up, she can be red. Oh, my. It just works. That's fucking works. Yeah, they went for it, man. One more thing I want to talk about is the side armor. Have you seen it's a chainsaw? Yeah. Yeah, Texas Chainsaw Massacre had something similar, so, you know, the second chainsaw game in a row. Yeah, it's cool, man. Yeah, I love laser-cut custom armor, and they do it all in-house, on-site. They powder-coat across the street and then throw it on there. They powder-coat the coin door. They powder-coat the speaker panel. You get magnet graphics on the speaker panel and apron. Like, it's just loaded with everything. There's nothing you need to do to this game. It's crazy. It has got that underplay feel when it's lit up. As you can hear, I'm very dorky when I go to details. I try to stop myself sometimes. But when it's lit up, it's purple color. So I've seen some people say that, yeah, that underplay feel is purple. And it has got some colors there that's not presented in the movie. It doesn't work. I don't get that. I think it's so cool. Yeah, well, this is based on a movie. It's not a movie. It's a pinball machine. So you still need to have things that are fun in there. I dig it. As long as the colors work, man, let it pop, bro. Exactly. It pops. It works. It's so cool. Hey, I'm looking at that double-barrel shotgun. So the shell says 12GA. Is that 12-gauge? 12-gauge, yeah. 12-gauge? It also says, it's hard to see in the picture, but it says spooky pinball on there too. And it's so cool. It says one and two, and spooky says you hit them, you know, one and two, and then both. And then both. Yeah, and so it's like you're just ramming them home when you hit both of them. And if you go to hit both and you only hit one, it'll reset itself so you can keep going until you do get both with one shot. is it um is it stand-up targets or is it no mechanical parts that moves in and out so the shotgun shells are sculpts and they're like full-size shotgun shells and then it operates with a drop target kind of mechanism where you know it can be released and it's under a spring tension but yeah they showed me the actual shells and they're like full-size sculpted shells inside of a sculpted double barrel shotgun. Come on, Donnie. So fun, man. Most of the time I was playing a couple of games, I was just playing with the shotgun, man. It was so much fun to get one, then the other, and then they would pop out, and then you go both with one shot, and you're like, yeah, nailed it. Love it. I'm looking at a picture when it's zoomed in at that glass in the middle of the play field. If it's not leveled, it will destroy the wood. Have you owned a game called Tales from the Crypt? Tales from the Crypt? Yeah. No, no, no, no. The other one, Tales. Black Lagoon Crypt. What's it called, man? Oh, Preacher from the Black Lagoon. Yes. Yeah. That blast there, it chips and destroys. Congo chips and destroys. I know those games. Because Jaws had something similar with the plastic around where the shark would come up with its fin. and you would catch air balls if it wasn't nice and flush. But with there, there was a gasket or there was gaskets under the screws. And so you could kind of fine tune it by tightening the screws to get it right down where it needed to be, like a little bit of compression and it would be nice and smooth. So this looks to be something similar. It looks like they got a black gasket going around the entire thing. So you can tighten to get it flush, which you'll want to do. I think I would just install a playthrough protector cost like a hundred bucks or something. and just installed it and never think about this man. Other than that, those hits that popped up, I loved it in the video. And it's located so you can go up the ramp and stop your entrance to the ramp. So you'll have to hit them and drop them so you can get access to the ramp during certain modes. Now, when we look at Toy Story 4, which has a Gabby Gabby pop-up, there's no risk or anything around that. It's just kind of there, but it's not blocking a ramp. It's not blocking a shot. She pops up. You hit her. She goes away, and that's the end of it. So these are great. And they're sculpts too. I got to hold these actual sculpts of the heads that are there. Awesome. Awesome made sculpts. I love it. I'm looking at a picture now where both heads are up and that cellar you will die. Are they drop-down targets when the cellar door opens, or are they stand-up targets? Do you know that? They're stand-up targets, and when you bash them all, the whole thing drops. Like the whole thing is on a mechanism that pops down. And then that's when you can shoot behind it. It has some gears that it moves down slowly. Yeah, or something. It's on a coil or whatever. But, yeah, the whole mechanism will come up and down as one piece. Oh, is it on coil or is it like on, you know, Black Hat 2000? You need a couple of times and it will just grind down. I don't know. I got to look at it. I think it pops up and pops down pretty quick. So it seemed like a coil to me, like an up post kind of. Yeah, a coil would be much more smarter here because it will just pop down than you have open interest. But I'm looking at a picture. Both heads are up, okay? That open cellar is up there, and you can see the spinner at the background. You can see the book. You can see two, three ram shots. You can see the shotgun shells. Oh, my God. Give me this game. It looks awesome. So much, man. That's all I can say, man. Well, cool. So their upcoming games, have you heard the titles of the games? Yes. The next four sneaky pinball titles are Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Nightmare Before Christmas, Futurama, and The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors. I wish. I have no idea, but those are the ones that I want. If they make Simpsons and Futurama, I will start crying. Yeah. Really. Because I would be so sad. Don't do those. What? Oh, come on, man. Come on. No way. yeah okay so uh donny you need uh when you get your game in december you need to um you need to make a video you need to light up that playfield with 14 ring lights will do if you like yeah just lit up and invite me and uh yeah make a great video because i cannot wait up with the volume let's let's enjoy this because this video that buck recorded he usually when we see these pinball videos it's just straight up and this one was more you know bird's perspective view because he wants to those heads that pop up I understand why he did that but do you know what would be really cool set the camera where our eyes are at so you have this point of view why doesn't these streamers do that yeah great idea Yeah, so the thing is you'd be playing with a camera like right in your face, but it would make for a better perspective. I get it. Maybe I'll go ahead and do that on my stream when I get it. Just let the camera at your right ear. Just let it be there and just look down. That's how we're used to it. When we look from the top, there are so many effects we don't get. I don't get engaged. the only videos I enjoy watching is when people are playing classic games from the early 80s that's when it works when you see newer games you don't see the destroying building you don't get that effect and it's just I think it's sad but it is what it is man alright buddy alright that was that was our spooky talk We love these guys. We love this company. And this is maybe, not maybe, this is the best game they have made. I haven't played it. And I have seen some people who write, you guys haven't played it. Why can you be this positive? I'm so irritated. Excuse me. I'm so irritated about your love for this. But excuse me. We just love pinball. And we have some experience. We can just see it from a video. This looks like a fun pin. Right? Yeah. It feels like a spooky game too. So I like that they're coming more into their own. And I like that they're like the number two pinball company now. What? So they destroyed J.J.P.? I mean, at this point, in terms of saying, I don't know, just saying. I'm just saying. It's close. It's a close battle for number two, man. I mean, isn't that crazy, Tony? This is the American dream. Love it. Right? We say Buck and Luke, but it's the dad that started everything, right? Yeah. It's Mr. Emery that started everything. And it's just his son taking over and now having great names in their company. I'm loving this story, man. It's something you can tell your grandkids. This was the American dream. I dig it. I dig it. I love it, man. It's so cool. Good. Donnie? Yeah. You were at IAP, or what was it called? You sent some live. I was there. It was so cool. And you talked with David Fix. Yes. Did you ask him, is your company going to close down on Monday? Yes, I did. And we should probably talk about that on the bonus show, I would think. Would that be a good Patreon show topic? Okay, okay. So you want to go 2.0 at Patreon? I think so. Let's go after hours to the after show. Okay. Oh, my. It's going to be dirty. Yeah. All right. Let's do that, Tony. Let's get the outro. Let's send some love for all the buyers, all the supporters. You guys are great. A lot of love to Spooky Pinball. Thank you for doing this. We cannot wait to the next game. Very good. Let's go out with some Cottonmouth Kings. You can e-mail us at wearepinball69 at gmail.com.
