I told everybody for months, not for weeks, not for minutes, for not for seconds. for months. months. Get in on a Beetlejuice. Make sure you GET ON A LIST FOR A BEETLEJUICE. I said for months to do it. You think I was joking? You think I was kidding? Months. Get in on a Beetlejuice. Make sure you get on a list. DON'T COME CRYING TO ME. DON'T COME CRYING TO CANADA. It's not fair. How'd you get a game? Don't go to Pinside. Spooky should make more. They're not making anymore. You babies. What the f were you doing for months? For months. WHERE WERE YOU? OH, YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU'RE INTO PINBALL NOW. You just want to march in on the day the game goes up for sale and you want a SEAT IN THE HOTTEST RESTAURANT IN THE PINBALL WORLD IN THE HISTORY OF PINBALL. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A GAME sell like this. Never. I've never seen a GAME. THIS GAME IS SOLD OUT IN 9 SECONDS. And you all walked in. You walked in like a bunch of pinside idiots. I'm going to wait to see the trailer. Then you're not getting [ __ ] YOU'RE NOT GETTING [ __ ] ENJOY THE TRAILER. Enjoy the trailer. ENJOY THE FEATURETTE. BY THE TIME YOU'RE DONE WITH THE FEATURETTE, ALL THOUSAND GAMES were sold. Baby, what do you think I was doing? What do you think I was saying this for? You think I was doing this for my health? Y'all thought I was joking. Thought you were going to go just go get one. I was going to give Spooky a call. I'm going to give him a call. See these idiots on? I'm just going to give them a call. They had 30,000 people trying to get through on the website alone. 30,000. Wake up you pinside babies. This is a huge movie franchise that's perfect for pinball. And you thought you were just going to like mosy on in. Ain't nothing to see here. I'm going to get a seat at this restaurant. I'm going to get a You got [ __ ] I don't normally curse, but I'm excited today as you can tell. Locked out like a bunch of babies. Waking up to these text messages. Hey, Canada, what are you doing with THOSE FIVE GUNS? I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I'M DOING WITH THOSE FIVE GAMES. I'm watching. I'm studying. I'm observing all of these babies. And guess what? They ain't getting one if they're not a Canada Club member. And guess what? You had to be a Canad club member by yesterday. We hit 700 club members. I'm not doing this to try to get new subs. The reason why people are going to start subscribing to Canadas Pinball podcast is because now they know, not only did the man have that obvious genius idea to turn the game on with Beetlejuice. Yeah. Where's Colin now with his story. Where's his story about how Canada actually was the inspiration for that entire thing? Where he's nowhere to be found. He's doing he's doing stories about uh transgender pinball controversies at tournaments. That's what he's doing stories on now. transgender people getting accosted at Pim. I have no idea what he's talking about. That's what we're doing now in the week Spooky comes out with Beetlejuice. Yeah, good luck with that, Colin. Know your audience, buddy. You know, I feel um I feel so good about this hobby, where it's going, where I'm going in this hobby, the things I have in the works, the things you're going to see coming up, the things the games, the games that are coming up. As I said, it's a shift. The entire pinball, like the the entire pinball universe just discovered a new planet called Spooky yesterday, and there's life on it. And not only that, the life is a lot more interesting than the life that's over at Stern. Mad Pinball says, "Got one morning of from Spooky. was on lists ago and didn't get. I don't understand what you mean, mad mad arcade and pinball. What does that mean? You were on a list and you didn't get it? Then you weren't on a list. You should have got on more than one. Also, like, wake up, guys. We're humans, not dodo birds. Why didn't you just get on more than one list? It was free. free. Hedge your bets. Are you grown men? You know, do you go into a bar when you're like 20 and only talk to one chick? If you even talk to chicks, talk to a few. Talk to a few dros. Get on a few lists. What's wrong with you guys? Common sense. A screa, as we say in Sicily. Let's hear myself. Are we doing this? We're doing this. We're doing this. How are we sounding? I know I'm screaming. I I just feel like first of all, we're obviously going to talk about what the heck went down yesterday. A complete shift in the power dynamics. And look, I'm not saying Spooky Pinball's out selling Stern, but Stern, man, they they they're running scared. What happened to them yesterday? What happened to the to the Walking Dead stream? Oh, you you by mistake you put up the X-Men topper. How's that happen? How's that happening? You know, as a Beetlejuice owner 999 999, I just want to say I'm excited to get this game. I'll tell you right now what this game is selling for um on the secondhand market. Bill Brandice just told me he turned down an offer of $18,000. He turned down an offer of $18,000 and he said, "No, $18 grand. I heard Robins pulling down for sale ads on Pinside. Is that true or not? You're not allowed to sell your spot?" Whoa, a socialist running pinside. I don't know if that's true or not. We got Zombie Yeti chiming in with some salty shade on like you see that. Oh, we're back to saturation and colorful bit like the amount of saltiness happening over at Stern yesterday. Amazing. You rocked them. David versus Goliath. You hit him between the eyes yesterday. Spooky. Stern hasn't been hit like this in a long time. And the reason why is they passed on this theme. They got rid of Franchie and they've been delivering just ugly stuff lately and they saw a game in which 99.9% of people are like, "This is one of the most beautiful pinball machines I've ever seen." And the only people that are poo pooing it are Stern employees. Love it. You know why we all should love this? Because it's going to make Stern get better. You know, look, I come to you now at the turn of the tide. I come to you now, a new golden era in pinball. And it began like a year ago. It began when we saw [snorts] sad boy man with $100. Look at this guy. Look at this guy. You own the show, brother. You're going to give me a hundred bucks like just like that. I love you, mother. Imagine being stern right now. Effing laughing my ass off. They look like bozos 40-year-old clown shoes. My money is safe from their garbage going forward. Serious congrats to the entire team over at Spooky. Beetlejuice will go down as an alltimer. You demand Franchie AS A HUMAN BEING WROTE THIS. NOT AI human being. Franchie is the man. Bug and Luke are the man. DJ the man. Everybody over at Spooky. They're the They're They got the juice now, as they would say back in the in the 80. You got the juice now, boys. You got the juice. Ed Stern's going to try to sell a $150 X-Men shooter knob that just has a effing sticker on it. Are we done now? Are we done? Seth has got to walk into an office on Monday morning and have a picture of Beetlejuice up on the wall. Are we done? Are we done acting like fools? This company BUILT THIS MACHINE OUT OF A BARN IN BENSON AND I'VE GOT THIS 60,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY AND YOU'RE GIVING ME THIS CRAP. THIS STAR WARS CRAP. THEY THEY BUILT THAT GAME IN A BARN. WITH THEIR BARE HANDS. What is this? Shh. What is this? WE GOT THE BIGGEST IP IN THE COMPANY HISTORY. And this is what YOU'RE COMING AT ME WITH, JOHN BORG. SHUT UP, ZOMBIE YETI. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, ZOMBIE YETI. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. SIT DOWN. SIT DOWN. they uh they don't understand, you know, like something's happening here. Something's happening here and it's beautiful. I can go from 11 to one like this. And I'm just going to tell you right now, I'm so proud. You know, I was talking to my dad this morning and I said, "Dad, like look at this. I sent him America's Most Haunted and I said, "Dad, look at this game from 12 years ago. I was around when these guys couldn't even sell 150 pinball machines and they almost went out of business and this is the game that they made." And I sent them a picture of The Walking Dead from 12 years ago. This is the biggest company in the world released this game the same time they released America's Most Haunted. I said, "Dad, look at what happened this last week." Stern released this Walking Dead and they released this Beetlejuice that's 30% cheaper than Walking Dead LE that has this much in it that looks this good. Game set match American dream. American ingenuity. American innovation. This is it. You don't understand. This is it. This is what we teach our kids to aspire to do. This is why this country is amazing. This is why competition is amazing. This is why social media is amazing. This is why our ability to rally around a company and send a message like everybody did yesterday is amazing. This is it. You have the biggest pinball company in the world that gets on there AND SAYS, "NOBODY IN MY ORGANIZATION wanted to make Beetlejuice." Nobody. So, you don't want to make the game that the community wants to buy? They sold more beetle. Like I I like if you literally like could tally the amount of demand. Stern hasn't felt this in forever. This game looks way better than Godzilla. Looks way better than Jaws. Looks way better than King Kong. It's It's another level. And like literally what happened yesterday? What happened yesterday is just like this is it now, guys. Like it's a whole new pinball world. It's a beautiful pinball world to wake up into. We've got Manchester's, you know, mystery house. We've got this now. We've got like, you know, all this energy happening around the boutiques led by the biggest boutique, which is Jersey Jack. I think Jersey Jack's going to learn from this as well. I think Jersey Jack's going to learn a lot from how Spooky codes its games. I think if there's one Achilles heel of Harry Potter, it doesn't really make you feel like you play the movie modes as intimately as Beetlejuice is going to make you feel like you're intimate intimately playing the moments in the movie you love. I think there's a little too much going on in Potter. I think they're going to learn. I think they're going to get better. This is what competition does. And it's good. It's good. The problem over at Stern is simply like what they've been pushing in front of people like recently. It just looks cheap. It looks crappy and it looks uninspired and then it all looks the same, you know? So, like it's and then also you start to add up all of these boutique companies, all of these orders and then what happens, ladies and gentlemen, when you're just satiated by supporting a boutique company or two a year makes you feel really good. What doesn't make you feel good is buying all these Stern Newan boxes and losing $3 to $5,000 on every LE and they've done nothing to course correct that. So you've got four years of people losing $3 to $5,000 on every LE and they've done jack to correct that. And you think just going to keep selling to these people? You don't understand. It's the movie margin call. If we do this, Seth, if we charge $20,000 for James Bond's 60th, if we do this, George, if we do this, Gary, nobody stood up and said, "If we do this, we will never sell to these people again." Like literally no one said that. And did like George OR SOMEONE SAY, "BUT THIS IS IT, MAN. This is it. We moved into this big factory because there were tax breaks from the, you know, the city and our investors wanted us to grow at this rate and we have to do this because we've got all this overhead and all these mouths to feed. But this is not like if we charge $20,000 for this, we will never sell to these people again. If we charge $2,000 for toppers, we will never sell to these people again. If consistently stern LE buyers are losing $3 to $5,000 a game, we will never sell to these people again. I sold my Beetlejuice spot for a lifetime membership. I'm in I'm in awe of how a game that was so hyped has overd delivered. And I've said it and I'll say it again and I I constantly say it. When was the last time a stern machine exceeded your expectations? When was the last time a Stern machine exceeded your expectations? When was the last time you bought a stern machine where you really felt like you got your money's worth? Godzilla four and a half years ago. Batman Batman was um Batman was 10 years ago. It's 10 is nine years ago. Batman 9 years ago. [snorts] That X-Men shooter knob is real. I don't know if it's a play. It might be a placeholder photo, but I I don't know. I know the topper's real. 9.5 years ago, Batman [snorts] Stern's not done, gang. I mean, they're they're going to have to figure stuff out. Now, I I've heard some I've heard some concerning things about the Pokemon game. It is coming out. It is Pokemon. I heard it is more of a lunchbox deal though. I don't I don't know what that means. If Pokemon's a lunchbox deal, I don't know what that means. I don't know if it's like just the original Pokemon, not all the new Pokemon. I have no idea what that means. If you if you sign a limited licensing agreement with Pokemon, I have no idea what that means. [snorts] Jurassic Park was the last great I No. Come on. Jurassic Park had no assets, guys. You know, I get that Jurassic Park is a great shooter. To me, Jurassic Park was when Stern started going cheap. No assets from the movie. How can you not get the Jurassic Park movie assets, but you can get the Star Wars assets? Okay. No assets from the movie. They didn't even license the damn Jeep. They couldn't even go to Jeep and get the license for the Jeep. That's when they started cutting corners. They didn't even license the Empire State Building. You don't license the Empire State Building in a King Kong game. I'm We're done here. I'm I'm leaving. I'm leaving. You know what I'm saying? It's like I want a divorce. And I think that's what a lot of people have said yesterday. They said it with Winchester like they How many times are people going to ask Stern for a divorce? And as I told George and Seth and Gary, your number one priority is winning back your collector audience and they've not done it. And they hired a CMO. I don't think he's done anything. Zombie Yeti coming at me is not helping matters. Zombie chiming in yesterday doesn't help matters. Um, everybody looks on the defensive. Jack Danger clearly doesn't want to like really Jack Danger's not enjoying his job there. You know, John Borg looks like he's he made three games in a year, all of which have been mediocre. He's not happy. Um, you know, Metallica wasn't mediocre. I take that back. Metallica was the only one that felt like they did it right. Everything else feels like, you know, so I also want to say congratulations to me. Congratulations to Canada. You're back at 700 subscribers. We were at 650 about three months ago. Congratulations to me for being 100% spot on on telling everybody to get on a list for a Beetlejuice. Congratulations to me for warning people every single week. Congratulations for having the idea, Beetleju, Beetleju, Beetlejuice. And congratulations to me for being absolutely wrong about Star Wars going up in value and Walking Dead going up in value. No, I just want to say, look, I think every member of the Canada Club is feeling a little bit vindicated by all the Canada haters out there that constantly try to say like, "Oh, he only says the same thing. He's so negative." Does Does this sound like a negative show? Yeah, we're making fun of Stern because they deserve to be made fun of. And also like can we also just for a moment can we just for a moment talk about how Stern did say they were going to stream The Walking Dead yesterday and now all of a sudden what this Walking Dead game how many people like if I'm going to tell you right now if you're in on a Walking Dead Al like like just I would not go in on that game for 13,000. You You need your head examined. The game's going to be 10 in like a month. Uh, I would be staring down a Star Wars Ellie instead of a Beetlejuice if not for Canada. Yeah. I wonder if my old buddy Derek got a Beetlejuice. I wonder if he's on the list for one. You know, he doesn't talk to me anymore. I see him all he's all active in Pinside and I sent him a nice note saying, "Dude, all you got to do is reach out and all the hatchets are buried. He still has not responded like crazy to me. Still hurts a little bit. I got to be honest. every time I read him active on pinside that he threw our friendship in the dumpster simply because I simply because I didn't vote for Camala Harris. Sorry. Sorry. I just want my boys to inherit the hard work and money that I that I put aside for them. I don't want it to go to your socialist beliefs because you don't have children. Sorry, Derek. You don't know what it's like to try to leave something behind to your children. Sorry. It's called being selfless. And look, by the time my kids are Trump will be long gone. It's more about the financials of what I believe in. I'm a financial voter, not a bleeding heart. And you know, the the thing too is like what people don't realize is like you can like have conservative values and not really like Trump and like you're allowed to be that way. You know what I'm saying? Like I don't think Trump is great. I think he's like I think I don't think he's done a good job either. I mean look at it like he hasn't brought any inflation down and everything. It's like but I still just want to hold on to my money and I don't believe in any of the far progressive left garbage they're putting into these kids' heads is. Anyway, back to this game. The thing is um how like let me ask you guys out here. We got 83 42. Who got a Beetlejuice? Who out here got a Beetlejuice yesterday? I want I want to do a little like live poll. Um Franchie did. Franchie, are you on Facebook? Should we try to get you on Facebook Live? Do you want to try to join? Is Spooky Luke on on Facebook Live? Let's get Let's see if we can get uh some of the uh the talent over at Spooky. Although you dudes on YouTube won't be able to hear. Sorry. Uh, that might not work. Franchie's naked. Okay. All right. So, let's see. I did. I didn't. I did. Looks like a lot of people got one. I got a rock. Who didn't get one? Who did not get one? Couldn't get through. Jay Magcguire. Jay, you're a name I see a lot. Jay Jay, let me ask you a question since we got you on Facebook here. Jay said he couldn't get through. I wanted to. Didn't go as planned. Tony, for you guys that like did you guys I'm I'm just curious. Did you guys hear me for months telling you to get on a list and you just didn't? Like I'm just I really am just curious of those who tried to like actually call in and get one. Did you not hear any of my shows for months? Are you that new to pinball? See, Simmyi said, "I deserve the shame." [snorts] So, John Gallow, I see your name on here, too. Like I guys, like I was trying to like really help you out for months. Winchester and Beetlejuice. Lucky man. got on months six and Anthony, did you get one? When you got on a list six months ago, John, when did you ask your district to get on that list? He said he got on the list too late. I wanted to see it first. But here's the thing, Jay. Jay, you didn't even Jay Jay, this Jay, this is the part that's got to be killing you a little bit. you you knew you were not going to lose money, right? Like literally knew you. And here's the thing. These games are now selling between5 and $8,000 on the secondhand market. No one's allowed to talk about that. Okay, I want to I want to announce something. This is and I just want to I want I want to make this crystal clear caveat right now. I have a friend. This is not one This is not my game 999. This is not one of the five games Spooky is giving to Canada Club members. I'm going to I'm going to reiterate this first. The five games that Canada Club members are going to have access to get are going for MSRP to those lucky people that get a chance to buy it. I'm We're going to do something fun to figure out how we allocate those five games. I want them to go to people that never sell them and I want to make sure we find those people. Okay, now there's that. F Spooky and this What do you mean show 800 games is a joke? Why Why are you so mad, Stefano? Why you mad at Spooky, bro? Here's the thing. I have someone who has asked me cuz he sees what these things are going for secondhand market and he said Canada I have a spot you know the game looks amazing like I'd be willing to accept offers if someone really wants to take my spot for me. Okay, this isn't a guy that's like buying for and so I I said, "Look, man, like I think Pinside is taking down for sale ads. I think we're living in a socialistic world now where people are not allowed to just I don't know, like just see what the people might offer because gang, here's this thing. Imagine this. You have a spot. You have one spot. You paid $2,000. You're excited for Beetlejuice, but someone puts $18,000 in front of you. So you you're not allowed to on the spot that you have. You know, you didn't buy it to scalp, but the spot that you have. All right, man. If you're willing to offer that much, you can have my spot. Like, I'll I'll take it and maybe down the road I'll try to get the game again. So, like I don't understand why people are not allowed to do that. So, I I literally like would love to know from people here why that's such a problem. Because if you just give it to the next guy and then what if he wants to sell it? You're going to stop. You're going to keep stopping everybody with a gun to their head that they're not allowed to do what they want with the thing that they bought. They got online first. They paid the deposit. It's now their game. Once you pay deposit, in my honest opinion, it is now your game. You know what I'm saying? The dealer has his margin. He has his money. It's non-refundable. It's now your game to do what you want with. If you want to like push it off the Golden Gate Bridge, you can. It's your game now. You know, if you buy it, like I look at a new pin as like an IPO almost in a way. Like if you get a stock at $10 a share and all of a sudden after the IPO it's worth like 20 and someone wasn't able to get in at 10, are you selling it to him for 10 or you selling it to him for 20? Juicy time. Here's the thing about this game. I don't think they're going to see this game ever. This game's never going to sell for anywhere close to 10. It's never going to sell for anywhere close to 10. It It is a I I will tell you this. I've been in this hobby for 12 years. I've seen I've seen what this hobby does to games. You got to remember, there's never going to be more than a thousand of these games. Never. There's no more premiums. There's no less coming down the road. They're never doing another rerun of this game. Never. Ever. Ever. This is it. You have to understand what that does to the significance of this value. I mean, there was even like a a worry for the longest time that Pirates of the Caribbean would rem be remade because Jersey Jack never said they would never make more. Spooky is on the record. They will never make more. You have to understand what that does. There will never be more Winchesterers in the world. Okay, so here's here's the thing. Here's the thing. I have a Beetlejuice spot that a gentleman who has it would entertain offers on. If you know somebody or you yourself find yourself in the financial situation in which you don't mind paying over for this game that is now impossible to get, simply DM me or email me at canadap pinballgmail.com and I will float your offer in front of the individual. See what happens. and then you will have a spot and you will get a game. It's that simple. And I'm on the record. You You're going through me. You know, it's 100% going to be valid. Like I'm a public figure. I'm not ripping anybody off. You know, you don't have to worry. Like I'm as I always say this like whenever I've helped people scalp the game. I've always said like, "Look, man. Like they're like, "How do I know it's like I'm like, "Dude, I Google me, man. I'm everywhere. Like I'm not some dude that's going to rip you off." Who knows? Canada might be helping you get games down the road in the future. Are you guys Have I teased this enough what I'm what I'm going to be doing? It's going to be fun. I can't wait. I can't wait to convert a lot of you into potential Canad customers one day. It's going to be fun. We're going to rock stuff up a little bit. It's time. It's time. And I'm never stopping the podcast, but I'm never becoming a shill either. You're going to see everything that happens. Um, one life I live and it's time. It's time for me to get in the game and get into the adult side of this hobby and to keep doing my show, not be a shill, but whatever. If you guys want to get a game, I'll help you get a game. That's how it's going to work. And uh you're going to see more on that in the future. And I think it's going to be fun. And I think a lot of you are going to who are Canada Club fans and members will absolutely enjoy u placing an order with Canada, if you will, because it's you're going to see what you're going to see how it's all going to be. Anyway, um you would say it. Uh but I'm not giving you one of these. Bye. Bye. No, it's not it's not how that's not how I'm going to roll. Uh what did Walt do to get banned? Walt did not get banned. Walt's not banned. Walt's not blocked. Walt is not like Walt's not banned. You know, like I can we just put this whole Walt Wood thing to I have no I'll I'll tell you what was happening. I was literally out at a Japanese jazz bar. I saw Walt joined the show. Then I'm home taking care of my kid who's like getting ready for like like you know like surgery the next day and I have no idea what happened. I think he just like I don't know if he was like getting in beef with people on the chat or the it automoderated timed him out. All they had to do is probably log out, log back in. And instead of doing that, I don't know why Walt went and made a video that he was banned by Canada, which was not true. And then he went and made another video after I kind of I got pissed at him for that cuz it's like, dude, what are you doing, man? Like, who who responds like this? Like, I didn't block you. And then he goes and makes a video that he's never making videos ever again. So, I mean, talk about extreme reactions. He's an extreme guy. He makes extreme videos. I love Walt's videos. And I have no beef with Walt whatsoever. I love Walt. I was so happy someone gifted him a membership to Canadians Pinball Podcast. And so if you know Walt or you speak to Walt, Walt is not banned. He's not blocked. He's more than welcome to come back. And everybody would would love to have him back in the chat and back in the club. And that's it. There's no drama. Like there's absolutely no drama. So nothing was done to Walt. Walt simply reacted in a way uh that I had no control over. I can't control how someone's going to react to a glitch in the Patreon like auto moderation bot which probably made it might have just detected like too much behavior or I don't know if there was cursing going on. I don't know. I really don't know. But you got to imagine like I you know when you make a video without asking me what would happen. I don't know. I it's hard for me to react to that in a positive way because it just it felt because because what was weird is Walt was saying stuff like I'm not doing this for the clicks. I'm not doing this for the views. It's like dude, you just made a you just made a video, bro. Publicly facing video for the clicks and for the views without just checking with me first. So that's the part that I'm like I I just wish all content creators would realize like you do it for the views. You do it for the clicks. You do it for the attention. I think there's nothing, and this is not Walt, this is just in general. There's always this weird like Canadian is a loser that just wants views and clicks. I make content, you jackasses. That's what content creators are trying to get. Views, clicks, and subs. And like the losers that always indict me for actually being successful in a nano way in the very thing that this is meant for, what do you think this we're here for? And I always love, oh, I do it for free because I love the hobby. That's cool. one day when I'm done, I'm going to share with those guys who did it for free that I also love the hobby and I just I got just as much entertainment and enjoyment out of doing what they do. I'm just making a lot more than they are because they they act like they're doing some, you know, like like they're studying cancer research, like they're doing some greater good for society. I think it's a copout. I think a lot of people are um afraid to actually ask or go behind the payw wall fully because they know it's going to happen. No one's going to follow Um, Stern is now offering hand jobs. Nice to see my audience is as mature as ever. Fun clicks like socializing. Canada does it for the clicks and chicks. Well, one chick, Franchie, one chick. Um, yeah, I do it for the BJs, but I ain't talking about I love that like Carrie, you know, Carrie did turn it into like a crude joke, but it's funny. You know, I don't know. Like men men have humor that is a little uh inappropriate. Isn't that the whole point? Can we be inappropriate as men in the in today's day? So, if you know someone who's looking for a Beetlejuice, let me tell you something too right now. As someone who sold games to very wealthy collectors who are not on pin side, they usually deal with the distros. Like I know right now that like Melissa has tons of people needing a game. So does Joe New Hart. So does Zach. So do everybody. Mad Pinball, everybody. Mike at Automated. Mike Mike at Automated is not even listing the games are for sale because he doesn't even want to deal with it. He's getting a few, but he's not listing it because he doesn't want to deal with people calling. And they're all gone, by the way. So don't call them and ask for one. Um I think it's really funny to me, you know, when you think about it. Like every time I've sold a game to someone, let me tell you what they and and I mean like I I've sold games in in excess of 7,000 8,000 over sticker for a game. Every time I've done it, the person who bought it is just happy. They're very wealthy. It means nothing to them. The same way like it also means nothing to a lot of people that lose three to $5,000 on these Stern Les. They're very wealthy. I mean, some people have a quarter million dollars in uh in pinball machines. Some people have half a million dollars in pinball machines. It means nothing. And it and in the end, isn't all that matters in a deal that the seller and the buyer are both happy? He's happy he got a spot. He paid over for it because he knows he missed out on the initial run. He's paying a tax for not getting on the list early enough, but he doesn't care. But then you go on pinside and you see these babies, just these babies crying like they think they're entitled to that spot that they should have been given an opportunity to buy the game for Sticker. Like it it's just it blows my mind like that the level of like manchild behavior around stuff like this. And then you see these people Exactly. It's MSRP suggested retail price. And then you see these people who are like, "They should make more." That's the most annoying thing. They should make more. I should not have to be cranky because they can make more. They don't want to make more. They want to make the next game. You know, Dave, you just said 100%. People need to lo learn to lose again in life. They need to learn that you don't always get the girl you want. you can't always afford the car you want to have in your driveway, that you're not always going to get the job you applied for, that you're going to get rejected from the majority of colleges, that when you get into that college, you're not always going to get an A. Do you know Harvard gave 60% of its students last year an A grade? 10 years ago, it was 20%. And now that they realize that that doesn't work out with a normal grading scale, they've announced that they're going to grade harder. And now the students are all having meltdowns cuz they're not going to get an A that they never even deserved in the first place. So, you don't always get what you want. You know, when we when we um when we got this house, 48 couples were shown the house the same weekend we saw it. We saw it first on a Friday. 48 couples. And we were the first appointment Friday because our realtor was also her agency was also sponsoring the seller, which is a conflict of interest when you think about it. And you know, we saw the house and they said, "Hey, look, like it's not going to go for this. There's a lot of interest in this house. Um, we can find out a shut it down price." I was like, "Fine, what's the shut it down price?" Which means if you offer it, it's yours. I offered it, but the seller was like, "All right, I verbally accept their offer, but I still will show it to 48 other couples just in case their offer falls through." Can't blame her for that. In the meantime, we came here, we took pictures with Killian sitting at the bar. Brenda was, you know, pregnant. Like, we were all like hap, you know, just I I mean, I inundated this woman with like, "We are so excited to make this our family's home for the next like 30 years." She shows it to 48 other couples. She got five other offers on top of ours. Full cash offers. Ours had a, you know, a little mortgage. Full cash offers. She still gave the house to us. Those 48 other couples, they had to receive bad news. They didn't get it. You know, they didn't, you know, sometimes it's just life's not fair. The lesson in this is be proactive. Do all you can, but sometimes you're not always going to get what you want. Sad boy lost $3,000 last weekend. I know what it means to lose. Sad boy, all you got to do, dude, give me the give me the $3,000. We'll play virtual poker for free and then I'll give you the money back. Um, no, but like you know the the thing is this game is really special. Um, the Deo Let's talk about the game a little bit, right? I mean, I've just been talking about everything but the game. Hold on. I got to go get the charger. My computer's about to die. Oh my sciatica. Getting old people. I got to do the stretches today. It's the way I sleep or sit on it. I don't know what it is. My sciatica. I feel like an old an old man. My sciatica. My left leg. Sciatica right here. Right here. Oh, just like right there. Right there. It's just I know a stretch I got to do stretches every day to open open it up, but it's Oh, it just kills. It's only like when you kind of move in a certain way. All right, let's see. You know, I think when you see that deo mode, you're like, "Wow." And like when the worm is like getting into it to me, that's it. That's like the pinball moment that sold everybody on the game. Literally, the pinball machine is grooving out. Like grooving with you. I It It's like I I don't If If the game only did that, that's still cooler than anything G&R does. By the way, um GNR is leaving the house. And I've got a little bit of a quagmire because I did want my kids to grow up and like have it in their home one day. I think I might, you know, store it somewhere with one of my local storage facility friends. But did you have to give up your Beetlejuice spot to your realer? I mean, look, the I from everything I've heard from people that have played this game, the modes are so much fun. The game is so awesome. The game shoots so well. The game is just a masterpiece. I tend to believe those. And look, yes, of course, little rosecolored glasses, but I just think this game is is special on a whole new level. Well, Mike, I don't want I don't want GNR up here anymore because you know what's going to go next to Beetlejuice if I have two pins up here? A little game called Back to the Future or Sonic the Hedgehog. Um they are doing back to the future sle and um I will have a uh a few of them as well. Talk about if you thought that Beetlejuice was a was crazy to get back to the future. And also the thing about Back to the Future is like I think it's just coin taker. Maybe someone else might have some some copies. I don't know. Maybe there might be a new place to buy some games, but everybody else doesn't have a Dutch. I'm happy for Co Taker. They They stood by Dutch all those years. They deserve to have this moment. Um, a lot of people, you know, didn't and now want in on it. You know, we all know one you you guys all know this, right? Like Spooky could have sold every single one direct yesterday. I mean I I'm I'm not like I love my Dro friends, but Spooky basically handed a million and a half dollars to $2 million. They They need not used to need dros to like find customers. Like they literally could have sold every game direct. How fast will Back to the Future be built? Not fast enough, man. We all know that. You know, in a weird in a weird world, I I think a Dutch and spooky merger sounds like awesome. Can I Can I whisper that again? In a weird world, I think a Dutch and spooky merger sounds pretty awesome. I don't know. Something about Melvin and Bug and Luke. Those three sound really cool together to my in my honest opinion. I'm only selling toppers, Tim. Well, Back to the Future. I mean, I I know what the plans are. Um I know what's in the game kind of. Not really. And they have Michael J. Fox. Franchie's on the artwork. Franchie knows this game is insane. Like I I continue to say um where did I get the prints behind me? I you know I need to find the artist's name. I got them like 10 year maybe 15 years ago. He did a run of these prints and I just I bought like so many of them. Um I've got one I got a mail to our friends over at uh at Spooky. Um Spooky Luke in the house. Is he here? Where is he? Oh, I love that the flippers flip to the beat of the song. FYI, word is out and I am doing Dutch's next game and then wonder how being a signed deal with Spooky. Yes, it's true. I'm doing it. Yeah, Christopher Franchi like like I also think like Joe K, you know, Chris, we know your relationship with Joe Camnikau. Um, and I think it's just it's good for pinball. It's good for Here's why it's good for pinball. We know like Franchie is going to do this one game with Dutch signed on before the deal with spooky. And we, you know, by Dutch's track record, they do one game every 12 years, so it'll be fine. You're not going to get oversaturated with Franchie's art elsewhere. Um, I But Franchie gets old, man. I just got out of bed. Bug, I love you, brother. Um, you missed a really energetic show. You have to go back and watch this. But um you know what happened yesterday is a is is a changing of the guard. It is a rude awakening because it's just like you know it's like I I don't think there's a better analogy that than once you see the light and once you are given something of such tremendous value and passion it's hard to go back and buy the alternative that is just not as good. And I think Stern underestimated that. I think they thought that they could just keep clobbering us with with like because they could manufacture quickly that we would just keep buying from them because we were just addicted to it like it was crack and you know now there's just a better drug in town and that everybody wants and it's not what they're serving up and the Stern apologist you know like and I think what Stern like and I don't have any like I think Stern's made some of the greatest games in the history of pinball if not the best games in the history of pinball but it just it just is starting to feel like their time is up a little bit that they got so big and too many committees and and they're rushing everything and as an organization they don't they don't work together to make every game the best game they can make. Can you imagine if Porsche use a car analogy if Porsche as an organization like had like really bad 911s mixed in with other 911s. No, it's like they make sure that they get it right. And I think that's what everyone's kind of tired of with Stern is like not only are they getting it wrong, they're just like they get it really wrong and then they get lazy and just do remakes and it's just just feeling like I don't want to be a part of this anymore. Yeah, Carl, they've become complacent. Like, did you hear from anyone over there yesterday? You know what I would have done if I was Stern yesterday? If I was George Gomez, if I was Seth Davis, I would have made a statement. You know, yesterday we saw um the release of Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice. We saw the tremendous excitement and enthusiasm this community has for this machine. I called a meeting with my leadership team yesterday and I made them all look at this game as um as an example of what, you know, every game leaving our factory what needs to be. And they would never say this, you know what I'm saying? Because it's like an admission that someone made something spectacular, but that's the truth. And I think Stern is at a position right now where they need a little humbleness. They need a little empathy. They need a little They need to build bridges back to people. And I think they're going about it the opposite way. I think they're still arrogant. I've heard from what I've heard conversations that Stern employees have had with operators and dros yesterday and it is still chock full of arrogance. It is chock full of like screw those little guys. It is chock full of like you know what like we're like we're like it's laughable like those numbers like what we like they don't get it. They don't get it. the their their arrogance, the blowhard nature, and I think they're I think they're they are under tremendous pressure, but they're they're pushing back with the wrong mentality. How much commission does Canada get on sales in chat? Uh, I think I get most of the the money that puts into the super chats here. So, if you want to give some super chat money, Kelly, I'd love it. Mustang doesn't try to build better than Ferrari. They are fine with being a Mustang. You know, Carrie, that's actually not true, man. But Mustang just made a $380,000 car. You know this. See, Gary, like I if you're going to use a car, Mustang actually just made the GTD the GTD their like race car that is actually trying to take down the Porsche GT3 RS. So like, but yeah, when they do they, you know, it's sold out, too. Gail's analogy. Let me uh what? Look gang, Jamie needs me on the round table. I'm not going to watch Kale on the round table talk to Jamie and Ralph. Like I literally talk to Kale myself, but I, you know, I'm not gonna spend an hour watching or 90 minutes watching three dudes talk about stuff that I'd spend most of my day talking about because, you know what I'm saying? Like I know they're not coming to OB. I'll happily join the same way I'll join Jenga and Don. I have side conversations all day long now with Jenga and Don. It's great. We're We're everyone's getting along great. Um I have side conversations with Ralph's the one like, you know, there not proactively talking to me really. Like we're we we bird the hatchet, but I'll join the show, but I'm not I'm not going to, you know, I'm again like I'm not going to sit down and watch like everything happening. It's too much. too because I'm already doing I'm like I'm in the go mode. Like I'm making you know the I'm we're all saying the same stuff. Let's be honest. Like no one's like, "Oh man, Beetleju like they they really flubbed it. Congrats to Spooky and crew. Beetlejuice would have been fun to make, but I'm glad this crew made it." Like damn Jack Danger. Of course, Jack. Jack, isn't it crazy how like we were all happy when Stern got Godzilla and not Spooky and now four and a half years later, we're happy that Spooky got Beetlejuice and not Stern. Oh man, I think I think there's going to be a shakeup. I think there's going to be a shakeup of where talent falls in pinball in 2026. And I think all the talent's going to end up at American Pinball. I'm joking. You know, it's He-Man people, right? Like they're like they have the He-Man license and it's He-Man and I I don't know what happened, man. Like what Mukesh like went to Expo and like how are they back back on? Um but you know what would be awesome is a Jack Danger He-Man if he went over to American Man ball. Like I think Jack needs It's not He-Man, Franchie said. Okay, I trust Franchie because Franchie knows. So it's not He-Man. Okay, well there you go. I love Franchie here because every once in a while like he fact checks me. Bringing Zidwear back, dude. Totally [snorts] make the Zidwear kiss game that is like unshootable. Yeah, it's going to be Beetleju's barbecue challenge. I don't know, man. I just think like Steve Bowen's rule sets are just the greatest the world's ever seen. Like when you hear Steve Bowen talking about Bario's barbecue challenge, I literally fall back in my chair and play dead. The second worst to that is Steve Bowen's Raza rule set, which just makes you also want to fall back in your chair and play dead. Now look, Raza is coming out. Raz is 333. Raza will be more expensive than Beetlejuice. And Raz is going to sell out. I mean, I've seen Raza gang. I just again like I think if if Winchester sells out, Raz is going to sell out. Like you're you're going to see all these games are are just phenomenal worlds under glass. Hey, what time is the uh am I missing like is there any footage of this uh barrels factory tour today? I worked with J-pop at Zidware the same time Jeremy did. I did animations for Magic Girl. Really? Did you really? I didn't know that, Jack. I really did not know that. Are there any animations in Magic Girl? I had the game. [snorts] Where' they all go? Does Alice really shoot like crap? Um, no. Alice doesn't shoot like crap. Alice just doesn't have a lot to shoot at. and Alice code is is not very thorough. You know, remember it's like Melbourne does not have a team really working on this code like other companies do. Raza will be last ever produced J-pop game. Um hopefully. Yeah. I can't believe that people aren't like aren't Stern super depressed yesterday. I know if um I I Yo, Jack, were you Were you over at Stern yesterday? What was the mood like? I mean, sorry, we got we got someone who works there here. Jack, what was the mood like? Jack, correct us. Correct up. Correct us. I can't speak today. Correct us if we're wrong. Jack, was there not a Walking Dead stream scheduled for yesterday? Because I could have sworn that that date was put out and externally communicated by Stern. Did that change or was that date never even said by Stern? So, I'm just I I just didn't know if you know since you have more line of sight internally over there. What I love about Jack, too, is Jack Jack's just like an different suppernal realm. Like, we're glad he's over there. He's one of us, you know? Like, no matter what happens, Jack will never go down with like any stern decision- making. He is always going to be one of us. Um, I'm the guy that typically asks to set the cameras up and I wasn't aware. Okay. I could have sworn there was like a date by Stern. Does anyone know where that came from? Why won't the new marketing guy get in the community? Can you imagine if you're the new Stern CMO now? Like yesterday, you're like, "Today's the day I'm going to go live and I'm going to introduce the Walking Dead code." You know, today's the day I'm going to win people over. The problem is now with this new turn CMO is the more time he delays, the more difficult it's going to be for him. I kind of feel like I don't know if he's waiting for like a moment to say was his moment, right? Like, oh yeah, like I made Pokemon or I made Transformers. Like here's, you know, I I don't know. I don't know. I I think he's more of a CMO that's doing back channel deals with retailers. I think his job is to expand Stern's presence in places like Walmart and Costco and Amazon and and China and whatever their plans are. I I think he he is not hired to be a a consumerf facing marketing personality or entity. [snorts] I Jesse I agree. They said gameplay on the 14th. Make the Stern Zimo played 100 tournaments. Oh man, I like I know these guys watch all this stuff. Like I you it's got to be it has to be annoying for them to wake up and know that Canad's at it again and he's wearing a spooky shirt and he's got six Beetlejuice games and grown men are willing to give him BJs to get a BJ. Like literally you guys are these guys are acting like the dude in that um fire festival documentary trying to unlock all those bottles of water. So, um, as I said earlier, we have 122 people here. I I do have a friend who's selling a spot, not for MSRP. He's looking for money over. And if you want a Beetlejuice game and you want to go to bed tonight with a spot that you are guaranteed to get a game, let me know. It's not my game. It's not one of the spooky six games I'm getting. So, you know, don't go running into Spooky saying Canad is scalping one of his games. I'm simply simply helping someone who does not want to face the wrath and the vitriol of the pinsside mob. And he's just willing to see what people might offer for his spot. He's not a scalper. He's not trying to like He's just saying, "Hey, if you're willing to take my spot for this much, maybe it's yours." That's it. He's an opportunistic individual and he's a good guy and I won't ever say who he is. It's the floor model. Um, let's see if anybody emailed me. I'm gonna go look right now. I'm curious. So, gang, are are you allowed to post a four sales spot on Pinside? That's a Beetlejuice spot. I wasn't sure. All right, I got an email already here. Beetlejuice entry info. Chris, did you announce how you will be collecting interest for entertaining a chance to buy the Canada Beetlejuice game? I will keep listening but did not hear. I think I saw uh on one show but maybe not sure. Can't wait for the spectacular chat. Chad well Chad um I have not. Um we're going to do it differently this time. It is not going to be just names out of a hat. Like that to me that's like boring. It's boring. It's like we've done that before and it's like it's got like a little drum. It's just it doesn't it doesn't create good content. It doesn't create a moment. I want to do something much more memorable. And I think I'm going to do one at a time. So, we're not going to do all five at once. And I want each one to become a moment. Now, remember, we've got until January until this game goes on the line. Um, you know, talking with the folks over at Spooky, I think these Canad 5 might be one of the earlier builds, you know, it's what happens when you know the company and you know the mayors of of the of the city, you kind of get uh front of the line service. I don't think they're going to be at the end. Now, my 999 is going to be the last game they ever make at Beetlejuice. I'm gonna I demand that of them. I I demand it is made after the show games. I demand it is it is the I I wanna I actually want to go to Benton, Wisconsin when 999 rolls off the line. I want to be there. I want to hug babies, kiss babies, hold dogs. I want I want to have a whole moment, you know. Maybe they'll do a little something special for the final game for Canada. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe they will. Never selling the game. 999 staying forever. So, whatever they do, whatever we want to do, goldplate the damn thing. We'll see. But I want to go to that I want to go to that line and I want to like shake hands with everybody. I want everybody at Spooky to sign under the playfield or whatever. They They can sign it. Like, I just think it's a moment. Canada Midnight launch party. Oh, that made me laugh. Someone just said I should get Todd Tucky to throw the five Canada editions off the roof. Uh, you know what's funny, gang, is I bet if I had like a YouTube channel and and it was all about throwing each new stern machine off of Todd Tucky's roof, I bet we could get enough people to pay to see that to not only just pay for the game, but to then like each of us can make some good money for that amazing content. I 100% if we're like we're gonna toss Star Wars LE off the roof, literally we could raise 13,000. I think I think we could easily get more than $13,000 donated to see that moment. Hot pink armor on Beetlejuice number 999. That's interesting. I'm not sure how that would look. might go might go well with the color package. K. You realize the last game will be on the line when the following game is on the line. Yeah, I know that, Eric. And I will be in on the next game and hopefully get more than five next time. So, I'm not I'm absolut I know that. Um, did anyone order Walking Dead Ali? Like I I like publicly are you like are you sh Nobody's Nobody's listening here. Are you are you okay to like admit it? Did anyone here like actually order Walking Dead Ali other than Iceman and Neil McCrae? Did anyone actually plop down 13,000 for that game? I know Neil's got one in Iceman. I mean they they got 498 more to sell. Anybody? Franchie did Wasn't orange enough for me. I mean, well, I'm gonna talk to Bug and Luke about this because they have um I think what they need to do is revisit the Fang Club in the right way and I think they need to create um their own internal list of of a guaranteed spot for the next game. I think they need to sell that. I think they need to sell it for a lot more than 50 bucks. Now, we're gonna we're gonna I'm gonna talk with them. Luke, I'm gonna Luke, let's talk this week. I think you guys are in a very uh great position to create a a real spooky loyalty club that is like a membership, if you will, but like real not 50 bucks [ __ ] bro. Like you come on. These guys are making thousands of dollars in value. Like let's let's really create like a a true fan club that, you know, allows these rich dudes to sleep at night knowing they're going to get a game. You guys are just I I over like I don't it's not overnight. You know I always say this like your success hasn't been anything but overnight. Your success has been over a decade of hard work of listening to feedback of getting better of constantly improving constantly listening to feedback. Hard work, blood, sweat, tears, late nights, late weekends, miss vacations, you know, miss family obligations. Getting it to where it is today. Like not you that's the thing about it seems like overnight you know yeah you make $10 million in sales in one day not because of something that happened overnight and so all the hard work all the like you know and hearing like Bug and Luke talk in a featurette about how they just know they just know what uh you know how to take things further how to push things you know in a new direction how to how to not just accept for like mediocrity it's just it's everything people want to hear. So, like what I really think, you know, Luke, you guys are now in a unique situation where you're now on a level that nobody else really is. And it's beautiful. It's And I always said this to Luke. Cuz like the challenge now is like don't get greedy, but get like like figure out how to like now like it's now it's just about finessing and and then sort of like um polishing a few of the things that are what your brand is all about and figuring out a right way to do it. Now, I would argue not much needs to change there. This is not a time to change much. You don't change much of the price. you don't need to change much. It is beautiful to witness this. Um, you know, there's always been this saying, just because you could do something doesn't mean you should. And I think Stern's the opposite. I think because they could charge 20,000 for James Bond's 60th, they did because they could make more James Bond toppers when they said they wouldn't. They did because they could rerun again even though they said they would never. They did. It's a company that's never going to make more Beetlejuice games. That That is That is a beautiful That is a beautiful thing. No. $500. But see, the the thing is, Franchie, $500 to join a fan club to get a guarantee of the next game. That's not greedy. greedy would be $5,000, which is what people are getting. Man, I just want to say this right now. I know we're not allowed to say this. On the secondhand market, these games are now trading for5 to $8,000 over 10 over over I mean, it's also like, you know, day one is always like a big, you know, FOMO day. These I've said like, dude, it it's not rocket science. Evil Deads are going for 15 16,000. So, Winchesterers are going for 15 16,000. Um, if Evil Dead goes for $15,000, Beetlejuice is going to settle. Every one of them is going to settle permanently around $15 to $18,000. I I don't know. Elemental, where I don't know where you're looking. So, So, um, I want to answer this right now. Joe Joe Tech Bob said nobody would pay $500 unless it went towards their deposit. I'm here to tell you right now, Joe Bob, you're 100% wrong. You're 100% wrong. Joe, do you know how like country clubs work? You You pay $20,000 a year. You It doesn't go towards your food. Doesn't go towards your golf outing. Doesn't go towards your tips. Doesn't go towards anything. It just allows you to get into the club and and then everything else you buy, you have to pay full price. If Spooky were to offer, I'm just going to say this right. they were to offer 200 VIP Fang Club memberships at $500 a pop, which guaranteed you in the next game, they would that those would sell out instantly. Gang, y'all y'all will spend $500 on two rooms to go to freaking Pinball Expo, which is boring. After a couple hours, you'll spend $500 for two nights stay in Schlamberg, Illinois. which is then gone for good after two hours at the show. You're bored. You're saying that people would not spend $500 to get their get access to the next spooky game that's going to be worth 50% more money instantly. They would sell out of every spot instantly. Doesn't have to go to doesn't have to go towards the game. You're just a member. And gang, literally, I go out to eat. I go out to eat lunch. Every lunch now, every lunch now is 150 bucks. Why would it kill the goodwill, Mike? Why would it kill the goodwill? I I don't Why would that kill goodwill? I I don't I don't understand why they would kill the Goodwill. They're not ripping anybody off. They're just giving the people what they want. Well, look, maybe they should just make it 100% fair and just sell every game direct. Why not just sell every game direct? First come, first serve. Wouldn't that be the most fair? Would that create the best goodwill? Sell every game direct and then you then it's then it's like first come, first serve. I don't know. Seems like it'd be a nightmare, but I don't know. I I think um I don't think they're going to do it. It's fine. It's fine. It's, [clears throat] you know, it's not who they are. I get it. I get it. But I, you know, I come from a different place. I come from New York City. I come from a place where, like, you know, that's chump change to just have access to something. Of course, the audio is better here. I'm I'm talking to you through a $500 microphone versus a phone mic. I don't know why anyone would be on Facebook and not on YouTube. I I don't get it. It's also the camera's not flipped on on YouTube. It's so much better to watch this. I would love it if everyone just watched on YouTube. Um, it makes it easier for me. Whatever anyone does in this or any other hobby, someone is going to piss and moan about it. Let's Let's go to Pinside real quick. I want to read some of the um the babies. They're so fun to read. Literally, they are like Let me move this over a little bit. Um, let's go. Yeah, of course. The Beetlejuice hype thread is at the top. Let's see. Let's Let's go latest. I'm incredibly disappointed to not see crazy Levy in this thread explaining that if Pinsiders ran a pinball business, it would fail miserably. Uh, I love this. It's comical to see so many people's opinion on how Spooky should run their business model and sales approach. For a couple of young kids who are sitting on multi-million dollar business valuation, I think they are doing quite fine. If anyone has a better business strategy, it's a free market. So, set up your own pitball business from scratch and start pumping out 10,000 games a year. Easy enough, I would think. Well, they're not doing 10,000 games a year. 1,000 games a year. Um, I think Oh, I think $10,000 games a year. Okay. In the last loser kid podcast, Bug talks about creating value for the customer due to scarcity. Has people really been shiting on spooky for years? I must have watched the wrong forum. What is so childish? This is a discussion forum. If you have a company with a product 3,000 people want to buy, but there is only 1,000 product. How do you sort that? How does it work with who gets a game? Are you moving into Porsche territory where you have to take heavy losses on five or six standard cars? The these people are such idiots. Like what are these people talking about? They the thing with Porsches gang is you they can go up hundreds of thousands of dollars. They and your distributors can play this any way they want. But what they but why not be open about it? then you will not have any potential buyers being frustrated. See, here's the problem with these people. And this is Dr. Pin. You're always going to disappoint some people and it's okay. Like this whole notion of like, oh, we have to make sure everybody's happy, everybody has a fair shot, everybody like just stop. It's just not the way the world works. The way the world works is this. They're going to allocate games to distros. Those distros can sell those games to whoever they want based on relationships they have with customers that they've they've developed. Spooky is going to sell 70 games directly. Everybody else, it's it's your job to try to find a dro that has an allocation. It's much like a car dealership. You don't buy directly from Porsche. Why should they feel bad or try to make a because you're there's no way to make amends with the thousands of people that can't get one ever. You didn't get your pimp. This is not a cancer drug that these people need to live. They are not price gouging the product. I don't understand. You didn't get one. You didn't You didn't try hard enough. What is it like having a pedophile protector as a role model for your What are you talking about? Who's a role model for my kids? That's a pedophile. What is this guy? I don't even know what these people are talking about. These people are weird. Exactly. Jesse, you keep your ear to the ground. You pay attention and you won't miss out. Look at this guy says. Maybe they can have an open subscription where the thousand most preferred customers gets the next game. And if one bails, there's something. They created FOMO intentionally only to have 75 available on launch day proves that maybe release. No, they had more than 70. They Oh my god. This guy's if I'm spooky, I don't even go on pin side anymore. Like Like I I don't even go on pinside for a month. If I'm spooky, I'm finishing The Evil Deads. I'm flying to Hawaii. I'm taking a nice holiday and then starting production of Beetlejuice. These losers are really just that they are grown babies. They got locked out. And you know what I would do? You know what I would do? If I missed out and it was $10,000 and I really wanted it, I'd offer somebody 15. I wouldn't go on pin side and be like, "They need to fix their business." No, I missed out. The market value is higher. I'm going to offer it. That's what that's what that's what a grown man does. Put on your big boy pants and if you really want the game, you don't you it's now worth more than 10. It's never going to You missed out on the initial IPO of the game price. Put on your big boy pants and make an offer. Stop whining like a baby. Stop telling them how to do their business. Stop trying to come up with socialistic ways to make it fair for everybody. Stop. You sound stupid. No one has any empathy for Porsche people. Who does anyone feel sorry for the Porsche guy that has to buy six Porsches to get access to the really rare one? Who gives a [ __ ] about those multi-millionaires? Nobody. Nobody. Like seriously, Neil Mcgra just posted on Facebook that he's looking to go test a I don't know if he's joking or not, a 15 million euro boat. 15 million euro boat. Do you feel bad if Neil has to pay 5,000 over for something? People wake up. Like, I don't know what world you live in, but wake up. Open your eyes. It's 2025. No. Like, what's going to happen, Fizzy, is they're just not going to get a game again. Well, people are going to try to get on this early. They're going to like I I don't know. I don't have this problem. I I will never have this problem. I've worked hard in this industry for 12 years. I've made content for 12 years. I have friends. I have networks. I like I'm I don't have this problem. people will take care of me. When I show up to the pinball restaurant, I have a seat. You know, I think some of these guys like they just don't get it. And people I'm I'm reading message. How you handling those five? I'm going to figure this out, Yeah, I got a lot of leaves. Today's going to be a fun day like cleaning up in the fall. I just want to say look, I want to say look, this is if I'm spooky, just who cares? You don't need to go into the Beetlejuice hype thread because the game sold out. You You made one of the coolest games we've seen in in like maybe forever. You guys are victory lapping it. You're having a good time. The babies are going to cry. The ones who got it are going to rub it in their faces because that's what we do. We're We're we love to rub it in their faces. Uh because there's just a lot of people that had so much time. Like I don't Come on, man. Come on. I think a cage match would be fun. I should have two guys fight for a game. Oh man, I didn't even think about that. Can you imagine we have a cage fight at Pinball at the Beach? Little set up a little octagon and whoever wins wins. I'd pay to see that. During Carrie's stream yesterday, there were so many people crying. I got to the point where I shut off the chat. Love this YouTube. Mike mic sounds great. Thanks. Thanks, Dan. um boxing with lose. You lost. You didn't You didn't get it. The funny thing about the the babies is like, you know, and this is why Spooky doesn't want to make more games and they don't need to make more games and they're just going to keep doing what they're doing. Like Like it's nice to know we're going to have like $10 million plus a year in in revenue every year if we just keep doing it this way. It's nice to know like we can all have a good cut. We can all have a great life. We can all and not only that, they're building a business that has tremendous value now because of the consistency of that, you know, and it's like and and you know this American dream. It's like whereas like see if you're stern and you kept pissing people off. See the the thing is nobody's pissed off because they lost any money. People are pissed off because they lost they lost access to something of value. It's a much different anger, right? People are mad at Stern because they've been they've been losing money buying Stern's products. The people mad at Spooky are mad because they can't get in the door. People can't find the exit fast enough for Stern Newbox games now. But people are mad at Spooky because they can't get in the door. Sorry. Sorry. Like there's just it's just there's we have maximum capacity of 10,000 of sorry 1,079 people. Our maximum capacity for this game. Everybody else, you can't get in. There's no other way we could have did it. This is the building we built. This is the capacity of the game. It's it is what it is. Don't come in every chat. Don't go into every forum crying about And you know what? I kind of love rubbing it in the faces of these men. Like come on. You're a grown man. Like seriously, bro. Seriously. You want one? Pay the piper. I have a game that a guy has that you could have today. You just got to pay for it. You don't have $5,000 lying around. You shouldn't be in this hobby. If you don't have $5,000 extra lying around, get get out of this hobby. Get out of this hobby. This damn thing, I don't even turn it on. This thing's worth $12,000. I'm not even rich. This thing's worth $12,000. And so is the other one over here. These things will go for 10 to 12,000. Well, maybe eight to 12. I don't even turn it on. If I really wanted Beetlejuice, I would sell one of these and go get a Beetlejuice payover. What's What's wrong with everybody? Yeah. Yeah. This This watch, I don't even like this watch is not even special. It's just a basic watch. The Grand Seiko Snowflake. Beautiful watch. I love it. Nothing Nothing pretentious. No Rolex here. But I think this thing is like, see, it looks like snow. Can you see it? The surface looks like snow. I think this thing is like five grand. You can have it here. Can I have your Beetlejuice spot here? And I I it'll it'll pay for the game. Stop Stop crying, you babies. Stop crying. Leave these guys alone. They made a game. You guys didn't do anything. You didn't make anything. You didn't make content. You didn't make any You didn't do anything. You don't deserve a game. You're not entitled to a game. Does anyone want these arcades? Make me an offer. I'll send them to you. I got five mini cabs. I've got an SC19, an a Neo 19, an SC. I got an It's an SC19, a Neo19, an SC14. I've got a Capcom mini cute, and I've got the mini red Neo. I got too many of them. They all play the same damn Neo Geo games except for the Capcom.
[sighs]
The reason why this like triggers me is just these guys are just like what do you want them to do? What you really are asking is what you needed to do something different so I could have got one. I should have one. Canada told you to get on the freaking list. I told you guys for weeks, for months what did a like. And those who listened, guess what they're doing? They're playing Beetlejuice next year. Those who didn't listen, those who didn't subscribe, you're you're gonna go by Walking Dead, man. It's okay, man. I I like what they did with the Pez heads on the slingshots. Yeah, man. A lot of orange, man. A lot of orange in this game, but I like orange. I like I It's my vitamin C for the day. You know, guys, don't listen to Cano. What What do you think I'm doing here? You think I'm doing this for my health? I did go to the gym. You think I'm doing this for my health? You think I'm doing this? You know, you know, this is my livelihood trying to help you guys out. Did you like literally did you not think Beetlejuice with only 999 80 show games would would not like instantly sell out? Oh, I'm going to wait to see the trailer. Going to wait to see the trailer. Wait to see you. It was free. Getting on the list didn't even require the money. You jackasses could have been on the list for free six months ago when I told you. When I told you get on the list, call up. Did you call? Dude, Joe Newart was selling spots last month. They were available last month. And do you not understand how a phone works? You grown babies, if you called up any Melissa, Joe, hey, I want to give you and stop being stupid. You know, everybody's got a limited allocation. Call up Zack. Call up this. Call Hey, I'm going to give you 2500. Keep the 500. Take your beautiful wife out for dinner and just put me on your Beetlejuice list. THEY'RE GOING TO SAY YES. And all you had to do is like, you know, kick a little extra to your dro to take his wife out for dinner. Wait, this the way the world works. Are you Are you guys grown men or not? Like Like what do you do? Like when I go to my favorite restaurant and like you know three drinks are on the house because I'm a regular. What do you think I do when I when the tip comes? I give more. So when I come back in next time, hey Chris, how you doing? Your seats your seat. You guys just like you just wake up. You think you deserve a spot. You didn't even try to do anything extra. You didn't be proactive. You What do you think the way money makes the world go round? Most people in this world don't have $10,000 for a pinball machine. So, we're all a bunch of like 1 percentile babies like complaining about like, oh, we didn't we got locked out of a pinball purchase. You know how stupid you look to the rest of the world? So, yeah, put on your big boy pants, grow up a little bit, and do what you need to do to get a spot if you really wanted a game. But if you thought you were just going to watch the trailer and like, hey, make some phone calls and get one of those 70 games. They had 30,000 people trying to get through the website. They had thousands of people probably calling for 70 spots. Whatever. I told all you guys. I did not tell you to buy Star Wars and The Walking Dead. I did not. I said I thought they were going to sell out. I did not say you had to buy one. I never said you got to get on a list because they're going to sell out. I thought they would sell out, but I never said you needed to buy one. Yeah. I thought Toy Story was, but this is I didn't know it was Toy Story 4. You know what the thing is, Kelly? If it was Toy Story 1, like I thought it was going to be and it was Andy's room. The moment it was Toy Story 4, gang, what did I do? I lost $2,000 on Toy Story 4. You guys know this. You know this story. I had a $2,000 um non-refundable deposit and I lost it. I I walked I think I got a thousand bucks. I think I lost $1,000. I think Joe found a guy that was willing to like give me a,000 bucks for my spot. Like so he he saved $1,000. I lost $1,000 on Ultra Man deposit. I'm not always right. I speculate. But this was a no-brainer, gang. Of course, I was speculating on Star Wars and Walking Dead. I didn't think Stern would keep putting out such crap. I thought they'd wake up and actually make a freaking awesome game this year. They just seem incapable of that. But of course, I I was never speculating on Beetlejuice. I knew this thing was crazy. The same thing's going to happen if they have Gremlins or Goonies or anything ' 80s 90s nostalgia. You stupid. It's over. Like, take my money now. Like, Christopher Franchi, just just tell Killian and Cass they're not going to college. And I'm spending all my money on franch spooky games. I wish I could post a meme in here because that's why. Um anyway gang, look to the babies who waited. Look, I think most people are not babies. Most people are not going on pinside whining and crying. You know, like again, money talks. Welcome to the modern world. I need to buy new tires for my Dodge Demon. Okay, want to hear something? I need to buy new tires for my Dodge Demon. There's only one set available because they don't make them anymore. Um, there's only one with the Demon logo on them. Available for sale on Pinside. Sorry, why' I say Pinside? On eBay, ironically, guess how much they are? For four tires, people that are going to wear through and then never be good again. And I don't even know if they're great now because they're six years old and tires do crack and not you know the life of a tire is like 10 years $5,000 a guy wants for them. Am I going to cry like a baby? That's not fair. You bought them for like 400 bucks each. You only spent like $2,000 on them. Why don't Why you want Why? You know, you don't deserve to have them. You're not using Shut up everybody. I might pay the $5,000 just to get the damn tires because I I don't have any other options. There's a new Neato that's not the same tire. It's not I don't know. Something about keeping the the Demon tire on the Demon that just is appealing. And look, it's stupid. I could buy a comparable tire for $2,000, but maybe I want to spend more and just have the damn Demon logos on them. So, if you want a Beetlejuice and you're not a baby, I got a guy. I got a guy that is willing to entertain an offer from you. Now, these spots are going to go. Most of these games will not be scalped. I don't think you're going to see a 100 Beetlejues change hand or 50. I think people are going to hold on to this game for a very long time. I think this is the modern-day Adams family. I think this is going to be the cornerstone and the lynch pin in everybody's collection moving forward. I think it raised the bar. I think it's a game in which all new games will be compared to and I think everybody else is going to just get better because this game is going to force everybody to make better games, better themes, better theme integration, better personality, better magic, better everything. And it's damn good that that's happening. This is good for everybody. Seems like you would buy a set of tires to dive to drive on and set of demon tires to hang on to. No, the the problem is you don't want to just hang out. I I had like I had a spare set of demon tires, my friend. And my freaking buddy moved houses and threw him out. He threw him out. He didn't even call me and tell me to come get him. He was like upset. His dad passed away. He moved houses. And you know, I like I get it. I was in a weird situation cuz his dad dies. He moves houses. And I feel bad, but dude, just call me up. I would have came and got them. And it's like I it put me in a really weird And then he's like, "Dude, I'll take you out to dinner." I'm like, "Dude, they're $5,000." Like, take me out to dinner. I don't know. I I just It is what it is, man. Like life's too short. Like I I don't know. I I Sometimes you got to like really You got to let things go and it just is what it is. I sniped [snorts] the tires. I I don't want You can have them, man. Uh everybody, look, have a great great Saturday. Congratulations to everybody over at Spooky Stern. You got some work to do. I know it's coming from Jersey Jack and they're going to be just fine. Uh, I know it's coming from Dutch Pinball. They're going to be just fine. I think Pinball Brothers is in trouble. I think Padre is in trouble. I think um Pinball Adventures is in trouble. I think American Pinball's return is not going to be anything special. Um, I think Barrels is fine. I think David just needs to keep making, you know, around this many games. I think David needs to look at themes that like like Blood Sport, like Fist of the Northstar, like you know, Akira, Big Trouble with China, Last Star Fighter, Transformers, G.I. Joe, you know, and he'll be fine. I think, you know, Dune was just like, "No, we don't want the contemporary things. We want the nostalgic things." And I think David realizes that. Um, everybody be good and I will be back this week with podcast. And hey, stay tuned for how I'm going to handle those five spooky games of Beetlejuice. I have not figured it out yet. So, don't worry. You haven't missed out on any way to enter, okay? Because I'm I'm seeing emails and people asking me how I'm handling them. So, just don't worry. And And again, I'm not selling these or scalping them to the highest offer. I mean, I could easily do that. Should I project pinball these things and get like $30,000 for each one and then, you know? No. No. Not doing it. Later.
